I had a mold problem - a bad one at that. After the removal of our water softening system and its pipes in the garage, we realized the wall it sat closest to was covered in a layer of black mold. So I pulled out my handy dandy Yelp app and inboxed a few businesses that serviced our area. Dry Pro responded within minutes, and in came Merco to the rescue.

In my communication with him, he was nothing but a pleasure to work with and honest to boot. His employees showed up during the planned timeframe, and they were efficient at their jobs. All in all, they were in and out after about an hour to cut out the drywall and treat the wood underneath. I came home from a trip to discover my downstairs had suffered damage from a nasty leak - soggy walls, soggy floors and everything.

Since I was a first time homeowner, I had no idea what to do in a situation like this. So I went on yelp and looked up the first result for drywall repair and serendipitously met Merco.

He and his guys started on work right away - tearing down affected drywall and drying it out to prevent mold.

Usually in situations like these, a lot of contractors would try to take advantage of me due to my homeownership naivety. But what really put my heart at ease is that Merco kindly walked me through how to navigate the insurance side of things.. and provided estimated breakdowns and gave the insurance his contact info so I could get my money's worth.

He and his crew finished up the leaked area and repaired it all in a manner of few days. And my insurance in the end said they would cover it.

It was a stressful ordeal but thanks to Merco he made it feel like nothing ever happened it all!

Great and honest people.

I had some water damage and contacted another company who quoted me $8000 to fix it. I decided to get a second opinion and I'm so glad I did.

Dry Pro told me that it'd be $250 to check it out, but when I told them details of my situation, they said that I should just save my $250 and gave me some steps I could do myself.

In the end they suggested I just leave things alone as they are, saving me a ton of money even though they could have easily done some unnecessary repairs. I'm glad I didn't need to use their services but I won't hesitate to if I ever need to.

Had a sewage leak and needed a bit of cleanup. Had a few companies out but ultimately selected Dry Pro. They showed up on time - were SUPER careful around the house, did the job efficiently and cleaned up (and even wiped down the floors so no dust or footprints). EXTREMELY FAIR PRICING (don't even ask what 'Dry Down Inc.' quoted -- those guys are criminals).  Merko is just a legend.

Merco was extremely quick to respond when we got in touch regarding water damage and mold from leaking faucets under two sinks.   Ours was not a huge job but he came in with a very fair estimate and was ready to schedule the work as soon as we were.  Tony and his crew were here for 2 1/2 days and did a great job.  Not only is Tony extremely knowledgeable about mold issues, carpentry, etc., but he is just a pleasure to work with.  Went above and beyond to make sure we were happy.

I would recommend them for any moisture mitigation job, and if I ever need to go through something like this again, they're who I'll turn to.

We encountered mold growth in our HVAC closet after a leak from our upstairs neighbors dripped down into our HVAC closet and surrounding area of a bathroom and bedroom.   I triple-bid the mold remediation project and had the most confidence and comfort level after meeting with Merco and reviewing his proposal for addressing the issue.  What I really appreciated was that his company would be able to complete the demo, remediation and build-back all under one-roof; some of the other contractors did not have the build-back capability, which meant I would need to manage multiple teams.  Merco's team worked quickly to repair all of the affected areas and took their time to get the job done right -- I mentioned to Merco that some of the door framing didn't feel 100% right when they put things back and he sent someone the very next day to get it completed to my satisfaction.  Really pleased with Merco and the team at Dry Pro.  I would hire them again without question for any future needs!

The job was well done. The mold problem was assessed, Merco recommended the best plan of action to tackle the issue, and they quickly finished the work as agreed. The questions I had throughout the process were courteously answered in full. Very happy with the outcome.

Honest, efficient, assessed the issues and quoted costs that met the needs of  the customer. Having received outrageously high estimates for unneeded work it was wonderful knowing Merco and his team had my best interests at heart! Problem solving, great work ethic and customer peace of mind prevailed!

No one ever wants to have to call Mirko, but when you need him you can always count on him for a prompt response. This time around, we had an issue with our guest bathroom.  The hose had come off the pump inside the toilet tank, so every time someone flushed-- the water spewed strongly upwards and out the back of the tank cover, going straight down the wall to the baseboard and then pooled on the floor.  

Unfortunately, no one noticed the issue for weeks so we needed to dry out the bathroom with fans and dehumidifiers before starting repair work.  Like last time, his team sealed off the space to contain the workspace.  Their work was seamless, and done within 3 days.  You'd never know anything was done.

Update on last year's job:  Mirko definitely stands by his completed work.  While his team was here working on my guest bathroom, I had mentioned that the ceiling work they did last year in the dining room had a few hairline cracks that appeared not too long after completion.  Mirko made sure that those were taken care of the very next day (patched, sanded and then entire ceiling re-painted)!

And lastly, I called Mirko AGAIN a week later about my pipes because I felt like their was an odd smell coming from our upstairs bathroom drains (paranoid of a repeat leak/ drain blockage).  Mirko came all the way back to my house with his camera to personally do the inspection himself.  No blockages, thank goodness.  He did point out some potential work that would eventually have to be done with the remaining original cast iron pipes, but assured me that it was not imminent and could wait until at least next year.  He did not charge me for that service call and told me he did it as a courtesy since I am a repeat/loyal customer.

Like I said, no one ever wants to have to call Mirko- but when you do, you can always count on him and his team for fast, reliable work-- at a more than fair price.  Very trustworthy!

Merco came out due to some mold that was found during our kitchen remodel. He was very honest and told us that the amount of mold we had wasn't a huge issue, that we could get rid of it ourselves using some store bought mold spray. While another business claimed they could get rid of the mold for $2700, he claimed it would be a big waste of money. He did recommend an air scraper that could help. And a few days later he offered to come back to do an air test to make sure the air quality was liveable. And when he did the reading, it was all green so it was considered safe to be around.  

We know they could have quoted us for a similar price as the others but they didn't want to rip us off or have that on their conscience, as much as they want to make money.

Where do I start? I woke up one morning , I noticed my carpets are wet and then I had a leak coming from the upstairs unit! I completely panicked and didn't know what to do. I found Dry pro on yelp and called him right away! Merco responded immediately and told me that he would come out the same day! Within hours, he was out at my unit inspecting the damage! He tested the water damage and told me everything that needed to be done and we began the restoration the next day!

His workers Tony and Javier were amazing! They always communicated what time they were coming and were always on time. They made sure to wear masks at all times and I felt very safe with social distancing and then being safe in my home. They were always very polite and made sure that everything was done perfectly! Any questions I had, they would answer no problem!!' They left my place very clean each day they came to work!!

My place is complete and it looks just as it did before I had any damage! I am really satisfied with everything and I highly recommend them! The condo unit above ours had a slow leak from a water line that required dry wall replacement in our bathroom. Marco was able to send a member of his team over the same day for an assessment, and in just a day or two they got to work. Full disclosure, I have HIGH expectations and am super picky, and Marco made sure his team completed everything to my satisfaction.

Appreciated their commitment to safety during COVID, and how they kept a messy job as clean as possible. Definitely recommend!

Construction in the time of Covid, very nerve wracking!  We had mold and a leak that messed up our big closet and master bathroom. Merco came out and looked at our damage and gave us a quick rundown, followed by a detailed invoice that I could send to my insurance.

In the end they treated our bathroom tile with a sealant, twice, they re-caulked the bathtub where the leak came from, twice! (meaning two layers) They did the whole demo, fans, air purifiers, and ripped out the carpet and moulding and the drywall in like two days.

We had three guys work on it, Jose, Leo, and Tony. When one guy sealed up the wall when we wanted to leave an access panel, the other guy cut it back out without a second thought. So they were very receptive to anything we were worried about or wanted slightly different.

They laid down paper from our front door to the closet and wore masks the entire time. It all came our great and we will also be following their advice on how to keep the caulk from  failing again!

Merco and his team are trustworthy professionals. My husband and I had a leak behind our shower. When I explained the damage to him and the suggestions we got from a plumber, he said that we didn't have to do all the work we were recommended. He immediately made an appointment to scope out the damage and provided us a very reasonable quote the next day.

Surprisingly, the other companies I called did not rebuild the walls they break down, requiring a separate contractor, or they didn't even pick up the phone! Merco picked up my call immediately and was a one-stop shop for the leak and water damage in our home. He's also very friendly, knowledgeable, professional, and reasonably priced.

Merco, thank you for taking the time to answer my questions and concerns I have about water damage mitigation/restoration with a contractor that I was referred to by a plumbing company but am not feeling comfortable with. I appreciate your open communication, transparency, time and integrity. If I had only done my research on Yelp first and after speaking with you rather than rely on a referral from a plumber, I would've chosen you for the the job instead.

GREAT all around, any time we have anything wrong in the future, they'll be the only people we call.  The bottom line is the before and after and you can't tell that we had to have a huge panel of dry wall cut out and replaced.

Okay...

We had a leak coming from our AC's condensation line, dripping through the boards to our drywall in our ceiling.  We called Dry Pro, my wife talked to Merco who was going through a family situation so Toni came out.  He was great, very professional.  

They taped-down paper over the walkways and they sealed-up the kitchen (like E.T.) with plastic and a zippered entryway as they cut out the old ceiling piece (about 4'x'7') and put the industrial fans on it to dry it out.

Then we called a plumber to get the line fixed and Dry Pro would have to come back when the plumber was finished. The plumber had to cut another line out of the sink from upstairs and they made a jagged pattern.

It was to be a two day patch then texture.  Day one; Dry Pro patched-up the kitchen and that mess of a hole in the bathroom sink wall area.

The only little snag was on day two when the (I think a subcontractor) who wouldn't wear a mask (during the pandemic) as many times as we kept asking him... and the same guy was to paint and do the texture to match our other ceiling.  The painting was great, no running edges, everything matched... but his texture work wasn't matching, you could see the line of where the patch was meeting the old ceiling.  He tried fixing it but it wasn't working so we said it was okay to take off.

Here's the great part... most companies would have been like screw it.  But, when we touched base with Toni, he really wanted us to be 100% happy and he didn't like that it didn't look perfect so he and a small army came out immediately and redid it and now it looks absolutely perfect.  You literally can't see where the edges meet.

I can't see enough about Toni, you can tell he takes a ton of pride in making sure the customer is happy.  I'm glad we found a go-to restoration company.

We moved to a new place and found that there are some water damage under the kitchen sink and tubs. Dry pro helped us to clean them up, restored the cabinets and installed the tub. We are very happy with the results. Dry pro is responsive, professional, and reliable. They even went beyond and fixed a pipe leakage in crawl space without additional charge. I will definitely use their service again if needed and recommend their business to others.

These guys were awesome from my very first conversation with Merco. Excellent communication about ETAs and Tony Estrada, who did the work at my home, was so meticulous and thorough. You know a job is going to be done well when the person who arrives at your door literally smells clean! I'm not Joe Biden but I can smell people - it's kind of a curse having this sense of smell - and I knew my mold remediation was going to end well when Tony came armed with plastic (as requested), booties, etc.

Absolutely satisfied with the quality of work and service from Merco and his team. We had an unfortunate leak from a common pipe between our and our neighbor's unit (townhome) that led to mold developing on the drywall in the electrical utility closet between our units, and in my neighbor's garage wall.

We obtained 3 quotes, and DryPro was by far the most competitive and even included rebuilding of the drywall that would need to be opened/removed in the estimate. Merco scheduled an in-person consultation promptly, provided the cost estimate quickly, and his team got to work and finished the job in just a few days. He was consistently available by text or phone to answer questions, provide updates, and discuss work progress. To top it off, his team even closed, re-stucco'd and repainted a part of our exterior wall that the plumbers had to open up to replace the leaking pipe (this hole was not made during the mold remediation work by DryPro and thus was not their responsibility), and did this without any additional cost.

Took twice as long to complete the job as originally quoted. But well worth the wait. Work looks amazing.

I called Merko to help with water (and possibly mold) remediation after our hot water heater flooded our neighbor's unit.  He answered right away and squeezed us in his tight schedule.  He came in and was super knowledgable - not just about the job but about how the insurance process would look like.

We live in a very old building and he knew that we would have to get lead and asbestos testing so he connected us with someone right away.  Once the unit was cleared, his team came in to do work.

I cannot say enough about how happy we are with these guys. We were shocked and scared when, during quarantine, we found a slow leak above our dining room. Making matters much worse, when the plumber opened up the ceiling he found extensive black mold. I had a suspicion for several months that there was something in our home that was causing me to wake up every day with a cough and congestion and occasional headaches. My hope was that the newly discovered mold was the culprit.

He confirmed that my symptoms were in line with the reaction mold causes. This gave me a sense of relief and hope that these symptoms might go away. More on that below.

You can imagine the disruption this whole ordeal wrought on our lives while also living in quarantine. We have two small daughters and we were very nervous. Merko and his crew were very sensitive to this. We were blown away at how clean everything was throughout the whole process, which took about 6 days. They were on time and communicative every step of the way.

Day One - visual inspection, closed off the entire area with plastic to contain everything. Mold removal. Then industrial air purifier and dryer were left inside the area for round the clock, complete drying and purification. We were told that we needed to let this process happen for a minimum of two days.

Day Two - continued drying and purification. (No workers present) Note: this was the first day in more than 6 months that I woke up in my own home without a cough or congestion which I now realize was due to mold!! Hooray!!

Day Three - continued drying and purification. (No workers present) No allergies present either!

Day Four - Merko personally came out to test air quality and do all inspections. His digital air purity reader registered no lingering mold. He called in his crew to close up the whole in the ceiling and bring everything back to normal - including finishing elements like drywall and paint.

Day Five - Merko came in for final inspection. We were happy with the work but, here's the kicker... Merko felt it could be done better and, at his own expense, brought the painter back to make everything like normal again. I was blown away at his honesty and integrity to deliver a job perfectly done.

Day Six - Sure enough, his painter arrived and redid the finishing work. It looks great and we could NOT BE HAPPIER!

I had some issues with my contractor and Dry Pro made things much better - it was like night and day compared to my contractor. My contractor tried charging me $9,550 for a job that Dry Pro did for less than half with way better service. On top of that, Dry Pro remediated my bedroom and replaced all the drywall in my bathroom. The $9,550 from previous contractor only covered bathroom remediation and taking away 3 feet of drywall. The Details of It All: After experiencing excruciating headaches, chest pain, wheezing and pain in my lower gut for several months in addition to going to several different doctors who were unable to diagnose the cause of my symptoms, I had a friend suggest a possible mold infestation.  There were some leaks in the roof that happened last year, so while the thought did not cross my mind that mold could cause my symptoms, having a possible mold infestation was not a crazy idea.  In an attempt to grab samples of dust to run an at-home mold test, I stuck my head up into the skylight cavity in my bedroom.  As my eyes peered over the cased edge, I was greeted by a very thick layer of mold growing around the interior perimeter at the base of the skylight.  Helllloooooo, Mold!  Needless to say, I had a problem...a very moldy one.

After researching six different companies that handled mold remediation and contacting several to discuss the situation at hand, Merco at DryPro promptly responded and treated the situation with immediacy and class.  He came to the house to take a look to see if he could be of service and graciously answered a long list of questions I had in regards to mold, cleaning, the safety of the products they use, timeline and procedure.  Based upon the quotes received, Merco's thorough procedure, quality & safety of products and knowledge of mold are what made DryPro the for sure choice.

Merco and his team came in and did a full day's work of removing the mold, fogging, and cleaning the vents to the HVAC system.  Care was utilized in protecting all furnishings, clothes and other belongings during the process.  The shower tiles in my bathroom were even thoroughly cleaned to make sure there was no mold left in my space.  When I came back to my place, I immediately noticed a difference in the air quality.  I no longer experienced wheezing in my chest when I entered my room, which I was and still am extremely grateful for.  My sleep quality has increased for the better, and I no longer wake up in the morning with an excruciating headache.  In addition, my lower gut has mellowed out...amazingly enough.

Mold is a very serious issue.  While some professionals may think mold is not a major concern, it is.  If you are looking for a professional team to give you back the quality of life you deserve, I highly recommend Merco and the DryPro team.  It is hard to find people who are as professional, patient, thorough and willing to honestly answer any and all questions you have; however, they exist with DryPro.

The good:  
Merco is quick to respond and follows through with what he says he will do.  I appreciate the fact that communication with him was consistent and he would answer any questions I had.  He was also extremely helpful with the whole insurance process.
The repairs for the broken pipes in my house were taken care of quickly, and I am happy with how my kitchen and bathroom look now.

The bad:
The only reason why I cannot give 5 stars is because of the extremely frustrating and drawn out process of dealing with the subcontractor workers.  They hardly ever showed up on time, being hours late, and there were some times where they did not show up at all.  To be fair, the reason for the delay was due to COVID-19 on two occasions, and I have absolutely no issue with that whatsoever; however, that was not the case every other time.

Recommendation:
Merco is great with the process and the job will get done, but if you notice inconsistencies with the subcontractor workers, be sure to contact Merco directly right away to let him know what is going on so that he can help resolve the issue.

I had a great experience with Merco and his team at Dry Pro. They repaired my water damage in the living room and redid the waterproofing on the exterior of my house as well.

Merco came out to my house quickly and was able to rapidly assess what was going on with the water situation. At my home there was an exterior siding board that was soaking up water from a broken sprinkler pipe, and that had basically sucked water into the living room through the drywall, molding, and carpet.

Merco's team was able to tackle the interior water damage as well as rework the exterior of the house so that it was properly waterproofed and wouldn't leak again. A few other companies that I spoke to were not willing to fix the root of the problem on the exterior of the house.

It was really great that they were able to dry and treat the water damaged areas as well as do the reconstruction! Most other companies simply do the deconstruction and then leave you searching for another contractor to put things back together -- Dry Pro did a great job on my drywall and paint, and even found a match for my unusual baseboards.

Once I got in touch with Merco, everything went really quickly. He met me one day, had his team there the next morning sealing off the space and doing mold treatment, and finished the reconstruction in time for the holiday weekend. It was great to have the house dried out and back together in time for Labor Day -- ahead of schedule.

Merco is super responsive and made me feel very comfortable. He took a crummy water damage situation and made me feel confident it would be resolved -- and then his team delivered.

I had a slab leak and the nightmare that followed was unsettling. My trusted plumber referred me to his overly eager restoration guy who was ultra pushy about unloading his equipment right there and then and getting the dry out process started. That was before I even heard back from my insurance company or the leak detector had pin pointed the source of my leak. I've never gone through this ordeal before and wasn't sure about the process or steps to take. I decided to look someone up on yelp and Dry Pro stood out with the great reviews and ratings.

Merco was super nice, punctual, professional and thorough; he didn't just go through motions with his sensors etc, he dug deeper and looked in places that the leak detector, two plumbers and even my Insurance adjustor didn't think to look! He located moisture in the wall behind my custom in-built closet and some warping on the base, which led us to added moisture and hidden mold that could have been easily missed. If that wasn't caught, I would have just dried out the area, fixed the plumbing and the floors while the unseen mold continued to creep and grow!!! Ewww!

We had moisture coming in from the ground under crawl space. They found the source at the area drain disconnect with a scope, did sleeve repair under concrete within a 1x3-ft area, he treated the entire crawl space ( other companies quoted just to treat specific area), and gave us a detailed plan and estimate of work to be done.

Did some great work on a big tough job!
Dry Pro was recommended to me by my Realtor, Pardee Properties, who uses them a lot for property inspections, etc...  So when a backup of the outgoing pipe problem reared up I gave them a call.  They got the job done well and the concrete was neat and smooth.

They had to work when it was raining and had a close call when a tree fell and almost hit them, but they still got everything done.

Merco was good about keeping me informed on the progress and there were minimal interruptions to my schedule.  He was able to work around my work hours which was great because I was very busy.

I can't speak highly enough of Merco and the Dry Pro Restoration team. I had a leaky in-wall air conditioner that caused the surrounding wall to develop black mold (the scary kind). My husband and I had an unfortunate incident of a water leak last week in our garage that was caused by an old dishwasher that had a specific part that wasn't replaced properly by the previous home owner.

We were very concerned about the damage and possible mold growth especially since we were expecting our first baby. My husband found Dry Pro on yelp which had impressive reviews.

I called and talked to Merco. He was able to come the next day for a free estimate. He was very professional, courteous, reliable, and punctual. He would always text when he's on his way. He explained the extent of the damage, assessed it by using thermal imaging camera, and told us the cost of water restoration and mold prevention. No hidden fees here! I liked the fact that he took off his shoes and brought booties since we have brand new carpet.

Merco and his staff returned the following day. They contained the area in the kitchen, sprayed the anti-mold product in the cabinet and used the dehumidifiers. It took 2.5 days to dry everything out.

After everything was done, he showed me the results by using the thermal imaging camera, the mold particulate sensor machine, and even checked for carbon monoxide since I expressed concern that one of our alarms were beeping. The area was dry and no mold or carbon monoxide detected :) Being an anxious mom-to-be he was very patient with answering all of my questions and concerns.  All in all I would definitely recommend Dry Pro! We were happy with their service!

We were in the middle of a project in our kitchen after a burst drain pipe had flooded and caused damage.  After several weeks and several companies assessing the damage, no one was able to give us a definitive answer regarding the presence of mold and/or moisture behind our cabinets.  We decided to call Dry Pro.  Merco answered immediately, came out quickly, used his own equipment to assess the situation and assured us there was no mold or moisture remaining.  He was quick, honest, and very easy to work with.  His honest opinion was incredibly helpful in the midst of many other companies vying for our (insurance covered) business and being vague about the amount of possible damage. We are very grateful, and recommend him highly.

After the really big rain storms which took place in early 2017, I was starting to work on some house projects such as painting.  I took down a canvas piece and behind on the wall was MOLD!  I couldn't believe it, plus I always knew there was an odor but I figured maybe it's just the wooden floors perhaps.  Little did I knew...

I had a few companies come and give an estimate.  First one was Dry Pro Restoration when Merco arrived, he was very nice and had a pleasant energy to him.  We walked around the property and when he saw the room that was definitely effected, you can tell he was really into his profession.

He took out his UV-Ray (more or less) type of device to show moisture happening through the wall.  Sure enough, exactly where the mold was growing, it was dark blue.  other parts where lighter but it was very obvious that room/wall was effected.  He did this on the house actually as they usually charge around $250 just to X-ray the walls.  He did scan another area of the house where water did leak inside and showed dry.

What's interesting is the other companies came and kept saying all this stuff about awards they won, he even brought a friend with and they were joking around and I am standing there like, can I get an estimate please? Point is, everything was $$$$ with the other companies and when the other companies did the UV-Ray (asked to do at least 1 room) he said he found moisture randomly EVERYWHERE, I was like so the whole house is effected or what?!

I totally smelled a used car salesmen on this guy and was like no way man.  Third proposal came and it was similar so I figured let's work with Dry Pro Restoration.  I negotiated with him and he was fair with the rate.  After a giant storm came he officially did each and every room and you can really tell the difference because it was 100% accurate there was a problem!  That's when I decided to go with Merco.  He was on time, his workers did a great job and they do before and after pictures showing proof was the deal is and what they did.

After he was done, you can totally smell the freshness.  What I was smelling was all the pores and unfortunately I had someone staying in that room and they kept getting sinus issues.  I would definitely recommend Merco and his company because they do solid work, there is no BS, the remove the mold, sanitize, and create a healthy natural environment back in your home to enjoy.

I found Dry Pro here on a Yelp and called for an estimate to take care of a mold issue in our crawl space under the house caused my a refrigerator supply line leak.  I choose them based on the competitive price and their ability to start right away.

Merco's crew were very professional and maintained a clean and safe work environment.  Independent 3rd party testing of the space once the remediation was complete confirmed that the mold was gone.  

It's always difficult to know who to hire when you have a unique, unfamiliar problem like this one. Glad to have found Dry Pro.

We had a company come last week to deal with termites in our garage. When we moved things out of the way, we saw a lot of black mold and moisture. Going on positive Yelp reviews, I called Dry Pro. Merco responded right away and quickly came out to assess the damage and the work required. He told me, drew up a contract, and the next day, two of his crew came to do the work. They took out the moldy drywall. When they removed it, they saw that the the bottom of one of the garage walls had deteriorated badly. The men thought that repairing and waterproofing the area was critical to avoid further problems. We agreed to do it, and Merco quickly drew up a contract for the work.

The men came back yesterday to do the work. They repaired the cement and stucco and waterproofed both inside and out. They also dug a trench to guide water away from the building. The men were super thorough and super fast (they finished in a day).

Throughout the process, Merco and his team clearly explained the steps they took and the reasons for doing them. His team is punctual, and they did a great job on cleanup. As far as the costs, Merco kept to the estimates he sent.  

I cannot recommend Dry Pro strongly enough. I would hire them again in a heartbeat.

I found DryPro on Yelp.  I had a 10-year wet drywall problem behind the toilet that I never got around to fixing.  I called, talked to Merco, made an appointment and he came out to assess the situation.  He brought all kinds of cool gadgets and tested for wetness.  He figured out the problem right away (bad wax ring at the base of the toilet) and he gave me a quote that seemed reasonable to me.  I did not bother getting another estimate due to time constraints and I just didn't feel it was necessary.  Two guys (Tony and Leo) came out to cut open the drywall and remove the toilet.  They found the problem was indeed a worn out wax ring at the base of the toilet.  They set up a machine that dried out the area.  Tony did a beautiful job of fixing the drywall, adding texture to match the wall and painting the wall and adding baseboard, installing a new wax ring and then setting the toilet.  However he discovered that the toilet could not be bolted down properly due to a corroded flange.  Merco gave me a quote for fixing the flange which involved jackhammering and putting in a new pipe and flange.  However, when his wonderful guys Jose and Josue looked closer at the flange, they realized they would be able to add an extension to it that would not damage to the bathroom floor and would require much less work.  They did a beautiful job fixing the flange.  A slight hiccup occurred because of price.  I thought the price Merco gave me for fixing the flange was too high but we negotiated and he lowered it and I AM HAPPY.  I love the wall behind my toilet.  It's now my favorite part of my bathroom.

I went with Dry Pro although other quotes for service was cheaper because Merco and his staff seemed more experienced and they were.

They came out the same day I called. Did the hydro-jetting, thermo reading for any compromised wall or floorings and gave valuable advice/tips on maintaining the house hold. They suggested some upgrades but were not pushy and actually said to not pursue if everything worked fine. After the kitchen grease line was cleared, I ran all faucets with hot water and the washer machine and everything drained as quickly as you could imagine.  Save yourself some time and just go with the pros. Dry Pro is the way to go!

Merco was great! I called him about a possible Mold issue and a clogged drain. My kitchen sink had been backed up & not draining for 2-3 days. It was getting pretty nasty. I couldn't make it work schedule wise for him to come by to snake it, so he ended up fixing it over the phone (SKILLS!!). He walked me through the steps & it worked like magic! Mind you, I had tried all the baking soda & vinegar tricks the internet suggested.
Today, he came for the mold inspection & swiftly did the readings to determine whether our air was clean or not. He used a particle reader and thermo-camera. Tbh, at first the mold inspection price seemed a bit high to me, BUT if you check the competition, it's actually incredibly low & very competitive for the value provided. You won't find a price like that anywhere else. Plus I got the free drain repair. Would recommend & hire again!

After smelling mold for months and having two restoration companies come out and evaluate moisture levels in 3 different walls that were not even related to the problem, along with being quoted over $3500 for restoration work that wouldn't have fixed our problem (and that's without another $5000 that would likely be needed to reconstruct ), we finally did some self-diagnosing and decided to find yet another restoration company.  That's when we got in contact with Merco.  

Merco quickly came out, diagnosed our problem, and showed us moisture levels through a hand-held video screen, further supported by moisture readings he directly took on the wall, showing 99% saturation levels.  His team quickly got to work that same day, set up an incubation area, and tore out the wall.   As you can see from the photos, we had a pipe leaking behind our bathroom vanity, that soaked the bottom half of the wall.  They wiped, sanitized, vaccumed, and then fanned down the wall, followed by providing the necessary reconstruction of the wall, which came out just beautifully!  You can't even tell that we ever had a leak (good as new!).

Lastly, Merco was so easy-going throughout the entire process.  I'm quite the perfectionist when it comes to other people working on my house, and yet, he was patient with me through it all, and communicated with me every step of the way.  Of course, I hope I never have a major leak in the walls again, but if I ever do, I won't be looking anywhere else!  Merco is the man! And affordably priced too!

I'm going to begin my review with the closing:  Dry Pro Restoration work was outstanding and will use them again and again for future jobs. Merco and Tony are the absolute best !! Ok.. let's tell my story.  During the heavy rains in February 2020, we had an unknown skylight leak where water was running down the walls from the 2nd story to the 1st story master bathroom. Water ultimately saturated the dry wall and floor area behind the custom cabinets and marble bathtub enclosure. We didn't notice this until a almost two months later when the mold smell began to appear. We contacted Merco at Dry Pro and he came out for an inspection using a thermal camera and other devices.  He showed me where the walls where still moist. I had this vision of needing to rip out all of the cabinets, marble floor and bathtub at a tremendous cost. Merco said that we didn't need to rip anything out but would drill some holes in the drywall and pump Goldmorr fogging solution to remediate the mold. Additionally, replace any drywall that was damaged.  I felt very comfortable with Merco's recommendation as he explained the process in more detail and provided with me lots of reading material on how the Goldmorr process works.  As others have mentioned, Merco is a kind, knowledgeable and compassionate person. I had complete faith in him taking care of my issue and that he did.. and more.  I was so impressed with Merco and Tony as they worked, I asked him for do additional projects in my home. The next job was to rebuild the bottom of base cabinet in the kitchen (that had water damage but no mold from many years ago).   Tony completed this as the dryer fans were doing their job in the master bath. Well, after a few days, all the mold smell from the bathroom had completely disappeared and has not come back !   I questioned Merco if he could recommend someone to refinish all my kitchen cabinets as the sun had damaged/cracked the protected finish. We have several large skylights in this area with direct sourcing of UV Light shinning down. These cabinets are solid wood and have clear lacquer coating.  Merco replied, we can do that.  He quoted me a fair price and I said Let' do it.  Tony came back again to do the project. He spent hours and hours working as a craftsman removing doors, taking them outside, sanded each one to the bare wood then spraying them with lacquer.  The job took 5 days. I have attached a few pictures here of the finished product (wish I had taken before photos as you could appreciate how much work was done).  The cabinets look fantastic and I could not have been more pleased. One doesn't know true frustration until you've dealt with an incompetent HOA board. Thankfully, Dry Pro came to my rescue and was able to start the restoration process quickly and efficiently.

I'd reached out to a few companies and was given the run around about how long the work would take. When I first gave the Dry Pro team a call, Merco was able to swing by and take a look at my issue that same day -- for free! He even gave advice on how to best handle dealing with my insurance. My ceiling is now fixed and looks just as great as it did before.

All three provided excellent customer service and Tony and Robert were efficient, thorough, safe, respectful of property and even cleaned up the area to leave everything spotless. The quality of the work he did for us was excellent. The service and level of care Merco exhibited, was far above other contractors I've worked with and experienced. He also came back to the job to help tie a problematic loose end (when he didn't have to). Also, he didn't try to prescribe a bunch of unnecessary work (costing an extra 7k) like a couple others did.

We had a shower pan replaced, redone, with hot Mop and all that. Had a minor amount of mold removed. Also had a large area of wall replaced.

AMAZING company, service, communication, and schedule adherence! First, the technician responded immediately and easily scheduled to go our and see the house the following day. Beyond fast. My husband and I were doing some little home renovations and in the process of removing a small half wall between our kitchen and living room we found found mold. I immediately began searching for someone to take a look and remove the mold. We had about 4 companies come out, take a look and give us quotes. Before Merco even came out to the house he was texting with me and getting details about what we found. Once he arrived he explained what he recommended and sent a quote (which was very competitive with other companies I had gotten quotes from) and his certification and liability insurance info. We recently discovered some musty smell coming from our bathroom that was different from the usual bathroom odors. We had developed a huge wall leak that turned into a huge mold problem in our master bathroom, Merco and his team came in and saved us.  He was extremely communicative, transparent with information and explanations of what was going on and how long it would take.  He was personable, honest, and delivered exactly what they told us we were going to get.  He easily laid all our worries about hiring a restoration guy for the first time, to rest.

I'd give 10 stars if I could. This was a fast and seamless process. Just last week, I discovered that some mold had developed under my kitchen sink from an old leak. On Friday, I contacted two companies that had excellent Yelp reviews and had them come out for an estimate. One presented a scary scenario of hazmat suits and predictions of widespread damage, even potentially to the neighbor's condo. Mind you, it was maybe a 1 x1 swatch of mold was all that was visible. The price quoted was astronomical as was the predicted time frame to treat (up to 5 days, if I recall correctly).

Then Merco arrived. He immediately eased my concerns, gave me a fair quote on price and time. He and his crew were able to come out today. They addressed the problem quickly treating the very small area of mold, removed the old warped cabinet floor and replaced it with plywood. They painted in cabinet interior and were done within 3 hours! I was amazed given the predictions of gloom and doom I was provided by the other company. I highly recommend Dry Pro and Merco.

We were preparing to sell a home that had we discovered had mold in and around the water heater, the laundry area and the kitchen.  Merco came out and gave us a comprehensive quote and timeline for the remediation and repairs. (Note: Many places will only quote the mold part and then you have to find a contractor to repair the wood/walls -- Dry Pro does it all, end to end)  

The crew started the work a couple days later and had it done in a few days.   The work was well done and cleanup was top shelf.

Merco and his crew were amazing.  He saved me a lot of money.  There were no hidden charges. We had mold kind of everywhere.  He did not charge me extra when found more mold at other areas while during remediation.  Others wanted to charge per area and even more if found elsewhere.  I am glad I found Merco.  I highly recommend his crew.

Merco was so nice to stop by and did not charge me extra for using his thermal machine to make sure all mold issue has been cleaned up. We can all sleep better now.

I suspected mold in my bedroom and hired a company to do the lab report. Once I received the report, they gave me a basic recommendation. I reached out to several companies to give me a quote. Marco was the only one who told me the truth and said you can get by without doing anything because the mold count is very very minimal and more on the normal side. We had an urgent pipe leak and mold issue that needed to be remediated quickly and Merco and his team were unbelievable. His customer service is top notch. He got in immediately and ripped out the damage, dried it all out and fixed it all. He worked with our insurance and helped us along the way. I was so nervous and he eased my anxieties about the process. If I could give him 100 stars I would. He is the best at what he does and you will not regret calling him. Call him now!!!

These guys are awesome! I had a malfunctioning washing machine that caused a leak in my kitchen and bathroom. Merco, the owner, was super responsive when I first called and he was over the next day to inspect the damage. I really appreciated how he walked me through the entire process and even worked with my insurance adjuster. Long story, short - the guys got rid of all the mold and reconstructed my home to my high standards. Merco was always accessible and even came by a couple of times to check on the progress. Needless to say (and knock on wood), if I ever have another issue, Dry Pro will be the first ones I call!

Merco and his team did a fabulous job. I just purchased a new condo and the inspector found a moist area in the hardwood that tested positive for mold. Merco was incredibly helpful in trying to determine where the source of water was and his team including Tony waited for me for almost an hour while I was stuck in traffic. I told them I wanted to be able to see the work for myself and they waited patiently for me to arrive and explained everything to me including what had already been accomplished and how the chemical fog would work. Dry Pro Drain did a fantastic job on my property. They were careful, detailed and neat. They repaired bathroom water damage and they did great work.

I had a dishwasher that leaked only to find out when my replacement dishwasher arrived, there was water damage and mold. I had several restoration companies come out to give an estimate. I was extremely worried about the cost and saving as much as my kitchen cabinets and countertops since I just had my kitchen redone 5 years ago. Merco with dry pro restoration was the ONLY company that said my countertops could be saved by supporting them with wood while the restoration occurred. Merco and all his employees were extremely professional and respectful especially during COVID. Whole job was completed in 3 days and I am happy. They were reasonably priced, addressed any concerns I had immediately and did the job well. I would recommend this company to anyone. I hope I never have to deal with something like this again but if I do, this is the company I will call.

If I could give them 6 stars, I would! They did an excellent job with a reasonable price and did the job quick. They were accommodating to my schedule and quickly fixed the water damage, replaced the dry wall, resealed the foundation wall paint, and swept and cleaned up everything.

By far the nicest, caring and most professional people I've had the pleasure of working with. The piping in my walls had a sudden burst & my poor kitchen was flooded. From the moment I called they were at my door within 20 minutes fixing the problem. Came back each day and did tremendous work in a timely manner. Within two days the mess was clean, pipping fixed and presented after math solutions to get my place back to normal. Worked with my homeowners insurance and was even there to speak to the field adjuster to specifically tell them all that was wrong. Merco was very comforting and friendly. If ANYONE has a plumbing type issue and needs immediate service that's reliable it's with Dry Pro Restoration.

Merco and his crew just finished a 2 week job at our house. We had a couple
water leakage issues that he looked at, diagnosed, and worked on. The biggest issue
was a water leak into a room from a balcony above. Merco's team detected how
the water was getting in and fixed the problem as well as the damage to the
wood and drywall in the room. We ended up having Merco work on the entire balcony which consisted of demo-ing the previous tile and then his team hot mopped, laid concrete,
and installed new tile. We are happy with the job Merco's team did and look forward to this water issue not being a problem again.
A note on Merco and his team. Merco came by the same day we called him to check out the issue/damage and by that evening we had his bid. He visited the job site nearly every day to check on the progress and was always available by phone to discuss any questions or concerns we had. Merco's crew member leading our job was Oscar. Oscar is a hard worker
and cares about the work he is doing. The team was neat, polite and conscientious.
Overall, we are very happy with the work Dry Pro provided and would definitely use them again.

Merco and his team are the absolute best to work with. My neighbor's water heater had a leak which caused damage to both of our units. Merco and his team came out within a day, assessed the damage on both sides, and quoted us an amazing price. His team worked around both of our schedules and this crazy situation was over before we knew it. Honestly after Dry Pro finished my vanity cabinet, it looked even better with reinforced wood and a fresh coat of paint. Fantastic service! Five stars in every category: A) cost B) speed C) efficiency D) knowledge and E) empathy. Having toxic mold in your house is scary. I know, I've gone through this twice with two homes. Sickness permeates your family and you are left feeling unsafe in your own house.
Merco came and quickly assessed the situation with his particle counter and his cameras. He knocked out all the mold in one day and then carefully rebuilt my ceiling and closet as if nothing had happened. He worked around our schedule, was prompt and informative.
The thing I liked the most was the way he didn't over complicate the situation. Too often these mold removal companies attempt to overcomplicate things and over charge. Not these guys. Merco tested, remediated and repaired in one quick two day process.

Marco was very helpful and informative while he discussed the matter happening at our home. He reviewed the photos we had sent, and also gave a very honest evaluation of the situation, and what would be our best course of action. It is apparent that he does not seek to gain money, but rather would like to assist and quickly solve the problem efficiently- a quality not seen in many companies these days. We had a mold issue between the walls of our bathroom and one of the bedrooms.  The tile around the tub had developed a leak, and unfortunately water seeped in and mold started to grow.  Not a good situation.  :(  It was time to get this problem fixed before it got even worse!

After calling a few companies that do mold remediation, I decided to go with Merco and Dry Pro.  Merco came out quickly, reviewed the situation, and gave us a very reasonable bid for clean up and restoration.  His bid was actually significantly cheaper than the two other companies who also came out.  

The next week Merco and his crew got busy on the job.  The guys were friendly and professional, and Merco checked in with us each day to inspect the work and answer any of our questions.  Within three days the mold was cleaned up, the bedroom wall was repaired, and the leaky bathroom tile was repaired.   I was really impressed how the guys went the extra mile to make sure that bathroom and bedroom were not only mold free, but that the  reconstruction work was done to very high standards.  For a few extra bucks, the guys even painted the entire bedroom and redid the grout around the tub and shower.  Not only is the house now mold free, the bedroom and bathroom look better than they have in years!   I am very satisfied with the quality of the work.

I can't be more positive about our experiences with this company. We have used them on several occasions. And why wouldn't you?  They are responsive, fast-acting, knowledgeable and nice. We work with Mirko who is terrific. From leaky faucets and a blown water heater that included restorative drying and repair to the house, these guys can do it all. One stop shop.

I retained Dry Pro to do a sewer line camera inspection for one of my buyer clients for a home we have in escrow.  After checking around at other 5 star providers of this service, Dry Pro was the most responsive AND, was much more reasonable in price for the same services their competition is providing (half the cost of most of the competition).  The technician showed up early for the appointment and walked my client through the entire process.  Along with their report, they also provided a link to a secure video on YouTube of the inspection (very helpful).

It's very difficult and rare in this business to come across someone you can trust. In fact, it's so rare that when you do, it's hard to believe. We are so so so so thankful to have found Merco.

My wife and I were concerned after receiving a mold report on a home we were buying; the other mold remediation company said that we basically needed to put the house into a bubble for a few days minimum and spend a few grand that we didn't have to eliminate the mold.  Merco came right away to inspect it for us, saying, Uh, no.... This is no big deal at all.... and saved us big time! HUGE HUGE HUGE.  He absolutely won our business for the future and long haul. SO SO SO SO SO APPRECIATIVE FOR THIS RARE GIFT OF MERCO.

Have had serious respiratory problems for the last 3 years.  After myriad medical tests and home inspections, it was suspected that mold might be causing them.  The likely areas with mold were under the sinks in the master bath and the kitchen and possibly behind the dish washer.  Contacted 3 companies for mold remediation that were recommended on Yelp and nextdoor.com.  Of the 3, Dry Pro was the only one that didn't suggest that we would have to replace our cabinets and counters.  The estimate seemed reasonable so we hired Dry Pro.  The crew was on time and the workmanship very good.  They demo'd the floor of the cabinets, sanitized underneath and rebuilt them.   I'm not convinced that the fogging technology that Dry Pro used to kill mold is particularly effective (dead mold is just as harmful as live mold) but we felt no negative effects from it and that we would have no recourse if mold reappeared and we hadn't gone with the recommendation to use it.  The most important thing to do in mold remediation is to remove the contaminated material which Dry Pro did. Merco was very personable and responsive.  It will likely be several months before I can determine if the mold remediation has made a difference in my health.  If you think you have mold, suggest that your first step be to hire a mold remediation company.  We spent several thousands of dollars on testing that did nothing to solve the problem.

True story: I had three well-conceived negative paragraphs about the doldrums of burst pipes and cruddy contractor bids, but I scrapped them. Why? Because of Merco and crew, that's why. Let's focus on the positive...

I had one main concern with the restoration and that was preserving the existing cabinets and granite counters. Servpro swore up and down it could not be done. A local kitchen and bath remodel yokel said it could not be done. Merco said, no problem!

Do you know what? It wasn't a problem. All of my finishes, sans a 24 piece of cabinet molding, is my original finish. The replacement is a fine match. The crew who replaced the drywall and rehung the cabinets was highly concerned with the quality of the their work and with my happiness.

Dry Pro Restoration did a great job remediating mold around my air exchange unit. The quote process was fast and clear. The workers that did the work were prompt and clearly explained the work and precautions they would take. Throughout the process the people I interacted with were professional.

I sure wished I was in his service area.....I had water under my home from three big rain falls. I called Merco to see if his company could dry my crawl space out,  but since I was out of his service area he couldn't send a team down to do the work. He none-the less spent time with me on the phone and gave me options. He was prompt, friendly and easily understandable.
I ended up having the drying out procedure done with another company that was in my area and I definitely was not satisfied.
A month later I called Merco again for advice and information, since he was so nice from my previous call.  He explained what should have been done and gave me options to finish the work. I really appreciated the time and expertise he gave to me even though I never was able to hire him.

My washing machine flooded my laundry room, part of my kitchen, and part of my dining room on a Monday night.  My girlfriend found these guys the very next morning and they were at my place Tuesday morning without having a prior appointment or anything.  Merco called me, let me know that he was in the area and that he could come and stop by to check out the damage and what not.  I have hardwood floors so I was hoping that this could be salvaged.  Merco took a look with his thermal-vision (or whatever it's called) camera and let me see where there was humidity.

They did their work, dried the floor, cut out the dry wall that needed to be cut, replaced it, replaced the base boards and quarter rounds, and all seems to be well.  Merco was very very professional, very nice and courteous.  His guys Tony and Leo were also very very cool guys who did their job excellently.

One of the best experiences I had working with a contractor. Mirko is very attentive, professional and responsive. He explains everything and reasonable with all estimates. I know it is difficult to find a trusted contractor, but luckily I was able to find Dry Pro Restoration and will definitely use this team for any future issues with leaks and water damages.

Once again Mirko and his team came out last minute to fix my toilet Josue also noticed my sink was draining the water very slow so he took that apart and cleaned out all the hair that had got stuck in there.   He didn't need to do that but I am very happy he did my water is now running prefect

I hired Merco to do a mold removal job after a kitchen teardown. He gave me a fair estimate and had the job done on time. He did the job with the minimal amount of drywall removal.
He made sure to seal of the kitchen from the rest of the house, which was a major concern, since we have a toddler.

Dry Pro Restoration and Drain are fantastic. Merco, the owner, took my call at 7:30 at night. Then he walked me through a whole bunch of steps on the phone to help narrow down the problem -- and to make sure there was a problem before I started spending money. He and his crew showed up the next day, went under the house, and explained to me that the bad smell I had complained about was not mold, but rather a leak, and that I did not need their services, but rather a plumber. I've never met a contractor or vendor who said don't give me money, you don't need us -- the prior mold company wanted $600 just to investigate! Merco then connected me with a plumber, who had a fair bid (less than the other one I called). The plumbers did the work, and Merco kept checking in with them and with me to make sure we were all on the same page -- long story short he acted as the contractor and followed up even though he was not getting paid. As you know, most contractors, plumbers, etc.. never return calls, Merco returned every call and text asap. He truly cares. After the plumbing work, even though Merco said Don't waste your money we still did some mold prevention to ease our own concerns, and again, his bid was 1/2 of the other people who wanted money to just investigate. And today, just because he knows my wife is so worried about mold, and while his job is over and there's no mold, he sent a worker over to add more crystals just to ease my wife's nerves. Long story short, great company, great service, great price, and Merco truly cares. I don't have any affiliation with these guys, just super stoked I found them vis a vis google search.
