We recently moved and had a couple of leaks that needed repair. New to the area I googled several plumbers and am glad I came across Valley United Plumbing. Cristian came out that week and was very professional. He knows his stuff. He gave us an estimate and explained what needed to be done. He did great work replacing our outside pipe faucet, 2 bathroom faucets, and fixing our bathtub faucet that was leaking.

Honest affordable professional service, fast and on time for both appointments. Communication was great, they addressed all my concerns. I highly recommend Valley United Plumbing.

My water heater started leaking so I called Sam at Valley United. Next day he sent Christian to check it out. Christian showed up on time, diagnosed the issue and gave me a reasonable quote. Having used Valley Plumbing before, I know the work is top notch & they stand behind their work. I agreed to the price and my water heater was fixed. No mess, no hassle. No more cold showers lol. Thank you, guys! The best plumbing service in the Valley!

Worked with them a few times, the owner simple rejected our requests twice. He told me because he didn't want to work at the property anymore. It is an old house with issues that need to be fixed. Simply rejecting customers is very disappointing and unprofessional. Giving 3 stars instead of 2 at least the owner of the business cares

Christian came out within 30 minutes and fixed the leak in the attic for the overhead shower pipe.  Christian gave me an estimate, fixed the problem in 30 minutes, and explained the whole process.

I was lucky to get hold of Valley United Plumbing and have Christian available so quickly.

On a Saturday morning tenants in a home we own in Granada Hills texted a pic of a leaking and corroded water heater and told us the water was no longer able to get hot. As owners we were upset because we had just spent a grip of money replacing the main pipeline that runs from the center of the street to the home.

We immediately searched the net and stumbled upon Sam at Valley United Plumbing. They were listed as a five star company and the customer comments stood out for us. We reached out and all he asked for was a picture of the whole tank and the serial and model number. From that information he was able to determine that we hadn't replaced the water heater in 10 years and gave us a reasonable quote for tank, labor, parts, and warranty.

Even though the price was good, we wanted to save money by asking for a smaller tank, but Sam schooled us by letting us know that there's only a $50 difference between a 40 gallon tank and a 50 gallon tank and with two or more bathrooms we definitely wanted the latter.

By Monday our tenants were happy to be bathing in hot water. Everything was done in two hours. Sam even gave us a discount. Best of all was his knowledge, expertise, patience, and efficiency during this entire process. Thank you Valley United Plumbing! You are a legitimate five star company!

Hands down The best experiences only with Sam at Valley united Plumbing. For the past 6 years Sam has always resolved any situations we've had at our home and recently he not only found a source of a huge Gas leak but also in a quick and efficient manner resolved the problem. As always he's on time and extremely clean and very detail oriented. Always have and always will recommend this company to friends and family.

We highly recommended Sam for all your plumbing needs.  We had a clogged shower drain that we couldn't clear ourselves so we reached out to Sam for help.  Sam was quick to respond to our inquiry and provided a fair estimate.  Sam is punctuational, reliable, courteous and most importantly, very knowledgeable.  The day of service, Sam called 30 minutes before our appointment to let us know he was on his way.  He arrived on time, wore a mask, gloves and shoe covers before entering our home.  He explained the service, and within 20 minutes he cleared out several years worth of hair from our drain.

Sam did a great job with the sewer of my garage. He and his team were awesome They did a great work and very efficient. Sam is very honest plumber and you will never call anyone else once you use him for any plumbing project.

Woke up with water / sewer back up into the tub from the main line on the Thanksgiving day.  After making about 10 phone calls, Sam not only are the first one return call promptly but show up in less 30 minute.  He work diligently, run snake through the  main line repeatedly to clear out trash etc, and use camera to identify any other problem. He was able to clear out enough trach so all the plumbing in the house are back in business.
He also identify the main problem and offer two solutions (quote) how to fix it.

I have used Sam for two separate projects and must say he is one of the most honest tradesmen I have ever encountered. I don't usually leave reviews but will when I think the person or company really deserves it and Sam and his team absolutely do. He is my go to plumber and have recommended him to any friend who asks for a good, honest and reliable plumber.

You know how horrible it is when you have to find a new plumber? Well, not anymore. The team at Valley United Plumbing are fantastic, and I highly recommend them. Sam, the owner, and Cristian, his right hand man are so kind and respectful, but most importantly, honest.  I've had them out in the past to help unclog drains or install a new toilet but today we had them install a new washer dryer and laundry room sink and we could not be more pleased with their work. They show up on time, give you their opinion of what needs to be done and then charge a fair price for the work. I've even had the opportunity to refer them to a friend and that friend had a similar positive experience.

Christian was amazing and helped us fix our water hammering problem. He even went above and beyond to check under my house to make sure my pipes were all tightened. 100% would recommend their services and will be calling them again the next time I need help.

Sewer backup in our downstairs toilet and shower coming from the main. It was the most disgusting I've seen yuck!!!! Tried to snake it and use some Drano but it didn't help. Found Sam here at yelp and today 7am sharp on a New Years day he came and fixed it. Very professional and honest. Very nice guy. The most HONEST Plummer I have ever meet. Water heater burst in my home and created a huge mess. Called Sam and explained the situation on how important it was to get it fixed ASAP. My brother referred me to Sam A. when I told him that I was having some plumbing issues. For a couple of months, we have had this nasty smell that comes and goes. First I thought it was our dogs releasing gas (lol), but it wasn't. Then I thought a rat or animal got stuck underneath our house and died. it wasn't that either. I finally had a chance to go underneath the house and when I did, the whole bottom section that is underneath my kitchen was soaked!

it was the water, more specifically, the main line that connects to my kitchen sick, the pipe broke and everything that was going through that pipe would leak. I called my plumber, who has helped me in the past and who I thought was fair and honest, was going to charge me a crazy amount. I was upset, as this was right before Christmas. For the amount that I have already spent this past year, I would have thought, they would have helped me out a little.

Needless to say, I was the upset. I told my brother this and he told me that the plumber he uses is great and to give him a call. I called Sam, he answered the phone pretty quickly, considering he was busing at the time. He was very polite and asked if He could call me back. of course I said yes, but I also knew that I would be the one calling back, as I have had many instances when I was supposed to receive a call back and never did. To my surprise, he called me back that same day and said that he could come over the next day.

He came over, looked at the issue and said that this should be no problem to fix. His quote was very fair and reasonable and that he had a great suggestion/solution on how to soak up the water and eliminate the smell, without calling another agency that would charge me a boat load.

Long story short, Sam is a very knowledge and honest person that has your best interest heart. Going forward, he will be the plumber I call. He will also be doing my plumbing when I re-do my kitchen this year.

So glad to have found this company. From the time I requested a quote to the completion of the repair (shower drain clogged) and even the reasonable price, Sam (and Christian) provided timely, ethical and excellent service. I even asked Sam to check under the floor (which meant crawling under my house, eeeek) to see if the shower pan had a leak. He did this and showed me pictures of where it was leaking and advised me what my options were WITHOUT trying to sell me additional services. No pressure AND did not even charge extra for the extra service of checking under the house! That alone makes them my go-to plumbers forever!

I had called several plumbers earlier this week including Sam whom promptly returned my call and said he would stop by later in the week to meet with me and to assess the issue I was having with tree roots that penetrated the sewage drain line underneath the concrete driveway of my house.  Although I had forgotten about our phone discussion Sam promptly followed up as he promised and came out to my house today.  This was the first positive indication of his professionalism & character-true to his word.  

When he arrived, I explained to Sam that another plumbing contractor had come out a couple of weeks earlier and snaked/cleared the sewage line when it backed up inside my house.  After they cleared the blockage, they snaked the line again with a video cam which showed where the tree roots penetration occurred.  Their recommendation was to replace a section of the line which meant having to demolish the concrete, excavate, replace a four foot section of wedge line followed by masonry work to patch the portion of concrete that was demolished.  Otherwise the tree roots would grow back and I would encounter the same issue again in a matter of months.  In theory their recommendation was reasonable but at a significant expense considering the demolition of concrete, excavation, & masonry repair, etc.

Although my wife and I have prepared for the worst case scenario to include now having to replace the entire driveway, I decided to seek 2nd, 3rd, 4th, professional opinions.  In the end, Sam enlightened me with the most practical recommendation of all; the minor root issue in our drain can be mitigated with proactive, annual line cleaning maintenance. Sam conducted another video screen to show that other than the minor root penetration the rest of the line was intact, and the root growth can be prevented thereby avoiding the need for major repairs at least for several years with proper maintenance.  Save the big expense for when & where it's really needed.  I realized then that Sam's opinion was not only practical but makes economic sense.

Sam is a true professional and gentleman.  I truly appreciate his approach (methodical) to identifying cause of problem and laying out practical solutions.  Sam didn't charge me despite the time spent to conduct another video screening for his own assessment.  In addition, he also repaired worn out faucet valves and stems in my bathroom shower at a very reasonable price.

In closing, we finally found another professional to replace our long time  plumber whom helped us for many years but have recently retired.  We look forward to a long term working relationship with you Sam.

Called up at 8:30 am and got a return phone call at 9:15.   You know, it gets rarer and rarer to get a call back!     Sam said when we needed help and I said asap please....     He arrived by 10:30 and had the problem diagnosed and fixed within an hour.

I needed a plumber to complete a bathroom drain install for me. My electrician gave me Sam's number, so I called.
He came to do the job the same day. Told me how much it most likely would cost and how long it would take. Explained what he did, and demonstrated that it worked.
He also did a video inspection of my sewer line free of charge and explained what we saw live.

I have now used Sam from Valley United Plumbing around five times. I can truly say I have not met a more honest, sincere and true to his word tradesman. He always comes before he says he will be there and if something will be cheaper with someone else like for example replacing all the sprinklers on the sidewalk or something similar to that he will give you the best recommendation possible even if he's not the man for the job because it could be done more inexpensively by someone else. Valley United and Sam were highly recommended to me when my regular plumbers did not do the kind of work I needed.  Sam was courteous, honest and got the job done fast!

I had Sam come out because 2 toilets were not flushing right, and a bathtub was not draining right.
I picked out the toilets I wanted at home depot the night before he came out.
He charges 10 percent fee to go pick up.
I thought it was totally reasonable considering the weight, I didnt want to lift it in the back of my hatchback.If I even could.
Sam said the problem was the toilets not the drain.
It took Sam and his partner to carry the toilets in..
200 per toilet install.
1 up stairs. 1 downstairs.
Totally fixed the problem.
They were quick and professional and they cleaned up after.

Recently, our unusually strong 6 month old son decided to put his superhuman strength to the test--by knocking over a glass soap dispenser into our sink. The dispenser survived but our porcelain sink met a dreadful demise. The basin was cracked into several chunks and was completely irreparable. The baby is fine too, by the way. ;)

We needed a new sink, stat. But we also wanted someone to fix the shoddy work a contractor did on the vanity and poor choice of materials. Enter Sam. I contacted him directly via Yelp. After texting him some photos of the damage, he responded to my request for a price quote within minutes! He did need to assess the work in person, but the original quote pretty much stuck. He was able to get an upgraded make of sink and installed it within the hour--in addition to doing a far superior job than the original contractor did. He also managed this heroic feat without disturbing my napping super baby! Kudos!!

Had a bathroom in need of their magic. Dual sinks clogged past the T pipe, a busted P trap on one sink and a leaky source line. They came the next day, were very professional, wore a mask, and fixed the problem with expert precision and care. They're my new plumbers.

Valley United Plumbing does it again!  I've been putting off the big job of replacing my main sewer AND water line from the street to my house.  Finally pulled the trigger.  It was an expensive job but I knew from past experiences with Valley United that they would do the job right and I would have peace of mind.  They dug up both lines and I thought my lawn would never be the same.  After the city inspector signed off on all the work, they backfilled the holes and I was amazed at how good they did putting my lawn back together.  I wish I had taken before and after photos.  I trusted Sam and his crew on a big job and I'm really glad I did.  Their work is impeccable!

I needed my hose bib replaced in my back patio area - it was leaking and I didn't think I could fix this on my own. It was old and needed a plumbers touch (welding) I looked up a plumber on Yelp, called and texted a picture of my hose bib, he said he would call me back and never did. So I went back on Yelp and found Sam Aouda - (later in the day) called him, sent him picture and he called me back and quickly arranged to be at my house the next day early to fit me in before his first scheduled appt so I could have minimal time away from work.

Sam arrived early (6:15 am) and he replaced the hose bib quickly and efficiently. He protected my house siding during the welding and made sure everything was running right before he left.

Totally cool to be taken care of so personally.  In today's world and especially in LA we loose that home town helpful attitude.  Very attentive and personable.  I highly recommend...because my toilet wasn't going to fix itself!! A pro is a pro!

Had a terrific first-time experience with this company today! We had an emergency and needed someone fast! Sam had Christian at our house within 2 hours. Our in-wall galvanized pipes in the kitchen were crumbling, and water was seeping from the kitchen faucet and under the cabinet! We needed a quick fix while we consider our options -- Christian was thankfully able to oblige, fixing the leaks as well as providing us with a detailed estimate on how we can permanently correct the problem in the near future. He was neat, professional, and explained everything he was doing. Much appreciated! We'll be calling them again!

A few weeks ago I had Valley United Plumbing over to do some maintenance on my bathroom clean out line.
They were reasonably priced, pleasant, very professional, they arrived early, and did their job well, and even provided some extra service for no extra charge.
I've hired many plumbers over years for my house and have received varying degrees of service and professionalism from decent to awful to rip-off.
Sam and Christian from Valley United Plumbing exceeded all my expectations. The next time I need or recommend a plumber, they are first on my list!

We had a corroded brass pipe under the kitchen sink.  After checking Yelp and another site I read great reviews for Valley United Plumbing.  I contacted Sam and he immediately responded.  I provided pictures so he could see the problem.  He gave me a reasonable quote and came to our house the next morning.  Sam did an excellent job.  He explained the problem, fixed the problem and corrected prior installation problem.  I also had Sam check out two other problems and he took care of both.  Sam did a wonderful job and is a very nice and pleasant person.  I will definitely use him again and recommend him to others in need of an honest and competent plumber.

I've had a great experience working with Sam.  He responds to texts promptly, answers your questions, and shows up when he says he will. The first time I used him was for a sink that was backing up.  He came out promptly, fixed the problem, and gave me suggestions on how I can avoid the problem in the future (including showing me the clean-out valve).  So nice to have someone who looks to save you money.

When I contacted him to replace a toilet, he immediately recommended  some low-cost options that he thinks work well.  My shut-off valve was in an awkward position (there's been some amateur work done on my house in the past) but he made it work, without complaint or trying to add extra charges.  He's polite and wants to make sure you're happy.

This is the 2nd time I've used Valley United Plumbing. I don't usually write reviews or even use plumbers much, but similar to the first time, I found Sam and his assistant to be very efficient, courteous and most of all honest. He understood I have a demanding, and stressful job, so he went out of his way to stop by my house at 7am... and he and Christian were right on time. The repaired the leaking valve/pipe within the hour and I was on my way back to work. These guys are great! Sam also gave me advise on some other repairs I may be needing in the future. Can't say enough about how amazing this place is.  I've used them twice now, once to move a drain pipe and once for a leaky pipe in the wall. Both times, they were incredible.  Awesome service, great prices, and just all around amazing job.  Couldn't recommend someone higher!

We discovered a leak in our ceiling Friday night and called Sam first thing Saturday morning. He answered right away and was able to come out within three hours in the window of time he quoted us. Sam was professional, knowledgeable and was able to quickly assess the problem and fix it. Sam clearly explained what we were dealing with and cleaned up the area in our ceiling where the water had collected after repairing the pipe. He also left us the pipe, video and pictures should we ever need to submit and insurance claim. The cost was minimal and I would highly recommend using him!

This is what a plumber should be. I sent 11 quote requests out with yelp and this is the only company that replied with a detailed quote that was straightforward and easy to understand. He was respectful and on time. He spent 2 hours assessing the pipes at my house and gave us several options on how to move forward with prices for each but wasn't pushy.  He even emailed me a copy of the camera video of the pipes. He charged us the exact amount he quoted us down to the penny. I wouldn't even think of calling any other plumber after this.

I hired Sam to fix an old shower hot and cold faucets . He came out on time , explained the process and finished on time . His quality of work is excellent and he has integrity. I will definitely call him next time I need a  reliable plumber

First of all...I would like to say that Sam is an honest person. He isn't trying to rip you off or take advantage of you. He explains things clear with no hidden surprises. That makes his company first rate. He also does great work and his workers are all friendly and quality people. He has done a lot of work in our home, including replacing all of home's old cast iron sewer lines. Just had a kitchen faucet leak and Christian came by within an hour and fixed it for no charge. I know there are a lot of plumbers you can call but you can't go wrong choosing Sam and his crew.

Sam is a stand up professional.  My mom had a gas leak and after having Edison out to inspect, they turned off the gas around Christmas time last year.  We were not ready for that! Let alone having a cold house.  I checked Yelp, and saw Valley United was local with excellent reviews.
I called at 7pm not expecting a call back, but he called within 10 minutes, came out the next day, found the leak, plugged it all in one day.  He also took time to put plastic around the job so the drywall dust would not spread thru the house. He cleaned up, neat and clean, job well done. Easy to communicate with, explained the quote, took video of the leak under the house so we could see it, and it was a fair price.  I would recommend Sam to anyone with plumbing issues.

Had a clogged drain. Old plumber had retired. Help! Called Sam at Valley United Plumbing because of his excellent Yelp reviews. Sam returned my call very quickly and I explained that it was not an emergency and he asked if he could come by tomorrow told him that was fine. Sam and Christian are extremely professional, honest, efficient and fair with their pricing. They quickly cl the drain then Sam even gave us some tips on how to keep our drains running free and clear. Will certainly use Valley United Plumbing for any of my future plumbing needs.

I had water coming down from our bathroom ceiling and needed repair. Saw the good reviews and gave them a call. Sam came in and I saw that he was putting his shoe protectors before coming in the house. Right away a good sign that he will be thorough. He assessed the damage and gave us a very reasonable quote. He was done from getting in the house and writing the plumbers report in an hour. He cleaned up after his work, and gave us recommendations on what to proceed after.

I got a quote from another plumber for replacing three sinks, wanted to get a second opinion and found Sam.  He came, measured, and checked everything out and his estimate came in almost $500 less than the other company.  Sam and Robert came and replaced all three sinks within 2.5 hours, they were very friendly, didn't make me feel uncomfortable at all, and they were very upfront about all of their work and had me check everything out.  I would definitely recommend their services.

I texted Sam and a bunch of other plumbers, and he was the first to reply. Very professionally too. He quoted us a much more reasonable rate than another plumber I had called for a basic snake unclog of our toilet. When he came over, he found that it was a toy flushed down the toilet that my toddler had put in! He was so honest and helpful. He said it could have been worse, but that was all it was. He didn't force any other services on us, he was so honest and professional. So nice to my toddler's too as they loved watching him do his work lol. Highly recommend! He seems like not only a great professional, but a great person! :)

I cannot say enough positive things about Sam.  He was recommended to me by two friends when I had an emergency so I immediately texted him late at night.  He responded right away and he and Christian arrived first thing the next morning.  They figured out the issue right away, gave me different options to fix, ordered the part and were back in one day to get it all set up.  in the meantime, Christian checked the water pressure around the house just to make sure it was all how it should be.  Sam communicates often and efficiently and is often early and never late.  I am having him do some additional work for me now (an issue I have known about but have been hesitant to have done) as there is absolutely no one else I would trust to handle.  Please look no further--Sam is your guy!

Absolutely the best plumber!!  We had two ancient wall hung Case toilets.  Over the years, we rebuilt them many times as we could never find replacements.  Recently, the non-working days for the toilets were out numbering the working days.  Sam found our new toilets in one day!  When he discovered that one of the new toilets was damaged, he drove for two hours to get the replacement.  The installation was very tricky, but he managed it perfectly and left the bathrooms cleaner than when he arrived....and his price was extremely fair.  Sam's communication skills are the best......he calls when he is on the way....arrives exactly when promised......and calls often with updates regarding the project. Kind, elegant, gentleman....unusual description for a plumber...but that is Sam.  We will never use anyone else.

Sam's a great plumber.  Super friendly and knowledgeable. He was very patient in answering my endless list of questions.  Sam not only gives competitive prices but will also let you know how you can save money or if you might be able to get a lower price elsewhere: who does that nowadays?  Very responsible in returning calls quickly, shows up on time and focuses 100% on the job when he's there.  He's also very concerned about leaving no mess anywhere when he is done.  I will for sure use Sam for all my plumbing needs in the future.

The other reviews were spot on - thank you fellow Yelpers!  Sam's availability was much appreciated on a Sunday.   He assured me he had a supplier of pressure assisted toilets that I learned are not available locally to the general public and arranged to pick it up (supplier open Monday) AND come out first thing in the morning to install.  As others have noted, he was true to his word, did a great job, efficiently completed with his trusty assistant, and charged a very reasonable price.  These are qualities I have learned not to take for granted, and it is my pleasure to add another 5-star, high recommendation.

I totally agree with the other reviews.  Sam is very professional and personable. He was the first one I called and I'm glad I didn't need to waste time calling other plumbers.   We had been having drain blockages in our main line running under the house from time to time and needed to see if we had a problem with the pipes.  I was concerned that we had a broken pipe or roots infiltration.  Sam was here very quickly after calling him and did a video inspection. Fortunately, it turned out that the pipes were Ok.  (It turned out that apparently some non bio degradable baby wipes had gotten stuck in line which caused intermittent blockages.)  His video inspection showed that the lines were now clear much to my relief.  Highly recommended!

Sam came by just today to install new faucet heads and put up the trim and handles in my shower.  I have never dealt with someone in his line of work who takes the time to make sure everything is exactly as I want it. I also should mention that he got here early in the window he provided and wrapped up the job quickly. Very good, right on time.  Appointment is between 2-4, he called at 1:30 that he will arrive at 2.  He explained what happen and give suggestions what should we do.  We will call them again whenever we have plumbing problems.

This is an updated review for Sam of Valley United Plumbing.  He is the best plumber we have worked with.  We had issues with our toilet and he responded promptly (the day after we contacted him late in the evening) and was gracious enough to work around our busy schedule.  He took care of the problem fast, efficiently and was so very easy to get along with.    He was also nice enough to double check the water pressure to our house while he was there to take care of the toilet problem.  Thank you, SAM.

I called Sam with a problem of leakage in attic. I had to turn off the water for the house. He was very understanding of the issue and came to see the problem in about 30 minutes. He got up there to little hard to access area without any complaining and did not take advantage of the situation of house being without water. He videotaped the problem and explained it to me thoroughly. He gave very reasonable quote with discounts. Once the problem was fixed he tested all the fixes and pressure, videotaped the job done, and I ended up giving up one more job to him!

On a weekend visit to my aging Mother's home I saw water leaking continually down the driveway from a planter just outside her garage. All I could see was mud, so I knew I needed a professional. I called Sam at Valley United Plumbing after researching local plumbers and their reviews, seeing that they were open even on Sundays. He personally answered the phone and worked me into the schedule within an hour and a half from our conversation. He texted to say he was on his way even prior to our arranged time. How nice is that when water is being wasted! He was respectful, clean, neat and took care to keep the muddy mess to a minimum.  Once he found two leaks, he showed them to me and explained what the course of the repair would be and the estimate for the repair. I okayed the repair and he proceeded to get to work. After finishing, he demonstrated his handiwork and no leaks! He even suggested an additional garden box cover that we could purchase inexpensively from Amazon Prime to protect the valve in the future. The final bill wasn't as high as he estimated, another plus!  All in all, I can heartily recommend Sam from Valley United Plumbing, a true professional!!
