My parents had a leak in their bathroom which caused damage to their vanity. They did not know where the leak was coming from, faucet perhaps? A claim was filed through their home warranty and The Plummer was the company assigned. As I am not in their area, I couldn't see firsthand what the issue was. I was told by the Plummer the issue was leaking from the sink which isn't covered. As they are working with a restoration company for the vanity damage this wasn't an issue since it was going to be replaced anyway. However, the leak is coming from the hot water valve. Their bathroom cannot be worked on until the leak is fixed. The Plummer said a new claim would need to be filed since this isn't coming from the faucet, and would need to pay for a new claim.
My issue is, if there is a leak that is causing damage to the vanity, wouldn't you be checking surrounding areas? This is something that could have been resolved on day 1. Yes, the leak isn't from the faucet, but this could have been pointed out day 1 from a professional that the leak is coming from somewhere else under the sink.
Now my parents are having to spend more $$ with the restoration company to have this fixed.

This a review for THE PLUMBER DBA ROBCO ENTERPRISES INC. On 5/5/2023, Mark and Hunter came out to address the leak beneath my kitchen sink. First of all, Robco Enterprises Inc. has outstanding. efficient plumbers. Among these is Mark and Hunter. These two are cordial and skilled, not to mention efficient. They addressed the problem.

I cannot say enough negative things about this company. We have been having plumbing issues for months now and for some reason my home warranty only sends out this company. After spending thousands of dollars, I called my warranty company and told them I still have cold water and I am not confident the several plumbers (Jim and someone else) knew what they were doing. They agreed to send a different company this time but something told me to call my gas company. A technician from SoCal gas came and assessed my water heater and said who ever has been servicing it did a horrible job. For one, they tried to bypass the energy safety switch and by doing that, my water heater has not only been leaking gas but if the heater was to have gotten to hot it was bound to explode. Each time someone came out they were in a rush to leave. Never turning the water heater back on forcing us to go to the garage and do it ourselves. Telling us they had to come back with certain parts and not coming leaving us to call the office to follow up. These high ratings must be from employees and their family/friends. They not only provided pisspoor customer service but someone could have gotten seriously hurt. I will find a way to report this company!

I was able to get same day appointment which was awesome. Chance fixed my shower spout and everything went well. They are professional and came right on time. Minus one star because I feel like they overcharge. I received a similar quote for almost half of what The Plumber charge. The reason I chose them is because my original plumber wasn't able to do same day and I was desperate for my shower to be fixed.
To solder a pipe and install my shower spout was $169
I have a lot of home projects I want to do but hesitate to use them since I feel like i'm being ripped off. But overall, they came and fixed my issue timely and professionally.

Special shout-out to Mark.
We had a house-wide clogging situation and were in a bit of a panic.
He was able to diagnose and the problem and explained to me exactly what was going on. He also advised on what happens next and what to anticipate. And everything was at a reasonable price.
We actually had another plumber (who I will respectfully protect their anonymity) previously come in and try to fix the same problem. It turns out they actually made it worse by knocking one of the valves off, also something Mark recognized. I highly recommend going to The Plumber for all your plumbing needs.

I needed a toilet replacement and the plumber asked did I want a specific toilet, I answered, just one that works well, I'm not picky. I now know that was a wrong answer, because the toilet he brought was tiny made of plastic in top, so I can't sit on top of the toilet when I'm bathing my son. Then the toilet overflowed (flooded) so he came out and fixed it, insisting that it is a good toilet. Now the toilet continues to run as if it's filling so all night you have that running water sound. This time I didn't bother calling him back.
I have the plumber three starts because he did other work and all is well there (just the toilet) but I blame myself for not doing my research on toilets

Tried to charge me $500 to fix a jacuzzi pump - and I already had the repair parts here. I could've bought a brand new pump for $200, and all I would have had to do is plug it in.

After compounding the problem of my kitchen sink being clogged by trying to fix it myself I decided to call The Plumber for assistance. I was fortunate that they were able to offer same day service and on a Sunday no less. The plumber who came out, Mark, was able to fix the initial problem as well as the additional problems I created during the one visit. Mark took his time and completed the job even when it turned out to not be a simple initial fix. He was a very authentic and trustworthy person and I'm very happy to have a plumbing company I can trust in the A.V. Price was very fair for the job.

I'm updating my earlier review for The Plumber who responded very promptly to a service request through American Home Shield our warranty company. Brad came out, diagnosed the problem as a slab leak, explained that the costs would probably exceed what the insurance would cover and we set an appointment for the day after next. He arrived promptly, had me sign the various authorizations on a tablet where I couldn't see more than my signature line but hey, American Home Shield's a reputable company and I trust them so....

I was told that the work, running a new hot water line to bypass the old corroded copper one could involve unforeseen costs that might run as high as $2,500 but we'll see. Brad and his helper ( who appeared to do very little) worked quickly, efficiently and very neatly and even including a forty minute lunch break finished in under four hours. Later that evening I received an invoice for the job detailing the work but with no figures on it. I emailed the owner querying this and was told that they don't quote on a time and materials basis but on a job quote and this was theirs. I protested that $2,650 for four hours work was ridiculous and I never agreed to accept a job quote (The home warranty company apparently paid $500, the service call was $100 and the charge to my credit card was $2,050). I disputed the charge with my credit card company who investigated but eventually had to accept the charge as it had been made according to their rules. The upshot was that I had been carefully set up by Brad, enticed into entering a contract without full disclosure and being royally ripped off by The Plumber!!!

Our toilet backed up late last night and I contacted the plumber super early this morning and they were able to send someone out first thing. Mark and Chance arrived promptly and were incredibly knowledgeable and able to address the issue and fix it right away. I've used these Plumber services at least twice before in the past and I've always been quite satisfied with their work.

I recently set up an appointment with The Plumber and he was able to come to fix my dripping shower last week on Wednesday morning. However, he and his apprentice did not have the correct part they needed, so it had to be ordered. Once it was ordered, they were able to come to my house immediately to fix my dripping shower. Our Plumber, Josh, was really sweet and he realized that he still did not have the exact (correct) part for my shower. He made two trips to Home Depot and Lowe's just to find the right piece of equipment he was looking for to complete the job. It did take longer than usual, but I'm so glad that Josh was so thorough in his work. Thanks again!

Check my account I'm not a regular review writer, but the experience I had today was not regular!

I called The Plumber last week for a quote and the price was right. They sent Brad out to do the install and craftsmanship, attention to detail ,and overall service was the BEST! Ask for Brad that guy is quick and the finished result is flawless.

I forgot to mention the first quote I got, the guy was all drama, telling me it was a tough job and he they might have to replace a bunch of other stuff to install the sink. And the price they quoted was the same, but that didn't include ...the other stuff.... I guess that's why I forgot about them.

Called the plumber to a pressure regulator.
I warned Chance that the city shut off valve is Very Hard to turn off. Sure enough had to call la county waterworks.
City waterworks had to replace the valve.
Once completed Chance came back and replaced water regulator great job.

Three nights ago my wife noticed that our water heater was leaking. Luckily, it's located in the garage. The morning of the next day we made a call to The Plumber. The phone was answered by Mindy, who was not only helpful, but had a great phone etiquette. She immediately scheduled us for an appointment for the same afternoon. That afternoon the technician, named Chance promptly arrived at my home.
He had a professional appearance and demeanor. Chance assessed the situation and determined that we did, in fact need a replacement water heater. I then called Mindy to make sure that they were on the ball in ordering the unit, as my past experience with other companies has left much to be desired. I was very happy to find that she had already done so.
Chance came today and performed the installation of the new water heater. He was not only prompt on arrival, but also did a very professional job. Great job Chance and Mindy, your company is lucky to have you both! We had a fantastic experience, and we will call

We had a slab leak and they did a re-pipe on our entire first floor. The work they did are exceptional and they cleaned the affected areas after.

Brad and his team did the repair in two days. They even recommended to move the pressure regulator inside the house and put a gate valve as well. The price was fair and reasonable.
We will use them again definitely if we have issues with our plumbing.

We had a complete kitchen sink stoppage and standing water on a Friday afternoon. The first company we called did not return our call, even overnight, despite saying they were 24/7. Saturday, midday, I called The Plumber based on recommendations by Next Door neighbors, and Robert had our old pipes clear by early that afternoon. Chance was the name of our technician and he did a thorough clean out. I was especially happy he was careful not to let that awful, black drainage get on my cabinets and undersink. He cleaned up the sink afterwards too. We're excited to have a new plumber!

Upstairs bathroom flooded. Called home warranty who sent someone our (not The Plumber) who came out and told us the was no leak even though the carpet was sopping wet, and left. I called the home warranty again and told them I was not satisfied with the company they sent and to send another contractor. The Plumber came out and Jim explained in detail what happen. The bolts on the bottom of the commode loosened causing water to flush out - no pipe leak which I was worried about. He tightened the bolts and checked ceilings below and luckily no damage. He also advised me that when laying new flooring to make sure the toilet is removed so that the flooring is level or it could creat a problem in the future. Thanks Jim.

Had to call for a kitchen sink blockage and was scheduled on a Wednesday, the company call last minute due to a cancelation on Tuesday and wanted to know if they could come immediately.
That was an amazing turn of events, they came and unfortunately my home warranty company dies not cover anything other the the simplest things. No immediate access to a drain clean out, Not covered but that's not The Plumber personnel. They came out on a call from then, hwc didn't cover they cut me a break did the work and knocked $ off the total. Brad was fantastic professional and personable and quick. My technician was Chance. He was kind helpful and worked very hard through a rather complicated issue that took a few hours, he even got wet. He remained pleasant even though it was cool. Josh came out to fix a leak that was behind the wall, and was only noticed from the outside at first. It was a complicated task due to extensive pitting of some cheap, thin walled copper pipe that was previously used to make a repair, it took a couple trips, but he took care of the job. The office made the right decision in doing a thorough repair....Things get muddled when their is an insurance claim. However, The Plumber came through and fixed it !

I just moved to the area and called The Plumber. I was greeted by a professional and patient receptionist/ scheduler who gave me an appointment for the same week (not an emergency).
I received texts and a reminder call (needed since my memory is terrible:-)), and the day of my appointment, minutes before, I received a text with a photo and the name of my assigned Plumber, James.
James was prompt and extremely knowledgeable! He was also a funny guy who told me exactly what the problem was and what was needed. He scheduled my service for a few days later and true to his word showed up with the proper materials and completed the job in a timely fashion.
After the job was completed James gave me some follow tips to maximize the longevity of my tankless water heater. James was great!
I will definitely give The Plumber a call in the hopefully far future :-) and I'd highly recommend them to friends and family.

My anti siphon valve was leaking and they sent someone out. The guy they sent was very helpful but then he told me his boss said they don't do irrigation systems so I had to cancel. He had me sign a tablet saying they would send me an invoice conveying no service done. I called to confirm that I would receive this invoice but when I called, the person on the phone (I think he was the owner) actually got mad at me for asking for clarification on the situation. This is not how you treat customers.

Update: Owner sent me invoice right away. I'm adding two stars for the follow through.

Our toilet wasn't seated properly and needed an extra rubber gasket. Brad the technician was excellent and fixed the problem within minutes. He is very knowledgeable and was in and out quickly. The reason why I didn't give 5 stars is because it cost $225 which seems to be a little over priced for the service and I wish someone could have given me a quote prior to getting the job done. I'm mean I've have had my garage door springs changed for less than that in comparison.

I've lived in amAntelope Valley for over 30 years and I've had plenty of plumbing problems but one thing I can always count on is the plumber DBA. The service is exceptional the last leak I had was coming out of the wall Jim came by on a Wednesday located the problem back on Thursday morning boom bang no more leaks coming out of my wall. My home inspector reported a bad leak under my master shower so I found The Plumber, supposedly according to their ad you can trust them with your mother... Well they were personable and I felt the journeyman lead plumber was very experienced. But he quoted an extremely high price without a written quote, my bad for not demanding a written quote describing the work to be done. He called the work surgery. Well it was under my mobile home and couldn't have been pleasant and they were already in the park so they arrived quickly and did the work extremely fast so how much surgery could really have been involved is highly questionable. When he came back with the bill and the belated quote, he even called it gouging himself. Good lord. Well he tried to say they are middle priced but $600 for a ten minute job is gouging. Still I feel confident in his plumbing credentials though I would never, ever call these people again.

I've used them for two separate calls both to install a new toilet. They've done an excellent job! The first time was an emergency after I broke the old toilet trying to fix it myself. They had the soonest appointment and were the lowest price. They just completed the second install in my other bathroom with a different plumber. Excellent work and again the lowest price.
This time I called 3 different plumbing companies to compare price and schedule. Actually the 3rd company still hasn't returned my call. I highly recommend The Plumber!!!

We have used The Plumber many times in the past and have always been happy with their service. This time I wasn't so happy with the service. I had some slow draining drains and they came to clear them. He worked and said he was done, but when I checked the drains one of the three drains was still slow draining. He had some excuses and said he didn't know why it was still draining slow, but I asked him to run the snake again. He was fine with that and it did clear the drain. So I am happy that he solved the problem, but I am not happy that he was willing to get paid without solving my problem. He only solved it because I wasn't going to let him leave without fixing it. I will still use The Plumber, but I hope they give better service next time like they usually do.

This about the sixth time I've had these guys out for repairs or services. I have always been satisfied with their work. This time, however, was going to be some major work, about 1100.00 worth. Josh started the work and found that the way the house was built the repair ended up being half! They could have easily charged the original price and we would have been none the wiser. We definitely appreciate the honesty and always be our go-to for future work.

Was of great service and very knowledgeable at first. After diagnosing my problem with rocks in my line the rep told me he could get my skins working. The main supply water lines they carried weren't long enough. He said luckily i have a 30 in my car and installed it. I was grateful because that allowed me to have a working sink for my training that was upcoming this week. I came in 3 days after to see water everywhere. Lord behold it was from the 30 inch they installed. At first the guy told me we wouldn't install that and called me a liar. Even tho the valve had the tag on it and was brand nee. After i told him i have a camera recording voice 24-7 right above where the work was done he went outside and called the boss. He quickly changed his story and tried to go back in my property without my permission and take the piece. I told him for insurance purposes could he please leave it. Long story short the owner said he would send a water company out to dry my place out the same day.. they never did. Then said he would give me his insurance info after the memorial weekend. He never did.

Our sewer line had a blockage, so we sent The Plumber a request for a quote. They responded within minutes and scheduled us the next day as we told them it wasn't an emergency. They came over right on time as promised. Mark and Seth talked me through the whole process. I wanted to get a cleanout installed afterward, which I had not scheduled that work to be done but they did not hesitate to get to work and get the job done. James is the man!! Honestly, I'll never use another plumber again. The level of professionalism from start to finish far exceeded my expectations. We called The Plumber because we suspected we had a slab leak and James was so thorough throughout the diagnostic process and even more thorough and patient in explaining to us our options in repairing/rerouting it. He even was receptive to my feedback and ultimately rerouted our water supply by going through our stucco, rather than putting holes in our brand new kitchen cabinets. He did this at no additional cost despite making his job much more difficult. He also noticed we had the capability of putting in a pump to recirculate our hot water and did so while we was there. The prices for both jobs were extremely fair, especially considering the attention to detail he took. He even followed up the next day to insure the hot water pump had worked properly. The water heater sprung a weak and set the water leak detector off. Unfortunately when I looked at the pan it sits in it didn't seem to have water in it. But the high pitched whistle was deafening. I thought the thing was going to explode. The Plumber scheduler decided to send someone to at least check it out. The leak detector was sitting in a little puddle of water and when it was picked up the whistling stopped. So be forewarned looks can be deceiving. The tank was 11 years old had been gurgling for a long time. I decided to replace it. Thanks to Jim and his assistant and scheduler, who took pity on me and came out quickly.

I'd like to recognize Rob, at the Plumber for operating and upholding an exceptional establishment, providing quick & stellar service. Through my experience with The Plumber, I was very well taken care of by Service Expert Mike, assisted by Paul, who were dispatched to my call and went above and beyond on a water heater replacement with drywall damage. They quickly proceeded with R&R upon arrival and removed the old Water heater and prepped everything for repair within a matter of minutes, and further outsourced Jesse, with All Dry Water Clean up to make all necessary repairs. Within a matter of less than 48 hours of all removal, repair, and replacement, everything was smoothly dialed back in with hot running water amidst the cold nights and mornings. This is a very professional, no bullshit establishment, with exceptional service, and an exceptionally well managed operation via Robert of the Plumber. Robert provided oversight and ensured the staff exercised and provided clear, conscientious, quality work, with clear and constant communication and are very knowledgable about what they do. They are efficient, diligent, and get in and out within a timely manner with very reasonable cost.
My experience with Robert, Ashley who took care of and dispatched my call, Service expert Mike, and Paul, exceeded my expectations as they take tremendous pride in their work, and genuinely care about their services. Doing business like how business used to be done, with pride, integrity, and accountability; where your word and a handshake upholds its weight in execution.

We've had to call these guys twice in 2 weeks, once for an issue with our kitchen sink, and once because the pressure relief valve on our water heater was broken. Both times, Mark came out, he was quick, efficient, and got the job done.
Better yet, when our sink backed up, a handyman quoted us $175 to clear the line. Both jobs, the hot water heater and the clogged sink, 2 different service calls, cost us just a few dollars more than what the handyman quoted us for just one job.
We're happy! Reasonably priced, responsible, friendly service, and perfect work!

Our hot water heater started leaking Christmas night. We had a good experience in the past with The Plumber do we called them the next morning. We were told to purchase a hot water heater and someone would be out between 2 - 4 that day. My husband received what looked like an automated text message confirming our appointment. When no one showed up by 4:30 we called. The woman answering the phone said there must have been a miscommunication as she was waiting for us to call back confirming we purchased the hot water heater. She apologized for the miscommunication and scheduled us for the next morning 8 - 12. No confirmation text. We started calling at 10:00 to confirm. No answer and no return call on two messages left. When no one showed up by noon we found another plumber. If you don't want to work Sundays or the weekend after Christmas you should just say that upfront.

Had The Plumber come out to my house to fix my refrigerator valve. They fixed it in a timely manner. In and out the job was done. The only thing that I was very displeased was after completing the job of fixing the valve.. they tried to run water through my water dispenser not realizing there was a leak on the bottom of my refrigerator which spilled over into a puddle of water behind my fridge. I found the puddle of water accidentally when I used the fridge after they left. I wish people could make sure their job is completely done and mess is all cleaned up and dried before they leave the job. Especially in the kitchen

It was 5pm on Sunday, September 1, 2019. The middle of the Labor Day weekend. And that's when my old water heater decided to leak and soak the carpet. I called several places and got voicemail each time. Robert at The Plumber called me back promptly and gave me instructions on how to turn off the gas and water and drain the tank. I came home from work and saw my garage flooded, from the water heater tank and my daughter was on the phone with somebody whose phone number was posted on the tank to call in case of emergency. Too bad that person won't come due to COVID-19.
We have no shower and no hot water.
I google the nearest Plumber and YELP appeared.
2 answered my call and give me estimate.
The 1st one give me high $$$ plan.
The PLUMBER give me the outright one. Just as what my BF checked on line, the amount of the water heater tank plus installation.
They came the next day and the work was done.

Brad and Seth came out because something was leaking underground in our front yard. We had a puddle that just wouldn't dry! Even in this crazy heat! They were awesome, and found the problem area right away which was an old valve that got buried under the dirt who knows how many years ago. They solved the issue and installed not only a better valve, but they put in a box with a lid so we can get to the valve if we ever need to shut it off for any reason. These guys are pros, know their stuff, and charge a very reasonable rate. We will definitely call The Plumber for any future needs and highly recommend their services to anyone who needs a plumber. Wish we could give more than five stars! Top notch, and very professional!

Robert and his team took care of my drain stoppage very quickly. Bradley, lead technician, was personable, polite and most engaging with his 15 years of experience!

No sooner did Bradley leave after all was checked, I luckily noticed a small leak from the garbage disposal's underside that wasn't there 20 minutes earlier. A call to the office had Bradley back within a half hour with a new replacement. What? Yes! I was blown away. The leak was a godsend because it was found that my old disposal's blades were rusted or 'glued in a static position' and thus were - useless! Probably the cause of my original drain issue!

The pricing was reasonable for parts and labor. Thanks, team!

I noticed water under my sink on Friday night. There wasn't that much so I decided to wait until Saturday to check it out. While I was checking , the valve controlling the hot water line exploded. I called The Plumber around 8 AM. He stated he could have someone over between 9am to 1pm. His technician (Ralph) showed up at 10 am. He saw the problem and had to go back to the shop to get the part. When he got back, it took him about 20 minutes to fix the problem. Ralph showed me the problem was the original builders used a cheap parts and it just wore out. Ralph has a great attitude and was very professional. In the future, i will definitely call The Plumber for any plumbing needs

This company is the worst! Stopped using them years ago. American home shield lost me as a customer because this company. They kept sending them and it was always a waist because I knew their game and they didn't want to work for me either. They have a list of customers they don't work for and if your on it you can get water damage and other secondary not cover by a home warranty.

In my opinion if they were the last plumber in the world I would learn myself. In my opinion they are lucky to have warranty company that give them business because alone they would have to change a lot.

They had a guy come out on Father's day to replace a hose bib and some broken copper pipe. The price was $240 and it took him about 2 hours. The ONLY reason why I'm giving 4 instead of 5 stars is because I wish they had told me in their initial quote that they don't do the patchwork for the drywall hole they had to cut to access the pipe. Still the response was fast and the price seemed reasonable.

You know it's been about 8 years since I've needed to have a plumber do work on my home. When I did need one I would always call Robert. When Robert did work on my home in the past he and his crew did excellent work. My opinion of Robert and his company had always been positive and he's a good guy. Up until yesterday when someone I knew would need a Plumber I would refer them to The Plumber. I work with a lot of Title, escrow, and real estate offices in the AV, if they asked for a recommendation I would always say call the Plumber and give them Roberts personal cell to call. That ends today. They probably won't care but I'll let you know why. I have American Home Shield as a warranty service, they use The Plumber to do work for them. I put in a work order for my busted water heater and a shut off valve that wasn't closing. The man( not Robert, an employee ) came to my home on Tuesday 3/5/19 looked at the situation and told me he couldn't replace the water heater until the platform it sat on was replaced due to water damage. Ok I can do that. So I asked if he was going to replace the shut off valve, witch is covered by my home warranty, and he did not. Check the stupid lazy shit this idiot did in the attached picture. I call ECONOMU Construction Inc. That came the next day and put in a new platform. We called American Home Shield to let them know that the Platform was replaced. They called The Plumber to have them come and put in the new Water Heater. This is what they wanted to charge after the water heater was purchased by the warranty company.
$195 for the permit from the city. I called the city and that's only $49
$149 for Insulation
$175 T&P
$95 for a Pan
$175 for Gas. Wait What?
$159 for the Vent.
They wanted to charge me $952 to install a water heater. And that price doesn't include the water heater. Wow. And I would have to wait more days for them to come back.
Since I already had ECONOMU CONSTRUCTION here I had them do the work and I would just have to send in an invoice to be reimbursed for the repairs. It only cost me $829 for everything including the water heater. My Wife is currently battling Cancer and needs warm water. The run around I got between American Home Shield and the Plumber is unacceptable. I'm currently looking for a different home warranty company.
My recommendation would be for you to never use the Plumber. For you to find a different company that is much more fair with the prices they charge for the same exact work.
I personally will never refer The Plumber to anyone ever again.

I called and spoke to John and explained my plumbing repair needs. He was extremely polite and professional. He said a professional plumber could respond to my home within the next few hours. Before he arrived, John sent me a text message which had a picture of the expert plumber with his name, Cory. The message said that he was on his way and should arrive within an hour.
Sure enough, Cory was at my door within 30 minutes! I was actually shocked at how quickly he responded. Cory was dressed professionally and was clean in appearance; he was also VERY polite and patient as he listened to me explain what my plumbing problems were. Cory then gave me a price quote which I believe was very fair price, especially during this Covid19 pandemic. The repairs were completed in a timely and professional manner. The bottom line, if I have any future plumbing needs, The Plumber will be the first company I will call and I will have them do my work. I definitely would recommend The Plumber to all of my family members and friends plumbing repair needs. A big shoutout and thank you to The Plumber company. Cory... Job well done!!

American Home Shield set my spouse and I up with The Plumber for repairs during the one-year home warranty following the purchase of our home. More than a dozen calls followed because most of the hose bibs were leaking, the garbage disposal rusted out on the bottom and flooded our kitchen floor, the ice maker line began leaking under the house and the water shutoffs for all sinks and toilets had to be replaced thanks to the horribly hard water in this area.

On one of the last calls before our home warranty was up last summer, an employee for The Plumber who formerly lived in the area suggested that we have our water pressure checked. It wasn't until we had the water company out at the end of last year, however, that we learned that he was right. The pressure coming into our house was double of what it should have been -- and we were lucky, in fact, that we didn't have pipes bursting in walls or worse.

We called in The Plumber most recently to address the fact that the regulator for the water pressure was broken and to correct the situation that arose after a water main broke to a neighboring house in November. The water company's work sent rust/debris into the lines at which point our main bathroom shower quit working entirely (not even a dribble emerged from the shower).

Knowing that the only way to fix the problem was to open up the walls and replace the old valve/mixer, we hired a contractor to make the repairs. The decision was motivated by the convenience of knowing that the walls would be patched up by the contractor after completion of the work (something plumbing companies don't do). Unfortunately, the contractor's work had to be completely re-done by The Plumber because our newly-installed trim kit, with diverter, broke right away. What's more, the new valve resulted in the hot water cutting out less than 10 minutes into the first shower, suggesting that our nearly $200 Moen tub/shower trim kit with valve, which we had obtained from Home Depot, was defective. After waiting over a month for the contractor to make the repair, we were back to Square One after the contractor suggested we call a plumber.

The Plumber sent one of their best employees out to address our numerous plumbing problems. Robert R. replaced our faulty water pressure regulator, installed a new American Standard valve to our main shower/tub, installed our self-supplied replacement American Standard trim kit and put in a new trap under our sink in the same bathroom -- all on the same day. It was a lot of work, and it wasn't cheap, but Robert R. made good time. After a month of waiting on the contractor -- who had rescheduled on us repeatedly through the month of December and again through New Year's week while we made do with a tiny shower off an unheated garage in the cold of winter -- we are kicking ourselves that we didn't simply call The Plumber first.

Very easy to deal with. What I thought might be a big deal wasn't- a clip had come off of a hose so water was draining below the kitchen sink instead of coming out of faucet.

Mike showed up and reinstalled the damaged clip temporarily, had me buy a new faucet the next morning and then installed it that next day. He didn't even charge me that night to reinstall the clip. I was charged the next day after the new faucet was installed and it was less than what I was quoted by another plumber I had called the night before.

We upgraded our kitchen faucet and needed it installed. I had used The Plumber in the past so I called and made an appointment. They were able to give an appointment the next day. I recently bought a home and our water heater went out. I decided not to use the home warrenty because they'd only fix a broken part. So I called The Plumber and they came out same day. They took a look and noted my water heaterwas very old. I said lets just replace the whole thing. Corry made a call and gave me quote which I accepted. The following day he came out and did a fantastic job for me. The old heater was out of code on several levels and Corry fixed all that too. When we took the old tank down it was extremely heavy despite being emptied and he noted it's filled with sediment, which would still be there if the warrenty company had their way. I'm glad I chose The Plumber, their service was prompt, the job was professional and Corry was an amazing guy who was awsome to spend the day with! I'll be calling them for all my future needs!

Ok I looked and saw soooo many negative reviews. I was a bit skeptical... One of my clients raved about these guys, their receptionist was super friendly.
I had minor stuff to be done- and if I was to fix it... ahhhh ya hot mess... google YouTube- I dont care- I would of messed things up.
So CORRY- showed up, super sweet guy, so nice- I highly recommend him. He didn't even roll his eyes at me and dang he had a top rated A+ flattop to boot!
Only downside- a bit pricey- but you know I say keep it local and support our local businesses!

I believe that a good company can only be measured in how they handle problems with the service. For this, I highly recommend The Plumber. They came out a couple of weeks ago and did some work on a toilet we have. Since the home is vacant we all left. I came back a couple of weeks later and it was still leaking.

Our water heater stopped working this past weekend. After a failed attempt to make it work, and 4 days of cold showers, I asked my wife to call a pro. I checked Yelp, and found these folks. Call the Plummer for a problem I had with my house main valve. He came inspected the problem an according to him the problem with my main valve was on the city side. So he charged me $95 just to come an look at the problem, had me called the city and said if they gave me trouble saying the problem was on my property side to give him a call back and he would come back fix the problem and use the $95 paid towards the fix of my valve. Called the city they came and took a look and main valve problem was on my property. Called the Plummer to come and fix the problem with my valve and left a message with his secretary, she said he will give us a call back as soon as he could. He didn't call the day I called back. Called again the next day, left a message again with his secretary and again same response from her but no call back from him. If he didn't want to do the work he could of just said so. Would definitely not recommend him, it goes to show that there is no professionalism on his side.

Water heater pilot wasn't staying lit...called American Home Shield and they sent The Plumber. Representative walked into our garage and without even checking the water heater, said, this water heater is done, it can't be fixed, you need a new one. I thought it was kind of strange, but figured he new what he was talking a bout.. so they sent the diagnosis to AHS and they told us it would cost over 1,000 dollars... fortunately we got a second opinion.. another plumbing company came and fixed it for 120.00, it didn't need to be replaced, it was just the thermocouple...

We were visiting my 82yo grandma for Christmas when we smelled gas outside. She has lost her sense of smell from age so we called immediately, since we had no idea how long this had been an issue. The gas company gave us a 4hr window for arrival and ultimately had the gas turned off for the night until we could get plumber help. BEFORE calling The Plumber, we called another 24hr service who basically said can we talk during normal business hours (yea no, they lost our business). The Plumber (the company) answered the phone immediately at 11pm and was extremely helpful and open. He encouraged me to call first thing in the morning to get on the schedule. When I called at 8am, they answered IMMEDIATELY and put us on the schedule. Brad arrived promptly 1hr later, assessed the situation, diagnosed the problem and came up with a plan to fix it. Ultimately, the issue was a corroded gas line that probably has been damaged for years (see photo) to the point that he could snap it by hand & showed us the hole where the gas was leaking out. Brad and his co-worker Paul, worked diligently all day and in less than 24hrs from the time of the original call to the gas company, we were back in business with gorgeous copper pipes and sealed back up with cement!!! Amazing, respectful, professional, highly communicative and charged the EXACT estimate- ZERO secret fees.
10/10 recommend.

We were having pressure issues to the house, and it was most likely the regulator where the water comes into the house. They sent a guy out next day, confirmed it was the regulator, made an appointment to fix it and actually were able to come before scheduled appointment. I actually was able to observe the process being nosy like i am and the gentleman doing the work allowed me to observe as i gave him his space. that said ours was a pretty tricky repair as the original builders did a fairly poor job on these houses in construction. I called them for assistance with turning off my water heater, and the gentleman over the phone was able to walk me through how to do it. They came over the next day, on time. I have used the The Plumber on several occasions and each one was a great experience. The technician (plumber) they sent out was always prompt, very professional, and cleaned up any mess they made. They do a great job of keeping the customer informed as to when they will arrive. No waiting around all day wondering when or if they will show up.

They are honest and will not do any unnecessary work. Last week, I was prepared to replace a leaky water heater and be out of water all day. But they diagnosed the problem as a line issue and had it replaced in just a few minutes.

I highly recommend them to anyone who needs plumbing services.

Insist on someone else! This company is the first selection that American Home Shield will send to your home for your plumbing needs. They are ok for simple tasks like replacing a faucet, etc, and for that I can't disagree with them having a star.
With that said, when there were serious problems, that is another story. On three separate occasions, they tried to charge an exorbitant amount for services that they consider outside of insurance coverage. What that means to the customer is that you pay the fee for them to come out, they tell you it's gong to cost X amount more, and you decline, and you paid for nothing. Happened to us three times, and twice I let them get away with it, but this last time was the last straw.
My home is less than 10 years old, they tried to say that if they replace my water heater, (which my insurance company was paying for the heater itself) that they wanted an ADDITIONAL $1200 to install it because they had to ensure it was up to code. I verified that our house is already up to code, so I'm not sure what they were talking about. Other than trying to blatantly rip us off. I've heard similar stories from this company from other local customers as well.
When you ask for service from American Home Shield, INSIST on another company. No one likes to be ripped off, maybe they'll be more honest in the future we all stay informed.

When you call this company, they talk a good game. All their prices are much higher than most of the plumbers in this area, so I expected better service. Not what I got at all! The two plumbers they sent were not professional in the way they spoke to me or the job they did. When I mentioned there was an issue with the repair, they told me to contact their boss, the owner. When I contacted their boss, he stated he could not do anything for me even when I took pictures of the spotty job. This place is a rip off. I should have read the reviews and called a more reputable place. This ruined my entire weekend.

I had them install a new water heater through American Home Shield. Aside of what AHS paid them, I had to pay them 700.00 for things that needed to be brought up to code. The installer did a great job and was very friendly. Out of the 700.00 I had to pay 195.00 for the permit. When I called the city for an appointment to inspect the water heater they told me that a permit only cost 49.00. I called The Plumber and asked why the charged me so much for the permit and their answer was labor charge to get Permit. WHAT???? The installer was great which is why I gave it 2 stars but I would never recommend this plumber to anyone. They are a ripoff.

I usually do my own plumbing but 'father time' has caught up with me and I didn't realize my limitations had changed until I was halfway into my (plumbing) project. I had a leaking sprinkler valve problem that had me scratching my head and we were leaving on vacation the next day. I saw The Plumber on Yelp and gave them a call. The dispatcher set me up between 2:30-6:00 pm that same day. Mark and Nic came by at 4 pm and I explained my plight. Mark diagnosed my issue and completely explained why things were happening and the exact fix. Knowing that I had done the existing valve work, he recommended I just do the fix and save some money. Had them go out to check on a toilet that kept water running in the tank on one of my rental properties. The plumber was knowledgeable and experienced however, he was charging me $305 for the issue to be rectify. I felt I needed a second opinion and ended up getting one the second plumber gave me a quote of just $60. The problem is solved and the toilet now works great. Not sure why this company would change me 5 times the price. Maybe they included a fee for the free inspection? Not to sure, but I would get a second opinion to make sure you are not getting ripped off.

I needed a plumber asap for a broken urinal at my office. I was dreading having already worked 11 hours and now having to wait for a plumber. I called my friend Andy and asked for a reliable local plumber who would come out after hours and he said call The Plumber! So I did! A few minutes later the Owner called me and said I'll have a guy out there within the hour to shut off the water. In my mind I'm dreading the thought of having to wait another hour for someone to come out. 15 minutes late Jim shows up, 2 minutes later he has the water shut off to the urinal and let's me know what the problem is. He didn't have the part tonight so he'll be back 1st thing in the morning to repair it. I am so grateful for this Company and how quickly (and affordable) they came to my rescue! I had my water heater break down and my warranty service recommended The Plumber. Within one day Brad showed up ready to diagnose the problem. I never give reviews on service but this is an exception!
Brad was polite, honest, and professional and more importantly, he knew his stuff! He took the time to explain what he was doing and why it was necessary. He didn't linger or work at turtle speed. He did the job with patience and diligence.
Most plumbers rush out the door leaving a messy cleanup but Brad made sure everything was operating perfectly and left the garage as clean as he found it. Thumbs up Brad! The Plumber is lucky to have you!

Had work done by them a few months ago through American home shield. The issue was not resolved and they came again. Every time they have come out they state an additional cost. Nothing is ever covered. My husband and I decided to call a plumber on our own, state our issues and they fixed it for $700 less than we were quoted and we haven't had this issue since. I highly recommend if they state you need hundreds of dollars worth of work get a second opinion.

After I managed to break the rough valve in my shower trying to replace the valve cartridge, leaving me without water. My bathroom started flooding early Sunday morning, and this is the second time within 2 years. Reluctant to call the previous plumber I had hired, whose also from Lancaster, I gave The Plumber a shot.

Called was answered right away, I was given 12-3 pm show up time frame, the plumber called around 2 to make sure that I haven't been forgotten (their previous client was taking longer than expected), and I think Mike (?) showed up around the time he said he would.

Same clog problem as last time, but the Plumber took lot less time and about 1/3 price of the previous plumber, which is great, because now I know who to call. I hate those businesses that really takes advantage of clients, but from this experience, I don't think The Plumber is one of those greedy place, SO, definitely will call again!

Really good note, the guy gave a coupon for future use! Gotta love coupons! :)

The Plumber has usually does a great job at fixing any plumbing issue that we have. It usually takes some time to schedule an appointment as I'm sure they are very busy. This has been a bit frustrating but my last experience with this company has completely changed my view. Not only did they send a technician out the next day (and accommodated my hours of availability) but the technician they sent was absolutely AMAZING! Richard Richardson was so knowledgeable and professional at his work. He had an absolutely infectious and positive personality and seemed as though he could have done his work with his eyes closed. Very nice guy. Enjoyed out conversation. Installed a new thermocouple, but couldn't get my water heater to stay lit. He gave it to me for free. I gave him a few bucks for his time, though, because he really worked hard to get my water heater to working. The next plumber I hired actually diagnosed the problem -- that the gas needed to be adjusted towards the pilot. The next plumber, Pennies, lit the water heater, but it didn't stay lit. Ended up calling the gas company, who fixed, seemingly, everything, and made sure everything was workign correctly.

American Home Shield assigned The Plumber to us for a leaky pipe. We've had trouble with their partner companies before so I was a little apprehensive... I was pleasantly surprised. I needed a new garbage disposal and to fix my tankless hot water heaters, and was referred to The Plumber by AHS insurance. Brad came out on time and provided an estimate. As the work began, it was obvious that when the house was built, the work was not within code. They worked with me on the price and all issues were resolved on time and below the quoted price. Had a new water heater fixed by the The Plumber back in May. While they were here my gate was broken. Jim was very concerned regarding the repairs on my gate. I told him not to worry I can get it fix have lifetime warranty on it. After getting the run around from Lowe's I had to call The Plumber and ask them if they would fix my gate. They sent there contractor out right away to check the gate out. The contractor tried to get ahold of the service guy at Lowe's several times. Finally I had to go speak to the manager to get something done. When I called The Plumber and told them how much it would be they sent a check to me within a week. The Plumber not only fixed my hot water tank but made good on fixing my gate. You can't find many places like this anymore. I would highly recommend The Plumber. Thank you

First, I didn't know why, with sixteen plumbing companies in Palmdale, American Home Shield would send someone from so far away. Hmm... They are a contractor for one of the worst home warranty companies around. (as I found out today.) Expect them to show up, not do much, fill out some paperwork, and leave without any of your problems being solved. They were honest, though. He kinda hinted about American Home Shield Warranty would have us pay for this and that to the end that I would be better off going at it alone without involving the warranty company. Learning experience. Sorry for the 2 stars, but guilty by association.

He came Friday afternoon, diagnosed the problem and informed us that our water heater had seen better days and that it was necessary to replace it. 10 Minute Response Time advertised??? This was definitely NOT our experience. We could barely get them here, with appointment made days in advance! We had a kitchen kitchen leak, and made appt on Friday for a Monday morning. We were told 8am-12pm. We asked for possible smaller time window. We were told not to worry, as we were the 1st job of the morning. Great! 8am, right? By 9:30am, and nothing, we called and were told on another job, wrapping up. Hmmmm??? Weren't we supposedly 1st in line they said? Anyway, at 9:33am, we received text that plumber was now 15 min away. A bit deflating, but we appreciated the text system, which included a photo of plumber, so Ok fine. By 10:45, still nothing. We call again, and were told Uhhh ...plumber was at your home at 9:30am, and no one was home. What??? We tell dispatcher we've been at the window since 8am, and watched every car come down our quiet cul de sac. Absolutely never left the house. Never even went upstairs to 2nd floor. We have dog that growls if a car just parks on the street near our home. Walk up the walkway, you definitely know it. Step on porch, he goes ballistic. Ring the bell, he pretty much needs a tranquilizer. Also, remember, we did not even inquire till 9:30 am, and at 9:33am, they sent text that plumber was yet 15 min away, about to leave another job. How does dispatcher have in record, that this guy was also at our home at 9:30 am? I tell dispatcher this is all untrue, explaining the above. While I am talking he HUNG UP ON ME!!!!! I couldn't believe! I'm going, Hello? Hello? By this time, just almost in tears. Leak has worsened, and may now miss important meeting. They ended sending someone at 12:45 pm. Whole morning wasted, missed the important meeting. The only reason for even 2 stars instead of one, is that the plumber was great. We would love it, if he worked independently. However, this review is for a terrible experience, and terrible customer service from the company itself , The Plumber, DBA Robco Enterprises. No matter how great the plumbers, if they allow such inefficiency and treatment by dispatchers, it makes the company a bad one, and negates the plumbers. From other reviews, my guess is this person either hasn't been there long doing this, or isn't there all the time. After developing such a headache brought on by this company, it would not be worth it to try them again.

This is our second time in 7 months, that we called for assistance from The Plumber. It should've been an easy repair for my husband, but our kitchen faucet was installed horribly by the builders and it was impossible for him to do the work himself. We were so happy to see James, our original plumber from our first call, we knew, before he even started that we were going to get great service again. Shockingly enough, we did. He explained things, did the work, and was just able to get everything fixed, all within the time frame we were told. I've read the not so good reviews and wish James had been their plumber, as well. I can agree, no one likes paying high prices, for anything, but I know, that the work will be good and I won't have to worry about having a problem later.

In addition we hired them to replace the regulator for our sprinkler system - which we knew was not covered by AHS. I had just moved in and the gas company came out to unlock and turn on our gas, only to have to shut it off due to a gas leak. The gas guy spent an hour with tools and gizmos looking for the leak, but found nothing. Called our home warranty and the best they could offer was to send a plumber out in three days. My handyman friends suggested The Plumber and we gave them a call. They were able to send someone out within the hour to take a look.

James took a look around and checked out the house and suggested we needed a main line replacement. I was skeptical at first because the gas guy found nothing with his sensors and hi-tech noise makers. The more we talked, the more things he said that lined up with what the gas man said. The main line wasn't wrapped. There was heavy corrosion. He gave us a quote, and encouraged us to shop around and get a second option and even suggested that we could significantly reduce the bill if I wanted to dig the trench myself. He also pointed us to a 10% off coupon for first time customers.

My contractor friends agreed with the diagnosis and gave us some ballpark quotes. We ended up going with The Plumber. Even though there were a few other hiccups in the repair, James worked with us on the price of the additional work (the previous owners did something funky when they did a garage conversion and we only found that problem when they started digging.)

James was very helpful. I am a handyman, but I know when I need to call for help. He never was annoyed with my questions or concerns. He would explain and show me what he was going to work on and what to expect when he was done. He never talked down to my fiance and she was very pleased with how open he was. He gave me some advise on things I should be aware of or fix down the road, but it wasn't an attempt to up sale.

I love knowing that I can handyman things around my house, but I am glad I know someone to call if I need backup. I would recommend them to my friends.

So I had these guys out a couple of times and they did a great job. The last time they came out to replace my main line, I had some concerns about the landscaping and the condition it was left in. I call FAHW, told them I have no hot water, they sent out Triple S Plumbing which after 5 days of this and that I called FAHW and told them I want a local plumber in the AV, they sent James from The Plumber on Sat night who assessed my issues, on Monday morning not only had he talked to my insurance, called and made sure Ferguson had the parts and talked to my Condo Association, by the time I got home at 4:15pm I had hot water after 7 days without hot water. This is an update to my last post. Even though they are still prompt and the plumber did fix everything I have a problem with what happened. I discovered that one toilet was stopped up, the other was leaking, and the shower was leaking. On December 28, 2019, I called The Plumber and the tech was out right away. I told him what was wrong and added how much would it be to replace the hand held water sprayer in the shower. He told me how much and I said never mind. I had saved $300 to contribute to my dental work and it was too much. The shower was easy. A bolt needed to be tightened and I'm just too short to reach it. He fixed both toilets then he came out & grabbed the sprayer and went back. I told him no but he did it anyway. When he came out I went to hand him my credit card and he said its been taken care of. I said no way and tried to hand him the card again and he said no, its been taken care of and he left. Now these things happen to other people not me, but it was the holiday season and sometimes businesses will do things for the disabled so I was grateful that I can begin work on my teeth. On December 31, 2019 I got a call from someone at The Plumber and he told me I owed $245 and when I was going to pay them. I told him the tech said it was taken care of. The person said it was a mistake, that the tech thought I had home warranty. Now I know this was a mistake but considering the time of year, etc, I would think everything would be double checked so there is no misunderstanding. Don't give people good news and then take it back. What was worse - they billed me for installing the sprayer even after I told the tech it was too expensive. Now that pissed me off. If I tell a tech not to do something because of the price don't do it and bill me. That was very underhanded in my opinion. I would still use them but I'm going to make sure how much entire bill is BEFORE the work, and if anyone does something I told him not to do, I'm not paying for it.

I came across this plumber because another plumber couldn't do the emergency job for me. I spoke with Robert and he sent over someone right away. James showed up right away. James is funny and confident and that helped ease the stress of the situation. James explained what the issues were in plain english and even drew a sketch to better help me understand what pipe he was going to fix and how. I have recommended The Plumber and James to several friends because over the past couple of years , thanks to bad old pipes, I have got to know and trust this company. They are not in the business of taking advantage of people. They just get the job done!

When we find honest local companies with great customer service at a fair price we like to let others know by recommending them and writing a review. The Plumber is one of the companies we trust. We had a flood from an upstairs bathroom. They had someone over in less than an hour to solve the problem. It was a broken pipe from the toilet. They completed the job the same day. He also recommended another company for the water damage to our home and called that company for us. We were also happy with the company they recommended. Very happy with the service and price. If you need a trust-worthy plumber, I recommend you call The Plumber.

Recently I use the plumber so I contacted again for another problem. This time I was so highly disappointed, after being provided a tentative quote by telephone, Mark came out to my location and gave me a quote twice as much. I asked him why the high quote, he stated because that's just what it is, his time, and that it was Saturday, and that it was an unusual size pipe. I was extremely perplexed by this, and once again asked exactly what details and, once again he replied the same thing. Turns out it was not an usual size pipe, and what does Saturday have to do with it as it is one of their business day. In addition, he smelled like alcohol , it was very condescending. What is more disappointed, is that I contacted the office and left several messages with my disappointment and concerns. To this day no one has called me back, how disappointing. Stay away from this business! By the way I used another camera, it was perplexed as to why then usual pipe common, and Saturday had nothing to do with it , and it cost a lot less than what The Plumber (Mark) had quoted. By the way, I forgot to mention, that half the work had been done, I had already dug up the hole and expose the pipe myself. And, Mark did not want to turn on the water frequency for him self worth and the leak was. He said he wasn't turn it on so he would have to dig out more water, unbelievable! So, he was going to fix something that he was not sure of where the leak was to see with his own eyes! Stay away! Or better yet, make sure they don't send Mark out to do your job

I had an appointment with James from The Plumber for our water hammer issues. He was very punctual. The issue seemed to be almost non-existent for unknown reason while he was here but he spent a good hour on finding out what caused it. We had another small project for him and after he finished it, he advised us to call his own number and let him know if the water hammer issue continues because we are a team, working on it together. We recently found that our former plumber that we had business with in the past 18 years out of business and we felt lost and worried to find a plumber we can trust. We are so relieved that we have someone like James at The Plumber that we can count on.

We had an ongoing garbage disposal problem at our home and through my home warranty service scheduled an appointment to have it fixed/repaired. On June 14, 2018 I scheduled an appointment to address the issue. My son was home when the technician arrived and unfortunately I was not. The technician arrived, took an allen wrench and cranked the disposal (which came on) and left. Did not check for any debris nor if it was working continuously. Nothing. This guy was the laziest, incompetent and useless plumber on the face of the earth. he was my house for all of 5 minutes. When we tried the garbage disposal when I got home, guess what, it did not work. We had been using an allen wrench to do the same exact thing he did and the problem was it would start once and that was it. I communicated this to both the home warranty service and the company to no avail. A monkey could have done what he did. Don't use this company. I had to use a different company to actually do the work properly. They came in and spent approximately 45 minutes working on the system, cleaning out debris and identifying and fixing the root cause of the problem. These guys, on the other hand, again, are useless and lazy and don't know wat they are doing.

American Home Shield contractor. Had a leaking toilet. Told us we needed to rip up the floor and replace everything and bring in his buddy to redo it all (out of pocket of course, damage is not covered under the warranty), then put a used part on to replace the leaking line. We told him to leave. Our general contractor who was already doing work on the house fixed the problem for us, and the floor did not need to be replaced. Be wary.

James arrived after another plumber had told me the job couldn't be done. The minute he arrived he said that he could fix it and HE DID JUST THAT. The other company said no and James proved them wrong! I've never reviewed on Yelp before but this company and James deserves the highest recognition for a job very well done. This is the only company I will use for my plumbing needs from this day forward!

All the good reviews must have come from their friends. This company is contracted through American Home Shield. It's the only plumber that AHS allow you to use in our area. My water heater went out on my home and should be covered fully under the AHS policy but this company charged me an extra $360.00 for a couple $12.00 pipers. They called it modification. This is their way of robbing you for more money. If you don't pay for the modification then you don't get the new water heater. The plumber they sent was also trying to scare me and tell me about mold that he supposedly didn't know much about but continued to lecture me about. He said that I needed to contact their buddy's att TCC Construction and until I have the drywall repaired they will not replace the water heater. TCC sent out a guy that said that they would have to rip out the dry wall under the water heater and all around the wall, insolation and inside the home, although the water heater was in the garage. This would cost me $2,000 if I was to pay cash but if I went with my home owners insurance it would cost $4,000. So Red tape because the AHS will not replace the water heater until you pay for the modification and replace the dry wall. There was nothing wrong with the drywall, we ended up buying a $10.00 piece of drywall from Home Depot to replace it. We only needed half a sheet, which cost us $5.00. We sprayed the area with bleach and water and used fans overnight. It was perfectly fine. They just want to drum up false repairs to part the customer out of his money. I called other companies and told them what I was up against with The plumber and they agreed that it is not the way they do business, this was a scam. Customer's beware you are being up charged for things you do not need. If you have AHS then they have you by the BALLS! Do yourself a favor avoid, avoid avoid. Another review to fallow since I have used them twice.

Outstanding!! My husband and I just moved in to our new home we purchased about 3 weeks ago. I had to call these guys for two different reasons in the three days we've been here and so grateful that they exist! Talk about honest plumbers! First time I called was the day we moved in. The laundry was set up for an electric dryer so I had to have them set up a gas line from the water heater for the dryer. The plumber not only set up the line but set up my dryer!! I didn't even know he did that until he was done! So thankful. He could have set up the line and called it a day and collected his hourly rate; instead he used the time to really help me out. The second time I called was on day three of actually living in our new home. I took a shower and noticed the drain was clogging up and the toilet was bubbling. I got out and saw that the other bathroom shower had water in it. The crew came, I and explained what was happening. My husband was at work so they had to explain to me what was wrong and they did in the best way for someone who doesn't understand plumbing. They were upfront with the price and didn't demand more money as the job went on. They were extremely clean and cautious of closing my front door so my cat didn't get out. I called around 2 and they came about an hour and a half later, on the same day! They gave suggestions on how to prevent the problem from happening again. Very helpful. Just so grateful for honest, hard working men who take pride in what they do. Given that we just bought this home and don't want or need unexpected costs, I'm very happy that these guys were upfront about pricing, clean and knowledgable. If I ever need a plumber again these guys are on my speed dial. Thank you!

Drains were all backed up on a holiday (of course), sent a quote request around 7 am, got a response immediately with a reasonable price. Naturally, on my 65+ year old house, the fix wasn't so simple, but they still got the job done nicely at a fair price. Definitely will call them again if ever needed.

I called nick at The Plumber he not only was able to come out within the hr. He fixed the problem while doing everything to keep my cost down instead of the typical ones I'd talked to that insisted it would b more. He was so honest n did great work. I don't know if they r all as great as Nick. But I would definitely recommend him if u ever have a plumbing prob. He was the best I've ever dealt with.

Thanks for the great service. I had a unit that needed to be unclogged and not being able to contact any of my regular plumbers I decided to give them a call. The gentlemen over the phone gave me a reasonable quote and the very same day within hours they were at the unit. They were very professional and although the plumber who showed up to the unit quoted me a different price, when I told him the original quote he was more than willing to honor their word. He was able to unclog the pipe with no extra charge. I am more than happy with their service and hope to use them in the future. Thank you once again.

I'm extremely dissatisfied with this company. My initial purpose of contacting them was to have them do a simple replace/instal of a bathtub water valve. Though they did show up on time, were friendly and courteous... something seemed wrong when he told me that he replaced the broken valve I had initially contacted them about, but now there was an additional problem that would cost $750 to fix. He realized while inspecting that the valve seat body was also broken, which was causing my faucet to slowly leak even after the replacement of the broken valve I had initially contacted them for replacement of. Oddly this wasn't leaking or broken prior to him arriving, but Oh well, he's the professional. His Yelp! Reviews are all good and he seems trustworthy. So I advised him to proceed on the next day that he was available for this large job that would require him to tear open my bathroom wall and charge me a small fortune. Shortly after he left, my faucet that was supposedly just fixed began flowing with water uncontrollably. This was a big problem because my entire family still needed to shower in the morning, and not having running water would have been a bit of an issue for my beautiful wife who is 8 months pregnant! I course decided to see if there was anything I could do prior to his arrival the following day to make this time with out water more bearable for my wife. I shut off the water at the street and after a few quick turns of a screwdriver and wrench, was able to inspect the inside workings of my new valve, seat, and supposedly broken seat valve body. It was easily apparent that I still had a broken seat which was causing the leak, and even odder was just replaced, or so I was told. I replaced this $2 seat, put back together the valve, and finished everything up. My faucet was now working perfectly. No leaks what so ever. I called the plumber and cancelled our appointment for the next day. To put it lightly, my wife and toddler children were very pleased to find a working shower & tub in the morning. YEAH!! Daddy's a Hero! I was even happier to dodge an unnecessary &750 bill... the kids will be getting Christmas presents this year after all! What I'm extremely displeased about is that this plumber is either a bold faced liar & rip-off, or completely un qualified to diagnose and repair a simple leaky faucet. He was ready to proceed with a lengthy & costly $750 repair, that I myself with no plumbing experience was able to fix for less than $2 and 15 minutes of my time. I would not recommend this company to anyone!

I called The Plumber at 6:00pm and Brad Wade arrived at 7:00pm and fixed my problem in 20 minutes. The technician at The Plumber was polite, professional, and reasonable for the job I had. I had a mainline blockage that backed up both of my toilets and clogged a tub. I went to YouTube first and watched a variety of do it yourself videos before calling a professional company. I put on my latex gloves, leaned my mop against the wall, and tried snaking my toilet after plunging it. I even used a waterproof wireless inspection camera that I purchased at Harbor Freights to search for any toy blockage (courtesy of my 1 year old). After all that, Nothing! That's when I realized I was over my head, through in the white towel, and began searching for a professional company. I searched the Services column under skill'd trade on Craigslist and came up with the same company advertising clearing any drain for $29.95. I quickly found out that the any drain really means $29.95 per clogged item and did not include a clogged mainline. At 9:00am I call this $29.95 company, which was sorta rude, and let me know that someone will arrive at 1:30pm. At 5:00pm, I was told that they were busy and will send someone out first thing in the morning. That's when I called The Plumber and my problem was solved quickly.

Great service! Called another plumber before I called here and the other plumber told me I need to repipe the whole house.... Quoted about $5500 to repipe. So I decided to get a second opinion. I called the plumber and they came within 30 mins! Brad was the tech that came he was friendly, approachable, and knowledgeable. He found a bad leak in my kitchen sink pipe that the previous plumber didn't find and he said the main leak in the bathroom was fixable without re piping the whole house contrary to what the other plumber said.. Brad explained everything to me and didn't make me feel dumb like the other guys, he gave me an estimate that is well below what the other guys said and he made me feel reassured. Overall I can't review the work bc we still need to call back to schedule the work to be done but if their work is anything like what I have experienced so far I'm sure I will be pleased! I will update the review once the work is done! Call them u won't be disappointed! Thank you Brad!
