We had several electrical outlets that lost power. Anthony came out and diagnosed the problem quickly and gave a reasonable estimate for repair. He was able to finish the job about an hour after he came out. Thanks again

Great electrician and very fast! Came relatively on time and brought own equipment. I had minor work done with my breaker box and he knew right away what the issue was. We will use Lam again for future electrical work!

We used Clever Electric to install a new sub panel and grounding conductor for our 50 years old rental.  This was the second time we use them.  Our experience with them both times were very pleasant.  My, the owner, was very reliable and professional.  The rates were reasonable.  We would definitely use them again.

Francisco sent his crew back to retest the system, found out that the micro inverters were the issue. Since they are still under warranty  the manufacturer will replace all 24 micro inverters for me. It will take 2-4 weeks for them to ship. But for now I have 3 new inverters working that Francisco was kind enough to let me use it while waiting for the replacement.

Rob did an excellent job with installing a new electrical outlet in our laundry room and securing (boxing?) as well as cleaned up exposed wiring in our garage that was done by the previous owner of our new house. His work is very clean. If there was a mess at all, he cleaned up after himself and I really appreciate that.

Unfortunately, the reason for the 3 stars and not 5 is because the main reason that we called him was to fix a problem with the outlets in our kitchen. There is some sort of short that disabled most of the outlets. Can't make coffee, cook rice, toast bread, use the microwave.... it is almost an essential part of every day life. He tried to troubleshoot the problem and even had gotten one (out of 4) of  the outlets to work. He was short on time that day and told me that he'd give us a call to set up another time to finish up his work... but after one week of waiting, we never heard from him.

Not upset that he couldn't finish his work that day, but wish he could have at least called and told us his situation or just told us if he couldn't do the work that we asked him to do. At least it would have saved us time and we would have had someone else come to fix the problem for us. Instead, we were left hanging for a week unable to use half of our kitchen.

I think Arkadiy is a nice guy and he did a great job on a couple small jobs I had that needed fixing. He was great with communication, came when we agreed upon, and price was what he quoted. He is down to earth and knowledgeable about his work. I would definitely use him again for future electrical needs.

He did a great job with a room full of bad outlets, and an electric car charger install. Price was very competitive, and responsiveness was great too.

The owner Vinh came out to give me an estimate within 2 hours of sending him a request. I told him the scope of work and he said he would send me an estimate later. But now, after several attempts at contacting him, I am yet to hear from him. I understand he might have a full schedule but even as little as a line saying, Sorry, we're not available, would've been great. I am sorry and sad to give less than 5 stars to a local business but a lack of communication, in my book, is a big no-no and a red flag.

Mike Fisher came today to replace our Solar Edge Single Phase Inverter that had quit working.  He was on time and so easy to communicate with.  He helped us understand the system and was prompt about fixing it!  I'd give him a call without hesitation!  Shows so much integrity!

I tired to do a repair myself and quickly realized i had no clue what i was doing. Thankfully Dan called me right away and helped with the job. I was so thankful; really didn't want wires hanging around my children.  I will only use Charles Electric from now on and they will be my first recommendation. I am so grateful for the quick response and help

Brian was awesome. I called about stripped screwholes in an electrical box, thinking I'd have to replace the entire box, which would've been a pain. He took the time to talk me through the problem, quote me over the phone, and even stopped by same-day to take a look at the issue.

Funny enough, he came up with a quicker, infinitely cheaper solution, and solved it for me. Not only that, but I even learned a nifty new trick to fixing stripped screwholes that I'll definitely use in the future. Can't recommend him enough.

Finding an electrician or a specialist for networking gear can be challenging.  Luckily for me, I was able to connect with Felipe from Almighty Electric, Inc.  From our first conversation, I knew I was dealing with someone that was honest, fair, and very professional.

My project entailed installing indoor access points, and one outdoors.  Cutting into sheetrock, running CAT6 cable in-wall, and in my attic is no easy feat.  I knew that selecting the right company/installer would be critical to not only my wireless network but also the overall aesthetics of my home.

After discussing all the logistics of the installation with Felipe, he provided me with a very competitive quote as well as a detailed list of the materials needed.  We agreed on a date and time to kick things off, and the rest is history!  Felipe and his crew arrived on time, executed their plan, and got my network up and running.  They work efficiently and very meticulously.  They covered all of their work areas to make sure my floors were protected at all times.  If you are looking for an honest electrician that does great work, give AEI a call.

Jay was able to drop by (on the same day as my call) and diagnosed my issue (kept getting circuit breaker to trip when I attempted to turn on the air conditioner). He removed the electrical connection to the air conditioner, and was able to declare that the power from my house is clean.  Jay next checked the air conditioner electrical leads and found that there is a short, which could be isolated to a bad capacitor.  He suggested to bring in an HVAC contractor to diagnose the issue from the air conditioner unit.  Best case... replace the capacitor and test.  Worst case... replace the entire air conditioner compressor unit.  Very competent expert in his field!

When I was preparing my house for sale, a home inspector surprised me by informing me the electrical panel was substandard and needed replacement.  The first contractor I contacted, a specialist in such replacements, told me the panel had to be moved to meet code, the only suitable spot was in front of the house, but the City would not approve placement there due to esthetics.  He advised me to apply for a variance with the Planning department, which he predicted would take five months, and after that to call him again.  Needless to say, I checked with multiple other contractors and heard other opinions, but did not find one I trusted who seemed to know what they were talking about and quoted a reasonable price.  They all expected me to obtain approvals from the electrical supplier and government entities before they would start work.  Finally, I called Five or Free Electric.

The experience with Five or Free was a cut above all the others. They were prompt, confident, knowledgeable, and assured me they would handle any and all contact with government inspectors and PG&E.  Their price was comparable with that quoted by the expert I had first talked with.  Above all, they were true to their word, performing excellent work in accord with the timetable they had proposed.  Gilbert, Josh, Allan and Tim were all courteous, prompt, helpful and totally professional.  Ethan did a great job managing the project.  These guys know what they are doing and know the City inspectors; the inspectors know them and know they do great work so everything went extremely smoothly.  I am so glad I engaged Five or Free Electric.

Miro came and helped with a complex job - an emergency on the Saturday of a Holiday weekend.  He was great, and educated me along the way about everything he was doing.  I would highly recommend!

Just moved into a house last month in San Jose. We had everything gutted and renovated but when we plugged in our computers, everything would shut off. We couldn't figure out why, but we called in some electricians to give us bids on resolving the issue. Sonny gave us a really fair bid. Apparently the electrical box we had was so old it couldn't support the amount of electricity we needed to use. We had to have a larger, updated- to-current-code, electrical box installed.

Sonny finished the job in one day and was very professional from start to finish. He was also nice to our household pets (3 dogs and a fat cat) and they didn't mind him after the initial meeting. We even had the hidden nanny cameras on and were watching him (we've come across too many service providers that haven't been nice to the dogs). No problem whatsoever. We also had my brother come check the work - he was a licensed commercial electrician but went into another field - Sonny's work passed his inspection too.

Our computers and other electronic devices are all working simultaneously now and this is an enormous relief because my husband and I both work from home via computer/internet.
