I highly recommend Odom Electric. My husband and I embarked (foolishly) on a DIY remodel for our kitchen and living space. We needed extensive electrical work because, not only were we installing new light fixtures, we thought it would be fun to rearrange our kitchen appliances, move receptacles, move our dryer, add numerous receptacles and light switches, install a new electrical panel, install recessed lighting, put up security lights, and run electricity to our shed in the backyard.

Rob did not miss a beat--even when I told him we had no plans and then quickly drew an electrical work map on graph paper. He was flexible and super pleasant to work with. I had a great experience with Sepanta Electric. The other day I needed an electrician for an emergency situation and they were able to send me an electrician within a couple of hours. There was a little work involved but still required an expert. He finished the whole thing in 5 minutes or so and had to use some material too. But at the end he didn't take anything for his time and expertise, and said maybe next time. I'm sure there'll be a next time.

Nor-Cal Painting just finished the exterior painting on our single-family home in south San Jose.  Vinh, the owner, brought the five-man crew to work continuously from start to finish.  They were all professional, courteous, respectful, and careful.  As expected, they pressure washed, scraped chips/cracks, sealed, then painted.  IMO, the quality of paint and the quality of the work is certainly better than the original coat from original builder, thus, we are very happy with the work.

Vinh is a cheerful, patient, and good listening.  He explained the process, listened to feedback and either responded quickly or logically explained his counter points to our satisfaction.  He encouraged us to proactively view their work and provide feedback regularly so they could take corrective measure quickly.  I believe close cooperation was the formula for successful outcome.

Their quote was in the mid-range, I would say.  There were lower quotes, but we fully got the quality and the peace of mind, certainly commensurate with what we paid for.

I would use this shop again for our future projects, and would highly recommend.

Dan Charles came out recently to do the first maintenance service of our Generac generator, as well as that for our neighbor.  It was very easy to schedule an appointment with him. He clearly communicated with us from start to finish and arrived at exactly the scheduled time.  He is very friendly, approachable and knowledgeable.  He completed the work in a timely fashion and gave us information and tips about how to best manage our generator system.  He also pointed out an installation flaw that had the potential to be problematic in the future.  In addition, his fees are reasonable.  We will definitely use Dan and his company for our future generator and electrical installation/problem-resolution needs.

Brian was a great local electrician, he came and did a free consultation on electrical problems with our lights, and found one didn't need to be replaced, and then came by quickly to replace the others after we bought replacement lights. He was very courteous, knowledgeable, and conscious of fair pricing for his services.

Now our kitchen and bathroom shine brighter (and happier) than ever.

Finding an electrician or a specialist for networking gear can be challenging.  Luckily for me, I was able to connect with Felipe from Almighty Electric, Inc.  From our first conversation, I knew I was dealing with someone that was honest, fair, and very professional.

My project entailed installing indoor access points, and one outdoors.  Cutting into sheetrock, running CAT6 cable in-wall, and in my attic is no easy feat.  I knew that selecting the right company/installer would be critical to not only my wireless network but also the overall aesthetics of my home.

I called BV yesterday after the power went out in half my kitchen. They were able to schedule me in for today, and quickly and efficiently diagnosed and solved the problem.

Everyone I've met from there - including today's team, Miro, Jonny, and Carlos - provides terrific customer service, and they are always happy to explain what they are doing, which is great for me, since as far as I am concerned electricity is one step removed from scary magic.
