My and his team are very professional and efficient execution. I had rewiring done for my entire home, new panel, adding new power outlets in kitchen, outdoor and several rooms, add grounding to all outlets in home and also fixed some wiring issues in two way switch in attic. They cleaned up place every day after work and I did not have to move out during entire work as they provided temporary power to refrigerator and important areas. I would recommend my and his team for all electrical work.

Francisco sent his crew back to retest the system, found out that the micro inverters were the issue. Since they are still under warranty  the manufacturer will replace all 24 micro inverters for me. It will take 2-4 weeks for them to ship. But for now I have 3 new inverters working that Francisco was kind enough to let me use it while waiting for the replacement.

This review is overdue but my experience with Odom Electric has been excellent -- every time.  

We first worked with Rob Odom when installing new lighting throughout the kitchen and living room.  Rob is a straight shooter and was professional all the way.  he took care of things like he was working on his own house.  We had special ordered a chandelier that arrived a couple days after the other lighting work was completed and paid.  I was going to put it up since it arrived late -- but he said it was part of the job and came out to hang it.  Aren't contractors supposed to disappear after you pay?.... not Rob.

Later I had to call him up after I drilled into an electrical line while installing shelves in the soon-to-be baby room.  Rob was able to come out -- arrived on time and knocked out the work at a great price.  He didn't bust my chops about my bone-headed mistake and ran a new line in no time.  My pregnant wife was relieved to know we had safe wiring once again.

Last we contacted Odom electric to move some electrical switches and add new outside lighting.  What i really appreciate about Rob is he took the time to come out and assess the job and give me a detailed quote.  He listens and is totally willing to discuss options -- and not just the ones that make it easiest for him.  The work he did was excellent, clean and professional.

I consider myself a competent do-it-myself man (ah ok, the previous drill meets electrical line incident is not representative) but when it comes to electrical work, its awesome having a good electrician I trust to do professional work at a more than honest and fair price.  I don't hesitate at all in recommending Odom Electric to friends and folks needing an electrician.

We used Arkadiy several times. He is very reliable, provides clear estimates, does very good job and is very thorough. The best part is that he always has great suggestions, most of which saved us some money and resulted in major improvements.

Ben at Sepanta Electric was fantastic. I would use him on electrical + install projects again, no question.

I needed to install a fan that had a remote control. After several inquiries, Ben was the only one willing to stop by and assess the project in person. He articulately explained what was needed to finish the project, laid out his rate (which was reasonable) and made himself available to finish the project same day because he had the time in his schedule to do so. Ben finished the project and the fan works great. He was very considerate start-to-finish.

I'm currently remodeling my house and have hired Vinh to paint the entire home interior and kitchen cabinet install.  I have to say that Vinh is very easy to work with.  He listens and wants to make the homeowner as happy as possible.  Every project has its share of problems and I've had plenty.  But Vinh never complained about having to go the extra mile to get the job done the way the homeowner wants it.  Many contractors will do it their way and not be so accommodating as Vinh has been.  He shows up everyday and does what he's supposed to do.  So far so good.  I will update this post once my project is completed.  In the meantime, I definitely will use Vinh again and give him referrals to my friends.

Dan fit me into his packed schedule (typically booked a week or two out, it helped that I was so close to his home base on the coast) to check out a circuit feeding my water well pump that was constantly going out. He is responsive, friendly, adds humor, and will happily educate you on what he's doing and has helpful advice for all things electrical. He found the breakers were going bad and had replacements installed right away. He even noticed the power meter next to my panel was not properly mounted exposing the equipment behind the cover to the elements and fixed that too. You definitely want an electrician focused on safety and he also took some pictures to document his work (attention to detail and thorough!).  I wouldn't hesitate to bring honest, hard working folks like Dan future business.

Brian was awesome. I called about stripped screwholes in an electrical box, thinking I'd have to replace the entire box, which would've been a pain. He took the time to talk me through the problem, quote me over the phone, and even stopped by same-day to take a look at the issue.

Funny enough, he came up with a quicker, infinitely cheaper solution, and solved it for me. Not only that, but I even learned a nifty new trick to fixing stripped screwholes that I'll definitely use in the future. Can't recommend him enough.

Finding an electrician or a specialist for networking gear can be challenging.  Luckily for me, I was able to connect with Felipe from Almighty Electric, Inc.  From our first conversation, I knew I was dealing with someone that was honest, fair, and very professional.

My project entailed installing indoor access points, and one outdoors.  Cutting into sheetrock, running CAT6 cable in-wall, and in my attic is no easy feat.  I knew that selecting the right company/installer would be critical to not only my wireless network but also the overall aesthetics of my home.

After discussing all the logistics of the installation with Felipe, he provided me with a very competitive quote as well as a detailed list of the materials needed.  We agreed on a date and time to kick things off, and the rest is history!  Felipe and his crew arrived on time, executed their plan, and got my network up and running.  They work efficiently and very meticulously.  They covered all of their work areas to make sure my floors were protected at all times.  If you are looking for an honest electrician that does great work, give AEI a call.

Jay did a fantastic job for us. We had to take care of the kitchen light asap as we were ready to put our house on the market very soon. He was able to put us in his very busy schedule and did our job the very next day. He quoted us a very comparative price for the job .. I would highly recommend him ..

I had previously reached out to five or free for a quote but eventually had my solar company that was doing work include what I'd reached out to Five or Free for.
I decided to give them another shot for a very very simple job. Probably should've done it myself all said and done. I was quoted $225 for literally 20-30mins worth of work. Cutting an existing wire that had been wired to the dishwasher and installing an outlet box for what I thought was needed for code.  
Seemed like a high quote for a 1/2hrs time but decided to give them the chance. After the work was done
1) i was disappointed to learn I didn't need to have this work done, it would've been fine to wire the new dishwasher directly the way the prior unit had been. It actually made our dishwasher install unnecessarily harder. Also disappointed because I feel I'd obviously overpaid, AND our quoting rep could've better educated us rather than making a quick buck. I'm in sales, I'm well versed in educating customers on what's right / needed for a job vs just pushing a sale.
2) install rep gets a 4/5. Quick and professional but didn't put the box where we'd expected or hoped. With the dishwasher plugged in we actually can't set the washer back far enough due to the plug hitting the back of the unit. So I'll end up having to rewire the dishwasher with a flat plug.

4* review is a fair representation. They are nice guys, professional, I appreciate the customer service response times(top notch) and that the job got done. But I likely won't use again. This isn't a dig or request for compensation. Just a full honest review.

I called BV electrics saturday afternoon because my doorbell stopped working.  They were able to schedule an appoint Monday afternoon.  I asked if an early appointment became to please call.  45 min before my scheduled appoint Rigo called me and said he could come early and would be at my apartment in 20 min.  He was very friendly, fast and efficient and best of all I have a working doorbell now.

Just moved into a house last month in San Jose. We had everything gutted and renovated but when we plugged in our computers, everything would shut off. We couldn't figure out why, but we called in some electricians to give us bids on resolving the issue. Sonny gave us a really fair bid. Apparently the electrical box we had was so old it couldn't support the amount of electricity we needed to use. We had to have a larger, updated- to-current-code, electrical box installed.

Sonny finished the job in one day and was very professional from start to finish. He was also nice to our household pets (3 dogs and a fat cat) and they didn't mind him after the initial meeting. We even had the hidden nanny cameras on and were watching him (we've come across too many service providers that haven't been nice to the dogs). No problem whatsoever. We also had my brother come check the work - he was a licensed commercial electrician but went into another field - Sonny's work passed his inspection too.

Our computers and other electronic devices are all working simultaneously now and this is an enormous relief because my husband and I both work from home via computer/internet.

Without hesitation, I recommend Sonny and SJ Rios Electric for electrical work.
