I needed a sensor light installed above my garage, and also a new outdoor lantern replaced.

Contacted Fred's Handyman Services, received a reasonable quote with a detailed breakdown of the services to be provided, and booked an appointment.

Jay came out, explained exactly what he was going to do, and the approx time frame it would take.

Several hours later he was done, and I am very pleased with his work.

I have called on David several times in the last two years, as I have been gradually updating my home.  First, and most simply, David is one of the few contractors I have worked with who actually picks up his phone when I call.  If you live in the Bay Area, you will know how rare this is.  He has always performed beautiful and detailed work.  David also single-handedly saved my thanksgiving when I managed to fry my breaker panel the day before, and he came out the same day to get my house back in running order.

I was about to give up till I got to Mopia Electric.  Randy was great. By the time I got to him I have had 3 other electricians from Yelp come over to look at the electrical problem .  Saying that i wasn't impressed with any of them would be a gross understatement.  Randy gave me a fair and competitive estimate. He was always on time and got the work done as expected. He followed up with all my concerns and questions. I intend to use his services again.

Juan and his team are beyond good. I had a lot of electrical panel and circuit work to do. Had several companies come out who wanted to charge huge rates and create a complicated process.
Juan is very knowledgeable, thorough, honest and took care of the job for a fair price without over engineering things as can be possible to do with electrical work.  He's done work for my family now as well.  I'm very picky about who works on my home (or who I refer!) and I trust Juan implicitly

Jeremy promptly returned my call and came out to our home the same day to provide me with estimates. We upgraded our electrical sub panel (which was a fire hazard), installed LED lighting, rewired a couple switches, and installed a whole house fan. The fans that Jeremy uses are quality made, super quiet and very efficient. Our house feels significantly cooler when we use it. We were considering an a/c unit but I'm not sure we need one anymore. Troy and his crew arrived promptly the day of and took care to cover and move the furniture. They worked efficiently and cleaned as each job was finished. Any concern I had was immediately addressed. Jeremy followed up when the job was done and immediately sent someone over the following day to take care of some finishing work. I needed an electrical outlet installed higher on the wall to go behind a wall mounted television.  It was a pretty simple job, and I was able to explain the scope via email.

Most other contractors wanted to send out an estimator and have me call them.  It probably would have cost them more time to travel out to my house than they would actually make on the job.

I wrote the request on Saturday night, and Hancock responded immediately.  He quoted $200 via Yelp and arrived Sunday morning on time.  He did the project in about an hour, with no mess or hassle.  I'll definitely be checking these guys out again the next time I need electrical done at my house.

I've had Steve and Mike of Southwest Electric work on my house multiple times, and they do really terrific work.

They can do a wide range of jobs, including simple home fixes to They are a locally-owned business, extremely personable, and very professional in their work. Steve (the owner) always comes out personally to check on the job, and they get things done promptly and correctly. As my house is a 1970's era house, it really helps to have somebody who knows all the particulars (oddities?) of how the wiring works in the neighborhood.

I've had SW Electric work on my pool equipment, my interior lighting, add a ceiling fan, add attic fans, etc -- their prices are always reasonable and they take care of me quickly.

We had a major problem with our water softener tank, and Marcos Escobar, a Bellows Plumbing, Heating, Cooling & Electrical representative, came to our home in Santa Cruz County to help fix it.  Not only was he punctual, he was polite and very knowledgeable with our unit and our problem. He also called with a follow-up the following day with further information as promised. I highly recommend this professional company who is also organized with retuning telephone calls or emails.

Five or Free Electrical Solutions were wonderful to work with. Sal came out and gave a quote for the work, he was professional and knowledgeable. Alex Gonzalez was the technician who moved my lighting fixture to be centered over my dining table. He was on time, polite and also very professional. The work was precise and he cleaned up after like it never happened. I would recommend this team for any electrical needs.
