Fred is truly a professional, and has great communication. I had tons of questions and was debating if I should get just a light fixture or a ceiling fan with lights. He recommended numerous ceiling fans from Home Depot, and I decided to get a Hampton Bay ceiling fan. We kept in contact up until the day of installation. Everything went well up until we ran into a problem with dimming the lights, the LED bulbs that came with the fan were not dimmable! A few days later, I stopped by Home Depot to pick up some dimmable bulbs, and he walked me through the entire process starting from turning off the fuse box switch, to wiring the adjustable switch. He literally took time out of his day to guide me through the entire process. He even came by the next day to install wire twist connectors because I didn't not have any. He was very talkative and friendly up until the moment he left. Fred is the MAN. If you're looking for any type of work around the house. Contact him! You won't regret it!

David is a pro. I had him install a subpanel in my garage, and run a few new circuits off it; one for a garage heater, another for future 240v shop outlets, and some 110 circuits. He handled all of it and it's awesome.

They say in construction it's about time, cost and quality - you get to choose two.  Somehow with Safety First you'll be getting all three!  Ronnie came to my house to give me a quote for a new EV home charger and the rest was history.  He walked me through the process and was able to explain complex electrical concepts so that they made sense and I was able to make informed decisions about how to proceed.  After careful decision making, Ronnie and I agreed that a panel upgrade made the most sense for my aging home.  He was also able to help install an additional 220 outlet that will now allow me to move my dryer away from natural gas and make the most of my solar.  He was also able to install BEAUTIFUL recessed lighting throughout our home, something that had previously be a low point of our home's aesthetics.  Finally, Ronnie was able to install a gorgeous chandelier over our kitchen table that utilizes stunning Edison bulbs.  I seriously feel like I live in a brand new home thanks to Safety First!

I contacted Larry for a simple, small job that I got stuck on, which most companies didn't want to entertain. I needed a neutral wire to make a switch work and he work with me to come up with some alternatives.

Have been living at my current resident for more than 10 years, and never had any problems except circuit breaking pop and reset. This time the electricity wasn't working, and Mopia guys found a potential fire hazard that whoever install this outlet upstairs was a Moran. Replaced and installed new wiring that made everything work again. The boss or owner was professional and check on me after job was done. I will hire these guys again. The other thing I like about the service is, that they put booties on their shoes so they don't track crap all over my house. Thanks guys

Robert is an honest, reliable and trustworthy guy. He was the first to respond to my project inquiry on Yelp and gave a very reasonable diagnostics quote while others who offered their services quoted 10 times more than he did without even seeing or knowing the issue.
He was able to accommodate his schedule to my availability and was prompt and professional.
Aside from the main project I had him fix, my brother also took the opportunity to have him check other electrical issues we had at our residence and he worked on them immediately and made sure things that needed replacing were replaced according to code.
And the final price? Absolutely reasonable and not far from his initial quote, including the additional cost of replacements.

I am very happy with Antonio's work on our opened drywall ceiling. The final outcome is what I wanted. It is hard to imagine there was any opening there at all. He  closed it, matched the texture, went same evening to  a store and bought some paint.  He was going back and forth to his car for tools and never forgot to wear shoe protectors. He fixed the light that was not working too. It was ultra easy to hire him. I think I got lucky on one of those crazy rainy days. He responded to my message very quickly and was at my place fixing the ceiling in like 1.5 hours. Wow. I was trying to hire the drywall guy here at yelp for a week going back and forth through his manager and I hired Antonio in a blink of an eye. The bonus: he charges very reasonably. I liked his attitude and demeanor as well. I cannot thank Antonio enough and plan to hire him for more projects around my house.

Juan was professional, thorough and beyond reasonable in terms of rates. He's my electrician going forward! Can't recommend him enough.

Four four years, I have had problems with my furnace/AC unit. I have had three companies come out and have a look at it. BAM was the fourth.

For each one, the furnace was fixed and worked for a short time, or not fixed at all. Sometimes it worked for one hour, and sometimes it worked for a few months. The majority of the time in our house the heat and A/C would not work. Each person who came had a different explanation of the problem. Each one charged about $125 for service regardless of the quality of service they provide.

One company charged to tell me that my thermostat was broken (which was obvious) and they could not even look at the heater with that broken thermostat. An electrician told me that I would need to replace the wires in my walls, and tear apart my plaster walls with custom paint.

I was dreading having to find a fourth person - while being bedridden sick and with my house getting colder, preparing to host a holiday party I desperately called around. I was not sure whether the problem was electrical or furnace.

I called BAM. They called me back in a timely manner. The service guy was so kind to make room in his schedule to come to my house the next day! On such short notice, they were one of the few places I called who were willing to deal with furnace and electrical problems.
Their business model is a free estimate of work to be done, at which point the client could decide.

The guy came right on time. He checked at least four points where there could be a problem and described everything he was doing. He checked the power going into the furnace and verified the correct voltage. He found that the power leaving the furnace was not correct. Due to a loose neutral wire. After tightening that, the heater worked. My point is, he could have estimated that the entire furnace electrical board needed replacement, and I would be none the wiser.

After he left, my heater stopped working. I messaged him later that night, and he further explained all the possible problems, at 9 pm. He walked me through all the things to check. The next morning I took his advice and checked the things he told me to check, fixed the problem and learned a few new things.

I am grateful for these guys. My heater is permanently working and I know at least two potential failure points for the future and how to fix them. I'll be using these guys again.

Got watts was incredible on our kitchen remodel job.  They were on time and professional and worked closely with me.  I only had them do rough wiring, but they had to also figure out the old wiring and rewire it to be the new wiring and that required smart thinking.  They also came in under the estimate (the job was time and material), which was nice too.  I would highly recommend them!!!

Wanted an exhaust fan installed in the garage. Hancock and Albert talked me through the process. Spent the time carefully measuring and cutting the right space. Sealed the holes after and cleaned up.

Steve, who I believe is the owner, is really responsive and gets back to really quickly. I've used them several times and the electricians are very knowledgable and friendly. They do a great job and charge reasonable prices which is unusual for an electrician. When they quote a job they stick by the price even if it takes longer for them to complete it. I recommend them highly.

If you're looking for a reliable company to fix your AC unit, this company will be the last company you should consider, period.
(1) The initial diagnosis fee is Not cheap, more then the other company.
(2) The technician didn't give you the estimate until you got the bill. $5 fuse, he'll charge you $179.
(3) After 4 days, system broke down, technician didn't know what to do, proposed more Expensive solutions...the system never got fixed...I have to hire the other five stars company & fixed it.

I had used JMC once before in an emergency situation and they were awesome. Used them for several different issues this time that had piled up over time and once again, could not be happier.  Alfredo was timely, profession, friendly, thorough, used all safety precautions, explained everything that was to be done in advance and again after completion and asked my preferences where warranted.  JMC will be my go to electrician from now on whether its a big job or small. Finding a contractor that you can count on in all situations can be difficult but thanks to Alfredo and JMC, that is no longer the case for us when it comes to electrical.

Unbelievable service and all communication was clear and professional! I can't emphasize enough how accommodating everyone I've encountered with has been. From Ethan on scheduling the initial consultation, Sal on arriving promptly and providing thorough details of what the next steps would be and Alex and Chris on the flawless execution of replacing light fixtures! They were so polite and even made a trip back to give me back LED bulbs from the old fixture that were brand new.
