Fred installed a handrail onto the existing one which was too wide for me to hold on especially after my recent injury.

He is very friendly and compassionate. Having learned about my injury he tried to come as soon as possible.

He is punctual and listened to my demands carefully and did a wonderful job. He even repaired my bathroom door free of charge!

I would recommend his service to anyone.

Our electricity was out in our upstairs master bedroom. We thought it might be due to rats that had gotten into a wall near the circuit panel.
When they were gone, we called a couple of other companies who said they could put us on their list for a month later. They didn't want to come out & diagnose, but bring both the electrician and an apprentice. Total cost $200. an hour.
After looking at Yelp, we called David Bertsch. He answered the phone(in the evening) and asked if it could wait til the next day! He would have come right out if we needed him then.
The next day, he called to say that he was ahead of schedule and would it be ok if he can early. He arrived on time, a very pleasant man. He almost immediately found the problem (not due to chewed wiring), fixed it, found the GFI switch we needed reset in the garage and even replaced the burned out lightbulbs in the high up stairwell for us.
He was here an hour, charged us $80. and we paid him $100.
We consider him a miracle worker and he will be our go to electrician from now on!

We contacted Yong because our kitchen circuit breaker was getting tripped. We told him the details and sent pictures via Yelp. He saw that the circuit breaking was expected because we were just drawing too much power with our appliances. Other electricians wanted to charge us $100 or more to come out to the house just for a diagnostic. We'll be calling LHP for our electrical needs in the future.

All the lights went out in my kitchen and I couldn't figure out what to do. I called up these guys and they responded super quick and came by and helped me out right away. I never leave reviews but Ronnie was super professional and helpful that I had to say something. U don't get quality honest help like this now a days. Definitely give these guys a shot.

I asked Sam to fix two small things (faucet and a tile repair).  
He showed up within an hour and did a great job on both projects.  Highly recommend.

I do not understand how this guy got such good reviews. Are they really real ? He stayed five hours in my home trying to fix one outlet. In the end he called two other electricians for help. They came and fixed it for ten minutes.

We had a handful of small annoying electrical issues that needed to be addressed. A few hours of various one-time fixes were required. Lucas and Scott were great and scheduled Martin to do the job. They were all accommodating and helpful. Martin even forgave me for a classic electric faux pas of mine, check the plug first! Despite my air headedness he smiled throughout the job. They even scheduled a detour to get a kitchen light fixture installed for us before Thanksgiving. It's hard to find electricians to pay attention to small time jobs, but they were willing and helpful. I'll definitely call them for my upcoming bigger electrical projects.

T'was a cold December eve. I opted to run my space heater on high, as the usual low setting was just not cutting it on this particularly chilly night. I was chillin' out max and relaxin' all cool in my bedroom (as per usual) when suddenly I heard a soft, crackling noise behind me. I turned to see a small puff of smoke emanating from the light switch just above the outlet where my space heater was plugged. I instinctively unplugged my heater as my life flashed before my eyes. Okay, maybe not that last part, but still... smoke is no joke!

The next morning, I called Randy from Mopia Electric. I informed him of my issue and inquired about a same-day appointment. Unfortunately for me, he was already booked for the day. However, he had a 30-minute gap before his next appointment, and since he was located just a couple miles from my condo, he asked to stop by to assess the situation and make sure it was safe--all at no cost to me. I was impressed by the fact that he prioritized my safety over my business, and for that reason, I decided to go with his company for the repair.

It turns out that the insulation of the wiring of the light switch had melted. Randy deduced that the combination of that 1500-watt space heater and my girlfriend's hairdryer was too much for the same 15 amp circuit, and it likely melted the insulation over time (but for some reason didn't trip the breaker). He assured me that the situation was safe so long as I didn't use any of the outlets on that circuit, but I would eventually need to have that wiring fixed. Since he estimated that the repair wouldn't take up a whole hour, I tacked on a couple minor electrical jobs that I had been putting off (replacing 2 dimmer switches, repairing another non-functioning switch). He gave me very reasonably price quote for the work, and we scheduled an appointment for the next week.

Randy and his assistant (I forget his name) promptly arrived at the agreed time. Upon entering, Randy noticed all the shoes around my doorway, and immediately instructed his assistant to remove his shoes, which I appreciated. All in all, the job (4 tasks in total) took around 50 minutes, and all the switches and outlets that they serviced now work as expected. Randy was very professional throughout the ordeal, and overall, he just seems like a friendly and cool guy. I would definitely recommend him for any electrical work.

Note: It says on Yelp that they accept credit cards, but Randy asked that I pay in cash. Luckily, I happened to have some on me that day.

Antonio is a very reliable handyman and puts his 200% on the job and has no short cuts. He helped with TV installation on the wall.

Juan happened to be available on short notice (next day) and was able to diagnose and fix the problem with one of our circuit breakers. Turns out it wasn't a major problem, and the other circuits were fine.

He made the adjustments, fixed it, replaced the faulty outlet that causes the problem, checked all the other outlets/switches, and tightened all the connections in our box before finishing up.

I also appreciated that he didn't try to up-sell me on new equipment and services that I didn't need or ask for. Sure it doesn't hurt to upgrade, but he knew that's not what I asked for or needed. He gave me some tips and let me know to call him for any future needs. Solid work all-around.

Dan  from BAM is awesome to work with. He was prompt in the reply to my quote request, quick to schedule and came on time. He not only finished his work on time but also answered all the queries and gave suggestions for maintenance. I recommend BAM for all your maintenance needs.

Very good experience. Arrived half hour late. Knowledgeable and a good problem solver. Installed outlet for car charger and replaced outlet in bedroom. Reasonably priced.  Got the job done quickly and efficiently. Willing to come out on a Sunday with no extra fee!

Steve is a great electrician and has very fair pricing.  We had a number of projects where I needed help including adding a 240V outlet in the garage for an electric car.  He came out on time and got everything done efficiently and we were very happy.  I would recommend Steve to anybody looking for an electrician.

Had a good experience with Bellows when we had a sewer project in the Santa Cruz area. Called them for another project in the South Bay where we had sewer water overflowing in the front yard. Was able to get an appointment for inspection/evaluation in a matter of a couple of days. However, even before showing up for the in-person appointment, the Tech called ahead to clarify what we were experiencing and told me that it might be an issue covered by the city and I should consult them first before having a paid service call by Bellows -- as it was likely a lateral drain/sewer line blockage covered by the city. Sure enough, the city Sanitary District Dept came out to take a look and said it was in fact their job to clear the blockage close to the main. Thanks Bellows for the excellent customer service!

Jason came by and helped us out in a pinch, by bribing our main panel up to code so we could reconnect power.  super honest and professional.  Gave a fair estimate.

I got a  referred  from Vhet at Hot tub Spas to JMC for the installation of the spa.
Jon came out in advance to check the location of the electrical and give few options. We agreed on the most logical , less disruptive way to install, he drop off the electrical conduits so we can get the place ready for the spa and electrical, he coordinates with us in  getting the pad ready, coordinates his installation crews with the spa delivery on the same day.

Hector and Alex was great.  They did a thorough , clean and neat job, patiently explain what, where ,and how he was going to install the electrical.

I would highly recommend JMC Electrical service.

Cory and George were our team from Five or Free. They showed up on time. They also had great communication. Not all electricians know how to put in wifi switches but they did and they did it efficiently. Plus they put in 3 ceiling fans and 4 outdoor lights. Everything looks great and works well. They also cleaned up after they were done. I would highly recommend Five or Free and this team. I would definitely use them again.
