From start to finish, Safety First Electrical Inc was absolutely outstanding! My request for last minute electrical needs on a Friday afternoon was met with nothing but outstanding customer service and electrical expertise! Everything the company said they would do to help me, they did exactly that. Call backs in a very timeline manner, overview of what they could do to assist me and upfront details of service and prices were all so much appreciated. I was provided with a window of time the service would take place and they provided me both phone calls and ongoing text messages to ensure i was updated about the service and when the electrician was en route.

I put out a request on Yelp in the morning and Sam came by in less than an hour to complete the task. A few hours after he had left, I had another job for him and he came back within the hour (twice in a day) to finish this second task. We're in a new home up in the Stonebrae development.
I came home early from work, drove in the garage only to see an electrical extension cord running from the inside the house into the garage with the fridge plugged in. Even the the overhead light and garage door worked all other outlets were dead. Having had success with Yelp before so I made a call. That's how I found Mopia. After many Rings Randy answered. I explained the problem. Else explained he was in Tahoe gone until next week. Before he hung up he asked what the problem was. Before long, with his family waiting, he listened to what happened, then lead me through the steps to find the problem and then to fix it. This is beyond the call of duty and only would come from a true professional. Thank you Randy.

I started project in yelp, and Mr. Chen reached out to very soon. And we made appointment on next day morning with a small window(9 to 9:30). He showed up on time at 9. Juan and his team are beyond good. I had a lot of electrical panel and circuit work to do. Had several companies come out who wanted to charge huge rates and create a complicated process.
Juan is very knowledgeable, thorough, honest and took care of the job for a fair price without over engineering things as can be possible to do with electrical work. He's done work for my family now as well. I'm very picky about who works on my home (or who I refer!) and I trust Juan implicitly

Awesome service. Dan came out and resolved the problem very quickly with the electric ignition on my furnace. The pricing was reasonable and he didn't charge a truck fee (which, I don't understand). All the other HVAC companies in the area were booked out for at least one week and I was freezing. I love having a reliable, honest person who can work on these issues. Thank you, Dan!

Got Watts did an awesome job on our solar install! This is a very professional company and the experience was great! Design and coordination by Sam and Lindsay was great. James and Alex were very helpful and knowledgeable for the electrical upgrade. Justin and Jeremy did a great job on the solar panel install and Troy was friendly and experienced for the stucco fixes and inspections. Overall, very impressed with the ease of the whole process. Highly recommend.

Two bedrooms of can lighting, a ceiling fan, replace a non-working light with a can light over the laundry area, HDMI port and some outdoor lighting. So a few months after I'd left the messages and wrote the 1-star review, Steve called me. He apologized and explained that he'd been dealing with some family issues. He had also let go one of the workers who had done my electrical. After making an appointment to come out the following week, I sent him my list of things that needed to be fixed, detailed in my original review.
As promised, Chris came out on Monday. He was on time--even early--friendly and courteous. Chris made some recommendations on how to fix some of the problems, did the work, and also saved the day with some quick thinking. He also changed out a motion detector switch to a regular one even though it was out of scope.
Steve himself came out and we smoothed things over. I was happy to have the work completed quickly and even talked to him about coming back to install a new light over my dining table.
Although I would have preferred the work had been done properly originally, Steve takes pride in his work and I know he felt bad that there had been issues.
I understand when family matters come up, and I told him as much. However, I do think he should have left an outgoing voice message explaining that he was taking time off and would not be returning calls for an extended amount of time.
I was actually about to hire another electrician to fix all the problems, so I would been pretty upset if I had done so only to have Steve contact me afterward.

My initial experience with Steve and John, who were recommended by my contractor, was good. However, I've now left two messages this year for Steve asking him to come back and fix small issues that came up within weeks of my moving back into my remodeled home: canned light went out, dimmer makes a buzzing noise, smoke alarm fell off my master bedroom ceiling. And the big one: fans in both baths come on when heat/air does and not necessarily when they should. I.e., when I'm showering and the bathroom steams up.
I'm sure all of these problems are easy to fix, so I'm frustrated that I've left two very polite messages (one on Steve's cell phone; one at the shop) and still haven't received a call back in over two weeks. I spent more than $10k with Southwest and thought Steve and John were very professional and helpful during the remodel. I think it's very unprofessional now for Steve to not follow up on these issues that I've documented through date-stamped photos.
I think it's interesting that the majority of these 5-star reviews for Southwest are from people who don't write many reviews. This can be a sign of business owners asking for favorable reviews in return for providing a discount. If you're researching electricians or any other businesses on Yelp, I recommend doing your homework. Just because the business has 5-star reviews does not mean they truly are a 5-star business.

We had a major problem with our water softener tank, and Marcos Escobar, a Bellows Plumbing, Heating, Cooling & Electrical representative, came to our home in Santa Cruz County to help fix it. Not only was he punctual, he was polite and very knowledgeable with our unit and our problem. He also called with a follow-up the following day with further information as promised. I highly recommend this professional company who is also organized with retuning telephone calls or emails.

I bought a new washer. After used it for only a few days, I cannot turn it on. My husband checked breaker panel and turn it on and off couple of times but the outlet still does not have electric. I think it is beyond our safety zone to fix it by ourselves, so I searched my nextdoor and found couple of recommendations for Jason. I am so glad we called him. He found the neutral line for washer outlet was lose, seems previous electrician did not tight it up and it can be pull off at the site. That neutral line has burned and it could cause fire if not been fixed! Jason told me that normally he will do diagnostic before he drove to client home to save their money if it may just need to reset breaker panel. I will definitely call him again if I need an electrician.

Alex showed up right on time this morning and took a look at the two issues I had... One evidently was a non-issue, but he pointed out to me that maybe it was the rating on the light bulbs I'd been using in a hanging fixture that caused them to go out immediately. Whatever it was... that light is now working perfectly.
Then he got to work on installing my new Nest thermostat, something I really didn't want to tackle on my own. It took him no time at all... he got it configured to the point where I had to get in with the app to finish set up, but even at that point, heating and cooling were working from the new device. I've done my part and it's all working perfectly now.
GOOD price, too. I'd gotten one site unseen estimate that was way too high, so I'm glad I waited! Recommended and I will call Five or Free the next time I have electrical work to be done.
