Let me start by saying the positive reviews are true!!  I had a small drywall project (ceiling) that Fred repaired beautifully!  His professionalism was impressive.  Past experiences with handymen/contractors left me dreading finding someone to do the job.  At first, it seemed too good to be true, but Fred is a keeper who I look forward to hiring for many future projects in my home!! Fred responded very quickly, provided me photos of similar projects he had completed, then requested pics of my project. Once received, I quickly received a quote.  He sent a follow-up text the night before to confirm the appointment, then showed up on time. So refreshing!  He explained everything, and even completed a few small tasks in my home unrelated to my project that I had been meaning to address myself.  Who does that!?!  I will be a customer as long as Fred is open for business.  I highly recommend!!

David is wonderful to work with. He is meticulous and careful. He is a terrific communicator and has a very reasonable rate. We are thrilled with the work he's done in our home. First, he came same day to fix a light switch in our daughter's room that had started smoking (!). A few month later, we had him return to install recessed lighting as well as a new dining room fixture.  He worked hard to make sure we were happy with the results (we are!).

Excellent electrician, he responded really fast & figured out my issue wasn't a breaker but the transformer. Super nice & was very Covid aware with mask, shoe covers & distancing. I highly recommend Mr.Zhang & would give 10 stars if I could

All the lights went out in my kitchen and I couldn't figure out what to do. I called up these guys and they responded super quick and came by and helped me out right away. I never leave reviews but Ronnie was super professional and helpful that I had to say something. U don't get quality honest help like this now a days. Definitely give these guys a shot.

Larry is fantastic! The circuit breaker tripped for our bedroom and wouldn't reset. I called 3 electricians, and Larry responded promptly and was able to fit me into his schedule the same day. He is diligent, patient, and thorough in his work, which is exactly the attitude needed when troubleshooting electrical gremlins. I felt that I was in good hands with somebody who cared about the quality of his work and fixing it right. Thanks Larry!

I was having an issue with my breaker and called Fitch. Lucas answered immediately and we were able to resolve the issue over the phone. I really appreciated the responsiveness and problem solving attitude.

All good with Randy. My tankless installer forgot to mention that they didn't do electrical work, so when the day arrived for it to be installed (Saturday) I needed help fast. My tankless unit is external and it needs to be hardwired, so Randy called the local inspector to double check on what the local code is. Then he tied into an existing outlet, ran a line through the studs in the garage,drilled through the stucco, installed the switch, GFCI outlet,  weather proof enclosure, hardwired the tankless system, sealed it up, and tested it all, in about 3 hours. Fantastic. I have finally found my go to guy for electrical.

I highly recommend Antonio for his services. My bathroom exhaust fan was not working and I reached out on Yelp for quotes. He responded right away with a very reasonable rate on labor. He even sent me pictures of the replacement part with prices at Home Depot and said he would charge exactly what it would cost.  He didn't try to overcharge me like other places which I extremely appreciate.  We ended up not needing the part because it was just an electrical issue.  So he only charged me for labor, in which he ended up discounting.  He is honest, reliable, and efficient. He also goes out of his way to find me parts on another repair that I needed and said he would move his other schedules around to fit me in as soon as possible.  Again I highly recommend him to anyone who needs a great handyman.   Thank you, Antonio!!

Had recessed lighting and electric a couple quad electrical outlets done. I love the job, so clean and professional. My living room doesn't get much natural light and now it looks great. Also now I am able to hide all the cables behind my TV, makes it look so clean. Juan the owner and his worker Shawn showed up on time, got the job done fast but most important a quality job, at a very decent price. The only problem now, for me, is I keep thinking of how many more jobs I can have them do. Highly recommended

Dan at Bay Area Maintenance was awesome. We had a furnace/Nest thermostat issue that we needed diagnosed. They came out shortly after calling them. Upfront we discussed updating the wiring for the Nest as part of the call. They did this for less than he quoted (even though I think the job was a little more difficult than he thought at first). The furnace had an issue he couldn't fix, but he helped diagnose the furnace problem and even followed up with tracking down a replacement part.

Overall, great experience.

Jeremy came to our home to give us an estimate on a whole house attic fan, as well as a few other jobs that we have been meaning to take care of for years. The estimate was clearly written, and he even offered to separate out the house fan work from the rest of the repairs in a separate estimate, but we told him it wasn't necessary. We were impressed by how thorough he was (and he's a really nice guy!)   I wasn't home for the installation, but  my husband raved about the professionalism of the installers.  The house fan installation went smoothly, and they quickly installed/replaced a backyard light fixture, as well as a couple of outdoor GFCI outlets.  Most impressively Abe and his co-worker (sorry his name wasn't on the receipt) spent a lot of time trouble shooting planter box lights that haven't been working in over a decade - and got them up and running!

While vacuuming the light by door flickered and the outlet went out. Then two light switches didn't work anymore and we tried to reset the circuit breaker and still didn't work. I sent out a Yelp a quote and many responded. Hancok had a very direct/ clear answer of cost. He did a thorough explanation of what may or may not be. I explained what happened and he said sounds like a simple fix. He said he can leave right away to me. He came from an hour away! Power shoot and knew the problem after 15 minutes and fixed the problem.  Nice guy. Definitely recommend

We recently had a bunch of odd jobs that we needed done including installing a ceiling fan, replacing a bathroom  fan and lighting fixture, and installing some external  outlets. Steve provided an estimate and his 2 guys arrived promptly ready to work- they were here for about 1/2 a day and got everything done as promised,  We will use these guys again for more jobs bc they were very professional, clean, and yoy could tell they knew what they were doing. Thx Soouthwest!!!

Had a good experience with Bellows when we had a sewer project in the Santa Cruz area. Called them for another project in the South Bay where we had sewer water overflowing in the front yard. Was able to get an appointment for inspection/evaluation in a matter of a couple of days. However, even before showing up for the in-person appointment, the Tech called ahead to clarify what we were experiencing and told me that it might be an issue covered by the city and I should consult them first before having a paid service call by Bellows -- as it was likely a lateral drain/sewer line blockage covered by the city. Sure enough, the city Sanitary District Dept came out to take a look and said it was in fact their job to clear the blockage close to the main. Thanks Bellows for the excellent customer service!

We're very happy working with Jason and his team at Oak Electric.  The house we bought early this year dates from the early 90s and had lots of needs.  Jason has made our lives better by solving  problems.  We now have great lighting in the home office, daughter's bedroom and gym.  He is a can-do guy who comes up with ideas.  We had very different experiences with two local electricians who, for some reason, get good reviews.  The first charged a ton just to show up, talked a mile a minute, and listened to us not at all.  The other was very grumpy and everything was can't do that.  In contrast, a member of Jason's team came over to fix a minor problem with one of the installations and was gracious enough to also take care of a couple of extra things that they had not even worked on.

I highly recommend giving this company a call if you have any electrical needs.  They come out very quickly, are responsibly priced and have fantastic customer service. Jon, the owner, is incredibly knowable and will work to find you a solution to your electrical problems.   We are happy spa owners because of his help!

I could not be more pleased with the service I received from the folks at Five or Free. PG&E had sent me a letter requiring me to have a ground wire moved. I contacted Five or Free on Monday morning and spoke with John who kindly and promptly set me up with an appointment for Tuesday. John was cool (we spoke for a minute) and after learning I am a veteran he encouraged me to apply for the company's veteran discount (really helpful).

On Tuesday Tim A came by in the morning to assess the need. He was on time, quick, and super friendly. The team set me up with a same day appointment to get the job done. Later that afternoon Tim returned and knocked out the job in less than 30 minutes including patching up a wall. The work was done well and done quickly. These guys are GREAT. You've earned a customer. AND thank you for the great price. Again, thanks Tim and team for being so excellent. Two thumbs up.
