Fred was prompt, communicative and very reasonable on pricing. I had a bathroom door that would not close and he fixed it perfectly. He even realigned my front door as well! I will be contacting Fred for future projects!

David did an excellent job putting in a new circuit to charge my EV.  He was on time and on budget.  Very pleasant to work with and cleaned up when he was done.

Based on my previous update the requisite person contacted me and then set up an appointment so that he could make it right.

All the lights went out in my kitchen and I couldn't figure out what to do. I called up these guys and they responded super quick and came by and helped me out right away. I never leave reviews but Ronnie was super professional and helpful that I had to say something. U don't get quality honest help like this now a days. Definitely give these guys a shot.

I hired Sam to replace a 2 plug receptacle at my house that had gone bad. I contacted him on a Saturday morning & he was very responsive over Yelp & txt message. He gives transparent and fair pricing. We scheduled the appointment for the same day and he showed up prepared and replaced the receptacle with no drama. Workmanship was great. Once completed, I sent him payment over Zelle and everything was taken care of. No surprises. Fair pricing. Great work. I'm very pleased and highly recommend Sam for similar jobs.

Needed a good home electrician quickly for emergency troubleshooting and repair.  Called Mopia Electric and talked to Randy(owner).  He took the time to ask many questions about the problem that I was having with my lights and sockets.  Gave me some great tips on how to solve the problem.  We called him out to do the work for us and he came by within an hour.  He sure knew his stuff.  Troubleshot the problem immediately and fixed the problem within the hour.  Now everything works perfectly again.  I'm really glad I called Mopia and will call again for some electric upgrades in the future.

I had an issue where several outlets in the living room lost power.  Chen came, diagnosed the issue, had the parts in his van, repaired, and was done within the hour.   He is very friendly too.

I am very happy with Antonio's work on our opened drywall ceiling. The final outcome is what I wanted. It is hard to imagine there was any opening there at all. He  closed it, matched the texture, went same evening to  a store and bought some paint.  He was going back and forth to his car for tools and never forgot to wear shoe protectors. He fixed the light that was not working too. It was ultra easy to hire him. I think I got lucky on one of those crazy rainy days. He responded to my message very quickly and was at my place fixing the ceiling in like 1.5 hours. Wow. I was trying to hire the drywall guy here at yelp for a week going back and forth through his manager and I hired Antonio in a blink of an eye. The bonus: he charges very reasonably. I liked his attitude and demeanor as well. I cannot thank Antonio enough and plan to hire him for more projects around my house.

tried to hire him 2 times. First time, he showed up, took a look and said he will come back with a quote. He never followed up.
Second time, he gave me an appointment for 4pm next day. I shortened my trip so that I could be home for the appointment. Then when I called him at 4:15pm, he said something came up and he wont show up. He said he texted me in the morning, but I never received anything and I think he just lied. Then he said he will call be back but he never did.

Ace and Brian just completed installing 3 electrical boxes to install fans in our ceiling.  It seemed to be much more complicated than originally thought--they had everything they needed,and took the time to do it right.   I felt like they were family, respectful, punctual, and very tidy.   They assisted me in giving me options on the amount of work in my budget.  Every part of this job was to my satisfaction.  I highly recommed this company and these electricians to anyone wanting high quality work done.  Thank you again, Ace and Brian, and Got Watts!

I had a 220 volt circuit added and a couple of breakers changed. I thought they did a good job. I could tell they cared about their work . The company is responive in communication, courteous and didnt mind that I was hovering around while they did their work.. I would use them again.

We recently had a bunch of odd jobs that we needed done including installing a ceiling fan, replacing a bathroom  fan and lighting fixture, and installing some external  outlets. Steve provided an estimate and his 2 guys arrived promptly ready to work- they were here for about 1/2 a day and got everything done as promised,  We will use these guys again for more jobs bc they were very professional, clean, and yoy could tell they knew what they were doing. We started out spec-ing a 240W electrical outlet in the garage for a new car.  Then the solar guys told us we'd need our main electrical panel moved around a corner and upgraded before they could install.  So we plopped a big job on top of a small one.

Jason took care of everything (permit, installation, inspections) in a very friendly and personable manner.  The timing was a bit loose-y-goose-y but we were the ones who'd trebled the size of the job, so I really can't complain.  It was all done with a minimum of downtime for us.

The city inspector complimented us on how well the job had been done and asked how we'd found Jason since good electricians are scarce these days.  (Our next-door neighbors had recommended Oak Electric, then I'd verified here at Yelp).  

We were charged exactly what he estimated and the whole system has been working beautifully for a month now.

BE ALERT: jmc is very expensive. You would do youself a big favor by going with someone else or at least shopping around to appreciate what I warned you here. On top of that, they demand invoice to be paid in advance BEFORE any work is done. If this doesn't make you think twice, then you deserve being gouged/played.

Very happy with Five or Free Electrical Solutions. They were communicative, prompt, efficient. This is the way to run a business.

Communicative: I got a quick response to my service inquiry through Yelp. At every step from initial contact to all my emails, to booking, etc. replies were immediate. I was kept informed if a new issue popped up. Multiple confirmations, both written and voice were sent. While I liked talking to a real person, I also appreciated the written confirmation detailing the job expectations.

Prompt: Tim, the electrician, was great. The main office messaged me before he arrived but Tim also texted and called me with his ETA. My time is just as valuable as my wallet. I appreciated that he showed up when he said he would.

Efficient: Tim quickly evaluated the problem and gave me an upfront recommendation. His diagnosis was pretty accurate but he was honest when other problems emerged. He patiently explained the issues and I didn't feel ripped off. Price seemed comparable to others. Not cheap but I don't begrudge them making a living.

Above and beyond: Tim didn't have a part and promised to return first thing in the morning to complete repairs and he did. I've worked with tradesmen in the past with no sense of urgency or respect for the customer. Working with Tim is great and Five or Free Electrical Solutions will stay on my reliable contact list for future electrical needs.
