I highly recommend Fred's Handyman Service.  Jay is very knowledgeable and capable.  He was able to resolve an issue with my dishwasher/disposal hose/air gap mess that a tech from another company could not fix.  He made sure everything was working perfectly before he left and even contacted me a few days later to see if all was working well.  I will definitely call Fred's when I need service for my home In the future!

David returned my call pretty much immediately, showed up earlier than he said he would, and took care of my generator disconnect from the main panel.  He also patiently listened to a couple of other electrical challenges I have and suggested reasonable options.  As good as it gets, in terms of experience, highly recommend!

I called Yong out to install 2 electrical outlets on my balcony.  The job also included replacing another outlet and a doorbell that wasn't working.  Yong was punctual, professional, Civid-19 aware (he always wore a mask), and he did good work.  I will definitely call him back to do some electrical work in the future.

From start to finish, Safety First Electrical Inc was absolutely outstanding!  My request for last minute electrical needs on a Friday afternoon was met with nothing but outstanding customer service and electrical expertise!  Everything the company said they would do to help me, they did exactly that.  Call backs in a very timeline manner, overview of what they could do to assist me and upfront details of service and prices were all so much appreciated.  I was provided with a window of time the service would take place and they provided me both phone calls and ongoing text messages to ensure i was updated about the service and when the electrician was en route.
Everyone who works with Safety First Electrical is absolutely excellent at their jobs and i highly recommend them to anyone who needs electrical services!

I called Larry late on a Saturday morning, described how I had been doing some DIY work to replace a bathroom fan in my laundry room ceiling, and that I had accidentally drilled through a joist and into a thick wire.  I sent him a message with a few photos, and he was concerned enough to be at my house in just a couple hours.  He assessed the situation, fixed the wire in about an hour, and taught me a few things about safety and the wiring of my house along the way.  He was thorough, very fair, and super trustworthy.  I will be calling on Larry again when I need an electrician in the future.

I needed someone to help me uninstall, move and reinstall a whole house generator from my old house to my new one. The Fitch team was responsive, great communicators, and clearly very knowledgeable about their work as they had to fix a few things on both ends! I hope we don't need further servicing, but they will be my first call if we do.

T'was a cold December eve. I opted to run my space heater on high, as the usual low setting was just not cutting it on this particularly chilly night. I was chillin' out max and relaxin' all cool in my bedroom (as per usual) when suddenly I heard a soft, crackling noise behind me. I turned to see a small puff of smoke emanating from the light switch just above the outlet where my space heater was plugged. I instinctively unplugged my heater as my life flashed before my eyes. Okay, maybe not that last part, but still... smoke is no joke!

The next morning, I called Randy from Mopia Electric. I informed him of my issue and inquired about a same-day appointment. Unfortunately for me, he was already booked for the day. However, he had a 30-minute gap before his next appointment, and since he was located just a couple miles from my condo, he asked to stop by to assess the situation and make sure it was safe--all at no cost to me. I was impressed by the fact that he prioritized my safety over my business, and for that reason, I decided to go with his company for the repair.

It turns out that the insulation of the wiring of the light switch had melted. Randy deduced that the combination of that 1500-watt space heater and my girlfriend's hairdryer was too much for the same 15 amp circuit, and it likely melted the insulation over time (but for some reason didn't trip the breaker). He assured me that the situation was safe so long as I didn't use any of the outlets on that circuit, but I would eventually need to have that wiring fixed. Since he estimated that the repair wouldn't take up a whole hour, I tacked on a couple minor electrical jobs that I had been putting off (replacing 2 dimmer switches, repairing another non-functioning switch). He gave me very reasonably price quote for the work, and we scheduled an appointment for the next week.

Randy and his assistant (I forget his name) promptly arrived at the agreed time. Upon entering, Randy noticed all the shoes around my doorway, and immediately instructed his assistant to remove his shoes, which I appreciated. All in all, the job (4 tasks in total) took around 50 minutes, and all the switches and outlets that they serviced now work as expected. Randy was very professional throughout the ordeal, and overall, he just seems like a friendly and cool guy. I would definitely recommend him for any electrical work.

Note: It says on Yelp that they accept credit cards, but Randy asked that I pay in cash. Luckily, I happened to have some on me that day.

I sent a quote request and Juan responded very quickly. Was able to come out and give us a quote in person within a couple days. A few days later he was able to start and did an amazing job. He added an external outlet to our front yard for us to use install sprinklers and walkways lights as well as 2 new lights flanking the garage. He even went to extra step and sealed around the new lights. Super happy with his work and would use him for any future needs!

Dan came in to install electrical outlet to charge our car. He is an outstanding electrician who is highly competent, courteous, hardworking, diligent and HONEST!! We are very happy with the work he did, he is very responsive and such a pleasure to work with.

TL;DR: All companies are great on the front-side of sales: lots of shiny brochures, impressive graphics, and what-not ... far fewer will show up in an hour /after/ the sale when there's a problem. Got Watts will.

Not long ago, we had a fairly minor issue with some of our panels in the high-wind/rain and the crew was over in less than an hour in wet-suits with ladders. Problem solved before lunchtime. A few weeks later, a had a Hmm... I wonder? style question and emailed Jeremy, the owner, with a Hey, no hurry, just wondering in the future... and received a comprehensive response, like, the next day (and another follow-up). The after-the-sale service is spectacular.

We used Hancock and James last year to install recessed lighting in our living room. They did a decent job installing the lights at a fair price. We had a much bigger project this month to replace all our old light fixtures with recessed lights. Hancock confirmed on the phone that they would be using same recessed lights as used in the previous project, however, what they installed were cheap $4 recessed lights you can order from Alibaba.com! I have 3 kids under 5 so was distracted and didn't check on the quality of the lights installed. Plus i was jet lagged coming back from europe the night before, however, it was my fault for not checking the fixtures.
My wife upon returning back to home after the completion of the job noticed that the light quality and look was very different. I asked Hancock to fix the issue by replacing the lights with the ones we can provide and since i take responsibility i can provide the new lights at zero cost to him. But instead of accepting that he used cheap lights and would replace them, he first said that those older lights are no longer being sold!! That was a lie. As i found the same or similar ones at home depot, lowes and ace hardware stores or amazon. Second he asked $60 to replace each light!! That's in addition to the light i will buy and supply him.
Definitely not going to use these guys and will be filing a complaint with the state of california consumer bureau on ethics and the way the business was conducted.

Steve is a great electrician and has very fair pricing.  We had a number of projects where I needed help including adding a 240V outlet in the garage for an electric car.  He came out on time and got everything done efficiently and we were very happy.  I would recommend Steve to anybody looking for an electrician.

I contacted Bellows for a quote on air conditioning in my new house.  They are very responsive and professional.  Gave me different options without being pushy.  I chose Bellows to do the work and they responded quickly.  They took precautions to protect floors and carpets while accessing the attic.  Workers were polite and hard working.  Best of all, they followed COVID 19 precautions while doing their work.  Everything was finished on budget and under time!  I selected Bellows for our annual preventive maintenance on air conditioning, heater, and tankless water heater.  I'm sure they will deliver!  Strongest recommendation!

Jason came by and helped us out in a pinch, by bribing our main panel up to code so we could reconnect power.  super honest and professional.  Gave a fair estimate.
