I have an espresso machine that uses a lot of power, so I had Gleason Electrick put in a dedicated outlet just for the espresso machine.  He sent his assistant who did a great job and only took about an hour.  He ran the power from outlets at one end of the kitchen that aren't used very much, drilled a space in the wall and put the switchplate at the other end of the counter.  So now I can happily use my espresso machine without worrying that when I turn on lights or whatever it will short out.

Cost:  $250.  If you know contractors, you know that's a pretty fair price.  And since Rick is an electrical engineer, I always feel that he really knows what he's doing.

I really want to take the time to recommend Ismael and his work. He has now helped us repair several electrical issues/projects. He is always prompt, courteous, and professional. I like how he takes the time to problem solve and properly explain the issue and how he will go about repairing it. The other day he was on his way to work on a project for us and it just so happens a friend of ours was having an electrical issue that required immediate attention. I recommended him and he was kind enough to re-schedule with us last minute to instead address her urgent electrical issue. Best of all, his prices are far more reasonable than others.

Being involved in working with Helix Electric, I would like to share my personal attitude toward this company. As opposed to the other estimate I tried to get from a larger electrician company where the electrician spent the whole time criticizing the work of prior electricians, then took a week and a half to generate an estimate that was 4 lines long in an email and missed the most important things I'd asked for.

Really great experience with Ruben's team.  I needed an ev level 2 nema plug installed.  His team came early and gave me a good recommendation.  They were fast, reasonable priced and reliable.  I was very happy with the service they provided.  They took care of everything I needed to get my charger working for my tesla.  I would happily recommend them to anyone anytime.

I contacted SD Electricity to convert my garage outlets from 110v to 220v so I can charge my electric car. Cosmin was super helpful and got this project completed over the same weekend I got in touch with him. Really great service. Ended up using them for replacing my A/C unit as well as some other smaller projects around the house.

Rod installed a ceiling fan for us a while back (It's actually been over a year, but they were so good I just spent 10 minutes looking for their number in my call history so I could find the right electrician to review) These guys were quick, friendly, professional, and reasonably priced. I highly recommend them and would definitely call again.

Chris did a great job installing my Tesla Wall Charger for my Model 3. From the first interactions he was always friendly, straightforward and easy to work with. He promised to come take a look and give me quote and he was exactly on time.
His pricing is very fair and transparent. When time to perform the work, he was very efficient and diligent. I couldn't have asked for a better outcome.

It's Saturday, and it's Memorial Day weekend. A guest accidentally zaps my electricity while running a hair dryer. Circuit breakers look fine, but flipping them on and off doesn't solve the problem.  

Who do you call? Actually, anybody that'll answer. I called other highly rated Yelp-recommended companies, but they all bailed and weren't around for the weekend. I called up Kevin, it was already almost 5pm, and he answered and said he can come right over.

He diagnosed the problem methodically and within a half hour had everything back up and running again. He was courteous, pleasant, and very knowledgable (I think he's been doing this since 1976). Highly recommended when you need someone who knows his stuff in a pinch.

Hank is the best! He not only came on time and did everything I needed to be done, but he also fixed the few other things I noticed that were bothering me. He has a great attitude, is very professional, and his caulking skills are second to none. He really cares about his customers and he is a great handyman.

AJS Electric was wonderful.  He was thoughtful, careful, gentle, read instructions immediately and worked well with my landscape architect figuring out how to install a stainless box for my new garden lighting timer.  He came quickly, was prompt, cleaned up after himself and his pricing was very fair.  I highly recommend him.

My tenants reported their bedroom outlets did not have power and that the kitchen light was flickering on and off. M Tech Electric not only offered fast and effective service but was also very fair about pricing.  

His troubleshooting skills are excellent.  He identified the burnt/loose wire in the junction box, GFCI needing replacement, etc.  He obtained authorization before any repairs, which I appreciated.  I would give my strong recommendation for this company.

Katelin were very helpful with scheduling my island BBQ hookup, she was very quick to respond to all the questions I had. When it came to doing the work, Tim was on time and worked with me to ensure that all my needs were met with the install. His work is on point and looks great. I cant wait to cook my first steak on it. I'm definitely calling them for all my future electrical needs. Thanks!

Sam diagnosed and fixed a light fixture that had a bad bit of hardware.  He explained what he was doing, was upfront with the price, and was very friendly.  I will use his service again next time an issue pops up that he can help me with.

I contacted Rob's on a Friday.  The following Monday I met with Rob to discuss the job: installing 6 can lights in a pre-existing ceiling.  The very next day the job was done!  How good can it get!!!  Don and Aaron were the electricians and I cannot praise them highly enough.  They were personable and professional.  They had to move LOTS of furniture, which they did with great care.  Once done, they cleaned up everything.  Thanks to Rob's, what could have been a nightmare, was a wonderful experience and Rob, the owner, is a joy to work with... bless him.

These dudes are awesome. After calling almost a dozen different electricians, these guys offered the best over the phone quote. They arrived on time and expertly installed 5 ceiling fans and a chandelier (a last minute request). They made every attempt to minimize cutting through drywall with the ceiling fan installation.

It's been over a year now since installation and everything still works very well. I would highly recommend the guys for all your electrical needs!!!

I'm responding to the ceiling fan review. We did install one of the blades upside down but the colors were similar and neither we nor the customer saw it at first. We returned to flip the blade as soon as we heard and we apologized. The remotes all synced to each other when we set them up. We spent an hour trying to get them independent but we couldn't.  The owner replaced the remotes and when we installed them they all worked independently. We charged for the return because the new remotes proved it wasn't our fault. The ceiling fans were balanced when we left. She never asked us to come back to rebalance. I can understand the customer's frustration but we can't be responsible for manufacturing problems or poor quality fans.
