They were extremely professional during estimate and install. Jamie does amazing work, our house looks amazing with the new crown molding. Heather was very helpful by helping us pick out different types of crown molding that fit our home with her experience in interior design. I am so happy with the look of our new home

Brian just finished doing a great job on our 1000 square foot patio ceiling. Did exactly what he said he would do, quality work and on time. Very nice young man, very clean, and takes a lot of pride in his work, fair pricing. Do not hesitate using him if your looking for quality carpentry.

Not only did I get two gorgeous planters with trellis' from Justin, but he helped with a tortoise enclosure for my 150 lb. desert tortoise as well! He's an amazing carpenter and was awesome to accommodate my special request for help with Chewie's den as well. Highly recommend!

It is very hard in this day and age to find someone who is competent, honest, reasonably priced and professional.  Greg Kerr, the owner of Weekend Warrior Construction LLC is all of these things and more.  He recently did some work for us for far less than other estimates we were getting (which were flatly outrageous) and he did it on time, very professional and even helped me out with some additional work that I couldn't do on my own.  We will be having him back to install a new back splash in our new kitchen.  

You can look long and hard and will not find someone like Greg - he's old school professional with pride in his work, reasonable pricing and an absolute commitment to showing up on time and finishing the work as promised.

There are a lot of choices out there when hiring a handyman. Do yourself a favor and make the right one. Hire and trust in Russ! 5 stars for sure!

I was overwhelmed with lingering projects and decided to hire a handyman to complete them and free up my time. Finding Russ was a blessing. Communication with him is easy and he always responds timely. His attention to detail is remarkable. A job done by Russ is always done with exacting precision. He's friendly, personable, and proven himself trustworthy. He can have full access to my home without any reservations. No matter the job, small or large, simple or complex, you can be sure it will get done right if Russ does it. Russ is now my 'go to guy' for any repairs or home improvement projects.

I had Travis come to give an estimate for replacing drywall, then we agreed on a time for him to come fix it. We made these arrangements over e-mail, so there should have been no confusion about it. On the day he was supposed to show up I wanted until 20 minutes after his scheduled arrival time and then called him. He said I was not on the schedule. I said I had e-mails to back it up. He said he would check his e-mail and call me back.

While I was waiting, I forwarded the relevant e-mails to him. He did not call me back. Probably he was too cowardly to own up to his mistake face to face, or even over the phone. Instead, I got an e-mail (this is the beginning of June by the way) saying that he had double-booked the day and we will need to rebook towards the end of august [sic].

I responded that I had already made arrangements to be home on the scheduled day, and had already moved everything out of the room he was supposed to work on. He did not respond. I asked him if he had a response, and again he did not respond.

He was probably hoping this would all just go away. Instead, it is all going on yelp.

Edit: he later called to apologize, but would not do anything to meet the appointment the same day or anytime soon.

Today I had another grab-bar installed in my home (shower).  I want to share the experience so those needing adaptive equipment installed in their home, they will have a great referral.  I used GrabBars Etc.  The installer is named, Terry Gesell.  He has been installing adaptive equipment for 26+ years in homes, nursing homes, rehab facilities etc.  Mr. Gesell has a masters degree in Assistive Technology and is a Certified and licensed Occupational Therapy Assistant.  He not only did an outstanding job, but he has a wealth of information about adaptive equipment and can install any that a person is wanting or needing.  I am a retired RN and for the last 30 years of my career a large number of the patients I cared for were geriatric patients.  I was very impressed with Terry Gesell and highly recommend him.  Mr. Gesell phone number is: 602-843-8007.  He does reside in the West Valley.  He serves the greater Metro Phoenix area, as well as Northern Arizona.  He is licensed, insured and bonded and he is with the AZ Registrar of Contractors: ROC337404.  I have not been asked to write this review.  I just believe in sharing information when I have a great experience.

This is a great woodworking club with friendly, helpful and knowledgeable members.  On the day I signed up, I was given the materials & instructions needed and left less than 4 hours later with a beautiful pen.  I turned the wood blank on the lathe, sanded, finished and inserted the pen parts with confidence.  I appreciate Doug taking time out to give a newbie the pen parts and instructions I needed.  This is truly a club with caring members that enjoy helping others.

Finally... after a year in the making, we searched and found Josh, the right builder, to redo our mid century ranch carport in Cave Creek. We have a brand new pine tongue and grove ceiling and redwood gable ends. We stained over 100 (12' ) boards on our own before installation. We are very happy with the results, and the attention to detail. I would recommend Josh!

Had them make a contemporary farmhouse style dining table and bench. Handmade locally in Queen Creek. Listened to our needs and wants and worked to make it happen. Table looks great and already getting lots of compliments. They are pretty busy (that's a good thing!) so get your order in early to allow for wait time. They gave us a great quote for a bathroom remodel but were late every day compared to when they said they would arrive. Sink countertop has issues they did not resolve well. Promised pictures of issues with our roof and never provided. Said they were not capable of doing roof repair and would subcontract and then did it themselves

Do not hire Joseph and Artisan Carpentry for any work. I did not do my homework on checking him out first and now I am paying the price. I hired him to do epoxy countertops and gave him a deposit for materials. He gave me a date that he would begin the work and finish it. He cancelled multiple times and then said that he would return my deposit. He only gave me a potion back and has not returned the rest. After reading other reviews I am thankful that he did not start my job and mess up my whole house. My heart goes out to those who have had to redo his poor craftsmanship.

He is a shame to the tradesmen who do good work. He is a liar and does not follow through with his promises. Beware and please do your homework before he gets your money. I am now forced to take further action to try and recover my loss. Warning! Avoid him.
