We've used Affordable Home Improvements twice for a patio & garage light installation and then for flooring to be replaced from termite damage.  Both times communication & service were excellent with extremely reasonable pricing.

We had some kitchen remodeling done recently and Neil was tasked to do much of the installation and detailed trim out. Incredibly nice, very skilled and very professional results. I would not hesitate to call him again and definitely recommend. He specializes in all types of carpentry including higher end work, and it showed to us. Don't bother with this guy.  I found him on Craigslist and sent an email explaining what I wanted. He replied back that the project sounded like fun. I asked several time for him to call me to give him more details which I pretty much did in the email.  He finally got back with me and he wanted me to draw a picture of what I was wanting.  I explained to him I needed 10 rectangular boxes, with 12 sides and the height would be 18.  Not something very hard i would think for someone in the carpentry line. All I wanted was a light wood material that would not be heavy and a way that the boxes can be put together and taken apart on the fly.  I asked him to draw something up for me and give me a quote.  He just hung up on me. I guess the project was harder than he expected and didn't want to bother.
