If you have sewer issues, David is the guy to call. He was able to get his camera deep into our sewer connection (which another plumber was not able to) and diagnose the problem. Work started the next day (digging a trench to replace part of our connection to the city main) and was completed efficiently and safely (barriers and trench protection). Pricing was reasonable and no changes. Not much more you can ask for.

Job was supposed to take 3 days but it wound-up taking 2 weeks. Although there were some minor setbacks, there were too many days when nobody was here working, or someone was only here for a few hours. Including the delays the job was done according to Tyler.

One month later see photos:
Tyler, This is what has happened as a result of not filling in the dirt properly. Also you can clearly see that the seeding barely grew.  
I am hoping that you will fix this as it was created by your Company digging it all out.  The entire area was flat and grassy before any work was done. You even commented to Richard that you were sorry about how the lawn was damaged from the equipment.

Its been 5 months now and a worker just shows up here without prior notice. We've been promised this for many weeks, but this drop in stuff is very unprofessional. I guess he knew we were past the point of being patient, so he was no longer acting civil or even making eye contact when spoken to.  I once again explained exactly how the fence and grounds were promised to be when the job was bid by Tyler. He just mumbled something at me and proceeded to do it his way despite the efforts of myself and my very ill husband to provide simple details to him.  I can't express in words how frustrating this project has been. Like most people, we have lives to lead and expect highly paid and self promoted professionals to do as they promise and as we, the ones who write the check, need them to do the job they commit to in writing. With a very active dog who can't use our back yard for 3 months because these guys can't make a phone call or commitment to fill a dirt hole or sink a fence post properly is absurd.
Do you really want your next plumbing emergency repair (or anything) promised to take a certain time, stretched out for 5 or more months? Or, when it goes badly, do want your desperate emails and calls to go ignored for week after week after week....?

This is my first ever Yelp review and I decided to write my honest review for After Hour Services.

My kitchen sink has been stuck for more than 12 hrs. I tried different methods for 5 hrs but still couldn't get it resolved.

After Hours Services exceeded my expectations in many ways-

Responsive: Will replied my request for quote under 10 mins, and replied my text and call fairly quickly.

Professional: Will got things done in under 30 mins. In addition, Will was very thorough in examining andexplaining the issue. What I love the most is that he cleaned up the area after the issue was fixed.

Transparent pricing: he's honest and it's a flat fee and very reasonable price. I got different quotes and his is the most transparent.

On-time: he was on time, which is a very big factor for me.

Overall, I recommend Will and After Hour Services, with passion.

I had a plumbing issue three years ago or so and called a well advertised plumber who, upon inspecting our home, suggested we'd need to spend $10,000. A friend referred me to Jerry who came over and addressed everything for $412. Yes....$412. I have since had him update a couple of systems. He is responsive, professional, personable and affordable. I would not hesitate recommending him, and indeed, I do, often.

Jeff is absolutely amazing! He has done several projects for us over the years ranging from replacing toilets to plumbing new outdoor faucet. His quality and expertise is unmatched.

We live in a very old neighborhood with 100 year-old sewer lines from house to main. Ours was invaded by roots to a point that it was becoming a yearly problem, and finally our last emergency clog was deemed unsolvable by Rescue Rooter, who did the camera and first estimate. Second place a few days later.. another camera and estimate. (Meanwhile we can't use washer or shower due to slow drainage).  Rob at Pro Sewer was the first to make the extra effort to CLEAR the line-- and his estimate (new outside cleanout and liner) was the most reasonable. The work was done without a hitch exactly as offered and on schedule. I would definitely go with Pro Sewer Repair again without hesitation.

We have been using Schuerman plumbing for over 15 years and have been completely satisfied every single time. They are always prompt, kind and do excellent work for fair prices.
We will continue to use their services as long as they are in business!

Simple no-hassle business. Very clear, very honest, and does a fantastic job with his craft. I'd call Jay again before any of the guys with radio and TV commercials. Their rates have always been ridiculous. Jay is up front about pricing and doesn't charge hidden fees like a fee just to show up at your place then another fee to do the work and fees for each part.

One price and he'll teach you exactly what he's doing when he does it so that you can learn for next time!

Best plumber ever!  Was quick and less than his competition.  Charged $1,000 less than the closest estimate when a pipe under our slab busted.  Installed a dishwasher and toilet for us as well and did an excellent job.  Honest to a fault.  I'll never use another plumber.

I have a major plumbing crush on Ben!  Our super trustworthy go-to plumber moved to Georgia so I have been searching for a new one.  I got several quotes from plumbers recommended by neighbors and friends and all the bids came about the same, but my gut told me to go with Ben.  And after experiencing the quality and care from Whitelaw, I am now so HAPPY that my old plumber moved away! (sorry John!)

Ben is hardcore.  He works efficiently, neatly, and passionately!  And his passion for plumbing is contagious!  I find myself gazing at the incredible work he did in our bathroom.  I love my new angle stops so much!  So much.  

Not only does he have the best plumbing skillz, he also has the most fantastic service I have ever experienced.  As an example, we had him quote putting a new toilet in, but then my spouse got ambitious and decided to do it himself.  Well, he failed.  And when Ben came to do the other work, he saw our problem, identified how to fix it, THEN rearranged his schedule, AND stayed until 7:30pm at our house on a Friday night.  He said, I don't want to leave anything half done.  It was just incredibly kind and customer-centered of him.  I mean, it was our fault, and we threw him for a loop.  Truly the most excellent person we have hired to work on our 90-year old home!

My only anxiety is that one day Ben is going to be so Yelp famous that he will be forced to change his incredibly thoughtful business model or sacrifice his unbeatable quality to meet the flood of demand.  

He is as good as it gets!  Plumbing work is usually such a scary thing but I cannot wait to work with him next time because I know we will be in very good hands.

EMERGENCY PLUMBING TOO- we recently had an emergency water/plumbing situation and did an all call to several plumbers, desperate to get a quick fix regardless of the quality.  Guess who called me back first?  Whitelaw!  He was at our house in less than 24 hours and did a fantastic job as usual!

Great best response I am able to correct the problem quickly. They were not cheap and the quote for additional services was very high.  I certainly recommend them in an emergency

We are extremely pleased with Dirt Cheap's repair/upgrade of our sewer line.  After 70 years of operation, we were looking to replace an exterior sewer pipe.  Every 2 to 3 years we would have to get a plumber to cut out the roots clogging our sewer line.  The last time it happened was December 24th.

It was a multi year process to find the right company to do the job.  We received 4-5 bids.  Dirt Cheap had the least invasive solution, had the best warranty (25-year Transferable Warranty), and had the best price.  The workers were experienced, worked hard and were a pleasure to work with.

They installed 2 liners and replaced one long sewer pipe.  The materials were all first rate.  After installation, the team pressure tested the system and the city inspector gave final approval to the project.

This is a very ethical company with high standards.  After the dirt and original turf were put back in place, the area looked as good as before.  There is no point showing the before and after pictures of the yard, because the pictures look identical.  

I have absolutely no problem recommending Dirt Cheap for your sewer line needs.  Thank you to the gang at Dirt Cheap!!

Jon is top notch!  He's trustworthy, quick to respond, schedule time and efficiently replace all plumbing in my old, but newly remodeled home.  In addition to getting the work done, he provided great advice and suggestions.  He's very knowledgable and his consultative nature helped us get the best quality products and service, for which we otherwise had not known.  I was also highly impressed with his suggestion to replace the in-line, which was in dire need.  He did a trenchless water line replacement and a repipe, super quick and effective without any holes dug in my yard.  Jon is now my #1 go to guy for any and all future plumbing work.  Clearly, I highly recommend him to anyone for any job.

These guys are the best. They came out same day to help me with a leak in my kitchen. Very responsive and very helpful. I am glad that I called them.

Called All Ways Rooter and they not only showed up early, Sam was a consummate professional. He diagnosed the issue with my kitchen sink quickly and had my garbage disposal reset and properly sealed in an hour or so. He advised me on ways to fix future issues myself and was pleasant to be around as well. If you are ever fortunate enough to get Sam as your tech, you won't be disappointed!

Plus - came quickly, technicians were friendly and courteous
Minus - no clear breakdown of costs which seemed much higher than warranted for the time spent and work performed compared to another company with whom I have experience.

These guys were recommended to me by our inspector RW West. I was very disappointed with their service, and this is something I have fed back to our inspector.

Elvis and the other guy (Asian guy with blue contacts, maybe Tim?) came out to our house and basically refused to do anything related to the actual problem I called them out for, without first getting paid. I called them for the simple issue of installing a p-trap in a shower that had recently been renovated. The work was to be done in the crawlspace. Every other plumber that came out went into the crawlspace and looked at the actual issue and gave me a bid. Not these guys. They basically gave me a worst case scenario of what could happen and what probably needed to be done without actually knowing anything about my specific problem. They loved to talk but didn't listen. They had nothing but contempt for the work of the previous contractor and basically spoke as if they were the only two real plumbers and everyone else was a hack. I asked him if he would like to actually go down to the crawlspace before making a judgment on how difficult this task would be.

His exact words We don't go down to the crawlspace for free. That'll be $150. And then suggested that I do his job for him and go down there and send him a video.

He took my email and said he would give me a quote but never ended up contacting me or returning any of my calls or voicemails.

I'm not sure why they even bothered coming out if they were going to do nothing. It was a waste of both my time and theirs.

Avoid these guys unless you like your contractors to be arrogant and dismissive.

We had a plumbing/Drain problem and Ryan did a great job explaining the issue and giving us 3 different options. He did a great job fixing it fast. I later called the call center to make a payment, and Tara was very professional and helpful.
