I can't say enough good things about Erik and his team! We had a wonky problem with our water heater leaking and they were persistent in diagnosing it, finally resolving after trying several fixes. Simply Leak Detection pinpointed a leak deep under my driveway between the house and the street. I called Erik and his crew worked very hard to dig to the pipe (more than 5 feet under the asphalt) and correct the problem.
This was by far the cheapest estimate I got, they were very friendly and got the job done. I'll go again with Erik any time.

We hired Erik to do a full bathroom install (drainage rough in, new water lines, toilet, double vanity, add fixtures.
Here are the issues we have found to date. Dripping P-trap, dripping supply lines, trim not fastened firmly against the tile (minor grout shaving needed, not done), trim not caulked, shower drain not centered, toilet not centered then tile chipped, paint scraped from install, mechanical vent improperly installed, bathtub and shower faucets installed backwards and incorrectly, shower leaking when tub running, pipe shavings and messes not cleaned up before leaving.
Plumbing inspection final failed, hot and cold water for the shower are backwards and would need to tear out the wall to fix them and the left drain on the sink is leaking onto the teak vanity which I didn't catch before so now the $2900 wooden vanity has water damage.

Through the entire process Erik was very passive aggressive and really didn't act like he cared. When asked about the shower drain and toilet not being centered he said, does that really matter?
I would expect a good contractor to say I'm sorry, what can I do to fix it?
This was a $65,000 new bathroom that turned out gorgeous except for the cheap work Erik did.
He was sloppy, cheap and disorganized. Do not waste your time if you are adding a luxury en suite, he might be okay for plunging toilets though.

This service was recommended to us through community members who also worked with Erik.  Erik & his team performed extensive plumbing remodeling for us which included adding a new bathroom to our basement & two upstairs bathroom remodels.  Things went mostly smoothly, though, there were a few minor issues that cropped up (as I'm sure is normal for such extensive plumbing work); Erik & his team took care of any problems promptly.  Erik is honest & straight forward in his pricing unlike other plumbers in the industry can be.  We are very happy with the new bathrooms and the plumbing that was performed.

We tried to use Eric D plumbing but he said that they would not work if it had snowed.  He said that he had liability to take his truck out and didn't want a possible accident.  I am frustrated, I understand being swamped with work but the greater Seattle area now has snow every year for a week or two.  Plumbing is an essential service so why no work if it snows?   In fact, that's when plumbers are needed the most due to frozen pipes. I'm not talking a blizzard but only about 1 inch of snow.  That's what winter snow tires are for.      It would be like the police or firefighters saying, no, we don't go out if there is snow.  I'm probably biased because several members of our families are essential workers and they work no matter what.  We could really use more plumbers on the eastside.

Fast service and fair pricing!  Our garbage disposal died and needed to be replaced, and these guys had it done in less than half an hour.  Also had them look at an outdoor faucet that kept leaking on me, and they had that diagnosed and fixed in a jiffy.  Couldn't find anything else for them to do, so they were in an out in 45 minutes.  Will make sure I have a longer list of issues next time since they charge a minimum of one hour, but will definitely call them in the future.

We hired Erik to investigate and repair a couple of leaks (one with water spots on the garage ceiling; another in the water heater). He was able to diagnose both issues immediately (leaky toilet; failed soldering in a pipe joint) and fixed both issues in under an hour. Honest and professional -- would highly recommend.

I moved into a new house and needed some plumbing work done. This included plumbing a new gas line, installing a new toilet, repairing a leaky toilet, hooking up the fridge's ice maker to the water supply, and more.

Erik ended up helping me with all the above and he did a great job. He was supposed to come on a Friday, but we had to reschedule last minute and he was nice enough to fit us in early the next week. He even tackled some additional items that we brought up on the day of his visit. After his visit, I had some problems with my water heater (ended up being unrelated to his visit) and he helped me debug the issue over the phone.

Erik is a really interesting guy with a good sense of humor. I enjoyed working with him and he will be my go-to plumber for as long as he is in business.

Great from start to finish.  Excellent communication.  Very flexible to work with my schedule.  I had three toilets (two very old ones) to be replaced.  They arrived right when Erik said they would.  They had all the work done in less than 2.5 hours.  Took all the old toilets and everything with them as well as all the cardboard from the new toilets.   They were friendly and were happy to let my dog wander around and check on them so that she felt good about them being there and I didn't have to lock her in a room for hours.  Charged a very fair price.  Would definitely use this business again without thinking of looking for someone else.  I highly recommend this company.

Eric is by far and away my go-to choice for a plumber. He's fixed my disposal and replaced a water heater. He's prompt, attentive to detail, clean, and professional. His prices are very fair and his time estimate is spot on. I recommend him highly and will choose him when I next need a plumber. Be aware that there is an additional charge to use a credit card to pay, so you'll want to have a checkbook handy.

I've had Erik do a number of projects for me. (Kitchen faucet, dishwasher installation, new powder room, relocating washer dryer, and a hot water recirculating pump and piping.
Without exception I've always been satisfied, felt I got a fair price and only had the work I required recommended by Erik. You can't go wrong working with Erik.

I'm in California but have a rental house in Seattle.  This house has a sewage injection pump for the whole house's sewage to the main line uphill.  We had to replace the pump a couple of years ago, using a now-defunct plumber, but the tenants had problems recently.  The pump either did not work, or it kept running and wasting a lot of power.  So I sent out requests on a Sunday to several Yelp plumbers, and Eric was the only prompt response.  He called Monday morning, and I gave him the details I knew (not much) and the tenant's phone number.

He coordinated with them, and called me about an hour later saying the check valve needed to be replaced for a total bill of $250.  I was a little shocked at the (what seemed to me to be a) low price. :-)  But I asked about the pump itself, and he said that the existing one was underpowered and might be suspect, although he never tried to push me to get a new one.  But I decided to get one to solve the problem for long term, as I don't like to deal with problems, and I don't want my tenants (and their young kids) to deal with sewage problems.

So, he called about an hour later saying the pump was installed, tested, and everything was fine. He was able to take my credit card info over the phone.  Total cost was $680 plus taxes.  I have no idea how that compares to other plumbers, but I don't think it was too much, considering it was dealing with raw sewage.  And I found out from the tenants that the outlet pipe had been loose, so the sewage had leaked back into the chamber, which is what caused the pump to overwork.  So, it sounds like it was pretty messy.

The tenants told me the plumber seemed to really know his stuff and was very nice to deal with even though he was quite busy getting calls from people needing urgent plumbing needs.

I almost hate adding a good review, as he might become too busy to be so responsive in the future.  But I didn't want to be selfish, so I decided to share.  :-)

We were in a pickle with a bathroom sink that decided to stop draining. I wanted to work with someone local and after reading the reviews decided to give Erik a call. This was a Tuesday morning and although I received his voicemail quickly after I received a text letting me know he was with a customer and would call me in a bit.

Not much time passed and Erik called. I explained the situation I was in and he shared he could meet that night! What's that Batman? YES...the day I call he can meet me. He arrived when he said he would, was polite and professional and quickly cleared our problem.

You can tell from my reviews (and it's been awhile) that I rarely give out 5 star reviews but Erik deserves it. Prompt on calling me back (on a Friday late afternoon) and was able to get a very nagging clogged pipe unclogged the next day. I have no idea of costs to fix these type of things but what he quoted and charged me for seemed super fair. Especially after all the horror stories I read about Mr. Rooter and Beacon completely ripping people off.

I  had a major plumbing  problem with my bathtub  not draining!  I called another company and trusted they would fix it. After a short time they said it was fixed and charged  me 632.00!  They didn't  fix i at all. Refused to reimburse  me. zlater I called Erik D. and it was a very different ending.They showed up on time. assessed the problem and shortly Erik showed up and explained the details and began working for a few hours. Finished a job that was said by the first plumbers  to cost me thousands!   Eric is smart confident  and able to deliver. I had an outdoor spigot on the back of my house that was leaking behind the wall siding and on top of that, low pressure to the shower head in one of my bathrooms.  Erik and his brother came out, assessed what needed to be done, and had it all fixed in less than an hour.  That included replacing the outdoor spigot entirely and finding out that my shower water had debris clogging up the head.  All done at a very reasonable price, will be calling him again for my future needs!

Erik D Plumber was highly recommended by some members of my CrossFit gym so I thought I would give them a call and compare their quotes to the other quotes I had received. They were very responsive and super easy to work with. Their quote was very reasonable and the plumber, Brian, who provided the quote is really friendly. We ended up choosing them to redo our shower valves as part of our shower remodel, fix the broken overflow and install a new waterline for our refrigerator - we can finally make ice!  I will definitely use them for future plumbing needs.

A failed wax ring in a condo is a insurance claim waiting to happen. So at the first sign of water on the floor my Husband and I said we gotta fix this.  So off we went to our local hardware store to purchase a wax ring.  

We went home and after watching several youtube videos said we got this.  

So we pulled the toilet, scrapped the remains of the disintegrated ring away and put the new one on.  

Enter this girl here, not so strong, and clumsy and....when we were oh so carefully positioning the toilet for the install...dropped the toilet. New wax ring destroyed, water still leaking.

My home has a sewer ejector. Anyone who has one is feeling my pain right about now. Over the last 10 years I have had to self-service it approx 3x's/year. Not exactly a good time :-). I finally had enough messing around in other people's you-know-what. I called Erik D Plumber. He installed a new ejector and re-engineered it in my tank. Been over a year now. Not one issue since, so I decided to write a review. Couldn't be more happy - like backflippin' happy! And he backs up his work if there are any issues. Erik is the rockstar of d plumbers. You won't be disappointed...

I used Erik last year to install a supply line to my refrigerator and was pleased with the job he did and the reasonable pricing. . .
     Then, last week I contacted him again to perform a small plumbing repair at a house owned by a client of mine. He said he would be able to do the work, but couldn't get to in until sometime next week. I told him that was fine. The house is vacant and he could complete the project at his leisure (as long as the project was completed before the end of this week). Just to make sure he didn't forget about me (he sounded pretty busy when we spoke), I told him I would follow up with a message to him through his website, which I sent immediately after speaking with him.
     Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday of this week pass without a call. So today I called him to find out when he expected to be able to go to the house. He remembered our conversation and remembered seeing the email I'd sent him, but admitted that my project hadn't been added to the calendar and that now the earliest he could get to me would be sometime next week. The repair cannot wait until next week, so now I am unfortunately forced to hire an emergency repair plumber, for which I assume I will pay emergency rates.
     As the owner of a small business, I know what it's like to get busy. Sometimes my company gets booked out several months in advance. But when a professional commits to completing a project, I forgot is NOT an acceptable excuse!
     As I mentioned at the start of this post, Erik does good work and his prices are fair, but to be left in the lurch like this is a huge bummer. I won't be calling him again. :(

I have worked with many a contractor in my ownership of 6 different properties (total 10 units) and Erik is always one of the best. He's my go to plumbing guy as he does good, reliable and reasonably priced work. As a real estate agent, I am asked regularly for referrals to local service providers of all kinds for housing, and when plumbing comes up, he is my first referral every time.  In fact, so many of my clients end up liking his work (and him) that they end up referring him to their friends and family too and using him as their longtime plumbing helper. That alone is a sign of a guy who is doing a good job because no one calls a mediocre plumber out again.  He's done work on 4 of my properties and the only reason he has worked on the other rental units I own is because they are out of state.

I highly recommend Erik's work.  Plus, for a plumber, he's got a great, dry sense of humor!

He didn't reply emails and calls. It has been a week. two emails and one voice message. I get that it is the busy time of the year, but he can just reply a simple message saying he won't have time. We had a toilet installed from him before. He did replied me promptly last time. I really don't get it..........

I thought I was hearing water dripping noise in the ceiling, so I called and just got the appointment. He investigated noise and told me it is most likely water hammering noise. He said he could put some holes in the wall and investigate but as long as I do not see the obvious sign of leakage, it is not likely that there exists a water leakage. At the end, he told me that he won't charge me anything, so I offered a tip but he did not take it either. I have not had any experience with plumbers before, but I think I can trust these people.

I've needed help from Erik D Plumber twice now and both times the service was exceptional. They found a way to fit me in last minute when I had a very leaky outdoor faucet. Erik came out to install a new hot water heater I had purchased.  He was great!  He was there a few minutes early, did a great job, & was very reasonably priced.  I'd recommend.

Fantastic plumber he found the problem and fixed in less time than I thought possible.  Without a doubt the best plumber I have ever used.  Never a problem after his work (used him twice for two separate issues) I would definitely recommend him to anyone needing plumbing work.

Erik did what I had thought would be a simple DIY job  -- a kitchen faucet installation.  The area, however, was too tight for me to handle it and I would have had to buy tools (that I would have used once).  Erik installed it perfectly, speedily, and with a terrific attitude and a fair price.  All in all, a great way to do business, and I recommend him highly.

Erik is exactly what you want in a plumber. Responsive, honest, prompt, capable, and doesn't try to gouge you. Plus, he's versatile. He needed to cut through the drywall to repair a leak, then did a bang-up job patching it back up, eliminating the need to call another contractor. Highly recommend him.

Erik is the perfect plumber- super-competent,  patient, generous with his knowledge, just a nice guy... really can't say enough about him.  In a very short amount of time he did 4 jobs, including one I had been quite fearful of, in case it wasn't handled correctly (old pipes).. All went smoothly.  He later helped me think thru another (non-plumbing) house issue.  He can do carpentry jobs as well.    Very reasonable rates.

Erik did a simple outdoor freeze proof faucet replacement.  I was going to do it myself but every time I try a simple fix, there is always a problem.  Sure enough the connections were so tight that he needed the really big wrenches to bust the faucet loose.  He was  fast, respectful and did a quality job.  Since there is minimum one hour charge, I had him clear up a slow running bathtub drain and adjust a sink stopper as part of the hour charge.  Will use him again since I can trust him to do the job right.
