I really wish I could give Green Planet a ten-star review.  I am so impressed with the initial conversations (well, e-mails) we had about a toilet problem.

Because I live in a condo, I was concerned about the water running constantly.  They advised me to simply turn off the water flow to the toilet until it could be repaired.

The plumbers arrived precisely on time and were so pleasant, so professional and so kind to my two cats who are absolutely positive the world revolves around them.   I am surprised there was enough room in the bathroom for the 2 Green Planet guys and the two cats who supervised.

The guys gave me two choices: repair or replace the toilet.  Both estimates seemed very reasonably priced.  They fixed the problem and also gave me a quote to replace my kitchen sink which I will do sometime this summer.      

Here's the thing about Green Planet Plumbing; it is so apparent to me that they care about the quality of their work, they care about helping their customers and they care about being professional and kind.  

In our culture, far too many people will take the time to write a bad review, complain about the cost or the time a project took, etc.  Those people forget that the trades' people like Green Planet were out there working in the worst of COVID while most of the world hunkered down.  

I cannot recommend Green Planet Plumbing enough.  They are a quality company with a quality team.

Contacted After Hours Services, got a text message back quickly. Set up a time for the next day (the water was turned off, so it was annoying but not an emergency).
Will came out. Found the problem. Patched the leak, by splicing in a piece of copper pipe. Good work; fair price; nice guy!

I had a plumbing issue three years ago or so and called a well advertised plumber who, upon inspecting our home, suggested we'd need to spend $10,000. A friend referred me to Jerry who came over and addressed everything for $412. Yes....$412. I have since had him update a couple of systems. He is responsive, professional, personable and affordable. I would not hesitate recommending him, and indeed, I do, often.

Our costs to hire Stellar Plumbing, we were out about $135 in parts they ruined and the weeks it took waiting for them to return calls and then hiring others to do the job right.

I have worked with contractors including plumbers for over 10 years.  Our two regular guys were busy so I checked yelp. I saw the good reviews so I hired Stellar Plumbing to set a tub in concrete.

He showed up, but he didn't set the tub in concrete. He did not dry fit (e.g. put it in place without gluing it) the tub into the space nor the drain kit to the tub.  Instead with the tub not yet in the correct location he attached the drain pipe to the abs stub coming out of the floor and glued everything together.  Only then did he go to put the tub in place and found out the tub didn't fit in the space (the alcove back wall was a little too narrow).  He said anyone could finish the job and when I said what about setting the tub in concrete, that this is what he had been hired to do, he seemed very surprised, like he never knew that.  Then he proceeded to call the boss to discuss the job in detail (what he did, what he could not do, what was being done next, etc.).  Now if this is supposed to be a one man company, who was at the job site and who was the boss he was calling to discuss what he had done and what he should do next?

I was very skeptical if the portion of work that as done had been done right because if the drain pipe for the overflow & drain openings are off 1/4 you are forcing the abs into place and fastening it there (e.g. it is being stressed forever and will fail early) or worse if you have to tilt it some to get the abs to be flush with the tub wall it does not create a good seal with the installer just hoping that the gaskets will fill in the difference enough to make it work (e.g. one side of the gasket is over-tight against the tub wall and the other one is just barely tight against the tub wall).  

When I expressed concern with the work having been done in this order (I have never seen it done in this order nor would I do it in that order myself because of the problems it caused), he replied I am a professional.  A professional would have a discussed the issue, just saying that doesn't mean he knows how or does a good job.

I wanted to give Stellar plumbing the benefit of the doubt so I left things as we will widen the alcove back corner and then call him about the next step.  Well, when I  checked the work done (putting the drain kit on and ptrap in and attaching it to the pipe coming from the house).  

I found severe problems which resulted in the entire work done needing to be ripped out and redone.  The reasons why:
1) They violated the plumbing code by using the wrong fittings in the wrong places so it would never pass an inspection and be a place that is would be prone to clogs in the future.  Note: We had provided  a number of fittings of which at least 3 configurations could have been put in that would not have violated plumbing code.

2) He didn't bother to dry fit the drain kit to the tub before he glued it and it turns out though it was adjustable in length, the horizontal piece under the drain at the shortest length was 3/4 too long and would never fit.  The drain kit & tub were from the same manufacturer and sold as working together but it would never work (the manufacturer said just take it back and get a different style).  

I called Stellar plumbing several times over several days and left two messages but never got a call back.  We gave up after a week and had someone else cut out his work and put in new parts that were to code and fit and do the original job that Stellar plumbing was hired for - setting the tub in concrete.  He sent a bill for 2 hours of work, he should have showed up, spent 15 minutes dry-fitting the tub in the alcove, and left without doing any other work.

He finally called a few weeks later asking for his money, the issues were explained, he would not discuss them and I told him I knew a couple of the pluming inspection supervisors and we can run it by them,  he just talked a lot of nonsense without listening or having a back and forth conversation - I think he was drunk.

Our costs to hire Stellar plumbing:
@$65 - the drain kit that has been glued to abs and could not be returned.
@$20 - abs parts we supplied and he glued together so they could not be reused.
@50 - money spent on workers to help him move the tub in place and to manage his work.

If you don't know plumbing codes or best plumbing practices, do not hire Stellar plumbing. Your cost would be @$500 to tear out the walls and clean up the mildew/mold/dryrot caused by leaks in the abs pipe and then pay to have it all done again.

I had a sewer backup of course on a Saturday which left me with no plumbing. I had roto rooter out which couldn't fix the issue after finding my line was broke. They of course could come out the next day to dig 7 feet and lay 5 feet of pipe for $17,365!!! No way, so the calls started and many messages left. By Monday morning there was still no returned calls and lucky for me bringing up sewer replacement again popped up a new company I hadn't seen the first time, Pro Sewer Repair. Frustrated, I called and Rob answered right away. After talking with him he recommended Action Jackson to come jet my lines to see if they could break through and get a clear picture. While on the phone he had already texted them and they were calling. They called came out, located the break and Rob had his team out the next morning to dig. Todd and Garrett were extremely professional, knowledgeable, hard workers and got the job done in a very timely manner and made sure they left my yard as it was when they arrived. Let me mention they were extremely less than what I was originally quoted for the job and everyone has been amazing to work with. I WILL be doing future business with them and referring all my friends, neighbors and real estate family to Pro Sewer Repair from now on. If you're looking for a professional job at a reasonable cost, these are your guys hands down.

We had worked with 2 other plumbers on our new (very old) home before having Schuerman Plumbing come out. Not only were they prompt in getting back to me, but they were friendly, of great value, and did the work impeccably. We won't be calling anyone else for our plumbing needs in the future. Can't recommend them highly enough!

How often does this happen?! We just had the best ever plumbing/plumber experience with Above Plumbing. The owner is Jay and he is AMAZING. I recently got 3 quotes for a needed pipe repair, and not only was he the least expensive, but he gave me lots of options, talked about what I'd need now and also on down the road, was incredibly patient, down to earth, and just all around wonderful. Jay came referred to us by a friend who knows him personally, and has used him professionally, and I am so glad we used him for our repair. We plan to use him in the future when we re-plumb our whole place.
If you are looking for the best plumber, the whole package, you've found him. He's wonderful.

Ben is the best plumber I have ever had, and I've hired quite a few.  Ben's professional style sets him apart from others, and he genuinely cares about providing top quality worksmanship.  He's not there to just make money and leave, but strives to provide a great service at a great price.  He is passionate about his work and is happy to take the time to do the job right.  Definitely give him a try!

Our morning started off horribly with an embarrassing toilet fiasco. My husband called at 7am and MVPP was at our house by 10am. Tucker the tech was very nice and made light of the embarrassing mess. Everything took 15min and he was so professional. I was able to clean everything up before my son got home and no one was the wiser. Thank you MVPP I would recommend your service to anyone.

We had a sewer back up in our basement so I contacted Dirt Cheap Sewer. They had Angel out to our house within hours. I could not believe it.
Angel was amazing. He diagnosed the situation and using his knowledge of sewer systems, even is our very old house, he SOLVED THE PROBLEM right then!

Jon is top notch!  He's trustworthy, quick to respond, schedule time and efficiently replace all plumbing in my old, but newly remodeled home.  In addition to getting the work done, he provided great advice and suggestions.  He's very knowledgable and his consultative nature helped us get the best quality products and service, for which we otherwise had not known.  I was also highly impressed with his suggestion to replace the in-line, which was in dire need.  He did a trenchless water line replacement and a repipe, super quick and effective without any holes dug in my yard.  Jon is now my #1 go to guy for any and all future plumbing work.  Clearly, I highly recommend him to anyone for any job.

Used these guys in place of my regular plumber. Prices were good, finished work was good, couple hiccups.. no biggie. Scheduling was easy. Job was in Kent.

Had a new pipe added for our high efficiency washer. Team did good work. Had to come back to fix an issue but took care of it fairly quickly. No problems since. Would consider using them again.

These guys are the bomb! Were here in 2 hours got the wall open & fixed the leak in the fastest cleanest job ever my family has water. Sam is a plumbing-GOD did this so fast, so clean, highly recommend these guys!

Had a basement drain overflow and since we are expecting numerous rain/wind storms I didn't/couldn't wait for someone to come out later in the week.  I called on a Wednesday night around 6pm and they had someone out by 7:30pm.  Ron came out and was super friendly and cheerful.  He snaked our main drain and cleared the clog.  We had two areas he said that probably had roots and the company will send someone with a camera free of charge to let us know what is going on tomorrow.  The work is guaranteed for 4 years.  It cost $460, which is pricey, but he did come out after hours and it was worth it for me because we have those storms rolling in tomorrow.  Ron was great!

I cannot even begin to say how AMAZING Tech City Plumbing is, and especially Tim! This is our second time using Tim. Originally we were referred to Elvis (great customer service) who referred us to Tim because of availability. Number ONE: they are so honest!! Let's get to the point, no one wants to pay more than they need to. Tim was honest, and told us what we needed to repair but also told us things that didn't need to be done. He looked out for us. Number two: he responded to our request (arrived at our house) within 24 hours, both times! One of the visits we actually didn't have a problem, he showed us and didn't charge us. Who does that these days? I figured he would charge us a big fee for coming out, and instead told us that he values our business?!?! Where do you see that these days? I don't. The point is: when you hire a plumber, you look for integrity, honesty and a strong work ethic. Tim has all these. I would trust him with any plumbing job, big or small. I will be telling all of my friends and family about him. Look no further, go with Tech City and ask for Tim! Know that your money is going in the right place.

Was just bent over by SW plumbing today.  Yes, my bad, but WTF?  snaked my toilet and the sewer line going out, was here for less than 2hrs, no parts needed, $770.  Don't use these clowns, i paid the price for being an idiot, don't do the same.
