Loved that they wore their masks. They were friendly and explained everything they needed to do before they did it. Saved us a lot money by not having to bust out the concrete which could have cost thousands! They were neat and tidy, and careful to not cause more damage than necessary.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Work was completed satisfactory, but they will clean out your bank account. I recommend looking for someone cheaper.

I would just like to thank the owners of Johnny Rooter for doing such a good job of building a team that cares about customer service. I have had them come out on 3 different occasions now, someone different every time, but always pleasantly surprised. They are among the most competent, professional, and friendly group of plumbers I've ever met. I don't know what they're doing to attract all the best plumbers in Austin, but it's nice to know that they all can be reached at one phone number. Thanks for all your help!

Hands down, A Deal Plumbing is the best plumbing business in Austin! We have a house built in 1950, and it's had tons of plumbing problems over decades. Until I lucked up and found A Deal Plumbing, about 10 years ago, we'd had many plumbers here with fair to bad results. But the plumbing throughout the house is in great shape now thanks to Arnold and his sons. In addition to handling competently ANY kind of plumbing problem, Arnold and his sons are honorable, totally trustworthy men. What a fine business!!!

Polite and do good work, but, they will NOT provide an itemized estimate or itemize the parts on your invoice.

After not getting call backs from 3-4 other plumbers, found and called Frank at Trio Plumbing Solution. All I can say is Excellent service. Took my call, and discussed replacing my leaking water heater. Within 24 hours, Frank and his associate showed up and replaced my water heater. It's clear Frank knows his business - personable, honest and does excellent work. Will definitely be calling Trio Plumbing in the future.

These guys were one of three I called to inquire about replacing my water heater. They were able to quickly set an appointment and swing by. When talking about the estimate they noticed the switch was in the incorrect location. Turns out sometime between our move in and some upgrades we made the switch was moved and the water wasn't heating. One flick of the switch and our hot water is back. Too be honest, as busy as I've been, they could have taken me for a ride on the heater, but I appreciate the honesty and the fact they didn't charge me for the visit. I had another guy look at it a few hours before from one of the larger chains and even though he also looked around, he didn't catch it (or didn't bring it up).
Regarding cost, having received the three bids, he was right at about the price of the most competitive bid I received, but they use Rheem professional products (higher quality than what you can get at Home Depot).
In all, based on great customer service and competitive pricing I would strongly recommend you give them a call about replacing your residential water heater.

I am BEYOND grateful to 4 Paws Plumbing. After SNOVID, we were up schitt's creek without a paddle. Busted brand new water heater and couldn't get a plumber to actually show up. I was losing my mind not having hot water in my house. Laundry, dishes, stinky kiddos. At 6pm on a Friday, 4Paws arrived because my neighbor who is a builder called in a favor for me. I was so desperate. Our incredible neighbor let us buy his water heater from him (he said he could wait a month or two for a new one, since you literally could not find a water heater to buy in the state of TX after snowmageddon) and 4Paws had it installed within an hour. I was beyond impressed and so, so grateful. I will only use 4Paws Plumbing for all my plumbing needs going forward.
...And shout out to the terrible Austin Metro Plumbing for giving me a confirmed appointment via text, making me wait a week, and then NOT showing up or returning my phone call or text message. Y'all need to take some lessons from 4 Paws Plumbing on customer service.
4 Paws are honest, hardworking plumbing rockstars!

Justin (the owner) is real professional and great to work with. Jeremy our plumber took real good care of us, once with a gas leak and another with frozen pipes. This company hasn't let me down, I highly recommend them! Give them a call!

Quick detection and repair of a flex line in our hot water heater. Justin and Taylor were great. I highly recommend them.

IF YOU NEED A PLUMBER CALL SQUARED AWAY PLUMBING! THEY ARE THE BEST! (I can't help yelling, they're that good!)
I am a recent home buyer in Leander. I had a leak in the black box in my yard where my water connects to the city meter. The city informed me that it was up to me to get a plumber and have it fixed. I used Angie's List to find recommended local plumbers. I asked 2 plumbers for estimates. the first quoted $1300. YIKES! I about had a heart attack!
Marc from Squared Away Plumbing came out this morning and did the repair for $370! Less than 1/3 what the other plumber wanted to charge.
I will NEVER use anyone else, Squared Away is my plumber for life-- and should be yours too.
Squared Away Plumbing is THE BEST! ( Marc was delightful )

Thank heaven for Brendin and crew at Cold Is On The Right Plumbing. They are incredibly knowledgeable, equipped with modern technology, and provide outstanding service.
We had the ultimate homeowner nightmare, there is a large puddle of water in our house coming from a leak somewhere inside a wall, and it's a Friday night. I had heard the horror stories from friends about plumbers tearing up their house trying to find a leak and it costing thousands of dollars just to locate the problem. Even worse for me, my wife had to deal with it all by herself because I was out of town for the weekend and who knows if you can even get someone out on a weekend.
Brendin, the plumbing advisor, came over on Saturday and was able to locate the leak without tearing half the house up. He used an electric current to follow the water inside our walls. Once he located the leak, they just had to open up a small section of wall to run a new water line and bypass the leaking section. Throughout the process, he explained each step he was taking to my wife along with what the possibilities were and potential next steps based on what was indicated. At each step he was actively thinking about how to be the least invasive and most cost efficient for us. It was clear that he was trying to earn a customer for life by providing great service. Well, it worked. Cold Is On The Right will be my go-to plumber from now on.

I needed help with connecting NG line to outdoor kitchen. Chad was great to work with. He took the time fully understand the job and provided a very reasonable quote.
He also tried his best and worked me into his busy schedule to get the job done.
Overall I highly recommend reaching out to him if you feel he could help you out.

For the second time in less than a year, I have called to schedule a plumber. Been sent to the plumbing department voicemail. Requested a call back for a plumbing leak and other service. They do not call back. Poorly run and managed business. Very frustrating. Don't waste your time!

Our house was for sale and Weldon was sent over by our buyers to take a look at our water heater. After finding nothing wrong with the water heater, he rudely left my house, obviously irritated that there was nothing wrong and that he had wasted his time. A few minutes later, he rang my doorbell to tell me he found a problem. He led me to my front yard where he pointed out that the clean out plug (PVC pipe in the front yard that connects to the sewer) was at an angle, and thus, must be broken. He went on to explain how clean out plugs should be set at a 90 degree angle and that he believes a car must have hit ours and broke it. He said how he'd have to hand-dig up a portion of our front yard in order to do the repair and that it'll cost $1,000.
None of this made sense to me. We weren't having any septic-related issues and if a car hit a PVC pipe, wouldn't the PVC pipe break rather than move 4 feet of earth? I didn't have time to argue as my kids were unsupervised in my home so I simply nodded and he left.
When my husband came home from work, I relayed all the information that Weldon had told me. This also made no sense to him so he took the time (literally ten seconds) to do something Weldon did NOT do. My husband removed the PVC pipe cap from the top of the clean out plug and, using a flashlight, looked inside the pipe. The theory is that if a car hit it and broke it to such a degree that it moved the cleanout plug from a 90 degree angle to more of a 45 degree angle, we'd see the damage from the inside of the pipe. Wouldn't you know it, the inside of the pipe looked flawless. Not a crack in sight. We spent a few hours researching clean out plugs as well as talked to several other plumbers and we learned that the angle at which a cleanout plug is installed is purely plumber preference and that setting them at an angle makes snaking the septic system easier. I tried to contact Weldon with my findings, including a photo of the inside of the pipe, and received NO response.
Weldon went ahead and told our buyers that we had a serious plumbing issue and how our yard would have to be dug up and that was the end of our buyers. They terminated the contract. Weldon is a dishonest man and I will warn anyone who is in need of a plumbing repair to avoid him.

My kitchen sink was clogged and filling up with food and gross water. I called Spicewood Plumbing and not only were they prompt in resolving the issue but I was impressed at how professional, thorough and friendly they were. I will definitely be calling them again and referring them to friends and family. They exceeded my expectations!

I was hesitant to go with a larger company to do our tankless hot water heater install. In general, I feel the bigger the service company - the crappier the service.
I called about 4 plumbers to give us an estimate to remove 2 tank units and install 1 tankless.
We had quotes ranging from $4500 to $9500.
The quote at $4500 seemed a tad too low and we were quoted an indoor model for an outdoor mount. Red flags everywhere.
I was explaining to a friend my situation and he explained that he had ABC do his tankless a year ago and was happy with the work. He's a tough sell, so they did something right and I decided to give them a call
We had a guy come out for a free estimate and he quotes us ~$6000 for a Navien 11gal/min unit.
If all the people that came out, they were the only ones who noticed that we needed a bump in our gas line to 2lbs( not really sure but whatever) - it sounded logical and was something Atmos gas did.
Anyway, we ended up going with a rinnai rur 9.8 for our home. They really pushed the Navien, but I really wasn't sold. It did have a few nice features over the rinnai like a dedicated return to the unit for the recirculating line and a built in learning mechanism to know then to turn the pump on but the unit is made in Korea and I've had terrible luck with Korean made items( LG, Kia) and never had any issues with items made in japan( Honda, echo, and the list goes on) - rinnai is made in Japan.
Anyway, that unit was more expensive, but so far it's been good.
Unit was professionally installed. They tech Miguel took his time and made things look nice.
We had an issue in our master bathroom where we were not getting hot water and they came out twice. Once to install check valve and another time to discover or shower head had a really low flow on it and the pull was so low that it did not kick on the hot water heater. After they removed that - problem solved.
It was super easy getting a follow up visit and as expected it was free.
Can recommend. Why the 4 stars. Because the warranty was less on the rinnai.

When I put out the request in Yelp for estimates on a new hot water heater and install, Pete and Elite Plumbing was not only the first to respond but also ended up with the most competitive bid. I pinged him multiple times to ensure I wasn't missing any hidden cost or fees. He replied quickly and thoroughly to all my questions.
The estimate seemed too good to be true plus I had also seen some mixed reviews on Yelp so I wanted to be sure I did the extra due diligence before making a decision. Not all plumbing jobs are the same and things that happened during the big Texas storm early in 2021 I had to take with a grain of salt. After confirming all the details with Pete and researching more online, I trusted him and his team with the job.
As a bonus, his team was ready to start work the very next day so we got it on their schedule. Communication throughout the engagement was great. They showed up in the window they gave me. They finished the work fast, efficiently and professionally. Everything went smoother than I even expected and I was very pleased with the work and overall experience.
I can't vouch for all of their services but if you need a hot water heater installed, I can definitely give them the thumbs up! I'll consider them in the future for other plumbing jobs that might spring up too.
