We were referred to Austex by a local business because we were having a lot of issues in our new construction home with standing water in low spots in the back yard and between houses, inconsistent landscape irrigation, and gutter water that added to the problem.

Our lead tech was Joseph, who did a fantastic job identifying the problem areas and making recommendations, which included installing a french drain system to carry away water from the low areas and gutter spouts. He showed us how our irrigation schedule was compounding our problems...too much water in some spots, not enough in others, water pouring into our neighbor's yard creating a muddy mess for them!

Now in just a few short weeks our lawn has shown remarkable recovery, the animals aren't tracking a mess onto the porch and house, and we're using water much more effectively.

We are very grateful to Austex Sprinklers and Joseph for all of their help, positive communication, and GREAT customer service.

The plumber never showed up.  He called and told me to send a photo of the required part and I did so.  He suggested I find the part then he would install.  Never followed up. If I could give negative stars I would!

Wow! What a great experience in a time of need.  Colony Home came to our house SAME DAY and provided their assessment and recommendations.  We had water damage from a leak in our upstairs bathroom and they were able to quickly provide a plan and recommendations for what to do.  Mark assessed the plumbing and even provided advice on some other appliances that were giving us trouble while he was here.  Rian tested all the walls for moisture and possible mold which gives us invaluable peace of mind.  He went above and beyond testing for moisture everywhere and explained everything he was doing.  We've found it difficult to find reliable assistance lately, especially after the Great Freeze of Austin, TX but Rian and Mark provided genuine and knowledgeable service.  I would definitely recommend Colony Homes.

Felix is the pipe whisperer. I've never seen anyone who can diagnose a problem and fix it as quickly as Felix. He is prompt, works fast, and gets the job done. I had to call him on the morning Christmas Eve to fix a leaky toilet, and he was there within 30 minutes after I called him to take care of it. Now that is what I call service! I always call Felix when I need a plumber. I've recommended him to several friends, and they call him now, too. Felix is the best by far!

I can't praise these guys enough. I have been using them for about 11 years and they always do great work with my yard maintenance, landscaping, and any sprinkler repairs that are needed. They have also helped with some close friends sprinkler install, and they have been happy with that work as well. Very fair prices, and always gets the job done right!

Honest and do good work. Knowledgeable  plumbers.  Worked with us on our remodel and also helped us last minute. Highly recommend.

Sylvester came out right away when we had an emergency. He immediately got to work and fixed our issue. He is very fairly priced, and does great work! I would highly recommend him!!

Eric was highly recommended by the #1 plumber on yelp... and with good reason.  He responded to my call in a respectable amount of time, gave me a ball park quote, and scheduled me for the next day.  He and Bobby arrived promptly on time.  Both were very professional and courteous.  They assessed my leak and replaced/repaired the shut off valve at the street in a matter of no time. He completed the job, with warranty, and charged me the very low end of the quoted price.   Eric offered phone consultation at any time.  I will certainly call him for any future plumbing needs.

My wife and I felt very threatened when Mike came to fix my clock toilet. He smelled like alcohol and was visibly agitated and often raised his voice and talk down to me like I was stupid. When I hired a different plumber to redo Mike's work, he showed me all the lazy bones shortcuts that Mike took repairing my pipes.

We experienced a water leak Friday afternoon in the home we are currently renting. We notified our landlord and he said that Cedar Park Plumbing would be coming out Saturday between 10 & 12.

My wife and I adjusted our schedules that day to wait...and that's exactly what we did.

11:00 Called and left message to confirm service call.
My call was returned shortly thereafter to say the tech was running late; plan around 1:00. We were next in line.

2:00 No tech; no call. I called back.
Again, shortly thereafter a call back said that they'd call the tech and call me back.

4:00 I called and left yet another message.
20 or so minutes later, the dispatch called back apologizing and that we'd be next on the list.

During this call, the service technician called on the other line (which I didn't recognize the number and I didn't take the call). I finished with dispatch and checked my voice mail 20 minutes later. It was the tech...UGH.

I called him back and he said that he'd already been deployed to another call. I was beyond frustrated.

I cannot tell you how good they are technically because they're business operations are quite simply, a joke. No amount of apologies or calling me attempting to reschedule for Sunday.

I can understand that they may have been busy due to the recent weather we have had. Their lack of timely and realistic expectations and ZERO forward communication has caused me to *NEVER* recommend them in a positive light.

You're are better off trying anyone else.

I depend on Yelp to help me with my contractor needs! I called David Richards with Clear and Present Plumbing LLC and I am , once again, very happy that I found his listing. He was very quick in responding and explained the possible charges before taking the job. After the completion of the job, David called me and explained what the problem was! Thank you David!

I've used Christianson for many years now, but lately I have to wonder if they've gotten too big to care as much about their level of customer service.  They've always been reliable in the past, as far as heating and cooling goes, but my experience with their plumbing services and emergency service is very poor.  

Not long ago I had a Christianson plumber come out to do minor repairs to a toilet and a gas pipe (fireplace ignitor).  The toilet repair didn't hold up more than a few weeks and the workman mangled the failed utterly to remove the old gas ignitor; instead, he twisted and mangled it so badly that he finally gave up the job and said he was afraid he would break the pipe (which would leave me in a much more serious position).  I didn't realize what had been done at the time, not until much later (when the winter came along).  Rather than remove the pipe and cap it, I was left with an ignitor that's turned SIDEWAYS, with one section of flames that would burn directly into the floor of the firebox if I dared turn it on.  I'm going to have to have this job tackled again by another plumber.  I blame myself for not staying more on top of this at the time, but really, you should be able to trust a plumber to do a proper job no matter what obstacles he encounters.

More recently, during the cold front and freezing weather, water pipes broke at my home late on a Friday night.  I called the emergency number listed in the phone book and  navigated a series of voicemail menus and finally was told  to leave a message with the emergency service and I'd be contacted as soon as possible to arrange for an after-hours repair if necessary.  I left a series of messages that night to update Christianson's on my status ( using the car headlights in the dark to  search for the cuttoff, I finally got the water  shut off, but I still wanted to get repairs underway as soon as possible).  I never ehard back from Christianson's, not that night, not the next day, not the day after, not the day after.  What's the point of advertising 24-hour emergency service if all you do is leave a message, never speak to a human being, and are never called back?  Hell, I could set myself up as offering 24-hour emergency hotline available if that's all there is to it.  Sure, call any time and say whatever you like -- just don't expect any response.  

I arranged to have the repairs done by a competitor.  Christianson, I expected better from you.  I even emailed your customer service dept. from your website and aired my complaint last week, and you never responded to that either.  Do you care at all anymore, or are you in fact too big to take care of longtime customers?

Absolutely great customer service to begin with!  Hands down a great job and in a timely manner.  Replaced my grinder next day after the initial visit. Left everything in my yard way cleaner than when he found it.  Super pumped to recommend these guys, especially Jason!  My new plumber for life, and I have several properties!  Thank you!

I don't often write reviews but it was worth spreading the word about this company.  I had received previous quotes from other companies that were comparable in price, but the customer service offered by Radiant was so much better (and the other companies I wouldnt have complained about).   Any issues that were encountered were well communicated to me and handled to my satisfaction.  I really appreciated the fact that they send a QA employee out to ensure things are to code and proceeding well.  They also have a handyman team that does a superior job cleaning up and making sure everything looks as close to as it did prior to the work being done.  Tim, with the handyman team, was super friendly and took pride in his work.  Frankly, the whole HVAC team was that way as well.

Update : Ive had to lower this to a 3 star review.  After installation,  noticed the house was more humid than normal.  Have had them to the house 3 times and no resolution.   As they initially installed over 2 days they caused themselves an issue by not being able to properly hook up the supply plenum to the air handler.   If everyone with Radiant wasnt so nice, this would be a 2 star review.
