Love these guys! Showed up on time, friendly but professional, fair prices and hard working.  What more could someone want!

I have used them on several occasions, with the largest being re running the plumbing for a shop. They did a great job, and got everything up in running an timly manner. When ever I have needed anything, or had an emergency, they have been prompt to respond. I highly recomend them.

I had my two old water heaters replaced before the new regulations kicked in and I asked them to replace the drain valves on the new units with ball valves so that they would never clog with sediment.  The installation of the water heaters went well and was a lot of work, but I guess I didn't make myself clear regarding the drain valves.  Instead of replacing the ones that came with the units, they just added the ball valves, defeating the purpose of having them.  It was too late by the time I noticed this, but I figured I could live with it until I do a big flush and replace them myself (I did that on the old ones - it's not rocket science).  Today when I went to do the first mini-drain, the connections between the drain valve and the ball valve on both units sprayed hot water all over.  I had to place a bucket under the valves and a rag over them to control the spray.  Not good.

I'm a software developer, not a plumber, and when I replaced the drain valves on my old water heaters there were no leaks.  While I'm pleased with the installation of the units, I consider the installation of the drain ball valves to be sloppy and even dangerous.

Me. Plumber did an outstanding job today for an extremely reasonable price.  I am very satisfied with the quality of their work and the care they took with my house.  Very highly recommend these guys.  Formerly Steve's Plumbing!  Rosendo and his helper are awesome for sure.

I hired Texas AC & Plumbing Specialist for a small repair job on my kitchen sink. Blake came over right on time, got the sink working flawlessly, charged me exactly what I was quoted, and was friendly and professional throughout. I'd absolutely work with these guys again.

Mike has been my plumber for years except for a period when I lost his phone number and tried the number posted on Yelp.  His business is NOT closed.  It was just my good luck that I ran into him one day and got his number again.  As great a plumber as he is, he simply does not advertise beyond having a business card.  His phone number is 512-626-8036.  Do yourself a favor and hang onto that number.

First of all-I think a majority of the positive reviews on here are likely friends doing a favor. Second, if you scroll down and look at the bottom left you can see where yelp filters reviews-and see them... majority are negative, and similar experiences to mine. Maybe they're advertising with yelp, but the non-biased algorithm is begin pretty biased if you ask me.

I had a water heater go out and called my home warranty company on Monday morning. They assigned me to Affordable Plus Plumbing and told me to call to schedule an inspection. I called immediately and a woman answers- I explained my situation and she said, Oh well, if it needs to be replaced we can do that and the warranty covers it-but if it isn't up to code it might cost you money to get it to code She then gave me some example of some other person who needed an exterior drain and drain pan and what that cost them. (I didn't need an estimate on a hypothetical situation that didn't apply to me, but ok-thanks for the heads up).

Then-she said they were very busy today, but she would call and see if he can come today (11am). I understood they may not be able to. She said she would check and call me back. After an hour and a half, I called her again-she said, ya... he's going to come today. Me, any time frame? Her, ummm, I don't know he said he would make it today, and that he was in the middle of something and would call me back. Me, ok.... I stayed at home to work just in case he came by... No show. At 5:15 pm I called again-she said, ohhhh he's not going to make it today he got stuck at another job. (thanks for letting me know?!!!) I asked when he could come by... She asked if the next day (Tuesday) between 1-4pm was ok. I asked if any earlier could work, she said no. I agreed to the time frame, and asked that in anticipation of needing a replacement (it had already been inspected by a company that my home warranty didn't send out). could she schedule some time on Wednesday... after a back and forth about how he needed to inspect it first, which I agreed with, she said she would put aside a couple hours... ok?!

Tuesday- I took a half day and was home from 1-4pm. I called at 3pm, I said, I know it isn't 4pm yet, and I am sorry to bother you... but just want to confirm he's still coming... She said, yes, he's still coming. Ok. I sat there until 4pm. No show. I call her again, and explain that I am frustrated because I stayed home two 1/2 days, and its not so much that they're busy, but that there is ZERO communication or follow through. She says, well... he says he called you earlier and left a message. Well... he didn't. AND even if he HAD, then why at 3 did you say he was still coming????

I ask for his direct #. I call him-he says, oh you didn't get my voicemail from earlier...? no. Oh... well which part of Austin are you in? (I have provided this twice) I tell him again... He explains that there is traffic now to go south (yes... you knew that). He explains he thinks he can fix the water heater, no need to replace (hasn't seen it yet). Ok, fine! Whatever... when can you come out? He says, Ill try tonight but WE WILL SEE HOW IT GOES, ok? Me, no, not ok... if not tonight, when? He says, if they don't make it tonight I will call you in the morning, Me, ok... will you have someone available tomorrow to come out in the morning? Him, I don't know... but I'll call you in the morning. Me, ok.

Wednesday. 11am- no call. I call my home warranty company and explain, they cancel the order and reassign me. 1pm-the woman from the company calls to let me know, a technician is on his way. I tell her, don't bother. (ALSO, what if I hadn't stayed home-now I am supposed to drop everything to meet a technician, I didn't know was coming. Because no one called in the morning as promised)

Zero professionalism. Zero communication. Zero respect for my time, schedule, or job. Zero reliability. What a joke and waste of two and half days- with NO hot water..

Jimmy showed up right on time and answered all questions I had.  Quality workmanship on our plumbing needs.

German gets the work done nicely! I'm glad to recommend Mill Hill construction to everyone on the home improvement projects / construction projects.

These guys are just the best. We have hired them repeatedly over the years, and each time they treat us wonderfully and do a top-notch job at a competitive price. Plus, they're just nice people to work with. We've had them replace the sewer lines at two houses, and miscellaneous other plumbing work, and each time they've done great.

Brandon and Doug were friendly, knowledgeable and very thorough. I had a time crunch and the office moved things around so I could make it to an event by 11am. Highly recommend!

1, They gave an appointment  1 week out and confirmed on text that free estimate would be provided for repair when they came out
2. Talked on phone with tech 1 day before. He did not mention any extra fees. Then he texted saying we are coming out for free  but there may be a charge to identify what parts need to be replaced. What a joke
3. When i asked how much, texted back USUSALLY 190-259, cost of repair would be additional
4. I complained about the bait and switch 1 week after appointment, and mentioned Angies list reviews. Then their tune was slightly changed if we have to spend time troubleshooting the unit the fee will be in place

I would avoid. The fee should have been mentioned up front, instead of texting me free estimate when the issue with water heater had already been described. Then when homeowner is helpless, describing the fees last minute.
Go with plumbmasters or other that charge fixed 89$ fee and apply it to repairs and are clear about the fees upfront.

This is an excellent company. I needed a small granite remodel to fit a new stove. They were able to get in and perform the job quickly and efficiently,  and left the kitchen spotless!  Excellent communication from the office and subcontractors. I will definitely use them for future projects!!

I cant say enough good about Plumb Masters! I had my main sewer line replaced in 2 stages. First was outside the house to the street, then from outside to back under the house. I must say Wayne and Manny (and the rest of the crew) did an amazing job. They did the first part in September and it was HOT! These guys worked hard the whole time digging trenches and getting the correct fall on the pipe.

I think I was more impressed with the work under the house. We have an old pier and beam home and there is only about about 12-18 inches of space under the home. These guys did an amazing job, they must have been under the house for 5 hours! They kept a positive attitude the whole time, I could here them chatting and laughing under the house. Pretty amazing to be in that crappy, tight and dirty space and be positive about it. They also worked past 5pm (in the dark) to finish the job so we could use our plumbing, they truly went above and beyond.

I just wanted to say thanks to Plumb Masters, Wayne, Manny and the rest of the crew they did a great job and couldn't be happier. I would recommend these guys for any job.

So I was very pleased with the first service from Phillip at Lanier.  

There was more work to do and I scheduled them to come.  

Supposedly they called during the week and said it would be a month because they had gotten some big jobs and that the person who was scheduling did not know what they were doing. But I didn't get a call. They just didn't bother to say they were not coming and would not be coming for a month.

You might as well be dead to wait a month to repair a plumbing leak.

To be honest, I have never had a contractor call and say they can not come for month after I already have an appointment. Ever. And not care about it at all when they tell you. Or try and squeeze you in.

And so I won't ever be calling this poorly managed company again for something as important as plumbing.

We've used C&K Plumbing ever since a friend (and a contractor) recommended them to us several years ago, and are always so incredibly impressed by their amazing customer service and expertise.  Of late we've had some particularly complicated issues, and they've gotten to the bottom of each and every single one.  We're incredibly grateful to them and couldn't recommend them more highly.

Cody and Chris were outstanding. We had a leak and Cody came to the house right away to fix it.  Outstanding, efficient, professional service.  I usually don't write write reviews but they definitely deserve a great one.  Thanks!

This company did the plumbing install on our new house. We had problems from the start. We had out clean out clogged several times. Finally the city came out and ran a camera through the pipe. Their report was shocking and acurate.

The pipe had unnecessary bends, was crushed with a large rock and root, and had a blocked off y fitting in the section. What a joke. Totally Inane...
