Doug's Plumbing  ----- 5 Star Service ------. Damon and Beto of  Doug's Plumbing just re-plumbed the house. They did a super job. Marty worked up the Bid in quick order stopping by several times over the course of the 2 day project. The Office Team exceeded expectations in scheduling and keeping me up to speed on arrival of the team.  I'm one of those that likes to 'inspect what I expect' and I must say that their work gives the appearance and functionality of new construction in a 100 year old home.

The owner is incredibly rude. He had a horrible attitude and was snappy with me while asking questions about his services. I would absolutely not recommend doing business with this person in anyway shape or form.

Tony was referred to me by Gilbert at Blue Dragon Plumbing.  I Called Gilbert on a Sunday afternnon.  He was booked for the week, so he gave me Tony's number.  I called Tony Sunday afternoon.  He answered right away and I told him I suspected I had a leaking water main.  He asked if it was gushing and if I knew how to turn off the water.  I did, so he told me he would be out first thing Monday morning.  Tony called me around 8A on Monday and told me he was on his way.  He arrived at 8:30A, assessed the situation, confirmed my fears, gave me a price, set to work and completed the job by 1P.  He even fixed a broken irrigation line that he found when he dug up the water main.  I highly recommend Tony and will be calling him again.

Me. Plumber did an outstanding job today for an extremely reasonable price.  I am very satisfied with the quality of their work and the care they took with my house.  Very highly recommend these guys.  Formerly Steve's Plumbing!  Rosendo and his helper are awesome for sure.

Mike has been my plumber for years except for a period when I lost his phone number and tried the number posted on Yelp.  His business is NOT closed.  It was just my good luck that I ran into him one day and got his number again.  As great a plumber as he is, he simply does not advertise beyond having a business card.  His phone number is 512-626-8036.  Do yourself a favor and hang onto that number.

Richard and his crew have never let me down. Excellent work, great communication, always tells me exactly what is going on. He just replaced our ancient, crumbling water line to our house. Lots of problems to solve, and I know it will last for ages.

Jimmy showed up right on time and answered all questions I had.  Quality workmanship on our plumbing needs.

This company is dishonest!
My kitchen sink was slowing, I have a membership with this company I paid $200 for a year, called them to come unclog it, lady over the phone told me it would be $79 instead of $99 because of the membership. Thought I really made a good deal signing with them.
Technician came a few days later, 3h late, took a look at my sink and told me the $79 are just for the dispatched fee, it's an additional $350 to unclog my sink. So you are telling me I have to pay $79 to have someone coming to my home to tell me how much it is to have my drain cleaned?! What I don't get is they had a technician checking on my plumbing a couple months earlier, when I signed for the membership. They knew my home and how is the plumbing, so when I said over the phone my kitchen sink is clogged, she should have say looking at the plumbing report for your home it would be $350 + $79 dispatched fee.
I should have been quote the $350 over the phone knowing it is the minimum to run the snake.
I refused service and invested in a snake.
Also, the best part, there was a promotion going on on their website, it's actually $99 instead of $350 but they don't tell you until you find it yourself.
Don't do business with them.

Jason my salesman was very knowledgeable and polite. He gave me all the information I needed about there systems. I appreciate the fact that he never tried to pressure me into buying the day he came to my house. I hate when sales people are pushy.  A couple of days after he came by I had another company give me a quote which was 3x's more the the quote from Alamo. I contacted Jason soon after and scheduled my installation.

A week later Eddie came to install the system. He was very professional and did a great job with the installation. His work was very clean and neat. He left no mess in my garage and the installation was complete in two hours.

Alamo water softeners was recommended to me by my neighbor and I can honestly recommend them for your water softener. They are very professional and I can already feel the difference in my water.

I've had to call Jon at American Eagle twice: once for an emergency leaking kitchen sink valve that wouldn't shut off, and last week for two leaking sinks and a rusted On/Off sprinkler valve. Twenty-one year old house, everything has an expiry date. All three issues required new sections of pipe and new valves. Jon also spotted a couple of other issues and wrote everything up, explained the charges to me, and then I picked the most immediate problems for him to fix.

I wasn't prepared to get a new hot water heater but it's good to know I need to watch it. Jon is quick, responsive, careful, professional, and cleans everything up. I highly recommend American Eagle.

Tony and his G.I.S. team did a great job removing our old countertop and installing our apron front farmhouse sink!  It was not a routine job and several other contractors I contacted for quotes would not even consider the job once they learned it would involve altering the existing kitchen island.  The large/over-sized sink required extensive reinforcement that the G.I.S. team framed up nicely.  Once the new countertop is delivered and installed I will post pictures of the final results.  The G.I.S. team was professional and easy to work with.  It is difficult to find a good contractor that can do it all (carpentry, electrical, plumbing, painting, etc.). Happy that I now have a trusted go to source. Highly recommended!!

Blue Dragon recommended Plumb Masters. Other plumbers told me replacing my trap under slab was going to cost up to $5000 and tear up a lot of my kitchen, so ok, I wanted some new cabinets anyway. I finally scheduled the job and got stood up--thank goodness. Started over with Plumb Masters who did the work for thousands less, including tile and drywall repair(!), and pulled up exactly two square feet of floor! And jackhammered without dust! It's kind of a miracle. A little disappointing, though; now I don't have an excuse to get new cabinets.

tldr: Had a kitchen sink stoppage and first called another plumbing company to snake it out. After 5 days of nothing working, and over $500 in charges, they gave me a $9,000 est, to fix. Called in Lanier Plumbing, who fixed the sink in half an hour, and for half of the $500 Radiant charge. ---

On the 5th day of unsuccessful tries and a $9,000 estimate to fix, I called Lanier Plumbing to have a look-see to be sure that tunneling under the house is the only recourse.
The Lanier plumber, Philip, was able to snake out the sink in 30min, and charged HALF of what Radiant charged.
He was knowledgeable, professional, and effectual. He was, in short, the best.
On the 6th day, I dumped the other company for Lanier Plumbing. Lanier is a way more mature plumbing company, and it shows in their attitude, from the office manager on through to the plumber.

Unclogged a sink that another company spent 5 days trying to unsuccessfully unclog

Water heater started to leak Sunday at 5 pm and there is nothing worst then trying to call a 24hr plumbing service and getting a recording saying their office is close.  I was able to get a hold of a company who sent out a AC tech (he must have been on call) to tell me that my water heater was leaking (was charge $170 to show up), who then called in their plumber who came over and told me yup, water heater need to be replace and gave me an estimate of $2400 to replace a water heater.  (I shouldn't be to hard on this company, the AC guy was able to determine where the leak was and did tighten something to stop the leak.. so the $170 was worth it but the $2400 quote for the water heater was highway robbery!!)

I don't know much about plumbing but I do know that a water heater start around $299 add labor say $1000 (I'm being generous) and it can't be more then $1200.  So I told the guy I will have to call around to get another quote.  Well to my surprise I was right a few place started their bid right around $1200.  Then I  got in touch with Claude (and I am so glad I did) he showed up to my house 20 min later. this was at 6:45 am. He took some measurement and explained what he was going to do and gave me a quote for $990 for a brand new water heater that is with parts and labor.  That was music to my ears, I asked him when he can do it, he said he can put me on the schedule for around noon time and was done by 2 pm.  

I have to say best customer service and pricing ever.  No upcharge, just gave me a quote and did the job in a timely manner.  Thank you Claude, will definitely recommend C & K Plumbing to my friends and family.  Even his wife Nancy who answer the phone was awesome, do yourself a favor and call them if you need plumbing done.

Seriously! I have found my plumber for the rest of the time I live in Elgin (although I hope to never need him again). So it turns out I did not have a slab leak, instead the builder put the water line UNDER the driveway! It is about 1 1/2 feet in. My roommate dug and dug until he found the leak and cleaned the area all around it. I called Mike and let him know what was going on. He went staright out to my house, fixed the leak and called me to tell me it was $100 even and he would just leave me a bill. He also said if I leave him the paperwork from the city to try to recoup some of my super high bill, he would sign it and leave it on the front door.
After speaking to so many plumbers in the past few weeks it is refreshing to know I have a good, honest plumber I can count on from now on!
