I want to post a follow up on my previous post.  Doug, the owner,  called and discussed my experience.  Honest man.  Good listener.  Stand up guy.  I felt he was totally objective and understood what happened.  I can't believe he is refunding my money.  He said something Marty never could say - they got this wrong.  Plus, they will honor the warranty on the pump.  Who does that?  Doug the Plumber does that!  Unheard of in today's business climate.  Will I use them again?  yes!  WillI recommend them?  Yes!
I still have to find an electrician to do the work, but Doug gave me a referral for Easons.

Jose and Hector from Lakeway Plumbing were great. They arrived early, wore masks, were neat and efficient. In solving our problem. We will definitely use them again.

Wow!  This morning I woke up to a flooded utility & living room (thank goodness I have tile!).  I tried to turn off the water by the hot water heater and then out by the street - couldn't do it.  Called the plumbing co I've used in the past & explained my dilemma with a panicked voice I'm sure.  Fox Service told me no one could help until afternoon - I couldn't believe it LOL!  So I searched Yelp and ended up finding Tony.  He was here in 10 minutes!!!  Got the water turned off and is now installing a new hot water heater.  What a nice guy and very efficient.  Even helped me haul out the water soaked towels so I could wring them outside.  I highly recommend Tony.

Me. Plumber did an outstanding job today for an extremely reasonable price.  I am very satisfied with the quality of their work and the care they took with my house.  Very highly recommend these guys.  Formerly Steve's Plumbing!  Rosendo and his helper are awesome for sure.

In November my hot water heater failed and these guys were quick to come out and replace it. December it was my HVAC system. They replaced it, fixed the duct work and cleared out my vents--and helped me arrange financing. In both instances, the workmen were courteous, thorough and quick to get the work done. And the prices were competitive.

Mike has been my plumber for years except for a period when I lost his phone number and tried the number posted on Yelp.  His business is NOT closed.  It was just my good luck that I ran into him one day and got his number again.  As great a plumber as he is, he simply does not advertise beyond having a business card.  His phone number is 512-626-8036.  Do yourself a favor and hang onto that number.

Great service, very respectful. Def reasonably priced. For the same job, someone else was going to charge me more than double what he did.  I Will def recommend them to anyone.

Jimmy showed up right on time and answered all questions I had.  Quality workmanship on our plumbing needs.

Chris was early (yep, you read that correctly) and walked me through options and pricing for the repair of my toilet shutoff valve. He was honest, professional and super quick. I should point out this was an emergency call on a holiday weekend the night before a hard freeze...so I was lucky to find anyone to come out. While this wasn't an inexpensive visit, it was made painless by Chris and the office staff. I highly recommend them!

I had two other companies come out. #1 wanted to replace the entire system bc they only work on the products  they sell $5700. Company #2 said a bunch of muddled of  Spanish between the two men and assumed we didn't understand. They actually jacked  the price up 1500 based on the cars out front that we did not own.
The gentlemen from Alamo had 25 plus years of experience (it could have been 23 ) he was thorough, listened to me, told me exactly what what was wrong. Came in on the low end of what we expected. Came
Back with all the parts during a terrible storm. He cleaned up everything, wiped down everything and actually left the area cleaner than he found it.

They over charged for the repair and did poor quality work.  They also burned PVC pipes next to the copper pipes they sweated.  Stay away from this company.

We hired GIS to update our garage at a home we had just bought. Emilio and Mark were out at the property in a day, reviewing the space and communicating clearly what the work would entail. I had a detailed written quote within 24 hours. After signing, communication was great and Tony and Mark started work quickly, and the job was ultimately done timely and well and handled professionally in all aspects. Great company and friendly employees!

I was referred to Plumb Masters by Gilbert at Blue Dragon Plumbing. Our main sewer line was broken and needed to be replaced. I knew right away this would not be a cheap project. This was not an emergency repair but was time sensitive. I tried to do my due diligence and called 4 different companies to obtain a quote. When I called Plumb Masters and they were able to dispatch a plumber to assess the repair and provide an estimate within 24-hours, which was faster than 3 other plumbing companies I had called. Although none of the companies could provide an estimate over the phone, Plumb Masters was transparent up-front and quoted me a dispatch fee of $89.00 to provide an estimate and mentioned this would be applied towards the final repair bill if we moved forward with them. One of the estimates I obtained was from a large national reputable company and their estimate was almost double. This is why local matters.

Plumb Masters was not the cheapest estimate, but I decided to move forward with them because they had the best reviews. In addition, I felt more comfortable with them because the plumber that provided the estimate went out of his way to explain the extent of the damage and broke down the costs in detail. He was very personable and took the time to listen to my questions and explain in detail. Plumb Masters emailed the estimate immediately and provided the option to electronically sign which was convenient. After I signed the Documents sent to me via email, I received a call from their office within minutes to schedule the project around my schedule.  

The Technician that did the repair was Graham. I encourage you to request him next time you schedule Plumb Masters Services. He was fantastic and is a great representative of the company. He called ahead to confirm the appointment and was right on time. Although I had already accepted the proposal electronically, he took the time to explain the extent of the repair once again and answer all questions I had. The original estimate I had received included digging and had a clause indicating that the estimate was subject to change if they discovered that the repair would need to be larger than originally anticipated. Once they had excavated and assessed the full extent, Graham and his colleague provided an update, explained in detail, and confirmed the final amount. Even though the repair was slightly more complex than they had originally anticipated, the final bill was exactly what had been quoted in the estimate.
If you are in need of plumbing services, I highly recommend Plumb Masters. I hope not to need their services in the near future, but will not hesitate to call them again next time our house needs repairs.
TL;DR - Great local company. Transparent, personable, efficient, and fair in their pricing. Not the cheapest option, but certainly the best value.  They go above and beyond in their communication and customer service.

I have used Lanier two times. Both were outstanding experiences. The company is very professional. The people are compassionate, friendly and most of all, thorough. Each time they were prompt and completed the job quickly.

Immediately after purchasing a home built in 1955 with original pipes, a pipe leak began.  I was referred to Claude at C&K for the repair work, and I was very impressed with his diagnosis of the problem and approach to repairing it.  Claude showed up right on time and was able to replace and re-run the piping in a very efficient and clean manner.  Claude has since re-piped our laundry room, replacing a majority of the old galvanized steel piping in the house.  I would definitely recommend C&K and will be using them for future plumbing work.

These guys are amazing! This was my second time working with this local Austin company and I have received nothing less than best service. I needed a bathroom remodel done last min as I am preparing to sale my home. Cody and his team were prompt in coming out and giving me a fair quote. Their communication was great  throughout the project and they got everything done within a timely manner. I took a leap of faith on this new company months ago when the ice storm hit after getting the run around from a few other companies and I am so glad I did!!! This company is really the best when it comes to caring about their customers! Nobody likes emergencies but this is the company to go to when you want to be taken care of!

Seriously! I have found my plumber for the rest of the time I live in Elgin (although I hope to never need him again). So it turns out I did not have a slab leak, instead the builder put the water line UNDER the driveway! It is about 1 1/2 feet in. My roommate dug and dug until he found the leak and cleaned the area all around it. I called Mike and let him know what was going on. He went staright out to my house, fixed the leak and called me to tell me it was $100 even and he would just leave me a bill. He also said if I leave him the paperwork from the city to try to recoup some of my super high bill, he would sign it and leave it on the front door.
After speaking to so many plumbers in the past few weeks it is refreshing to know I have a good, honest plumber I can count on from now on!
