Technician called 45 minutes ahead as I had asked and arrived on time. Had all the parts needed to replace water heater thermostats, so no delay or return trip.  Fast and good quality work at a reasonable price.

Tony has only ONE level of service. . . EXCELLENCE.  He returned my call.  He came to look and quote.  He returned to install a new gas water heater ASAP.  He was mindful that we have young children, and did not want us to be without hot water to take a shower.

Me. Plumber did an outstanding job today for an extremely reasonable price.  I am very satisfied with the quality of their work and the care they took with my house.  Very highly recommend these guys.  Formerly Steve's Plumbing!  Rosendo and his helper are awesome for sure.

My heater shut down overnight. I was promptly able to get two technicians to diagnosis the problem and repair it. A few weeks later I had a follow up problem that was promptly fixed free of charge. The service from both technicians was friendly and fast. I recommend using Texas Air Conditioning Specialist for any heater or AC repairs.

Mike has been my plumber for years except for a period when I lost his phone number and tried the number posted on Yelp.  His business is NOT closed.  It was just my good luck that I ran into him one day and got his number again.  As great a plumber as he is, he simply does not advertise beyond having a business card.  His phone number is 512-626-8036.  Do yourself a favor and hang onto that number.

Affordable Plumbing is an excellent company. They were able to fix my water heater leak within a reasonable time frame due to my work schedule. The repair team was professional, efficient but most of all the very informative as to how to keep up with the maintenance and great info as to what the problem was at hand. I was very impressed with their work getting the repair up to code and their follow up. I would highly recommend them and will call them for future repairs.

Extremely expensive for sure!  $45 trip charge (twice) and $135/hr to re-do, rough in plumbing in half bath and install modern toilet and faucet - total cost $1400 and they scratched up my marble floor when installing the toilet

When our existing Dupure water softener broke and we learned how much it would cost to repair, we started looking at reviews for local companies. Alamo Water Softeners had better reviews than most other companies, so we gave them a call.

Comparing our (then) existing softener and the annual costs and service calls with the Alamo Water Softener pricing and continuing support, the choice was a no-brainer.
The guy that did the install was very professional and left the garage and his work area spotless.
After the new softener and reverse osmosis system was installed by AWS we realized how poorly our old softener performed the last year or so before it finally broke. 100% recommend AWS for your household needs!

We had some home issues of prior owners cutting corners or incorrectly trying to do things on their own and unfortunately while replacing our water softener we ran into many issues and a few days later our water heater went out. American Eagle Plumbing to the rescue! We had an amazing experience working with them. They were able to help us right away, no waiting for weeks or up charge for immediacy. A true local, mom and pop company with human values. We're a younger couple with not a lot of emergency money to work with for when something big goes out and they were willing to work with us on payment and being able to pay in cash for a lower rate. We never felt like we were being taking advantage of or tricked into anything.

I've seen a few reviews about the long time that they were at their residence, but that was reassuring to me! They made sure the job was completely done perfectly. My husband and I both still work from home and we barely heard a peep. The work was done a few months ago and we have had zero future issues with our new water heater and water softener they helped install. I'm so grateful to them!

Tony and his G.I.S. team did a great job removing our old countertop and installing our apron front farmhouse sink!  It was not a routine job and several other contractors I contacted for quotes would not even consider the job once they learned it would involve altering the existing kitchen island.  The large/over-sized sink required extensive reinforcement that the G.I.S. team framed up nicely.  Once the new countertop is delivered and installed I will post pictures of the final results.  The G.I.S. team was professional and easy to work with.  It is difficult to find a good contractor that can do it all (carpentry, electrical, plumbing, painting, etc.). Happy that I now have a trusted go to source. Highly recommended!!

The worst customer experience I have ever had.  We asked them to come out on December 26th which they did.  They ran a few tests to identify where a leak came from in a wall.  They basically threw some caulk on a gap, charged us, had us spend $825 to hire a company to dry out the area.  When the area was dry and we used the tub again it turns our they hadn't fixed the leak.  We had them come out again, and they said it was because the tub needed to be re-sealed.  I then hired another plumber to assess the situation and they had it entirely wrong.  Very disappointing, and I can't even get the owner/manager to have a discussion with me.  I have tried to be reasonable and resolve the situation, but at this point, it causes is just too much time and aggravation.  My advice would be to avoid this company at all costs!

Exceptional service from start to finish. The woman who answers the phone is friendly and helpful, and she didn't get frustrated with me when I had to cancel my appointment not one, not two, but three times.
The work was well done and completed quickly. Unlike many of my past plumbing nightmares, they didn't try to nickel and dime me.
Before I contacted Lanier, I tried three other plumbers (all highly reviewed), none of whom returned my messages. While I was annoyed at the time, it all worked out for the best because it led me to Lanier. They'll definitely be the only plumbers I call from now on.

I had a cracked main sewer line which had previously been repaired by ARS several years ago. I contacted C&K initially to clear the line, which they did within a day of contacting them. At the time, they also diagnosed the issue- roots getting into the drain within a foot of the access point.  

I told Matt of C&K the ARS warranty was still good and I would contact them for repair. I contacted ARS, was told someone would call me back- no one did. A few days later I called again, was told someone would contact me- no one did. I called one more time, same thing, no one ever called me back. I could not wait much longer to get this repaired and had to clean the line again.

Since ARS never responded I called C&K about the repair and was able to schedule it about 4 days out.  I had planned to take out the shrubs around the access point anyway and asked C&K if they would work with me on the price if I did the initial digging and they agreed. I was told the amount would vary depending on how much I was able to get done.

They showed up on time and got to work. I had dug far enough to find the issue. It wasn't a crack in the pipe, it was the sleeve ARS put on that had slid off. ARS had told me they put on a flexible joint that would prevent settling of dirt/foundation to crack the pipe again. Well, it didn't crack- their repair didn't hold.  

C&K finished up in a couple of hours, completely redesigned the line to take pressure off the joint and said the way it had been done previously was going to fail due to lack of proper installation and not properly packing the dirt upon completion. The picture is the ARS failed joint, I was so happy I forgot to take pictures of the new line......oops. Essentially, they moved the flexible portion off of a 45 degree and placed it on a straight pipe to allow for movement but without the pressure of the angle. It made sense to me.

I will use C&K from here on out for plumbing and refer them to others. They were prompt, courteous, and fair with pricing. They reduced the repair costs since I had dug the hole. It was more than I had originally thought it might be too.

I didn't use Supreme plumbing for my hot water heater emergency. They contacted me within 2 hours of me texting. This was on a Sunday morning at 7a. They were the 2nd plumber to contact me. Went with the first, which responded in one hour. I will have them at the top of my list for any future plumbing emergencies.

Seriously! I have found my plumber for the rest of the time I live in Elgin (although I hope to never need him again). So it turns out I did not have a slab leak, instead the builder put the water line UNDER the driveway! It is about 1 1/2 feet in. My roommate dug and dug until he found the leak and cleaned the area all around it. I called Mike and let him know what was going on. He went staright out to my house, fixed the leak and called me to tell me it was $100 even and he would just leave me a bill. He also said if I leave him the paperwork from the city to try to recoup some of my super high bill, he would sign it and leave it on the front door.
After speaking to so many plumbers in the past few weeks it is refreshing to know I have a good, honest plumber I can count on from now on!
