Doug's Plumbing  ----- 5 Star Service ------. Damon and Beto of  Doug's Plumbing just re-plumbed the house. They did a super job. Marty worked up the Bid in quick order stopping by several times over the course of the 2 day project. The Office Team exceeded expectations in scheduling and keeping me up to speed on arrival of the team.  I'm one of those that likes to 'inspect what I expect' and I must say that their work gives the appearance and functionality of new construction in a 100 year old home.

Called Eric based on a recommendation from others in the neighborhood.

He scheduled me for the next day between 2:-00 and 4:00.

His guys arrived early, and ended up replacing the pressure valve located outside the house.

Kelvin and Jose were very polite and professional. They were very patient with answering all my questions and had the valve replaced in less than an hour.

Fixed our problem with the water pressure and we are very happy with the service/price

Me. Plumber did an outstanding job today for an extremely reasonable price.  I am very satisfied with the quality of their work and the care they took with my house.  Very highly recommend these guys.  Formerly Steve's Plumbing!  Rosendo and his helper are awesome for sure.

Martin and team did a spectacular job w/ my HVAC installation. All through the process, Martin has been very responsive and kept me informed and up-to-date w/ the status of the installation.
He was the first to come back w/ a bid among all the installers I requested bids from. Martin also patiently answered my questions on the install and the austin electric rebate program.
On the day of the install, he kept me up-to-date w/ his team's progress. The team took about 6-7 hrs to do the install since it was a 2 system gig. After the install Mike and team showed me the components inside and outside the system and explained proper maintenance procedure. Brittney at the front desk is also assisting me w/ filing paperwork for the city rebates. So far the system is working great.
Texas AC Specialist were definitely very professional and courteous and a pleasure to do business with.

Mike has been my plumber for years except for a period when I lost his phone number and tried the number posted on Yelp.  His business is NOT closed.  It was just my good luck that I ran into him one day and got his number again.  As great a plumber as he is, he simply does not advertise beyond having a business card.  His phone number is 512-626-8036.  Do yourself a favor and hang onto that number.

I called about a leaking outside spigot on a Wednesday and set an appointment for the next day. Richard called about 20 minutes before he arrived on Thursday morning to let me know he was on his way.
While he was diagnosing the spigot leak, I asked Richard to also check our ancient water heater.
He noted the water heater had not been installed with a drip pan and was nearing the end of its useful life (13+ years).
I needed both issues resolved that day so after we agreed on a price, Richard and Anthony came out a couple of hours later with a new water heater unit and had it installed and the leak diagnosed and repaired by the end of the day, leaving the entire work area clean and neat.
Richard was straightforward, professional and had a great sense of humor, all of which I appreciated.

I thought they were prompt in coming out, but I felt like I got price gouged. I was quoted a $69 or $79 diagnostic fee on the phone and when the technician came out, he called me and told me that the charge would be $179 since it was a stackable washer and dryer. My hands were tied since this was a rental property and I desperately needed somebody to let me know what the issue was with the washer and/ or washer connection. When I requested the service in the first place, I was clear what the issue was and I was also clear that it was a stackable set in a closet. Long story short, it took him 15 minutes to tell me that I needed a new machine. It just seemed like a waste for such a easy diagnosis. He did look at the toilet for me, which was much appreciated, but I'm still not sure that warranted almost a $200 charge.

This is the 3rd time I've used Alamo Water Softeners. I've bought and moved 3 different times and every time I've used AWS for my water softener and reverse osmosis. I've never been dissatisfied ever. Great prices, very nice staff and the owners are very friendly. I recommend them without any hesitation.

Don't bother shopping around, just call them and go straight for the purchase :)

We had a foundation leak. I called John because our kids played baseball together. He came out that day and completely over charged us for the work he did. What irritates me the most of that he lead me to believe insurance would cover most of the work done, which they do not and he knew that. They do not display pricing anywhere. The worst part of the whole experience is the restoration company that he tried to bring with him but I wanted to wait for insurance. I ended up using the company since I thought i thought I could trust John. They ended up being shady crooks!!

I would highly recommend Tony to anybody. He is honest, fair and professional.

At first I couldn't afford Tony's bid. But after talking to him about it and splitting up the work and materials we came up with a mutually agreeable contract. He was really easy to talk to and that helps immensely.

I really liked that he showed up in a mask and it took a little longer than expected because of Covid.

Not only was Tony easy to communicate and work with, his crew did an outstanding job. And when he asked me about how I thought it was going, I pointed out a few minor issues that he addressed immediately. He had all of his guys there within the hour to alleviate any and all concerns. He really listened!

We had a terrible experience with this company and would never use them again, or recommend them to anyone.    Our washer machine drainage overflowed.  We called PlumbMater  and the dispatch told me it will be $89 to get detailed reports and located the problem. When the tech/owner Mark shoed up  he said for $89 he is not going to do anything but he will take a look after 20 minutes he said he can fix the problem for $291,80. I told him it is not what the dispatch told me but if you can fixed if for that amount go head.  After 30 minutes he said we are all done and everything working perfectly. I paid him and send him away. Right after they left I started the washer to find out the it is still leaking. I called the tech/owner Mark and he said he need to put the camera down the drainage to find the problem and it will cost around $600. I said no way and I asked for my money back and he Laughed at me.

Best plumber I've used in Austin! I was told by another plumber that the bad pressure in my sink was because my house needed to be replumbed due to old galvanized pipes. He came and fixed my sink in five minutes and was SUPER friendly!

Water heater started to leak Sunday at 5 pm and there is nothing worst then trying to call a 24hr plumbing service and getting a recording saying their office is close.  I was able to get a hold of a company who sent out a AC tech (he must have been on call) to tell me that my water heater was leaking (was charge $170 to show up), who then called in their plumber who came over and told me yup, water heater need to be replace and gave me an estimate of $2400 to replace a water heater.  (I shouldn't be to hard on this company, the AC guy was able to determine where the leak was and did tighten something to stop the leak.. so the $170 was worth it but the $2400 quote for the water heater was highway robbery!!)

I don't know much about plumbing but I do know that a water heater start around $299 add labor say $1000 (I'm being generous) and it can't be more then $1200.  So I told the guy I will have to call around to get another quote.  Well to my surprise I was right a few place started their bid right around $1200.  Then I  got in touch with Claude (and I am so glad I did) he showed up to my house 20 min later. this was at 6:45 am. He took some measurement and explained what he was going to do and gave me a quote for $990 for a brand new water heater that is with parts and labor.  That was music to my ears, I asked him when he can do it, he said he can put me on the schedule for around noon time and was done by 2 pm.  

I have to say best customer service and pricing ever.  No upcharge, just gave me a quote and did the job in a timely manner.  Thank you Claude, will definitely recommend C & K Plumbing to my friends and family.  Even his wife Nancy who answer the phone was awesome, do yourself a favor and call them if you need plumbing done.

These guys are amazing! This was my second time working with this local Austin company and I have received nothing less than best service. I needed a bathroom remodel done last min as I am preparing to sale my home. Cody and his team were prompt in coming out and giving me a fair quote. Their communication was great  throughout the project and they got everything done within a timely manner. I took a leap of faith on this new company months ago when the ice storm hit after getting the run around from a few other companies and I am so glad I did!!! This company is really the best when it comes to caring about their customers! Nobody likes emergencies but this is the company to go to when you want to be taken care of!

This company did the plumbing install on our new house. We had problems from the start. We had out clean out clogged several times. Finally the city came out and ran a camera through the pipe. Their report was shocking and acurate.

The pipe had unnecessary bends, was crushed with a large rock and root, and had a blocked off y fitting in the section. What a joke. Totally Inane...
