I had the water sensor alarm go off and reached out to Lakeway Plumbing based on reviews and response time. Erik reached out right away and upon arrival, took complete ownership of the problem and resolution (called the manufacturer, arranged for a replacement, etc.). As a single mom, this is invaluable!

Wow!  This morning I woke up to a flooded utility & living room (thank goodness I have tile!).  I tried to turn off the water by the hot water heater and then out by the street - couldn't do it.  Called the plumbing co I've used in the past & explained my dilemma with a panicked voice I'm sure.  Fox Service told me no one could help until afternoon - I couldn't believe it LOL!  So I searched Yelp and ended up finding Tony.  He was here in 10 minutes!!!  Got the water turned off and is now installing a new hot water heater.  What a nice guy and very efficient.  Even helped me haul out the water soaked towels so I could wring them outside.  I highly recommend Tony.

Me. Plumber did an outstanding job today for an extremely reasonable price.  I am very satisfied with the quality of their work and the care they took with my house.  Very highly recommend these guys.  Formerly Steve's Plumbing!  Rosendo and his helper are awesome for sure.

Let me start by saying they did fix the leak behind my kitchen sink. Other than that it was a mess - they arrived more than 3 hours after the expected window, tried to sell a water softener by saying I know you got nice clothes and your wife comes home with bags, then charged me for a slab leak and a pressure test. There was neither a slab leak nor a pressure test done... Stay away from this company unless you want a ripoff and asshole comments.

I should also add I contacted their office to complain and while a manager was supposed to call twice, they never did.

Mike has been my plumber for years except for a period when I lost his phone number and tried the number posted on Yelp.  His business is NOT closed.  It was just my good luck that I ran into him one day and got his number again.  As great a plumber as he is, he simply does not advertise beyond having a business card.  His phone number is 512-626-8036.  Do yourself a favor and hang onto that number.

VERY BAD experience with this plumber. He is rude, does not listen and is quite demanding. Richard the owner was contracted by American Home Shield to replace a faulty Hot Water Heater and to bring it to code. Aside from the payment received from AHS, I was charged an additional $580 to complete the installation. I asked him for an itemized bill and he stated he would not give it to me. I suggested I wouldn't pay him unless I understood the breakout; so I could review with Home Shield as part of my contractual agreement. He finally agreed and presented me with an explanation of charges- which included a $140 Permit charge to get the work inspected by the city. Two weeks after the installation, I had to call him on several occasions to remind him of the city approval/permit that I paid for. He finally sets the appointment with the City after the third reminder. Upon inspection - the city failed the installation and did not issue a permit. I was told that the hot water heater was connected incorrectly to the second heater; causing the second heater to act as a reservoir only. That meant that the new heater would be overworked to compensate for the other. I notified Richard of the issue reported by the City Inspector and was told that the inspector was an idiot and he would have someone else come out to perform the inspection. Furthermore, he stated that he installed it exactly the way it was before and if I wanted to change it - I would have to pay him an additional fee. As part of the installation, he should have known whether it was installed correctly and if there were an issue - he should have brought it to my attention at the time of service. Two months pass and I call him back regarding the failed permit and he insists that the installation is good and he will not perform any additional work on the project. I ask that he work with the city in order to get a passing permit and he refuses to do so.

Jimmy showed up right on time and answered all questions I had.  Quality workmanship on our plumbing needs.

We needed a shower faucet fixed and they were here quickly and took care of everything to our satisfaction. Very good customer service by Darius M. and would have no problems hiring them again.

I want to thank the staff at Alamo Water Softners for their responsivness in rectifing an issue I had recently. Two weeks ago I had a new system put in along with a new pressure relief valve. The crew they sent out were a little inexperienced an as a result made a few errors. I wrote a review that stated the issue and the next day a supervisor contacted me and sent a new crew out to correct the issue. The result is better than I previously had...new control box in the ground along with a shutoff valve and new solder joints on the pipes! Jonathan (aka Paco) and Brandon did an outstanding job! Thanks Alamo for superb customer service!

They over charged for the repair and did poor quality work.  They also burned PVC pipes next to the copper pipes they sweated.  Stay away from this company.

Spoke with the coordinator and set up an appt. for two days later. No one ever showed, called or texted. I left a message and no call back. Very unprofessional.

Professional, timely and thorough. Gage and Rob did an amazing job!  I even got to view the inside of my pipes though a camera they shared with me. Highly recommend.

Lanier Plumbing was great...they were able to work us in on a Friday when we had an outdoor faucet spraying water everywhere. They charge $135/hour, plus a $25 service fee. It seems pretty on par with what other plumbers charge. Just really appreciate that they got this fixed the day that I called. Thank you!

C & K Plumbing installed a hot water heater in my house and took care of the warranty process for the broke unit.  They have the best customer service and pricing.

I called Supreme Plumbing because of an urgent plumbing issue at my house. I sent them a picture of what was going on and they recommended I call the city to fix the issue which turned out to be correct. Incredibly helpful and honest. I really appreciated the time and the help.

Seriously! I have found my plumber for the rest of the time I live in Elgin (although I hope to never need him again). So it turns out I did not have a slab leak, instead the builder put the water line UNDER the driveway! It is about 1 1/2 feet in. My roommate dug and dug until he found the leak and cleaned the area all around it. I called Mike and let him know what was going on. He went staright out to my house, fixed the leak and called me to tell me it was $100 even and he would just leave me a bill. He also said if I leave him the paperwork from the city to try to recoup some of my super high bill, he would sign it and leave it on the front door.
After speaking to so many plumbers in the past few weeks it is refreshing to know I have a good, honest plumber I can count on from now on!
