I called Doug's to install a new faucet/drain set (which my wife had already purchased) for the bathroom sink and also to repair a leaky kitchen faucet. Jason was the plumber sent to handle this call, and he handled those problems in an entirely professional manner. In particular: for the installation he explained the cost and then, upon our approval, took his time (though it was more than he had anticipated) to make sure that it was done not just properly but also optimally.  He then examined the leaky faucet and pointed out that installing an entirely new unit would cost little more than repairing the old one; he recommended that we forgo the repair, get a new faucet set, and call back later to have it installed -- advice for which we were grateful and that we followed. Throughout, Jason was friendly and helpful; he also cleaned up the work area thoroughly upon completion and, while inside the house, even covered his shoes with protective booties to help preserve our floors.
    Hence I do not hesitate to recommend Doug's for plumbing service. The only caveat is that, instead of charging by the hour for labor, that cost is set *in advance* by their book. This means the fee may end up being *more* than that with a plumber who simply charges an hourly rate; in that sense, a book-style pricing policy is to the vendor's advantage. At the same time, though, the resulting fixed prices are an advantage for the customer whenever (as happened with our bathroom faucet installation) the project takes *longer* than the book's pricing would predict.

After a scheduling mishap they went above and beyond to make things right. It's not often you find a company that goes out of their way to delight their customer!  

In the end all turned out great. And we have the upmost respect for the great job Lakeway Plumbing did. We'll definitely use them again.

Everyone I called was completely booked for weeks, Tony came out within 30 minutes of me calling him. I had a 45 degree plastic pipe under the ground in my front yard break and my front yard was completely soaked. He came out assessed the problem and had his son come out and fix it for me within an hour it was fixed, and for a very reasonable price. I will always recommend these guys! Awesome work, great price  who could ask for more?

Me. Plumber did an outstanding job today for an extremely reasonable price.  I am very satisfied with the quality of their work and the care they took with my house.  Very highly recommend these guys.  Formerly Steve's Plumbing!  Rosendo and his helper are awesome for sure.

I had PVC pipe repair for spring cooler in the front yard. It had a needle point hole. I dig ground and the plumber simply just cut the pipe and repaired. It took around 20 min. and he asked me $395. It was first time to repair and I did not know the market price. I searched google and it cost from $100 to $180. I think it is way too expensive. I call 3 times for 3 days and they promised me to call me back but they never did it.
Reasonable price is one the most important thing for customer. By the way service and repair was not bad.

Mike has been my plumber for years except for a period when I lost his phone number and tried the number posted on Yelp.  His business is NOT closed.  It was just my good luck that I ran into him one day and got his number again.  As great a plumber as he is, he simply does not advertise beyond having a business card.  His phone number is 512-626-8036.  Do yourself a favor and hang onto that number.

We called these guys after 1700 on Friday of Labor Day weekend, and they came straight out to see about a leak on what we thought was our side of the water meter...we dug the hole before they'd arrived and realized we had no clue what to do when it kept leaking into it (we're talking shop vac times a dozen times and water STILL kept coming in).  Their recommendation, after pulling bucket after bucket of water out, as well as digging more of the hole, was to call the City of Georgetown, because the job even perplexed them.
When asked what we owed for having them come out at such a late hour on a holiday weekend, we were told, Not a dime.

They have our forever business for being upfront and honest and amazing people.

(btw, it turns out it is, indeed, the City's issue, so Legend Oaks will be without water for a period of time on Tuesday...)

Jarred Kobus was our technician.  Jarred worked hard and efficiently to troubleshoot our AC issues.  He was very thorough, polite and professional.  We have used this company in the past for plumbing and HVAC servicing.  I highly recommend 1st Home and Jarred.

Had my water softener and under sink Reverse Osmosis drinking water system installed today by AWS and I can't say enough about these guys. From the professionalism and zero pressures sales to the very clean and professional installers and their quality work - I would give them 6 stars if I could. We went with the gold system and am totally happy with my purchase. We lived in Phoenix, AZ before so I was familiar with the water softener game. Until finding AWS I was honestly not impressed with any company I had dealt with - they were all way overpriced for an inferior product and made you feel like you're just being cheap. I'm not cheap but when your bottom of the line/ builders grade that we don't even like to offer is over $4k, and additional $$ if you want reverse osmosis, that is just ridiculous. I'm not cheap or naive! I had literally almost given up until I found AWS and am so glad I did. Highly recommended! Maybe the owners should go into restraint business to get some good service around here!! Thank you AWS!!

They over charged for the repair and did poor quality work.  They also burned PVC pipes next to the copper pipes they sweated.  Stay away from this company.

My hot water heater broke during the winter storm in February. After having difficulties with several plumbers, Tony answered my call and came within 24 hours. He was able to fix my water heater in minutes. Great guy, great service. I will be using Tony again for other contracting needs in the future.

Clay and Dylan were awesome! They were able to fix several issues we had with low water pressure in our sinks and a toilet that would run at random times.  They even looked at an issue I was having with the water line in the refrigerator and helped fix that, too.  I will definitely use Plumb Masters again with any plumbing issues!

I was referred to Lanier Plumbing by a longtime friend...and it was a great recommendation!  I had a very simple task -- replacing a leaking gasket on a toilet.  They arrived within the time window given.  I was given a heads-up phone call before they arrived.  Surprisingly, three men showed up (a bit overkill, I thought, for a leaking toilet), but I'm guessing it was a few apprentices in-training.  All were nice and courteous.  Project went a bit sideways (not their fault...more of a manufacturing issue), so it took quite some time for what I had assumed would be an easy task.  But, they helped me understand the issues all along, and exercised caution in not risking permanent damage to my stubborn toilet tank. As time went by, I was worried about the bill I was racking up, but at the end, it was just a bit above what I had personally estimated the simple task would have cost.  Despite the issues, that weren't their fault at all, they gave an extremely fair price and worked to resolve the issue that I'm sure they too hadn't budgeted the time for.  It's a small joint.  And, I did have to call twice to get a callback, but, they are very trustworthy and fair.  Can't beat that in someone you are welcoming into your home and trusting with your property!

This review is LONG overdue. I bought my first house and contacted C&K when I had some shower issues. Claude is prompt, fair priced, and knowledgeable. He is now my go to for any plumbing and has since helped me with my tub leaking downstairs, installing new toilets, installing a new shower valve, and a stuck washer hookup.
He takes time to explain everything and helps me prioritize repairs.
His wife is also wonderful! So easy to schedule and I can barely even get one ring through on the phone before she answers :)

Our water heater started having problems and was about due for a replacement. Supreme was able to come out quickly and replace the unit efficiently and at a competitively fair price. They kept excellent communication throughout the project to let me know about any issues that may increase the total cost vs the estimate so there were no surprises at payment. Highly recommended!

Seriously! I have found my plumber for the rest of the time I live in Elgin (although I hope to never need him again). So it turns out I did not have a slab leak, instead the builder put the water line UNDER the driveway! It is about 1 1/2 feet in. My roommate dug and dug until he found the leak and cleaned the area all around it. I called Mike and let him know what was going on. He went staright out to my house, fixed the leak and called me to tell me it was $100 even and he would just leave me a bill. He also said if I leave him the paperwork from the city to try to recoup some of my super high bill, he would sign it and leave it on the front door.
After speaking to so many plumbers in the past few weeks it is refreshing to know I have a good, honest plumber I can count on from now on!
