I called three places to get estimates on some plumbing work we needed. Resetting a toilet, changing out shower/tub faucets and unclogging shower drain. Wedgeworth was the most reasonable and most detailed at explaining the process to us. We were hesitant at first about the estimate charge, but if you use them they credit it towards your total bill. We had some issues arise during the process: (1) trim face was wrong type, I needed moentrol and had ordered positemp (2) toilet flange needed to be replaced and (3) the drain was clogged by possible cement. Sean was more than helpful in every way he could assist to facilitate things for me and find alternatives. Unfortunately, at the end, I was very unhappy with the alternative trim we had to go with in order to get the job finished that day and will need to have them change it out. Reason for 4 star rather than 5 is that he did have to come back next day to retighten a handle as it was loose. If you are looking for a plumber who will explain in detail what all will be done, don't hesitate to give them a call. Honest and upfront.

Very good service!  On time and friendly. Animal lover, had no problem with our dogs being around.  Would definitely recommend!!!

John was super quick to respond following a late emergency request. He was able to jump on the phone immediately and provided a very reasonable estimate. He arrived shortly after the call, was quick to address the issue and provided overall great service. He was explained the issue and answered all of my questions. Highly recommend!!

Gary did a great job on my plumbing needs, was quick, efficient, cordial and friendly. He was also very-very honest and would point out and explain areas where we could save money by doing the work ourselves if it was simple enough.

Audits fixed 3-4 burst pipes in a single afternoon. Highly recommend. Arrived early to the property and is knowledgeable on plumbing.

Cristian came on time and diligently changed four toilet shutoff valves with new 1/4 turn type ball valves. Made sure it did not leak. He did a clean professional job.

I had a houseful of people over the holidays and our sewer jammed! I called around and he was the only one that answered. He came over promptly, cleared the poop jams, and explained how to solve the problem long term with the city. We even paid to have the camera that showed the inside of the pipes which was pretty interesting. He was professional, easy to work with, and we were able to use the restrooms soon after he arrived.

I would call him again and recommended him to everyone at our party.

Hugo was on time, knowledgeable and very neat.  Had a door that would not lock due to an older home on a crawl space, Hugo knew exactly what to do! He was quick and verbally told me everything he was going to do. This is a handyman that I will definitely keep the number of!  Can't go wrong with this guy!

They are by far the best plumber's in town. I did my research and asked for quotes everywhere and I finally found the right company for me. They were able to come right away, provide a quote, and take care of our piping problem's. I'm so happy that we found them and will continue to contact them for all our plumbing needs.

4 visits, holes in 2 walls, and $895 to cap a leaking recirculating line (that we ultimately had to find for them). Late twice and no-showed once. I shudder to think what it would have cost to complete the bubble testing they wanted to do...on a line that would be re-routed anyways.... .

We needed a replacement of our hot water heater. We received a quote from a few area plumbers, including an outrageously high quote from Abacus Plumbing, who also pushed hard for a quick decision. Lee of EPW quoted a much lower price and did not try to steer us toward the more expensive option. He showed up on-time this morning and did the job quickly and neatly. I am keeping these guys in the address book for future work.

Alex did an outstanding job in not only resolving our issue, but providing me with the information I needed to prevent any further issues. He charged a fair and reasonable price given his apparent level of expertise, and I fully intend to contact him if i have any other plumbing issues!
Oh and he showed up within the time window he gave me!

Contacted this establishment on 2/6/23 for someone to come out to my home to service a leak that was detected by the city of League City. My appointment was scheduled for 2/7/24 between 9am-10am. I received a call from Chris on 2/7 asking to push back our appointment due to being on another job so I agreed to 4pm. At 6pm, I received a call from Chris stating a tool was left behind at the previous job and he needed to reschedule. Super inconvenient considering I took off from work to be present for my appointment and as a teacher, we are not given many days to request off per school year. Needless to say I will not recommend this company to anybody.

Water heater replacement. Showed up a little after the scheduled time and left a bit of debris but other than that they gave me a much better price than with others I had quoted and I had a new water heater under 3hrs.

Was able to come out same day, plumber was great no complaints there. Requested to have 3 dual flush valves replaced in toilets. Estimate was $600. Plumber fixed the toilets in less than an hour. I called for a breakdown of labor vs parts and was told the cost is a flat charge by job.

We had two issues - a garbage disposal issue and a toilet leaking issue.  Both were  fixed promptly and he was very friendly and informative.

I had a poor experience using this business to fix my hot water heater in July and August 2022.
We have a fairly new and common Noritz tankless hot water heater which stopped working in mid-July.
I went with the fix proposed by them, spent over $1,000 doing so. They have been out 5 times since(hot water has been intermittently on and off since then), a few different technicians- and no one has been able to figure out why their repair can't fix the problem.
The office manager at TQP also has been hard to get a hold of and doesn't always return calls.
Finally I called another company this week.
Their technician figured out the problem within an hour or so  - it was a faulty valve not the sensor they replaced. Furthermore, the other company arranged to get my parts replaced under the warranty, which TQP didn't tell me was at least an option. I will not be using them again.

Totally took advantage of the Covid-19 pandemic.
I wonder if each of their plumbers set the rate based on what he thinks you can pay. I had a 15' repair of a pipe (pinhole leak). They charged over $700. Then said I had a bad valve in water heater (4 years old) and charged over $400 to replace that. Learned later it was a $20 part and 5 minute job. Garbage disposal quote over $400- All other quotes were  around $100. Got them to come down on that a little. Plumber later admitted he works on commission and business was down 85% due to pandemic. I had other plumbing needs but decided to cut my losses. Fancy trucks, tv advertising = super high prices. I think I will report them to Attorney General. Could have had my long term loyalty but they blew it!
