Had a water heater leaking enough to produce a long trail from one end of the garage to the other.

Called early on a Monday morning. After on a short wait, Ramon came on-site and sized up the situation and began draining the heater. While waiting for the draining to complete, Ramon left and returned with a new unit and removed the old one. The new install took went quickly. He replaced the factory plastic drain fitting with a new metal pipe and valve to ensure easier maintenance. Afterwards, he tested all fittings and adjusted the chimney/exhaust inside and on the roof. Ramon cleared all the packaging materials as well.

Overall, Ramon was very respectful over the phone and in person. On site, he spoke plainly regarding what he was seeing and what he was going to do about it. He worked quickly and methodically. In the end, the total was far less than I was expecting.

Would recommend Ramon and will call again if the need arises!

I was in need of a septic pumping and inspection on a home we were purchasing/inspecting. Bill arrived early for the job and was extremely knowledgeable as he walked me through everything. (As we've never owned a septic system we admittedly had a lot of questions.) Bill was  was pleasant to work with and most importantly was thorough. I had a water leak in my kitchen.  I opened a service ticket for a plumbing repair with my home warranty company.  When Joby responded, he checked all of the sinks and drains and could not find a leak.  He went above board to look at the HVAC system and determined that the a/c was frozen and leaking.  He took photos of the frozen pipes so I could document the issue for future claims.  He turned the thermostat up per my request to keep the system from freezing further.  I was not able to be there, and he was honest and told me exactly what he was doing while he was in my condo.  I would recommend Huffman Plumbing for excellent customer service!

Hands down, A Deal Plumbing is the best plumbing business in Austin!  We have a house built in 1950, and it's had tons of plumbing problems over decades.  Until I lucked up and found A Deal Plumbing, about 10 years ago, we'd had many plumbers here with fair to bad results.  But the plumbing throughout the house is in great shape now thanks to Arnold and his sons.  In addition to handling competently ANY kind of plumbing problem, Arnold and his sons are honorable, totally trustworthy men.  What a fine business!!!

This company is amazing! Within 30 minutes of our A/C going out on a 95 degree Friday night, Mark arrived and quickly diagnosed the problem, and promptly fixed. I was lucky to get on Woods' schedule during the Polar Vortex because they had a cancellation. They arrived in the early evening and capped my outdoor hose bib that had broken, fixed the ruptured pipes around my water softener, and
repaired an overhead pipe that was spewing water all over my bedroom, all for a very
reasonable price. Royce and his partner were the consummate professionals.

Eric did a fine job replacing a sink garbage disposal unit.  We found a leak under the sink in the morning and the problem was fixed by that afternoon.

Joe at Atech Plumbing helped my sister and I talk through a fire sprinkler leak at her town home, which busted due to the severe winter weather we had in Austin. My sister and I were very frazzled and nervous and he calmly helped us figure out what to do over the phone. He was professional, empathetic, kind and very knowledgeable. I was so impressed with his customer service, especially during what was/is probably the most hectic, busy time in his company's career right now  (plumbing issues on a volume Austin has NEVER seen). I HIGHLY recommend Joe and his company for their A+ service. You will not regret it!

I wanted to put a shout out to John C at Johnny Rooter. He helped me diagnose the problem over the phone and I was able to fix it myself. I'll definitely use Johnny Rooter in the future due to this excellent customer service!

Had SALT electric come out to fix a lighting problem in our attic. Technician that came to the house was great and was able to identify the problem and fix it.  The company apparently routinely does a 30 point home inspection when they come out for service where they go and identify potential problem areas (no charge for this on the invoice). While this can be seen as helpful, it's also a way to sell additional services. We had our entire house rewired 10 years ago by licensed electricians, so the number of items that were determined on our inspection as not in code seemed unusual.  Our problem turned out to be a simple replacement of a light switch that had been invaded by ants.  They had a $79 service fee which seems standard for the industry.  My bill for replacement of a light switch including service fee was $371.00 (time spent on fixing the problem was minimal) which seems extremely excessive for the actual problem.  Not sure if I had refused the 30 point home inspection if price would have been any different but again there was no charge associated on the invoice. Rating related tp pricing.

Owner of company (Eusebio) hardly returns calls. He is not personable and is completely hands off. Jorge, his brother on the other hand is the profesional one. He picks up calls, he is resourceful and helpful and does the work on a timely manner.
All you want is for Jorge to be in charge of your project.
