The tech just left my house and despite some scheduling issues (I was scheduled for between 10-12 to get a call, but didn't get one, so there was some sort of confusion, luckily I called and there was someone right around the corner).

We had water leaking from the indoor unit and the tech found someone had put tape over the pipe where you're supposed to drop either some vinegar or bleach every six months to keep the drain clear. Needless to say, the drain pipe was clogged, so he blew some air into it, we found where the drain pipe exited, and problem solved. And no charge for the quick fix! Thanks :)

Mike has been my plumber for years except for a period when I lost his phone number and tried the number posted on Yelp.  His business is NOT closed.  It was just my good luck that I ran into him one day and got his number again.  As great a plumber as he is, he simply does not advertise beyond having a business card.  His phone number is 512-626-8036.  Do yourself a favor and hang onto that number.

We hired GIS to update our garage at a home we had just bought. Emilio and Mark were out at the property in a day, reviewing the space and communicating clearly what the work would entail. I had a detailed written quote within 24 hours. After signing, communication was great and Tony and Mark started work quickly, and the job was ultimately done timely and well and handled professionally in all aspects. Great company and friendly employees!

Our shower would not turn off, and we broke the handle in the process. We needed a plumber immediately, and after speaking with Jennifer, we were able to book our AMAZING plumber Graham! He put us right at ease with his knowledge and professionalism. Additionally, he wore a mask and gloves the whole time (and our dog loved him too). He quickly diagnosed the problem and gave us a fair quote. He gave us direction on where to acquire the new shower handle, in order to reduce the quote, and it was very easy to get. He got the job done in one hour! We are now part of the Plumb Masters family and will only use Graham and Plumb Masters for any future services.

Huge shout out to Lanier Plumbing! **They literally saved us thousands of dollars and tons of trouble.**
Two other companies said we were going to have to either cut into our awesome 1957 tile or uninstall and reinstall our HVAC (in a closet that backs up to the shower) to address a problem with our hot water. Lanier came out and solved the problem, I kid you not, in about 5 minutes--most important tool used was a *dime.* And they took care of several other minor plumbing problems for us. C & K Plumbing installed a hot water heater in my house and took care of the warranty process for the broke unit.  They have the best customer service and pricing.

They fixed our toilet for a very reasonable cost. Other places were charging 20% to doubling the price. Our neighborhood recommended them and we're passing the rec forward

Kevin was awesome .. I have a 400 foot run from meter to my house .. Kevin found leak with in a few min of arriving ... Reliable, reasonably priced and solid workmanship. Has done multiple jobs from simple faucet install to complex repair (reconnected bath drain in the slab requiring jack hammering to make a difficult reconnect to fix the leak. Also replaced water heater and replaced copper pipe after a freeze. Highly recommende!

Butch Marshall and his team are amazing. Reasonably priced, knowledgeable and professional! I have had them do work on my home and referred them several times. Everyone that I know that has had them come out was very pleased with their work. Even had someone contact me to get their number again after all their phone contacts were lost 'just in case' they need a plumber again. Highly recommend!

Jon came to our house for a few simple plumbing items during a kitchen reno. The work was completed quickly and easily, no issues at all! But what really stood out to me was Jon's interactions with my 4 year old son, Isaiah. Jon didn't mind letting him watch and even help with the work! My son was (and still is) thrilled about it. Anytime I tell the kids a contractor is coming to the house to do some work, he asks if Mr Jon is coming too. Thankful for the plumbing work but also the kindness, patience, and graciousness with the kids, very personable service. If we ever have a plumbing issue, we will be thrilled to have Mr Jon at our house again!

Seriously! I have found my plumber for the rest of the time I live in Elgin (although I hope to never need him again). So it turns out I did not have a slab leak, instead the builder put the water line UNDER the driveway! It is about 1 1/2 feet in. My roommate dug and dug until he found the leak and cleaned the area all around it. I called Mike and let him know what was going on. He went staright out to my house, fixed the leak and called me to tell me it was $100 even and he would just leave me a bill. He also said if I leave him the paperwork from the city to try to recoup some of my super high bill, he would sign it and leave it on the front door.
After speaking to so many plumbers in the past few weeks it is refreshing to know I have a good, honest plumber I can count on from now on!

A week ago, we called AAA Auger (#aaaauger)to unclog our sewage main at a price of $350.  A day later, we are still having issues.  We had to go out of town for 3 days and since we've gotten back, our sewage line has backed up 3 more times.  They elected NOT to warranty their work because they said there were roots growing in our pipe (of course, there is no real evidence of that since they wanted to charge another $250 just to run a camera down the line).  I understand that we live in an older house and that the possibility of there being a collapse somewhere in the line exists, however, for $350 they should exhaust all means of finding the root cause of the issue before suggesting we spend another $5000 to replace everything.  Now, a week later they want to charge another $150 to do the same thing they did a week ago.  NOT a satisfied customer!!!  I wouldn't recommend these guys to anyone.
