We had a minor issue with our air conditioning and called Texas Air Conditioning Specialist based on the Yelp reviews.  The came over, spent a half hour fixing the problem and said that wasn't a big job - no charge - just keep us in mind for the future!  What????  No charge????  Unheard of.  

Our whole system will need to be replaced in a year or two and you can bet we'll call them.

Mike has been my plumber for years except for a period when I lost his phone number and tried the number posted on Yelp.  His business is NOT closed.  It was just my good luck that I ran into him one day and got his number again.  As great a plumber as he is, he simply does not advertise beyond having a business card.  His phone number is 512-626-8036.  Do yourself a favor and hang onto that number.

I would highly recommend Tony to anybody. He is honest, fair and professional.

At first I couldn't afford Tony's bid. But after talking to him about it and splitting up the work and materials we came up with a mutually agreeable contract. He was really easy to talk to and that helps immensely.

I really liked that he showed up in a mask and it took a little longer than expected because of Covid.

Not only was Tony easy to communicate and work with, his crew did an outstanding job. And when he asked me about how I thought it was going, I pointed out a few minor issues that he addressed immediately. He had all of his guys there within the hour to alleviate any and all concerns. He really listened!

Oliver and Marco did a great job fighting through the challenges with my clogged main plumbing line!  Gave me a thorough and detailed diagnosis of a larger issue and a well explained quote.

We had a sewer line back up in our front yard - pretty gross.  They came out the same day and the plumber told me that it was the city's line.  He suggested that I call 311 and that the city would fix it for us for free.  Nice, professional and very honest!

Best plumber ever!  He fixed my garbage disposal when he was home on vacation several years ago. He also installed my dishwasher on a different time. He also did work for my father in laws business Dees Meat.  Claude does a professional job on every job even for family.

First of all-I think a majority of the positive reviews on here are likely friends doing a favor. Second, if you scroll down and look at the bottom left you can see where yelp filters reviews-and see them... majority are negative, and similar experiences to mine. Maybe they're advertising with yelp, but the non-biased algorithm is begin pretty biased if you ask me.

I had a water heater go out and called my home warranty company on Monday morning. They assigned me to Affordable Plus Plumbing and told me to call to schedule an inspection. I called immediately and a woman answers- I explained my situation and she said, Oh well, if it needs to be replaced we can do that and the warranty covers it-but if it isn't up to code it might cost you money to get it to code She then gave me some example of some other person who needed an exterior drain and drain pan and what that cost them. (I didn't need an estimate on a hypothetical situation that didn't apply to me, but ok-thanks for the heads up).

Then-she said they were very busy today, but she would call and see if he can come today (11am). I understood they may not be able to. She said she would check and call me back. After an hour and a half, I called her again-she said, ya... he's going to come today. Me, any time frame? Her, ummm, I don't know he said he would make it today, and that he was in the middle of something and would call me back. Me, ok.... I stayed at home to work just in case he came by... No show. At 5:15 pm I called again-she said, ohhhh he's not going to make it today he got stuck at another job. (thanks for letting me know?!!!) I asked when he could come by... She asked if the next day (Tuesday) between 1-4pm was ok. I asked if any earlier could work, she said no. I agreed to the time frame, and asked that in anticipation of needing a replacement (it had already been inspected by a company that my home warranty didn't send out). could she schedule some time on Wednesday... after a back and forth about how he needed to inspect it first, which I agreed with, she said she would put aside a couple hours... ok?!

Tuesday- I took a half day and was home from 1-4pm. I called at 3pm, I said, I know it isn't 4pm yet, and I am sorry to bother you... but just want to confirm he's still coming... She said, yes, he's still coming. Ok. I sat there until 4pm. No show. I call her again, and explain that I am frustrated because I stayed home two 1/2 days, and its not so much that they're busy, but that there is ZERO communication or follow through. She says, well... he says he called you earlier and left a message. Well... he didn't. AND even if he HAD, then why at 3 did you say he was still coming????

I ask for his direct #. I call him-he says, oh you didn't get my voicemail from earlier...? no. Oh... well which part of Austin are you in? (I have provided this twice) I tell him again... He explains that there is traffic now to go south (yes... you knew that). He explains he thinks he can fix the water heater, no need to replace (hasn't seen it yet). Ok, fine! Whatever... when can you come out? He says, Ill try tonight but WE WILL SEE HOW IT GOES, ok? Me, no, not ok... if not tonight, when? He says, if they don't make it tonight I will call you in the morning, Me, ok... will you have someone available tomorrow to come out in the morning? Him, I don't know... but I'll call you in the morning. Me, ok.

Wednesday. 11am- no call. I call my home warranty company and explain, they cancel the order and reassign me. 1pm-the woman from the company calls to let me know, a technician is on his way. I tell her, don't bother. (ALSO, what if I hadn't stayed home-now I am supposed to drop everything to meet a technician, I didn't know was coming. Because no one called in the morning as promised)

Zero professionalism. Zero communication. Zero respect for my time, schedule, or job. Zero reliability. What a joke and waste of two and half days- with NO hot water..

Jimmy showed up right on time and answered all questions I had.  Quality workmanship on our plumbing needs.

Can't say enough. I'm a single mom, recently divorced  dealing with a house that has all kinds of maintenance issues Im just getting my head around. One night around midnight with three kids in bed, I had a major  plumbing crisis ... toilets overflowing...septic backing up. I looked for a recommended emergency plumber on a neighborhood listserve.  I found supreme plumbing. This kid responded immediately to my text and showed up first thing the next morning after explaining to me that night how to mitigate the immediate crisis.   He  is super professional, more knowledgeable than any plumber I've ever used, and completely transparent/ upfront about costs.

We had a pretty complicated plumbing-septic  mess that had been going on for a while that no one before could figure out. Supreme plumbing finally got it solved without charging me a fortune.

This company is very awesome at their job and Kevin was right on time and found the problem​ within minutes and relayed what needed to be fixed to my plumber so that they would be prepared​ to do the job correctly​​ If I​ ever have a problem againI'm​m going to these professionals every time without hesitation.

Reliable, reasonably priced and solid workmanship. Has done multiple jobs from simple faucet install to complex repair (reconnected bath drain in the slab requiring jack hammering to make a difficult reconnect to fix the leak. Also replaced water heater and replaced copper pipe after a freeze. Highly recommende!

Got a quote for a clogged toilet. Reasonably priced yet booked for the day. Needed service ASAP! The gentleman on the phone gave me two local recommendations! This is what I consider excellent customer service. Even though they were unable to see me, they went above and beyond by giving me local recommendations to resolve my problem. Ross Plumbing is 1000% committed and determined to fix your problem. They are very responsive and always show up on time. They are high-quality plumbers who are amazing people.
Ross Plumbing was recommended to me by the folks at Glass Well and I'm glad they did. Cody and Clint have taken care of several fairly routine plumbing issues for me and have been prompt, courteous, and reasonable.
More recently I've had a water heater problem. They replaced it but there were still issues. Over a couple of weeks they came out several times (no charge) and tired different solutions. When I mentioned I had a high flow rate on my water softener but no one could find a leak, even the plumbers with fancy technology, Clint ruled out other issues and finally discovered that yes, there was a slab leak from the water heater. We had all been stumped for months, but using reason and the process of elimination, plus his plumbing knowledge, Clint nailed it. Although it will be costly to fix this, at least now I know what the problem is and we can work around it till it's fixed. And if this ends up being a job beyond the scope of what Cody Ross Plumbing does, I will use Leroy Ross (Cody's father), who does construction plumbing.
In summary, they're the best around on all fronts. I cannot rate them high enough for what they've done.

Jon made a pleasant experience out of a not so pleasant situation. They were honest, upfront and did an amazing job. We never felt rushed or pressured. The problem was fixed and all of our future options were laid out so we knew what to do moving forward. Highly recommend American Eagle for their professionalism and honesty and will certainly use them for any plumbing needs in the future.

Seriously! I have found my plumber for the rest of the time I live in Elgin (although I hope to never need him again). So it turns out I did not have a slab leak, instead the builder put the water line UNDER the driveway! It is about 1 1/2 feet in. My roommate dug and dug until he found the leak and cleaned the area all around it. I called Mike and let him know what was going on. He went staright out to my house, fixed the leak and called me to tell me it was $100 even and he would just leave me a bill. He also said if I leave him the paperwork from the city to try to recoup some of my super high bill, he would sign it and leave it on the front door.
After speaking to so many plumbers in the past few weeks it is refreshing to know I have a good, honest plumber I can count on from now on!

Truthfully....... please, lets be truthful here. Not sure who you got your information from but it is ALL wrong. There were NO after hour trips to our home nor were there phone calls we did not answer. That could not be further from the TRUTH!!!! WE were the ones always calling and not getting the plumber to return OUR calls when he was supposed to be here working and would just not show up. At times days at a time!!!!! Even the dispatchers who answer your calls from customers couldn't contact him and called us back apologizing cause they didn't know where he was or why he was not calling us or the office back!!!! I have EVERY single thing documented and witnesses. I refuse to be treated like this continually by your company. As a matter of fact I called in a week ago for issues we are having here from the work that was done. Shocker.... still no phone call back. Fine, we can get another company out here to check things out. Then we can see you in court for all the wrong you have done.
You want truth well you are obviously NOT getting it from the people who work for you!!! Or you don't care. Not sure which. Calling the police was complete B.S.
No one was afraid they would have to do it again. I spoke with the manager Frank that morning to complain about getting someone out here to finish cause no one was calling. He apologized also and said he would get him here to finish and to also work on better communication. He also had another gentleman call me shortly after we spoke about fixing some repairs inside the home the plumbers had caused that Frank promised to get fixed. Needless to say they never got fixed as promised. So then, to my surprise Jayson came alright with the police. What a joke. What happened to that communication? Jayson told myself and the police Frank told him to call the police. Interesting, cause in our conversation hours earlier there was NO concern about payment. We just wanted the job completed. And as per our contract the job was to be paid in full when the job was complete. At this point it was NOT even close to complete. Which is also stated in the police report.
Y'all got your $$ as soon as it was complete. Funny how now that y'all did and we have problems yet again with the same thing you don't call back. So much for any warranty!!!!
Please, get the right information before responding. Or at least have the courtesy to call the customer yourself and find out!!
I wish this nightmare was over but obviously it is not!

Whoever is using the name The King of Drains on Yelp in Austin appears to be a scammer even though I believe there is a legitimate company by that name in San Antonio. Raymond Jones at 737-600-2552 showed up, took a look at the plumbing, talked about doing thousands of dollars of work, requested $485 for apparently doing nothing about our slow drain, could only be paid by Zelle or CashApp, had the payment rescinded by CashApp to protect me, and hasn't been heard from since. Do not engage with this person or you will regret it!
