I have been a customer of TACPS for 8 years. They started doing small repairs for me and then replaced one of my heat pumps two years ago. When I came home last week to a leaking ceiling naturally I called TACPS. I had been traveling for work and by the time I got home it was late. I was on the phone with Martin until 11:00 pm on a Friday night working through my options. I ended up deciding to replace the unit and scheduled to have the work done on Tuesday although Martin said he could have had it done sooner I picked Tuesday.

They arrived in the morning and after a long day the unit was installed and working by 7:00 pm.

I was especially impressed with how professional the installers were. Ismael and Aurelio took great care to make sure I understood all the work and left everything cleaner and more organized than how they found it.

Having to buy a new heat pump is stressful because of the cost. You cannot help but wonder if you are being taken advantage of. I have worked with many different companies, gotten bids etc. I truly trust TXACPS.

Mike has been my plumber for years except for a period when I lost his phone number and tried the number posted on Yelp.  His business is NOT closed.  It was just my good luck that I ran into him one day and got his number again.  As great a plumber as he is, he simply does not advertise beyond having a business card.  His phone number is 512-626-8036.  Do yourself a favor and hang onto that number.

Tony and his crew did great, quick, and very thorough work. We had GIS paint and frame out exhaust for a new portable AC unit. Their quote was very reasonable and we'll hire them again.

Horrible experience. We interrupted his dinner. He was rude and would not cooperate with my contractor to discuss what he had been working on. The plumber said he went to school and did not want to share his knowledge with my contractor and did not diagnose the problem.  Meanwhile, my contractor kept looking at things and figured out the problem without the help of your schooled plumber. It was simply the water heater leaking and I find it amazing that a plumber wouldn't consider that and go look.  

I tried calling the manager in the following days.  He finally called back. I was telling him what happened and we got disconnected.  I called right back and was told the manager had left.  He did call back after we got disconnected.

Your plumber was not here to supervise anything. He was requested to fix the problem. The contractor was here to tell him exactly what he had done so far. Your plumber wanted to immediately start tearing out drywall. I said let's wait five minutes for my contractor to get here because he knows what was behind the walls since he had just put up new drywall. Thank god I didn't let him because it had nothing to do with what was behind the drywall. It was the water heater in the attic.

Why didn't your trained license plumber think about checking the water heater? He just got bent out of shape that my contractor was there to explain the update so far.  That's when your car plumber basically refused to speak with my contractor.  And that's when he decided to leave without diagnosing the problem.  

I deserve a refund. You did not perform a job for me.  You did not do anything but want to start tearing out drywall at great expense to me.

It's hard to find a plumber in Austin at short notice! Lanier was the first business that was available to come out and fix a broken tap this morning at short notice. It was kind of an urgent fix as we had to turn off the hot water to the whole house because we could not stop water spewing out of the broken tap.

Phil and his apprentice were great. They fixed the problem quickly, and without extorting us. Labor and parts were fairly priced and there were no surprise costs at the end. Thank you!

So I'm happy to add this to the chorus of happy reviews. We'll definitely call Lanier next time we need a plumber.

I called them because we had a slow draining bathroom sink. They were able to come out within a couple of hours and clear the drain for less than $200. Technician wore appropriate PPP and was very nice.

Ok so here's the update......They must have either read the complaints on here or just got better employees. The technician that came out was on-time, nice, and got the job done. We haven't had any issues. Overall happy with the service and glad that they didn't prove to be a half-rate biz like a lot of the revues on here stated. Would I use them again...not too sure unless I have to go through my warranty company.

Jimmy showed up right on time and answered all questions I had.  Quality workmanship on our plumbing needs.

Kevin and Precision Leak Detection are probably the best company you could call on if you are experiencing a water leak and aren't able to locate it or sure where to turn. We had a water leak at our house that was most likely located in our slab (as it was not showing itself anywhere else and we could hear the water running/see meter running). We were unsure who to call or what to do as we knew costs on something like this can easily skyrocket and we wanted to be smart about how we went about handling this. The first plumbers we called out couldn't find anything and recommended we wait to let the leak show itself (not a good idea) and other plumbers we spoke to could only start opening walls and tearing through things to search for it. Another leak detection company was extremely expensive and booked weeks out. Kevin was so knowledgeable and experienced that we were quickly confident we made the right decision. He was able to locate the main leak in our slab pretty quickly and help us talk through some ideas for repair with a plumber. He uses a lot of different tools that help him locate the leak/lines/manifolds with the least amount of invasiveness to your property. Once we made that necessary repair we later discovered we had a second slab leak and Kevin went above and beyond to work with us on coming back out to locate that. He was patient, thorough, never did we feel that he was in a rush to leave and just really cared that we were able to identify the problem and again talk through some ideas for repairs. He gave us some guidance and walked us through some steps over the phone to help us out. We were extremely anxious about the whole process and cost to get to the bottom of our problem, as we've had a lot of other unexpected costs recently, and Kevin and Precision Leak Detection were just the right team we were supposed to cross paths with. We know without a doubt we would not have gotten the same level of service and care from another company. Should we ever need their services again, fingers crossed, we would use them again in a heartbeat and refer our friends/family. Thank you Kevin and Precision Leak Detection. God bless!

Reliable, reasonably priced and solid workmanship. Has done multiple jobs from simple faucet install to complex repair (reconnected bath drain in the slab requiring jack hammering to make a difficult reconnect to fix the leak. Also replaced water heater and replaced copper pipe after a freeze. Highly recommende!

Got a quote for a clogged toilet. Reasonably priced yet booked for the day. Needed service ASAP! The gentleman on the phone gave me two local recommendations! This is what I consider excellent customer service. Even though they were unable to see me, they went above and beyond by giving me local recommendations to resolve my problem. I'm a new client of Ross Plumbing.  Clint replaced a damaged copper line with PEX - supporting a recirculating hot water pump attached to my water heater.  Ross Plumbing scheduled me quickly, and the repair is awesome.  Clint was knowledgable, super friendly and the price was fair.  Ross Plumbing is my go-to plumber moving forward.  Thank you again Clint!

1, They gave an appointment  1 week out and confirmed on text that free estimate would be provided for repair when they came out
2. Talked on phone with tech 1 day before. He did not mention any extra fees. Then he texted saying we are coming out for free  but there may be a charge to identify what parts need to be replaced. What a joke
3. When i asked how much, texted back USUSALLY 190-259, cost of repair would be additional
4. I complained about the bait and switch 1 week after appointment, and mentioned Angies list reviews. Then their tune was slightly changed if we have to spend time troubleshooting the unit the fee will be in place

I would avoid. The fee should have been mentioned up front, instead of texting me free estimate when the issue with water heater had already been described. Then when homeowner is helpless, describing the fees last minute.
Go with plumbmasters or other that charge fixed 89$ fee and apply it to repairs and are clear about the fees upfront.

This company did the plumbing install on our new house. We had problems from the start. We had out clean out clogged several times. Finally the city came out and ran a camera through the pipe. Their report was shocking and acurate.

The pipe had unnecessary bends, was crushed with a large rock and root, and had a blocked off y fitting in the section. What a joke. Totally Inane...

I called AAA Auger due to a clog we experienced in our upstairs bathroom, the toilet would not flush and the shower would not draining either. The plumbing technician Mr. Charles was here in less than one hour and ready to work; he was courteous and professional. Mr. Charles was very persistent in unclogging the main drain line with the plumbing snake before considering removal of the toilet. His persistence unclogged the main drain line, thereby saving us a lot of money.  Thank you AAA Auger and Mr. Charles.

Horrible service! This man left in the middle of doing the job supposedly to go get a part he needed and never came back. I do not recommend this company or this person.
