Had Texas AC Install a new Variable Speed AC system to replace an aging 15+ year old single stage system with severe duct leaks that were cooling the attic but not the house.

Overall, I'm happy with the unit and 95% of the ductwork. It does the job and the installation looks very professional. Martin is very knowledgeable about the new technology and was very detail oriented. He was able to answer all of my questions. I was happy to see they didn't try to skip out of insulation R value in the ductwork to save money like some other companies do.

I would have given a 5 star rating, however I had to do some demolition work myself over the weekend in order for them to keep their schedule, and they didn't replace a few of the insulation batts that took out to install new registers. I didn't pay for new insulation, but I certainly didn't expect the existing insulation to be worse condition than what I had before, especially since it was between the 2nd floor and attic.

Mike has been my plumber for years except for a period when I lost his phone number and tried the number posted on Yelp.  His business is NOT closed.  It was just my good luck that I ran into him one day and got his number again.  As great a plumber as he is, he simply does not advertise beyond having a business card.  His phone number is 512-626-8036.  Do yourself a favor and hang onto that number.

I would highly recommend Tony to anybody. He is honest, fair and professional.

At first I couldn't afford Tony's bid. But after talking to him about it and splitting up the work and materials we came up with a mutually agreeable contract. He was really easy to talk to and that helps immensely.

I really liked that he showed up in a mask and it took a little longer than expected because of Covid.

Not only was Tony easy to communicate and work with, his crew did an outstanding job. And when he asked me about how I thought it was going, I pointed out a few minor issues that he addressed immediately. He had all of his guys there within the hour to alleviate any and all concerns. He really listened!

I am sure as a plumber, these guys are great. I have no idea though how anyone ever gets in touch with them. I called them for a shower problem I'm having because they are so highly rated. It rang one time and I got I'm sorry, but the person you called has a voicemail box that has not been set up yet... Goodbye! and hung up on.

I checked the number about a dozen times, and same no answer. I'm very disappointed to be honest, I really need some reliable help. Hopefully they fix it, I really could use some plumbing help.

We had a sewer line back up in our front yard - pretty gross.  They came out the same day and the plumber told me that it was the city's line.  He suggested that I call 311 and that the city would fix it for us for free.  Nice, professional and very honest!

Immediately after purchasing a home built in 1955 with original pipes, a pipe leak began.  I was referred to Claude at C&K for the repair work, and I was very impressed with his diagnosis of the problem and approach to repairing it.  Claude showed up right on time and was able to replace and re-run the piping in a very efficient and clean manner.  Claude has since re-piped our laundry room, replacing a majority of the old galvanized steel piping in the house.  I would definitely recommend C&K and will be using them for future plumbing work.

We had what I thought was a leaking hot water heater.  Anthony came out and said that the unit wasn't leaking and I thought uh oh, another home warranty nightmare.  My experience has been that most home warranty vendors would have demanded their trip fee and walked away.  Instead, Anthony went to work and didn't even make me feel bad for mistaking the leak for the water heater.  Without skipping a beat, Anthony went on to track  down the source of the leak (drain line) and had it repaired in no time.  He initially couldn't locate the drain line outside but grabbed a shovel and started digging.  Not only did he resolve our leak, he went on to recommend easy solutions for a couple of items that could potentially cause a problem down the road.  He also took time to explain everything to my Spanish speaking tenants. Fabulous work ethic, knowledgeable and courteous.  Thank you Anthony.

While. I think Cody did a good job replacing plumbing in my hallway bathroom after demolition, he connected the drain hose on the dishwasher to the air vent which meant the drain was open and dumped lots of water behind cabinets.  We didn't notice the leak for about 6 dishwasher loads and by then mold had set in.  It cost over $2,000 to remove and replace damaged wood in cabinets and floor and Cody would not take responsibility.  I am in the process of filing a complaint with the plumbing licensing board.  He was responsive and timely in the beginning of the work but got defensive and blamed his big error on me, the homeowner, who is not licensed or trained on how to make sure a water drain is connected.

Kevin was awesome .. I have a 400 foot run from meter to my house .. Kevin found leak with in a few min of arriving ... He left and I had plumber come fix the leak ... :(  ... only to find that we still had a leak somewhere else .. called Kevin and he came right back with out charging me an additional trip charge.  Leaks were solved and all is good now.  Thanks Kevin for being a real professional.  Bruce and Peggy - Canyon Lake, Tx

Reliable, reasonably priced and solid workmanship. Has done multiple jobs from simple faucet install to complex repair (reconnected bath drain in the slab requiring jack hammering to make a difficult reconnect to fix the leak. Also replaced water heater and replaced copper pipe after a freeze. Highly recommende!

Got a quote for a clogged toilet. Reasonably priced yet booked for the day. Needed service ASAP! The gentleman on the phone gave me two local recommendations! This is what I consider excellent customer service. Even though they were unable to see me, they went above and beyond by giving me local recommendations to resolve my problem. Ross Plumbing was recommended to me by the folks at Glass Well and I'm glad they did. Cody and Clint have taken care of several fairly routine plumbing issues for me and have been prompt, courteous, and reasonable.
More recently I've had a water heater problem. They replaced it but there were still issues. Over a couple of weeks they came out several times (no charge) and tired different solutions. When I mentioned I had a high flow rate on my water softener but no one could find a leak, even the plumbers with fancy technology, Clint ruled out other issues and finally discovered that yes, there was a slab leak from the water heater. We had all been stumped for months, but using reason and the process of elimination, plus his plumbing knowledge, Clint nailed it. Although it will be costly to fix this, at least now I know what the problem is and we can work around it till it's fixed. And if this ends up being a job beyond the scope of what Cody Ross Plumbing does, I will use Leroy Ross (Cody's father), who does construction plumbing.
In summary, they're the best around on all fronts. I cannot rate them high enough for what they've done.

Seriously! I have found my plumber for the rest of the time I live in Elgin (although I hope to never need him again). So it turns out I did not have a slab leak, instead the builder put the water line UNDER the driveway! It is about 1 1/2 feet in. My roommate dug and dug until he found the leak and cleaned the area all around it. I called Mike and let him know what was going on. He went staright out to my house, fixed the leak and called me to tell me it was $100 even and he would just leave me a bill. He also said if I leave him the paperwork from the city to try to recoup some of my super high bill, he would sign it and leave it on the front door.
After speaking to so many plumbers in the past few weeks it is refreshing to know I have a good, honest plumber I can count on from now on!

If I could give Kent and his team at AAA 10 stars, I would! What started as a horrible experience turned into amazing! Kent called me and we talked and they came out and fixed what needed fixed.
I was very impressed with the level of customer service that was shown to us. I spent 5 years working in HVAC and so I am always happy to see this level of service in the trades.
Kent, if I need anything else done, your company will definitely be the first call that I make (after my home warranty, of course)

He did fix my initial problem, but then he talked me into more.  At which point the accounting started getting Really strange.  send me money became a refrain alternated with but I'm saving you so much  I ended up over paying him $1297.  And in stead of just mailing me that money, he wanted to give me a check for the entire amount I had paid and then I woud give him a check for what I owed.  When I told him his check would have to clear before I could give him another check, he has quit calling.  

This seems like a scam to me
