I had to change a conduit for my AC, during the process I managed to break it.  I was pretty sure that it was either a fuse or less likely the transformer, but since it went from working to not working on my watch my wife advised me to look for a grave site or an AC repair man.  I figured it would be easier to find a good repair man.

Fortunately I found one with these guys.  I explained my problem and they repaired it no issues, not only that but they didn't charge, AND with an addition fix I needed (to add insulation) they helped as well.

You can't beat free, esp. when I called Sears (the people who installed it 2 years ago) and they were going to change me minimum $93.60 just to have some dude knock on my door.

Mike has been my plumber for years except for a period when I lost his phone number and tried the number posted on Yelp.  His business is NOT closed.  It was just my good luck that I ran into him one day and got his number again.  As great a plumber as he is, he simply does not advertise beyond having a business card.  His phone number is 512-626-8036.  Do yourself a favor and hang onto that number.

Tony and his crew were amazing and built me a custom closet storage solution exactly to my specifications. The closet space was super weirdly configured, but he and his guys worked with me to make sure they maximized storage space, gave me a rack to hang my long dresses, and even gave me ADJUSTABLE shoe shelves. From quote to completion of the project, Tony made sure I was happy and was constantly ready to go above and beyond to make sure the closet was perfect. He even gave me tips on what paint to use because I wanted to paint it all myself. 10/10 recommend GIS Contracting for any custom cabinetry, shelving, carpentry, or renovation projects!

They turned crappy into clapping. Let's be real. Nobody wants to call a plumber. Not on a Saturday, which is, of course, when all plumbing issues are scheduled to appear, not when you have sewage coming into the house instead of out of it, and especially not when every plumber in town is booked a month in advance because of the winter storm. I called six plumbers, and Plumb Masters were the only ones to answer immediately. Yes, it's more expensive on the weekend, but try telling your SO that we're just going to have to hold it for 48 hours. Anyway, Plumb Masters scheduled Jami to come over right away. He was very clear in what he was going to do and was very well equipped (with gadgets I had never seen) to diagnose the problem. The diagnosis was not good: collapsed drainage pipe. Need to dig. Jami explained the cost differences depending on where the problem was (ranging from 'that's not cheap' to 'let's just walk away from the house and move to the mountains'). Still, Jami used the snake to clear up a bit of the pipe so we could start using the restroom again immediately! They scheduled to come back and do the work on Monday. This time Jami was working with Jordan, and this dynamic duo of drainage doctors took to the front yard to locate the broken pipe. When they finally located it, it turned out that roots had gotten in through a screw-top lid that the builder didn't put cement on. The pipe was not burst or collapsed, so Jami and Jordan called me outside, they talked to their office and discounted the heck out of the original quote. They cleared out the roots in the pipe and cemented the lid so it never happens again. I really appreciated the honesty as well as the care they took to mark the hole so people wouldn't fall into it while the cement dried. A few days later Jami and Jordan came back and closed everything up in a matter of minutes with no fuss. I do recommend you call them and have them quote you for the repair, even over the weekend. They were fast, clearly know what they're doing, and when natured called they answered.

Lanier Plumbing has saved the day for us many times. I realize people go on Yelp to complain so I wanted to make sure to give praise when praise is so well deserved. We've used C&K Plumbing ever since a friend (and a contractor) recommended them to us several years ago, and are always so incredibly impressed by their amazing customer service and expertise.  Of late we've had some particularly complicated issues, and they've gotten to the bottom of each and every single one.  We're incredibly grateful to them and couldn't recommend them more highly.

I didn't use Supreme plumbing for my hot water heater emergency. They contacted me within 2 hours of me texting. This was on a Sunday morning at 7a. They were the 2nd plumber to contact me. Went with the first, which responded in one hour. I will have them at the top of my list for any future plumbing emergencies.

Reliable, reasonably priced and solid workmanship. Has done multiple jobs from simple faucet install to complex repair (reconnected bath drain in the slab requiring jack hammering to make a difficult reconnect to fix the leak. Also replaced water heater and replaced copper pipe after a freeze. Highly recommende!

I spoke with three plumbers and chose Butch at Marshall Plumbing for his knowledge over the other two highly recommended plumbers.  He was the lowest bid on a job involving 13 individually owned condos.  He was on time, very professional and all of the owners were very satisfied with his work on an older property.  He did such a good job he was asked back the next week to install four additional toilets.  He charged us a lower rate than expected and actually provided some parts and much knowledge at no extra charge.  I will use him again on larger commercial or small residential jobs.

My Water Heater went out 12/27/2021. I called Ross Plumbing as recommended by a friend and the recording asked me to text the number with my information and the issue.  Cody contacted me that evening. I sent him a few pictures and explained the issue. He gave me a fair price and said he would move things around and get to it the next day if i approved of the price. I agreed.
He and a helper were at my house the next morning at around nine with the new Water Heater and were finished in very short order. My wife and I were impressed with his willingness and professionalism to answer any questions we had about the current job and any other questions we had about other issues in the house. I highly recommend Cody and Ross Plumbing.

Seriously! I have found my plumber for the rest of the time I live in Elgin (although I hope to never need him again). So it turns out I did not have a slab leak, instead the builder put the water line UNDER the driveway! It is about 1 1/2 feet in. My roommate dug and dug until he found the leak and cleaned the area all around it. I called Mike and let him know what was going on. He went staright out to my house, fixed the leak and called me to tell me it was $100 even and he would just leave me a bill. He also said if I leave him the paperwork from the city to try to recoup some of my super high bill, he would sign it and leave it on the front door.
After speaking to so many plumbers in the past few weeks it is refreshing to know I have a good, honest plumber I can count on from now on!

David C., Your people already let me know in no uncertain terms that I will never win in court because I can't prove they did anything.  I'm really glad you put in writing that they turned off my water. When we parted ways your manager was screaming that I had done it myself. I've read your other bad reviews. I guess this is just par for the course with your business.  Your people were late more than once, they were disrespectful, and I did have to have another company come fix what your guys caused. I don't see how my review is unfair.  By the way, I HAD to get my water fixed. Your guys blew up my softener (4 years old) and left us with 0 running water in the entire home.  All pipes were clogged with resin.  He thought we had a main break. He went from faucet to faucet turning them on and watching them clog because he had no idea what he had done by cranking on and off my water 15-20 times.  He even told me he couldn't believe my softener didn't have a bypass valve. Well it does. The next 2 plumbers I called knew what had been done within 30 seconds.  They showed me how to put the bypass on and how the original repair could have been done by turning the water off at the h20 heater itself. He never needed to turn the water off at the street.  I had 0 water for 2 days. Your crew of bullies blamed me and wanted to charge $700 to clear the lines. They said I would need to buy the new water softener and heaters that were then filled with Resin!  The tiny little repair turned into one big nightmare.  Your guy said it was just a coincidence that my water softener blew up on their second visit!  While they were turning my water on and off!  Why on earth would I PAY your guys to repair it?  Is that the scam?  Break stuff and charge to fix it?  Your comments about shirking responsibility just aren't true. All y'all had to do was fix it. If I hadn't told your plumber what was wrong, he still wouldn't have known. He was at my house for 7 hours using a compressor to blow out my lines individually. Problem was when he would turn the water on, they would re fill with resin. He hadn't bypassed the now broken water softener. It was a night of madness. They made a huge mess of water in every room they were in. Knowing what I know now, their blowing efforts were futile! Other plumbers laugh when I tell them how your 2 guys blew line after line not knowing Resin was in the lines.  It literally took the next plumber 30 seconds to know what was going on.  The next plumber after that took 30 seconds. I wanted to see if he could figure it out. How does a licensed plumber not know this???  Y'all keep challenging me to take you to the plumbing board. I will file a complaint because I'm not sure your guys were really licensed plumbers. We have filed with the BBB.  Your guy let me know that I'll never win because I can't prove you did anything. At least you now agree your guy shut the water off. They literally screamed at me saying I did it myself. That I had turned off and on my water. I don't even know how to do that!

Horrible service! This man left in the middle of doing the job supposedly to go get a part he needed and never came back. I do not recommend this company or this person.
