Texas AC saved our hide when our 14 year old HVAC system went out - on a Sunday and during the first 3 digit weather days we were having. Of course, right? Could there be a worse time? They answered our first panicked email promptly and had someone out the next morning. They presented us with several options as to what to do. We ended up going with replacing the unit since it was so old and we'd already repaired it a few times. They gave us several options of different brands and different price tiers. There were no strong arm sales tactics. Once we made our choice, the installation was scheduled for that same day. The 3 guys that came to install were polite and hard working. They laid down drop cloths to keep our floors clean. They cleaned up everything at the end. They were even very nice to my elderly dog who was interested in what was going on. Afterwards the office helped out by filling out the warranty rebates for the city of Austin and for the manufacturer. It's never pleasant losing your AC in the summer and then having to pay for a new HVAC. Texas AC helped us have the best experience out of an unpleasant one. Our new system is great! Mike has been my plumber for years except for a period when I lost his phone number and tried the number posted on Yelp.  His business is NOT closed.  It was just my good luck that I ran into him one day and got his number again.  As great a plumber as he is, he simply does not advertise beyond having a business card.  His phone number is 512-626-8036.  Do yourself a favor and hang onto that number.

I can't take back my 1 star review on Gis contracting but I will give Tony and his team a good review on cleaning up that project.   Also the labor charge wasn't 150k in labor, I checked what I paid him and it was more in the 130k range.  However I will say ensure the job you give him is managed by Tony and no one else.  The job I posted previously was mismanaged.  Tony did come back and fix it, I was very frustrated overall but if Tony would have personally managed it, I do believe it would have come out better.  Ensure to have specific, measurable, and realistic exceptions with GIS contracting and I wish GIS contracting the best.

Josh was amazing! He found a way to fix our toilet that didn't require expensive parts and labor. And we have had 3 different plumbers look at our slow draining, sometimes leaking bathroom sink and Josh was the first one to find a long term fix. He also quickly and cheaply solved a problem with the kitchen sink caused by another plumber. He was fast, clean, and kind. I've definitely found my go-to plumbing company!!!

Lanier Plumbing just took care of our water heater issue. Dave was friendly, polite, and very professional. They solved the issue quickly and it was not expensive at all. Now we have hot water again! I'd definitely recommend them to you.

since when do you need to pay for work that was not accomplished?!
2 guys came over to replace a toilet, which they did, and to replace a flash assist unit in another toilet.  they could not do it because the new unit didn't fit.  i do not pay for your time mister!  i pay for work done and accomplished!  the only reason i paid them $165 for nothing,  is because i was in a good mood this morning.  i hired many plumbers and other people of the trade for many many years, this scammers need to learn more about integrity!  if you looking for a decent company to do your plumbing, please look elsewhere!  this c&k is not even worth looking into.

AND NO!!  i don't remember what we spoke about few weeks ago!  you should have sent to me your contract  before your crew showed up today!   i certainly don't appreciate your nasty attitude and low level of professionalism!  people like you don't deserve to be in business!  Go back and do your business in flugerville,  we in austin have lots of better plumbers than you will ever be!  WE DON'T NEED YOU HERE!!

Kevin and Precision Leak Detection are probably the best company you could call on if you are experiencing a water leak and aren't able to locate it or sure where to turn. We had a water leak at our house that was most likely located in our slab (as it was not showing itself anywhere else and we could hear the water running/see meter running). We were unsure who to call or what to do as we knew costs on something like this can easily skyrocket and we wanted to be smart about how we went about handling this. The first plumbers we called out couldn't find anything and recommended we wait to let the leak show itself (not a good idea) and other plumbers we spoke to could only start opening walls and tearing through things to search for it. Another leak detection company was extremely expensive and booked weeks out. Kevin was so knowledgeable and experienced that we were quickly confident we made the right decision. He was able to locate the main leak in our slab pretty quickly and help us talk through some ideas for repair with a plumber. He uses a lot of different tools that help him locate the leak/lines/manifolds with the least amount of invasiveness to your property. Once we made that necessary repair we later discovered we had a second slab leak and Kevin went above and beyond to work with us on coming back out to locate that. He was patient, thorough, never did we feel that he was in a rush to leave and just really cared that we were able to identify the problem and again talk through some ideas for repairs. He gave us some guidance and walked us through some steps over the phone to help us out. We were extremely anxious about the whole process and cost to get to the bottom of our problem, as we've had a lot of other unexpected costs recently, and Kevin and Precision Leak Detection were just the right team we were supposed to cross paths with. We know without a doubt we would not have gotten the same level of service and care from another company. Reliable, reasonably priced and solid workmanship. Has done multiple jobs from simple faucet install to complex repair (reconnected bath drain in the slab requiring jack hammering to make a difficult reconnect to fix the leak. Also replaced water heater and replaced copper pipe after a freeze. Highly recommende!

I believe I had a frozen pipe during the cold spell last week.  Since just moving to Texas I did not know anything about the plumbing in my home.  I called early in the morning and spoke to John, we was so helpful in explaining about the plumbing in my home and the options I had. I ended up calling 3 times with more questions, he was so patient and responsive.  I will definitely depend on American Eagle with any future plumbing issues.

Seriously! I have found my plumber for the rest of the time I live in Elgin (although I hope to never need him again). So it turns out I did not have a slab leak, instead the builder put the water line UNDER the driveway! It is about 1 1/2 feet in. My roommate dug and dug until he found the leak and cleaned the area all around it. I called Mike and let him know what was going on. He went staright out to my house, fixed the leak and called me to tell me it was $100 even and he would just leave me a bill. He also said if I leave him the paperwork from the city to try to recoup some of my super high bill, he would sign it and leave it on the front door.
After speaking to so many plumbers in the past few weeks it is refreshing to know I have a good, honest plumber I can count on from now on!

He did fix my initial problem, but then he talked me into more.  At which point the accounting started getting Really strange.  send me money became a refrain alternated with but I'm saving you so much  I ended up over paying him $1297.  And in stead of just mailing me that money, he wanted to give me a check for the entire amount I had paid and then I woud give him a check for what I owed.  When I told him his check would have to clear before I could give him another check, he has quit calling.  

This seems like a scam to me
