John, from Colony Home, was such a lifesaver. He was so knowledgable when it came to two separate water issues we had- he helped with everything from the mitigation to repair. His team on-site was kind and trustworthy.  His office team was organized and responsive. I would recommend John over and over again!

American Plumbing's Felix Griffin and his son, Felix Jr., have been our plumbers of choice for decades. They call you back right away and come out as soon as possible. Felix is a character, but the good kind of character . . . easy to laugh, but knows his stuff, top to bottom.

If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Saul was very professional and performed the work in a timely manner. We have dealt with many lawn care companies over the past few years but JNS is by far the best! Saul texted 10 minute prior to his appointment time, he took the time to check the system and quoted me prior to replacing items. Him and his team fixed everything at the same initial appointment. Thanks for your help!

Mike was very knowledgeable in imparting detailed knowledge in exactly what needed to be done.  He also was very personable and prompt.  I highly recommend this company, as well as this particular employee.

I want to post a follow up on my previous post.  Doug, the owner,  called and discussed my experience.  Honest man.  Good listener.  Stand up guy.  I felt he was totally objective and understood what happened.  I can't believe he is refunding my money.  He said something Marty never could say - they got this wrong.  Plus, they will honor the warranty on the pump.  Who does that?  Doug the Plumber does that!  Unheard of in today's business climate.  Will I use them again?  yes!  WillI recommend them?  Yes!
I still have to find an electrician to do the work, but Doug gave me a referral for Easons.

Me. Plumber did an outstanding job today for an extremely reasonable price.  I am very satisfied with the quality of their work and the care they took with my house.  Very highly recommend these guys.  Formerly Steve's Plumbing!  Rosendo and his helper are awesome for sure.

What can I say besides this has been the best company I have worked for. The office staff is wonderful and always happy. The owner Ldon was there always when I had a question and would work right beside you. I truly had a wonderful time working here. They truly value their clients and the personnel. I can only give this company one star because after a week of asking for a quotation for work to be done, and being promised i would have the prices the next day, I gave up.

This company has great reviews, and probably does a great job if and when they have the time. If you need to have something done within a certain period of time , i would look elsewhere.

Everyone I called was completely booked for weeks, Tony came out within 30 minutes of me calling him. I had a 45 degree plastic pipe under the ground in my front yard break and my front yard was completely soaked. He came out assessed the problem and had his son come out and fix it for me within an hour it was fixed, and for a very reasonable price. I will always recommend these guys! Awesome work, great price  who could ask for more?

I just had 1st Plumbing Services come to give me an estimate on what I thought was a simple task (remove a water softener from my house's input water line). I can do this job in less than 2 hours. 1PS wanted $429.34 to do what they estimated to be a 1-1.5 hour job. YIKES! When I complained about the excessive fee, they brought it down to only $388.34. I guess times have changed, but I didn't know that plumbers (with company overhead) now go for a rate of $250-300/hour. I paid my $45 fee for the service call, and cut my losses.

By the way, if you want a good independent plumber in Austin who works for a reasonable hourly charge, and charges minimal overhead (e.g. travel), then I recommend Gilbert at Blue Dragon Plumbing.

I'm going to update this review because the real issue here was the wrong device sold to us for the city that we live in. We found out that the water in our city has chloramine, with that said the product sold to us was to remove chloride which in other cities that's the norm. By having a system that only removes chloride it breaks the chloramine, leaving the ammonia in the water. The product would have worked perfect in a place where the water only has chloride but it was more harm than good for a place that has chloramine. That is the reason our hair started to fall out in chunks and had dry skin. I suggest that moving forward you do a thorough research of the area before selling the product, to ensure this doesn't happen to someone else.

***SCAM ALERT!!!!!*** This company sold me on their sonar leak detection services at 400/hr.  The guys sat on the ground at the water main w/o any special equipment and then after an hour (and a 400.00 bill) told me he couldn't hear anything it was too windy.  He was also supposed to fix my leaking shower faucet but told me he wasn't qualified to do that repair either.

I hired an irrigation company and they fixed the problem outdoor leak in 20 min.

Alright... the verdict is in. I've used Radiant Plumbing for all my plumbing needs in my house. So, when I needed my new sink and gas stove hooked up I had them come to the house...

Quote? 700 dollars.

I almost fainted.

I sent Radiant away... I paid their dispatch fee and started looking for another plumber. Eventually (see my other review) I found a plumber for 180 dollars and he did the same quality of work I've experienced with Radiant. The difference is that I kept my 500 dollars.

This made me reconsider all of the plumbing jobs I've hired Radiant for. Radiant had to dig up my yard... it cost me 2000 dollars. If they charge 3-4 times more than other plumbers in town, does that mean I would be 1,000 dollars richer? OUCH

Radiant is a great company, they're nice, professional, and do good work. You will not be disappointed by the work done by Radiant...but, you may wonder why a simple job such as re-hooking up a sink cost 700 dollars.

My suggestion is to call as many plumbers as possible when getting work done. Prices range from plumber to plumber... and Radiant Plumbing is one of the more expensive plumber in Austin.
