It's always a pain when your AC blows up in the middle of summer. Overall I do feel the HVAC servicing pricing in the Austin area is getting pretty expensive. I think it's going about $200+ an hour (in terms of effort as parts are usually cheap) But the worst part is being cheated or lied to.

Thanks to Floyd and Honest AC, you have someone you can trust. Honest is the right name for their company.
We hired them twice over a weekend and both times the problem was solved quickly for a reasonable price. Floyd was able to find the issue, gave us a clear diagnosis  and not a complicated roundabout reasoning. He was able to fix the issue on the same day.
We accidentally had tripped the AC circuit by switching the circuit breaker during a hot summer day. The outside unit wasn't getting any power. I had googled what the issue could be (capacitor died) and Floyd came back and told me the exact same thing. This is always a good validation because several times I have HVAC companies trying to over complicate the problem and sell me a new coil or replace the whole system.
They schedule professionally, are punctual  take all kinds of payments, paperless, invoice properly and are very professional.
Definitely give them a chance.

Plumber Near me replaced our water heater cheaper than any other quotes we received! They were extremely professional, wore booties to protect our flooring and did amazing job. The response time was 20 mins and were able to service our home same day. I highly recommend Plumber Near Me and will use them in the future for all our plumbing needs. We are planning to do a remodel of our kitchen and Plumber Near Me will be the first call we make!!

Ray did an amazing job extending a gas line for a generator. He was prompt and fast doing the work. Great communication! I highly recommend him.

I called at 3pm on a Friday and they were at my house by 4pm. Lee was professional and kind. He and his apprentice quickly found the issue and had it fixed very quickly. The end cost was actually less than originally quoted. This company and Lee as their representative are fully trustworthy. I would absolutely recommend them to everyone.

Al is awesome. They showed up quickly in a busy week, did the job fast, and for a fair price. Were also careful with Covid and cleaned up. Will definitely hire them again when needed.

Our faucet under our bathroom sink sprung a leak on Xmas morning. Such a bummer. Called multiple plumbers in the area on Monday morning. The only ones who answered their phone was Proficient Plumbing. They answered quickly and were able to send over someone at 4:30 SAME DAY!  

The plumber named Chris  arrived as scheduled and worked for2 hours to completely repair the leak. He was such a nice, pleasant gentlemen
who thoroughly explained the repair and did a great job. Will call you again and recommend you to others.

On Monday morning we were scrambling to find a plumber who could help with a gas leak AND a leaking toilet (happy Monday!!) and all the plumbers were of course dealing with very busy schedules. But Christian called me back, moved his schedule around and came to address the gas leak!!!! Bless him!!! He showed up 5 minutes after we talked and solved my problem, thoroughly checking all of the gas lines in our house. By the time he left we were able to go back in and breathe!!

He also fixed our toilet and gave us all sorts of solutions and tips.

Christian is my new favorite plumber and I totally recommend him!

I called Osborn plumbing to rework all the plumbing in a house that we are do a complete remodel job. Every person that has worked at the house is very professional and does very good work.  The price quoted was reasonable, the company adheres to code, even if it is not a requirement.  They do not cut corners which is very important. They will work hard and fast and they are very busy as a company but they show up timely to work.  Additionally, Roger who met with me to do the quote referred me to K&M Contracting to be the General contractor on the job and that company is just is outstanding as Osborn Plumbing. I am so very thankful to have met both of these companies as we are thrilled with the quality of work, the price, the quick timeline and they are a pleasure to work with on the remodel!!

Johnny arrived on the day and time specified. I showed him what we needed done. He had a quote for me within 10 minutes. The quote was well within my estimated budget figure so I agreed to the work. He had to travel to the hardware store to get the adapters he needed. Even with the extra time for travel the job was completed in just at two hours. We now have a new faucet and catch basins in the kitchen sink. Excellent work and very friendly.

Lewis was prompt, courteous, professional and quick. Also quoted the lowest price of all the handyman services I requested quotes from. Will definitely hire him again as needed.

Kinda  an emergency, needed yard mowed quick.   Martinez Services call texted back in minutes on memorial day weekend.  He got over in a couple of hours on a saturday.  Due to appointment running late had to leave him money out.  He is very honest, did work.  Great job, stayed in contact, sent pictures.  Great guy, great lawn guy.  Top notch.  Hard worker.

Waynes Plumbing is fast, affordable and quick. Wayne came in, gave us an estimate that was lower than the other guys, completed the work in under 45 minutes. They were clean, polite, friendly and they cleaned up after themselves. What more can you ask for?

I hired Don and his team to install a new kitchen sink as well as a kitchen faucet. He did a fantastic job and communicated extremely well throughout the booking process and had very fair pricing compared to others I spoke with. His schedule was also flexible to be able to get to my project quickly. I was so happy with his work that I hired him to replace a water heater and also install for bathroom sink faucets. I have been extremely pleased with all of their work and will be hiring them in the future and recommending them to friends and family! Thank you Don and team!

Huge shout-out to Neighborhood Plumbing and Drain - Eric came in and fixed my elderly mom's weak kitchen faucet, fixed some broken handles in the master bathroom and was done in less than 10 minutes, free of charge.  We need to support this local business, as when the joys of home ownership starts to add up (yes, post-snowpocalypse 2021), you really just want the pro's who know what they are doing and do good by you.  And they do.  Give them a ring.  You will not be sorry!  Great big hug to them!

I had a problem that they actually helped me fix myself instead of charging me. The owner took the time to walk me through how to do it. They easily could have sent someone over to do it, pretend like it was a lot of work, and then charge me $50, but no, they didn't do that. These guys seem like genuinely good and honest people, and the next time I have any sort of plumbing issue, I'm going to give them my business from now on.

After a length phone conversation about the cost I did not get any satisfactory reason why they added so many extra charges on a part they just left behind.

The Plumber who arrived at my apt was knowledge and friendly. However if you're doing an insurance and or a home warranty claim I would avoid this Plumber at all costs.

This is due to what appears to be predatory Bussiness practices, or a gross negligence of their billing practices

I submitted a call to Daniels Plumbing on Friday Dec 23rd. I was able to confirm an appointment with them for service on Monday Dec 25th. I was calling due to pipes bursting in my bathroom.

I was sadly disappointed on Monday when they informed me they were overbooked with emergencies and canceled my appointment and rebooked me for Thursday. I understood there were a lot of emergencies that were probably more urgent then my water that I stopped leaking, so I had little concern this with.

However my issue came up once they arrived at my condo for the repair. They provided a 2k estimate, and I shared at that time that I wanted to provide it to my insurance, and Home warranty for review prior to paying.

After submitting it too travelers(Insurance), and Old republic(Home Warranty). Both of them requested itemized estimates explaining the labor and part costs.

Daniel has been unable to provide this after 3 days of consistent calls, when contacting their scheduling team one agent was able to contact a manager and insisted a GM or customer care manager would contact me. Another agent told me there was nothing they could do.

The root concerns from my Insurance and the home warranties is prices that cannot be justified, and that seems to be the case with Daniel being unable to provide a breakdown of the charges for parts and or labor.

Dear Daniel management team, You should have multiple notes with contact information for my Home Warranty, and my insurance and their requests.

If not please feel free to contact me and hopefully we can resolve this in a timely manner.
