I have a home warranty in effect but as is sometimes the case, the repairman they sent out gave me the run around; I called with some questions just to get some expert advice and Brady referred me to Don, who was very knowledgeable and helpful. I got the info I needed without the sales pitch.

I interviewed several plumbers when considering who to hire for a fairly extensive remodel on our 1950's Central Austin home. I chose Henderson Plumbing because the owner (Dave Henderson) was the most responsive to my calls and emails. He also gave me a thorough bid upfront, so that there were no surprises.

I'm glad I selected Henderson Plumbing for our remodel. Dave did a fantastic job at our home and was ALWAYS on-time. In fact, he usually arrived a few minutes BEFORE our scheduled appointment time. Also, because Dave lives in the neighborhood, he understands the complexities of the older homes. Dave is efficient, but does not do a rush job.

Since then, Dave has answered any questions promptly. We are currently looking at installing a dishwasher (the house didn't come with one). Dave was willing to look at my choices and give me a recommendation on a dishwasher.

On top of everything else, Dave is very personable, making him a joy to work with.

Abel came by on short notice and fixed a leaky heat exchanger. Cleaned up and did a fantastic job, attention to detail was great.

Update to my last review: Braulio has blown my wife and me off twice since he installed our toilet at the start of the pandemic. That toilet, by the way, has been sliding across the floors by a couple inches, and he ignored my recent message asking if he could take a look at it.

In that message, I also requested a quote for help with a toilet/plumbing issue (in a different bathroom) and a fridge water dispenser problem.

He ignored everything except to say he can't fix the fridge thing. I guess he's busy, but the half response-brush-off was rude.

We first met Jaime about 8 years ago when he was hired by our contractor to do the plumbing for a new addition on our central Austin home.  He did all the work for a new master bath, added a tankless water heater and removed old cast iron plumbing from our 1940s home.  Two years later he came back to reroute the plumbing in our guest bath.  He did great work with both jobs and we never had any issues while we lived there.

In 2019, I referred him to a friend who was experiencing a plumbing emergency at his rental.  My friend was super impressed with Jaime's responsiveness and work and was incredibly thankful to have found an honest, trustworthy plumber to help out during an incredibly stressful time.

And in February 2021, we had a pipe break in our new home after the major freeze.  We were panicked that we wouldn't be able to get it fixed timely since it seemed like everyone else in Austin was dealing with the same issue, but Jaime came to the rescue the next day and fixed the busted pipe.

In the 8 years we have called on Jaime, every single experience was top notch. I don't know what I appreciate the most about him: his professionalism, the prompt communication, the excellent work or how wonderfully nice and pleasant he is. The fact that we have been able to call on him to work on every single home we have owned in Austin really speaks volumes about the quality of his business and his work.  Thank you, Jaime, for always being there for us when we need you. You are the best!!!

I shopped for weeks to find a good reliable plumber. Jim is very honest and really wants the best for your project. I had many plumbers give me outrageous bids and try to take advantage of me. It's very hard when you're a single woman, and not familiar with the questions to ask or really know what the truth is. Jim will explain everything and you can tell he has a passion for what he does. Not only would you get a good plumber, you'll get a very honest one. Which now a days doesn't happen very often.

We love Stan's.  We had some issues before we moved into our new home.  They were so good to us then and continue to be.  If only every company had this kind of customer service and level of competency.  As a side note, Michelle is exceptional.  Thank you for being a company we can depend on and trust.

I was referred to Plumb Doctors by Lanier Plumbing as Lanier no longer does renovations. These days, it's tough to find a tradesman who has integrity, and shows up on the day they say they're going to. Andrew K. was very clear in communicating he would call before he headed over.

I thought his prices were reasonable. He charged $218 for fifty minutes of labor including parts, and re - seated my toilet which my handyman had improperly installed ten months ago. Andrew K. was very thorough, as my toilet was now planar, cut the long screws, and secured the screw covers. He even gave me a free consultation on my upcoming renovation so I was able to kill two birds with one stone.

He plans on purchasing a scanner for rebar and tension poles next year so I won't have to go through Texas Curb Cut.

Very thankful to Kirk and Wyatt for the prompt and excellent customer service, at a much better price than others quoted me!  Also kudos to the woman answering the phone who is always quick to respond and very friendly.  My water heater flooded my garage and laundry room and Kirk came out the same day I called to remove the water heater and tie off the line.  Once I had the closet dried out with sheetrock replaced, Wyatt came out to replace the water heater and even installed combo fire/carbon monoxide detectors inside my house to bring it up to code.  I called them again to help restore water pressure due to lime scale build up and again they were out the same day, and helped clear a blockage in a bathroom sink as well.  Fantastic people with excellent customer service.  They will be my go to plumbers going forward.

Jeff Plunkett came out and fixed a copper pipe leak next to my Taco recirculation pump.  Jeff did a great job!  I highly recommend him.  I have never written a review before.  I was so impressed with his service and reasonable prices that I had to write this review.  He is a Master Plumber who knows what he is doing.  He spent a lot of time with me to discuss and help me resolve other plumbing related issues I had.  He also rerouted some plumbing for me while he was here.  His prices are reasonable, his work is excellent.  If you need a plumber call Jeff.  I met Jeff for the first time today so this review is only based on the great work he did for me today.  Thanks, Jeff!

We selected Pure Plumbing after a Yelp search and reaching out via email for quotes. Mark was a professional, pleasant and respectful. He showed up and took care of business - we were fortunate in having a quick fix. Highly recommend Pure Plumbing Service for anyone in need.

Contacted Olvin through yelp to get a quote. Same day he was out to see the site to give a quote. Had the quote the next day.

He did the job while being responsive and mindful of being in someone else's home. I very much recommend. His work is top notch.

Scott is very professional and responsive. I got the quote from Yelp within 20mins, scheduled the appointment the next day. It took him 20mins to fix the broken pipe from the ice storm, also he insulated the pipe because they are exposed outdoor. Really nicely done.

Nick is the only plumber I will call from now on.  He does a perfect job and is so courteous.  He has been in the business for many years and will always be reliable.  I am highly impressed with his work !!!

Thanks so much for helping us out, Geronimo!  We hired Geronimo to replace our bathroom fixtures in two bathrooms. He arrived quickly after our Yelp conversation only to let us know that we bought the wrong fixtures for our plumbing configuration.  He told us what to buy, and we agreed that he would come back two days later.  Two days later, Geronimo arrived again as planned and beautifully installed our new shower and bath fixtures.  

Also, we tacked on two toilet repairs, which he also tackled.  

Hopefully Geronimo won't hear from us for a while, but I've got his card should we have any other plumbing needs

My garbage disposal didn't work so I called to a schedule a fix. He told me before we scheduled anything, to try pushing the reset button on the disposal. I didn't know they had reset buttons. That fixed the issue at no charge. 5 stars for integrity!

Emilio and Grace were great from start to finish. They responded immediately to my inquiry when I was looking for a plumber and gave me plenty of notice to get home from work for my appointment. They were kind and respectful of my home. They fixed my sink quickly and I felt very comfortable with them in my home. I also did not feel pressured to go with any additional services. I would definitely call them again in the future if I have an issues. Thank you both!

They were able to make room in their schedule for me very quickly and were even kind enough to call and see if I wanted them to come sooner (I did) when someone else cancelled. They quickly identified that the leak was actually a backed up drain pipe from me A/C. They cleared the pipe for me, helped me fix it so that it wouldn't happen again, kindly pointed out that I needed to clean out my dryer vent soon, and vacuumed out all the water that had accumulated. They were very punctual and professional. They're one of a very few businesses that I have saved into my phone to contact again in the future if I have problems. I highly recommend them!
