This is really a four and a half star review.  We have used A & T plumbing about 3 years ago to fix a water pipe leak UNDER ourdriveway and they did a great job (5 stars).

We had another water leak (in a different part of the driveway and not related to the repair 3 yrs ago). We called them out and I had to deduct something because the first plumber they sent was really bad and in WAY over his head.  He actually made things worse.  It turns out he had recently started with the company and had moved to Texas and over sold his credentials to the company.  It happens, I get it.  Sometimes, people aren't what they say they are.

Bad stuff happens all the time, but it's how you address the problems and fix it that is more important.

Don, the supervisor, took over and got it fixed.  Despite the rest of the plumbers on jobs and booked out over 1 week, he was able to get a team of people to come over and ultimately fix the issue.  Don himself was out here late on a weekend evening when an emergency issue happened (from the first guy) and he took care of it.  So, the way Don and A&T plumbing took ownership of the initial mistake and fixed the issue was really commendable.

Hopefully, we will not need them in the future, but if we do, we will be using A&T for our plumbing needs.

David was quick, friendly, and professional. Our tub drain was clogged and he saved us with his plumbing magic. If I ever have another plumbing issue, I will definitely give David a call. Or a message. He was the most responsive and clear communicator via the Yelp app out of all of the plumbers I messaged. Thank you David!

I recently hired Abel to replace my water heater. He came the same day I called him to give me an estimate. He initially told me he could replace my water heater later that day but I hesitated to get additional quotes. His bid was lower and more reasonable than multiple other people and he did the job well.  I texted him a few days later and he came that same day to replace my water heater. He is reliable and communicates well. Nice guy and considerate too - he always wore shoe covers in my house and didn't ring the doorbell because my baby was sleeping. He was very patient when answering all of my questions and then answering my husband's questions by phone since he was at work. I highly recommend Abel to Plumb and will call Abel for all my future plumbing needs!

What a dream. Braulio was responsive, professional, transparent, efficient and supportive. He fixed our burst water pop quickly, helped make sure there weren't any other leaks, and provided some other general guidance to make us feel safer in our home. Will absolutely be the first person I call for future plumbing needs.

We first met Jaime about 8 years ago when he was hired by our contractor to do the plumbing for a new addition on our central Austin home.  He did all the work for a new master bath, added a tankless water heater and removed old cast iron plumbing from our 1940s home.  Two years later he came back to reroute the plumbing in our guest bath.  He did great work with both jobs and we never had any issues while we lived there.

In 2019, I referred him to a friend who was experiencing a plumbing emergency at his rental.  My friend was super impressed with Jaime's responsiveness and work and was incredibly thankful to have found an honest, trustworthy plumber to help out during an incredibly stressful time.

And in February 2021, we had a pipe break in our new home after the major freeze.  We were panicked that we wouldn't be able to get it fixed timely since it seemed like everyone else in Austin was dealing with the same issue, but Jaime came to the rescue the next day and fixed the busted pipe.

In the 8 years we have called on Jaime, every single experience was top notch. I don't know what I appreciate the most about him: his professionalism, the prompt communication, the excellent work or how wonderfully nice and pleasant he is. The fact that we have been able to call on him to work on every single home we have owned in Austin really speaks volumes about the quality of his business and his work.  Thank you, Jaime, for always being there for us when we need you. You are the best!!!

Hands down the best and fairest plumber in Austin and surrounding area.  Jim worked long and hard to repair our sewer line and was priced 20% below the next lowest competitor. He does excellent work and is always smiling. He showed up on time and finished ahead of schedule.

Our downstairs A/C unit stopped cooling last night. I went outside and saw that the condenser unit wasn't kicking on, just giving a low electric hum. I found Stan's Heating and Air recommended on my HOA's message board, so I filled out the contact form on their website and went to bed. This morning, the operator who called me to schedule my appointment was very nice and courteous. She let me know how much the service call would be and that they wouldn't be able to make it until late in the afternoon. That was cool with me so we schedule my appointment.

The technician arrived earlier than expected, which was nice, and went to diagnosing the equipment. He said he found a bad run capacitor and tried a new one he had on the truck. No go; the compressor still didn't kick on. He tried installing a hard start kit on top of the new capacitor; still nothing. He said that the compressor was shot (without removing the shroud/fan and actually testing it) and said either we needed a new compressor, condenser unit replacement, or as he recommended, an entire new unit.

I went ahead and paid for the service call and discussed the situation with my wife. We were not satisfied with the level of troubleshooting that took place on the call (the breaker box cover was not completely sealed back shut either), so she got the name of another company from one of our close neighbors down the street. We called them over to get a second opinion.

When that technician arrived, we found that the old capacitor was not put back in the unit during the previous service call! He had no way to determine himself that the capacitor was bad or not. But, he knew the unit didn't have one so he wen to his truck and got one out. He installed the capacitor, flipped the breaker and voila! The compressor kicked on and the unit was up and running.

I am very disappointed with the service I received from Stan's and want my service call payment refunded. They did not diagnose the issue correctly and immediately jumped to up sell a new unit.

Had an issue with the pressure relief valve and they came out same day and gave me a fair estimate to fix it.  They followed through on the appointment date and the service was great.  Their plumber tech is a veteran and a solid and knowledgeable guy.  I had a follow up issue and they responded same day again and gave me options.  Great service and the prices were fair.  Thank you.

Our 18-year-old conventional gas water heater was finally giving out, so we called Plumb & Order to on a Monday to talk about getting it looked at and possibly replaced. They sent a technician out that Wednesday morning who patiently answered all of our questions and quoted us on a repair and a replacement. After calling a few other local places, Plumb & Order had the best rate and one of the best brands, so we booked them for the replacement that same afternoon, and their crew was done within a couple hours. It's amazing how quickly we were able to get everything done, and they offer a 5-year warranty on parts and labor too. Highly recommended!

If I could rate more than 5 stars, I would!  Ted and his team are rock stars!!

I was referred to Thunderbird Plumbing about two years ago and Ted has always done a great job at my Austin property - shows up on time, is smart, professional, and personable.

I didn't think their service area included Dripping Springs, so after trying to get three other local companies to help with a drainage issue for a property there, I casually mentioned my frustration to Ted while he was doing some repairs in Austin.  He said he'd come take a look.

Well, yesterday morning he not only showed up ahead of schedule, he brought a whole crew so that if we agreed on the price they could make the repairs.  I was thrilled that I wouldn't have to wait any longer to be able to use the shower!  The team, Don & Son Plumbing, worked tirelessly, were very polite, and even cleaned up afterwards.

I really appreciate Ted's personal and proactive approach to his work.  I usually call for one specific thing and then remember 12 others while he's here and he just takes it all in stride and gets it done.

Mark is an excellent plumber.  He was professional in diagnosing my issue then methodical in approaching the installation of the new part.

They did a good job. Olvin was responsive, readily available. Installation was hassle free. Quote was reasonable.

I was able to get an estimate for a static test for the drain lines in advance. Scott came the next day with a very short notice (because we had problems reaching the tenants). Scott did the test professionally and sent the results via email immediately. I really appreciate his help and would recommend his service to anyone.

I hired Union Jack because of his good rating on Yelp, but my experience differs.

I live in a 17 years old house. The toilet plumbing started to leak after about 10 years. First, I replace them myself. But, later I decided to go for a professional. I found Union Jack Plumbing with good rating. So, I hired him.

He showed up, he worked fast, and each item cost me about $90. I would have been satisfied if this had lasted at least 7 to 10 years. But, no, after 1-2 years, the toilet started leaking water, not on the floor, but down the bowl. The water bill creeps up. I suspect he used the cheapest parts he could find. Now, I have to either replace them myself or hire another professional. If the builder would use parts that lasted 10 years, why wouldn't he?

I was one of these winter vortex houses that had busted plumbing, to make a long story short. I was having a tough time even getting plumbers to come to my house to give me an estimate for the whole house re-pipe. Two of Austin's bigger named plumber companies cancelled on me, five minuets before my window, with one on a Monday and one on a Friday. I don't start relationships like that, so I don't reschedule.

My brother in law owns a plumbing company in CA and I told him my woes and he found O & M on Yelp and told me to give them a call. I did and I'm so happy for it.  

Ben showed up Friday morning and on time, to give me an estimate and I told him I was looking for a relationship. I don't just what the wham bam thing, and that I wanted to feel comfortable. Ben walked the property with me and explained all and took the time to think about me needing an additional exterior water faucet and when I told him I'd be interested in a water softener system in the future, he suggested doing the piping now - which would be a great time/money saver.  

I'm so excited that they'll be able to start work in a week! Other companies were trying to quote me so high it was as if they were trying to dare me to give them the job! Looks like O & M is my plumbing Co and I'm sure I'll be recommending them to all. I have complete faith the work will be high quality.

It is my recommendation that you use a different service.

Austin plumbing charges a service call fee to come out and look at the requested work.  

Other plumbers do not.  Fact.

My experience consisted of sending photos of the work to get a quote, only to have them insist on an in person visit

What they gained from seeing the same pipe in person vs in a photo apparently cost me $50.

Go another rout.  The quote they gave me was 2x the price I ended up paying.

I had a leak in a section of old galvanized pipe under my house. Geronimo was able to come the next afternoon. I took a look at his reviews on Yelp! and decided to look no further for someone who could come any sooner--he sounded like the kind of person I wanted to do business with! And he didn't disappoint. He was running close to the end of the (1 hour!) arrival window he had set for himself, so he called me to let me know he was about 15 minutes away. I think he got to my place within the time window any way. He diagnosed the problem quickly, explained what he proposed, gave a very reasonable quote on-the-spot, and took care of it professionally. I look forward to hiring him for some additional plumbing I need to have done.

Diego did some work for us at the new Voodoo Doughnuts in Austin.  Great communication and followup.  He is now on our speed dial and is our Go To Guy for any work we need done!  Thanks Diego, we very much appreciate the great service.

Amazing service! Emilio and Grace were very professional and offered us several affordable repair options.

The valve on our toilet broke. It was running constantly which meant a huge water bill if we didn't get it fixed fast. Most plumbers on Yelp either charged a fee to just come look at the issue or wouldn't be available for weeks. I contacted Everest plumbing on Saturday. They not only gave me an on the spot estimate but were also able to fit us in their schedule for  the next business day. They even arrived within their 2hr estimated arrival window! It took less than an hour to fix and they handled everything.

Nowadays it can be scary to have someone you don't know come into your home for repairs. Meeting this dynamic and professional husband and wife team immediately put me at ease. If you are in need of an affordable and efficient plumbing company, look no further. I would not hesitate to use Everest plumbing again!  Well done team!

They were able to make room in their schedule for me very quickly and were even kind enough to call and see if I wanted them to come sooner (I did) when someone else cancelled. They quickly identified that the leak was actually a backed up drain pipe from me A/C. They cleared the pipe for me, helped me fix it so that it wouldn't happen again, kindly pointed out that I needed to clean out my dryer vent soon, and vacuumed out all the water that had accumulated. They were very punctual and professional. They're one of a very few businesses that I have saved into my phone to contact again in the future if I have problems. I highly recommend them!
