Update 1: Had them over twice. They do a good job. However, felt that this time around they were a bit pricey - charged 240$ for a one hour faucet replacement job (I was expecting around 165$).

Also I feel we did not do a good job with our quote request - learning for me for next time. Partly because we had a good experience with pricing the first time we thought it will be fair this time around too.

While I will keep them in mind for future jobs I will also make sure to shop around for other options.

I can't recommend Abel to Plumb enough. I asked for a quote & got a response in 10 minutes & scheduled a visit for the next morning. Abel assessed the problem & fixed it within an hour. His rates are very reasonable & he's really cool & easy to work with. Call him!

We first met Jaime about 8 years ago when he was hired by our contractor to do the plumbing for a new addition on our central Austin home.  He did all the work for a new master bath, added a tankless water heater and removed old cast iron plumbing from our 1940s home.  Two years later he came back to reroute the plumbing in our guest bath.  He did great work with both jobs and we never had any issues while we lived there.

In 2019, I referred him to a friend who was experiencing a plumbing emergency at his rental.  My friend was super impressed with Jaime's responsiveness and work and was incredibly thankful to have found an honest, trustworthy plumber to help out during an incredibly stressful time.

And in February 2021, we had a pipe break in our new home after the major freeze.  We were panicked that we wouldn't be able to get it fixed timely since it seemed like everyone else in Austin was dealing with the same issue, but Jaime came to the rescue the next day and fixed the busted pipe.

In the 8 years we have called on Jaime, every single experience was top notch. I don't know what I appreciate the most about him: his professionalism, the prompt communication, the excellent work or how wonderfully nice and pleasant he is. The fact that we have been able to call on him to work on every single home we have owned in Austin really speaks volumes about the quality of his business and his work.  Thank you, Jaime, for always being there for us when we need you. My husband and I just moved to Austin and Jim is the second plumber we've tried. Needless to say, we won't be using anyone else. He showed up on a Friday night in bad weather within 30 minutes, fixed our kitchen sink for a good price, and texted two days later to make sure everything was working okay. Excellent service...highly recommended!!

I've been a Gold Member for years in Austin and continued on when I moved to Georgetown last year.  They always try to arrive within their appt. window, but if running late they communicate with you.  My tech the last few times has been Marcus and he's great.  Super polite, professional and takes time to explain what he finds.  He's an asset to the company.  Thanks Stan's!

Great work!  These guys came out on short notice.  They went above and beyond to take care of a leak in our subfloor toilet drain pipe and replaced bathtub overflow valve.  Trustworthy, honesty and professionalism tied into relentless perfection.  I would use them again in a heartbeat!  I recommend them with utmost confidence and enthusiasm.  Darn good guys!

We had a problem with our hot water (we have tankless) in our home we just moved into called a cold water sandwich, the water in the shower would start cold (which is normal), then get hot (which is normal), then go ice cold again (NOT normal), then maybe in a while would get hot again.

We hired a DIFFERENT plumber (not Thunderbird Plumbing) to come by, and after poking around for 40 minutes that idiot said I don't see any issues.  It takes a while for hot water to travel through the house, you need a hot water recirculator to fix this, which will involve us tearing up drywall throughout your house and cost thousands of dollars - we'll send you a quote.  

Before spending those thousands of dollars, we found Thunderbird Plumbing on Yelp looking for at least a second opinion.  Their voice mail said they were too busy right now, but we got a call back right away and they agreed to swing by the VERY NEXT DAY to take a look.  Jeff walks into our house, listens to my description, goes to the tankless hot water heater AND IN 3 MINUTES says Yeah, that's not right at all, I'm reproducing the issue, and it is displaying an error code.  Let me call tech support for this particular unit and we'll work through it.  

I sometimes get chills up my spine when the person in front of me fills me with confidence and I realize this is the right guy, right here, right now.  

About two hours later, Jeff says ok, I fixed several thing and I think you're good, but call me if it isn't fixed, I guarantee this work.  Jeff then explains in great detail, The air intake/exhaust wasn't hooked up right, maybe the wind knocked it at some point, maybe it was never hooked up right, but I fixed that and the error code stopped. Also, you are supposed to replace the water filter into the unit every few years and it really didn't seem like it had ever been replaced and the unit is 7 years old - so I replaced that.  Also, I descaled/decalcified the water heater, it was pretty bad, I don't think anybody had ever done that either so I descaled it.  I also went around to all your showers and cleaned out the sediment from all the shower heads.  It's working great now.  Oh yeah, somebody had turned the hot water heater temperature up too high probably to try to fix this incorrectly, I turned it down to the recommended setting.  It's not great to have it cranked that high, bad for the unit.

And from that point onward we had no more issues, everything worked the way it is supposed to, it even gets hot first thing in the morning in half the time.  No thousands of dollars on a recirculator that would not have solved the problem anyway.  No drywall work.  One visit by the right guy.

I'm never calling anybody else ever again.  Jeff is the plumbing whisperer.  He's the right guy.  And he doesn't charge NEARLY enough, not even close.

We couldn't speak more highly of Mark. He services all our commercial buildings in the Austin area. Yesterday we had a plumbing issue that escalated quickly and Mark was extremely diligent in uncovering the underlying issue. He's patient, professional, on point, responsive, and an over all kind human! So nice doing business with this man. He is very experienced and has always been a huge help to our company!

Needed to Tile my upstairs bedrooms and closets. I'm super OCD, so really read a ton of reviews before choosing Fuentes Tile.

Olvin gave me a quote over the phone, site unseen but gave him as much detail as I could.  He gave me a quote the same day. He also let me know when he could start the job. He showed up on the given day and set time with his coworker.  

All I can say is wow, floors turned out amazing.  This duo knows what they're doing. They don't cut corners, they're very professional, clean up after themselves daily. Treat your home as if it were their own. I couldn't be any happier with the results.  

As for pricing, very reasonable for the level of work you receive.  If you want quality work without the stress of wondering how it will turn out...hire this team.

We discovered a leak after coming back from vacation. I contacted Scott from Spot-On Plumbing after the water mitigation company found the source and he came the same day, diagnosed the problem, and fixed it promptly. He was knowledgable, upfront, and was able to identify other major and minor issues that were the cause of the leak. I'd highly recommend Scott to anyone who needs repairs done efficiently!

Nick is THE BEST!  The quality and pricing cannot be beat, he called back almost immediately and arrived well within the window he'd predicted, and he's a hoot.  The conversation we had while he was repairing a hot water valve and installing a new dishwasher made the time fly by.  Union Jack Plumbing is the only plumbing service we'll use from now on.

We concur with all the other 5-star reviews here. Drew and Carlos installed our new tankless water heater today and we couldn't be more pleased. They installed a water softener and a kitchen sink faucet/sprayer assembly for us a while back. They are a pleasure to deal with and go the extra mile to make everything perfect. Also had the opportunity to speak with owner Ben and office manager Wendy on the phone, which only confirmed that all the folks associated with O & M Plumbing are good people that can be depended on for outstanding service.

Excellent response time, very knowledgeable and willing to explain his thought process. Pricing was very reasonable, especially considering how quickly and professionally he addressed issue (was on location within 24 hours of request, and repair was completed immediately).

I needed a p-trap and studor vent installed (older house that did not have a p-trap on washing machine drain). My main concern was there was a leaking running trap. Multiple other larger companies said they could do job, just to waste my time by scheduling a 4-6 hour window, waiting until end of window, and either coming out and telling me they wouldn't install a studor vent or just calling and telling me they couldn't do it (after I sent very specific diagrams and instructions of what I needed and their dispatch told me that they did indeed provide those services). Had one even tell me it would cost $12,850 to remove the running trap and install p-trap, excluding all repair work. When I told that company's plumber that called me that I was not certain I did have a running trap, he told me it would be $499 just to run camera to check. This was at 6:40pm when I was given a 2pm-6pm window, so he obviously just did not want to work. Geronimo responded and repaired by 6pm the next day - only charged a nominal fee to run the camera, confirming that I did NOT have a running trap, and I had zero question or issue with the labor and material charges he quoted, especially considering all the work was done after 5pm, and all charges were exactly as quoted.

Have his number saved for all future plumbing issues, highly recommend. It is very hard to come by an honest, responsive, and reasonably priced plumber - this is one of those diamonds in the rough, and it is also great to support a small local business.

I needed my front door repaired after someone else didn't do it right last month. Diego told me he could be out a few days later so I set an appointment and waited. Diego arrived on time and identified the issue promptly which had been overlooked and got everything fixed up for me and my tenant.

Showed up on time, came in under budget, easy to talk to, didn't come off as condescending even though he clearly knows way more than I think I do. Whole heartedly recommend to friends and family. They were able to make room in their schedule for me very quickly and were even kind enough to call and see if I wanted them to come sooner (I did) when someone else cancelled. They quickly identified that the leak was actually a backed up drain pipe from me A/C. They cleared the pipe for me, helped me fix it so that it wouldn't happen again, kindly pointed out that I needed to clean out my dryer vent soon, and vacuumed out all the water that had accumulated. They were very punctual and professional. They're one of a very few businesses that I have saved into my phone to contact again in the future if I have problems. I highly recommend them!
