Everything was really good except the price.  I had my [pregnant] wife take care of the situation because I needed to take the kid to the dentist during the time of the appointment.

We needed a switch replaced on one of our can lights, and we needed the transformer changed for our doorbell... over $900 and approximately $400/hr in labor.

The cost of the doorbell transformer change was a bit steep, but I will say reasonably high at $350.

What shocked me more was the price to change a switch at $500.  Just a standard light switch to a ceiling light (not dimmable, nothing special).  They cost less than $10.

They also charged another flat fee of around $60 for coming out.  

Even if you double the retail price for parts both the switch and the transformer would easily be under $100 combined.  So we essentially paid over $400+ an hour for labor.  I can't help but wonder if it was because I let my pregnant wife handle it or if this is standard pricing for their company.

They did get the job done though with zero delays, I just could not justify using them again with that level of pricing unless it was an absolute emergency.

I had a faucet that needed to be installed in my kitchen sink. I purchased the high-end faucet, soap dispenser and hole covers (I have a 4 hole sink but just 2 appliances to install). James came out and gave me a quote - he was very professional and friendly. The staff at the office was very communicative and friendly as well. I hired James to do the job and couldn't be happier. The price was competitive, the work was completed in a timely manner and looks great! He cleaned up all the mess (some that wasn't even his!) and left my kitchen looking great. I would definitely recommend Paschal Air and will use them again in the future. Thanks, James and Pascal Air for a job well done!

Victor did an outstanding job replacing wiring and upgrading and moving my electrical panel to ensure it was up to code. He did a great job, kept me updated on progress and finished ahead of schedule. If I ever need electrical work done again, Victor and Custom Electric will be my first call. Great company.

I was looking for a few updates to my house and adding electrical outlets outdoors for Christmas lights. Denny came out to take a look. He was very professional and assured me everything I was looking for was doable. We scheduled immediately and Pierce came out to do the jobs.
Pierce was great and really listened to what I was looking for. He helped troubleshoot the best solution for one of my request and I am very appreciative for the final solution. He was willing to answer other questions I had and very informative. Highly recommend and would use again.

I have used RB Electric several times and Chris is wonderful.  He is very knowledgeable, trust worthy and he is my go to guy and I will not use anyone else. Ladies, if you are worried about contractors taking advantage look no further.  They are very competitive in their pricing, professional and excellent at what they do.  Very good company and people!

First I have to say I went to bid for 2 units for our Condo Clubhouse. I worked with Kyle and he had a bid to me the next day and answered all my questions immediately thru email. The quote was complete, including taxes.  They ended up installing the 2 units in the clubhouse and 2 other units in condos. They installed all 4 in one day. They were on time, they had a great crew, they worked quickly, they cleaned up everything when they were done and did a great job. Couldn't have been happier.

Giovanni uninstalled some ceiling fans in my house. He was super responsive to my messages, offered me a great price, and was done in less than 20 minutes! 10/10 recommend.

C & B Electric and Security was the contracted company for the new build on our home. We are using them for security monitoring and had them install our home center/media center components. Our go to person is Nathan Boyd. From the very start the entire company has been nothing short of fabulous. When we had them start up our alarm system he also installed our ring doorbell for us, super quickly.
Alexis in the office is super helpful and got our billing set up quickly and made it easy to understand.
When Nathan came out to give us an estimate for the media center he was really patient with all our questions and gave us several options. He worked with us to make the home theater a place we love. He really knows his business and explained things as he went, as well as installing a very user friendly system. We had a small issue this past week and he was out the same day to make it all right. We enjoy visiting with him when he comes out and while we hope we don't need him for a service need he is a valued contact and we will definitely stay in touch.
We had many choices when we moved into our home, and we are so happy we went with C & B.

I had a Tesla Wall Connector installed by CitySquad Electrical and I HIGHLY recommend this company for your next service! They are experienced and knowledgeable with EV charger installations. Chris provided prompt responses and extremely fair pricing.

I supplied the wall connector, provided particular instructions (specific circuit breaker needed, requested conduit encasing and certain distance from breaker panel) with an example picture, and requested a quote that included city permit. CitySquad Electrical met all of my request! They installed the wall connector quickly and done a high quality job!

UDATE INCLUDED Below! DO NOT HIRE THIS GUY! DO NOT PAY HIM IN ADVANCE!! I have to take him to court to get my money back for services he failed to provide.
!!UPDATE! HIS RESPONSE IS AGAIN MORE LIES. I have all the texts and phone call records To prove it.  He has 1 5 star review. I did not say anything to him as he left. He makes up anything he wants and pretends it's truth. RUN from this unscrupulous person. Yeah I dropped a couple f bombs in some of my responses because he frustrates you beyond reason with lies. He owes me $160 before court costs. I offered a $100 settlement and he refused. He wants to give me just $25!  I would give negative stars, if I could.
I have never had to write a review like this. You can see my posts and usually, if someone misleads a little, I let it go.

Once he has your money, he will figure out a way to get close to $100/hour.  He will fabricate fees that he never mentions when you enter a contract with him and chargEd you for parts he recycles from other jobs and claim he bought them for you.

He has yet to provide me any reciept for a light switch that was not In a package. He also asked if he could have my brand new ceiling fans, he took down.

He was so great when I called him because I had someone else not show up and I had painters coming the next day. He said his work is phenomenal and he normally charged $85/hour BUT if I pay him $500 for 8 hours IN ADVANCE, I get deal. IT IS NO DEAL!
He came 1st day and was absolutely great for 1.5hours and I gave him his check, for services in advance.
I was flustered and rushed to get him out and get more things done before I needed to get more done before painters came the next morning. HE LOVES to kill time with chattiThat's not good when you're paying by the hour!

He also wants you to give him buildings codes and access to your place without you there. This is so he can then pad his bill.. He complained about not being able to be there by himself on two counts.

He is the poster boy for bait and switch!

I wrote an incorrect hour time on my check. I called and texted him the next morning and he confirmed I have 8 hours for $500. I also have that in writing.

He also confirmed he would come at scheduled time we agreed upon for Friday, OCt. 7th at 4:30pm and I didn't contact him Again until he contacted me that Friday. He called before our scheduled time and asked if I'm back in town? I said, umm I told you I had an appointment here in Dallas that would take me to about 4pm so 4:30pm is still the time. He launched into a whole thing about the fact he is at another job and he will be late and wanted to push out the time scheduled a week in advance. I said no, not acceptable To move to another day. I have other contractors coming that need your things done and I need them done personally as well. He finally shows up 2.5 hours late. He was clearly irritated about this.

He also left for 20 minutes, to get something from his truck as I was on the phone with my fiancé the whole time and was opening the door to find him and he comes up the stairs with yet another fabricated story about being locked out. He had his phone and could text or call for the code to glass doors he so easily forgot

Had he showed up at our agreed scheduled time, he could have completed everything and our contract could have been satisfied that night. He brings out this unpackaged almond dimmer light switch and I say, what is this? He says, it matches your other outlets... umm NO it does not?! All bathroom covers outlets are white???

We exchanged words, I left him to just get the job done and had to have his mismatched switch installed to make sure the light works.

He was done at 11:03 pm and started 7:05pm,confirmed in text,)& completed 4 hours of work. I texted next day and thanked him for installing my light. He completed 5.5 hours of total work At this point.

He texts me I only have 1.5 out of 2.5 hours left!?!? I say, 7-11 is 4 hours. He responds correct but, I went shopping and you owe me $65 for supplies and 1 hour to shop.
I said no way. You already stated you do not charge for ANY trips to Home Depot.As a handyman he is there frequently and can pick up things for multiple clients on his trips. It's not my problem you procrastinated, nor do I owe a penny for a almond fixture. He is welcome to get it! He proceeded to argue with me, make up false excuses, and then tell me to just take a $25 refund for 2.5 hours of work. Of course I said NO!

He continues to change his story-change times-alter things said and I have two witnesses that directly contradict what he says. His texts, I also have photographed, and printed his texts that contradict each other. He is a liar and a scammer. DO NOT TRUST HIM OR GIVE HIM A PENNY IN ADVANCE.

If you want him for a quick job you pay AFTER he is done, 1st time great.pay in advance, he is HORRIBLE and ARGUMENTATIVE And will 100% lie

I scheduled an appointment, weeks in advance, for an electrician to meet me at my new house build. I wanted additional work done. I called the day before to confirm the appointment. I was assured that the electrician would be there 10am sharp. At 10:15 I called Speedy Electric. the Office Manager, Barbara, had no idea what I was talking about. Said she'd call me back. When she did, said that someone should have called me
at 9:30pm the previous night to let me know that the electrician wouldn't be able to be there! (9:30 at night? Who is working that late!) Obviously the appointment was never booked.

No show two times booked through Choice Home Warranty.
Rude and unconcerned after multiple contacts to schedule and reschedule and reschedule. Never call never use list! Wow, they need serious customer service training or get out of the business!

I hired Jim Hicks to Install 2 lights for my camera back of an envelope to be hot at all times and repair 1 dusk to dawn light and quoted me on paper $201.50.   However, he wired them to the dusk to dawn lights which was not what I wanted.  He did the back yard and fixed the light under the carport and charged me $220.00.  Then said he would be back and give me a bill.  He showed up on the 13th which was Sunday and did not call and put an illegal connector on my front light which would have gotten me a ticket from the City of Dallas. and charged me an additional $40.00.  I then had to hired another electrician to fix the problem.  He also did not wire the back correctly and they had to fix it because the wires were hanging out.  The second electrician cost me $639.99.  I beleive he owes me that money.  He did not do what he agreed to do and ripped me off and did not give me a bill.  DO NOT USE THIS GUY.  He also made me lose $55.00 on my home warranty due to his lack of respect and no bill.
