I had a leaky outdoor faucet and Manny came out the next day to get it fixed. He had to trim around the limestone to get to the faucet and replace it. I was very hesitant about the trimming but he had reassured me he has worked on exterior faucets attached to bricks and limestone before. I allowed him to trim some of the limestone and replace the faucet and it all worked out. The faucet got replaced and I can't even tell the limestone got touched.

I asked him about the water turn off switch for my house and he said it looked really old. From the appearance, it did look old. He wrote me an estimate and explained everything that needed to get done, so I went with it. He installed a pressure reducing valve in my house and installed a water shut off valve. He ensured my plumbing was up to code.

Manny was patient and answered questions kindly. He went over each item on the list with me before I accepted it. It was raining on the day he was working but he worked hard and did a great job! Pricing was fair and the quality of work was a 10/10. I would use them again and recommend Manny.

Our water heater sprung a leak and needed replaced. Josh came out same day (much to my surprise!) and got us fixed up with a new one. The price was 25% higher than I was quoted elsewhere. They didn't push at all, and offered to leave me with the quote to shop around. They were the first to get to my house though and we needed a fix asap. I'm glad we did, the install was done in just a couple hours and looks great.

One odd note, I originally called Blue Dragon and was automatically forwarded to Plumb Doctors. After some confusion they informed me that they're taking on Blue Dragon's work since he's on a leave of absence. To further confusion, the guys that show up had Plumb Masters shirts on! Turns out they're all the same company. Might consider having a little messaging on the phone line or on yelp or something that these different companies are all under the same banner/owner.

Past time for an update. We've had the Platinum Service Membership with Plumb Masters for the past couple of years, and haven't used them beyond a yearly visit to de-scale our tankless water heater and unclog a stubborn drain line. Those visits both went well. But the promise of priority service with a free service call, should we have any problems, was an incentive to spring for that membership.

Then came the February Freeze of 2021, when we lost both power and water and had to shut down our tankless in the attic and drain our plumbing lines. We wanted them to check out our system when our utility services came back up, so I called, then messaged them through their website, then texted them, outlining the issues and mentioning our address and Platinum Service membership. No answer. Ever. Their phone message said that their trucks were parked, which meant we were on our own, but I had at least expected a follow-up message when they made it back to the office. Nope. A neighbor who is a homebuilder helped us out.

They finally called today to see if I wanted to renew that expiring membership, over six months after our multiple fairly desperate attempts to reach them. There was some song and dance about their entire system having shut down, and that they had so many calls that they couldn't get back to everyone. For over six months? Okay, no, I'm not renewing our membership.

So take that updated information for whatever it's worth to you, but we're officially in the market for another plumbing company.

Horrible experience. We interrupted his dinner. He was rude and would not cooperate with my contractor to discuss what he had been working on. The plumber said he went to school and did not want to share his knowledge with my contractor and did not diagnose the problem. Meanwhile, my contractor kept looking at things and figured out the problem without the help of your schooled plumber. It was simply the water heater leaking and I find it amazing that a plumber wouldn't consider that and go look.

I tried calling the manager in the following days. He finally called back. I was telling him what happened and we got disconnected. I called right back and was told the manager had left. He did call back after we got disconnected.
Horrible service from top to bottom.

Your plumber was not here to supervise anything. He was requested to fix the problem. The contractor was here to tell him exactly what he had done so far. Your plumber wanted to immediately start tearing out drywall. I said let's wait five minutes for my contractor to get here because he knows what was behind the walls since he had just put up new drywall. Thank god I didn't let him because it had nothing to do with what was behind the drywall. It was the water heater in the attic.

Why didn't your trained license plumber think about checking the water heater? He just got bent out of shape that my contractor was there to explain the update so far. That's when your car plumber basically refused to speak with my contractor. And that's when he decided to leave without diagnosing the problem.

I deserve a refund. You did not perform a job for me. You did not do anything but want to start tearing out drywall at great expense to me.

For a simple part replacement in a sink faucet that would take less than hour, they wanted $350. Refused to give ballpark on the phone. Said they had to assess. His assessment amounted to looking on his phone at a list of what costs what!

Sam did an excellent job. Good on-site Customer is more than resolving our plumbing issue. Sam explained very direct and clearly to me the process for repair.

The comfort he provided knowing he will resolve today set us at ease.

Please share with Sam, and recognize him for his great customer service.

I lowered Plumb Masters rating as pricing was WAY HIGHER than expected. I agreed with the onsite dispatch price.

We'll close this out as water under the sewer!

I liked that they were able to get me an appointment quickly. The plumber listened to all of my concerns and quickly figured out what the issue was.

He came dressed in PPE and was very professional. He quickly went to work on the issue. Got it fixed and used a camera to ensure there were no other issues. He took the time to clean up and was very polite.

Next time I have a plumbing issue I would call Plumb Masters.

We had a BIG plumbing emergency on a Saturday morning, causing sewage back up flooding. We called Plumb Masters and Joe arrived on site very quickly; maybe within 15 or 20 minutes. What a relief! He was able to quickly diagnose and explain the issue, check for other problems (since we recently purchased the house) and recommend a remediation company to help with the cleanup.
By the way, Joe wore a mask the entire time without us even asking. Very considerate.

Plumb Masters called me to follow up on this complaint, and I do enjoy their customer service. However, I cannot get past the amount of times I had to call them back to my apartment because of repair failures. I do acknowledge that everything was fixed eventually, but it takes a ton of effort and time out of my day to have these things fixed again and again after paying hundreds and thousands of dollars out of my pocket for services that are not cheap.

As for the response on Yelp, I was indeed charged around $320 for one of the two toilets that were part of the first job that had a pipe burst, so that is incorrect. I am not a person that looks to tear businesses down but Plumb Masters did not handle many things correctly without my complaint.

I moved into a new building downtown and overtime the faucets would seize causing them to be almost impossible to turn on or off. I reached out to another plumber and they had no idea how to solve. This happened to a number of my faucets. When Mark showed up he asked if I had documentation, he reviewed it and when he attempted to remove the faucet found that the installer used a glue where there was supposed to be lubricant. This required the faucet to be destroyed to be removed. He installed the new faucet correctly and demonstrated how easy it is to service. Excellent communicator and very professional. Highly recommended.

Over the weekend we had a relatively urgent issue with one of the bathroom sinks. We called Plumb Masters and left a message on Sunday afternoon and they called back first thing Monday morning. They were very upfront about the $89 dispatch fee and immediately scheduled a visit.

Graham came by that afternoon and did a fantastic job. He was extremely cautious with COVID-safe procedures - wore a mask, gloves, and even boot covers on his feet and continuously switched them out as he went in and out of the house. Within a few minutes, he easily explained what the issue was and exactly how to fix it and it only took him about 40 minutes finish the job. Graham went above and beyond. After he finished, he ALSO cleaned and disinfected the entire affected area of the bathroom for us.

Plumb Masters were very helpful, prompt, and let us provide contactless payment. Such professional and efficient service, we could not be more thankful to Graham and the team!

Props to Andrew for immediately contacting me regarding the initial response I received when I first called for plumbing needs; they implemented a new script in place for when folks call in based on my feedback. And since then, whenever I've called the office the response is always pleasant and more customer service oriented. Andrew himself is always very responsive and he even provided me with his direct number. It was easy for me to get work scheduled with them quickly for a week day.

Andrew and his team were able to resolve an unexpectedly complicated plumbing situation that involved more diagnostic work than originally anticipated. They put in a lot of work and now my shower behaves beautifully....plus I have shiny new fixtures and a new valve. The team also did other work, including a tankless water heater tune-up, a bathroom faucet repair and another replacement. Everything works much better now. Andrew went above and beyond to help me with obtaining a new faucet and he did some extras too, like cleaning up clogged sink drains. He seems to be a straight shooter and I believe he's honest and the prices seem fair. I hope to only have maintenance plumbing needs going forward, and for this, or anything else that comes up, I'll use Plumb Masters again.

Graham did an amazing job! He fixed the clog, explained everything thoroughly (pricing & options), arrived on time, and finished quickly. He even gave me a tip on keeping my sink clear...which he wasn't there for! What more can you ask for? Excellent service, helpful and great attitude.
That's the other thing I was impressed by. Both Graham and the guy I scheduled with were incredibly friendly and nice. As well as efficient.

Wayne and Manny (not Wade and Matty ) came out this morning to install a toilet in our guest bath and install a faucet in another bath. First of all, they were super easy to schedule- we called the day before and bam- the team was there the next morning.

They were right on time, professional, friendly and even fun! They did an amazing job (toilet installed in a flash and no trace anyone was even there). The faucet proved to be more of a challenge due to the new one being a different style. They had all the tools and know how to make a quick and seamless install.

Payment was super quick and easy via card on an ipad. Highly recommend!!

Not too happy that their employees came to my door by mistake. After a few doorbell rings, and even a tug on the storm door, I answered my camera. It was then they realized they were at the wrong house. The numerical address is on the porch as well as the curb. Not too excited about 2 masked ppl showing up by mistake at 9 am.
Also, having one guy taking his shoe covers off and leaving them on my porch wasn't too appealing either. Lastly, my speakers are quite sensitive, and they up everything said on camera, I would keep that in mind when coming to a home. Professionalism dropped the ball, and it wasn't even the correct house.

Setting up an appointment through Yelp, and then through phone was fast and easy. The plumbers showed up the next day on time.

Had the plumbers replace some shut-off valves under my sink and install a new faucet. A fairly simple job that they got done quickly.

While the price does feel higher than average, their work did save me a lot of time so it was worth it.

One point of feedback: I noticed the plumbers using an app to figure out the amount to charge. This could have been done through video chat, or through a phone call, given I already knew what work needed to be done. That way I can get a quote and avoid the $89 charge to have the plumbers show up.

I needed an emergency service on a Sunday for a water main break on my side (was not on the city side unfortunately). I called my usual plumber knowing he was not open or did weekend calls and he referred me to Plumb Masters.
Technician was out within an hour, Jamie, and he did a great job.
Not only did he get us back up and running but he was friendly and personable and didn't mind me hanging around as he dug it out and repaired it.
Also considering it was an emergency weekend service, the rate was higher which they communicated clearly, but still ended up being reasonable.

Great experience and I would highly recommend to anyone. Thank you Jamie and Plumb Masters.

I had to call Plumb Masters twice to handle a couple of issues. The first was a pipe leak due to a high PSI issue that the fixed immediately. The second was with a toilet issue with my two back studios for which Oliver handled the issue and did a great job.

I let a man into my house, one that I trusted with something as private as my toilet. He came in and spoon fed my lies that would make believe my porcelain throne could be saved, but I can't be. Well, couldn't. I payed so much only to be let down. Water flooded my bath but my heart was left dry. I can't say I will ever trust a plumber again, even now thinking about it I get panic attacks. I paid them on $680 on Monday to fix a clog, as they were the only ones available to come out on short notice. They cleared it and said they would send a quote to permanently remove the issue, but that we'd be OK for 6 months or so. On Saturday I had water all over my downstairs. Their fix lasted less than 5 days, and they never sent me a quote for the permanent fix.

When we called on Saturday, their first response was that the work was not warrantied. They were not helpful and only offered to send someone out at overtime rates.

Their motto is If you're not happy, we're not finished. But that only means they're not finished charging you.

So I'm out $680, have the same problem, and calling a new plumber. Avoid.

I found a lot of good reviews for this company and I'm pretty happy with the results. They fixed four leaks in about 90 minutes. Not too shabby. A tad pricy but hey, compared to the amount of plaque buildup in my heart I avoided, stressing and yelling, making mistakes, and all the runs to Lowe's because I bought the wrong part, and all the rest I would've experienced doing it myself.... WORTH IT! Thanks Plumb Masters! I will be recommending your business to others.

Oliver and Chris did an outstanding job installing a toilet and the plumbing for a vanity. They were on time, professional, and even charged me less than quoted because one of parts they originally planned on providing was included in the box my faucet came it. Now that is honesty! I also liked the office communication including appointment confirmation! This communication provided me with confidence that I'd have a plumber actually arrive at the date/time window requested (yes, they arrived perfectly as scheduled!). The communication between the plumbers assigned to my job was poor. Management is trained well on communication. I waited for a week for the appointment and I got confirmation from two separate people that if I accept their quote at the time the plumbers get here, they'll start and finish the job, even if it goes after hours. I have yet to receive a quote after 3 days, just a quick note around closing that it'll have to be the next day. I got the estimate fee waived and I was very disappointed that my project got delayed 2 weeks. If you want to avoid extra work, inconvenience, and delay, I urge you to look fr another company!

I've for a long time believed the words Honest Plumber were an oxymoron, especially in Austin. Until today.

I think it was pure luck the plumber referrals I got from other contractors were all busy--or had terrible Yelp reviews. Because that's how my search continued till I saw Plumb Masters: great Yelp reviews and their phone rep Mandy was very friendly and efficient. Her quote of fees seemed reasonable, so I booked them, and luckily they sent us Samuel the plumber and Sean his assistant, who arrived less than 1.5 hours after the call.

These guys made a top notch team, they did diagnostics including a camera line to figure out our blocked drain issues in the kitchen and guest bath, and less than an hour later they knocked out the job. I thought the final price for their work was very reasonable, and it precisely matched their estimate. The original driving fee of $89.00 was waived. This team was so honest and efficient, it all seemed surreal. Other plumbing companies in Austin have been so crooked and shady--not Plumb Masters. Samuel even gave me pointers how to avoid issues in all the drains from now on--money saving advice.

I was so impressed when they left, I texted a jpg image of their business card to my next door neighbor. Put it this way--this company and their service was so above and beyond the others, I'd give them free ad space on radio or TV if I had a show.

I can't recommend them highly enough. Don't bother calling anybody else. This is the best plumbing service you'll find in the Austin area. Period.

We experienced a late night (midnight) failure of our master bedroom toilet. Panic!!! When we contacted Plumb Masters, they responded in 30 minutes - very impressive

Really impressed with Plumb Masters. Graham showed up promptly and was super professional and efficient. My house was built in 1964 and has a cast iron pipe system. The washing machine drain got clogged, he was able to auger it out after diagnosing it within a few minutes. I was recommended by Gilbert at Blue Dragon as they don't tackle this type of issue. Graham was also very helpful in describing how to prevent reoccurrence quite as often (its an old house, it'll happen again).

The service is good. The job gets done. The company pricing model is by the job/task. Each job tasks has contingency cost built in. If you have multiple job on the property, you will be paying contingency multiple times costing arms and legs. If all job goes quickly and smoothly, you are still responsible to pay for the contingency amount in the estimation.

Going forward, I plan on choosing a plumbing service by hourly. If it takes longer to get the job done, I will pay for the additional hours.

Our kitchen faucet started dripping. In an attempt to replace it, we found it was rusted. Graham from Plumb Masters came out, spent a *very* long time sawing out the old one and installed our new faucet. Before signing off on his work, he noticed that the soap dispenser wasn't as tight as it could be and spent another several minutes getting that right - without me asking him to. Agree with other reviewers that I felt comfortable from a COVID perspective. All and all, great experience.

Toilet wouldn't flush right. Gurgled. Plunger didn't work. Started Christmas Day!

Started hunting on Yelp for a plumber at 7a this morning and got a referral from another plumber (nice guy) to call Plumb Masters. I called them right away, and they were here before 9a! Joe and Brian were great, polite, and friendly guys. They diagnosed the problem, fixed it and the charge was more than reasonable.

Really impressed and would call them anytime we ran into more plumbing troubles. And, I'd hope they'd send the same guys! There is a reason they have great ratings.

Oh, and almost forgot to add they told me reasons it might or might not happen again so I'd know what to expect. Knowledgeable and helpful.

Great experience with this company. Good response and were able to clear a monstrous drain clog behind the wall in under an hour. Very COVID safe and careful. Highly professional plumber who really knew his business. They had to snake out the line to the main. Also Plumb Masters can do tunnel work if a pipe cracks in the slab. Many companies won't do this work. Luckily in my case that wasn't necessary. Reasonable charge for what they did. Would use again.

Hi I called Plumb Masters to help with an emergency plumbing situation, in the middle of the night. They were responsive and professional. I had called many other plumbers but Plumb Masters were the only ones able to respond. When the technician got there they could not access the property, as the tenant had fallen asleep. Blake the technician was incredibly understanding. He gave me plenty of time to try and fix the access problem, but unfortunately I was unable to. I offered to pay Blake in addition to the call out fee, but his integrity would not allow him to accept it and instead he praised Plumb Masters and suggested that I have them come out the next day and fix the issue. I cannot begin to express what a credit Blake is to the company and wish you all the very best in the future.

This place truly is a 24 hr place. The shower valve on one of our upstairs valves stripped last night around 7 PM and wouldn't turn off!!!! Here it is Labor Day weekend we just started calling plumbers that listed 24 hr emergency service. None of them were available until I found this company. They came out within an hour fixed the shower. Very professional? upfront with cost, and the repair was fast! This will become my new go to place. We also have two AirBNB properties and something inevitably is always going wrong. I'm so thankful to have found this place!

Oliver and Marco came to my house yesterday to unclog my guestroom toilet. They were on time for their appointment, polite, and professional. I received a call on 3/23 in the afternoon to let me know a technician was available right then and could come by if I was available. YES, please!
Sean arrived, assessed the issue, and set about fixing the stoppage. He even had to go get a part to replace something broken.
Just great service! Sean was nice and went what I felt was above and beyond to make a run to Home Depot for a part at the end of the day. This meant he finished up without having to return the next day.
Highly recommend and will call on them again when I need plumbing repair or installation!!

They charged me $89 to do absolutely nothing. The only reason I'm giving them 2 stars is because they responded quickly, and they have nice people on the phone. I requested them out because I live at the bottom of a hill, and my grinder pump alarm was activated. You would think a plumber would bring the appropriate tools to fix such a thing, otherwise they would say they're not capable of completing the job. Instead, they come out, realize they can't access it because they need to pump sewage out. The two employees that came here recommended a guy that can pump it for me, and then they can come back and finish the work at a later time. $89 just to come out here for a total of five minutes and tell me that they can't do the work. Sounds like something they could've told me over the phone instead of sending someone out, and wasting my time and money. They made a quick and easy $89 off of me for a dispatch fee. Complete bull. Meanwhile, I can't use the water or toilet until that's completed, I don't think so...

I called Rooter Man Plumbing, and they got out here in an hour. They said they could pump it using a transfer pump to see what was going on. They fixed it in an hour, and left. Should've called them to begin with.

Our shower would not turn off, and we broke the handle in the process. We needed a plumber immediately, and after speaking with Jennifer, we were able to book our AMAZING plumber Graham! He put us right at ease with his knowledge and professionalism. Additionally, he wore a mask and gloves the whole time (and our dog loved him too). He quickly diagnosed the problem and gave us a fair quote. He gave us direction on where to acquire the new shower handle, in order to reduce the quote, and it was very easy to get. First time home owner. Two story home. Drilled a hole in the drain pipe coming down from the laundry and guest bathroom drainage.

When I told my friends, they told me it happens. I thought I was smarter than that. I started calling plumbers, and found Plumb Masters via a recommendation from another company by the name of Blue Dragon that was booked until a month from then. If a plumber recommends another plumber, must be a good pipe network.

Plumb Masters tech came by the next day after I called. Service was prompt. He got here and was courteous. Everything about the service exceeded my expectations as this is my first property, so I don't have much experience. Price was decent. I decided to put up the drywall myself. It's been 1 week and a half, and the hole is still not patched up. My bad.

Overall, I HIGHLY recommend Plumb Masters.

I had an urgent repair work, there was a water leak in the main water pipe feeding my home. I called, they offered to come the same day!
- The technicians (Joe and Steve), were awesome, they explained the process and pricing upfront
- They found the issue and suggested repair plan. Unfortunately they did not have the part in their inventory, they went to hardware store to look for it.
- Long story short, the fixed the problem, they stayed till ~8pm to make sure that I had water that evening!

These plumbers are responsive, professional and trustworthy. We had a leak in our master bath tub the week of my son's college graduation. With lots of family visiting, it wasn't the best time to tear into the family room ceiling. Cody suggested he caulk the edges of the tub after a jetted spray was found to have caused the leak, and return in a few weeks time to reassess the leak instead of ripping into the ceiling and charging hundreds more.

The worst customer experience I have ever had. We asked them to come out on December 26th which they did. They ran a few tests to identify where a leak came from in a wall. They basically threw some caulk on a gap, charged us, had us spend $825 to hire a company to dry out the area. When the area was dry and we used the tub again it turns our they hadn't fixed the leak. We had them come out again, and they said it was because the tub needed to be re-sealed. I then hired another plumber to assess the situation and they had it entirely wrong. Very disappointing, and I can't even get the owner/manager to have a discussion with me. I have tried to be reasonable and resolve the situation, but at this point, it causes is just too much time and aggravation. My advice would be to avoid this company at all costs!

Came out and tested my gas line and told me it was 1 pound. Gas company to test their end and the guy was nice enough to check the pressure coming out by the water heater and it was 4oz, which is exactly what it should be. Be careful using this company, or you may get ripped off.

This day didn't start out well, as my bath faucet in the main bathroom decided it wouldn't turn off. I had to turn off the water main and had almost resigned myself to not having it fixed until after the weekend (it's Saturday). All the other plumbers I contacted were giving me Monday or Tuesday as their next availability.
Plumb Masters was able to send out Sean to help me. He quickly figured out that the cartridge in the faucet needed to be replaced. I also had a more minor issue with the second bathroom where it was stuck in shower mode, and since I had the plumber out anyway, I had Sean fix that as well. All together, it took about 2 and a half hours waiting and another hour for the fixes.
Sean was courteous, efficient, and didn't even say anything about me being in my pajamas. It's laundry day today, somewhat delayed by not having running water for several hours. Price for both repairs was in the mid $600 range; I don't really have a good frame of reference to know if that's a good price or not. It was more than worth it to have running water back and everything fixed.

I called to have my kitchen sink unclogged. They came out without a quote and quickly decided to charge the maximum fee. Cleaned the sink drain out, left and by the next day it was clogged again. They didn't do the job right and the sink was. CLogged again next day even worse. Plumb Masters does not stand by their work and refused to come out and do the job properly. They screwed me out of $200. This place is a ripoff. They DO NOT STAND BY THEIR WORK. Do not use this service. Worst ever!

Graham showed up and validated my concerns that had been initially ignored by my property manager! Both downstairs toilets in my house need attention and I had lived with the problem for 2 months. Had a main sewer line stoppage needed to be cleared. The technican did talk to me about all the charges and fee and solve the problem. The issue is that within 15 days the same issue occur again. First the fee for this company is way higher than other plumbing company. The service call itself was 175$ and 410$ to clear the main line. I'm now getting quote from other vendor for 85$ service call and 270$ to clear the main sewer line. After it stopped working in 15 days, I called them and they refuse to provide any warrantee for the work. They then told me i would be looking at 1500-2000 to run a camera to look at the root cause or recommending dig up my sewer line to replace it. What the hell. This company is a blood sucking company with huge cost. Don't go with them.

I was referred to Plumb Masters by Gilbert at Blue Dragon Plumbing. Our main sewer line was broken and needed to be replaced. I knew right away this would not be a cheap project. This was not an emergency repair but was time sensitive. I tried to do my due diligence and called 4 different companies to obtain a quote. When I called Plumb Masters and they were able to dispatch a plumber to assess the repair and provide an estimate within 24-hours, which was faster than 3 other plumbing companies I had called. Although none of the companies could provide an estimate over the phone, Plumb Masters was transparent up-front and quoted me a dispatch fee of $89.00 to provide an estimate and mentioned this would be applied towards the final repair bill if we moved forward with them. One of the estimates I obtained was from a large national reputable company and their estimate was almost double. This is why local matters.

Plumb Masters was not the cheapest estimate, but I decided to move forward with them because they had the best reviews. In addition, I felt more comfortable with them because the plumber that provided the estimate went out of his way to explain the extent of the damage and broke down the costs in detail. He was very personable and took the time to listen to my questions and explain in detail. Plumb Masters emailed the estimate immediately and provided the option to electronically sign which was convenient. After I signed the Documents sent to me via email, I received a call from their office within minutes to schedule the project around my schedule.

The Technician that did the repair was Graham. I encourage you to request him next time you schedule Plumb Masters Services. He was fantastic and is a great representative of the company. He called ahead to confirm the appointment and was right on time. Although I had already accepted the proposal electronically, he took the time to explain the extent of the repair once again and answer all questions I had. The original estimate I had received included digging and had a clause indicating that the estimate was subject to change if they discovered that the repair would need to be larger than originally anticipated. Once they had excavated and assessed the full extent, Graham and his colleague provided an update, explained in detail, and confirmed the final amount. Even though the repair was slightly more complex than they had originally anticipated, the final bill was exactly what had been quoted in the estimate.
If you are in need of plumbing services, I highly recommend Plumb Masters. I hope not to need their services in the near future, but will not hesitate to call them again next time our house needs repairs.
TL;DR - Great local company. Transparent, personable, efficient, and fair in their pricing. Not the cheapest option, but certainly the best value. They go above and beyond in their communication and customer service.

I was referred to this company because I was told they have a camera that can detect leaks. I called up to make an appointment to have a leak check and the woman on the phone scheduled me for it. The plumber shows up and says he doesn't have a camera but that he would call his boss to see if he could get one to use. He spent some time outside on the phone with his boss, but then came back in and said he couldn't get one today.

Then he tried to collect the $89 service fee, and I said I'm not going to just pay for someone to show up without the equipment for the service I booked.

A couple of hours later the lady who I spoke to on the phone called up and tried to collect the service fee and she was on one. I explained the situation and said that if he had brought the equipment we could have done the service, but I can't just pay for someone to spend 5 minutes at my house telling me that he can't do the service. She rudely replied, the 89 dollars is not for him to bring tools, it's for him to show up.

Hahaha! If you like common sense and being spoken to politely, I'd recommend skipping this company.

They turned crappy into clapping. Let's be real. Nobody wants to call a plumber. Not on a Saturday, which is, of course, when all plumbing issues are scheduled to appear, not when you have sewage coming into the house instead of out of it, and especially not when every plumber in town is booked a month in advance because of the winter storm. I called six plumbers, and Plumb Masters were the only ones to answer immediately. Yes, it's more expensive on the weekend, but try telling your SO that we're just going to have to hold it for 48 hours. Anyway, Plumb Masters scheduled Jami to come over right away. He was very clear in what he was going to do and was very well equipped (with gadgets I had never seen) to diagnose the problem. The diagnosis was not good: collapsed drainage pipe. Need to dig. Jami explained the cost differences depending on where the problem was (ranging from 'that's not cheap' to 'let's just walk away from the house and move to the mountains'). Still, Jami used the snake to clear up a bit of the pipe so we could start using the restroom again immediately! They scheduled to come back and do the work on Monday. This time Jami was working with Jordan, and this dynamic duo of drainage doctors took to the front yard to locate the broken pipe. When they finally located it, it turned out that roots had gotten in through a screw-top lid that the builder didn't put cement on. The pipe was not burst or collapsed, so Jami and Jordan called me outside, they talked to their office and discounted the heck out of the original quote. They cleared out the roots in the pipe and cemented the lid so it never happens again. I really appreciated the honesty as well as the care they took to mark the hole so people wouldn't fall into it while the cement dried. A few days later Jami and Jordan came back and closed everything up in a matter of minutes with no fuss. I do recommend you call them and have them quote you for the repair, even over the weekend. They were fast, clearly know what they're doing, and when natured called they answered.

I had used these folks before and was happy with the work. This time around, I call and ask them if they replace drain line on dishwashers. I get a yes. Plumbers show up, I tell them what the issue is. They're looking at the dishwasher like they've never seen one before. Next, I clarify that I just want the drain line to be replaced. Their answer? We don't do that to which I reply well, that's literally the reason I called and the reason you are here. They tell me that they have to ask their boss if they can do it. 15mn later, yes 15, they come back and tell me it's going to be 600 sthg dollars. I pretty much kicked them out of my house after giving them their $89 for showing up. A few minutes later, I get the quote on email. even better, a minute after that, I get a second quote for the same job at half the price. Thank god it said plumb masters on their van, otherwise I would have guessed that that was their profession. Ridiculous.

Travis and Tino came out to my house this morning to check on some issues with my water flow. They were right on time, called 20 min ahead and were gone again within 20 min after they had addressed my situation.

They were SUPER professional, friendly and seemed absolutely 100% trustworthy. They ended up not even charging me, as my issues looked like an anomaly probably caused by the City Of Cedar Park, as my water flow seemed to be in good condition when they checked it.

They're on my list now, that's for sure. Straight up, no BS and obviously totally fair in terms of pricing. I REALLY appreciate how easy it was to get Travis and Tino on my schedule when I first called Plumb Masters. This is how it should be, but unfortunately that's often not the case with plumbing companies. Plumb Masters is the best experience I've ever had with plumbing work in my life by a long shot. For starters, their pricing was far, far better than anyone else for basic cleaning and diagnostic work.

Jay, the plumber who came out to service my house, was incredible. He did a fantastic job assessing both my sewage system as well as my hot water heater. I recently had another, larger, plumbing company out to my house and they were unable to clear my system and very quickly opted to write up a quote to fix my system for tens of thousands of dollars. Jay fixed the issue in a matter of minutes. He then spent a ton of time explaining specifically what had been wrong with my system and how he had proven beyond a reasonable doubt that it was in complete working order and not in need to a pricey fix. He didn't try to sell me or up-charge me on anything that I didn't need.

If you want an honest plumber that does a great job, turn to Jay and the folks at Plumb Masters. You won't regret it.

Eric Jenkins and Roberto Cordero are awesome at what they do and with customer service. I had an issue with my heater leaking all over the place and they came out quickly and took care of it. They were super friendly and professional.

They even recommended another company to come take a look at the water damage.

From beginning to end, my experience with Plumb Masters has been EXCELLENT the two times I have needed them recently. Dispatchers have been courteous, understand issues I bring to them, and efficiently communicate with technicians. On the first occasion, technicians Sam and Josh thoughtfully explained both to me and to my deaf tenants the problems with the toilet and their proposed solutions, which they executed and tested thoroughly. On the second visit, a different house, Graham was equally professional and efficient repairing two toilets.

I appreciate their coming out in the midst of the pandemic, taking all necessary precautions to avoid bringing in germs or contaminating themselves.

For comparison, until now I have used a different company that was cheaper. CHEAP=SLOPPY. It took the other plumber three visits to get a faucet head screwed on right. I had to explain what I wanted several times to dispatcher, then to technician, then to second technician who came to repair problems created by first. They were rude to my tenants. Do you get what you pay for? With Plumb Masters you do.

The positive: Plumb Masters helped us out on a weekend when our water line sprouted a large leak. They set us up with a temporary line until they were able to dig, put the new line in, and get the inspection done.
The bad: It took 3 weeks to get the trench dug, new line put in, pass inspection, and get it backfilled. That meant there was a huge trench next to my driveway with an exposed temporary pipe and a big pile of dirt next to it for over two weeks. They failed the first inspection due to the pressure, and then charged us an additional $1000 on top of the original estimate to change whatever it was that was needed.
My biggest problem, however, is that they claimed to offer a 5% cash discount, which is a pretty big amount for an $8000+ job ($400). When I spoke to someone at the office, however, she claimed that a cash discount meant ACTUAL cash. Not a personal check (so as to avoid a credit card fee, like every other normal business), but actual paper money. They wanted me to go to the bank and get $8000 in cash. No offer for a personal escort or suitcase to carry all that money in. This makes no sense and is bad business, and makes me suspicious of them trying to keep business under the table (or are they laundering money?!). I would likely not use them again because of this.

A friend referred Plumb Masters to me a few years ago and I've been very pleased with their service. A little over a year ago, I replaced carpeting with tile and called Plumb Masters to reset the toilet in two bathrooms. Unfortunately, the technician who did the work didn't complete the work correctly which resulted in a slow leak that was discovered a little over a year later. The slow leak caused significant damage but Plumb Masters took full responsibility and remediated the situation quickly and professionally. They even called a 3rd party in to ensure that there was no permanent issues with mold--and they covered that cost fully.

There are plenty of good plumbing companies in Austin but my loyalty to Plumb Masters deepened because they went above and beyond to remediate the situation. One never knows when a mistake will be made by an employee but the integrity they showed is rare. I highly recommend this company.

Plumb Masters have taken care of our plumbing needs for over 8 years. They have done everything from replacing water heaters, to adding outlets, replacing shower valves and replacing or repairing faucets. Most recently, we were having problems with our toilets not flushing properly. Jami and Jordan promptly assessed the problem and replaced the tank valves on two our toilets- one of them being in the master bathroom which we all know is critical in any household. They wore masks and booties consistent with proper care during these Covid times. Thank you Plumb Masters and Jami and Jordan.

They helped us with a weekend water heater bust, came out Saturday night when we had the leak, had it changed promptly starting Sunday morning and even helped us with some sink hiccups that happened along the way. Worked with Oliver and Sean and would recommend them and plumb masters highly. Plumb masters listened carefully to a long history of problems with my Navien tankless water heater and plumbers who only wanted to do unnecessary work and Plumb Masters sent out CLAY AND KAILUM who open their manual talked to experts at Navien and fixed the problem honestly, quickly, and affordably They were great.

Called Plumb Masters to come out to unclog a shower and tub drain as well as fix incorrect plumbing under the kitchen sink. Graham Priester was assigned, showed up on time, expediently fixed both issues in record time, explained in thorough detail the issues at hand and cleaned up the areas before leaving. Fantastic work and I am very pleased with the result. Would highly recommend Graham for any future work.

Speed of response is fast. But service charge is very expensive. They will charge $178 if service is declined after quote. Otherwise, it's $89+actual cost. I had a leaking main water pipe in the front yard. Cost me $600. I know it involved some digging work but it is something that can be done in a hour or two. Yet, a couple of hours later, it starts to leak again. I had to call the guy back to finish the job properly.

It was a weekend and I wanted to fix the problem for the tenant on the same day. I called several companies and they are the only one I can get hold of for same day service. But I should have called more companies to get more reasonable price. This one definitely charges as much as they can. I know professional plumbers can be expensive and I was prepared to pay $300 for the job. But $600 simply reminded me spending more time shopping around always makes sense when it comes to plumbing jobs.

We had an annual maintenance check for our tankless hot water heater. Graham was very professional and did a great job. Due to Covid-19, we were concerned about having someone come in our home. He wore PPE, and kept his distance, and was very respectful which made us more comfortable.

Called to schedule a service. They were able to come out next day. I had a small window of availability and they actually listened and stuck to arriving at that time. Jami, the technician, was very professional, worked quickly, and got the unit fixed (rather than just rip and replace without really diagnosing). He even helped me understand what was wrong, which I always appreciate!

I originally called Blue Dragon, they were booked but highly recommended Plumb Masters. I called to schedule an appointment for later today or tomorrow and to my surprise Cody & Brian were available and at my doorstep 30 mins later.

I had a clogged kitchen sink drain which was backed up to another unit/apt and they had it resolved in 15 mins, even took the time to explain the issue and what it looked like. I had several questions and they were able to answer them all. They were prompt, friendly and professional; also cleaned up after themselves. I will definitely call them again for any plumbing issues. Thanks guys!

After going through two other HORRIBLE plumbing companies my friend Sam told me these guys are honest, will do a perfect job, and they'll do it with a smile. I didn't realise how right he was until they came out to my house and saved me hundreds of dollars by just doing a simple test to show me I didn't, in fact, have a leak like Mr. Rooters plumbing told me I had (and wanted to charge me $700 just to inspect the supposed leak!!!).

I cannot recommend these guys highly enough. Seriously, the most professional company I've ever dealt with!!!!

Wow, what a great customer experience! I was referred to Plumb Masters by another plumber who assured me these guys are great & will take care of you ...sure enough, they did!

After noticing an exterior water leak, I called and got a same day appointment. As scheduled, Oliver arrived and quickly/accurately assessed the situation to be a slow-leak at the exterior faucet. Given there was no way to access the plumbing from the inside, he even referred me to some to have the exterior Hardie Board cut away to expose the pipe.

Today, Oliver & Kailum arrive to complete the work. They are both awesome & handled the repair without issue. I very much appreciate their service orientation & professionalism; hence, I know who I'll call next time I need a plumber.

Do not take water for granted. You won't know how much you need it until you don't have it.

It was a quiet Sunday afternoon when there came a knock on the door. My neighbor telling me I sprung a leak on my lawn. Out I went to check it out. Sure enough a mini geyser was bubbling about a foot from the water shut off valve. My neighbor shut off my water while I tried to call a plumber to come out.

Called a couple of plumbers and just left messages. Upon calling Plumb Masters, someone answered. I told the man my issue. He stated he was on an emergency call already. He would swing by to check it out when he was finished. He is a man of his word. They came at 7:52PM. After looking it over, they determined they didn't have the parts. They promised to come between 8 and 10 on Monday with parts to fix it.

True to their word, they came at 10AM. By 12:30, I was with water again. The leak was only 10 inches under the sidewalk and it was a faulty valve. The cost was less than $500.00. The joy of taking a shower was priceless.

Thank goodness I had some bottles of water so I was able wash my hands, brush my teeth, feed the cats but not much more. My apologies to Dunkin Donuts for coming in stinky to get much needed coffee. But I should not have gotten the donut as I used the last of my water to wash the sugar off my hands.

I would highly recommend Plumb Masters as they were professional and efficient.

We just moved into a new house and were having some issues with a leak. The plumber our landlord had put us in touch with did not return our calls. Plumb Masters set up an appointment for two days later.

The techs arrived promptly. I very much appreciated the way they took the time to explain each and every problem and possible solutions. Every single charge was explained and we gave our approval before they continued. The prices were extremely reasonable, they worked quickly, and were kind and helpful. We will definitely contact Plumb Masters for any further issues we have and definitely recommend them to everyone.

Called yesterday to make an Appointment. Said they'd get out to the house between 8-10am the next morning. So I take off of work to accomodate their schedule. When they don't show at 8:30ish I call and see what their schedule is looking like. They tell me they had a bunch of people call in sick and that 12:00 is more realistic. I said that messes up my schedule for working from home and that Im going to goto work and come home at noon which they said was fine. I goto work, then get home at 12:00. I decided to call at 12:30 to see where they are and they told me they were at the house at 10 and I wasn't there (my phone has a call made at 10:10 direct to voicemail from them). I then reiterated to them that we agreed 12 noon and that is when I expected them - not 10. They apologized and tried to set something up for the next day. MY response? *Nobody got time for that!* I said forget it and called someone else.

Then, they had the audacity to turn around and send me a bill for THEIR missed appointment. This last bit gets the one star.

An hour after returning from out of town taking care of some business for my elderly mother, the City of Austin showed up to tell me that I had a bad water leak. I immediately called Plumb Masters after seeing their reviews on Yelp. I had a bit of a rough start with getting the problem fixed because the Service Manager went out of town without getting the 811 people scheduled to map out the utilities, but Tara and Jennifer saved the day. Then Samuel came on Saturday and replaced the failed shutoff valve which had been buried underground and also installed a pressure reduction valve for me. He did an awesome job because he had to avoid electricity, internet, cable, and phone, which were all surrounding the area which contained the failed shutoff valve. He avoided all the hazards!
I highly recommend the folks at Plumb Masters. I would hire them again.

I had a good experience with Plumb Masters after piercing a neighbor's water line at dusk on a Saturday evening while aerating the soil. Doh. Feeling terrible, I knew I had to bite the bullet and pay someone a lot of money to fix the line that night if at all possible. After trying five companies, I thought I'd have to put my neighbor up into a hotel, but Plumb Masters was the only one to call back with good news -- five minutes after I left a message. Jamie and Jordan got here by about 10:00pm, wearing masks, and promptly got my neighbor online again by cutting out and replacing a foot of underground copper pipe. I knew I would pay the extra weekend fee, but it was not exorbitant, especially considering the time of night. I was afraid they would inflate the whole price since I was in no position to bargain. But the price seemed very fair. I'll be using them again.

Professional, fast, courteous, experienced. From the front desk phone call to the onsite was smooth and on time. They give arrival windows which is to be expected for a business with lots of the unexpected. Gage and Robert replaced the wax ring, and completed my install of a Japanese bidet toilet seat. Gage successfully diagnosed the original wax ring issue and when installing the new one made sure it was high enough to provide a proper seal. This put my mind at ease because the toilet was just 2.5 years old. They were courteous, fast, professional and stayed focused while answering all my questions and pointing out the details and things to watch out for in the future. I appreciate that a lot. It helps me manage future problems. I will call them again for any future issues.

Clay and Jordan are THE BEST. I had a tight window of time, and they made it work with their schedule. They found the issue quickly, explained it in terms I could understand, and got the job done - same day. Super nice guys. Just bought an older home that of course came with some minor plumbing issues. Called Plumb Masters and they came out the same day. Clay and Jordan took care of all the minor leaks, wobbly pipes, etc and found the problem of my low water pressure. They needed a special part to fix that so they came back 2 days later with the part and everything works great now. The guys are super knowledgeable, respectful and helpful. I'm super happy with them and will be calling them for all my plumbing needs. Quality service for sure.

I called yesterday to schedule a maintenance check to fulfill a platinum warranty we purchased a year ago; got it scheduled the next day. We had sewage backing up into our downstairs shower and needed help immediately. Within a couple hours Cody Willis and Marco Vera from Plumb Masters were over here. I called this company to get help with a leaky shower head and to get an overall inspection of my plumbing to prevent any potential problems in the future. I saw the company had good reviews so I gave them a call.

The company will quickly sell you on this Gold and Platinum packages... DO NOT fall for it! There are many quality companies that offer FREE estimates. The gold package is $189 and is suppose to include the following:
Entitiles you to Value Rate Pricing, Receive Priority, Service Status, Never Pay a Service Call Charge, Water Heater Flush and Visual Inspection of Plumbing System.

The company sent out Clay and Patrick. They were friendly but did a poor job diagnosing my problem. They recommend a new water heater, shower head and pipe to fix the problem. I decided to get a second opinion with a company that does FREE estimates. Luckily, they solved my shower leak by simply replacing a cartridge. How did Clay and Patrick miss that??

I definitely regret calling this company. I'm out $189 with nothing done. Stick to free estimates and always get a second opinion.

This company was recommended to me by another plumber for what was described to me as a pretty difficult water heater replacement job. Plumb Masters was very responsive from my first call until they left the job. They came out immediately to assess and do the installation and quoted a very reasonable price compared to two other plumbers I had called.

The best part is how professional, courteous, and honest these guys are. Turned out, this was an electrical problem. Plumb Masters contacted an electrician and he was calling me and out to my house within a few hours. I would highly recommend this company and will use them again.

We have an older home, built in the 1950's, and a lot of issues have arose over time. One of them is that the sinks in both kitchens (we have a mother-in-law suite in the back addition) have slowly started to clog. We've tried everything, bio-clean, liquid plumbr, cheap lowes routers, and nothing has solved the issue for long. Finally with the recent rain, the drains both clogged and we had weird sounds from the air vent as well.

I contacted Blue Dragon; since they are usually booked weeks in advance, they will refer you to really good plumbers. They told me to call Plumb Masters.

I called in the morning close to 9 AM, spoke to a pleasant lady who said they could have someone onsite between 2-6 PM today. I was extremely happy for the response time, since both sinks were down.

Around 12:30, I received a call from Travis asking if he could come early since they had a cancellation. I quickly agreed and he showed up about 10 minutes later. He got right to work, busting through multiple clogs in the main kitchen sink, but he said it didn't sound right as it drained. He worked on it some more, even getting up on the roof and water blasting the air trap. After he felt 100% sure that it was sounding and working right, he pronounced it fixed.

Travis then moved to the back sink and did the same, busting through years of clog buildup and possibly even some that had petrified. Now the back sink, which never drained properly, works like a charm!

Travis was very friendly, professional, and willing to explain what he was doing to a novice like me. He also didn't freak out about my dogs (little ones), letting them smell him and laughing as they ran around barking. Finally, after it was all said and done, he discounted the two sinks and the washer room drain (I had asked him to check and give me a ballpark if it wasn't something simple), making me very happy.

I recommend Travis and Plumb Masters to anyone who needs some plumbing work done. Thanks guys!

Mark is a professional con artist. He came out to give me a bid, I remodeled my bathroom and needed the trim in the shower installed, and 2 faucets and the plumbing connected on a new vanity. I had all the parts, I just needed a professional to install (labor only). Mark came to assess the work and wanted to charge me $1400 for everything. In the bid, he was charging me $750 just to install the faucets. Seriously!!! Mark tried telling me the job would take 5-6 hours! I had two other companies come out to bid the job and one company quoted $400 for everything and another quoted $425 for everyting. Both companies said it would take about 2-3 hours to complete.
The drastic difference of Master Plumbing bid compared to the other two companies was astonishing. I was so disgusted with Master Plumbing, I wanted to share my experience with the public! So, nobody falls prey to their lies and price gouging.
Always, try and get 3 quotes from professionals, but don't waste your time with Master Plumbing.

I have a plumbing emergency at 8pm and these guys were there in 20 minutes to solve it! They were fast. The plumber that came did not have the part he needed. He went to get it and was back quickly to fix the problem and leave things better than he found it. Highly recommend for plumbing emergencies. It was not cheap, as you can imagine any after hours plumbing service would be, but good! No complaints!

I cant say enough good about Plumb Masters! I had my main sewer line replaced in 2 stages. First was outside the house to the street, then from outside to back under the house. I must say Wayne and Manny (and the rest of the crew) did an amazing job. They did the first part in September and it was HOT! These guys worked hard the whole time digging trenches and getting the correct fall on the pipe.

I think I was more impressed with the work under the house. We have an old pier and beam home and there is only about about 12-18 inches of space under the home. These guys did an amazing job, they must have been under the house for 5 hours! They kept a positive attitude the whole time, I could here them chatting and laughing under the house. Pretty amazing to be in that crappy, tight and dirty space and be positive about it. They also worked past 5pm (in the dark) to finish the job so we could use our plumbing, they truly went above and beyond.

I just wanted to say thanks to Plumb Masters, Wayne, Manny and the rest of the crew they did a great job and couldn't be happier. I would recommend these guys for any job.

My garage ceiling was leaking so I called Blue Dragon plumbing, but they were too booked so Blue Dragon referred me to this business. HUGE MISTAKE!!!

The first person that came out charged me $265 for time, labor, estimation cost, and to replace a seal on the master bedroom toilet. He failed to check that this corrected the plumbing problem and soon after my garage ceiling was leaking again. Keep in mind this person was actually really kind and even repaired the drywall when he was done.

My wife called to ask the business to come back out. She spoke to the owner and he agreed to not charge for the second visit trouble shoot of the leak. However, the moment the person they sent to the job arrived he began to argue with my wife that he would not perform any inspection of the leak unless she agreed to pay for the inspection. My wife then calls the owner back and ask him to talk to his employee which happens, so the plumber decides to inspect the garage ceiling. He makes to sizeable holes in the drywall and proceeds to tell my wife he doesn't see an issue. He does find that the AC was the source of the problem and tells my wife she needs to call an AC repair man. Then to finish the visit he attempts to charge my wife $265 for the entire visit while doing nothing. Some how he leaves without her needing to pay anything due to the owner again telling the plumber to not charge. My wife does ask the plumber if he can repair the drywall but he explains that he cannot but the company has a second contractor that can do that. She ask if they can contact her to come out, but no one ever does so we have 2 massive holes wasting energy in our garage ceiling.

1 week later I get a call from a Mandy at their office that I owe $265 for the second visit. We have discussion, to say the least, that nothing was done on the second visit and my wife has handled this matter with the owner. Mandy agrees after speaking with the owner and apologizes for the clerical error and follows up with offering to have our drywall repaired. I never hear back from the company again.

We had a terrible experience with this company and would never use them again, or recommend them to anyone. Our washer machine drainage overflowed. We called PlumbMater and the dispatch told me it will be $89 to get detailed reports and located the problem. When the tech/owner Mark shoed up he said for $89 he is not going to do anything but he will take a look after 20 minutes he said he can fix the problem for $291,80. I told him it is not what the dispatch told me but if you can fixed if for that amount go head. After 30 minutes he said we are all done and everything working perfectly. I paid him and send him away. Right after they left I started the washer to find out the it is still leaking. I called the tech/owner Mark and he said he need to put the camera down the drainage to find the problem and it will cost around $600. I said no way and I asked for my money back and he Laughed at me.

I was referred to Plumb Master by another plumber who said that if I had an older home that it would be better to contact Plumb Master. They returned my call same day. They had somebody out next day. The two gentleman that showed up were incredibly professional, very clean, and easily fixed the four plumbing issues that I had. It seems like this organization that has their process down, has good plumbers, and good follow up. I'll definitely be calling them back.

I had a great experience work with Geronimo and his apprentice. They moved a bathroom from one location to another in my business and made the entire process stress-free. They always called when they were about 20 minutes away, worked quickly and professionally, and gave me a very honest rate. These guys stepped up to the plate when several other companies were too busy. A rental property had a problem with the pilot light staying lit on the water heater.
I got to tell you it's frustrating sometimes to have to work immediately when it is a tenant situation- but that's being a landlord. Anyway, Plumb Masters were willing and able to go out of their way to work with the tenants' schedule and report all the issues to them and also back to me.
Jay and Andy politely met the tenants and went straight to work. I got a call from Jay stating the issue was most likely the thermostat was set to the maximum and the unit was shutting down as a precaution, he explained to the tenant the water doesn't need to be set at maximum temp. and he figured most likely that should solve the problem. Simply turn down the heat- He called me and explained the situation and that there could possibly be another problem, but let's not spend all that money, until we are sure. (??!!!?) *Did I just hear that correctly? He wasn't trying to sell me a bunch of stuff I didn't need? WOW.
Turns out it was just the cost of a service call.
Couple days later the tenant calls again and said problem wasn't solved, call Plum Masters again* I wasn't at all bothered because Jay let me know there could be other problems, he just didn't want to jump the gun. They readily go back out- did not charge another service call charge, which I think was very cool, and proceed to change out the T&P valve. Jay reports back to me that could definitely have been a problem because it was corroded**they even emailed pics of the procedure and faulty parts that were replaced! I really appreciate how the troubleshoot a problem without going overboard, and are not trying to keep charging service charges if the problem persists. I want to make it clear, they didn't misdiagnose the problem, they just chip away at it until it is solved. It may take a bit longer to fix, but it is better than spending more than necessary.
These are my Go-To guys from now on- I would most certainly recommend them.

The two guys who came out here were very nice. I will say that. But they came out to fix my water heater, assessed that the issue was with a device that is attached to the water heater, called a water heater timer, and told me I needed to call an electrician. They charged me $90 for their time and left.

So basically, I still have a non-operational water heater, am out $90 and when I am googling water heater time repair it's pulling up search results for plumbers.

I take some of the blame, as I should have called a place that does free assessments/estimates, but these guys came highly recommended. Guess I learned a lesson.

It's been smelling like farts and sewage in the house for over a year. Several plumbers have come by, but none have fixed the problem until Matt & co from Plumb Masters came. We broke an outside hose bib (trying to replace it!) and broke the pipe - on a Sunday!!! I called Plumb Masters and the very helpful scheduler set up and appt for 8-10 the next day (Monday). I was referred to Plumb Masters by another company and boy I'm I glad they did. PM was the 4th company that I had come out. Each previous company was unreliable, unprofessional, or downright dishonest. From the the scheduling to the onsite visit with PM they were extremely pleasant and professional. Cody and Robert were 2 of the best service guys I have dealt with. They were respectful, knowledgeable, informative and just plain good guys. They were able to fix my clog and make some additional recommendations. I'm 100% satisfied with the service I received. Eric was wonderful to work with, he was personable, professional, and skilled. They did great work running a gas line, installing a gas oven, and hooking up my kitchen sink, disposal, and dishwasher. Everything looks great, works perfect, and it was reasonably priced to boot. This company is amazing! I have used them twice - the first time these guys came the house on a Sunday evening to replace our badly leaking water heater!! Not only were they fast, but the price was reasonable and fair. Since they did such a great job I called them again several months later for a job at another property. I had an issue with what I thought would be a simple washing machine installation from Lowe's. The delivery man noticed my faucets were leaking and needed replacement ASAP. I contacted Plumb Masters to fix a kitchen water heater that was not heating. The heating coil had burned out. They came to fix it and all seemed fine, but then we had a leak the next day under our sink that had not been there before. When I called them back to come and fix that they scheduled someone fairly quickly and fixed the leak, but charged me for a service charge. I would have thought they would have either not charged or reduced the price of the second visit as that leak was not there before the first visit. When I left a message after thvisit about a copy of the receipt that they did not leave, I did not get a response.

These guys are good people, who really care about doing a good job. Wayne and Todd worked on a complex 2 day water heater relocation and other plumbing cleanup job that some other plumbing companies wouldn't tackle. I've used Plumb Masters twice in the last month. On both occasions, Clay and Jordan were my plumbing team. Their first visit was to remove a clog on my washout that was causing a backup in my home. Not only did they remove the clog, they installed a valve that would open to prevent any further backup should another clog occur. Today they came out to fix a problem with the foot pedals at my main kitchen sink. They quickly identified the problem, fixed it quickly and efficiently. Both Clay and Jordan are professionals. I've used Plumb Masters on multiple occasions and they've sent different guys each time but they're all great. Today it was Cody and Brian, both super friendly, good communicators and very efficient. I called them to look at our grinder pump because a warning alarm was active, and instead of telling us we need a new pump or a new control panel (which some shady vendors might do) they said it just needed two $11 parts to fix. They also investigated a very slow drip in the basement area and tracked it to a bad seal on a toilet on the floor above, so they reset that toilet and made it all like new. Very highly recommended!

Andrew's price on a tankless water heater was so much more reasonable than the other estimate I received from one of the large plumbing companies, that I decided to let him install one in our home.

Let me say that I have never received such prompt, professional service from a plumbing company in my life. Andrew was there bright and early when he said he would be, and when he was finished, we were very impressed with the job that he did for us. We have since had hime do some drain work for us, and have recommended him to our friends.

Just a note: The city of Austin is offering a $600 rebate on tankless water heaters right now. In addition to that, Andrew is offering a $500 discount on a tankless. This deal cannot be beat!! A company is entitled to set their own prices. We are entitled to opine on Yelp about those prices. Called Plumb Masters to run a camera through the cleanout as I had a blockage last week that was cleared out by another plumber who didn't have a camera. Plumb Masters quoted me $385. Called another plumbing outfit that has offices in several cities across Texas and their quote was half of Plumb Masters. Be sure to get quotes from other companies before going with Plumb Masters.

I called PlumbMasters July 4th, 2014 - after calling 9 other plumbers in Austin who didn't pick up. I found them on Angie's List actually. Only a couple of my other preferred plumbers called me back with such high hourly prices (one was $440 hour with a 2 hour min!) that our ceiling leak (upstairs neighbor's AC) looked like it was going to have to wait an addtl 3 days till Monday roiled around and all our sheet rock caved in....

Andrew deferred to his wife as to whether to come who said yes - bless her wee heart! Andrew and his dad Harry showed up a couple of hours later and for $350 (included a $145 up charge for a holiday call)- they assessed the problem, replaced some PVC, blew out the algae laden overflows on the neighbor's AC and we were then able to start the 3 day drying process with fans before sealing up the sheetrock again.

So I've got this toilet that wouldnt stop draining and slowly leaking into the basin and I just never got around to fixing it. I knew it had to be switching out all the parts at the top that lets the water flush in. Well, I got tired of it enough to call Plumb Masters and I'm glad I did! Plumb Masters was hired as part of a major renovation that required trenching and laying new lines. Gage and Rob did most of the work and I was impressed with the way they worked together and with the project manager to solve problems as they arose, not the least of which was diplomatically handling a particularly nasty neighbor who was trying to make trouble. We are living in one room while the rest of the house is being redone, and we appreciate that they made sure any necessary service interruptions were as short as possible.

Blue Dragon recommended Plumb Masters. Other plumbers told me replacing my trap under slab was going to cost up to $5000 and tear up a lot of my kitchen, so ok, I wanted some new cabinets anyway. I finally scheduled the job and got stood up--thank goodness. Started over with Plumb Masters who did the work for thousands less, including tile and drywall repair(!), and pulled up exactly two square feet of floor! And jackhammered without dust! It's kind of a miracle. A little disappointing, though; now I don't have an excuse to get new cabinets.

Scam alert!

1) I got no prior notification there would be a NINETY DOLLAR diagnosis charge--not from the scheduler, not from the website. The plumber is the first person who told me about the fee. These fees, while being promoted by companies, are BAD for us consumers. The plumber simply has no skin in the game. If you come out to give me a bid and get nothing from it, you're motivated to earn my business, so more likely to give me a fair bid. When you're going to make $90 for 15 minutes of talking, there is no incentive for your company to give me a good bid. You could bid $9000 for a $100 job. What do you care? You're making your $90 if the customer declines. If I pay the $9000, you're super happy at all of the crazy-money you're getting. You can't lose, and you also know as a customer, I can't really seek several 'bids' at $90 a pop. With NO WORK being done, I would already be out $270. I'm penalized for taking bids. BAD BUSINESS! BAD PRACTICE!

2) Your actual bid of $700 for my very simple issue was extremely high. It's insultingly high. The technician tried to sell something I didn't need--a water hammer arrestor. Sounds like a cool, expensive part, and probably many people don't bother researching stuff, but it's 10 bucks at Home Depot. Installing it is a snap, but my research showed that part is only used if you have water hammer issues--which we clearly don't. After telling me the cost for what I wanted wasn't going to be very high, the technician went and talked on the phone in his van for 10 minutes before coming back and trying to sell the arrestor and the $700 for basic plumbing idea.

3) This experience with your company has made me feel like Plumb Masters is not an honest company and the plumbing industry has declined as a legitimate service industry company. I feel less safe to call a plumber for any service after this experience, and I think that's a bad thing for your industry and your company. I certainly won't be shy about sharing my experience with friends and family, with negative reviews where it matters, and by contacting whatever oversight body governs your industry. They need to know what's going on. My goal is to change your minds about how you do business. I hope to convince others how corrosive your policies are. Customers need to stop paying prices that are clearly gouging and STOP paying the bidding fee. You shouldn't have to pay for companies to give you bids for their service. It is THEIR cost of doing business--NOT YOURS!

I hope your company will reconsider your policies. Make/provide a good product, sell it for a fair price, stand behind your work. It's an old idea, but I think it was pretty good, and the industry is worse since abandoning it.

IF IT SEEMS DRAMATICALLY TOO EXPENSIVE, IT PROBABLY IS!

You will get your plumbing needs professionally completed and fast with Plumb Masters. Of course, I recommend them.
Today, Eric replaced a leaking, (almost running), hose bib/faucet in our backyard in less than 30 minutes after walking through our front door. In addition, we had a leak in the downspout from our reverse osmosis unit underneath our kitchen sink. This too was resolved quickly.
While writing this review, I remember a large job they completed for us this past Christmas. This is more like a drama than plumbing. Five days before Christmas our so-called contractor walked off the job. Why? That is a story, not a review. We were having our master bath remodeled completely, with a designated completion date not later than November. Our sons and their families, 13 people, were coming home from overseas for Christmas. I went to Plumb Masters office to plead my case. On the twenty-third of December, the toilet, both sinks, the Jacuzzi tub and the shower were installed and working. Needless to say, we were not only happy but grateful for Plumb Masters.

I haven't used their service, but I called them Friday night because my toilet was leaking (at the shut off valve) and had to turn the main water to the house off. I called them first because of great reviews. I left them a message with my phone number, and the problem. Didn't hear back from them until MONDAY afternoon. I understand that they get busy, but 3 days later? Needless to say, I used someone else Saturday morning. (Rotor rooters) and the guy was over at my house and repaired the problem in less than 2 hours. I hope this is just a fluke calling back so late.

I have used these guys twice and both times the plumber that came out was professional and honest. On the first occasion I was quoted a price for pressure regulator. Once he got to digging 2 feet into the lawn he found out that one of the parts (butterfly value) was not needed, so instead of replacing it and charging me he actually told me it wasn't needed and reduced the price of the estimate. Very honest.
The second time they came out same day for a water leak. The gentleman that assisted was very honest and prompt in fixing the issue. I will continue to use Plumb Masters for all my needs going forward

Efficient, courteous, good value and now our go-to-company for any future plumbing issues.

Well tank and softener mixing tank gave up the ghost after 20+ years on a Saturday evening leaving us without running water. Called Andrew that evening and explained the situation and told him we knew that things could not start until Monday because no one is just sitting around with pressurized water tanks to sell on the weekend.
Andrew came out Sunday to look in order to give us an estimate. Monday afternoon and the estimate was put together and we all agreed that work would start on Tuesday.

Work commenced and proceeded smoothly until they ran into a couple more parts (pressure switch) that had also run its course. After tracking the part down the guys (Harry and Bill) came back and asked if we minded if they worked late. Of course not! We had been without water for 3 1/2 days and were anxious to have running water again. Little did we expect them to complete the job that evening; but by 12:30 AM Wednesday morning everything was up and running!

Not only did they do an outstanding job with fit and finish they came back the next day and cleaned up and hauled off the old tanks. Andrew Kendall and crew - you the bomb!

After calling 7 other plumbers on a Sunday morning I finally found Plumb Masters & I'm so glad! From my 1st call with Mandy to her ability to find a technician in less than 15 mins., I was so relieved. No one else answered their phones or returned my calls to the other businesses, even though they all say they work Sundays for emergent needs.

Within a couple of hrs. the greatest professional, Jason Van Pelt, came to my rescue. I had a leak outside my home by my foundation & was so worried there was a problem in the slab. Jason dug in horrible mud & removed giant 3 ft rocks until he saw that one of them had compromised a joint in the PVC pipe. He didn't give up until he found the culprit, even though the digging was extremely difficult & the rocks weighed a ton.
Further he was so cheerful, beyond courteous and he smiled the whole time! He kept assuring me that if the leak was too hard to find without a team to dig the whole line, that he'd be back with help. And, he kept saying that he wanted to make sure to save me money and would make the best decision for me. Fortunately, he found the leak himself and took care of everything. He was such a nice person in every way and I will request him for any future needs. Plumb Master is fortunate to have such a professional on their team!

I hate to leave a bad review, but like many others on here I feel like I got ripped off by this company. I called them to get a second opinion on fixing my hot water heater because I couldn't get the pilot light lit. After looking at it for 30 minutes, they told me the same thing the first plumber told me, except they wanted $250 more to do it. Which I couldn't believe. I had agreed to pay the $89 just for them to come look at it, with the expectation that they would roll that into the final bill. I just didn't expect them to try and over charge me so excessively. That $89 is just a way to lock you in and then over charge you for their services. I will say that everyone I talked with was very friendly, especially the two guys who came out. I know it's not their fault the company is price gouging. But getting robbed is still getting robbed. Whether it's with a smile to my face or gun to my back.

We have hot water thanks these guys! After making an appointment for later in the week, these guys were able to stop by after finishing another appointment nearby. They were very patient and answered all my questions about hot water heaters and what options we had. Very satisfied with their work and would definitely call them again for future plumbing issues.

I found a leak on the main water line out by the street on a Saturday. I looked online, called a few places that wanted to charge an arm and a leg for weekend service. I called Plumb Masters, explained what was going on and they quoted the best price of any place I'd called. The guy came out at the time I was told, did the work quickly at the price I was quoted. These guys are great!! I wouldn't use anyone else in the Leander area.

David really saved the day when he came out after the New Years holiday to install a waterline for a new refrigerator installation. We had called several plumbers over the holiday weekend who refused to change out an old copper line, or just would not take a Saturday call. He and his apprentice explained everything up front and cleaned up the work space afterwards. Reasonably price, prompt and cordial!

Found Plumb Masters on yelp with excellent reviews, they helped with a clogged sink drain and replacing a toilet that turned out to be incorrectly installed from previous contractors work. This team is great - straight up, prompt, and guarantee their work. Keeping them in my contacts for all future plumbing needs. Highly recommend!

Called PlumbMasters to hook up a water softener that I had purchased elsewhere and assembled. The gent that took my call was very (very!) polite and well-spoken, and gave me a very reasonable price range to do the work (just install a cut-off valve in an existing copper softener loop, connect loop to water softener, and install drain line), and was able to come the next day to do the work. (I'm afraid I don't recall the guy's name.) Turned out, there were some problems with the installation -- the most significant of which was that a leak formed where the cut-off valve was installed after I'd paid for the work and they had left my home. Now, you're probably wondering why I'd give a plumber 5 stars when a simple valve installation went wrong-- here's why: When I called the next morning to inform them of the leak, the gent that did the installation apologized for the error, expressed his profound embarrassment, and pledged to re-do the entire job without any additional charge. Moreover, Andrew accompanied him (he had been out of town the day before), and did a lot of the re-work himself. On top of that, Andrew didn't just hook up the water softener, he did the start-up of the softener as well, which was never part of the job.

I'm old school. I know that mistakes happen. A good company makes few mistakes; but to me, the most important measure of how good and reputable a company is, is not how rarely they make mistakes, but how they *handle* the mistakes that inevitably occur. This company stands behind their work 100%. Andrew went above and beyond to correct the mistake, and left me with a fully-working water softener, professionally installed, and I'm 100% confident in the final result. And his original charge to do the work was very competitive-- I had one quote that was almost twice what Plumb Masters' quote was, and the guy that gave me the more expensive quote left me feeling that he could barely be bothered to do my work, and I'd be lucky if he felt like showing up within a week.

So, I am *happy* to recommend Plumb Masters, knowing that as a company, they are committed to do whatever job they bid on *right*, and they stand behind the work they do. I will absolutely call them again.

I wanted to update my bathroom fixtures and spend a reasonable amount of money. I hired someone else who left things leaking and loose and crooked. A friend referred Plumbmasters. Andrew came out and fixed all the problems right and for a rational amount of money. I had him bid a tankless hotwater heater and am seriously considering it as it was less expensive than other bids I'd gotten. Use these guys, they're great and fair

We came home yesterday at 1:30pm to find our water heater leaking. Plumb Masters were at our doorstep within 30 minutes to start the process of replacing the tank. By 5:15pm they were finished and on their way. They were the one and only plumber to call us from our Home Advisor request. They were courteous, professional and genuinely cared that we were taken care of. They did a fantastic job and made sure we were happy with the work that was done. I highly recommend them and will definitely use them for any and all of our future plumbing needs.

I recently had my tankless water heater flushed by Andrew. Andrew not only scheduled the appointment...he was also the one to come out and flush my tankless water heater. Since my wife is a graveyard nurse he was flexible and scheduled me at a time that would not interrupt her sleep before she went to work. Andrew was interested in solving problems and not selling things that were not needed. He was very quick to provide education and answer questions based on his experience and knowledge. I had questions beyond the job he was out to do and with zero hesitation he was quick to answer anything that came to mind. Andrew was professional, friendly, and simply enjoyable to be around. I consider myself fortunate to have had Andrew out at my place and without any hesitation I will definitely call him again. Andrew is AS GOOD AS IT GETS!

Andrew and Ian were great. They showed up on time and were sweet as could be. We were having an issue with our toilets clogging and garbage disposal erupting. within a few minutes they discovered the issue was the City waste water had backed up the lines of myself and all my neighbors. They called the City waste water management for me and the City fixed it that day. Will definitely be using Plumb Masters again.

After doing quite a bit of research and receiving several bids, we hired Plumb Masters to replace a faulty water pressure reducing valve and to install a gas log conversion kit. Not only did Andrew offer the best quote, he also did an excellent job. Andrew was personable, punctual, and made sure we were completely satisfied with the work before he considered the job done. He took time to explain what needed to be done and why--so I felt confident that I wasn't getting overcharged for unnecessary work. Both Andrew and John were extremely pleasant to work with, and I will definitely be using Plumb Masters again in the future.

Plumbmasters came out to inspect our water heaters. He was very thorough, explained what we should and shouldn't be doing with both our water heaters and how the connected/interacted with our water softener. We have some issues with water pressure and he was able to quickly determine the problem. What I really liked is that he gave us a time estimate on how soon it could become a bigger problem, what to expect so we'll know when to replace the part that is wearing down. There was no high pressure to do it now or we'll have a major catastrophe or offer us a price that's only good today, etc. He was reasonable and gave us a good education on how everything interacts and how we can help ourselves either fix some of the issues or use preventative measures to assist in increasing the life of our water related equipment. When we do need a plumber I will be calling Plumbmasters to do the job.
