My name is Tim and I’ve been doing handyman and construction for about 10 years. I am the owner of a home repair and maintenance company. I requested help mounting my TV to the wall and hiding the wires in my apartment. I am beyond happy with the work. 10/10. Highly recommend. For someone like me who isn't very great with tools, the service was more than valuable.
Svetlana, the scheduler, was responsive with scheduling and flexible to my availability. They were nice enough to come the day after Christmas, which was technically a federal holiday. She told me the price up front. She also found me a wire cover on Amazon to order and sent me instructions on how to purchase them.
Artsem, the technician, arrived mostly on time (within the window I was given). He was very friendly and efficient. He wasted no time in getting the TV measured and holes drilled. The entire process took about one hour. He also was very tidy, laying down paper towels before drilling and cleaning up his area. He made sure everything was adjusted to the height I preferred. I really appreciated his insight on where to place the wires to make the console look most beautiful. His expertise was apparent throughout. At one point the drill bit I was sent along with the wire hiding kit broke. Luckily, Artsem came prepared with a spare bit and everything was saved.
The price, including the $50 deposit, came out to $215 for the wire hiding and mounting. I paid $50 beforehand and $165 after completion. I'd say it's worth it. He came with all the tools, on time, and finished the job quickly. Everything is straight and level too. He also told me to save the pieces he drilled out from the wall so that I could fix the wall when I move out from my rented place. I appreciate that he's thinking ahead like that. Last, he accepts Venmo. Overall, a great value and a great team of folks.

Tim Golden Hands comes through once again. Hired them for kitchen sink faucet replacement.
Flawless job. Job did not come without a few challenging obstacles, but Artsem pushed through and found a way to get the job done.
I really appreciate Artsem and the passion and effort he has to ensure any job is completed to perfection.
It's nice knowing I have a go-to handyman who is honest, hard-working and amazingly priced for work I need help with around the house.

Needed someone to fix my tenants leaky drain in the sink. I got in touch with these guys and originally was skeptical do to their phone number but Artsem was legit. He was very nice and more importantly fixed the issue.
He was supposed to arrive between 3-5 but came later. He was great in that he at least gave me a call to let me know he would come later and then upon arrival was apologetic for his lateness and provided a small discount which I appreciated. Finally the nicest part is we had to go into my tenants place because that's where the issue was. They are Asian and Artsem was kind enough to take off his shoes before entering the residence which of course he didn't have to. Overall the guy seemed very nice and of good character!

I called the golden hands for my toilet which was leaking downstairs, Artsem was great! Although he was a bit late but he came prepared, went to work immediately and was very professional and neat. He took care of the problem and installed the toilet and now it's functioning perfectly. The price was very reasonable and it was the same amount they told me on the phone, no surprises or extra fees. He even installed a valve for free for me!

Tim came out to fix my tenants shower. His communication was excellent, price reasonable but most importantly great workmanship. I would recommend his company 100%.

My family and I recently moved into a new home in Hoboken. There were a number of issues with the place, so we needed a handyman to come by and tackle a number of tasks. I went on Yelp to find someone and Tim Golden Hands had one of the highest ratings, and rightfully so.
I asked Tim to come and help with re-securing a toilet, replacing a trip lever in a toilet and replacing a kitchen faucet. He did so efficiently and reliably well. He communicated with me throughout the processes and explained the issues. I trusted the work he did and he cleaned up afterwards. I would highly recommend him and I plan to use him again for all problems around the home.
Very disappointed with Tim Golden hands. They responded that they could do a job for us and bailed last minute. We waisted time going back and forth with the planning and then they said they are unavailable. Not reliable at all!!!! Very unprofessional too.
Absolutely one of the best--had a great eye with regard to hanging my art collection along with being professional and using elevated digital lasers to perfectly execute the project.
Pricing quote came promptly and my work was scheduled within 24 hrs., communication was awesome, and he even checked existing artwork I had hung myself! Hire them-you won't regret it!

Each service we've had has been great. Everything from simple fixes to sink removal and install was a breeze. Highly recommended.
Hired for a small plumbing job. Honest, responsive, no hassle quote process. Was a non emergency but they were able to accomodate us quickly.
Job was done right and when they noticed a small fitting needed replacement, there was no drama, only upcharged for the actual part ($5) and took care of it during the window of labor time originally quoted.
Note, they do ask for a deposit but they kept their word on appointment, quality of work and price. Was well worth it.
I wanted to hire him and he wanted $50 sent to him via via IAM some money thing Venmo I don't know anything about Venmo and I think that's really poor business. I would not use him he wants money upfront to secure the appointment and I think that's really shifty.

We had an issue with our toilet in Forest Hills and we reached out. He came in a few hours after our call! He was able to fix part of it. He came the next week to do another part that had a leak and he serviced it FOC. (of course remember to tip!!!) Very fair pricing! (cheaper than all the other guys we called)

I can't say enough good things about Tim! He was super responsive throughout the process, even as I asked a myriad of questions, he was so patent and knowledgable. He arrived to our home and got straight to work, asking questions to ensure that the tv mounting was to our liking. He did such a good job, was precise and was fast. He even swept up afterwards. Amazing experience with Tim. He was very responsive and his quote was considerably lower than all the others received. Super friendly, and his customer service is great -- doesn't try to nickel and dime you for small things.
He came to fix a leak in the pipes below my kitchen sink, and he cleaned up all the damage and connected the dishwasher hookup as well. He also fixed some hinges on my cabinet. He takes pride in his work and it shows in the finished product.
100% will call him again if I need anything else fixed. Tim is awesome!

Professional service and was able to install my closet shelf. Tim went out of his way to get additional equipment to install successfully the closet. Tim knows what he is doing and overcame the challenges to install the closet set into a 100 year old home! Highly recommend to use for anyone that needs assistance with home appliances installation.

Tim was absolutely amazing!! He arrived when he said he would and was meticulous in his work. He double checked with me before each project to make sure I liked the position of the paintings/mirror/shelves and took his time. He was friendly, fairly priced, and cared about the project. I wanted to hang 4 pieces of art that I loved (of all different sizes ) in my dining room and he gave me great suggestions on different ways to do it, and the result was just perfect! Don't be surprised if a simple work request that is stated they do, is turned down without explanation as what happened to me.
I needed a project done and Tim showed up on time and was very professional. We actually had him come back today for another job and it was done professionally as well.

Highly recommend!!! Reasonable pricing and really great work. They fixed our plumbing problems (leaks, clogs, and broken toilets) and installed a water line. They also fixed minor things to help avoid future problems. They will definitely be our go-to people for just about any repair since we trust them to efficiently fix it themselves, or help us understand what specialist we need to fix it.

Artem installed a new medicine cabinet for me and did a wonderful job. His manager was extremely responsive and Artem was very professional and diligent. He did a great job on the installation, lining up the cabinet perfectly, and even cleaned up thoroughly after he was done. I would definitely use Tim Golden Hands again!
They did an excellent job installing 2 ceiling fans for me. I will definitely use them again in the future
Tim did a fantastic job on my drains! Pulled a hefty amount of gunk out and now it is draining seamlessly. He took less than 30 minutes to do the job on two drains, and he even offered to help with one of my faucets that broke.

I hired this company to change three faucets and two bathroom light fixtures
The guy came in, he was very nice, very creative, very professional and very informative.
He did his work and cleaned afterwards.
In one instance, I didn't have the necessary part for one of my faucets. He went out to Home Depot and got the part.
He was quiet which was great because one of my tenants was sleeping. So he was mindful of that.
I plan to hire them for my next project in a couple of weeks.
As long as they are in business they will be my go to company
Hands down you don't need no one else
Again, I highly recommend them. You won't regret it.

I reached out to Tim for help mounting a 60 TV and a very large wooden piece of art. He was very easy to communicate with over text messages and showed up exactly when he said he would. I honestly wasn't sure to expect in terms of his expertise - his website isn't thorough enough, really - but he knew exactly what he was doing and put my mind at ease immediately. Excellent experience with Tim! Professional, happy to help, and a keen eye for solving problems quickly, efficiently, and without breaking the bank. He fixed shelves and a mirror that were improperly mounted by a person on TaskRabbit. After that, he offered to do any other quick jobs...so he mounted our over-toilet bathroom cabinet AND another little shelf in minutes. When all was said and done, Tim also began to clean up.
The quote was prompt, communication was easy and direct, and he was on time and worked quickly and well even with our dog walking around. I look forward to his returning when we need other handyman assistance!

Highly recommend. Great service, fast communication, and clean work. Like other reviews have mentioned he took off his shows without being asked, worked quickly, and cleaned up after he was done. The price quoted is the price charged althougg he did some extras like caulking around my faucet and attempting to find the stopper for my bathtub by running to a nearby hardware store. He did a great job installing my medicine cabinet and a towel bar in stone tile without cracking it. Very precise me, he made sure I was good with the positioning before starting work and used a laser pointer abd level to make sure everything was perfectly straight. Would hire again.

I had a kitchen sink leak. Responded quickly and was a able to fix promptly. Not the cheapest, charged $180, but was professional and prompt. Sometimes worth spending a little extra for quality work and professionalism.
My daughter hired this company to hang/assemble a few items in her JC apartment. She was so happy she did! I believe Tim was the one who came by. She called to tell me how professional and knowledgeable Tim was. Excellent customer service from start to finish. Tim was very kind and the quality of work was above and beyond.
Great work! Showed up ready to work and with materials and work was done in under one hour. We had an issue with our Kitchen sink where the pipe rusted and basically popped. They were straightforward with prices, and helped us get the work done easily and efficiently. Will be using again!

I have hired Artsem several times for small jobs around the house -- mounting lights, shelves, mirrors etc and I will never hire anyone else for these kinds of tasks. He is so nice, very polite and professional and always responds quickly and does a great job. You can tell he cares about great service since he guarantees his work for 30 days. It can be kind of nerve wracking to invite someone into your house (especially if you're working from home alone) but he wore a mask the entire time and I felt very safe. Highly recommend!

I told them what we needed done. They did not mention they would send someone who is not a plumber. The handyman was unable to turn off water to fix our main problem so we now have to hire someone else who is a plumber to come fix the problem.

We had a kitchen faucet leaking for quite sometime and we decided to change it. I called Tim Golden hands because of the good reviews he had. Atraen, the owner came and was on time, changed the kitchen faucet and also hang a towel bar that was loose in the bathroom.
He was fast, polite, with a nice smile, and I would call him again for another. Highly recommended
Tim worked for me and fixed my toilet. I saw that he also did furniture assembly and asked about job I would have in a month or so about helping to disassemble furniture. He said he did that kind of work and would bring another guy with him if the job needed two people. However, when I contacted him about it he replied that he didn't do that kind of work. I also texted him a week ago about another issue and never heard back. In following up he did not respond and claimed to offer services he no longer does. I adjusted my review because of these factors. He cannot assemble heavy furniture that requires more than one person.

Tim is an all-purpose handyman who I contacted for a small plumbing job replacing rotting pipe parts for a kitchen sink. I called Tim to help me with a leaking sink. He came over on time and fixed the issue. Even going back and forth to home depot o two times to make sure the job was done right. After finishing the initial issue I called about, I showed him a couple of other minor plumbing issues I was having. He didn't hesitate to help me with those on top of the original request. Overall I would recommend him to anyone needing a crafty and honest plumber.

Our toilet flooded on a Sunday night (little rugrat toy went down the toilet). We tried to retrieve and snake it ourselves on numerous occasions with no success. I did a fast search on yelp and Tim Golden Hands came up with rave reviews. So of course I chose to go with him (and I'm glad I did). Tim was able to fix our toilet and retrieve the toy in less than 5 mins (meanwhile we been trying for 4 days lol). I will definitely use him for any future issues and projects

I needed a handy man to hang up two mirrors right away. I messaged Atrsem and within the first 5 minutes he responded with a quote and availability. He was able to come do the job the day of and showed up right on time. He was extremely professional and had all of the necessary high end tools to make sure everything was safe and leveled. Tim did a great job. Installing 6 blinds he was well prepared with equipments and everything. Even some neighbors complained from drilling at night. He came the next day and didn't complain at all. Overall he charges affordable prices comparing to other quotes.
Needed to fix a toilet that kept running. Tim came exactly at the time we had arranged and fixed the problem, including going out to get a part, promptly and stayed to make sure all was good. Tim at Golden Hands was a pleasure to have in our home - really friendly, good natured and kind to our dog. I wasn't sure what to expect hiring a handyman for several wide-ranging projects (picture hanging, bathroom fixture installation and water pressure resolution) but relied on the reviews and am glad that I did. Tim showed up on time, masked and with a backpack full of the right tools for the job. He was able to hang heavy wall art and smaller pictures alike - we felt comfortable that he knew what he was doing on our newly plastered walls. He diagnosed the issue behind our water pressure and agreed to come back at another time once he was able to get a specific part to test. On the bathroom fixtures he was done quickly and they look great. We will definitely not hesitate to have him do other odd jobs around our house as they will no doubt arise.

I had two leaky showers. I called, sent emails out and waited. First call, I was told I needed cartridges changed, and asked for a thousand dollars, including parts. Then, I got a text from Tim Golden Hands, and said same jobs for 240 plus parts. Third one said 300 plus parts. So, I went with Tim. It was easy to communicate, and we scheduled next day, Saturday. A very young guy showed up at my door, and I wondered if he has enough experience and knowledge. HE WAS GREAT! I bought the part from Home Depot, then when we opened one of my showers, he realized that I got one part wrong. He went out, and came back with the correct part. AND, my two showers are no longer leaking! He also explained that I have one month warranty. So, if the problem occurs again, he will come and fix it at no charge, which is great. I will definitely recommend his service to all of my friends!
Tim was very efficient and professional. I needed 2 window blinds and a curtain rod installed and he came prepared with all the necessary tools. I reached out for a quote (very reasonable) and he was available to assist me the very next day. I will definitely use Tim again for any other household projects.

I had Tim Golden Hands replace two toilets with new ones and they did an excellent job. They worked quickly and diligently, asking me to inspect the work as they proceeded to ensure it was looking and functioning as expected. They also discovered that in one of our bathrooms, the plate on the drain had been previously installed incorrectly. It turns out that this was likely the cause of some toilet leaks that have been popping up. A plumber that had come in before to deal with the leak just replaced the wax ring without looking at the underlying cause of the problem. Tim Golden Hands were able to fix the issue as part of their installation (and even kept to the original price estimate despite this extra, unexpected work), saving a lot of future headaches. After they were done, they cleaned up everything and left our apartment in good shape with two professionally installed toilets. I would recommend Tim Golden Hands without hesitation.
Tim was very responsive and accommodating. I had to reschedule because my building turned off the water and he was unphased and able to reschedule promptly. I had Tim come and unclog a toilet, fix a water faucet so the pressure was corrected and thus the water heats much faster. He also discovered a leak from a lose pipe and tightened it. I highly recommend this straightforward and honest small business owner!

Really great follow through. Had to come back the next day after trips to multiple hardware stores only to come up short. He came back the next day without prodding, very thorough and patiently explained the issues. And I have never had a punctual plumber. Blew me away. Will def call again. Great Covid protection, polite, picked up - good guy.

Tim is absolutely phenomenal. We had a problem with our kitchen sink. He texted me when he was coming, had brought all the right tools and replacement parts for my kitchen sink and fixed it at a great price.
The main reason why Tim is our person going forward is there was a leak in another part of our sink and fixed it immediately.
He is professional, very responsive, and will not stop unless the problem is solved.

I had a great initial experience and have now used TGH multiple times. He is efficient and thorough, and gave some helpful tips as well. Also very responsible with masks and safety.
Kind and professional. Came prepared and overall built an awesome exercise bike for me. He was in and out within 20 minutes. Def recommend for any assembly need.
Tim replaces a broken garbage disposal, secured a medicine cabinet door that was askew, and also adjusted the shower door in my condo. He was receptive, friendly and very transparent in how he prices his jobs. He also goes out of his way to accommodate your schedule. I will definitely be using Tim again for future jobs. He's fantastic!

I had quite a few items that needed mounting/hanging and the work was done beautifully. He had all the equipment needed to ensure things were leveled, centered, and the areas were stud free. I was consulted at every turn which was appreciated. So professional and efficient. Would absolutely recommend.

I found Artsem (owner of Tim Golden Hands) through the Yelp bidding process, and I couldn't be more pleased with his work, his professionalism, his willingness to come on a Saturday morning(!) and his fee. I'd had a kitchen faucet installed with Home Depot a year ago, but the person who had done that work did it very poorly and it led to a leak under my sink. Arstem responded to my query right away, gave me the best price of all the contractors and quickly diagnosed the problem when he was here. He showed me what caused the leak, then fixed it! Throughout the process he was wonderful. I will absolutely use him again and highly recommend him!
