Best Plumbing Services in Boston, MA
I called late in the afternoon, and Mark answered the phone on the first try. I was contacted within minutes by William, who came the next morning. He worked quickly and efficiently, and was reasonably priced. Stress free service!

Jim changed the fixtures in my tub/shower and bathroom sink today. He (and Matt) did an excellent job. Clearly Jim is an experienced plumber; he is efficient, neat, organized and a problem-solver. The work looks beautiful. I followed his product recommendation because I decided it was worth relying on his experience. And the bonus is that he is responsive; he answers texts promptly, schedules within a reasonable time frame, he comes when he says he will and on time, and finishes when he says he will. He charges a competitive, reasonable amount.

Travis responded right away and was able to fix the leaking hot water from my tub spout as well as the trim the same day he came to look at it! He gave me multiple options and I am very happy with the work he did! He was very professional and friendly! Our dog even liked him! It was a pleasure working with him and I would certainly recommend him to anyone needing work done!

These plumbers are nice, fair, and, do good work. They were really polite to us, even though I left a mess in the walkway outside with gardening stuff (nobody should have to step in my pile of dead slugs on the way to the basement) and my youngest kid wanted to watch some of the installation of our new water heater. They came on a Saturday and explained how some of the stuff in our basement works, as in where the big drain is for letting out water if the basement ever floods.

We contacted Terry when during our house buying process when we needed a estimate on a plumbing issue the inspector noticed. He did the plumbing inspection for free, gave us an estimate, and fixed the problem after we moved in. He did great work and we would call him again if we had a problem.

Disappointed would summarize the relationship with Belanger & Sons. I chose them based on the several good reviews and, as such, I expected more. I am giving them 3 stars because of their good communication/responsiveness and their willingness to make it work. However, the work was not as good as expected.
Positives:
- Communication/responsive
- Cleanliness
- Trying to make it work.
Negatives:
- The installation day they told me the installation was concluded and left. When I checked the soaking tub it wasn't level at all. It was, in fact, visible that it wasn't level since I could fit my hand below the bathtub on one side, while it was flush on the other. It wouldn't have happened if they had used a level to ensure proper placement before they left. The angle was about 10-12 degrees off.
- We were told our bathtub would be installed following the specifications of the manufacturer, but it wasn't. The specifications of our acrylic soaking tub called for a mortar bed, which was not used. As a consequence, our tub is squeaking when we shower, when we get in and when we get out. The squeaking started a couple of days after we started using the shower, unfortunately, so the tiles were already in place. Before knowing that NOT having a mortar bed was the issue, so I reached out to the manufacturer complaining about the issue with the tub and they asked me to take a picture through the opening behind the tub, which revealed no mortar bed. Because of that, the warranty of my newly installed $1,400+ soaking tub is gone. The manufacturer told me that any acrylic tub needs to be installed over a mortar bed. I would have expected the contractor to know that. Instead, the contractor tried to tell me that maybe the subfloor was not properly prepared and that maybe it was the subfloor that was making that noise when I step on the tub. They came 3-4 times in the course of about 8-9 months (yes, it took that long) to add expanding foam below the tub, but that didn't solve the issue.
- Minor: they left a small dent on one of the tiles next to the tub. They told me it was already there... The floor had been installed just a couple of months earlier and it was in perfect condition. I know these things can happen and I don't get mad, but I would have appreciated honesty.

LB was great! Put in a request for a non-urgent issue with my garbage disposal on a Monday at 12 pm at LB was here at 3:30 during our requested window. Professional and quick, our garbage disposal is all set. Was also happy to hear LB is the owner of the company as supporting locally owned and black owned businesses is important. Will recommend to friends and others in the Boston area!

Helped me out in my time of need. Great job. Almost don't care what it costs. Final repair was neatly done and beautiful. I can see the workmanship.

I needed a new toilet and they replaced it quickly and without a fuss.
Also spotted a possible problem with the mail water line coming into my home and repaired it the following week.
Would gladly contact again for any future plumbing needs.

I made over a dozen phone calls to plumbers to fix a leaky toilet valve, and Van at Alligators was the only one who agreed to come over same-day. He fixed the leak immediately, then looked at and resolved two other plumbing problems in the house during the same visit. He was fast, friendly, helpful, and reasonably priced. We'll be calling him again when needs arise.

This company is great and reliable. They have helped me mitigate a ton of problems created by the contractor Paramount Construction, that made so many problems with my construction. They show up on time and do a great job. Communication is ongoing. I would highly recommend this company.

Worked with Brandon to install an irrigation meter and pressure reducing valves. They showed up when promised, gave a very reasonable estimate. They then showed up on promised date and finished all the work quickly and professionally. They also promptly came back to fix an issue that resulted from miscommunication. The final price was exactly as promised. Highly recommend.

So we called about 5 plumbers in a state of panic... Because we had a main drain backup. The only place that returned our call was Roto-Rooter! Took a bit for someone to get here, but once help arrived, Steven Dallalis took care of our problem... He explained we had a blockage but it went a bit further than just the main drain. We lost a toilet in the ordeal but it's probably best seeing it was so old he suggested it not be reattached! Good advice! After 3 hours and about $500 problem was solved. Pricey but we held up through today's rain storm! 6 Month guarantee... I'll take it! BTW those other plumbers I called never called back! I guess plumbers don't want to deal with drain issues! So I would & have already recommended! Thanks!

First call is to fix the toilet clog that makes the basement smelly. They did not have the tool to do the work and sub-contact other company which have availability issue and delayed few days. All the tenants suffered and complained. The problem is NOT completely solved. Thus leads to the second call. The plumber went to the house and did the work without letting us know first the cost.

I just had to call them because my furnace was not working. I had no idea what to do. Its freezing out and there are four kids in the house, so I was panicking, but they put me at ease by answering the phone immediately even though it was well past 5:00. They came out to the house within an hour and fixed the problem. I am so grateful. They are the best.

Very responsive, coming out in a couple days for some non-emergency work. Brandon and Louie were very professional, communicated the scope of work and cost, got their parts, and gott'er done!

This place gave me a quote for $2000 to do an ac maintenance. This is highway robbery folks all they have to do is change a filter, clean out a drain trap and clean a condenser. It's appalling that they get away with this. Found someone to come do my maintanence for $300.
