My soon to be 90 year young husband fell backwards on the toilet in his bathroom at midnight last Wednesday which resulted in flooding prior to turning the water off and moping up.  I called R-Chee the next morning at 8 AM and we had a beautiful new comfort height toilet installed that afternoon.  R-Chee never ever disappoints us and always fixes whatever the problem is.  We can't recommend them highly enough...seriously.  If it's fixing a kitchen sink faucet, garbage disposal, clogged bathroom sink, whatever, all work is done ASAP and perfectly.  We love Hull and love using R-Chee.   Fred and Judy Marks

Called The Drain Guy looking for service for a cinema i GM in Cambridge. After a few plumbers bailed on us earlier in the week (and one this morning) I was mostly expecting a standard brush-off reply, or a voicemail.

Instead I got an answer, and a good one. My info was taken, and Matt called me himself within 5 minutes. Said he was finishing up a job in Somerville and would head over shortly.

Probably 90 minutes later Matt pulled up, asked for me by name and we went off. Showed him the trouble areas, he went to work, and checked back in with me to discuss his process before actually beginning any work. About another 90 minutes later, he was finished along with my trouble urinal and toilet's problems.

Clear communication, friendly demeanor, quality work, reasonable rate. I'm honestly not sure what else I could ask for.

KB Aruda cleared snow for our business during Storm Nemo. We were astonished at the diligence, professionalism and follow-thru.  They worked through the storm (non-stop for 36 hours now) and kept us up and running.  Our lot is immaculate and they were kind and thoughtful to our residential neighbors: piling snow out of the way, considerate of cars and pedestrians and even helping out a few in need. Kevin and Katje, and the rest of you, you are amazing.

Dennis was fantastic. We wanted to install a washing machine in a closet on our first floor. Dennis installed all new piping and even made a metal drip pan to drain any water should the washing machine ever leak. Everything came out perfect. Also our dog loves Dennis.

We will be using Dennis for all future plumbing needs.

Our 42 year old Peerless steam gas boiler heating system had broken down and I needed a replacement ASAP. Called a few contractors but Frank was by far the most responsive and provided a reasonable estimate for the job. He came out the next day to take a look. Arrived on time as well.

After accepting his bid for the work, he got to work the next day in the replacement of the boiler and finished it in a day.

After installing the system, some of the connections to the existing piping was not totally secured properly and had steam escaping/minor leaking. I text Frank on Sunday and received a call back quickly to schedule a fix on Monday morning.

Monday morning he came on time and got the issue resolved. No more leaks.

Thanks Frank for coming in in a pinch and getting the job done. He and his team are respectable and professional. Would call again.

So glad I called Boston Drain after Rapid Flow screwed up a job at my rental property. I was in a jam and I called the dispatch at Boston Drain. She sent the technician over within an hour. We had a clog in the sewer pipe, and Chris got to the problem within minutes. So lucky I found them!!!

We were introduced to Joe & his team by our builder.  They did a great job finishing up some work the original plumber missed.  They arrived on time, cleaned up after themselves and knew what they were doing.

Absolute Prevision Plumbing repaired a hot water radiator in my home. They showed up on time, were professional, and cleaned up after they were finished. The process took shorter than they estimated. They also followed up with me later that evening and in the week to make sure the radiator was still working and to make sure I was happy with their work. I highly recommend their work.

I've had to call Chenette last minute twice in the last week. The first to was help install my gas dryer (when the company I ordered it from refused to do the install) and the second when my gas furnace stopped working unexpectedly. Chenette came to the rescue within a couple of hours after my call, despite having full schedules. The guys they sent over were friendly and professional, providing quick fixes and fair pricing. Even paying is easy, they'll send returning customers a bill right to your house! Chenette always makes time for their customers, I'll definitely be using Chenette in the future and highly recommend!

I am very sad. I have known this company for years. My father in law used them for a few of his properties and in the past they did a great job. I had called them to put up a new stand alone shower in my home. They came out a few weeks later and did the work but the made a small mistake and the ring was separating. I called them for about three weeks but could not get a call back. Then the whole thing came down. I called the emergency number and a very nice man did come out and had to fix it. It did get worse but in the end they gave me a 100% refund as I had someone else finish the work. So in the end it all worked out. They may be busy but they are ethical

Highly recommended! Fixed a leak in our radiator very quickly.

I met Rusty when I bought my house in 97... Since then he has done all my work, from water heater, furnace to new BR and kitchen. Always punctual, professional and reasonable and throw in a great sense of humor. Never had a problem with ANYTHING he has done. He does not take new customers but if you do get in you are VERY fortunate.   He is very busy but you can get in touch with him anytime... wish I could give him 10 stars... All tradesmen should be this good!

Dan had installed macerating toilet in my basement. It was a very positive experience: the price was very fair, he came on the date he promised, and the job was done well. Will certainly use them again.

I had them installed most of the bathroom and kitchen appliances in a newly renovated townhouse. They did a great job and made sure everything was fine before they left.

I called them few times for kitchen sink drainage, bathtub clogging and they came right away to fix it.

Drain flow (Anthony) is reliable and does a great job.

Charlie Lovett came over within 15 minutes when I called him last night after my sump pump had failed. He quickly resolved the problem and prevented a major flood in my basement. I am so grateful for the speedy, friendly, knowledgeable and professional service.  I would definitely call again, should any plumbing need arise. Thank you!

I called Streeter plumbing to get an estimate on a plumbing job at my condo. I made an appointment for the following Thursday and the secretary gave me a window from 10am-12p. The day of the appt I called to confirm the appt and ensure they would call me with a 10-15min warning so that I could meet them at the condo.  By 12:05 they still had not showed up. I called and spoke to the secretary who said the plumber must have gotten held up at a previous job, but he still planned on coming. I asked her when that would be and she put me on hold, then came back and said he would be there in 10-15min. I waited another 30min before giving up and leaving. The plumber called me 10min later (45min after the 2hour window had expired) to tell me he was on his way. I told him i had already left and he said, ok and hung up.

Apparently they did not need my business and do not care if they keep you waiting on them for over 2 1/2 hours. Neither the plumber, nor the secretary every apologized for them not being there on time.

I have no idea if they are competent plumbers, but their customer service is certainly lacking.

Friends, if you have a plumbing need please do not make the mistake I did. Do not use Jonasson Plumbing & Heating. They are completely unprofessional and at least 20% more expensive than everyone else around. They refused to give me a quote for services prior to doing work, and then a bill for a CRAZY amount showed up on my doorstep. Then the owner showed up on my doorstep demanding payment. I wrote him a check for a reasonable amount for services and parts based on my research talking to other kind and reasonable plumbers in the Needham area and then he threatened me.
