Steve's son came out and did a great job. He worked very hard to get my cartridge out of my shower faucet. The whole process was difficult when it should have been fairly easy. But that's plumbing. He was dedicated to doing everything right. I will be a future customer for other job's that come up. Highly recommended!

We have had lots of plumbing issues in our older house. Steve and crew have been great at fixing our problems and we will not use anyone else.

Just moved to Indy and apparently Indy have one of the most hardest water in the states. Called in and brought in bunch of salesmen. Out of all of them, we liked cooper's water the best. Scott, the owner, came out and sold us on the water softener and the drinking water system. We thought the price was fair. He did offer discounts for paying cash. The installer was quick and kind. We had no problem with him. The drinking water system we've got was bit bigger than I thought. It takes up half of my bottom of the sink area. So far, our water system is working nicely. I will see if something breaks, how their customer service will be. They do have 7 years warranty on all of their water softener I believe. So far, I do recommend this company.

I cant tell you how much I love this service. We had an emergency issue and had called another plumber. Hope came out and not only were they fast, it was a great value. Leon Hiepner was awesome and so reassuring. I will never use another plumber.

Dan and Antoneo were very professional, followed covid-19 PPE guidelines, and answered LOTS of questions. I was very impressed with the options they gave me and appreciated their honesty. I found out that I didn't need to replace my toilet, that they could repair if for less. Dan came back and did great work! I will use this company again for any plumbing needs!

From four plumbing companies Grateful Plumbing was the only company that would give me a quote for a straightforward job. All I wanted was a quote for a shut off valve replacement. Other companies talk about straight out of the book pricing but they don't want to give you the straight out of the book price before the work. Work was completed in 20 minutes. Not cheap, but professional and on time.

Excellent company to work with! We had 3 different companies come out to check our broken air conditioner and provide us with a quote on a new unit, and Chapman surpassed the other companies in every way. They were knowledgeable, professional, and easy to work with. I'd recommend them to anyone!

Mike's is fantastic! He's done a number of things at our place, from spa repairs to fixing some faucets and locks. He's a great communicator, timely, and charges a fair price. Highest recommendation.

On two occasions I've called Bob for help. On those two occasions he's taken the time for me to explain the issue. Even sent a few pictures of the issue. On those two occasions he's walked me through the fix. A VERY HONEST man! It's not often you find someone willing to help you out even if it costs them a few bucks.

Very expensive but they got the job done and did prioritize me due to my water being completely out.

The Howald team is great! They have replaced my A/C, furnace, and most recently my water heater. Everyone has been great at communicating and following through promptly. Steve the sales person was great, he gave me honest recommendations and there was no sales pressure when choosing my water heater, same with furnace and A/C with Kevin. Sam who installed my water heater was wonderful as well. I would definitely recommend them and would use again in the future!

I don't understand what happened to this company. I have used them for preventative maintenance and they were fine. I used them again about 4 months ago to install a new water heater and do some modifications to my furnace air handling system in the house I had just purchased and they did that just fine. So when my furnace stopped working today (about 4:15am Saturday morning, 35 degrees outside) I called them again. Their website says they have 24/7 emergency service. The answering service told me nobody would call till normal business hours which I took to mean Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm. I reminded them that their website says they offer 24/7 emergency service so they said they would make a note that this was an emergency. No technician called so I called back 50 minutes later. It took the answering service almost 7 minutes to even answer my call. Told them no one had called and they said they would update the message but still didn't say anyone would call. Waited 15 minutes. No technician called. Finally called the owners cell phone number which I had from when he came out to bid the air handler modification. It's now been 2.5 hours and neither the owner or any technician has called. If they aren't going to do after hours emergency service then they should update their website.
UPDATE: Evidently the reason the repair technician didn't call was because the after hours phone answering service failed completely to do their job. The owner returned my call at 7:42 this morning to say he is personally contacting the technician who is on call. Technician called me 10 minutes later and said he would be there in about 75 minutes. Technician arrived when he said he would and after a brief inspection determined what was wrong. He had to leave and pick up a new part from a supply house. Upon his return he quickly installed the part which fixed the problem and my furnace is back up and running. I am thankful they were able to get this taken care of because I definitely didn't want to look for a new heating and cooling company.

After fixing my first issue, I called Mike for help with high water pressure. Mike jr came out, worked his magic and put a pressure value in where the water comes into the house. He was quick, efficient and easy to work with. This family is amazing and I highly recommend Maxwell & Sons for your plumbing needs.

They came out today to fix low pressure on hot water. Turned out to be a pipe almost clogged completely clogged clogged with lime. While they were here we had the tank replaced. Very happy with the service. Would use them again.

Very disappointed. I called Godby to find an electrical problem because a neighbor recommended them. We'd had a leak and the plumber (who did a great job) said the cause was an electrical current arcing on the pipes from malfunctioning fixtures. Godby's electrician spent something like four hours examining our electrical service and assured me there was no problem.
A month later, another leak. Plumber (same company but different individual) confirmed the problem was electricity on the pipes. Called Barth Electric; they sent an electrician who found the problem promptly and fixed it. Needless to say, I would NEVER use Godby again. Not only did we throw out the money we paid them, but the subsequent leak that could have been avoided cost nearly 400 to fix--and that's before repairing the hole in the drywall.

Cost competitive, great value and fantastic service quality!
My central air failed about a month ago - compressor bearing. I spoke with several companies and Action Air came out on top for a number of reasons:
1. They were able to provide some rough estimates over the phone - not commitments - just estimates.
2. They provided several ideas about what I could check before diving into a new system
3. Their contract for equipment and service and warranty is clear, concise and simple - no fine print
4. They didn't miss a single commitment on getting the job done.
5. Their costs were competitive - and they were transparent about them.
How their competitors operate:
In my experience with (all) other HVAC companies, they will not provide any cost estimates without a home visit which they charge for - usually around $80. This cost is then voided if you buy from them. For me, I paid another company the $80 for the service call, then they quoted me 20% more for the system. The worst is when the service provider does the service call, but they have to send a sales person in for the quote. This NVA overhead ultimately gets paid by the end customer (see 20% higher cost above). This sales approach is so 1990s. Hey, let's figure out a way to get paid for our sales effort... our service call will get us in the door, we'll hook the customer by agreeing to wave the charge if they buy from us and then hike our prices to pay for commissions, overhead, etc. This is a formula that is one-way transnational and kills any hope for an ongoing customer relationship. Do they really think their customers are not sophisticated enough to get this?
So in the end, Action Air is the best HVAC service I have ever experienced. Pretty cool.

Okay, I'm dropping summers. I've had them for three years, never payed any attention just blindly trusted them. But and however, my furnace had a yearly checkup, they told me everything looks fine but considering it's age, it probably would be a good idea on replacing it before it goes out and doing it soon as possible because of the pandemic scheduling and prices. I said I'll think about it... They leave and I notice the heater isn't coming on. I called them back telling them it hasn't worked since they inspected it. They come back, take an hour looking at it and tell me they think it's dead, the main board is fried and the only way to know would be to order another board and swap them out but that would cost me nearly $1,000 so I'm probably better off just replacing it and they quoted me new ones.
Well, I ended up paying another company to come out to look it over because I didn't like how convenient it stopped working after they inspected it and tried selling me a new one felt to me. This guy came out for $85 fee and told me within 5min it was just the capacitor and replaced it for $30 while laughing at summers maintenance guys at what they said and did and missed, and like magic it works like a champ again.
Be warned, about summers watch them. I had this feeling before when my AC was inspected and plumbing. Now I know I was right about them. Because this whole new team that came doing the follow up home inspection just made them embarrassingly exposed and looking like con artist.

My experience with Peterman Brothers has been nothing short of a disaster. Late last year (2021) our aged A/C system started to struggle. We waited until late spring to have the system serviced. we chose Peterman Brothers. The first technician that came to our home seemed knowledgeable, was kind and courteous and did a thorough inspection. We found that the heat exchanger was cracked and needed to be replaced before we used it again, he also tested the HVAC and said we should be good to go. We signed up for their gold service and knew that things might no go well when the first warm day came. Well, the first warm day came, turned the AC on and it did not work. We called Peterman and asked if the could send a sales a salesperson to our home, we needed/wanted to replace the aged system. The sales person was very good, we agreed upon replacing the entire system. A few days later the install team showed up and got to work. Everything seemed to be going well this day, they were having some struggles with the wiring, but assured us when they left we were good to go. We had purchased a top of the line product, due to the set up of our home, we went with a zoned approach. Install day was cool day, windows open as were the next couple of days. We turned the AC as we had a rather warm/hot day coming and no cool air. It actually was warmer inside that outside. We called Peterman, they sent someone right to discover the actuators had not been connected during install. This technician assured us we were good to go now, in and out in 20 minutes, house should cool down during the course of the night evening. It did not. It took 17 visits from Peterman, 17 days of coming to our home where someone had to be home, to get this system to work. Each visit was something new that was wrong. We had engineers, electrician, mangers, technicians, customer service people in our home. At one point there were 10 people at once in our home to figure this out and it still took multiple service trips and calls to get the system to work. I will say, Peterman rewired our home on their cost and ran new ductwork at their cost, but only after multiple visits and so much confusion on their part.
Now, 4 days after the install, our water heater decided to join the fun and quit working. At this point, we had not had any issues with Peterman Brothers, so we went with them to replace our water heater and we went with a tankless option. They check our gas meter, ran new gas line the water heater, and everything seemed fine. A few weeks later, we have family coming into town for our sons graduation party and they are staying with us. I walk out into the garage to find the water flashing red and no hot water. I called Peterman, they could not get someone until Monday, mind you were are now having them to our home on a regular basis for the AC system that is not working. My son, plays around with the water heater and gets it working for the weekend. We still have Peterman come out on Monday to check the water, as the HVAC team was already coming Monday, to find out they gas line itself they install was too small and the gas meter needed to be upgraded to allow more gas flow. Peterman Brothers did assist us with convincing the gas company to come out and upgrade the meter for us as they did not want to do this based upon our call to them.
After speaking with different managers and customer service folks, Peterman Brothers stated they were working on providing us with some money back for all of the issues we had and apologized. For 17 days of my wife or myself and my young daughters summer break of having to be home, Peterman called and offered $1500.00. We spent over $40k with Peterman in the matter of a week, then spent 2.5 weeks stuck at home while they figured out why they couldn't their system to work.
Then here are today October 7th. Its going to be in the low 30's tomorrow morning, so last night I turned the heat on for the first time and woke to a home that is was colder than when I went to bed. The heat exchanger, the A/C system and the water heater, not one product has worked. $1500.00 for half a lost summer, for time off of work, for frustration and bewilderment that the professionals with the 5 star guarantee could figure out.
If we could give negative stars we would, if we could warn all buyers to beware, we would. That $1500.00 dollar check that took three weeks for Peterman to send, is still sitting in my kitchen, in the window, as I find it funny this is the best Peterman can do.
Buyer beware of the 5 star joke that is Peterman Brothers.
