Jesse came out and fixed my toilets that other plumbing companies wouldn't.

Had the guts replaced last year and the other company told me that I had to replace the entire toilet - Jesse took one look and said oh here is the issue....  Fixed.

I had him come out and replace the guts of the third toilet and he was finished in about 30 minutes and it works great.

Super responsive and knowledgeable. I have recommended to my friends and will absolutely use again.

Winter's Plumbing was such an interesting mix of great and not-so-great.  I've contacted them twice; they are routinely more quickly available than most other plumbers, which is great as plumbing is always urgent.  The first time, another plumber was available same day (unusual). The second time in need, Winters was available the following morning, which was excellent.  It even made me look past Winters' $239 price for clearing a bathroom sink clog: perhaps it was that high because the work would be on a Saturday.  And when I called back and mentioned that I had Covid but would stay out of circulation, it didn't phase Winters.  Amazing. They promised arrival 9 AM, called at 8 AM to tell us they'd be there promptly at 9:00, and they were. Superb.  Wore booties, checked everything out, and went to work. UNFORTUNATELY: they couldn't clear the clog.  (Yes, we have an old house but I don't believe we've ever had a plumber who couldn't clear the line.
Can't say they didn't try:  Vacuum hose: no. Small snake: no.  Large snake: oops, too large  Small Snake: machine locked up, started smoking. 1+ hour and a few calls to HQ, no success.  Leaving our front door open multiple times wasn't good (very active cats).  A request that I pay  1/2 now and  1/2 when they fixed it on Tuesday: I had to firmly pass.  An explanation of what they would do on Tuesday: didn't give me confidence.  Final outcome: I proposed paying their entire service charge (a much lower-than-market $39, nice) and letting them spend Tuesday on other customers: accepted.  Again, a real mix of very good and not very good, from very nice people.

Just moved to Indiana and purchased a home with an existing Cooper's Water purification system. I was unfamiliar with the under counter RO system and felt I needed to have fresh filters installed, I placed a service call with Cooper's and they sent field technician Abel out. He was very nice, professional and informative. He fully explained the system to me while he changed out the filters, checked for leaks and tested the system. He also went down into the basement and verified that the water conditioner unit was also theirs and verified salt levels and explained the system and proper maintenance as well. I was extremely satisfied with their service!!

I recently used Hope plumbing and was very satisfied with their service. My technician Leon Hiepner was very courteous and professional. I called for service on a Tuesday and they showed up on a Wednesday and took care of my problem very efficiently. The office kept in touch with me and let me know their approximate arrival time and updated me throughout the morning as their schedule fluctuated. I also received a text message prior to Leon's arrival letting me know he was due to arrive shortly with his picture which made it easy to identify him at that time. Of course the big truck was a giveaway but it was nice that they let me know who was about to arrive at my house.

These guys really put in the work to get me all set up. Called and had someone on scene ready to go in less than 3 hours. What I thought would be a small repair turned in to small project. As a new home owner and a young guy it feels daunting having your first major issue that you can't handle on your own and I'm glad to have had these fine fellows backing me up.

Adam's been to my house twice to fix my piece of junk water heater. His communication, honesty, timeliness, and service has always been excellent. Highly recommend!

i sooooooooo wish i could make this a no star review.    we had chapman install our payne ac unit and compressor in 2018.
the install not only took 13 hours the first day the service manager **chris had to come out the second day to fix something i made sure they we're 100% aware of before they started and did incorrectly.  well we are now a year and a half out from install and  outside our service warrenty  still having the same problem and looking at paying for labor that should have been fixed previously.  the home is a  1600 sq foot home yet the ac cannot get the house below 78 when above 90 out.  

i cannot say enough horrible things about how condescending most of the office employees & managers have been especially shirley & chris.......  

maybe i should send this write up to the colts so they can think about who the have represent them....

My experience with this company was very pleasant and professional. I initiated a request for someone to come out online and was called the following weekday. The plumber was extremely courteous and professional.

Mike's is fantastic! He's done a number of things at our place, from spa repairs to fixing some faucets and locks. He's a great communicator, timely, and charges a fair price. Highest recommendation.

On two occasions I've called Bob for help. On those two occasions he's taken the time for me to explain the issue. Even sent a few pictures of the issue. On those two occasions he's walked me through the fix. A VERY HONEST man! It's not often you find someone willing to help you out even if it costs them a few bucks.

I will call again when a situation arises

Called them out to put a drain in for my clothes washer. The guy looks everything over then goes over the plan and gives me a price. He also notices my hose spigot could use changing, shows me why pointing out issues with it. Gives me a price of $294 for just the spigot and can be done later. So I agree to the drain install price and he comes back out a few days later but tells me he's not sure if it can be done! He calls his manager who comes out and tells him how to do it, which was the way he told me HE was going to do it. It gets done and works fine. I call them a month later and ask to get the spigot changed now and how much was that again I asked? $294. I said go for it. They send the exact same guy out that showed me the problem with the old one. He tells me it should be $394 because of how difficult it is to get to! He was the one that looked at it in the first place! Felt like he was trying to shake me down for $100 more. Nice guy good work but not exactly trust worthy. Probably wouldn't use them again.

We're in the process of building a master bedroom with en suite bath in our attic along with piping HVAC to parts of our house that weren't set up with heating or cooling. It's an old, quirky little house in SoBro.

Before calling Howald we had three companies to our home in order to get estimates for the work we needed done. All of them seemed overwhelmed and uncertain by the work we wanted done and never followed up or gave any sort of estimate. I was shocked. Even after calling to check in we heard nothing back.

However, Howald saved the day. The technicians came for the estimates quickly and were prompt for both the heating/cooling and plumbing. The day of the jobs, they were again prompt and worked quickly. Once we were billed, the actual cost came in a little under the original estimate which I thought was a pretty classy move. So far, we're happy with all their work. The technicians are polite and friendly.

We finally got to the point where our gutted kitchen is ready for some plumbing work and we knew just who to call. They're coming again to do some additional plumbing work for us this Friday!

Update (Feb 2019):  We just had to replace our furnace (20 years old) and we had PHP come out to give a quote.  Ryan (the owner) came out and spent plenty of time with me to fully know what our needs were.  In addition to replacing the furnace unit, we needed a big section of the duct work to be moved.  He came up with some clever solutions for the ducting and a great offer on an efficient furnace.   They guys were here quickly, did a very good job, kept the whole place clean and were out in just a few hours.  We could not be happier!   Such great people and service.

These guys have done most of the plumbing in my house over the last eight years. Competitive pricing and a no games. It's also nice to know that the owner is a cop. You can feel safe having him work in your home!

Update: Considering the owner's response to my review, and reading how another Yelp user had a similar experience with disrespect from the owner, I will offer my suggestions to whomever is reading this to go with BIG FROG PLUMBING. The process to get someone out was simple and online, and everyone I spoke to and worked with were professional, polite, and courteous. They're who I will go with if I have any issues in the future, and it's literally only two minutes away from this awful company.

Jason, the owner contacted me a few days ago to correct the issue. We agreed on a deal that we both felt was fair, and he asked me to give his company another chance, which I will. I have used Godby many times over the years and will hopefully continue to do so in the future.

I've used Action Air twice so far and have been pleased with the service. The first time was to check my unit, inquire about a new filter, and update my thermostat. Next call was to change out my filter system to one that is more easily managed and more economical. Both techs that came out communicated well and worked efficiently. Action Air sends out texts prior to the responding tech's visit. The texts includes the name and picture of the tech as well as a short bio. It's like a little meet & greet, if you will. Action Air is local and family owned and I highly recommend for reasonable and efficient service.

Called and scheduled an appointment for a few weeks ago to clean the coils and inspect our ac before it really got hot out. The day of the service they called and cancelled because there were more pressing jobs. Fast forward to now and my ac is not working, called Mower and they came over within a couple hours and found my line is frozen and more than likely due to a freon leak. The system has been working but not the greatest for a little bit now and would have been caught during the service I scheduled before the heat wave...  Don't advertise a service and then cancel, when you preach about continual maintenance and then do not have time for it I can tell you it's extremely frustrating.

Friendly, knowledgeable, reasonable staff. Willing to work with your schedule and budget
