The shower faucet  in one of your bathrooms was stuck with the water turned on. Long story short we could not turn it off and essentially had to turn the main water off to our house.  I contacted a couple other plumbers who gave me quotes that were pretty expensive. I contacted Steve at 10 pm not expecting a response. He contacted me within 5 mins, had me send him photos, and the first option he provided me was cost effective and a 1/4  gift price and work of the other quotes I received.  While he did offer the same options as the other quotes -which came with a higher price, he assured me it was not necessary. He sent Jesse, who was awesome! My dog loved him too. He knew exactly what to do do, showed me the issue, and had it fixed quickly. Jesse was very polite and had great customer service! He did an excellent job! Honestly I cringe when I think of having any independent contractor come to fix something in my home but Its a relieve to know I can trust  Steve Morin Plumbing for all my plumbing needs in the future. Thank you so much!

I called Coopers after the contractor my home warranty company sent missed two appointments.  Mr Cooper (I'm guessing) arrived on time for the initial appointment and carried his briefcase like an OG salesman - I actually appreciate a simple old school approach!  I purchased the softener for about the same amount my warranty company had paid me for - and knowing warranty companies, they nickel and dime, so the price from Cooper's was great.  The guy came to install a few days later - I had to schedule a time when I could work from home, otherwise, they could have done it the next day - setup was quick and easy and the tech was polite and explained everything I needed to know!  Highly recommend!

There's HOPE in the plumbing business!

I had an outstanding experience with Hope Plumbing.  I chose Hope, after a botched experience with the company my home warranty company recommended for me.  I was searching for a service company, when I recalled that my HS classmate had a plumbing business.  How serendipitous!  Despite that long-ago connection (our twenty year reunion is approaching - WOW!) I promised myself that I would give an unbiased review of the service.

Hope plumbing was speedy, efficient, and did awesome work.  I was impressed right off the bat, by the company's fast response in scheduling an appointment.  I called for assistance on a Thursday afternoon, and the company was able to get a technician out to me, first thing that Friday morning.  I was pleasantly surprised to receive a text message that included my technician's name, a mini-biography, and his photo.  As a single woman, that extra step was so important for me.  It's super helpful to know exactly who to expect when welcoming service technicians into your home.

As far as the service itself, the technician explained exactly what my issues were, how the repair would proceed, and what I could expect.  He was able to install my new water heater on the same day, and worked quickly, quietly, and efficiently.  This experience was a 180-degree change from my last plumbing experience, and for that I will be eternally grateful.

Adam from Grateful Plumber was great to work with. He had a friendly and professional demeanor. He responded to my yelp request for a quote within minutes. He arrived timely and texted before arrival. He quickly addressed and repaired the problem, and he did a great job of explaining the issue to me in the process. He also pointed out that a future repair may be looming with our aging plumbing so we would be prepared for it.

We just bought our house in December and the AC went out. We had called a couple other companies but Chapman had the best price so much so we decided to go ahead and replace our furnace at the same time.

On the hottest day so far of the year Chapman was able to get right out to our house on Monday and get it installed on Thursday.  They were professional and busted their butts getting the system installed.

I was so happy with all the work and explanation of the systems. Highly recommend.

I have used Big Frog Plumbing for two jobs. They where fantastic! Quick and clean. Very affordable. They even told me I didn't need some things to save me money! I highly recommend using them for you next plumbing job!!

Mike's is fantastic! He's done a number of things at our place, from spa repairs to fixing some faucets and locks. He's a great communicator, timely, and charges a fair price. Highest recommendation.

Contacted Bob twice about scheduling a time to come out to 2 separate properties. He said he would contact the tenants to set up the appointments but never did. Didn't respond to follow up texts either. Not sure why he would agree to do something and then not follow through.

OMG. Finally, professionals who tell you when they'll arrive, show up early, tell you all your options, what it will cost, are friendly, knowledgeable, efficient and clean up after themselves.
I had my 25+ year old toilet replaced in my house built in 1925. Brendan & Ryan arrived, assessed the situation, gave me the price options and did the work. Did the whole job on a FRIDAY afternoon (when most people want to beat feet for the wkend) in about an hour. All that and a ten year warranty.
Five stars isn't enough.

We have used Howald for several years for heating and plumbing services. Every specialist that has been in our home has been courteous, prompt and helpful with explaining any issues and costs.

We have had minor and major repairs done. Recently we needed a new thermostat user interface and the technician, James, helped me set up some functions and the app on my phone. He went above and beyond.

We paid a fee to be in a plan that includes routine maintenance, discounts  and priority in scheduling. So far that has paid off nicely since the furnace in our new home has had several issues.

Will be recommending this business to friends and family.

PHP is great, second time I used them. On time, professional, hones, and high quality.

We called Saturday to make an appointment. We have a clogged drain that we just cannot get clear. They were ready to come Sunday, but both my husband and I work. The person who answered our call mentioned that they had to rip up slab at another site that day. It made sense for us to not squeeze it in when we were all busy. We agreed on Monday at/after 3pm. It's now 7:10p. We tried calling to see if someone was even going to stop over. No one answered, voice mail full. Ok...

I came here and found these guys well reviewed. I've had low water pressure and poor hot water in my house so I called these guys.

Response was eerily fast, as someone showed up within the hour. When they arrived they immediately set to work.

They replaced piping and tubing leading into and out of my water heater. It had degraded over time. But when they were done they didn't actually fix my issue. My master bath shower, which they saw, was barely usable. It was mentioned We need to replace the cartridge in the shower faucet.

Do you know what a cartridge is? Did you know there was anything even behind your shower faucet? Because I didn't and I don't care to. That's why I called professionals. But they left on an emergency call and three days later everything is as it was.

They also said I need a new water heater, which is probably right. But there was no guidance on what to get, how to get it, or if they could install it. I was told if it's not fixed in three days give us a call. Well, it wasn't fixed when they left so one wonders how it'd magically fix itself.

But hot water water isn't so much my problem. I have decently hot water. But I don't get to use it because it barely comes out my shower head.

Three days later and we're still Googling and ordering parts, drills, wrenches, and other supplies so we can replace our own shower faucet cartridge. Something that should have already been done and something I don't care to do on account I'm not a plumber.

To add to it, they left two ridiculously large and obnoxiously yellow WEILHAMMER PLUMBING stickers on my water heater and furnace. They measure about 5 or 6 inches wide and 2 inches tall. I don't mind leaving a card, or a magnet, but these were stickers half a foot wide. My house is not a billboard. 10 minutes of scrubbing with Goo Gone, magic erasers, and a wall scraper it came off.

My goal was clear: If I can't take a decent shower this evening, then it's not fixed. $195 later, after 20 minutes of their time, it's not fixed.

I had an absolutely horrible experience with Godby. My experience was so bad that I believe the company is either completely mismanaged or is willfully ripping off customers. Savvy consumers should BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY!

On August 3rd, 2013 I contacted Godby Heating, Plumbing, Electrical to repair my AC because it was blowing warm air. The technician arrived and quickly told me that I needed to replace the thermostat. That didn't solve the problem, so Godby sent the tech back to our house. The technician arrived and after some time outside claimed to have fixed it. He presented us with the information about the repair and a bill for $500 AFTER he performed the work. He explained that it needed more coolant and so he refilled 3 lbs of coolant. I specifically asked if there was a leak since 3 lbs is a huge amount. He said it was now working fine and we should be good. I was skeptical, but the unit was indeed blowing cold air so I paid the bill. A day later, AC was again blowing warm air. I called and spoke to the manager Kevin. He admitted that there must be a leak and the technician should have performed a full leak check before installing coolant. Godby sent another technician who easily confirmed the coil leak. This repairman stated that the first technician should have performed a full leak test before filling any coolant and apologized for the mistake. The manager, later called to tell me they will install a new coil for an additional $1,852 that will solve the problem. This new cost includes a leak repair and refilling with 3 more lbs of coolant. I complained that Godby should apply the wasted original coolant cost (~$500) to this new total. Godby should have performed a leak test before refilling with coolant and even then should have presented me with options before actually performing the work. As I pressed for a reasonable deal given my previously incurred and wasted coolant expense, Kevin became rude and unreasonable in his interactions with me. I declined further work with Godby and called a competitor that quoted and performed the new work at a regular cost of $1,290.  (This, of course, includes the coil leak repair plus the cost to refill coolant again.)

To make matters worse, Godby re-billed me for the unnecessary work performed on August 4th even thought I paid this total in August and have the receipt and bank withdrawal proof.

Every company makes mistakes, but how these mistakes are handled is what defines a company. Godby does not care about their customers. Godby represents POOR QUALITY, POOR SERVICE, HIGH COSTS, and DOUBLE BILLING.

Save yourself money and a headache -- AVOID GODBY!!

I understand that pleasing customers can be very difficult. I also understand that sometimes service must be revisited and adjustments have to be made. However, the treatment by a plumber from this company was beyond anything we've ever experienced. He was rude, unprofessional, condescending and frightening. This company needs to really think about who they send to represent them. Our technician surely is not likely to create positive experiences.

I called at nearly 7:00 pm Friday night of Labor Day weekend
My call was returned in 10 minutes a well spoken helpful service tech named Bryant asked a few good questions.  He said he could be there in 45 minutes
He arrived in 30 minutes
He diagnosed the problem and fixed it
He was professional, capable and friendly
I signed up for their maintenance program and he fixed my ac so I can enjoy Labor Day weekend with AC
I am a fan of this company and Bryant
This will be my company for such needs in the future.

I've had 2 experiences with PB in the past 14 months, here they are:

Feb 2022, the expansion tank on my boiler was leaking. Peterman's came out same day and confirmed it faulty, also noticed that my relief valve was rated for the wrong PSI (probably would led to the leak) and even said he could replace the embedded thermometer. Next day he came with the parts and knocked it all out, reasonable price. I was happy.

Apr 2023, pilot light on water heater wasn't staying lit. I checked it all including electrical readings and knew it was the gas control valve. PB came out same day again, awesome. $85 later he confirmed it was the control valve (duh). Here is when I lost faith in PB... instead of focusing on the repair, he tried to sell me a new unit that he had on the truck for $2300+... Said he could replace the valve but would have to call around, not sure if they have one anywhere, might not be done before the weekend and was quoted $900 for that, oh and he couldn't guarantee the work, said if it leaks again and it probably will that I'd be just throwing money away (scare tactic). Nice guy, but told him I'd think about it. Went inside, quickly found the part online (common part) and had it overnighted for $150 total and put it in myself in about 25 min (6 screws, 4 fittings, 3 electrical connections, some PTFE tape and a drop of grease). I really didn't have the time for this, honestly I did it out of spite.

This is not on the technician at all, he seemed very knowledgeable and was very friendly. This is about PB's unnecessary structured tactics and shameful sales programming injected into their routine services. I'm sure the quality of work is fine, but integrity and ethics should come first and those appear to be last priority to Peterman Brothers in this last case.

Bummed because after my Feb 2022 experience I thought I found a respectable service company I could finally rely on and recommend to people.... back to the drawing board I guess.
