Winter's Plumbing was such an interesting mix of great and not-so-great.  I've contacted them twice; they are routinely more quickly available than most other plumbers, which is great as plumbing is always urgent.  The first time, another plumber was available same day (unusual). The second time in need, Winters was available the following morning, which was excellent.  It even made me look past Winters' $239 price for clearing a bathroom sink clog: perhaps it was that high because the work would be on a Saturday.  And when I called back and mentioned that I had Covid but would stay out of circulation, it didn't phase Winters.  Amazing. They promised arrival 9 AM, called at 8 AM to tell us they'd be there promptly at 9:00, and they were. Superb.  Wore booties, checked everything out, and went to work. UNFORTUNATELY: they couldn't clear the clog.  (Yes, we have an old house but I don't believe we've ever had a plumber who couldn't clear the line.
Can't say they didn't try:  Vacuum hose: no. Small snake: no.  Large snake: oops, too large  Small Snake: machine locked up, started smoking. 1+ hour and a few calls to HQ, no success.  Leaving our front door open multiple times wasn't good (very active cats).  A request that I pay  1/2 now and  1/2 when they fixed it on Tuesday: I had to firmly pass.  An explanation of what they would do on Tuesday: didn't give me confidence.  Final outcome: I proposed paying their entire service charge (a much lower-than-market $39, nice) and letting them spend Tuesday on other customers: accepted.  Again, a real mix of very good and not very good, from very nice people.

Scott from Cooper's Water, LLC was recommended to us by a neighbor. He came and diagnosed a broken soft water resin tank and from start to finish our service was professional, extremely courteous, and reasonably priced. I highly recommend this company and the technician, Jesse, who arrived to service the drinking water filtration system and to replace the resin tank.

It was apparent that the previous plumber had misdiagnosed the issue and was not transparent about the options. I appreciated the honesty and presentation of options that helped us decide what was best for our situation. I highly recommend!!!

I currently live in Phoenix, but I still own my house in Indy and have it rented out.  I manage this property on my own (I refuse to give a property management company 10% of the rent I receive every month), so whenever something needs repair, I have to jump into action.  There was a leak in the powder room, so I did a search on Home Advisor (my usual go-to), but they only came back with one contractor, and that company didn't have any review.  FAIL!  So I hopped onto Yelp, saw the great reviews for Hope and called them right away.  Initially I talked to Brad, and he was very helpful, and would have been able to send someone out to the house the next day.  However, I was waiting to hear back from my tenants. When I called back, Christina was very helpful and they were able to accommodate my tenants' availability!  I paid for the service over the phone with a credit card, and received a copy of the invoice via email.  I haven't heard a peep out of my tenants, so Hope must've done a good job! I'll be using them again, if needed.

We had a emergency situation at the house, backed up drain in the basement with flooding. Seriously 24-7 was the first people we contacted. They were very quick to get to the house, around 90 minutes. Great response time. The technician was very friendly and explained everything that we needed to know.

The situation was taken care of, basement drained nicely and couldn't be more happy with the service we received.

Adam and his helper at Grateful Plumber were beyond anything I could've hoped for! We had a cracked toilet flange in a concrete slab, in a small space. Luckily Adams an expert and kept all the work isolated to the bathroom and got us all back together in 1 day!! I can't thank him enough for everything!! Definitely recommend him for any plumbing needs you have!

I recently signed up with an annual hvac and plumbing service agreement with Chapman. We installed a new hvac unit a few years back and it started making a high pitched whining noise. The company we purchased the unit through ultimately lost our confidence by lack of knowledge and difficulty scheduling service.
Chapman sent a service tech who immediately heard the noise and knew what it was, since has come back and replaced the part.
My experience with Chapman has been excellent. From scheduling to communication to tech being professional. I Highly recommend this company.

I have used Big Frog Plumbing for two jobs. They where fantastic! Quick and clean. Very affordable. They even told me I didn't need some things to save me money! I highly recommend using them for you next plumbing job!!

Pictures indicated complicated door installation but my simple door installation was unacceptable! Asked if he could recommend someone......not able to recommend any one else. Gets one star because he at least got back with us.

from the very first estimate, to the last detail on the services completed, we were pleased with Jamie and his staff! we had quite a bit of work to be done on 2 different bathrooms and everything was very clearly written out on estimate, explained to us and we knew exactly what to expect financially. when the work was scheduled to be done, our daughter ended up being sick and they were very considerate and offered to reschedule(but we didnt!). they were very clean and polite and did a great job. they were very patient with us and answered all our questions and let us peek in at the work they were doing all day. the problems we had were solved, looked great and the whole experience was positive. the man they used to complete the drywall installation also did a great job and carter's came back the next day after he was finished to take care of the final details. we are so thankful for the good work they did and the way we were treated :) would definitely use them again and refer them to friends. they even sent us a thank you note after the job was done and a small gift card as a thank you. thanks jamie, kelson and staff!!

Howald has my business for life. They have gone above and beyond for me. They have showed up at night in a storm and saved me. They are always courteous and kind. Do yourself a favor and try them out, you deserve it.

I came home all strung out from the road. The kids were home and two of our three toilets were clogged. Darn kids!  

I called Plumbing Heating Paramedics and the dispatch girl made it happen on short notice and dispatched a plumber. Yes, the upstairs toilet was clogged beyond my level of patience that day. Matt arrived and got the job done.  He was thorough and professional.  Thank you for saving me from having to dig the auger out to unclog the toilet!  The service call was a little salty at $147. Granted he arrived on short notice on Friday around 5pm. My time and patience are worth something. And that day I would have paid twice as much not to have to mess with it. I am an electrical and technology systems contractor with no patience to deal with plumbing issues.  If you are in a jam,call these guys!

Excellent to work with. Came out same day for a broken sump pump and they quickly replaced it for a reasonable price. I will use them again.

These guys were great....they came within an hour of my call, looked at the issue, answered all our questions....did what needed to be done!

The only reason I will not give Godby five stars, I'll explain later. Air conditioner went out in my home. Godby has serviced my home before, so I gave them a call. A technician came out, and told me it was the furnace. It was the original furnace that came with the house, so I figured it was time to replace it. The person I spoke with to set up the appointment was very kind and got my appointment set up for the next day. She also gave me a window as to how long the job would take.  The next day came and I received a call from Deacon telling me that they are on the way. Soon after,  Deacon and Joe was at my door. They introduced themselves, and came in. Right away they got started on removing the old one and in with the new one. During that time, Joe came upstairs and put in the new thermostat. He told me that when they were finished, he'd explain the new functions on it (digital, touch screen, Bluetooth, very cool!). Not long after, they called me downstairs and the job was done. Joe came with me back upstairs and explained in detail the use of the new thermostat. During the time in my home, both guys were very professional, courtious and easy to get along with. Great job guys. As they were leaving, I asked for a business card. They said they didn't have cards of their own. Godby, get your technicians business cards!
Now, the only reason for the 4 stars was because I had to have a very minor adjustment made. Without calling, the guy just showed up! I could see that he was from Godby by his vehicle and shirt, but didn't tell me who He was. He got the job done quickly and was nice, but gave no heads up that he was on his way.

Cost competitive, great value and fantastic service quality!

My central air failed about a month ago - compressor bearing. I spoke with several companies and Action Air came out on top for a number of reasons:
1. They were able to provide some rough estimates over the phone - not commitments - just estimates.
2. They provided several ideas about what I could check before diving into a new system
3. Their contract for equipment and service and warranty is clear, concise and simple - no fine print
4. They didn't miss a single commitment on getting the job done.
5. Their costs were competitive - and they were transparent about them.

How their competitors operate:
In my experience with (all) other HVAC companies, they will not provide any cost estimates without a home visit which they charge for - usually around $80. This cost is then voided if you buy from them. For me, I paid another company the $80 for the service call, then they quoted me 20% more for the system. The worst is when the service provider does the service call, but they have to send a sales person in for the quote. This NVA overhead ultimately gets paid by the end customer (see 20% higher cost above). This sales approach is so 1990s. Hey, let's figure out a way to get paid for our sales effort... our service call will get us in the door, we'll hook the customer by agreeing to wave the charge if they buy from us and then hike our prices to pay for commissions, overhead, etc. This is a formula that is one-way transnational and kills any hope for an ongoing customer relationship. Do they really think their customers are not sophisticated enough to get this?

So in the end, Action Air is the best HVAC service I have ever experienced. Pretty cool.

Our technician, Jeremy, was very punctual.  When he came in he immediately put his orange booties on and went to work.  He was very professional in his inspection and confirmed what we already knew in one bathroom.   With the exception of the one bathroom we passed the inspection.  Jeremy gave us helpful advice in the settings on our water heater.  Once done with the inspection I asked him if he could repair the problem in the guest bathroom and he said he could, and he did.  Even with the help of one of our five cats.   We have dealt with this company several times now and am very pleased with their services.

Less than 0 stars!!!  We has a heating and air system installed in January.  By the end of February we have started to have issues.  We have had 5 service techs come out with no resolve.  They came out Friday March 17th and could not fix it.  Told us they would come out Monday.  This weekend the temps have been in the 20's. What company does not service over the weekend to fix something? We started posting comments on their Facebook page.  Peterman Brothers deleted all of our comments.  Who does that? We have had no phone calls,  no emails,  NOTHING!!!!  POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!
