I can't recommend this company enough! Jesse, Steve's son, did such a great job helping us out. He not only came out quickly, but he explained things as he went along. He was very helpful and did such a great job fixing our water issues. We can't thank them enough!

We called Winters Plumbing because we had a leak after I over tightened a water supply line and mucked up the threads when installing a new faucet.
Isaiah came to our rescue. He did such a fabulous job and in a short amount of time. Very polite and knowledgeable and answered all our questions.
Great attitude, friendly and a nice guy to boot.
I would suggest Isaiah and Winters Plumbing to anyone.
Terrific company with great employees!

I called Coopers after the contractor my home warranty company sent missed two appointments. Mr Cooper (I'm guessing) arrived on time for the initial appointment and carried his briefcase like an OG salesman - I actually appreciate a simple old school approach! I purchased the softener for about the same amount my warranty company had paid me for - and knowing warranty companies, they nickel and dime, so the price from Cooper's was great. The guy came to install a few days later - I had to schedule a time when I could work from home, otherwise, they could have done it the next day - setup was quick and easy and the tech was polite and explained everything I needed to know! Highly recommend!

This is my 2nd time using Hope Plumbing. The first was an okay experience. They came out to hook up a gas line to my Washer/Dryer combo. I even let them put a sign in my front yard. But this most recent experience has not been so pleasant. I believe my most recent experience with Hope Plumbing to be either lazy or uneducated, I'm not sure which.
I called them out to look at my tankless water heater that was giving an error code. I agreed (at the time) to pay the hefty $99 service fee. I told them a 30 min window when I would not be available. Guess when the technician showed up? Two minutes before that 30 minute window. What even is the point of having scheduling blocks?
Since I was unable to monitor the troubleshooting and work done I have very good reason to believe that the bare minimum was done to diagnose the error code problem for reasons I'll mention later. Rich gave me 3 quotes. 1) Flush the tankless water heater ($300) 2) Repair this current water heater which would include a $600 call to Rheem/Richmond technical support that Hope Plumbing passes the cost along to me, the customer. 3) A completely new system for $7,000.
But don't worry, I had to hear about their member program 4 times. Where you set up monthly payments from your bank routing number. No thanks.
After I told Rich I'd think about the 3 quotes, I call Rheem/Richmond's customer support line for tankless water heaters (for free). The lady was very nice and sent the troubleshooting guide for my model of water heater that included my error code. That's when I realized that Rich did not know or did not follow the troubleshooting for this error code laid out by Rheem. Lazy? Or uneducated?
I called back to Hope to first confirm that I did have a scheduling block set for 10:30. They confirmed I did. I told them Rich showed up right at my scheduling block. They apologized. I asked what was done to diagnose my error code. Carrie with Hope said that she trusts Rich's diagnosis. Based on what? Not the troubleshooting guide by Rheem. She said she would schedule a 2nd technician to come out and take a look at no additional cost. The technician texted that he was 30 mins away at 8:52 AM. That would leave only 30 minutes for diagnosis before another scheduling block. Running in to the exact same problem.
I immediately call up Carrie and tell her I was maybe wrongly under the impression that the tech would be here earlier. I suggest we go our separate ways and refund my $99 service fee from the day prior. Carrie transfers me to her manager, Hope and she refunds my service fee.
What a waste of time. I've completely lost trust in this plumber and business. Many other reviews here state how Hope Plumbing is pricier than its competitors. If you're going to be more expensive... you'd better be an expert in your field and give much better service than I received. Buyer beware. Look elsewhere.

These guys really put in the work to get me all set up. Called and had someone on scene ready to go in less than 3 hours. What I thought would be a small repair turned in to small project. As a new home owner and a young guy it feels daunting having your first major issue that you can't handle on your own and I'm glad to have had these fine fellows backing me up.

I needed the wax rings replaced on two toilets and Grateful Plumber came out and checked out another toilet while there to make sure it didn't have any issues. i would definitely call again if I have any other plumbing issues.

My first time using this company. I can say that I am impressed with the quality of work. There was a kitchen drain that was giving me problems and their plumber provided an easy fix. I do appreciate the technician's knowledge and communication style. He was able to provide me quotes for other services I want in the future. I am excited to add this company to my list of servicers.

I had Mike out to do some work on a hot tub in a new house. He was helpful and beyond the work told me where to get parts so I could work on things myself. That's the mark of a
Contractor that's got enough work they don't care about you doing some of the work to cut costs.

Amazing! Prompt service (arrived that day)! Very fair and didn't charge us for the visit after nothing ended up being wrong or in need of repair! Will be using them in the future and recommend him to our family and friends!

Paul and the team at Carter's saved the day. After many awful experiences with companies no showing appointments, giving inaccurate troubleshooting, and generally fear mongering about our lack of water, we could tell immediately that Paul was the real deal. He showed up and did a little trouble shooting, but after years of experience was able to conclude that the well pump itself was the issue. Not a cheap fix, but we decided to move forward and replace. Even when they hit a wall because our old pump turned out to be stuck, Paul knew what we should do and who to call, and worked with the second party company to prioritize our job. Although we ran over into a second day, they showed up early the next morning, got to work, and came up with a solution that did NOT involve drilling a new well when our old pump broke off during pulling. We have water!!! Thank you Paul and team for doing the job right and being transparent along the way. We will be calling Carter's for any future plumbing needs!!

Howald team replaced our furnace last year (Michael and Russ did a great job) and most recently we called Howald to come work on our plumbing.
Scheduling was easy and we didn't have to wait very long (1-2 days at most). Their office communicated appointment details and all the updates proactively, so we always knew what to expect and when the crew would come. Joe and Austin were professional, friendly, and got our vintage faucet fixed in under an hour. Very happy with the result and all the work was priced reasonably.
We will definitely use Howald for our future house needs and recommend to everyone.

I called this company after reading the reviews online after waking up to no heat at all on one of the coldest days of the year. My inside temp was 50 degrees. I put in an emergency call at 6:38 am Tuesday 1/16/2018. I was advised a technician would call me when they were on their way to my home...I'm still waiting on that technician to call me. Absolutely unprofessional, especially in an emergency situation. Did not and will not ever use their services. Had to select at least one star in order to leave this comment however, I would choose zero if I could!

Mark was GREAT to work with. I called after hours, he picked up right away and after explaining the problem with my water heater he was able to get to the problem right away. He even sent me a picture of what the issue was and explained what had to be done to get it fixed. One of the nicest and most pleasant experiences I have had. He is honest and upfront! I HIGHLY recommend him.

We have been a customer of Godby for probably over 10 years. We are on their Club Godby. I'll say they have very good service however, I called to have them look at a couple of things. There is a $99 service call which is fine. We needed a frost free outside spigot repaired and Gary the technician (who has been here before and is a nice guy) gave me the estimate to replace one outside faucet (spigot) and I was shocked. I expected it to be over $200.? but it was over $400. Labor is over $200 per hour. I told Gary to forget it and paid the $99 call fee. We will be looking for another HVAC and plumbing company. BTW, the 3 stars were for their service. If I had to give a star rating on pricing, it would be a one.

My parents and I got a flyer from Action Air for their different services. These include Water Heater, Drain Cleaning, Sewer Water Line, and others. We recently encountered a clog with a kitchen sink, and thought to give their service a try.
Scheduled an appointment for them to come and diagnose the issue. Their phone service is a bit weird, they have an operator to take phone calls, and someone will call back. This seems inefficient to me, but different business, different operations. When the plumber went out take a look, their diagnosis was they are unable to run the drain machine, and frozen pipes. They mentioned to me that they might need to replace the pipes and plumbing. They said they will consult with their boss for a quote during business hours.
That's understandable, but I wanted to try someone else. So I called for a second opinion, and was actually referred to a company named Commercial Sewer Cleaning. They said they also had a lot of calls ahead and might not be the same day, but left my number. They actually called back the same day, and was able to come take a look at the clog as well. I told them the diagnosis from Action Air, but they told me that shouldn't be the issue. The current piping might be old, but it does have insulation and is not exposed to the elements. They were later on able to snake the pipe and clear it up.
So Action Air gave me the wrong diagnosis. It seems like they want more work and money to replace the pipes. Which would still not resolve the issue cause there will be no change to the clog further down the pipe. To me, their plumbers do not seem to have the knowledge and experience of how to correctly diagnose problems, and it is unprofessional.

I am very pleased with the full furnace and A/C installation that I had completed on my home today by Summers Plumbing Heating & Cooling out of Brownsburg. The ancient furnace, which came with the home my wife I just purchased, was putting out anemic heat and eventually had a seizing blower motor. Summers quickly responded by sending out an install crew first thing the next morning. Jaritt, Mike, and Jonathan were very courteous, efficient, and went above and beyond to ensure everything was working perfectly. Thank you Summers PHC for all of your help! It is great to finally have good heat in the house.

Peterman came out to replace three seals between the tank and the bowl of the toilet. The tech seemed to think he wasn't there to do a repair (he was; I didn't ask for an estimate only appointment, I asked for a repair, which was also the understanding of the scheduling department at Peterman. Josh also barely looked at the toilet before he made an outrageous flat quote. I attempted to get an explanation of the charges, what was parts, what was labor, how much per hour, etc...and he didn't know. He did not know a lot; he just kept repeating That's what They tell me to charge. He came without parts, and when I was talking to Service to find out why Josh was in such a hurry to go quote other jobs instead of repair, he started TALKING OVER ME from across the room, scoffing at what I was telling them. Telling the whole tale in detail to Alan Scott, the Service Manager, got me nowhere and they feel justified in using flat overpricing and not really bothering to listen or read what was sent them. DO NOT USE PETERMAN; THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF!!!! DO NOT USE PETERMAN; THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF!!! DO NOT USE PETERMAN; THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF!!!
Do I recommend them....well, NO.
