The Grateful Plumber is my go-to for all plumbing needs. For a little over $500 he replaced an outdoor faucet, treated my slow draining sink, checked the water line behind my refrigerator, and showed me where my water main was (in the front yard). Excellent value and service. Highly recommend.

I would let these guys fix my grandma's plumbing!!!
Recently had to call them during a remodeling project. Super quick response time. Got a text 10 min before they arrived, exactly when they promised. Quickly diagnosed the issue, quoted me the price to fix (which was very reasonable) and finished the job faster than I expected. I would most definitely recommend this business as I will be using them if ever needed in the future.

I reached out to Grateful Plumber through Yelp and was pleasantly surprised to get a message back within minutes. He said I could call to discuss what I needed. I remember being surprised because it was after 5/6, what I would have considered outside normal business hours. I was able to schedule service for my garbage disposal within 4 days. I immediately received a text confirming my appointment and then a text when he was on his way. Thankfully it was nothing major, a tiny spoon had somehow gotten stuck in there. Adam was quick and professional. I wish I had not waited so long to get this taken care of. If I have any more plumbing needs I will definitely contact them again.

Responded quick, guy was up front about availability an was understanding when I he added me to the schedule an said I should try an find a 24/7 company if I needed faster response, just asked to let him know if I do so he can remove me from his day. I've never received such poor service. Besides the faucet dripping after a supposedly new one was installed, the owner then insisting it's normal and they'll charge me another $49 to come out again if he thinks nothing is wrong, today I noticed numerous scratches in the wood laminate flooring in front of the rug in front of the sink. I don't know what they did but clearly you can't trust these guys in your home. They could've easily put something down to protect the floor. They clearly don't care or only give good service to certain people. They only offer a 30 day guarantee on their own work but tell me delta offers a lifetime warranty on the faucet. Conveniently they took the box the faucet came in and any warranty information with them. The receipt they sent shows only one price for everything, $359. No company accepts that as proof of purchase. They were here for 30 minutes and only did damage
Highly responsive and identified issues quickly to address a flooded basement. I felt they cared about my dilemma and had the expertise to create the best possible plan for a fix at an affordable price. I highly recommend them.

This review incorporates three separate visits to my home by Grateful Plumbers. Friday, 8/7/20 an estimate, Monday, 8/10/20 rough plumbing and Friday, 8/14/20 connecting plumbing and installation of vanity. Adam, with Grateful Plumbers, came out last week to provide an estimate for plumbing a new dual sink bathroom vanity from a single sink vanity and then complete hook-up and installation after movers get vanity from garage into bathroom location. Adam was professional, had competetive pricing and honest about concerns he could encounter with a 65 year old house.
Adam's concerns were justified when he returned on Monday to plumb the new drains and water lines. Several things weren't where we expected or it was an extremely tight fit into the existing space. I was thinking a new, simple T-drain off the existing drain when I purchased the new vanity but not so much. Regardless, Adam made everything work with a few modifications.
Next, and last, the new vanity was moved into place by Bell Hop Movers. They did an awesome job moving the heavy vanity with the marble top and sinks already attached. More to come under their business.
Adam worked within our schedule and budget, his apprentice, Brandon, was major helpful, both were polite, down-to-earth and did a good job. I'm glad we went with Grateful Plumbers.

Please for the love of god listen to the customer's simple request or explain your rationale.
Toilet replacement estimated 350-500 buckets! Was that so hard.

Came out to check out a toilet I thought I had a problem with. It was fine. Offered to look at another issue with a faucet since he was already there. Great service.

We had a problem with a faucet that had been installed by the grateful plumber back in February I called on Wednesday and they came out on Thursday morning fixed it free of charge. Great service and care for their customers!
Adam and his helper at Grateful Plumber were beyond anything I could've hoped for! We had a cracked toilet flange in a concrete slab, in a small space. Luckily Adams an expert and kept all the work isolated to the bathroom and got us all back together in 1 day!! I can't thank him enough for everything!! Definitely recommend him for any plumbing needs you have!

Adam and his helper actually just left my property. Had an appointment this morning for plumbing repairs and new equipment installation. All work was completed quickly and prioerly. I also thought for all the work they did, the price was quite reasonable. This was the first time I had used this business, but in the future they will be my first call.
We had a clog in the line running from the washer to our exit pipes, and of course one never discovers this until the next wash day. I REALLY wanted to get this fixed SAME DAY so we could proceed with the wash - Grateful Plumber promised to arrive within 5 hours, and called me in 3 hours ready to come. I wasn't home yet; they used the combination I gave them and were in and out before I got back. Solid price, EXCELLENT service. They rock.
These guys are great. I came back home from a 3 day road trip and held my poop in the whole time because I didn't want to use a yucky gas station dumper. When I made it home I showed no mercy to the toilet and let loose. This was not smart because I completely flooded the toilet and it was clogged. I called these fellas up and they fixed it right up and everything is working again.
I needed the wax rings replaced on two toilets and Grateful Plumber came out and checked out another toilet while there to make sure it didn't have any issues. i would definitely call again if I have any other plumbing issues.
Great communication (texts confirming appointment time and when plumber was on the way), on time (or even early! - called first to confirm availability), professional demeanor, gave options to repair and/or replace, left repair area clean. Plus - we're back to taking hot showers again! Very satisfied!
This is the 2nd time I have used Grateful Plumber, both times they have been on time, well priced, and very responsive to my numerous questions. Adam has worked to get our old pipes flowing again while letting us know what problems could be coming down the line and what may need to be done to fix other issues (we have an old system and large trees, a bad combination...). I trust Adam and will continue to use and highly recommend Grateful Plumber to all who ask.
Arrived right on time, gave a reasonable quote for the work that needed to be completed, completed it in less than an two hours and everything has been working great ever since!! Our sink had been leaking and it turned out the plumbing work had not been done correctly so Adam and Brandon got it fixed for us! Highly recommend!

From four plumbing companies Grateful Plumbing was the only company that would give me a quote for a straightforward job. All I wanted was a quote for a shut off valve replacement. Other companies talk about straight out of the book pricing but they don't want to give you the straight out of the book price before the work. Work was completed in 20 minutes. Not cheap, but professional and on time.

Always prompt, quotes reasonable, no surprises and no waiting. Adam has replaced 3 toilets, several faucets , and an outdoor water valve through the years.
Quality of work and materials are both excellent.
Adam's been to my house twice to fix my piece of junk water heater. His communication, honesty, timeliness, and service has always been excellent. Highly recommend!
We needed our kitchen sink unplugged, and they did a efficient job of taking care of it. They were also right on time early in the morning.
I would definitely use Grateful Plumber again, they responded quickly to my service request, and I didn't have to wait long to get the work done. Their prices are fair and reasonable and was less than other plumbers I called. And the quality of the work was great and they were respectful of my home.

My sump pump went out on NYE (a great day for that to happen)! Grateful Plumbers was one of the suggested plumbers for Thumbtack. Adam answered the phone on New Year's Day and I was able to get scheduled in for the very next day. He was a couple of hours late, but had called me to let me know. The quote was pretty high (around $563), considering that I went to Menard's and was able to buy a sump pump for $150. I knew this ahead of time, but there was a $49 call fee for him to come out to the house, which would have been deducted from my total bill had he replaced the pump.
Very timely, came and did exactly what we needed with no pressure for unnecessary add-ons. Will definitely be using for our future needs!
Loved that they showed up in masks, fully covering mouth and nose. They were quick to identify the problem and gave an expert quote for both materials and labor. Always professional.

I got up in the morning, headed to the shower. There was this gross smelly backup the have come up our shower drain. I really wasn't sure who to call. Adam is a great guy. He is knowledgable and accommodating. He is always thorough, prompt and communicative. I use him for all my clients plumbing needs and would recommend him to anyone. My only reason not to give 5 stars is the pricing sometimes a little higher than average but hey.. I am not a plumber, he is and everybody has to eat so who am I to balk at his pricing. Besides, what is cooler than a plumber with a Dead inspired logo? I will happily pay more for good vibes matched with quality service.
Adam from Grateful Plumber was great to work with. He had a friendly and professional demeanor. He responded to my yelp request for a quote within minutes. He arrived timely and texted before arrival. He quickly addressed and repaired the problem, and he did a great job of explaining the issue to me in the process. He also pointed out that a future repair may be looming with our aging plumbing so we would be prepared for it.

Will absolutely work with Grateful Plumber again. Adam responded very quickly on Yelp with a general estimate. Then he came out on a cold morning to work on our outdoor pump, was on time, and gave us an estimate that was on the high-end of what it would cost. Came back out to do the work, was on time yet again, and it ended up being more of a pain to fix that he first thought. Despite that, the total amount he charged us was significantly less than his high-end quote! I was a little shocked to be honest, because we were prepared to pay the entire amount. That is how you get repeat business, and Grateful will get ours.
EDIT: I have no idea why it says I'm in San Francisco. I live in Avon, Indiana, and this repair was done locally.

I am very pleased with the Grateful Plumber! Not only did he respond quickly to my query through Yelp, he was friendly and informative over the phone. I was given a time window for my appointment and he showed up on time with an assistant. He patiently answered my questions, offered thoughtful advice and gave me quotes before starting work. The job was done quickly, reasonably and cleanly. I have a couple of bigger jobs to be done in the future and will call on the Grateful Plumber for them!
Although Adam wasn't able to fix my problem he was direct and I feel very honest about the situation. There wasn't any way around needing to replace the water heater. I tried myself to remove the leaky hose and it was as if the coupling had been welded to the inlet. Any more pressure and I would've probably broken off the inlet.
They provide a great service. They were on time and the work quality was above my expectations. Adam from the greatful plumber was Awesome. I'll be calling them from now on.

We needed to have Grateful Plumber come to our home for an evaluation of a possible leak. He showed up early and was rude to the tenants. He said he fixed the issue, which took about 15 min of his time. The charge was $201. Overall, seems overpriced for simple fix with few parts. Not happy with experience overall.
I Love Grateful Plumber. My business is baking and when I had a leak in my gas line he came out that day assessed the problem, showed me the problem gave me options and my estimate no pressure sales. I had two other plumbers from very reputable plumbing companies come out one couldn't not fix it that day and the other showed up 2 hours late. Adam had all the equipment on his truck and he and his helper were ready to work. His prices are competitive with other Good plumbing companies,He has a great website, he sends a text when he is on his way, he has online scheduling, he educates you, you can call him anytime when you have a question. Grateful Plumber has impeccable customer service and is my number 1 go to Plumber!
I was in desperate need to have a waterline installed for my refrigerator, I called three other companies and Grateful Plumber was able to get to me that day. They showed up in a very well advertised van, in uniform, introduced themselves, assessed the project gave me a very reasonable quote and got to work. They had the job done in a very timely manner, my cats were very curious and they were so sweet to my cats. They cleaned up the mess and were finished in 30 minutes. Everything is electronic so I got a text to let me know exactly when they would be here, I could track them on my map, and I could pay with my credit card and they offered to send my invoice to my email or print it out. Awesome service!

I am so grateful for Grateful Plumber! My water heater started leaking all over my basement. I wanted to give my money to a local small business and read wonderful reviews about Grateful Plumber. They were extremely professional and very friendly. They looked over my immediate problem and looked at what may have caused it. They showed me that my water softener was broken and had been for sometime. I also remembered my sinks were draining slowly so they fixed that. They said my water heater was under warranty so I saved so much money! I was very happy with all the work done.
