I served in the Army from 1975 to 1979. After serving my country I began working as a Plumbing appendicitis. Then I received my plumbing Contractor’s license in 1984 and opened my business in 1986. I moved from Connecticut to Indianpolis in 1989 and took the Plumbing contractors test here in Indianapolis in 1990 and opened my business that same year. Since then I’ve owned S&M Plumbing Inc. and did new construction plumbing for 12 years. After that I down sized to one truck and taught my sons the plumbing business. Jesse came out and fixed my toilets that other plumbing companies wouldn't.
Had the guts replaced last year and the other company told me that I had to replace the entire toilet - Jesse took one look and said oh here is the issue.... Fixed.
I had him come out and replace the guts of the third toilet and he was finished in about 30 minutes and it works great.
Super responsive and knowledgeable. I have recommended to my friends and will absolutely use again.
Steve's son came out and did a great job. He worked very hard to get my cartridge out of my shower faucet. The whole process was difficult when it should have been fairly easy. But that's plumbing. He was dedicated to doing everything right. I will be a future customer for other job's that come up. Highly recommended!

We just moved into our house and found our washer box valves were leaking in our washer box. They were able to come within 24 hours to fix. Jesse did a great job. He was very professional, educated me on our main water shut off, and completed the job very quickly.

I called Steve for a quote on a late Friday afternoon to replace our washer's hot and cold valves. He asked me to text him a picture and in minutes I got a response with options. Jesse arrived late Monday morning, knocked it out and left the area clean. Highly recommend!
We needed our sewer pump replaced and did a random search on Yelp. Jesse was our plumber and he did an OUTSTANDING job! The most immaculate CLEAN plumber I have ever had, any mess or cleanup he did and left the area SPOTLESS. On top of that the job was suppose to take between and hour and a half to 2 hrs and he was done in an hour flat! Took pride in his work and was very thorough in explaining the details to me. Could not recommend this company enough, and shoutout to Jesse for making someone who has Extreme OCD and germaphobia feel comfortable!

The shower faucet in one of your bathrooms was stuck with the water turned on. Long story short we could not turn it off and essentially had to turn the main water off to our house. I contacted a couple other plumbers who gave me quotes that were pretty expensive. I contacted Steve at 10 pm not expecting a response. He contacted me within 5 mins, had me send him photos, and the first option he provided me was cost effective and a 1/4 gift price and work of the other quotes I received. While he did offer the same options as the other quotes -which came with a higher price, he assured me it was not necessary. He sent Jesse, who was awesome! My dog loved him too. He knew exactly what to do do, showed me the issue, and had it fixed quickly. Jesse was very polite and had great customer service! He did an excellent job! Honestly I cringe when I think of having any independent contractor come to fix something in my home but Its a relieve to know I can trust Steve Morin Plumbing for all my plumbing needs in the future. Thank you so much!
What a revelation! When our water heater died over the weekend, I called Steve Morin Plumbing expecting to leave a message and hope for a response on Monday. Much to my surprise, Mr. Morin answered and agreed to replace the water heater the next day by rearranging his calendar. Later that Sunday evening, I exchanged photos of the existing installation and we discussed the process for the next day. Steve's son Jesse arrived on time and completed the work efficiently including a full clean-up. In this day and age when reliable contractors are all but impossible to find, these guys are awesome and will be our plumbers going forward. HIGHLY recommended!

We were having issues with our kitchen sink which was incredibly problematic. Jesse came out and replaced a valve and installed a new faucet. His service was excellent and he didn't try to upsell us on things we did not need. He was incredibly professional, friendly and provided excellent service. The outdoor faucet at our home was leaking into the kitchen and the basement. We contacted multiple plumbers to get a quote. Steve Morin, the owner responded to my inquiry very quickly. He answered all of my questions and provided a very reasonable quote ($350 to $450). He explained that the final pricing would be dependent on the repair.
Jesse Morin, arrived on time and was very polite and helpful. He was also very informative and showed me what he needed to do to make the repair. He answered all my questions. I actually learned things about the plumbing in our home of 20 years.
Added bonus: Jesse was actually able to do the repairs at the lower side of the quoted price range. The Morin family is now our new #1 plumber of choice!!!
I can't recommend this company enough! Jesse, Steve's son, did such a great job helping us out. He not only came out quickly, but he explained things as he went along. He was very helpful and did such a great job fixing our water issues. We can't thank them enough!

Steve Morin plumbing put in a water heater for us back in May. Great service and no mess. Today I woke up with water in the basement next to the water heater. I instantly called and they got someone out to us so quickly and helped us figure out the issue (it was NOT the water heater).
Thankfully the informative staff member really helped make my morning suck a little bit less and helped direct us of who we needed to call next seeing that it was a city sewage issue.

Our water heater died on Memorial Day (of course) and I desperately put out a plea for help. A friend recommended Steve Morin Plumbing, I dropped him a text, and we were set for the following morning!
Admittedly, we immediately went to Lowes to price out new units and discussed installation with them. However, we learned that their installation doesn't include all the kits you would need for a proper install. This was NOT the case with Steve -- he quoted us a total price and stuck with it from beginning to end -- no hidden costs what so ever.
His son and an assistant came to the house and were so friendly. They explained what they were doing and what to expect once the new unit was in. They even gave me tips on prolonging the life of the new State brand water heater they installed. Jesse even stuck around to ensure it was warming up before he left and took the time to answer questions.
I highly recommend Steve Morin and his team for your plumbing needs!

Steve Morin Plumbing was very responsive over a holiday weekend. They were great to work with and would definitely recommend.
We are in the middle of moving and fulfilling all repairs needed to be done before the new buyers close on the house. Steve was incredibly responsive and provided a quote in a matter of minutes. What started out as a positive experience ended up being not so great.
I had a Steve lined up to come today (3/4/19). I felt very comfortable with him and his reviews. I took a half day off of work and was home by 11:45 at the latest. Steve called and texted at 12:04 to say his plumber was on his way and was I home? I didn't hear his phone call or text, either because I walked outside to the mailbox at one point or just didn't hear it when I was mopping the floor. I called Steve around thirty minutes after his initial phone call and he curtly told me he sent his worker (his son) to another location. Note: I was home. He said he would send his son out between 12:30 and 1:30, after he finished up with his previous job. He never said he would call ahead of time. I had just texted him pictures of the water damage the previous night (3/3/19) so, obviously, I was going to be home.
There was no excuse for what he did. His reasoning was they always call ahead of time because customers change their minds. That was NEVER mentioned to me.
I was very clear that he was the plumber I wanted to use, and that I was taking a half day off. Obviously, I planned to be home if I texted him on Sunday night at 7:00, showing him pictures of the water damage in my home.
I would never treat a customer like this, and as a result, I would never recommend him to anyone.
I had a backup sump pump malfunction and I just want to give kudos to Steve and Jesse for diagnosing the problem and seeing it through to the end. Puts a homeowner at ease knowing they won't have a flooded basement. Steve makes sure the job is done right before signing off on it.

Got scheduled the day and time I wanted. Showed up a half hour late, but most plumbers have half hour window. Because we knew the source of the leak, they did not charge diagnostic fee. Cleaned up afterwards (for the most part). Very friendly. They only take one type of credit card and charge an extra fee if you use credit card (5%). But Jesse did a great job. Would definitely use them again! Bonded and insured.
Steve was great on the phone with providing a quick quote and one that was the best value quote we could find. With ours being an urgent issue he booked us in for the following day and his son came to fit the water heater. He wore a mask at all times however he didn't introduce himself so he caught my wife off guard slightly, but he was pleasant, continuously washed his hands and they did a fantastic job, hauled away the old heater, and we have a great 1 year warranty covered by Steve of any issues arise. We will definitely use Steve again.

I have had Jesse, Steve's son, come to my home three times in the past year, and I have had a very positive experience every time. Last winter, our water meter froze in the front lawn because our pit was slightly open. It burst, and sprayed water, as well as stopped the water going into my house. Steve was very quick to answer the phone, and talked to me calmly while I was highly stressed after having no water in my home for three days. He did what he could to adjust the schedule so that Jesse could come help me, at a time when I'm sure many other homes were experiencing busted pipes due to the freezing temperatures. Jesse was friendly and explained what was happening clearly. He drained the pit, explained what I needed to tell the city so they could fix the meter, and left me with a quote to fix the actual pit when the weather warmed so this wouldn't happen again. Steve and Jesse helped me get through my stress and frustration, and also taught me some things I didn't know yet about home ownership.
This fall, Jesse fixed two leaky toilets, and again, explained everything he was doing before proceeding, and was very clear about pricing. He was also kind enough to talk us through some other unrelated questions we had for possible future work.
Finally, Jesse came out recently to fix the water meter pit. Same experience - friendly, quality work, clear expectations, etc. He left the area looking very nice, and gave us good instructions for getting grass seed down quickly to make it blend with our yard again.
Each time I've called, Steve has been ready and willing to work with me on information, scheduling, and pricing. Jesse has been a pleasure to have in my home. I would HIGHLY recommend Steve and Jesse to anyone needing plumbing work, and we look forward to calling them again in the future when we do some home renovations!

Excellent response time and willingness to work with me! I reached out to Steve one morning when our hot water tank started leaking. He was able to send his son out within a couple of hours to make sure the leak was delt with asap. A short term fix was done to prevent any further damage and they were able to come back the next day to replace the hot water heater. We had a slab leak and called Steve, he came out right away to assess the situation and advised a leak detection to locate the broken pipe. He was responsive throughout and kept us informed and provided reasonable estimates. Steve was honest and very knowledgeable, he took the time to answer all our questions and explain the necessary repairs. We ended up going with a different plumber because they were able to start earlier but we wouldn't hesitate to call Steve again for any plumbing issues.
We have just moved to Fishers and we needed a plumber to set up our water softener and our backup sump pump. We called around, but decided to go with Steve. He was very professional and accommodating. The guy he sent out to do the job was not very friendly in the beginning. He was not happy that he had to hook up our water softener. After he was done he walked me down to show me how to use the water softener and back up sump pump. He did a great job at going over the back up sump pump. However he had told me that the water softener needed to regenerate and for some reason it was not working and he did not know why. I then had to ask him do I need to reach back out to you if it doesn't regenerate as he said I guess. After him leaving i sat down to read the information booklet that came with the water softener and realized it needed 5gallons of water to start and then had to call the 1-800 number on the booklet. Had an error code on my 5 1/2 year old hot water heater so it wouldn't kick on. The son came by and looked at it (for 2 mins) and said I needed a new hot water heater after consulting with his father. Quoted me $1,900 for a new unit with installation.
I called the Mfg (AO Smith) myself and found it was still under warranty. Tech Support told me the code was a dirty flame sensor and sent me instructions on how to fix it. Took all of 10 mins, cost me $0, and it's working perfectly fine.
Do your homework, call the manufacturer, and get multiple estimates if you need work.

Our toilet clogged up. Called Steve Morin. He told me what tool to purchase and I was able to fix the clog by myself. Morin plumbing has done a number of plumbing tasks for us. Always very helpful. Highly recommend.

Excellent service with good pricing and very friendly staff. Happened to call them when searching for quotes. They had the lowest price and I felt the most comfortable with Steve explaining exactly what they expected to do to replace my water heater. Only one issue: The price difference between paying by check/cash or using card. Since I had no checks available and hadn't been notified to collect some cash, I had to pay the 5% fee for using a credit card. Aside from that, I had a great experience and feel more than comfortable having Jesse in my home to do repairs again. After I go to the ATM, of course.
We attempted to install a new dishwasher on 30 year old plumbing and the hot water valve started leaking. I called Steve at 8:30am, and he had me send pictures of the issue and immediately confirmed what needed done and gave an estimate. As promised, Jesse had arrived by 12:30pm and within an hour had replaced the valve, educated us on the water systems within our new house, and showed us what might need fixed down the road. The price was fair, and our entire experience was great from start to finish.
Very happy that I found them on Yelp. The response time was fast and the scheduling was super easy. Jesse- Steve's son took care of my water softener install. He was professional, polite, and does a very thorough job. I would use them again with any plumbing work in a heart beat. Their pricing comparing to what Amazon was quoting me was quite competitive. Overall a very good experience.
Super impressed with the service and price that I received from this company. I'm new to the area so I am having to rely on reviews to get work done on our new home. Found out we needed our sump pump replaced so I called around and this company had the best price and was able to fit me into their schedule right away. We had two leaking toilets. I emailed on Monday and got an immediate response. They scheduled for Wednesday, showed up early (!!), were polite, thorough, fairly-priced, and efficient. We will definitely call them again for any plumbing needs.
We've used Steve's services for a sump pump w/backup, frig water line, bathroom pipe repairs, and more over the last 3 years. They have done an excellent job every time and have been very flexible and quick on timing. Every single installation has been trouble free from day one. I strongly recommend them for all your plumbing needs. It's good to know you have a guy who can get it done right!
I was given a same day appointment for a gas leak. Jesse was very professional and knowledgable. He gave a clear explanation of the problem and how he would fix it. He was finished in a very short time and the job was done well. I will call Steve Morin again if I need a plumber and I'll ask for Jesse.
This is the second time we have called upon Steve Morin Plumbing and have continued to be pleased. They are very responsive on the phone and are very good with communication and keeping you informed. Jesse and assistant arrived on schedule and went right to work to remove the old water heater and install the new one. They were very efficient and careful in their work. While here, they were also able to replace a shut off valve that was not working. I would definitely hire again and highly recommend!
