I called this company after having assurance plumbing out and they didn't know what they were doing. Ryan and Gage responded quickly and reassured me that they would come out and give a price and get the work done immediately to get hot water back in my house. They came gave a good price l, when and picked up the tankless hot water heater and installed the next day. They were not pushy on what to do and made recommendations to get a water softener but again not pushy. They will be coming out to install my water softener here in the next week.

My bathtub stopper has been not fully keeping water in the bathtub for quite some time. Mac's plumbing responded within 12 hours and had the issue fixed within 48 hours. Incredibly responsive and very fair with pricing.

Called Blake after I noticed my slide room got wet during a rainstorm. Was in a panic because we are full time, and my husband was out of town working. Blake got Brittany out right away the same day. She was very courteous and pleasant. Blake followed up to make sure I was happy with the repairs. Very honest people, highly recommend.

This was the most positive and enjoyable plumbing experience I have ever had. 317 Plumbing cared about my home's esthetics as much as I did (maybe more).
Excellent customer service, very competitive price and extremely responsive.
Call this company! Don't delay if you have a plumbing need.

King's employees were professional and addressed my concerns and questions. I've used them before for a bathroom issue and water heater installation. These guys are fair and know what they are doing. Quite satisfied with the work they have done for me.

Called for Mark Plecker, at the advice of a friend, at 9:30 am on Monday morning to address an emergency (self induced) bathroom shower leak (Folks, be careful trying to change your leaking shower cartridges if you have calcium build up - you may just damage your copper pipes, as we did). Monday AM our water had been off for 12 hours, and I was desperate. I had called a 24/7 plumbing company late Sunday night, which gave me an estimate of $1700! Mr. Plecker rearranged his schedule Monday and was at our home promptly for our 1pm appt. He had estimated between 1.5 to 3 hours of labor and was done, woohoo!, in 1.5 hours (which included his drive time). At the end of the job he took time to discuss next steps and gave great advice on other plumbing concerns we have. I could not recommend him more, especially give the unscrupulous competition he has and his amazingly fair price, which was about 90% less than $1700. I guess when you are honest, your name is over the door, and you do a GREAT job, you don't have to advertise everywhere like the other plumbing companies... Thanks Mark!

Probably one of the most disappointing contractor services I have ever experienced. In theory, this idea is actually quite novel. Unfortunately Indiana residential has not mastered the process, the execution, or the customer service. So, this is how it works. Most of the time Indy residential is contracted out by realtors who have work that needs to be done prior to closing on a home for their buyers. Indy residential comes out, gives them a quote and completes the work before closing. They also do contract work based on your needs if you call them and they will come out and give you a quote for the work. I've had a chance to experience both. First,my realtor told me how great the service was, so we contracted them to do some work before the closing on my new home. About 80% of the work was done correctly, the other 20% was either left undone, even though I paid for it, or done incorrectly. Fast forward to this year, and only a few months later, that the caulk and seal on my shingles that they were supposed to take care of are now falling apart again. I called Chris at Indy residential to come out and take a look, and they basically said that they could see on the work order that caulk was used, but have no record of what was actually done so basically I have no proof that it wasn't done correctly, and that they can't warrantee the work after the winter time. So, now I am out not only my money (they did refund a small portion-but not enough to cover the inadequate repair) and lucky me, I have to pay to have it redone The right way. Next, we had some issues with a broken pipe. We have them come out a couple of times to give us an estimate. They came out and then sent us a quote that didn't encompass the work I needed and was totally different than when I ask for, so I asked him to come back out again. This finally happened to weeks later, and then I never ended up getting another estimate. Apparently my job wasn't big enough, or they are too busy. In this day and age, this process should not be so hard, workmanship should be right, and customer service should be a priority. I found none of these things through with Indiana residential. Unfortunately I will not be using their services, and if your realtor asks you to use the service, I would think hard and long before you do. Getting the work completed quickly is not always the best thing. Unfortunately I learned that the hard way.

Called Sam for a garbage disposal replacement. Cost was reasonable. On time, professional and outstanding job. Will definitely call again when the need arises.

If there was a way to give less than one star this would definitely be given. We had a brand new heater and A/C installed last month (spent a small fortune as well). A few hours after the install we noticed water in our garage and then in our basement. The installer had moved our drain line for our water softener and when it ran it's drain cycle like it does daily it flooded our garage and FINISHED basement. We are now almost 30 days from install and our basement still has carpet ripped up, trim off the walls and an entire area that is unable to be used. We have called customer service NUMEROUS times and have NEVER RECEIVED A CALL BACK. Even after asking to speak to an owner. Oh, and the installer also turned off the water supply to our water heater (which there was no reason why it should have been turned off) so we also had no hot water for 2-3 days either, before another tech finally came out and figured that out. Their customer service department is a joke and we have never been contacted about our issues or offered any sort of compensation for our troubles. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!

We received a letter from this company telling us they would do a tune-up on our furnace for $54.00. The guy came, took a cursory look at the furnace; told us it was unsafe; shut it off and refused to turn it back on; and gave us a quote for a new furnace (to the tune of $5,263). And, he still charged us $54 for the tune-up, which he didn't do. We subsequently called Coovert Heating and Air Conditioning. Their repairman checked our furnace, said it needed to be replaced, but could be run without worry until a new one could be installed. He quoted us a price of $2,828. Obviously we went with Coovert. We got the feeling that all Summers was doing was trying to scare us and strong arm us into purchasing from them. We got a new furnace within 2 days for about half the price. It was the exact same model and make that Summers quoted.

We agreed with Thomas Wright and Comfort Heating to replace both our upstairs and downstairs units in our historic home.
Cliff notes:
1. Poor workmanship/attention to detail caused a clogged drain (previously not an issue)
2. Said clog caused waterfall down inside of our walls
3. Water caused more than $10,000 worth of damage
4. Misleading, at best, about turning over damage claim to insurance - Only turned it over to insurance (2 wks later) after I got estimates
5. After insurance settled, got invoice for full amount
6. Threatened legal action - forcing us to pay for their incompetence
Details:
Comfort's caused a clog in our drain line (which had never been an issue) and caused more than $10,000 worth of damage.
After a visit to the attic and saying we had an existing small leak, the tech actually saw the damage inside of our master bathroom. That led to a 35-minute phone call (outside and out of ear-shot) to his supervisor.
We agreed for them to come fix the issue. The fix was to change the angle of the unit so that the condensation hit the drain pain. The pan was never an issue.
The next day, another waterfall into an adjacent hallway. The fix was a shim of wood and didn't do anything but cause more damage. We installed new drain lines and pan because the clog (which was the actual issue they caused) wasn't likely to be found in the existing line - roughly a week later.
So it took nearly 10 days to actually get the installation correct, with more than $10,000 in damage - which, unbeknownst at the time HAD NOT been turned over to insurance. Thomas told me after the fix that they'd turn it over - that was not true. What happened was that Thomas called Service Master Crossroads Restoration as opposed to starting an insurance claim.
I didn't trust them, so I called a reputable restoration company to provide an independent estimate.
Both restoration companies came the same day. Service Master wanted to start right away (wasn't going to allow that w/o the insurance process) without providing an estimate (still don't have it) - which they couldn't because the tech had no equipment...Thomas told SM we had a small leak (per SM owner). Thomas had photos of the damage.
ONLY AFTER I sent Thomas the estimate from the independent restoration company did he contact his insurance - the liability adjuster told me when he was contacted.
As soon as the insurance check was issued, Thomas sent an invoice for the full amount. I immediately called and expressed that he was expecting us to take on a disproportionate liability - we'd pay for the equipment and the lower level installation, but that we needed to come to a different number for the upper level.
Thomas said he had to chew on it and would call me early the following week, citing the fact he needed to pay his guys - the same guys whose poor workmanship isolated my family to half of our home, damaged our walls, trim, carpet and ceilings - for nearly six weeks at that point.
He did not call or email and only after I reached out did he communicate with me via email.
He replied that he would settle for an amount that was ~ 10 percent less than the full invoice - which covered all of the labor and equipment and took no personal responsibility. I countered with an amount that covered equipment and some labor - which he flatly refused. This was clearly not a two-way discussion.
He followed up with an email saying he was under no obligation to offer me anything, so pay now or get ready for legal action.
These are other examples of unprofessional and unorganized behavior:
1. Didn't turn main gas line back on
2. Left cellar door open with light on after the job was finished
3. Sloppy foam insulation on exterior (it's a big clump)
4. Left gaps bt air handler and box without tape in the attic (at least 2 large gaps)
5. Left cut wire pieces on bedroom floor (17-month-old in house)
6. Left electrical panel door open
7. Left dirt and dirty hand prints on walls (interior & exterior, just had our house repainted a month prior)
8. Workers did not use shoe covers/those who did wore them both inside and out, tracking mud, dirt, etc. around our on our hardwood floors
9. Continuously slammed doors (custom, wooden doors) - and cracked the window doing so
10. Smoked on our front porch
11. Didn't connect duct to 2nd bedroom closet (and lied when asked)
12. Did not clean up

Benjamin Franklin worked on my family's hot water heater on Friday July 3. That day we had smelled gas in the laundry room (where the hot water heater is located) but assumed it was because of the work done just hours before. We had people over Friday night and we kept most windows and doors open and we didn't seem to have a problem. Flash forward to the next day, the 4th, my family and I were gone most of the day for festivities while we left our dog home. When we got home, a gas odor had taken over the whole house and my dog was acting lethargic and even fell off the back of our couch. At that point we decided to hook up a portable carbon monoxide detector and about 10 minutes later, it was reading carbon monoxide levels of over 200. When we called Benjamin Franklin they expressed that they couldn't do anything until TUESDAY. That's 4 days. We had to have the gas company shut off all of our gas and we had to stay at hotel for the night, with the chance of having to do it again tonight. I am appalled by the lack of concern Benjamin Franklin has for the health of my family and I would suggest not doing business with them. We had no gas odor and no problems (except the hot water heater being out) before Benjamin Franklin got involved. And when they risked the health of my family and I, the best they could do was wait 4 days. 0/5 stars for almost killing my dog and risking mine and my family's health.

Be very careful with quotes and clarity on cost!!!! Invoice was double the quote!!! We called Jim Russell plumbing to look at a water heater that was not working and a couple other items we had questions on. They informed us they did not have time available to look at all items but would come out for the water heater and they quoted us a price for the visit and stated additional parts etc would be quoted before any further work was completed. Turns out the water heater just needed the igniter cleaned which the plumber did.
The plumber then offered to look at the other items we had. I asked about the price for this and he assured me I'm here for an hour there is no additional charge for me to look at the other items. I will let you know cost on any parts. Well, literally other than turning the allen wrench under our disposal he serviced no other items in our house. He did look at them and he told me how he recommended I could fix them myself. He left within the hour. I was very happy at that time...then the bill came...in was over DOUBLE what was quoted!!!
Upon calling their office I was told there must have been a misunderstanding. They refused to adjust the bill. We will not be using them again!!
