Absolute Comfort was recommended to my husband and I by a co-worker. In May 2017 we awoke to our AC no longer blowing out cold air. We called Absolute Comfort and within a day Jaramy inspected our HVAC system and we knew what was wrong and three different ways to fix/replace it at various price points. Ultimately, because our AC was 20+years old we decided to replace it and with their help were able to determine what system would be the best value for our home, upfront pricepoint, and overall lifecycle costs. They also gave us options we were curious about with pricing for upgrading our thermostat and replacing our equally old heater. They had a great financing program but offered a cash discount, so we ended up doing the later to replace our AC. Once we determined which model we wanted it was installed efficiently within a day; they greatly respected our property and everything was clean and orderly when they left. Several months later our new system is running perfectly and everything their team came in contact with is still running as smoothly as when they left several months ago. They provided excellent customer service and answered all questions we had pleasantly and knowledgeably. We plan to work with them in the future on any concerns we have with our home.

Ok its rare to run into a business as customer centric as Pristine. My plumbing sewage line connection outside my house had broke and I am selling the property so I needed to get a repair estimate. I contacted at least 7 or so businesses that do this work and Pristine was first to respond quickly which would be a plus if I had been still living at the house as a house without a sewage conneciton would be a real emergency. Others didnt respond or were literally a week later. Provided a thourough estimate and evaluation of the line and potential solution that was in line with the only other similar quote I received. I would have and probably should have used them for the repair and ran into a huge potential issue with the company I selected. I called Pristine back to see if they could help and got an immediate response ironically going late into the night and running out of time my vendor is going to fix my issue, but based on my interactions and the great service I would definitely recommend Pristine and will definitely be calling them for any future needs I have.

I called Friday about a leak in a bathroom sink. He told me they were very busy, but could get to me on Monday. He called Monday and asked if he could come out and I agreed. Within a few moments they were at my house. Both gentlemen wore face coverings, which I appreciated. They checked on the sink but did not find a leak. However, they did find the sink was not up to code, lacking a shut off valve. They put one under both bathroom sinks. They cleaned up after themselves, were very polite and very professional. They are in the neighborhood, so I will use them again!

A father daughter team completed work on my house. Replaced the main valve at the street, my main shut off valve inside the house and a hose bip. They also prepped me for future soft water installation. Both were patient. They spent almost an entire day at the house. Total cost was around 2k. They used quality parts and were honest about what was going on. I know dropping that kind of money on plumbing sucks but I felt like they earned it.

We had them out to replace our sump pump line. They told us we could run it to the front of the house, or save $800 and run it to the back so it would be away from the tree that caused the original damage. I asked if the HOA would be okay with this and Service Plus said they do it all the time and it would be fine. We now have pooling water in our backyard and our neighbor's backyard. The City of Westfield came out and said the job is not up to code. Service Plus refuses to correct the issue and would not listen to the representative from the city who was trying to explain how to avoid doing it wrong in the future.

We had Just Drains out 9/17/21 for a clogged drain backing up in toilet and bathtub. Gentleman couldn't fixtures problem so they said they sent the supervisor out and it was fine. Called back 10/6/21 to let them know that it wasn't working again and the property is a rental and is vacant and has been vacant since they were out in 9/17/21, and they said they would call me this morning 10/7/21 and they didn't and I called the office and the lady in there was so rude and stand offish and kept hanging up on me because I couldn't tell her what they did because I was driving and didn't have the invoice in front of me however I gave her the date, name and address and asked if she could look it up and she told me I was rude?!!!! She was the rudest person in customer service I have ever dealt with in my 55 years. She has no business dealing with customers period. I am requesting a full refund and its a shame we have several rental properties have used them over the years, and I will NEVER use them again. They don't want to honor the 30 day Guarantee as it states on their website or don't know how to fix it, and thats fine, them just return our money and I am calling another company.

I had a drain backing up in the basement on a day when a snow storm and the city shut down. I called someone I'd used before but he couldn't get anyone here for several days. He recommended Curt & Jerry. They were here in about 2 hours and quickly figured out that the problem was the kitchen sink even though the sink was running normally. The charge was reasonable. I couldn't be happier.

Update: July 16, 2021: I expect that this will be the final update. After communications from Office Manager Taylor and Installation Manager Bary and the Amana Customer Service Dept., I have received the information needed to understand my rights and responsibilities pertaining to the condenser, furnace, and coils we purchased from Summers. Mr. Bary responds quickly. Ms. Taylor is candid in her communications and was understanding of my need for information about this major investment. It was a long process, but it has concluded well.
Update: July 7, 2021 - After a rough start to our discussions, the interaction and experience with Summers improved. Installation Manager Bary and Office Manager Taylor have been instrumental in addressing questions, agreeing to a resolution of the issues that was financially fair, and providing documentation on the warranties, purchase, and service agreement that the Summers salesperson did not provide. I still have requests pending for explanation of the guarantees that are listed on the sales agreement and for the terms of the extended service agreement, but hope to receive those this soon. Understanding of respective rights and responsibilities of customer and service provider are essential for satisfactory future interactions and to ensure that my family does not have any additional surprises.
Update: June 25, 2021 - I am working with Summers to resolve the issues. After a very rough start of the discussions, I am hoping that we will get the issues resolved and achieve a fair and complete resolution that will leave my family financially whole (after the issue described above and another regarding the SEER rating of the unit that was installed vs. what was described during the sales process) and still be fair to the company. This has been going on for a week, but I will update this review and rating once I do (or do not) get the final requested document.
Unfortunately, I must revise my previous review of Summers to a 1-star. I cannot currently recommend this company. A week ago, our AC went out due to the coils freezing. Summers responded quickly and sent a technician who said that the repair of the 10-year old unit was likely to leave us with a damaged unit as freezing of coils does damage. A sales person arrived and we agreed to purchase a new AC+furnace. A week later, the new system has frozen. A different Summers technician said that freezing of coils does not damage the unit - a direct contradiction of what we had been told a week prior. The new system had a bad part, and failure of that part he had never seen this before. This suggests that the system may be a lemon and we may be in for a bad experience. This is in addition to an issue of a different system being installed than expected. I have written to Summers and am waiting to hear back from the management as the reliability and credibility of the company are in severe question.

We have been a customer for a long time. No more.
We had some outside drainage work that needed to be done sometime in the next couple of months. We specifically said it could wait until the weather was warmer. We were told they could get to it within a week since they were slow. It rained that weekend so we were asked to delay it for a day or so -sure no big deal. But then another call saying another crew was found and they would be out as scheduled.
Unknown to us, it was called in as an emergency to the line-marking folks (pretty sure you get fined for calling in an emergency that isn't but I digress) and then our job was given to folks that don't actually work for Mr Plumber! And they were told it was an emergency so they stayed until 9:30 p.m. - long after they could see what they were doing, long after they took down some branches from a tree, long after they cut our internet line, long after their machinery broke down in our neighbors yard. The next morning we discovered tools left on our destroyed landscaping, an unhappy neighbor (rightfully so), and a mechanic fixing a ditch digger to get it loaded out.
After sending photos and calling, we saw two people look at our yard - neither knocked on the door - and only catching one in their truck did they agree that maybe they wanted their sub contractors tools back.
And then the requests for payment came. Three email requests, two phone calls, and a mail request noting that payment was due. I responded every time asking when the landscaping work was to be done. Finally after hiring my neighbors landscaper to fix the mess I was told that someone would be out. I asked them to cancel their crew and paid their bill. It is best if we just sever the relationship.
My advice, look for a local plumber you can trust - not a firm that doesn't tell you they really won't be doing the work and won't come to the door to try to fix the mess their hired subcontractors make.

I had Heffner Plumbing come out to install two no charge warranty parts on my water heater. They were at my house for 1 1/2 hours and I was charged $425 dollars. I was charged $170 dollars for him to fill out a form for the warranty parts. I think this was excessive.

Do not call this plumber! I was forced to call him through my warranty service, but now realize that I would prefer not to even have the warranty plan if they ask me to use companies like Ameri-Plumb.
The owner of this company is Jon and he should strongly consider a career change immediately.
