Had an electrical issue on one of the properties I manage in Palo Alto.  Had previously used an electrician that was extremely expensive and found out they did poor work.  The tenant didn't care for them either. Then I found Shamrockin Electric.  What a life saver, and I truly mean that.  David was able to come out quickly and assess the issue and find out we had an electrical hazard that could have turned into a fire.  He repaired and replaced the necessary items and left the house and area he worked in clean.  My tenant appreciated him and was happy to have such a professional, kind and meticulous.  David sent me a photo of what he found and then what it looked like after.  Night and Day!  I highly recommend David and Shamrockin for your electrical needs.

I had a list of little jobs and called McGuire Electric.  He was in the middle of his busy season but was still able to come out to see what was needed for the various jobs.  He then returned when everything had been ordered and came in.  Extremely efficient, professional, reasonable and just all around nice.  I have already recommended to three people and plan to keep on doing so.  The only way you could go wrong would be if you did NOT call McGuire Electric!

very poor customer service; I called a week ahead for a service an to have outlets on my kitchen checked. The appointment was made for 9-10am; I came home from work early for this. waited till 11.10 and as nobody had shown up I called ACDC. The lady told me that the technician should have been there and she was going to call him. I told her that I cancel the appointment as nobody notified me in regards of a delay. Very poor customer service; will never use this company.

Came home to a broken heater during the recent cold spell.  I didn't know if it was our heat pump, furnace or thermostat.  I started to look around and saw a blown fuse in the furnace but it kept blowing when I replaced it.

Called Pacific Coast and their only availability was after 4 pm, which triggers an emergency service charge.  I couldn't find anyone else and I needed it done before the family got back from vacation.  I scheduled it and within minutes they called back with an earlier appointment with no emergency service charge!  I'll take it!!

Pablo came out and very methodically tracked down the problem.  It took a little while, through no fault of his, and he got it working perfectly!  He was very professional and polite, kept his mask on the whole time and did a fantastic job!!

We called Victor to replace all of our outlets and switches in the house and garage.   We also wanted him to install a ceiling fan in our bedroom, and install an outlet in the front porch area for Christmas lights and a future water feature (I will install one someday!!!)  

I am not an electrician, and I am not well versed in building code, so when we did the initial walk through so he could give us an estimate, he made several welcomed suggestions of possible upgrade ideas.  He also let us know that some upgrades  would be required in order to be compliant with current electrical standards (ie., GFCI outlets).  We decided to include all of the upgrades he suggested (changing several fluorescent lights to LED's including the canned lights and the long tubes recessed within the trim of our skylight) along with our other projects.  He emailed me with an estimate a few hours later.  The estimate was reasonable considering all of the work they would be doing so we scheduled Victor and his crew for the job.  They showed up on time and went straight to work.  They knocked out all of our projects the same day, and left each of their work spaces neat and tidy.  

Victor and his employees aim to please.  In addition to the many years of experience they all have, they are polite, trustworthy and hard workers.  There is a reason they have so many 5 star reviews!!!  

We have more projects and will definitely be using VC Electric when the time comes.

I was very disappointed with my experience with Five or Free. I am a well versed DIY handy person and am no fool, but they took me for one.  They also terrified my tenants by telling them, when I was not present, that if I did not rewire the entire unit, they would be living in the equivalent of the Ghost Ship in Oakland. They observed correctly that outlets in different rooms were on the same circuit and there was no logic to the organization. It was so random, they said that my tenants were at risk of a fire. The only solution was to rewire the entire house! My tenants believed every word and put tremendous pressure on me to do this work. When I did not, they moved out. Of course, I had solicited other opinions from highly rated and experienced electricians, and no one agreed with Five or Free. There was no need to rewire the house.

What had started out as a straightforward request for a quote to upgrade my panels got ballooned out of all proportion. Five or Free gave me a verbal quote for around $20k and pressured me to accept it to protect my property from serious damage and potential liability issues.

I decided to write about my experience after I discovered others who had had similar experiences with Five or Free.

We needed someone immediately and owner Juan Marin was there to help!  We called several companies but couldn't get anyone to come asap. High Power Electric took care of us immediately!  When he left we received a detailed explanation what was going on. We will call High Power Electric for all of our electrical needs because Juan was there when we needed him.  Thank you Juan for answering our call!  He's definitely the best at what he does.

S&B Electric is the most honest, reliable, helpful  company with experts that can resolve an issue that many electricians ran from in the past. Steward explained my problem and fixed it in the most COVID free manner. I would highly recommend this company to everyone!!!

Everyone I worked with was terrific ... helpful, informative, efficient. My main bathroom needed updating, so my team (Carlos and Roberto) had it torn out, replaced and cleaned up in less than a week! They were easy to work with, cooperative and very respectful of my work/live space. Larry and the team at the headquarters office responded quickly to any questions that came up. Mark helped us install the EV charging outlet. I had the most amazing experience with Mark. Super quick to respond on Yelp, straightforward quote, fair pricing, and incredibly efficient and prepared. The builder told me it was prewired so I told Mark this information. I thought all I need was the outlet/plug. But turns out the builder didn't wire it! Thankfully Mark had the wires and the breaker ready just in case. He is prepared and efficient and friendly. I would definitely hire Mark for all my other electric needs and would recommend him to everyone

Good experience . Quick responses to my initial emails asking questions about ev charger installation .Streamlined estimate process . Erin the electrician/installer was great.

They charged $95 for an outrageous estimate.($5500 compared to $1900) No wonder they charge an estimate fee..

Highly recommend this company. He came at a short notice was very professional and explaining everything he did into detail. The price was very reasonable.
