First, I just want to say, that I agree with all the wonderful comments about Bart and his two son's commitment to quality and customer service.

Secondly, Bart did large rewire job to replace knob & tube wiring and update a lot of outlets, and add a few more to get up to code, plus add recessed lighting for our home. This also included the installation of a subpanel and repair of existing doorbell. The job was done beautifully, I have zero complaints and only compliments to Bart and his two son's work.

We also work from home and Bart was great at keeping necessary power on at the end of each day. Each day he'd walk us through what was done, and what the plan was for the next day. This made it easy for us to move around the house and plan where we needed live/work and where to keep the animals (2 dogs, 2 cats, 2 Geckos). The job was done in about 5 days, finishing up early on Friday. We had a Monday morning inspection that passed with flying colors.

For additional reference, I had 5 electrical contractors walk my job, and out of all them Bart was the most thorough in his job walk, asking a lot of questions and looking at all the detail from top to bottom. He also provided the most comprehensive proposal.

Thanks Bart, Anthony and Joseph for all the hard work! We miss having you around, but plan on asking you out for some more work in the future!

I hired 110/220V Electric to rewire my home and had a great experience! Bart answered all of my questions during the initial estimate, and came back a second time after I wanted a few changes. He was able to get the entire job done within a week!

The pricing is very transparent as well, with each light switch, outlet, room lighting, etc. billed as a separate item.

Bart solved a wiring mystery left behind by the DIY-enthusiast homeowners that preceded us so rapidly that I almost couldn't believe it.

I am so happy that I've found someone so knowledgeable, experienced, and capable that I can trust with my future electrical service needs (read: all those other things I've been putting off for too long).

Bart is the man! Dare I say it... BARTMAN! I am bummed it took me 7 weeks of waiting for my other neighborhood electrician before I called 110/220V, so glad I did. Appointment the same day I texted through Yelp (3/9), he gave me a quote (itemized) that afternoon, installed it 8am the next day (3/10)! Talk about service! His team is made up of both his sons, which means this company is going to be around for a LONG time! They installed 6 recessed lights, 3 dimmers, 1 chandelier, 2 new outlets in record time. At first the quote took me by surprise (I'm cheap), but after it was all done WAY WORTH IT!    Now how do I tell my other electrician.... if he ever tries to schedule a start date!

I recently had Bart do some electrical work for me and was so impressed with the results and service.  I would give him 10 stars, if I had the choice.
He immediately responded when I asked for an estimate and quoted me a fair price.  Following that Bart and his two sons were very prompt in coming to do the work.  He answered all my questions and was very professional.
I highly recommend him for anyone who needs electric work done.
Thanks Bart and I definitely will use your services again.

I highly recommend hiring Bart and his sons for any electrical work you need. They are a fantastic team that truly knows their craft. From the moment I contacted Bart, he was responsive and prompt, arriving within a couple of days to get started. It was a relief to work with a team that didn't put me on the back burner or make me wait weeks for an appointment.

On the day of the job, Bart and his sons arrived promptly in the morning and worked tirelessly to upgrade my ceiling lights, install new bathroom fans, and dimmers. Their teamwork was exceptional, and they went above and beyond to ensure that everything was done to my satisfaction. Bart was also great at keeping me informed about the cost of each upgrade and explaining what each one entailed.

Thanks to their hard work, my house has been transformed. I'm thrilled with the results, and I can't thank Bart and his sons enough for their professionalism and attention to detail. If you're looking for a reliable, skilled team for your electrical needs, I highly recommend hiring Bart and his sons. You won't be disappointed

I recently had the pleasure of working with an 110/220V electrical company based in San Bruno, CA to install a generator transfer switch in my home. I cannot speak highly enough of the experience I had with this company and their team of skilled professionals.

From the initial consultation to the final installation, the entire process was seamless and stress-free. The team took the time to listen to my needs and concerns, and provided me with clear and transparent pricing and scheduling information.

When it came time for the installation, the team arrived on time and worked diligently to ensure that the transfer switch was installed properly and safely. They even took the time to walk me through how to use the switch and answered any questions I had.

I was thoroughly impressed with the quality of their workmanship and attention to detail. Not only did they complete the job to my satisfaction, but they also left my home cleaner than they found it!

Overall, I highly recommend this 110/220v electrical company to anyone in need of electrical services in the Bay area. Their professionalism, expertise, and commitment to customer satisfaction truly set them apart from other companies in the industry. Thank you for a job well done!

While I didn't have the chance to hire Bart, I am super grateful for his honesty. I sent my problem to 3 electricians for quote, and Bart suggested I contact PG&E direct for my problem first. This saved me from paying for someone to come troubleshoot what was PG&E's responsibility. The competition wanted to charge me a minimum one hour fee for just coming out. Bart went out of his way to save me some $. Thanks, Bart!

I had 110/220V come to my house to change our old Federal Box and upgraded the power coming in from power pole. They gave us a fair and honest estimate, did the work in one day set up and passed inspection another day. All in all power was down just 7 hours which for me was amazing because I have a 3,000 gallon Koi pond I didn't want down, they offered auxiliary power for the pond ,but he estimated work.could be done in 8 hours with power back up and running and that was good enough not effect any pond issues. Their work was so good on day of inspection I had them do other exterior issues I had ,they did the work and gave me a very fair price. If I have any electrical projects they will be the first ones I will go to. Highly Recommended!

100/220V Electric installed a new service panel, sub panel and rewired my 1950s San Bruno house. The experience was nothing short of exceptional and I can't recommend them enough. Bart and his sons, Joseph and Anthony, are all great!

We needed 3 rooms in our Pacifica home to be grounded, new exterior outlet, outlets placed in 3 closets (to hide Wi-Fi routers) and a few other miscellaneous electrical problems. We had no knowledge of a reputable electrician so after extensive researching, my son saw all the raving reviews for 110/220V Electric.  We called to get a quote and Bart was extremely rapid in responding and getting us a written estimate. After shopping around for a few more estimates, we decided to go with 110/220.  Bart and his 2 Sons were promptly at our house at 8:00am both days. They worked as quietly as possible and cleaned up after themselves.  What made us feel that we had made the right choice is that Bart explained all of our options and explained in layman's terms what he and his boys had done.  Be safe and have peace of mind, for any electrical issues give 110/220V Co. a call.

I cannot speak more highly about the work and partnership that Bart and his team delivered.  My husband and I are first time homeowners and recently had some major electrical work done.

Bart walked through every aspect of the project and explained every line item of work.  While it was a stressful time working through the ins and outs of an old home to make sure we were up to code, Bart had nothing but patience and a mentality of always doing what was best for his clients and our home.

We felt completely supported by Bart and his team.  We truly appreciated the frequent and reliable communication.   We can't recommend them enough and would refer this family business to any of our own friends and family.

Bart and his crew are the best!  I've had a lot of electrical work done over the years and they've been my go-to electrical guys for everything. They are knowledgeable, thorough, and their work is impeccable. Prices are right, too. Bart is great to bounce ideas off, too. I know nothing about electrical work but I know what I want to do with the house, and I've had some good conversations with Bart where he's helped give me options. I can't recommend this team enough!

This review is specific to their after hour responsiveness. We had prior experience working with other electrician before, and the only method of contact is to leave a voicemail or email the office during business hours. This time, we experienced a power outage in the late evening and PG&E outage line was unhelpful but only asked us to call an electrician. We decided to give 110/220V a try to schedule a next day service. Within 10 minutes, we were grateful to have received a text at 9pm that they will try to fit us in the next day. Although eventually PG&E took responsibility, we were extremely grateful that 110/220V responded positively. We would reach out to them for urgent issues because they don't just respond during business hours.

I needed to get 12 new recessed lights in my basement bedroom. I texted Bart and he came the same day for an estimate. His prices  were fair  and unlike some other companies that use slim lights , Bart uses the better quality Halo recessed lights. Once I signed the contract, he was able to fit me in the following day. His  crew came on time, all the lights were installed in 4 hours and they cleaned up after themselves. Great family owned company that I wouldn't hesitate to use again!

TL;DR 110/220V is a family-owned business. Bart and his two sons are extremely reliable, are neat, clean up after themselves, and quick to respond.

Around November 2021, we recently purchased a 1950s Daly City home (around 1000 sqft) that had the original knob and tube electrical wiring. During our preliminary home inspection, it was pointed out that we had to fix a splice in the attic. We called in another electric company around December 2021 to get an estimate, and they basically told us that we had to change out all the wiring in our house. We never got a quote from that company. We knew that we needed to get an estimate and that's how I found Bart. I reached out to him on Yelp and he responded within the hour. The next day he was already at our house, ON TIME, and did a thorough walkthrough. He also agreed that we had to rewire our house, but unlike the other electrician, he explained why everything had to be done. Bart also gave some suggestions on how to future-proof our home by installing a main panel and sub panel that can handle more electricity than we need, in case we ever decide to get an EV, tankless water heater, etc. He had already established that trust in us.

The next day or so, he sent us an estimate. We reviewed it, and though it was pricey, it was something that we knew had to be done. After doing thorough searching and speaking with friends and family, Bart's price was fair. He maintained thorough communication with us about scheduling the work.

We gave him a code to our front door and he and his two sons worked throughout the day (typically 8am-4pm). They were always on time. They wore shoe covers inside of the house as well. Every day they made sure to clean up after themselves and were respectful in moving some of our items out of the way and not making a mess. This aspect was important to me because it showed their quality of work and how they truly care about their customers.

Bart gave us a payment plan and told us his strategy for how he was going to rewire our house -- basically work from the outside in (changed the main panel and sub panel on the first day, then did the bedrooms, bathrooms, and kitchen). At the end of every day, we did a walkthrough to check up on the work and it was excellent. There were minimal holes made in the walls -- really only what was necessary, and nothing bigger than the size of a small hand. They work with a high attention to detail too -- all of the electrical outlets had their flathead screws facing the same direction (not important, but a nice touch to say the least).

At the very end, Bart explained to us what to do if any of the circuits in our house tripped and where everything is. He's done everything he's promised. We had a miscommunication (on our part) about a dryer outlet, but he gave us a really good price to get the work done. Bart is an honest guy, really transparent, and genuine. I hope that if you made it this far reading this review that you will consider working with his company. I still keep in touch with him via text in case I have any questions, and he's very quick to respond. He's a good friend, and I would definitely recommend working with him and his family!

110/220V is a classic family owned business that we should all support. Bart is very transparent and genuine in the way he runs his business. In my experience, he will do anything in his power to fulfill the job he promised. He was able to install our EV outlet in super short notice and did an excellent job. Bart, Anthony and Joseph were efficient, courteous (masks, booties and tarps in the house) and GOOD at their trade. Highly recommend this local family owned business top to bottom.

We upgraded our electric panel to 220v during pandemic. Bart responded quickly, had free estimate next day, finished the project with inspection all together within a week. It was amazing! Bart and his sons had masks on all the time, they put shoes cover when they noticed no shoes inside the house, and they cleaned the work area.
The next year, we had some issues with our solar company, Bart even came to give us suggestions for free. Highly recommended!

Bart, Anthony, and Joseph are excellent. They are very professional, knowledgeable, and easy to work with. They upgraded my underground main panel, installed 2 EV chargers, 2 Ring Flood Cams, and LED backlit address number. It's a total 3 days job due to waiting on PG&E on each phrase. They always came early and had a ready to work attitude. Inspections were passed easily. I would not hesitate to work with Bart for any future electrical work.

Give Bart a call and support local business.

We were having trouble with our electrical feed, the source of which was failure in an electrical panel dating back to 1962, which also presented a safety hazard. Bart and his team came out on a couple of days notice, and quickly and efficiently installed a new panel and related wiring (including permit/inspection coordination). Really nice job!

I can't say enough good things about Bart and his sons. They gave me an estimate came back same day got the job done quick fast. Had some outlets changed. They were professional and made me feel safe. They let me know all  the best option.
They even moved the heavy furniture to get to the outlets. I highly recommend them.

I had Bart and his team install an outlet in a box so I can charge my new Tesla Model 3 with the included charger. He was able to find a box that can lock so I won't have to worry about someone stealing the charger when I am not home. The team was quick (only took one day) and installed professionally for a great price. I would definitely recommend 110/220v Electric for EV owners, especially Tesla Model S, Model X, and Model 3 owners.

Thanks again, Bart!

Thanks Bart & Joseph! Quick to respond to my initial inquiry, kind and quality work. Reasonably priced and honest diagnosis/transparency of work involved. These are people you want to work with, and call back again when you have a new project. Can't thank you enough!

Work we got done: new breaker box installed in ~2 hours.
Woo hoo, let there be light (again, after a broken breaker box, haha)!
~
Important note for clients, after reading some of the critical reviews: Be nice and follow up with details about your address/your issue to help jog memory when communicating. For example, I emailed but didn't get a reply for a couple of days so I called and texted instead, and that opened communication again; just try different avenues and understand electricians all over the Bay Area are busy! My electrician friend put it like this: There's so much work right now in the Bay Area, we can be really picky and turn down jobs or we can try and help as much as we can and it's a good time to be a good electrician. Our issue wasn't emergency services so we could afford to wait while he helped those who really needed it; just let him know and he can prioritize.

Bart and sons are fantastic.  The job was done quickly and well planned.  The job was completed and checked off by the City the same week!!!! They do their own works, no subs contractors!  A huge bonus for us as too many layers of subs-contractor would made the job prolong and words would be loss in translation.  I would definitely recommend Bart to anyone who needs electrical work.

Excellent work!

My situation: Our electric oven had stopped working after a year. I did some testing and found that the oven wasn't getting enough voltage on one of the two phases. I contacted four different electricians through Yelp and Nextdoor, which I received three replies (one refusing the work). Of the two willing replies, 110/220V was the only who actually asked me what the problem was,  and what I had already tried. I was fortunate to be able to schedule them for the next day, and they were on time EXACTLY!
Work followed for about two hours, and was thorough and conscientious (putting booties on, picking up debris, very polite folks).

I'm writing this review because Bart and Joseph gave me great confidence in their work and I would not hesitate to use them again.

I gave them a call and Bart came out that afternoon. Although very thorough, he didn't waste my time or dilly dally but got straight to the point. He even came back after seeing from my breaker box that there was a 2nd box in the house. Very thorough.

He needed to have a crew come back, and they were here the next day. They were incredibly polite and, again, very thorough and fixed my problem which was causing my AC unit to malfunction. I will be calling them again the next time I have an electrical issue.

Relying on Yelp reviews, I used 110/220V Electric to handle the upgrade of my home electrical service to 200 amp.  This was a complicated job in which the old fuse box and mast and an interior circuit panel all had to be removed and then upgraded.  Bart said it would be a 2-day job and it was.  We were only without power during the first day, but not overnight.   This installation passed the electrical inspection this afternoon.   Bart and his sons Joseph and Seth are friendly, professional and competent.

I have a retail space that needed a lot of electrical work! Bart and Joseph installed recessed lighting throughout, pendant lights and also added some new outlets. And installed sconces in the bathroom. They also removed extra wiring on part of the ceiling, which made the ceiling look cleaner. The lights look great and the work was done quickly! Definitely recommend them for any electrical work! Thank you!

Tried to request an appointment through their website but kept getting an error. So I sent them an email. They responded over a day later asking if the following week worked. When I said no, because I need that outlet fixed sooner than that, they haven't responded and it's been over two days.

My wife and I just recently bought an original home in the peninsula, half the house was old knob and tubing and the rest romex. I wanted to make sure my house was safe with the current electrical and also add some recessed lighting to a couple of the rooms, so I called a few electricians for bids. Bart by far was the most thorough in his inspection and emphasized safety and was reasonably priced, thats why we went with him.

The day of work, Bart and Carlos showed up early and was done by the afternoon! The lights looked amazing in the living and family room, especially at night with dimmers. On full blast the place lit up brilliantly.

The thing about Bart was that he saw some funky wiring through out the house, and fixed it without a second thought or increasing his price. On top of that we asked him to do a few extra things, which he had no hesitation to do for a good price.

Overall, a fantastic electrician who does beautiful work with emphasis on safety. Gladly hire for any electrical work.

For starters, let me say that 110/220v is easily the best electrical company available to us in the Bay Area. I hired Bart and his crew (his son) for two jobs in the past handful of years. One of the jobs was for some really basic work (switching the location of some outlets), and the most recent job was for a full re-work of the electrical in the new place my wife and I just purchased in San Bruno. We added recessed lighting throughout the house, which included some intricate cabinetry lighting, switches every single outlet, switched out all switches for decor switches, and put everything on a dimmer. Additionally, I had all old/dead outlets and thermostats removed, as well as all coaxial cables removed. Not only was the price incredibly reasonable and competitive in the current market, but the job was done expeditiously and efficiently. Bart even picked up the permit from the city for the work for me, and came back a couple of times on his own dime to double check the work. Whether you own or rent, having any type of work done can be stressful, and when it's something as important as electrical work, you want to make sure you get the job done correctly. If anyone out there is looking to have electrical work done, I suggest the save some time researching different companies on google, and just give Bart a call! He will get the job done well, and provide a hassle free experience!

I recently purchased an electric vehicle, and needed my garage outlet upgraded to support 220v. I contacted Bart and we coordinated an install date within 24-hours - he was diligent with the job, and made sure I had all the right components. I had Bart (and his sons) install a ClipperCreek charger for my electric car and fix an overloaded breaker.

The charger wasn't an easy install since my electrical panel is on the opposite side of the house from the garage.  I wanted a clean install so I asked Bart to run the wires through the walls and attic. Bingo... He did a perfect job.

The second job was fixing an overloaded breaker.  My wife wasn't happy about having to open up a wall.  Bart made the small hole and patched it perfectly.  My wife hasn't complained so he must have done a good job...

Called Bart to come take a look at our company building and possibly find a solution to an issue I had for a new printing machine that was on the way.  I had called him the first time and we were unsuccessful but after further inspection I called to see if he could come back which he did hat same day only a few hours later.  He found a much cheaper and feasible solution to my problem and came that very next Monday.  He was responsive and professional and recommend his services to anyone!!!

I had a great experience with Bart.  He was honest, quick, and easy to communicate with via text/phone.  I will definitely use him for any future electrical needs.

I originally wanted him to give me a quote about electrifying a room.  While he was over, he also pointed out a fire hazard AKA. the way my main panel connects to the city line.  I had two other electricians look at the room, and one of them also mentioned the same fire hazard.  Looking back at a property inspection of the house, it turns out the inspector also mentioned the same thing.  We decided to go with Bart.

He was originally supposed to start work on Tues for a 2 day job, but he texted on Mon letting me know his previous job did not finish on time.  He was upfront with me so I didn't have a problem with a one day delay.  He promptly showed up on Wed and quickly got everything done (including the city inspection) that he promised he would for day 1.  On day 2, he finished the rest of work we had agreed on.  My wife sent me pictures of what was done.  Some of the outlets and plugs were not where I wanted them, so I called Bart.  He quickly moved everything to where I wanted despite the fact that it required extra work on his part and that it was my fault that he had placed them at the wrong location.

I would highly recommend Bart for any sort of electrical work for your house.

Bart was amazing to work with! He was incredibly responsive and easy to communicate with. He was able to make it out quickly for a quote and started the job that same week. He was very respectful of our home by making significant electrical upgrades with minimal impact to our existing infrastructure. The extent of our electrical work included grounding existing outlets, installing new outlets, recessed lighting, and an external 240V outlet. Whereas other electricians that we got quotes from indicated that certain items would require significant patchwork or too difficult to do, Bart's team excelled. We would not hesitate to hire Bart for any future electrical work.

I had my service panel fail and require replacement.  It was buzzing, there was a burning smell from the panel, and power was intermittent then stopped in half my house.  Bart quickly returned my call asking for assistance, setup a time to review the situation that worked for me (not his convenience), and promptly provided a written estimate.  The scope of work included relocating the service panel from the rear to the side of the house, moving the PG&E service wire on my roof, and extending all existing circuits from the old panel to the new panel.  There were a few miscellaneous nice to have additions I made to the mandatory work, such as adding new front and rear exterior outlets, and adding new interior circuits for all my heavy appliances (washer, dryer, fridge, etc.) to take the load off my aging electrical system since I didn't have the budget to rewire throughout the entire house at this time.

Bart's quote wasn't the lowest, but it wasn't the highest either.  I found it to be fair and reflective of the difficult work he would need to perform.  He graciously acknowledged whatever element of the job I wanted, however unpleasant it would be for him to accomplish, unlike some contractors.  Have you ever had the why would you want to do that? from a contractor, which you know means they don't want to hassle with it and would rather do the parts of the job that are easy money?  Not even close with Bart, despite the quality time he and his crew would be spending in my crawl space doing everything I asked of them.

I would say the clincher for me when selecting Bart for my job was the emphasis he placed on quality and customer service.  His crew cleaned up after themselves to the point I couldn't tell they were here.  Not even a speck of drywall dust on my hardwood floor below where they added a new outlet in my bedroom.  Bart emphasized the details he would address with each step of the job, identified places where other contractors might cut corners, then explained the right way to do it and why it was important.  I can't say enough about the relief I felt as a customer when I received the explanation of what I was paying for, why I was paying for it, and why it was important.  I still can't tell you the difference between an AFCI circuit and a GFCI circuit, but I know Bart tried explaining it to me and why it made sense for some situations and not for others.

Top notch quality of work and personable with an old-school sense of humor that I found refreshing.  I made the right choice selecting Bart's company 110/220v Electrical, and so will you!  Highly recommended!

We had a bad experience with Bart. Called and texted him several times. He said he could come to take a look and will get back to us A COUPLE TIMES but never did it. He is perhaps just too busy with his other works to take new customers.

I saw his truck at my next door neighbor's house one day. I asked her if she liked his work and she highly recommended him period so when it came time to put some outside lights on my house, I gave him a call for an estimate. He came in just slightly over his competitor but his competitor wanted to run conduit on the outside of my house where Bart said he can wire it from the inside and do a much cleaner job. So I hired Bart. I couldn't have made a better choice! He and his crew work together magnificently! Trying to get wires from our inside switches to the Attic was quite a challenge since the previous owner really made a mess of things when they did an addition onto the house. Bart resisted having to put a hole in my wall and through sheer persistence was able to bypass whatever he bypassed and finished the job without having to cut a hole in my wall! Thank you Bart! I'm sure he was here it much longer then he anticipated but when he was finished, you could never tell that he was even here! I really think he left the place cleaner than when he found it.
Suffice it to say that if you want to hire an electrician who is very professional, very detail-oriented, extremely hard-working and very ethical, hire Bart and his crew! I cannot thank him enough.

Bart and his sons upgraded my main electrical service from 30 amps to 125 amps. I couldn't be happier with the results. Bart was prompt with communication and answered all of my questions before I decided to go ahead with the work. He installed a new main panel without disrupting anything else in the house. In his own words I will do work like it's my own house and he was absolutely right. He even fixed a problem with old wiring and installed a new receptacle in bathroom without charging extra. You can be assured that you're in safe hands if you go with Bart for your electrical work.

I am a general contractor and I always have a hard time finding a good and reliable electrician. When I found Bart and his 110/220 crew they were on time, they were there when I needed them, and they also made sure that the job was done right.
I would definitely hire them again in my next jobs to com review helps others learn about great local businesses.

Having worked with other electricians, Bart was definitely the best one. I waited weeks for another electrician to come back to do the work he had promised to do. I finally decided to turn to yelp to look for other options. Bart replied to my inquiry right away (in a matter of minutes) and was at my house the next day to look at the work. His price was reasonable and we were able to get Bart (and Christian) back a week later to complete the job. Communication was great, they were on time, on budget and did a fantastic job. We couldn't be happier. My husband and I have been talking about doing some other electrical work in the future and I definitely will use 110/220v Electric again.

I called on 9/20 for some work on the house and received a call back on 9/21.  I was instructed to send a text to the number requested and he stated that I would get a call back in about 2 weeks.  As one 10/19, four weeks later, I have not received a call back.  I'm going somewhere else.

Bart and his 110/220 team did an awesome job replacing my outside motion sensor lights around my house a couple weeks ago.  Given the recent burglary issues in the neighborhood, I wanted to replace my previous old lights with new more reliable LED lights all around the house very quickly.  They replaced 4 floodlights and installed 6 new ceiling mounted recessed motion activated lights very quickly and professionally - all within a few hours!  Definitely recommend them and will use them again.  Thanks Bart!

Bart and his crew are top notch. Excellent attention to detail and will go the extra mile to make sure a job is done right.

They performed a panel replacement / upgrade on an existing Federal Pacific unit. Removed aluminum wiring I didn't know about, and used high quality components all around (copper only). Even the city inspector remarked at the quality of the components installed, from the tie-in all the way down to the panel and grounding. Bart took time to educate me on good practices and why they do things a certain way. He also helped make sure I would meet the requirements needed to pass city inspection on the first go, including smoke / CO alarms in the house.

His quote / estimate was fair and they went above and beyond to address sub-par electrical work from the previous owner to ensure my household's safety. Their quality of work gives me the confidence to move forward with other home projects and renovations. I will be working with them again when it is time to do a full re-wire of the knob/tube wiring left in the house.

I would not hesitate to recommend Bart and his team to others, as they were thorough, timely, and professional. I'm pleased that Bart is a fellow resident of SSF and look forward to seeing their company vehicles around town!

If you are in need of knowledgable, experienced, reliable electricians, then look no farther than Bart & his team! I wanted to have a light fixture replaced and a couple of light switches looked at. Apparently there were some safety issues I knew nothing about! Bart & his team showed me pictures and explained to me what the problems were. They took care of everything that needed to be done in time for the Thanksgiving holiday. I am so thankful and relieved to have found Bart, Sharon & Christian. They are honest, down to earth professionals who truly care about their customers and the work and service they provide. I have other projects I would like done in the near future and I will definitely be calling Bart & his team back to help. I will be referring 110/220 Electric Co. to all my friends & family. I can't thank you enough Bart & team!!

My husband and I bought a home in SSF that had old knob and tube electrical throughout the house. We knew we wanted to update the electrical before we moved in. We called a few companies and ultimately went with Bart and his team. Bart was very responsive via email and phone with all our questions. We made a few changes with our plans and Bart was able to accommodate all those changes. In the end, we were extremely happy with the work that was done. The work was completed in a timely matter, efficiently, and up to code. The only negative was some of the outlets were cut too big so we had to patch a few of them up. Otherwise everything was great! And we will definitely be contacting Bart and his team for our future electrical needs.

My fiance was the first one to set up an appointment, but we both commute from either SF or Palo Alto so, it was great that Bart was able to meet us at 7pm on such short notice. Although it was late, he seemed really excited and eager to help us out!

He even took in some of my suggestions that I had made (not really understanding everything), but considered it and respected what I need to say.

The scope of the job was as follows:

~21 canned lights with dimmers (living room, dining room, all bedrooms, hallway)
~main panel and sub panel upgrades
~upgrade the dryer outlet to code
~garbage disposal - air pressured
~garage lighting and receptacles throughout

We were so happy to hear that despite the large scope, that he was going to be able to finish in 5 business days!!! The tricky part about our job was that all the interior work needed to be completed before we moved in that weekend. Both Bart and Carlos did a clean and accurate job.

The day I got home and actually turned on the switch to the canned lights, I was blown away on how much good quality lighting can make a difference in your home. He made all sections of the dining and living room seemless in case we want to remodel in the future. I will NEVER underestimate lighting again!

At the very end of the job, I wanted to show our appreciation for the wonderful job and quick, uneventful inspection Bart was able to get us through. So, I ordered a few Little Lucca sandwiches for them and they were thrilled! ;)

I already recommended Bart to all my friends who are looking for a good electrician (new homeowners as well!). I know this husband and wife duo are really proud of their work and I'm glad we trusted our gut instinct to go with them for our first home project. Thanks for all your hard work, Bart & Carlos!

P.S. Even our neighbor complimented how quiet and diligent they were throughout the day making sure the job was done on time! Even better, since I didn't need to deal with a grouchy neighbor either!

P.P.S. I really like how Bart does business. He guarantees all his work during his lifetime! He even offered to give us advice if we needed it. He is definitely on our list of folks to call!

Bob's Handyman Service, who I have been doing business with for over 14 years, referred me to you. I called and you were supposed to set up an appointment with my tenant. I texted his number to you and vice versa. He tried calling, and did not get through. I asked him if you called that day you were supposed to go out and give me a bid on a compete re-wire of his house, he said no. I then called your number and it was disconnected. I tried again, and it was the same.

I have up dated my review to give you the benefit of the doubt as to why this number might have been disconnected, maybe you were out of reach ? But, I still waited, as he did, for you to call back.

I am glad that you responded to this review, I guess Yelp does work, but it should not take a review to value potential clients. My time, and my tenants time are limited. He has to pull over to respond to my texts, and phone calls during his busy day, as well as make time to meet with you and other contractors. I have to fly out of state to be there. I am meeting a team of contractors to rennovate his house. I have a time line that I am trying to meet, and by not calling me back interfers with my plans by causing unnecessary delays.

I rarely spend the quality time to add a review on Yelp, unless I receive EXCEPTIONAL service that I feel that will benefit others seeking great services and/or goods experience.

Last week, I had the sincere privilege of receiving OUTSTANDING service and GREAT quality lighting products from 110/220v Electric Company.  The scope of my project was to replace 18 canned lights with high efficient LED lights and some dimmer switches.

I have a very busy schedule at work and when I take time off from work (to work from home), I expect the service provider to be on time.  It was wonderful that both times, during the day of the estimate and the following day for service, owner Bart Speccia was ON TIME!

During the estimate, Bart spent the quality time to carefully listen to my needs and promptly provided me with lighting options (brightness, warmth of the lights...not bright harsh lights, energy efficiency, etc) and estimates.

On the day of the service, owner Bart Speccia and his worker Christian both came ON TIME!  Bart and Christian was very cordial and they CLEANED UP after their work.  They changed the lights and dimmer switches in only a couple of hours (as Bart promised!).

I am highly satisfied with the quality products and the EXCEPTIONAL service I received from 110/220v Electric Company and would not hesitate to recommend Bart and his company to my family and friends.

We've been using Bart and his crew for 15 years for ALL of our electrical needs. Initially, he wired my 2 story addition, including all design and finish work. Since then he added outlets to code in existing rooms (replacing old knob & tube), added exterior lighting, put in all new lighting in my garage, and recently installed a new 200 amp exterior service box damaged by a non-electrical fire.  Any time we need anything electrical, Bart's our guy. We don't need to get any other quotes because we know he'll do an excellent job for a fair price. On top of all this, he gives a tremendous amount back to the community.

I cannot recommend Bart highly enough; we are repeat customers and will definitely use him again for any needs that arise.

He performs his work with the highest standards of professionalism.  He keeps his commitments and arrives on-time. He leaves the work area clean and neat. He goes the extra mile to protect his client's home and property.  As examples, he wrapped his own sweater around the top of an extension ladder to protect a wall and put booties over his shoes to protect the floors.

But what sets Bart apart is his smarts and his aesthetic.  He really knows what he is doing, will not oversell product, and will provide lighting options to enhance the warmth of a room.  We called him most recently because our 20-year old track lighting fixtures were broken.  Bart educated us in the benefits of LEDs and the aesthetics of recessed lighting.  We decided to have all our track lighting taken out and replaced with LED lights.  What a huge difference.  The lights produce a much brighter light, with much greater efficiency, and since they are recessed, the height of the rooms show off to better advantage.  When the work was done I felt like I had gotten an electrician and an interior designer rolled into one.

You won't be disappointed hiring Bart!

The owner, Bart, picked up the phone right away when I called. He was able to come the next morning when I was at the house to fix my electrical problem. He was very nice, professional, and efficient. It is very convenient because you can text with him as well as using phone and email. The problem at my house was in electrical outage along one wall of my house. The rest of the house had flickering lights. He quickly diagnosed the problem, opened up the breaker box and fixed some wiring that had come loose. Then we tested the various items that have been plugged in and found the culprit that had caused the circuit breaker problem in the first place.  Give me very helpful advice about what kind of extension cords and power strips to use that were the safest in my house and could prevent future problems.

This is the 2nd time around with 110/220v Electric. This review is a bit overdue. Bart and Chris came to replace our main panel due to some safety issues we didn't know we had. As well as installing a few junction boxes up in the attic, relocating sub panel to a more accessible spot and rewiring some of our outlets and switches that were wired incorrectly. Bart and Chris are honest, well experienced, licensed, was always on time, fairly priced and lastly did a great job cleaning up. They went above and beyond to meet our Electrical needs. Highly recommend Bart and Chris from 110/220v Electric.

Bart Is fantastic! We have a rental property in the SF Bay Area (we now live 3 hours North) and on a Friday night tenant called with issues of an old fuse box in the closet. PG&E came out and did a very temporary fix. I got in touch with Bart at 7:30 pm told him what PG&E had told me and he set an appointment for first thing Saturday morning to check things out.  He called us as soon as he looked at the problem first thing Saturday morning.  It was a situation that had to be done right away, he was hoping to save us a few bucks by coming out during the week to do the repairs, but, the problem was a bit more serious.  Bart gave us an estimate for the Saturday fix and by the time he finished and billed us, it was actually a smidge under his estimate. How often does that happen?  We were very grateful for Bart's expertise and promptness. He not only got to our property as soon as possible but, he completed the work all within 24 hours of the phone call!  We will be using Bart/110 220v Electric for all of our future electrical needs.  We will be recommending 110/220v to all our Bay Area friends/family in the future too.  Thank you again, Bart, you really came through on our urgent matter.

My husband and I bought a house in Pacifica that needed new or updated electrical in almost every room in the house. We found Bart and his team on Yelp and with such amazing reviews, decided to get an estimate from him for the work. He was incredibly professional and provided a very reasonable estimate for all work with a very quick turnaround time. He and his team did a variety of electrical work including working on our main electrical panel outside, installing recessed LED lighting throughout the house, replacing old recessed lighting, installing ceiling lights in multiple bedrooms that had no ceiling lights before, and wiring/installing a dinning room chandelier. They also replaced almost every light switch in the house. He and his team finished early, so early in fact we actually added additional work to his proposal that he was still able to complete within his original timeline. His team was incredibly efficient, extremely professional, very knowledgeable, and the quality of work is beautiful. Our new house finally feels like a home and we are thrilled with the results. We highly recommend Bart and his team for any electrical work you need done.

I contacted several vendors/electricians wanting to install an outlet in my Shelter Creek closet.  I have two indoor cats and recently purchased a self-cleaning litter box that runs off electricity.  The litter box is maintained in the closet where there is no outlet.  I had been running the cord to the nearest outlet in the kitchen.  However, I constantly dislodged the cord and feared I would eventually trip over it.  One company that came to my unit said the work was too extensive requiring sheet rocking and painting.  Fortunately, Bart responded within three of my hours of my initial contact.  We set up an appointment the following day.  He and his crew arrived early.  In total he spent less than two hours on the project.  Best part is that he installed the outlet without having to sheet rock and/or paint.  As the owner Bart oversees his crew and is very hands on.  Not only does he do quality work, they are fast and clean.  Total cost was reasonable and did not exceed his original estimate.  If you're in search of a great knowledgeable electrician who knows what he's doing I highly recommend Bart.  Thank you Bart and 110/220 Electric Co.

I needed an electrician to put in a new outlet for the garage.  I came upon Bart's blog on his website on the dangers of having a FPE panel and I immediately went to check my panel just to see what type I have and it was a FPE panel.  What a surprise!  Since I was clueless, I googled further the problems of having a FPE panel and for the next hour read about stab-lok breakers  and read fire story after fire story. These fires can get nasty and can take out half your house in a short time and even result in death.  I have my kids and grandkids come stay and visit often.   I would never forgive myself if something happened to them and I knew that I had something in the house that was unsafe and did nothing about it.  My current panel was not giving me any problems, but these stab-lok breakers have a high rate of failure.   I told my husband, we are changing the panel.  No argument from him.

I called Bart and he came by and gave me an estimate on the same day.   As soon as I had a free day, Bart and his team (Chris and Sharon) were here to remove my FPE panel.  Bart made a difficult job look easy.  They were knowledgeable and very skillful.    From the beginning to the end, the work was fantastic.  What an awesome team!    They were neat and tidy and cleaned after themselves. They even put on shoe covers before entering the house.  Bart noticed a few other problems in the house and fixed without charge.  Who does that these days?  They did a great job on my new garage outlet and the conduit looks beautiful.   A stellar performance by 110/220v.

Professional, reliable, and honest - Bart and his team made a very good impression.  I will be definitely calling them in the future for other electrical needs.

I have been using Bart for 19 years for various electrical work between two houses.  I trust him 200% regarding electrical issues.  We just used Bart to update part of the old knob and tube left in our house, update lights in various rooms, install new lighting in our dining room that we remodeled and a speaker system for music in the house..  It all looks great.  Bart is easy to work with and is on time and budget.

My folks who are elderly lost their power due to a bad weather head and PG&E had to disconnect the service. Bart was the one we contacted and we are so happy we did. He came over and obtained the necessary permit and got to work on it right away. He was so very aware of my folks being elderly and wanted to make sure they did not have to go without power any longer than necessary. As a result the lights were back on within one day. Amazing workmanship and exceptionally good service. Thank you Bart for everything you did for my folks.

Our home had the old nob and tube wiring and we wanted to update it.  We knew it would be a big job and so we really wanted to find someone we could trust.  After interviewing several electrical companies we went with 110/220 Electric.  We are so pleased with this decision.  The owner came out and gave us a very comprehensive inspection.  He was here for nearly one hour.  He crawled under the house, up in the attic and up and down ladders. His proposal and estimate arrived by email less than 24 hours later.  This was quite different from the quick inspections the other companies performed.  One company took nearly a week to get back to me with an estimate and was quite a bit more.  Bart Speccia, the owner, set up a schedule and he stuck to the schedule exactly.  He showed up on time each morning.  He left my home neat and clean which I really appreciated as I have two dogs and didn't want them getting into anything.  The job was completed with very little intrusion.  I highly recommend 110/220 Electrics personal reliable service for any job you may have - large or small.

Not surprised to see the 5 stars here. We live in a single family home in Burlingame and used Bart for the electrical part of an A/C installation. He answered his phone, came to my home the same day for a quote, showed up when he said he would for the work, so all of that was fine. The part that really set him above the rest, was that we started having electrical issues shortly after he was done w/ the work so I emailed and called him asking if something maybe happened during the install. Most people would take their money and run and not care if there were issues after the fact. But Bart came over at 10pm when I told him my lights kept flickering. He 1) found something wrong w/ our original electrical install and 2) discovered there was sparking on our electric pole outside and this was a PG&E issue that was an emergency and could have caused a fire. Bart still believes in building/keeping relationships, and we will be customers of his for life! Thanks Bart!
