Genesis Plumbing

Called this morning at 9:15 about a backed-up kitchen sink. Was told they could have someone here in a few hours and I asked what time (because I would have tried to find someone to come sooner) and he said he could have a guy here in an hour and gave me Miguel's name. Miguel showed up on time and fixed our problem right away. He made sure to snake the drain all the way to the sewer so the problem wouldn't happen again any time soon and reminded us not to put eggshells down the drain.  It was cheaper than a different company we called couple years ago when the laundry needed to be snaked. I would definitely call Genesis again if we need them! Thanks guys

We had to get 3 sinks snaked. The guys showed up on time, professional and friendly, got the job done fast. Javier and his partner (didn't get his name) did a great job. Javier also made suggestions for things he noticed that may need attention in the near the future. Not an up sell just sharing knowledge. We had a water leak recently due to A/C drain pipe to the bathroom sink being clogged, he recommended a filter be installed into the pipe which can be cleared out twice a year so this doesn't happen again. He made other suggestions as well. Good guys / honest straight shooters. I'll definitely be using Genesis for future jobs.

Carlos and his crew are absolutely amazing.  We had a plumbing problem under our kitchen sink and hardwood floor and I called Genesis in the evening.  Carlos had a crew member out to our home by midday the next day and the problem was resolved with very little expense.  Genesis could have charged me more and made more repairs, but told me they weren't required.   Genesis is a company with integrity that is fair to customers, charges reasonable rates and is very responsive.  This is the best plumbing company I have ever used.

A handyman broke a pipe at noon and someone from Genesis was out to fix it by 3pm. Heroes! Was much more expensive than anticipated because of the unusual width of the pipe but I was on an incredibly tight timeline and grateful they could get everything patched up.

One evening at about 10:00pm I started my laundry. As my washer was draining, smelly sewage water started filling up my bathtub. My husband is deployed so i started to panic because I have never experienced a plumbing emergency before. I called my landlord and he told me this issue is the tenants problem.

After a quick FB post asking for plumbers in my area, Genesis Plumbing was recommended.

So I called and Carlos was so nice. He assured me everything was going to be okay and he decided to come take a look at the problem within 15 mins of that phone call. He knew exactly what the issue was after coming here. Also being a female in her 20s, alone, with a stranger at 10:00pm, i felt extremely safe around Carlos. He was very respectful and professional.

He scheduled one of his guys (Mario) to come out the next morning at 8:00am to snake the main drain. Within 12 hours of making that initial phone call to Genesis at 10:00pm, my drains were fixed and for an affordable price.

My experience was very pleasant with Genesis Plumbing. I would 10/10 use this company again in the future.

I had a few issues. I thought the master shut-off valve outside of my condo was faulty, the shut-off valve in one of my bathrooms was indeed faulty, the toilet needed a minor repair, and the shower drain needed to be snaked. I called Carlos at Genesis on Tuesday and he had someone at my place by 1pm on Wednesday. That guy, Rick, came in, listened to my explanation, understood what needed to be done right away, determined that the master valve was actually fine, and then got right to work on the other tasks. He was friendly, quiet and efficient. In a world where customer service appears to be dead and no one seems to know what they're doing, this was a refreshing change. Thanks, Genesis.

Solid local business.  Love an owner to do what he says he's going to do, when he said he would do it. Great value. Responsive and efficient.

Awesome service. JC/ Robert was awesome. Called because I needed a plumber to snake my main. Were here in less than 30 minutes on a Friday!
Turned out my house wasn't exactly built correctly and 60 years later we finally found the real reason the drains weren't working properly.
Needless to say if you need an:
1) Affordable
2) Honest
3) Worthwhile and can find the real problem, not create a plan for more service..

Plumber, check with these guys. I was not disappointed in the least.

Our beautiful home in Coronado has renters in for the month of July. Yesterday morning an upstairs leak caused a call to Genesis.. water was pouring out of the walls. Carlos and his crew not only came over and fixed it, but had the Sheetrock removed and replaced and painted so that the renters could enjoy the 4TH of July.. Genesis will be my plumbing company for life now. Not many people move heaven and earth to help others.. we are very grateful!!

The water heater broke and water was flooding throughout the cottage with original red oak floors! After the tenant shut it off, towel dried the floor & put a few fans on, she notified me. At 10:00 PM, I went to Yelp for plumbing reviews. Several plumbers listed 24 hour service. Only one plumbing company, Genesis Plumbing's owner, Carlos Rojas, answered the 10:00 PM phone call. After some fact finding during our conversation, he came at 8:00 AM the next morning and removed & hauled away the old water heater, then installed the new water heater. Easy peasy! I will use Genesis Plumbing again. They deliver!!!

They were hired by a since fired general contractor to start a commercial plumbing job.  All I can say is verify & check the work and compare it to the invoice before paying.    My mistake for not doing so.  They would not correct their work with out additional costs.

Miguel was amazing! They came within the hour and fixed our kitchen pipe clog. Highly recommend for your plumbing needs.

We had accidentally broken a valve and had to have the water off to our unit. We needed to get help quickly. They were able to get someone to us immediately. The technician, Carlos, was prompt, friendly and knew how to resolve the problem right away. We are very satisfied and we highly recommend Genesis Plumbing to others.

Alex does a great job. I've hired him for 4 different jobs now. He's always on time, professional, explains exactly what the problem is and options to fix it, and does a stand up job with the repair. He's my go-to guy for all plumbing issues!

After twenty years of different local plumbers I've finally hit on a keeper. Miguel made it out to my place, assessed the problem, told me his plan and carried it out. Genesis worked me with to fit into my schedule and really came through for my family. They're the only number I need for plumbing.

I have called on Genesis plumbing 3 times now.    And not because of bad work but because they have saved me from my house plumbing problems.     They have been reliable,  honest , very helpful and great on there price for the work they have done.   I am very grateful for their help.   I really recommend them.   I have zero complaints.

Its the beginning of the long holiday weekend, and of course we have a backup in a high rise HOA we manage. Bill Howe came and left without fixing the problem, and I had used Genesis once before, so recommended them to fellow manager. They got out to the job site in an hour, was honest and said the issue corrected itself, and did not charge a trip fee or any fee for that matter. You have gained a long term customer with us! Thank you for being reliable and honest, gives us hope for future emergencies.

Excellent service & professional company!  I had a clogged kitchen sink  due to eroded garbage disposal.  Genesis Plumbing came out and installed new garbage disposal very fast and professional.  Now I can use my sink again! Carlos was quick to respond and text me with accurate time frame of my appointment on a Sunday.  Genesis Plumbing saved the day because I had appointment with another company which did not honor the appointment. I'm so happy I found Genesis on Yelp and they were able to do same day service.  I look forward to using them again for other projects.  Highly recommend them.

Carlos and Genesis Plumbing were quick to asses the problem (our condo complex had intermittent water pressure, and we were not able to shut off the water to the whole building), and provided a number of options for our HOA to analyze.  On the day of install/repair, Genesis showed up when they said they would, and performed the work they promised.  We have had a very good experience with Genesis and we have recommended them to other residents in our building.

Truly, one of he best experiences I've had with any plumber. Cordial, clean, professional and very friendly. They really know their stuff.  And did I mention they were there on time?

My overall experience was disappointing.  I had a leaking water pipe, and they repaired it, but after turning back on the water, my shower valve and my neighbor's shower valve wouldn't allow the hot water to flow. Apparently calcium deposits had broken loose when the water was turned back on. My disappointment came when the owner of Genesis said we both required new shower valves at $490 (parts & labor) for each unit....nearly $1000! I called another plumber who said that it was unlikely that the valve required replacement. The other plumber fixed each shower valve for $150 (parts & labor per valve) by just replacing the cartridge.

Genesis Plumbing is amazing! Thank you to Carlos! They serviced my home in Coronado when the main ball valve of my house had broken and I had no water at all. They came the same day within an hour! Very honest, reasonable people. I call them with all my plumbing needs now!

They were great. Helped fixed several things from a leaky outside faucet,  L valves, to pressurizers/new shutoff valves.  Very easy to work with, good customer service. They are definitely my go to plumbers.

I got a call from my tenant at 7:30 pm that the hot water heater at our condo in IB was gushing water and she had no idea what to do. I checked Yelp for emergency hot water heater repair and selected Genesis based on reviews. Carlos picked up on the first ring and just said I'm on my way. By the time I arrived from Coronado, he had shut off the gas, begun draining the hot water, and ordered the replacement heater, including a code mandated upgrade, and the plumber who was going to complete the job was on the way. My tenant was so relieved, and the repair was completed within 2 hours, including gas back on. This was all done for an amazingly reasonable price. I cannot recommend Carlos enough. he reassured me that even if I was out of town, if my tenant had issues, she could call him and he would come and do a repair and he would settle with me later. This is the kind of service that keeps people coming back for more. Thanks so very much!

I have used Genesis for the past two years for jobs big and small, from a complete removal and replacement of a tub shower to gas line rerouting and capping, to simple drain clogs. They are my go-to plumber for my apartment building. Carlos has been very responsive to any issues and I recommend him and Genesis without reservation.

Carlos and Genesis Plumbing were extremely kind and professional.  It was wonderful working with them as they turned a large pipe replacement project into a one day affair, allowing us to get back into our home ASAP.  Clean up was great, pricing was fair, and above all, they were very open about what was going on, how long it would take, and updated us frequently as their timeline and outlook improved.  10/10 will call again.
