Ron is fantastic to work with. I've called him a few times for random work - pipes making odd noises or toilets that need some kind of attention. He's always been incredibly quick to respond to my calls or text messages. So far he's been able to be at my home either the same or the next day. When we had a minor issue with work he did, he was back first thing the next morning to fix it again.

I cannot recommend Ron more highly. I will certainly continue to call on him for all our future plumbing needs.

Had Ron and crew come out over a month ago to fix a running and leaky toilet. Then out of nowhere we had this phantom leak. You can tell Ron cares about his customers cause he was in the middle of moving. I told him that it was a slow leak and that I could wait a couple of days. Next thing I know he's at my door and wanted to get to the bottom of the issue. Still couldn't find out where the leak was coming from, but the leaking has stopped. The toilet runs great and stays dry on the outside. You won't find anyone better. Thanks again Ron!

Ron came out to look at a leaking pipe that was sending water out a vent and down the side of my house.  When we took the vent off, we found that there was a large hole in the cast iron drain pipe under the house ...

... Ron couldn't crawl under the house to fix it, but didn't charge me anything for coming out, and referred me to someone else to do the job.  Really nice and honest plumber !!! Bookmarked him ...

UPDATE - 2/06/2017 - Ron came out today and fixed some clogged shower drains and a leaky toilet.  He arrived on time, did a great job, and charged a fair price.  THANKS AGAIN !!!

Our bathroom pipes were clogged and I tried to find a plumber ASAP. After phoning six of them, they all said they could come out either the next day or the following day. This was not acceptable! I mean without bathrooms, what are we supposed to do--build an outhouse in the back yard?

I found Ron Hendricks on Yelp and when I called, he said he would be at our house in 45 minutes and he was right on time! Since the house does not have a Clean-out pipe in the front, Ron had to go on to the roof and use his electric snake down through the bathroom vent. All in all, the snake went about 85 feet out near the street. No obstruction was found, but Ron said the juniper bush roots out front may have broken into the sewer-line pipe. To know for certain, this requires one of those special (and very expensive) snake cameras.

In the meantime, Ron got us back-on-track and gave some useful suggestions. He also replaced an old, corroded gas line and valve below our stove burners and made sure there were no gas leaks.

I would not hesitate to use Ron again and highly recommend him.

Ron is the real deal. He puts his creativity to work when needed.

We needed the valves for our washing machine replaced asap otherwise we wouldn't have any water to the house because our valve had broke. He came that same day within hours (he luckily had an opening and was in my area that day). Very professional and honest. Will definitely recommend.

My wife found Hendricks through the internets and was immediately impressed. Ron was polite, helpful, and professional. When he arrived the next day he talked me through everything he was doing and explained the costs involved with my problem. Awesome small business! Had a leak in the slab, he came over first thing in the morning to give me a free estimate and started work the next business day. Had a leak in the wall. Called Ron and he/his crew were at the house within an hour. Turns out our problem was with our HVAC and not the plumbing. We were only charged for what was necessary. Ron and his crew were professional and thorough with their job. Would definitely recommend.

I had a faucet that was leaking in our garage. I tried to fix it myself and realized that it was out of my area of experience to be able to do so. Water was shooting all over the garage. I ended up having to turn the water off. I emailed Ron on a Sunday when he was not working. He responded and gave me a fair estimate in a follow up email.
We set up an appointment to fix the faucet first thing on Monday.
Ron arrived on time. Ron not only did an excellent job of fixing my replacing faucet, which required a new faucet to be soldered on, but he went above and beyond my expectations. He moved the existing faucet to a much easier access location, this required adding in extra copper pipe and Ron went even one step further adding in a wood brace. This was all done within the estimate he sent me on the email. I was very impressed.
Ron is the type of person that does not just do what needs to be done to get a job done. He wants to do an excellent job. And he does all he can to meet that goal of doing excellent work he has.
So my expectation on this job was to just replace the leaking faucet.
What Ron did was not only replace the leaking faucet, he moved the faucet to a better location. He also added in a supportive wood brace. And he did all of this for a very reasonable price.
I will definitely call Ron for any future plumbing needs I have. He is excellent!

During his work he told me how he has added in new copper pipelines for huge apartment complexes. This shows in his work, he is very fast at what he does and you can tell its done right. I would also add that he thoroughly tests his work to make sure there are no leaks.
Not only did Ron do an excellent job but he seems to me from my experience with him to be a very honest person and someone that has earned my trust.
Ron is also very helpful. I also asked Ron some questions about best methods for fixing things myself. He gave me some helpful pointers like, its recommended when using Teflon plumber tape to wrap the tape clockwise around the pipe threading. This prevents the threading from coming off when the faucet is removed to add a replacement faucet later.
When you have Ron come out your working with him as a team. He is not threatened by any work you can do on your own, he just wants to help you get the job done and will do all he can to do that.

Also while working on my job, Ron had another customer call on the phone and he gave her an estimate on the phone of what her issue would cost to fix. He is the first plumber I have had that does this. Most say, I don't know, I would need to see what is going on to give an estimate. Not Ron, you know before he gets there what the ballpark cost would be and he not only sticks to it but is very fair if anything extra is done like in my case adding in extra copper pipe soldered line to make the faucet access easier to get to. Above and beyond expectations!

Ron did a fantastic job on a minor re-plumbing project.  He came out on a Friday and looked at the job and a really quick quote came back later that day.  he scheduled the work the following  wednesday. would highly recommend him.

I left a voicemail for Ron before he was open because I had a busted pressure balancing cartridge in my bathroom shower. He called me back at 8:03am, 3 minutes after he opened. He arrived on time and had the new part on his truck. The repair took about a half an hour and he also did a little maintenance on the shower head while he was here. Ron was very professional and friendly. He even offered to take off his shoes because I had just steam cleaned the carpet! I would not hesitate to call Hendricks Plumbing again and would refer them to others without hesitation.

Fantastic service!!  I cancelled another company (Rescue Rooter) because they didn't come at their appt time, then pushed it off 1 hr... then I called at the hr mark and it was gonna be another 2hrs.
Well I called Hendricks Plumbing when I cancelled and they were finishing up a job nearby.  Showed up super quick.  He was friendly and professional.  My shower just needed to be functional, I wasn't worried about aesthetics as I am remodeling soon... someone slipped in the shower and bent/broke the shower faucet so it wouldn't turn off.  Total time took maybe 20 minutes.  Military discount as well. Great service!!  Will call again for sure

He gives you quotes over the phone (which is very helpful and especially great if you can take a camera phone photo and send it to him so he can really assess the situation and give you an accurate quote over the phone before arriving. There still may be some issues that weren't visible in the photo but he will address everything and give you his Professional opinion on everything you are concerned about and try to save you money by letting you know the possible life expectancy of the item (i.e. ; water heater) so you can keep an eye on it and notify him asap if he finanlly goes.

I was very impressed with him, his knowledge and his punctuality- definitely part of my crew now.

I called another plumber and he didn't call me back after I gave him over 24 hours.  I called Hendrick's after finding them on Yelp.  Ron answered right away, had me text him photos, advised and sent me pictures of faucets that would work.  Once I got the items needed he set up a appointment via text and came 5 minutes early for the appointment.  He was friendly, professional and fair priced.  He did excellent work and was very thorough. If I have another plumbing problem I will call Hendricks.

Called Ron for an emergency plumbing situation where a tenant's shower wouldn't turn off and needed someone to come fix it asap. I called Hendricks Plumbing when my husband and I were selling our townhouse and the buyer had requested some repairs on the toilets.  Ron spent some time with me on the phone laying out my options and estimates for the work, even letting me know things could get ugly (and costly) fast with the particular issues we had.  He recommended just offering the buyer a credit and having them take care of the repairs themselves, which would also protect us should any issues arrive in the future with any repairs we would have done.  I appreciated his advice and we ended up offering the credit, which the buyer accepted.

Based on this experience alone, I would definitely call Hendricks Plumbing again for any issues we may need help with in the future.  He is knowledgeable and easy to talk to.

Being in an all female household, having plumbing or electrical problems can cause a lot of panic. Our water heater was draining steaming hot water from the safety pipe outside the house. Never having any plumbing issues before, I don't know anyone to call on. Turned on to Yelp and found Hendricks Plumbing. Ron arrived in 10 mins, found the problem right away and even advised me on ways not to spend on unnecessary repair or replacement.
He was very knowledgable, professional and courteous. He charged me a very reasonable fee for a job very well done.

Ron is awesome and gives wonderful service! After a failed experience with a different plummer (*rapid plumming*), I gave Hendrick's plumming a call. I told him what was going on and he was just great! He was so honest and gave us tips to help identify the issues that we were going through.  Instead of just taking our security deposit like the other jerks did (which btw, they didn't show up to their promised date and time - twice!) Ron was so kind to just walk through our problems.  We now know who to go to when we have any issues! I cannot thank him enough!

We called Ron on a Friday morning and he was at our house when we asked him to be later that day. He correctly diagnosed our problem, was very thorough and professional and stuck to his reasonable quote. Will definitely call him again and share his number with our neighbors

I found Hendrick's Plumbing years ago when I needed a minor repair and haven't needed a plumber since but I've kept Ron's card on our fridge just in case. Water heater broke last week and he replaced it quickly and at a very reasonable cost (another plumber wanted to charge me over $500 more when he came out, after they had already quoted me a price on the phone). Ron made recommendations but did not pressure me to do anything I didn't want done like some places do. He arrived exactly when he said he would, answered all my questions, and is always so helpful. Ron also noticed the flapper and handle in our toilet was broken so he offered to fix it without tacking on another fee even though I offered to pay for that as well.  I highly recommend him, especially if you're in East San Diego! I won't call anyone else ever again if I need plumbing work!

Ron was amazing! After getting the runaround from our home insurance company and another plumber, we called Ron and asked for help. He answered his phone and walked us through the options, even though his business was already closed. He started work in our house less than 24 hours later and did a great job. When unforseen renovation issues popped up, as they always do in old houses, he communicated well and was more than reasonable. We now have a lifetime plumber.

Ron is a nice guy who knows his stuff and gives fair prices.  What more can you ask for?  Needed an old cast iron pipe moved out of the way of my crawlspace window.
Ron worked with me and did the parts I couldn't handle, brought all the stuff I would need and instructed me on the parts I felt I could do myself.  I don't think there are too many guys out there that would do that.  He also told me if I couldn't finish it up to give him a call and he'd provide further guidance.  Support the small guys and hire Ron.  You'll get personal service, a good attitude, a fair price and a guy who knows his stuff.

Just like everyone else, I give Ron 5 stars.  He's prompt, knowledgeable, very inexpensive but the best thing about Hendricks Plumbing is his integrity.  Now a days that is not something I come across very often.  I trust him.  You bet I'll be calling him when needed again.  This was the second time I used Hendricks Plumbing.  I recommend him to anyone.  Now all I need is to find an honest electrician, appliance repair person ...

I had a complete back up on the main drain to my house, Ron Hendricks came in after I had spend $225 with Roto Rooter who didn't unclog the drain.   Within 20 minutes Ron had not only unclogged the drain, but given me a recommendation on how to maintain it root free in the future. Oh and for half the price as Roto Rooters!
Definitely recommend Hendrick's Plumbing to my friends and to anyone who reads this.

After checking out Yelp,  I was impressed with the reviews.  Ron came out this morning at the promised time..they were efficient, professional, took great care to minimize mess, & wiped up footprints. Honest and personable..  With an old house,  I think you will get called out a couple times a year . Will wait till you heal that broken arm though!

Kitchen fawcet stopped working yesterday afternoon.  Called our usual place and they weren't available until Friday so I jumped on Yelp.  Ron answered the phone right away and agreed to be here within a few hours.  He was quick and has excellent customer service!  I look forward to having him help us with any future plumbing needs.

I've had Ron out twice now. I didn't review him after the first job because the job was just too big and beyond his capabilities, although he really tried to help me out. (honest, what a concept!) He referred me to a company that was able to take care of the problem very well since they had access to a backhoe and large crew.

I did have occasion to call him out again today after my home warranty company left me without the use of my toilets for over 14 hours. While I was waiting for the warranty plumber to so much as call me, I called Ron. He was here when he said he'd be here, within an hour and half of my call. While here, the warranty plumber finally called me, from Vista to schedule, but Ron was already almost done fixing my problem by then. Needless to say, I'm cancelling my home warranty. Ron took care of my problem in no time, checked to make sure there weren't any other problems. Fixed some other things, all for the price he initially quoted me, which was only $10 more than what I would have had to pay the home warranty plumber. I also agree with the poster that said he's just a really nice guy. I HIGHLY recommend Ron for your plumbing needs and am so glad that I called him today!   {:)

Ron is awesome. Called him up yesterday and talked a little bit about my issue. Sent me pictures after work, and after his hours, and he called me back and discussed what the possibilities could be. He said he would come over today between 2-3 and I was running a little late, but he was there at 2pm on time. I found a broken pipe from a hose line in my front yard. I had to go to work and couldn't locate the leak so I called Hendricks plumbing. Ron came out within 2 hrs of my call and fixed the leak. His price was reasonable and he was very honest and did great work. I will use them again should the occasion arise!

Had Hendricks Plumbing come out today to replace some valves for my washer and dryer. Hands down excellent service from start to finish. From calling to schedule an appointment to cleaning up after the job. He was on time, professional, honest, and courteous. We have had some sporadic problems with the draining of one of our toilets and decided to call in someone who is knowledgable to give us an idea of what's going on. Since the toilet had been unclogged before Ron arrived, he couldn't definitively say where or what caused the clog but he snaked the line and gave us some really good advice on what to do and look for in case it happens again. If we have another plumbing issue I would give Ron a call without hesitation.

I have had Ron out twice in the last month or so on unrelated issues. In both cases, he was able to get the problems fixed quickly. His rates are extremely reasonable, and he's just a darned nice guy as well. He gets on the problem, gets it fixed, and leaves you feeling better. He also stands behind his work, and even asked if we were having a problem with his previous work, just to make sure. Did I mention what a nice guy he is?

Save your time and call him first.

I tried to fix a leak on the front sprinkler valve installed incorrectly into the water main by the previous owner of my house. I broke the pipe and needed help quick. I called a few places that wanted a arm and leg to come out right away. Found Ron on Yelp, glad I did. Ron came out right away and did a great job at a fair price. Not sure why it took me 2 weeks to write this review...with how awesome Ron is, I should've wrote it the same day. I was having so much trouble finding a plumber on a late Saturday afternoon until I called Ron, who came out in about 30 min!  He was literally 1/3 the price of a well known company, just to come out and asses the situation. Ron was very thorough, helpful and overall great guy.

Ron came out to address a few different plumbing issues at my rental property and while there I discovered some additional unrelated issues which Ron was able to accommodate and quickly address. Was extremely professional and pleasant to deal with. Very honest and very fair on the pricing on the multitude of jobs he ended up doing for me, from the bathroom vanity drain pipe, toilet, kitchen sink water supply and drain, new faucet installation, and new regulator for my main water supply. Did a quality job!  I highly recommend Ron! Will not hesitate to call him for my next plumbing related disaster.

If you would enjoy the pleasure of seeing a artisan at work with your plumbing issue, Ron is your plumber! He has that type of incredible intuition that practically works miracles. He repaired a sudden strange problem with my tankless hot water heater, which wound up solving other issues--he truly knows how these contraptions operate. The tankless system operates better now than it ever has, but it was even more wonderful to watch him at work.

Called Ron he offered to come out the same day, but due to my scheduling I opted for the next day. He came on time as promised. He was here to help unclog a slow flushing toilet that was caused by my toddler throwing something it. He worked for a very long time trying to get it out. He wasn't able to get it do to the positioning, but offered several suggestions. Since we plan to remodel our bathroom we're going to buy a new toilet and Ron do the install. He felt bad that he didn't get the item out of the toilet and offered us a discount on the new toilet install!! Oh did I mention he gives a military discount :) will definitely use again!

We cant say enough good things about Hendricks Plumbing! They came out the same day we called, explained the problem we had with our toilet in a way that was easy to understand and fixed the problem in a timely manner! And the guy who came to our house had a great personality. We have dealt with another local plumbing company (San Diego Plumbing Heating & Air) and always had nothing but negative, terrible experiences. It was a totally different experience with Hendricks! Had a badly clogged drain. Ron came out early on day after Christmas and fixed things right away. Showed up on time. Quoted price was final price and was reasonable. Nice to have a 30-day warranty on any further clogs. Very professional and friendly. Definitely my new plumber for all future work - we've used 4 others since moving here in 2009 and he is easily the best we have encountered.

I just moved to spring valley and my home didn't have an existing gas line for the dryer so searched on yelp for a local expert  to run this line for me without breaking the bank and Hendricks plumbing popped up so I read all the reviews and it turns out that the business is run by Ron himself and. He does all the work himself!! So i gave a call and Ron comes out to meet me on the same day right after work around 4 pm I explained to him what I need and right away he knew exactly what I wanted and he even given me options on which ways would save me the most money which is awesome... So after we come up with a plan he went and gather the materials he needed to do the job since it was late already Ron showed up the very next morning ready to go so he started and bam it took no longer than an hr and he was finished... Thank u Ron!!! I recommend you give him a call for all of your plumbing needs.  Quality service affordable price!

We're moving into Spring Valley and had Ron come out a couple times to fix some things in the new (ha) house. He was thorough, patient, took time to learn what we needed done, offer options, and educate us. Then he did the work well and at a good price. He came on time, communicated promptly by phone/email, and didn't leave a mess.

My kitchen sink backed up and I couldn't get it unclogged.  I called Hendricks early the next morning and they were there within 2 hours as promised.  They  were fast and professional, even reconnected the pipes I'd taken off trying to get it unclogged myself the night before. During the visit I had them also give me a quote on a larger job which entailed fixing some do it yourself plumbing for my washer from the prior homeowners and connecting it all to my septic.  The whole job entailed not only the plumbing but cutting through the wall and breaking up some concrete to run the pipe.   They were by far the most practical from all the other plumbers I'd had out in their solutions which in turn limited the amount of concrete that needed to be taken up, in addition to being reasonably priced.  As with the clogged pipe they were fast and professional and did a great job! Would definitely call them again for any of my plumbing needs!

I had a cut-off valve that was not working, so I called Ron and he came at very short notice.  Strangely enough, the valve was working again by the time he arrived, so he only charged me a very small amount for his time.  He seemed like a nice and helpful fellow, so I will certainly call upon him again if I need plumbing work.
