Many issues.  This review isn't complete but I'll write the details when the issues are resolved (or not). Do not trust this company

They saved the holidays for me. Truly.

Usually plumbers get a bad rap because of over charging, etc - but our tech today, Adam, was just an honest good guy.

We were worried about our washer/dryer hoses/valves and got a quote over the phone.

It would be a four hour window when someone would show up. Adam was cool and gave us a call when he was 30 min away.

He was considerate about entering and even put on booties.

He took a look at our issue and said the job would be more as it would involve cutting away some material to make way for new material.

It's the holidays. I'm saving money for Christmas and family. I can't afford more fixes at the moment.

Adam never tried to upsell me. Or pressure me. Or scare me about 'possibility of this and that'. He simply understood my situation and said he wanted to check the water pressure to make sure all was fine since i didn't want to deal with laundry valves. He also helped tighten a faucet without me even asking.

He only charged me $39 for the visit. And that can go towards the future repair. He'll email us a more detailed estimate.

So yeah. There are good people out there when you least expect it.

I wish I could give Daniel TEN stars!! In the past year, he has, replaced my tankless water heater, replaced my kitchen faucet, cleared up a small problem with a dishwasher install (that a major appliance store installed) and then today he replaced a drain pipe in the bathroom sink of my 71 year old home. The old pipe was very heavy cast iron, he replaced it with a new plastic pipe. I had only just recently noticed that I had a leak (inside the wall) when the drywall under the sink started to erode. This problem could have gotten a lot worse for me. Thank God for Daniel! He came on time, assessed the problem, figured out the best way to proceed and after explaining everything to me, he quickly and beautifully made the repairs. He is highly skilled, very professional and courteous, he has always arrived on time and his prices are fair.

Have used larger companies in the past but decided to give local business a try. So glad we did!!  Dave took the time to explain things and even found issues that other plumbers didn't catch.  Matt and team are great to work with.  We feel that they are honest and want to do the job right the first time.

I found CML with search on the internet and decided to try them after reading many of the reviews, they turned out to be be spot on, CML did a great job for me. Most surprising was the problem that I thought was a plumbing problem wasn't, as explained to me by Chris, it was what I was doing that caused the problem so there was nothing for him to do. Another pleasant surprise was that he didn't charge for the house call. I mentioned to him that the house had no outside drain clean outs and that I had trouble with a toilette. He looked into the clean out situation and found a way to get access to the clean out without much trouble and he also recommenced a much better toilette.  CML is now my go to plumbing company.

I contacted one of their plumbers directly, Greg DiStefano, that i had used several time before he joined the PAWS team. I had a water heater installed 4.5 years ago by one of the big TV ad companies. Their salesman ( the other company) sold me a cheap unit and a 10 year extended warranty. I had the installing company come out and they told me the wind blew out the pilot ( unit is inside my garage. One week later it happened again- and that company told me they couldn't help me.

So after contacting Greg and being directed to PAWS i was given an appointment for the next day. I was thrilled when they had a cancellation the same day. I chose to replace the unit since it was impossible to wait for hot water especially during the pandemic and approaching holiday season.

Greg arrived, switched out the unit and within the hour i had hot water and it was easy to see on this unit if the pilot was out - if it was on there is a flashing green light i can see from my kitchen door!

My parent's kitchen sink and bathroom faucets  are connected via the same pipes in the wet wall so the kitchen floor and bathroom sprung a leak at the same time. Water was leaking under the kitchen sink onto the floor and also in the bathroom and was bubbling up from the floor tile grout. The problem was a quarter sized hole in one of the pipes in the wall that was leaking onto the ground soaking the flooring.

Travis responded within minutes of my call to assess the problem, was very professional and wore protective masks due to covid. My mother has early onset dementia and was very respectful of her and her routines. He showed us how turn the water off and trouble shoot several areas just in case anything were to happen before or after fixing, but returned the next day and fixed the problem promptly. Travis had to refit the pipes, cut them and put new pipes with an expansion sleeve on it to clamp down.

After this job as done, my dad told me he was planning on fixing issues with his water heater and a company he was looking at (Anderson Plumbing in San Diego) was quoting him $1900 to fix. After seeing Travis' quick, professional work and talking to him about cost, he decided to bring Travis for the water heater job and after he finished, Travis charged my dad around $800, saving my (both retired) parents over $1,000.

My dad has been a mechanic and general handyman all his life and he said Travis did some of the best work he's ever seen, and coming from him, that means a lot! Would definitely recommend Travis and Vessel Plumbing to anyone who wants great, professional work done in an affordable and quick manor!

the guy wanted $250 to change a filament in the water heater !! finally paid $40 to another guy.

this person wants $100 extra for an emergency anything and pretty much talks down upon you if you question his out of the ballpark prices. avoid.

Carroll Plumbing is the best plumbing company I have ever had over the last 40 years.
Max and his associate are total gentleman and extremely great plumbers. They really know how to replace a 75 gallon water heater. All new fittings and the result is like it never really happened.
The old water heater was a Bradford White and they replaced with a new Bradford White with 6 year warranty.  I can't say enough about how great they are. The owner Mike should be very proud of them.
I now have a plumber for the future.

I recommend this company to friends and family as well as other businesses looking for speedy service. We needed emergency drain service at our industrial building and Leon arrived within a few hours on a very busy Monday. He was professional and took care of the clog quickly. By the Book Plumbing is definitely on my short list of reliable businesses in San Diego.

DON'T LOOK ANYWHERE ELSE!

I called David after I had two other plumbers give me an estimate on an emergency job. The two estimates were extremely high and didn't feel that either had really looked for a solution to the problem.  Basically, they wanted to repipe my entire house!  

After reading all of the Yelp reviews, I called David.  He went right away to assess the problem and phoned within an hour of my call. It was only one small pipe that was broken!  

David is honest, polite, efficient, professional and won't sell you something you don't need.  

I would use his services again and highly recommend you call David if you need a reliable plumber.  I take that back,  call David if you need the BEST reliable plumber.

I think $1,800 was overcharged, but it was dripping heavily on a Friday night, and I had plans to go out of town.  Went to Home Depot and saw the new one was selling for $614. But all lines and valves were replaced efficiently, although rushed by Mexican Mothers Day.

Gabe did an amazing job with my kitchen! I had a busted garbage disposal, a faucet that wouldn't turn, and a scratched up two compartment drop in sink that needed replacing. Gabe was very responsive to my calls and texts.

I had issues getting the sink shipped to me from Home Depot twice and ended up buying the materials in store. Gabe was very patient and didn't mind that I had to reschedule. If you need any plumbing work done, Gabe is a great handyman that can get the job done. I'll be contacting him for any future job I need done.

My kitchen sink backed up all the way into my bathroom sink. From the first phone call, they were incredibly courteous and helpful. Rob did a great job fixing the previous homeowners botched repair job. He was friendly and upbeat, apologizing because it took him longer than expected. I was not inconvenienced at all. They cleaned up after themselves and the prices were very reasonable. I will definitely use them again!

Nice, professional man. Very kind and helpful. Gave great advice and recommendations. Honest and trustworthy. I always worry about being conned but am very pleased by help and advice from this company.

Christian is a great guy, pure pro... knowledgeable, friendly, and stuck around to make sure a particularly tough job got done right. He then charged me less than he probably should have despite circumstances causing the job to take far longer than any of us could have guessed. We'll definitely be using him for any future plumbing work.

Pipes were backed up Friday night and needed urgent plumbing help. He came to El Cajon at 7:30pm and was able to clear the pipes within 20 minutes.

Worth the call any where in San Diego!

Amazing company. I received replies by phone and email within minutes, including early Saturday morning. Extremely knowledgeable in both their field and city. They went above and beyond to help.
