This man is a puntual, reliable, knowledgeable & professional electrician. We asked him to replace our outside light  fixtures. He came over, gave us a fair bid & made the appointment for the following Monday. My husband couldn't remember how the exterior garage lights turned on & was immediately reassured there was a timer and it was set. His card says service, remodeling and new construct so we'll definitely be using him again. He's also very personable & polite.

Eddie, the electrician from Raceway, was so responsive and honest.  He took the time to contact me while on vaca out of state.  He was so helpful and explained everything in detail.  He's a keeper!

Beside being highly responsive and doing excellent work, the team at A-EV Installs followed all the current COVID safety precautions which many people and companies do not. Highly recommend A-EV for your charger or other electrical needs.

Had another guy try and wire an ac outlet, HDMI and speaker wire for a home theater.  Had to have him stop after he had started.  He cut a big hole in my drywall and said the wires couldn't be fished.  Would have to open up the ceiling at each rafter to run it.
Had Joe come out.  He saved the day.  Ran the outlet, HDMI, and speaker wire.  He was able to fish all of it without cutting a piece of drywall.  He even found a recessed tv outlet box that was big enough to cover the hole the other guy had cut in my ceiling.  Had him install a hanging light and a fan/light in another room as well.  I'll be using Joe for all my electrical needs from here on out.

FJ is a great guy with excellent customer service skills!  I was looking for an electrician because we have loads of problems at my house and he gave estimates on the phone that sounded reasonable, compared to the other electricians/ companies out there who said there was a minimum fee just to come to the door! The previous yelp reviews definitely helped in calling FJ :)
Anyways FJ comes over, looks at the houses problems, ends up being worse than I thought :( he did what he could that day and I was satisfied, my house needs miracles! However a few days later FJ emails to say it was bothering him that our house could be safer than what it was (our house is about 100yrs old, not vintage cute either) for my husband, myself and our new son.
It was/is very thoughtful that he kept us in mind even though time had passed since he came out. I was shocked and both my husband and myself were overwhelmed by how genuinely nice and caring he is.
I highly recommend him for any size project, the work he did looks awesome and knowing what the problems were before FJ we feel a lot safer.

I needed some same day work done, called Chris and he was more than happy to fit me into his day. Got back to me when he said he would, arrived on time, had all his supplies and was quick and pleasant! Kinda a goofy personality but really knows his stuff. I will definitely be calling him again if I need something done!

It is foolish to take a swing at doing your own electrical work. It even worse to hire an unlicensed handyman to come out and destroy the integrity of your home's electrical system. There are two things that you need to leave to the experts. Plumbing and electrical work. There are no exceptions to this rule.

That said, we were looking for the highest rated, most qualified and experienced electricians to work on our home. We needed EVERYTHING updated and multiple fire hazards to be corrected. For some unknown reason, the prior owners liked to tinker with their electrical system...

We had countless chipped, yellow outlets and switches that were unreliable and ugly to look at. Our breaker box was dated and questionable at best. We actually had homemade SPEAKER WIRE powering lights in our livingroom! So we called DEC...

The owner John came out to our home for the initial estimate and inspection. His approach was honest and direct. He was not going to charge us for stuff that we did not absolutely need. This is proven by the way that he recommended NOT replacing our breaker box outright. He said that was unnecessary and that he would simply replace a few things on it to make it safe and reliable.

We got a quote on our job and decided to proceed. Best decision we have ever made. They sent an electrician named Justin that was on time, respectful and had a thing for electrical work. Smart guy.

Justin let us know he was going to turn off our power and got to work. This was nice since we were able to brew a quick pot of coffee before he did his thing. Justin was methodical. One problem after another was quickly addressed by rewiring or replacing the guilty components. Everything was then tested to confirm that it worked properly.  

All the work was done to beyond our satisfaction and we were very happy with how everything now seemed to work the way it should. The house also looks like it stepped out of the 1980's, and into modern times. Great work guys!

On a side note, I have to mention that an issue came up at our place after the initial work was completed... Our elderly dog got attacked by a pack of coyotes in our back yard. Don't worry, we took her to a vet and she is doing fine.

Because of this incident though, we wanted to surround the house with LED sensor lighting to decrease the possibility of future coyote visits. We called DEC again, and they sent Justin out again to update all of our external lighting.

Holy crap. It is like daylight around the perimeter of our place at night now! If those damn coyotes come around now, we will see them plain as day. They do not like bright lights or large breed dogs. Next, we will get a few big dogs to patrol our place. In addition, I will also keep a full bucket of war rocks handy to throw at the coyotes in case they ever return.

Good news is this. I can sleep better at night because of DEC. My electrical issues have been resolved and my home is safe. In addition, I know that we have extreme visibility surrounding my home. That is way better than what we used to have...manual floodlights that are expensive to run and are not as bright as LED's.

Call DEC with any electrical issues, and they will provide solutions. These guys are smart. Very smart. It was a pleasure to do business with them and we plan on calling them in the future for more upgrades.

On a final note, I have to mention money. More specifically, the costs associated with quality work. The price we paid for our projects were entirely reasonable, and a total deal if you consider that all DEC electricians are licensed, insured and professional. They DO NOT play games.

If you want to roll the dice with a handyman, consider yourself warned. Maybe handyman Joe will electrocute himself as he is tinkering around in your attic? Or maybe he can cause a nice house fire for you to enjoy! As Sweet Brown says in her infamous video...Ain't Nobody Got Time Fo Dat!

I've been really busy with life, and Miguel was there to make things happen quickly. The project was a set of lights I had installed a year prior, where one was not operating. We wanted to add a set of lights to the front of the garage as well. He completed the repair immediately on the lights that were already up in a few minutes and came back a week later to install the new lights. They are amazing. We are so happy with his crew and their service. More projects to come in the future. Great prices!!

Izack and his crew were great. Friendly, professional, prompt, and inexpensive.  I would definitely use them again and recommend them to anyone.

My whole house fan stopped workimg amidst the heat wave we were going through.. I called Electric 24inc and Tim came out promptly to assess the problem.  Immediately he was able to determine the faulty switch and repair it quickly.   He even upgraded the part to a more simplified piece.  Thanks Tim!! Definitely my go to electrician!!!

They arrived right on the appointment time and got to work right away. Kwan was efficient and helpful during the installation. Provided great service and the best part is now I can finally ditch the charging stations due to the awesome setup at home!

James from Brite was quick, professional, and very friendly- he was able to put up our contemporary, artsy chandelier up within minutes! Yay!

Not only that, he was able to troubleshoot the light switch problem right away.

At $95 plus $20 for materials, I think he was very reasonable with his quote, as a licensed electrician.

But the best part is that next time we know what to do when hanging lights again!

Just keep in mind Brite Electrics has supposedly moved from Rancho Bernardo and currently located in San Marcos, but they were quick and prompt.

Just be mindful that they will give you a 2-hour window to show up at your door.

In the past,  I have not had great luck with electricians.   Recently, Jason from Service Rite came to our place and installed LED lighting under my kitchen cabinets and replaced some switches.   He installed two Panasonic Whisper fans in my bathroom with new switches.    He was professional, courteous, punctual and did a great job.   I highly recommend him and this company.

I have used Laguna Electric a few times now and they never cease to amaze me! They are always on time and have super professional staff (both Lucian and Ryan have worked on our home). I am always a little curious and I really appreciate that they actually take a minute to explain to me what they are doing in layman's terms - and when you get them talking about their work you can tell they love it and that is why they are so good at it! I highly recommend Laguna Electric, awesome service and top notch individuals!

This is the second time I have used Dave and his crew. I was hoping the first time was not an anomaly. My wife got one of those new jet engine hair dryers that were tripping the breaker all the time. So I called RK for help. Dave came in to size up the job - even took the time to understand the problem so that he could provide an appropriate solution. He quoted the job then took the time to explains the job very clearly so there is no misunderstanding it was almost a college level tutorial on basic electronics.  His crew came in and got the job done, cleans up and very professional. Wish I had found you sooner!

We used Anthem to repair a ceiling that collapsed from another vendors repair of our  AC drip pan leak. Gunner responded right away, came out the same day to evaluate and had us back to new within a day.

Very knowledgeable and friendly, we will definitely be using Gunner on future projects.
