I called Bill based on a referral I received from a co-worker.  I can't say enough positive things about him.  He called me back within 30 minutes after I left my message, met me on-time (an exact time, not a range), quickly identified and fixed my issue, and price was super-reasonable I felt.  I highly recommend him and will call him every time I have a need for an electrician in the future.  He also helped me out with some small other items regarding my fuse box itself that I didn't even ask him to do.  He is a nice, trustworthy guy.

Highly recommend for your EV charging needs. Mark the owner, was very responsive via Yelp and they have a robust website for uploading photos of your panel and area to get an accurate quote. We were able to get it installed within a few days of initially reaching out. Husband was at home and everything went smoothly and Brandon installed the conduit and NEMA 14-50 plug. A few months later, the heavy duty plug works great and has been keeping the EV happy.

Had another guy try and wire an ac outlet, HDMI and speaker wire for a home theater.  Had to have him stop after he had started.  He cut a big hole in my drywall and said the wires couldn't be fished.  Would have to open up the ceiling at each rafter to run it.
Had Joe come out.  He saved the day.  Ran the outlet, HDMI, and speaker wire.  He was able to fish all of it without cutting a piece of drywall.  He even found a recessed tv outlet box that was big enough to cover the hole the other guy had cut in my ceiling.  Had him install a hanging light and a fan/light in another room as well.  I'll be using Joe for all my electrical needs from here on out.

David installed QUIET COOL Whole House Fans.  Prompt, efficient and completely professional.  It was a big project! I would use them for any electrical job that comes up!  I highly recommend!

Miguel came out prompt and on time every time. I needed a dedicated plug for my electric car in the garage. He helped me brain storm on placement of receptacle box for easy access and for future usage. Miguel went above and beyond what I was expecting, he cut the drywall clean and placed it back without noticing it was opened. He was also nice and professional and did the work fast wth high quality.

Got me right in, had a nice scheduling app to notify me when arriving, super clean work vs other electricians that hack up the wall to hang a tv needing lots of paint etc.  super fair rates.  Highly recommend!

I researched Installers for my new Tesla charger that were Tesla certified and cross referenced with Yelp. There was a wide range in fees, BTW. I chose EV Pros because they are reasonable, have excellent reviews, and they are local to OC. They did not disappoint. They let me know they were pretty booked, but had it installed in two days in the time window I gave them. It all went very smoothly and their technician was great! I wish everyone was like them.

Joel and his team did an outstanding job and with great customer service throughout. I was in a major time crunch to get some recessed lighting done before family came over for the holidays. Joel was able to inspect, take the bid and perform the work within a few days. He Even came back the next day to handle a small concern I had on his day off. I would highly recommend these guys again for the great attitude and fair practices. I'll also note when doing any type of electrical work it's better to have a licensed electrician, like Joel, perform the work. You don't want Dan Dan the handyman to forget to cap some live wires and have a potential fire hazard on your hand. Thanks again Joel.

Rudy is not only a great guy, but a very experienced Electrician.  He has done countless projects for many friends and associates of mine and has my highest recommendation.  Honest, Thorough and Friendly.  This is one electrician that does not make a living from gouging his clients. He's a good man!

STAY AWAY!!!  The saying birds of a fleather flock together has been verified after my experience with my kitchen contractor recommending Tony from Brite Electric.  They both did a number on me.  

My kitchen cabinet installer, who butchered my cabinets and admitted he had no idea how to do Ikea cabinets after having said he just did an Ikea kitchen the week before, recommened Tony to do the electrical for the kitchen as I needed new outlets and wiring.  At that point  I didn't know the kitchen guy was a hack, and I was on a tight timeline so I went with Tony even though his price was high.  He comes across as being very sharp and personable.  I suppose those are the ones you have to be careful of.

Tony charged me $1500 to wire up most of the kitchen.  The job took his employee James about 4-5 hours as most of the walls were open so he could do things pretty easily.  Here are the issues that arose:

1) They used 8 gauge wire for a 50 amp cooktop.  Per CA code a 50 amp appliance requires 6 gauge wire.  This is a big no-no.  It really is pathetic as the thicker gauge would have cost maybe $30 more.

2) They used a 8 gauge 2 conductor wire for the oven, when it requires a 8 gauge 3 conductor wire.  Per CA code if you had existing 8-2 wire you could reuse it, but it is much safer to use 8-3 and it is a code requirement when wiring new.  Again, they cheaped out.  This would have cost maybe $15 more.  They probably just didn't have any with them and figured I would never know.

3) They used a 50 amp breaker on a 30 amp appliance (over).  This defeats the whole point of having a breaker and is a serious problem.

4) They left a mess everywhere.  When they drilled through joists they didn't bother to vacumn anything up.  They even left their Jambu Juice cup from lunch.

5) They did not patch or cover any of the drywall holes they made.  This is unacceptable for the amount I paid and they never told me otherwise.  I then had to pay the kitchen contractor $150 to patch some drywall holes.  I think it was a total scam between them.

6) Most of the outlets were not lined up and visually off.  I had to pay somebody else to move them later.

7) The price!  I paid what amounted to probably $300/hr.   What is worse his original quote was $2100.  I'm such an idiot.

Here is where it gets fun.  After I discovered that his job was totally subpar I called to figure out a resolution.  At first he totally rebuffed me and said everythign he did was to code and he works on million dollar homes as does the same thing (this means this was not a one-off but he does illegal work regularly).  After I very specifically pointed things out he offered to send me a small amount of money.  I then told him there were more issues than I even previously knew about and the amount he was offereing was inssuficient.  At that point he stopped responding to me.  

BBB, contractor's board, and small claims court here I come!  If anbody has any questions about this review feel free to contact me.

OMG!!! This company is phenomenal!  We had to update our old radiant ceiling heating system and were at the end of our budget. We had totally remodeled our home and spent enough money as it was. Then we had to deal with bypassing the old system and having electric box heaters installed into the walls in 4 rooms. Scary as they would need to cut into the walls to do this.  After 5 other bids from local Electricians that would come out and ask us electrical questions we could not answer (which honestly scared us off) or saying they could probably do the the job) we found Service Rite Electric. They came out right away, told us what needed to be done and what type of power our system could support. They had an estimate in writing to us within the hour via email and came out the next day to do the work. They were finished in 2.5 hours and not one bit of mess! The new wall heaters looked gorgeous and work perfectly and since they finished in half the time, they took off $350.00 dollars!! Yes I definitely recommend this company! Fair, fast and friendly.

Had a great experience with this business when I needed a new circuit installed for a kitchen appliance. Very responsive, easy to schedule, reasonable price and the work done was high quality and exactly as I needed. My new appliances work great!

David responded to my Yelp request within an hour, and managed to get someone out to us the first thing the very next morning for a small job (fixing a light socket).  The repair men arrived on time, were polite, worked quickly, and explained the problem and what they were doing to fix it.  I'd definitely go back to RK Electric for any future work we may have.

We had an outlet making a crackling noise and sparking so we were really concerned about an electrical fire. He came out over the weekend and was quick, efficient, reliable, and had fair prices. We will be using him again any time we have electrical issues in the future!

George and Danny are very reliable persons. They have done work in my home since I bought my home in 2011. From changing all my light fixtures, to putting in new ones and adding ceiling fans in all my living rooms, loft/bedrooms. They are very clean and professional.
