We wish we would have fired Raceway (Eddie) when our project first got underway. We found Eddie confrontational and unprofessional every time he arrived on site. The way Raceway conducted themselves made it difficult for everyone working on our remodel. Remodels are stressful enough without having to deal with an electrician who wants to argue about his own missteps. With construction well underway, we were hesitant to make a switch in spite of several other contractor complaints. Our last straw was arriving on site only to find that our flooring contractor was repairing damage caused by Raceway. We hired another electrician to complete the job, and he ended up having to re-do much of what Raceway supposedly completed (and charged us for). We also found out how much Raceway had overcharged us for their lackluster work product (which echoes Jan's review below). Hopefully this post will help others from making the same mistake we did!

Had another guy try and wire an ac outlet, HDMI and speaker wire for a home theater.  Had to have him stop after he had started.  He cut a big hole in my drywall and said the wires couldn't be fished.  Would have to open up the ceiling at each rafter to run it.
Had Joe come out.  He saved the day.  Ran the outlet, HDMI, and speaker wire.  He was able to fish all of it without cutting a piece of drywall.  He even found a recessed tv outlet box that was big enough to cover the hole the other guy had cut in my ceiling.  Had him install a hanging light and a fan/light in another room as well.  I'll be using Joe for all my electrical needs from here on out.

RJ was prompt & professional, he took care of several issues in a matter of minutes for a reasonable price. Thanks again.

Chris is a great guy. He sorted the electrics when I demoed my shed. He also sorted out the electrics when we did our landscaping, including pulling a hell of a wire, and figuring out how to fix the electrics through my landscaper's disaster. He just coached me through a quick fix over the phone. Really honest and great value.

A few weeks ago me and my wife decided we wanted to do quite a bit of electrical work to the house ( 6 fans, 2 chandeliers, 6 outdoor lights, new Master bedroom lights, and some other misc stuff) by luck we called direct electric and they sent Jordan out the very same day to take a look and get us a quote.... the quote seemed more then fair. And the company didn't pressure us to commitment to them for the work. I spoke with the company a few more times before locking them in for the work and I am sure glad I did.... on time, respectfully, and very knowledgeable. Miguel was prompt in providing quote and he has the best rates. We needed to install 240v outlet and level 2 charger for our electric car. He completed the job within 2-3 hours and he even went above and beyond to make sure I'm happy with the result. I asked for his contractor ID and insurance card and verified his information with Contractors License Board. He's the guy to hire for your electrical needs.

Nice guy and fair pricing. We had him fix a few electrical issues at our house and hang a unique mounting chandelier. He quoted us a higher than expected but then ended up charging us his hourly which came out to much less. Thanks Isaac! We loved your service! & our chandelier!

I had a problem with a suspected faulty circuit breaker supplying juice to my electric hot water heater.  The plumbers I used, Courtesy Plumbing, recommended Tom Pablo from Electric 24.  I spoke with Tom who was able to come on very short notice.

He looked at the electrical panel and the 2 breakers that supplied electricity to my water heater.  He took them out and it was obvious they were failing, with burnt plastic on the side and a burnt smell coming from them.

Tom drove to Home Depot to get replacements since he didn't have any in his truck.  He came back and reinstalled the new breakers, and the supply of electricity to my water heater has been stable ever since.  He charged me what I consider a very reasonable rate for the work considering all the time he spent schlepping out to get the correct replacement breakers.

I'd definitely used Tom of Electric 24 again.  He's now my default electrician.  Thanks, Tom.

I contacted EV Pros about installing a charger for my Tesla. They were very quick to respond and we scheduled an appointment a couple of days later. The electrician showed up right on time and was very friendly explaining what needed to be done. He really took his time making sure all the wiring was installed nice and clean. Great job!

Joel does an excellent job. He knows his stuff and is really well priced. He has installed a 240V for our dryer, and did reccess lights for our house. His name is in my phonebook and I know I can count on Joel for any of my electrical needs.

Rudy has helped us several times handling electrical issues and upgrades inside and outside our house.  He has even done troubleshooting over the phone with me, which has saved us lots of money, avoiding expensive visits from the home warranty electricians my insurer wants to send out.

I often do my own electrical work but this time it was outside and I wanted to make sure the job was done correctly, within code, and safe as it sometimes rains in San Diego.  Anyway, I called Brite Electric after finding them on Yelp.  They came the same day to check it out and provide an estimate.  I agreed, and they came out fist thing the next morning (8:00AM as promised) and the job was done in just two hours, it would have taken me all day.  The rate was 95/hr and well worth it.

OMG!!! This company is phenomenal!  We had to update our old radiant ceiling heating system and were at the end of our budget. We had totally remodeled our home and spent enough money as it was. Then we had to deal with bypassing the old system and having electric box heaters installed into the walls in 4 rooms. Scary as they would need to cut into the walls to do this.  After 5 other bids from local Electricians that would come out and ask us electrical questions we could not answer (which honestly scared us off) or saying they could probably do the the job) we found Service Rite Electric. They came out right away, told us what needed to be done and what type of power our system could support. They had an estimate in writing to us within the hour via email and came out the next day to do the work. They were finished in 2.5 hours and not one bit of mess! The new wall heaters looked gorgeous and work perfectly and since they finished in half the time, they took off $350.00 dollars!! Yes I definitely recommend this company! Fair, fast and friendly.

Had an old dimmer switch burn out, literally burn up and melt in the wall. I went out and bought a new switch, but quickly realized I was way over my head with the amount of wiring in this particular switch box. Called Laguna Electric because they were the only place that could make evening/night calls.

Lucian picked up the phone and was at my place within 20 minutes on a Wednesday night. In and out in 15 minutes. Friendly, professional and efficient. What more can you ask for? Highly recommend!

David responded to my Yelp request within an hour, and managed to get someone out to us the first thing the very next morning for a small job (fixing a light socket).  The repair men arrived on time, were polite, worked quickly, and explained the problem and what they were doing to fix it.  I'd definitely go back to RK Electric for any future work we may have.

Very responsive professionals with a very affordable project cost. On time, clean and friendly. It took only few hours to install both the chandelier and stove.

We contacted Tapia Electric and two other electricians in November 2021 for an estimate. We chose Tapia Electric to complete the work because George really listened to the list of electrical work we needed to have completed. He made several suggestions, giving us the opportunity to decide what would work best for our lighting concerns. We could tell that George had a serious and sincere interest in completing the work to our satisfaction. The work was completed by George and his son Danny. They added 6 Post LED lights in the backyard, installed security cameras, 2 of the installations required installing electrical pipe and drilling through stucco.  The work was completed neatly and piping not noticeable.  George and Danny  replaced all coach lights in the front and backyard and porch light, fixed outdoor GFI, fixed bathroom lighting and replaced switches, installed pendant light in MB. George and his son Danny are a great team. They work efficiently and cleanly, all the while being willing  to stop and answer any questions. Their patience and willingness to listen while applying their expertise is unmatched. Because of this willingness to listen and do a great job, it allowed us to discuss other work that needed to be done and which they completed. They are professional, knowledgeable, respectful, kind and patient. Most importantly, the pricing is fair allowing a customer to prioritize their electrical needs. We will be hiring them to  complete other electrical work in the near future. We have hired other electricians and can honestly say that Tapia Electric is the best and we highly recommend Tapia Electric!
