Bill is a close-by neighborhood treasure. He has been helping us for years with electrical projects inside and outdoors. Today he installed a new chandelier, for which he also had to rewire the ceiling. Bill is honest and punctual, and tends to stop by quickly to provide you with a fair quote. Whilst working in your home he is courteous and tidy, and he takes great care to protect the area he is working in. I highly recommend him to anyone, and I would trust him with my keys.

Eddie, the electrician from Raceway, was so responsive and honest.  He took the time to contact me while on vaca out of state.  He was so helpful and explained everything in detail.  He's a keeper!

On a blustery day half of our lights went off downstairs & we were not sure if we had blown a fuse or something else was amiss.  

Mark was prompt, knowledgeable and efficient.  My husband had shopped around and everyone was around the same pricing but A-Home electric looked like their Yelp page was more professional.  :)  He got a quote and scheduled a time for later in the afternoon; same day(!)  Ends up being faulty wiring from the previous owners and not a blown fuse after all.

I highly recommend them if you need an electrician!

We were having trouble without electricity in our house all while the crazy pandemic is going on. A friend recommended Joe B. Electric to us. He was helpful and friendly! He even came back to help us put an additional part in that we needed to order. Great service!

FJ is a great guy with excellent customer service skills!  I was looking for an electrician because we have loads of problems at my house and he gave estimates on the phone that sounded reasonable, compared to the other electricians/ companies out there who said there was a minimum fee just to come to the door! The previous yelp reviews definitely helped in calling FJ :)
Anyways FJ comes over, looks at the houses problems, ends up being worse than I thought :( he did what he could that day and I was satisfied, my house needs miracles! However a few days later FJ emails to say it was bothering him that our house could be safer than what it was (our house is about 100yrs old, not vintage cute either) for my husband, myself and our new son.
It was/is very thoughtful that he kept us in mind even though time had passed since he came out. I was shocked and both my husband and myself were overwhelmed by how genuinely nice and caring he is.
I highly recommend him for any size project, the work he did looks awesome and knowing what the problems were before FJ we feel a lot safer.

I needed some same day work done, called Chris and he was more than happy to fit me into his day. Got back to me when he said he would, arrived on time, had all his supplies and was quick and pleasant! Kinda a goofy personality but really knows his stuff. I will definitely be calling him again if I need something done!

They put in my cool air whole house fan today. They were very respectful, completed the job quickly and quietly, cleaned up after themselves, and explained how to use the new system. I would definitely recommend this company.

We have used Good News Electric for several jobs both big and small, installing a very large ceiling fan, installing a living room tv with the wires hidden out of sight through a wall conduit, and installing lights and electrical sockets and re-routing electrical wiring in the garage for a drywall job! Miguel and Angel have done the work every time with speed and efficiency and always leaving everything clean and looking and working great! Miguel has always given a fair, detailed and accurate quote for the work before hand, and always delivered!

This company is very professional. They are honest, on-time, courteous, clean and efficient. We had a few minor repairs done, and a fan installed. They brought everything to the current code for us. Our under-cabinet kitchen lights had been out for several years. We really missed the look they provided and had tried replacing the small 2- pronged bulbs to no avail.  Steven found it WAS actually only a bulb problem and replaced all 10 bulbs and tightened the fixtures. We recommended them to a neighbor who was also thrilled. Their pricing is fair and they make recommendations to help get everything accomplished in one visit.

I had electric 24 install a couple of ceiling fans, they we're very fast, and very friendly. They did an outstanding job...

They might be great at installing charger, outlet...etc, but no luck I could never experienced it.  It shows in here that they're 100% response rate within 3 hours.  So I've expected they communicate with customer in here quite often.  I was wrong.  After I sent my quotation request, I waited for a couple days and the only message replied was please provide a phone number.  I replied back explaining my situation that it was more convenient to communicate in here.  Then I never heard them back.

These guys were great!  Joel was able to send someone over next day. Dennis added two new circuits in my garage, for an in-Home-Salon.  So far this is working perfectly; running a blow dryer and two heaters at the same time. No more tripped breakers.  
Dennis was very personable and work was Clean.  I would definitely call them again for any electrical work needed at my properties.

Rudy Rodriguez  is an electrician who knows what he is doing, does an excellent job and will travel if needed. After paying a technician from United Plumbing & Heating for replacing a breaker that was never replaced and was not the cause of the problem, Rudy fixed the problem and helped me confront the owner about the dishonest technician and get my money back.  Rudy is personable and extremely honest and I highly recommend him to anyone in need of electrical help.  It is extremely rare these days to find a business/owner this honest and humble.  This one is a blessing and a true angel on earth.

STAY AWAY!!!  The saying birds of a fleather flock together has been verified after my experience with my kitchen contractor recommending Tony from Brite Electric.  They both did a number on me.  

My kitchen cabinet installer, who butchered my cabinets and admitted he had no idea how to do Ikea cabinets after having said he just did an Ikea kitchen the week before, recommened Tony to do the electrical for the kitchen as I needed new outlets and wiring.  At that point  I didn't know the kitchen guy was a hack, and I was on a tight timeline so I went with Tony even though his price was high.  He comes across as being very sharp and personable.  I suppose those are the ones you have to be careful of.

Tony charged me $1500 to wire up most of the kitchen.  The job took his employee James about 4-5 hours as most of the walls were open so he could do things pretty easily.  Here are the issues that arose:

1) They used 8 gauge wire for a 50 amp cooktop.  Per CA code a 50 amp appliance requires 6 gauge wire.  This is a big no-no.  It really is pathetic as the thicker gauge would have cost maybe $30 more.

2) They used a 8 gauge 2 conductor wire for the oven, when it requires a 8 gauge 3 conductor wire.  Per CA code if you had existing 8-2 wire you could reuse it, but it is much safer to use 8-3 and it is a code requirement when wiring new.  Again, they cheaped out.  This would have cost maybe $15 more.  They probably just didn't have any with them and figured I would never know.

3) They used a 50 amp breaker on a 30 amp appliance (over).  This defeats the whole point of having a breaker and is a serious problem.

4) They left a mess everywhere.  When they drilled through joists they didn't bother to vacumn anything up.  They even left their Jambu Juice cup from lunch.

5) They did not patch or cover any of the drywall holes they made.  This is unacceptable for the amount I paid and they never told me otherwise.  I then had to pay the kitchen contractor $150 to patch some drywall holes.  I think it was a total scam between them.

6) Most of the outlets were not lined up and visually off.  I had to pay somebody else to move them later.

7) The price!  I paid what amounted to probably $300/hr.   What is worse his original quote was $2100.  I'm such an idiot.

Here is where it gets fun.  After I discovered that his job was totally subpar I called to figure out a resolution.  At first he totally rebuffed me and said everythign he did was to code and he works on million dollar homes as does the same thing (this means this was not a one-off but he does illegal work regularly).  After I very specifically pointed things out he offered to send me a small amount of money.  I then told him there were more issues than I even previously knew about and the amount he was offereing was inssuficient.  At that point he stopped responding to me.  

BBB, contractor's board, and small claims court here I come!  If anbody has any questions about this review feel free to contact me.

OMG!!! This company is phenomenal!  We had to update our old radiant ceiling heating system and were at the end of our budget. We had totally remodeled our home and spent enough money as it was. Then we had to deal with bypassing the old system and having electric box heaters installed into the walls in 4 rooms. Scary as they would need to cut into the walls to do this.  After 5 other bids from local Electricians that would come out and ask us electrical questions we could not answer (which honestly scared us off) or saying they could probably do the the job) we found Service Rite Electric. They came out right away, told us what needed to be done and what type of power our system could support. They had an estimate in writing to us within the hour via email and came out the next day to do the work. They were finished in 2.5 hours and not one bit of mess! The new wall heaters looked gorgeous and work perfectly and since they finished in half the time, they took off $350.00 dollars!! Yes I definitely recommend this company! Fair, fast and friendly.

Lucian came out and did 4 canned lights in my daughter's room.  He did a great job and was very professional.

This is the second time I have used Dave and his crew. I was hoping the first time was not an anomaly. My wife got one of those new jet engine hair dryers that were tripping the breaker all the time. So I called RK for help. Dave came in to size up the job - even took the time to understand the problem so that he could provide an appropriate solution. He quoted the job then took the time to explains the job very clearly so there is no misunderstanding it was almost a college level tutorial on basic electronics.  His crew came in and got the job done, cleans up and very professional. As long as he is in business he will have my business for life. ...I highly recommend RK

Wish I had found you sooner!

We used Anthem to repair a ceiling that collapsed from another vendors repair of our  AC drip pan leak. Gunner responded right away, came out the same day to evaluate and had us back to new within a day.

Very knowledgeable and friendly, we will definitely be using Gunner on future projects.

George and Danny are very reliable persons. They have done work in my home since I bought my home in 2011. From changing all my light fixtures, to putting in new ones and adding ceiling fans in all my living rooms, loft/bedrooms. They are very clean and professional.
