It's Saturday, and it's Memorial Day weekend. A guest accidentally zaps my electricity while running a hair dryer. Circuit breakers look fine, but flipping them on and off doesn't solve the problem.  

Who do you call? Actually, anybody that'll answer. I called other highly rated Yelp-recommended companies, but they all bailed and weren't around for the weekend. I called up Kevin, it was already almost 5pm, and he answered and said he can come right over.

He diagnosed the problem methodically and within a half hour had everything back up and running again. He was courteous, pleasant, and very knowledgable (I think he's been doing this since 1976). Highly recommended when you need someone who knows his stuff in a pinch.

Hank is an amazing handyman. He is friendly, very fair in his pricing, and his work is impeccable.

Hank installed 5 ceiling fans, 2 outdoor post lights, and 2 vanity lights all in one day. He worked diligently and always consulted me if he saw potential issues. Hank is also a very good problem solver.

Had them over for a few jobs now over a few years, today the most recent.  I've never posted review before but felt compelled to.  Brandon is what you always hope for from any repair crew.  Each time, they've been on time,  prompt,  very competent at  reasonable cost , and cleaned up afterward.  Couldn't ask for more!

Great communication, prompt, and professional. Helped me try to diagnose my problem before coming over, but was quick to solve the problem when he arrived. Highly recommended!

After years of various electrical issues and numerous service calls from other electricians, who never took the time to identify, much less fix our issues (they only added more electrical issues due to their incompetency), we lucked out when our bathroom contractor called Tim. He quickly figured out the issues with our large Carmel Valley tract home, and straightened out the electrical mess left by the other electricians. He also did a beautiful job on the install of lights and fans in our new bathroom. It is a breadth of fresh air to know that there are still business owners who take pride in their business, don't cut corners, are reliable, professional and efficient.   He is now our ONLY electrician.

We needed some electrical work. We chose Sam because of his excellent reviews on Yelp. His reputation is well deserved -- he did what he said he would do, right on schedule! He relocated ceiling lights in our kitchen, added more, removed one ceiling fan and installed a new one, and wired a smart dimmer for our patio lights. All dry wall cuts were patched and matched to perfection, too. He insisted that our satisfaction was all that mattered and we could not be more delighted!

Dejan is reliable and knowledgeable!  He wired my master bathroom during my complete remodel. He was thoughtful about helping me figure out how to move things around to make them work. He completed the job and was open to do some additional electrical work I needed!  If you need a great electrician hire him!!

I couldn't be happier with the great servic that I received from Brandon and Jerry. They did beautiful work (recessed ceiling lights, pendant lights and new dimmer switches). Not only was the work expertly done but the price was fair and I didn't feel like I was getting taken to the cleaners when it came to prices. These guys really know their stuff too. I will 100% use them again and have already recommended them to my neighbors. A+

Aaryn showed up in a mask and a bit early.  He was amiable and knowledgable.  He was able to fix my bathroom exhaust fan (yea, didn't need to replace it).  He also set up my Ring doorbell for me.  His prices are reasonable, and I will definitely use him again.

I've used Christian on two occasions for plumbing and minor electrical repairs. He has been thorough and professional.

greg is top notch. i called yesterday, he showed up today right on time, and fixed a circuit of dead electrical outlets and lights. fast, efficient, and a methodical troubleshooter. the price was really fair as well. highly recommend.

Boudy, Elie, and Tony were easy to work with and did a great job on the installation of my Tesla wall charger.  They were flexible with rescheduling the install when the Fedex delivery ETA of the charger changed, did the install on a weekend, and arrived exactly when scheduled.  When I needed to change the original planned wall mount location due to tight parking in the garage, Boudy came over to evaluate the longer wiring run and make sure he gave me an accurate estimate.  Tony and Elie fixed the door on the outside breaker panel that hasn't closed completely since we moved into the house 20 years ago at no extra charge even though that wasn't part of the original job.  I'll be using their services for any electrical work I need done in the future.

I am so happy with CYDD's work. I recieved several quotes and CYDD was by far the most affordable for the scope of work. I had a Level 2 Charger installed in my garage and he had to run power pretty far down my wall. His work was clean and executed perfectly...even when I rushed him a little. Permits were pulled super quick! Very happy. Will definitely call CYDD for all of my electrician needs.

Johnny has been great. Helped me with a TI project I was working on. Good prices and service. He's not much of a chatter box which is nice but he sure does get down to business.

We used Stay Grounded Electric and were very pleased. He came out, gave us a quote and put us on the schedule immediately. The guys who came out and did the work were professional and very experienced. I only have positive things to say, we will definitely be using them in the future.

Yesterday we called around for an electrician to see if they could stop by the house for an electrical issue we were having.  Andy said he could make time the very next day which we were very pleased with.  He then called the day of to confirm we still wanted him to come. He was prompt, professional and very fair in his pricing.  We will use him again for some other projects we have in mind.

We recently asked the Ramona Chamber of Commerce for a recommendation for a local electrician, and we were provided with Sunnydale's name.

My husband gave them a call last week to get an estimate for running 220 for our new electric water heater.  Dan and Matt came out to our house on time, and had a low-key no pressure attitude.  They were a little slow getting their estimate to us, but that's not unexpected with a small business.

Dan and Matt came back yesterday to do the work.  They were hardworking, efficient, and cleaned up nicely.  The price came in a bit lower than the estimate, which was very comparable to what another company bid and it was nice doing business with a local company endorsed by the Ramona Chamber.

We haven't used the outlet yet so might have to wait for the 5th star :)
