It's Saturday, and it's Memorial Day weekend. A guest accidentally zaps my electricity while running a hair dryer. Circuit breakers look fine, but flipping them on and off doesn't solve the problem.  

Who do you call? Actually, anybody that'll answer. I called other highly rated Yelp-recommended companies, but they all bailed and weren't around for the weekend. I called up Kevin, it was already almost 5pm, and he answered and said he can come right over.

He diagnosed the problem methodically and within a half hour had everything back up and running again. He was courteous, pleasant, and very knowledgable (I think he's been doing this since 1976). Highly recommended when you need someone who knows his stuff in a pinch.

Hank did an outstanding job. He guarantees his work as well. Would definitely recommend him to friends and family.

AJS Electric was wonderful.  He was thoughtful, careful, gentle, read instructions immediately and worked well with my landscape architect figuring out how to install a stainless box for my new garden lighting timer.  He came quickly, was prompt, cleaned up after himself and his pricing was very fair.  I highly recommend him.

Ehrlers Electric was great to deal with.  They made quick work of a home EV charging station.  Their price was very fair and the work was fantastic.  I will use them again!

One of the most professional electricians I have ever seen. Very respectful, communicative, and knowledgeable. Mr. M suggested multiple solutions first for me to fix it on my own and decided to visit me after I tried them. He arrived on time and fixed the problem in a timely manner. Pricing was very reasonable compared to the other shops. I would 100% recommend him without hesitation to all my family and friends!

I wish I could write a better review for these guys, they came recommended by a friend, and were very friendly, but I'll explain briefly why I wasn't particularly pleased with the service.
I called Rudolph to get a couple of non-functional outdoor outlets up and running again. In fairness, the outlets weren't functioning because of some wiring my father-in-law did last year that was the cause of the problem. In any event, after getting Tim to come out on Saturday morning at 10am, he found the problem within about 10 minutes, and explained to me what he'd need to do to fix it. He took  off to Home Depot to get parts, and was back fairly quickly. He noted to me though on the way in that he was going to hustle through the job because he had a funeral to go to around noon. I didn't think anything of it, banking on the fact that he was a professional and that the job would be done and done right before he left. That didn't happen. What DID happen was this. After about 45 minutes, he asked me to come back and look at the 2nd outdoor cover he was going to install (having taken care of the first one with little trouble), whereupon he noted that he didn't have screws long enough to accommodate the cover. He'd have to get them from a specialty hardware store, and gave me the name of the store because Home Depot and Lowes didn't carry such an item., which wasn't true - I went to Home Depot and found 4 screws with toggle bolts for $1.98 that worked just fine. Then he gave me two options: he could either a) come back another time (leaving the job unfinished) and take care of it or b) I could find the screws myself and take care of it, which as I said, I did. I conceded that I didn't want to wait until he could be available again and would just do it myself.
Long and short is that I paid $285.00 for 1.5 hours of work, some of which I had to do myself. Also, Tim was apparently in such a hurry that he failed to replace the breaker cover panel on the breaker box before he left. Not a big deal, but unprofessional. Just left me shaking my head.
Again, if you read all my other Yelp reviews, they're 5 stars. I just felt like I was little more than an inconvenience for Rudoplh/Tim this morning, and now I wish I had waited for my regular electrician (who was booked out several weeks). I won't make that mistake again.

UPDATE: I had a conversation with Katelin at Rudolph after I wrote this review, and I explained to her that after a week or so, the outlets that had been repaired were not functioning. Wasn't anything simple either, reset the GFCI, reset the breaker, didn't help. Katelin agreed to offer a partial refund, to which I acquiesced. I received a check yesterday which offset the financial inconvenience a little (not a full refund, which I wasn't expecting, since two outdoor outlet boxes were installed), which is why I'm bumping this up from 2 stars. I appreciate that Rudolph at least made a concerted remedial effort. Not all businesses would do that.

Sam is a wonderful handyman. He has been working at our house off and on for various projects and his crew always does a great job. We've had painting, roof repair, drywall repair, lighting installed, dimmer switches installed...a lot and it's always been done well. Highly recommend this service.

Dejan is reliable and knowledgeable!  He wired my master bathroom during my complete remodel. He was thoughtful about helping me figure out how to move things around to make them work. He completed the job and was open to do some additional electrical work I needed!  If you need a great electrician hire him!!

Jerry and his team were really very responsive and did an amazing job with minimal damage to the dry walls . He didn't rush up on anything . He took time and did an excellent job at a reasonable price . I would definitely recommend them .

Highly recommend Aaryn of ACM and sons electric. He is professional, courteous, and service is reasonably priced. He is knowledgeable and quickly and safely resolved an outlet issue.

Had Christian replace some insulation foam and fix some corbles. Replies in a timely manner.  Shows up as scheduled. Friendly and easy going. He stands by his work.

He does a wide variety of repairs and remodeling.  Highly recommended.

I had Greg come in again. First time was for my house and second time for my salon. I'm super satisfied! He is very helpful and wasted no time to put up my chandeliers and track lights and made the place sparkle! Will definitely always be using Greg for any electrical service I may need in the future.

These guys were awesome! Called on a weekend and guys were out the next day to fix my breaker that blew. Super thankful for the quick response and quick fix. Will without a call these again next time something comes up. Thanks guys!!!

This company is legit. I had them come and install a NEMA 14-50 and 50 amp circuit breaker for my electric vehicle. They did a great job and were very fair on the pricing.  Almost 1/2 the cost of everyone else I contacted. I strongly recommend these guys for any job.

The only electrical company I will use. Reliable, prompt response, great work, very detailed about their work. Been impressed since I first used their services a year ago, still depend on them for all my electrical issues

Tommy is one of the most reliable contractors I have met. Prompt, good attention to detail and really reliable. I can't recommend Stay grounded enough.

Showed up promptly to give an estimate, came to do the work when scheduled. Did the work as discussed without issues. Worked with me to schedule around other trades. Would use them again and would highly recommend.

He has done several electrical upgrades to our home and we couldn't be happier with the results.
