It's Saturday, and it's Memorial Day weekend. A guest accidentally zaps my electricity while running a hair dryer. Circuit breakers look fine, but flipping them on and off doesn't solve the problem.  

Who do you call? Actually, anybody that'll answer. I called other highly rated Yelp-recommended companies, but they all bailed and weren't around for the weekend. I called up Kevin, it was already almost 5pm, and he answered and said he can come right over.

He diagnosed the problem methodically and within a half hour had everything back up and running again. He was courteous, pleasant, and very knowledgable (I think he's been doing this since 1976). Highly recommended when you need someone who knows his stuff in a pinch.

I have worked with quite a few contractors and handymen recently, I called Hank for electric work at my house and I was truly pleased by the customer service, responsiveness and the care he took to complete a few of our tasks including fan replacement, new light connection installation, new lights and replacement lights.
He had clear knowledge of what he was doing and his pace of work was most definitely faster than others, not to mention an amazing person to chat with as well.
Highly recommend Hank for electric work and I'm sure he will do great for other handyman work. He is the first person I'll call for all future work at my home.

Happy! We had Robin & Bart out today to install an outdoor light by our garage where there hadn't been one, & they did a beautiful job. They also installed two recessed lights to replace the fluorescent light in our laundry room, & replaced our ceiling fan in the family room & added a wall remote. As an extra-added bonus, Robin was willing to get back up on the ladder at the end of the job to raise our foyer light. What a great team! We are having them come back to do under cabinet lighting in the kitchen. Feeling happy to find a trustworthy electrician. Thank-you, Ehlers Electric!

I did not hire 'Sam I am Handyman Services'.  He quoted me a price that was outrageously expensive.  I do not know if that is his normal price of if he just did not want this job, but I am not going to hire someone for 3 times the going price.

Dejan is an extremely professional, reasonably priced, and a diligent worker.  He installed landscape lighting in her backyard, as well as fixed some electrical issues caused by our pool construction.  I would highly recommend Dejan for any of your electrical needs.  He is the best!

They arrived right on time. They not only checked my outlet, they evaluated the hot tub to make sure it was configured for 120v. They told me what circuit my hot tub was on and how much power my hot tub draws.

They replaced the outlet and put it in a box so the sprinklers don't spray it and short out my hot tub. When they left, my hot tub was working and they fixed it in a way that it won't break again. This is my third try fixing a brand new hot tub. It worked for a short time and then it was time for a service call.

Carlos and team did an excellent job upgrading our panel to 200 amps.  He also completed additions of additional outlets outside and a junction box for a ring floodlight camera.  Although the job took an extra day then estimated, he came the next day and completed the work making sure it was a quality job.  We called Carlos out a few weeks later to hang a chandelier above the stairwell.  Again he did an excellent job.  Both jobs were priced reasonably.  I highly recommend CYDD Electric.

My friend recommended Adam.  I had him replace my OG thermostat with an Ecobee smart one, install my Ring, and was kind enough to move a high cable outlet lower with my other plugs.   He even patched the hole and textured it.

I'm responding to the ceiling fan review. We did install one of the blades upside down but the colors were similar and neither we nor the customer saw it at first. We returned to flip the blade as soon as we heard and we apologized. The remotes all synced to each other when we set them up. We spent an hour trying to get them independent but we couldn't.  The owner replaced the remotes and when we installed them they all worked independently. We charged for the return because the new remotes proved it wasn't our fault. The ceiling fans were balanced when we left. She never asked us to come back to rebalance. I can understand the customer's frustration but we can't be responsible for manufacturing problems or poor quality fans.
