It's Saturday, and it's Memorial Day weekend. A guest accidentally zaps my electricity while running a hair dryer. Circuit breakers look fine, but flipping them on and off doesn't solve the problem.  

Who do you call? Actually, anybody that'll answer. I called other highly rated Yelp-recommended companies, but they all bailed and weren't around for the weekend. I called up Kevin, it was already almost 5pm, and he answered and said he can come right over.

He diagnosed the problem methodically and within a half hour had everything back up and running again. He was courteous, pleasant, and very knowledgable (I think he's been doing this since 1976). Highly recommended when you need someone who knows his stuff in a pinch.

I had an issue with kitchen plumbing during a weekend and Hank came right away.  When he entered, he put on his shoes cover on without me even asking. He explained what he was doing and why he was doing every step of the way. Hank is fair with his pricing, quick and clean. I would recommend Hank to anyone and I will definitely give my business to him again. Thank you, Hank!

AJS Electric was wonderful.  He was thoughtful, careful, gentle, read instructions immediately and worked well with my landscape architect figuring out how to install a stainless box for my new garden lighting timer.  He came quickly, was prompt, cleaned up after himself and his pricing was very fair.  I highly recommend him.

Brandon and his team are exceptional. They quickly understood what I needed and where ready to get started. Ehlers Electric (Brandon) installed canned lighting in three bedrooms, updating electrical outlets and even moved TV cable for us. Brandon and is team listened to what we needed, provided excellent advice to ensure we got great lighting coverage. I would definitely strongly recommend Ehlers  Electric for your electrical needs.

Mr Yoo is a great guy, fabulous tech. Easy going guy that knows his profession. He leaves a little mess behind but I don't mind because he delivered on all the goods.

He installed a dedicated breaker for my electric car charger, and my work space in the garage. I look forward to hiring Mr Yoo in the future.

We had Sam quote us first for stair work. He had the best price but beside the price, he was very professional and reliable. The stairs turned out great and he made sure it was exactly as we requested. I highly recommend Sam and his services and we're already looking forward to reaching out to him again for another project.

Dejan is an extremely professional, reasonably priced, and a diligent worker.  He installed landscape lighting in her backyard, as well as fixed some electrical issues caused by our pool construction.  I would highly recommend Dejan for any of your electrical needs.  He is the best!

I couldn't be happier with the great servic that I received from Brandon and Jerry. They did beautiful work (recessed ceiling lights, pendant lights and new dimmer switches). Not only was the work expertly done but the price was fair and I didn't feel like I was getting taken to the cleaners when it came to prices. These guys really know their stuff too. greg is top notch. i called yesterday, he showed up today right on time, and fixed a circuit of dead electrical outlets and lights. fast, efficient, and a methodical troubleshooter. the price was really fair as well. highly recommend.

I needed to install an 3 prong outlet by my toilet for an electric bidet; Carlos was able to provide me an estimate with just pictures. From there, we were able to schedule an appointment. He came with another person and they found the most efficient way to install the outlet. They were complete with the job in roughly a hour; definitely would use them again for any electric needs.

I do not have enough good things to say about Le and his company. I've used other electricians in the past and, much like anything else, it is hard to find a good balance between paying outrageous prices provided by the bigger local companies and using the guy willing to do it on the low, but likewise does sloppy work.

Le certainly does not fit into either of these categories. He does high-quality work for an honest price. At this point Le has done several electrical jobs for me at my house, including: recessed lighting in my office, rerouting our microwave breaker (which was hooked up to several other outlets and lighting for some reason), grounding and replacing a bad external GCFI, among other things.

In one case, Le underestimated the cost and time for a project, but honored his quote none the less. If nothing else, I appreciate honesty and quality work, which I know I will get both from him - which I is why I am and will continue to be a return customer.

As a word of caution, he is a one-man shop, so be patient as he gets very busy sometimes. If you hire him to do your work, rest-assured it will be done right.

I reached out to Castle Electric to have a Nest wired doorbell installed when our house wasn't wired for any doorbell at all. Adam was so nice, professional, and came out that same day, as he was nearby on another job to give me a quote. He was knowledgeable and courteous and we had him install it for us. He ran the wires with the tiniest holes in the wall, which he patched himself - many electricians won't do the patchwork is what I discovered when we called around, and he did an excellent job, and was also neat and tidy and cleaned up after himself. We totally recommend Castle Electric and Adam. We would absolutely use him again!!

I'm responding to the ceiling fan review. We did install one of the blades upside down but the colors were similar and neither we nor the customer saw it at first. We returned to flip the blade as soon as we heard and we apologized. The remotes all synced to each other when we set them up. We spent an hour trying to get them independent but we couldn't.  The owner replaced the remotes and when we installed them they all worked independently. We charged for the return because the new remotes proved it wasn't our fault. The ceiling fans were balanced when we left. She never asked us to come back to rebalance. I can understand the customer's frustration but we can't be responsible for manufacturing problems or poor quality fans.
