It's Saturday, and it's Memorial Day weekend. A guest accidentally zaps my electricity while running a hair dryer. Circuit breakers look fine, but flipping them on and off doesn't solve the problem.  

Who do you call? Actually, anybody that'll answer. I called other highly rated Yelp-recommended companies, but they all bailed and weren't around for the weekend. I called up Kevin, it was already almost 5pm, and he answered and said he can come right over.

He diagnosed the problem methodically and within a half hour had everything back up and running again. He was courteous, pleasant, and very knowledgable (I think he's been doing this since 1976). Highly recommended when you need someone who knows his stuff in a pinch.

Hank was very easy to work with. When I reached out to him on phone he responded quickly and scheduled a site visit to inspect and provide an estimate. He explained all available options and provided us with a reasonable quote.
Hank was on time on the day of work and he was very professional and easy to work with. Hank provided us with an itemized receipt from Home Depot for the items he purchased for the work he did. His work was quick and clean and I am very happy for the work performed today. I will surely use his service in future and refer to my friends.

I used Brandon a couple of years ago and gave Ehlers 5-stars back then.  He came out recently and did some canned lighting for us.  Again, we were very pleased and can't give anything less than 5-stars.

I hired M-Tech to install a 240v circuit from the panel to my garage. I'm extremely pleased with the results.

I recently bought an electrical vehicle, and wanted to upgrade from the 120v charger that it came with to something more powerful. I found myself starting to use the charging stations more often than I'd like, so I decided that it was worth it to install a level 2 EV charger at home. I had a few options, and I decided to future-proof my setup by running 6 gauge wiring, and for ease of installation i wanted a 50 amp breaker and 14-50 outlet for plug and play options. I then decided on a Grizzl-E 40 amp charger and had one shipped.

I had prior work done, but the electrician had moved out of town. He referred me to his old boss, but the guy didn't respond to my message for a couple days, flaked the first time he was supposed to come by and give me an estimate, and then after he did come, he seemed hesitant, said he'd have to run numbers before he could give me a price, and then ghosted me. BTW that was David with Ion Electric. On the bright side, he was able to tell me about how much wiring I'd need, and how/where he would run it, so i went to Yelp.

Obviously I searched for electricians, and focused on reviews with experience in running 240v wiring. I sent detailed messages to a few of them and asked for ballpark figures based on the info i gave them. My first choice just wanted me to call them, and ignored my other messages. No thanks. A couple others were able to give me numbers, so I had a rough idea of what it would cost. Of them, M-Tech seemed like the most reasonable and offered to come by right away to see the project and confirm the estimate. I met Mr. Yoo, he confirmed the measurements, I asked him about adding a ceiling fan, we made an agreement, and scheduled the work.

Mr. Y arrived early with another gentleman and they got right to work. They ran all the conduits through the attic and my garage, installed the breakers and connected the wiring, put in my new ceiling fan, and even mounted my EV charger and confirmed everything was in proper working order. Mr. Y said that I would have to patch a couple of holes in the drywall for the fan, but he was careful with his cutting and was able to reattach the original squares he cut out, so all that was left for me I to do is tape over the cuts, putty over it, and repaint. He and his other worker were even kind enough to install a remote for the ceiling fan AFTER they had already finished installing it, because He recommended that I get one and I forgot I already bought it!

Overall, I'm extremely satisfied and wouldn't hesitate to call him back should the need arise. M-Tech went above and beyond my expectations and was extremely prompt in responding to calls/messages and showing up on time,  which seems to be a rarity for a lot of contractors these days. Thank you for the excellent work!

Dejan is reliable and knowledgeable!  He wired my master bathroom during my complete remodel. He was thoughtful about helping me figure out how to move things around to make them work. He completed the job and was open to do some additional electrical work I needed!  If you need a great electrician hire him!!

I needed 2 pendant lights hung on my porch and  yelped at least 8 electricians, most of which were charging me way more than what I wanted to spend. Elie got back to me quickly and gave me a way more reasonable estimate. He almost didn't have same day availability but made it work and sent Tony to install my lights. Tony was awesome and did an amazing job. I had my pendant lights still in boxes unopened  and Tony saw that one was broken. He waited for me to run to home depot to exchange it and get a matching paint color for him to paint the stucco around my lights. He was very patient and worked in a timely manner. Plus, he cleaned up any mess made. Our porch looks awesome with our new lights!  Elie and his team will definitely be our electricians whenever we need one.

There is no reason to receive multiple quotes from other companies.  Just save your time and go with CYDD electric.  Yesenia (project manager) was very responsive and provided me with all the details and contacts in a very timley manner.  Carlos was very flexible with my schedule and finished the job in one day.  He was very nice, professional, and extremely knowledgable in his field.  Their estimate was unbeatable.  They did a panel upgrade for me from 100 amps to 200.  Carlos also hooked up a disconnect box and fed 3 lines for the range hood, dryer, and central ac unit.  The cut on the panel was so clean that it did not cost much to repair for the stucco services. I highly recommend them.

MacGray Electric is awesome! I've only spoken with Glenn MacGray by phone but, yesterday, I had the pleasure of meeting Bryan. Bryan is friendly, professional, expeditious and generous with his knowledge. He gave me several suggestions for fixing a few items myself (which I really appreciated). He came by our beach house to repair some bad outlets and run power to a new garage door opener. While he was onsite, he conducted a thorough inspection for us and found several dead outlets. He repaired these quickly and, cleaned up. Their work is great, their prices are fair and they're nice people. Adam at Castle Electric just replaced a broken circuit breaker in my very old breaker. He was fast, efficient, friendly and hones. He provided me with very good information on his work. His price was excellent as well. I will definitely call him in the future if I need work, and I will recommend to my friends and family. You can't go wrong by trusting your work to Castle Electric.

I'm responding to the ceiling fan review. We did install one of the blades upside down but the colors were similar and neither we nor the customer saw it at first. We returned to flip the blade as soon as we heard and we apologized. The remotes all synced to each other when we set them up. We spent an hour trying to get them independent but we couldn't.  The owner replaced the remotes and when we installed them they all worked independently. We charged for the return because the new remotes proved it wasn't our fault. The ceiling fans were balanced when we left. She never asked us to come back to rebalance. I can understand the customer's frustration but we can't be responsible for manufacturing problems or poor quality fans.
