It's Saturday, and it's Memorial Day weekend. A guest accidentally zaps my electricity while running a hair dryer. Circuit breakers look fine, but flipping them on and off doesn't solve the problem.  

Who do you call? Actually, anybody that'll answer. I called other highly rated Yelp-recommended companies, but they all bailed and weren't around for the weekend. I called up Kevin, it was already almost 5pm, and he answered and said he can come right over.

He diagnosed the problem methodically and within a half hour had everything back up and running again. He was courteous, pleasant, and very knowledgable (I think he's been doing this since 1976). Highly recommended when you need someone who knows his stuff in a pinch.

I had Hank replace some broken bathroom exhaust fans and some not up to code electrical wiring done by my previous contractor.  Hank not only did great work with very reasonable prices but also cleaned up thoroughly after the repairs.  Oh, did I mention he was so patient that he explained everything he was doing in great detail?  I'm an engineer myself and I learned quite a bit of things from him!

Always on time and always the best price , I've been using AJS for 10 years both commercial and residential and I'll refer him any day .

I am a general contractor here in San Diego.  Brandon and Robin are the greatest.  I can always rely on them to do what they say and get it done when they say it will be done and at some of the best prices in town. I just wanted to give a great review to M Tech Electric. I was without power for three days waiting on my landlord to have someone come out & fix the issue. When I finally realized he wasn't sending anyone, I called M Tech and the owner himself came within an hour of me reaching out. Turns out one of my breakers was jammed. He took a quick look, unjammed it within minutes and was out the door. Moral of the story here:

Me = dumb
M Tech Electric = smart, reliable and nice.

10/10 highly recommend!

Tim did a great job, made sure the aluminum wiring in my new home was spliced safely to the copper wiring and also installing ceiling lights in the bedrooms. He is very professional and is concerned with doing things correctly. Before hiring him, he came our and gave us annaccurate quote and even fixed small things while he was there. I highly recommend him.

Sam diagnosed and fixed a light fixture that had a bad bit of hardware.  He explained what he was doing, was upfront with the price, and was very friendly.  I will use his service again next time an issue pops up that he can help me with.

Dejan is an extremely professional, reasonably priced, and a diligent worker.  He installed landscape lighting in her backyard, as well as fixed some electrical issues caused by our pool construction.  I would highly recommend Dejan for any of your electrical needs.  He is the best!

Jerry and his team were extremely helpful and knowledgeable! They were able to perform the pendant light installation job in less time than expected and charged us the exact quote given. I would hire him again and highly recommend his services to others.

A few months ago, Aaryn installed wired floodlights in the frontyard and driveway. Yesterday, I called him again to troubleshoot a few inoperative kitchen outlets. He found the issue, got the materials, fixed the problem, all within 3 hours. Price is decent, quality work, professional, and down to earth honest. If you want someone reliable and trustworthy, he's your guy.

Christian did a great job installing a water supply line to our new refrigerator. The installation was clean and simple. He explained what he was going to do ahead of time.

I compared pricing and availability. He was responsive during the quote process and on time. Christian is a good communicator throughout the entire process.

We had a short or loose wire in one our circuits and three dead plugs in another room.  We called Greg at Irwin Power and Electric.  What a great guy!!!  He pretty much diagnosed the problems over the phone and spent the time with me to detail what he would do to locate and repair the issues if I wanted to try it myself.  He gave me a rough estimate if we wanted hire him.  Seemed like a reasonable price for the amount of time and effort it would take so we hired him.  Sure glad we did!  He checked every switch, plug and light on that circuit and made a number of minor upgrades in the process.  He eventually found the issue and repaired it along with the three dead plugs.  He was professional, knowledgeable, polite, friendly and reasonably priced.  We would hire him again in a heartbeat!  Thanks again Greg!

I had an appointment with Elie for an estimate and they kept trying to move the time back for what he had scheduled. It didn't work for me so fine we switched it to a different day. No show or call. Elie was nice, but I can't do unreliable. I would not recommend!! Taking my business elsewhere.

Great team!  They were able to do 3 jobs in a single day and the drywall and electrical was flawless.  Highly recommend and very competitive price.  We'll use the CYDD team again in the future.

I do not have enough good things to say about Le and his company. I've used other electricians in the past and, much like anything else, it is hard to find a good balance between paying outrageous prices provided by the bigger local companies and using the guy willing to do it on the low, but likewise does sloppy work.

Le certainly does not fit into either of these categories. He does high-quality work for an honest price. At this point Le has done several electrical jobs for me at my house, including: recessed lighting in my office, rerouting our microwave breaker (which was hooked up to several other outlets and lighting for some reason), grounding and replacing a bad external GCFI, among other things.

In one case, Le underestimated the cost and time for a project, but honored his quote none the less. If nothing else, I appreciate honesty and quality work, which I know I will get both from him - which I is why I am and will continue to be a return customer.

As a word of caution, he is a one-man shop, so be patient as he gets very busy sometimes. If you hire him to do your work, rest-assured it will be done right.

Tommy was not professional whatsoever! After he agreed on a price for his service, he gave me attitude and said it was not worth him coming out for the price that HE agreed to charge me. Then said he was sick and  ignored my follow up text to reschedule. Dude is whack, would not recommend him

I needed an trust worthy electrician To install a Tesla wall connector so called Glenn and right away gave me a reasonable cost estimate. Once i got my Tesla Wall connector called Macgray Electric and next day gave me an appointment. Tom did a great job installing.

Amazing work by Adam! I got 6 canned (recessed) lights installed in my new place. Not only was he competitively priced, but the quality of work and his professionalism was second to none. He also provided very sound advice on the number of lights to use and where to position them. As a cherry on top, he did the drywall patching and completed the entire job much quicker than expected.

If you're looking for a good value with great results from an HONEST contractor for electrical work, look no further. He also met all the HOA's requirements.

As an FYI, I'm typically very critical when it comes contract work and services in general, so kudos to Adam for pleasing a tough customer

We recently asked the Ramona Chamber of Commerce for a recommendation for a local electrician, and we were provided with Sunnydale's name.

My husband gave them a call last week to get an estimate for running 220 for our new electric water heater.  Dan and Matt came out to our house on time, and had a low-key no pressure attitude.  They were a little slow getting their estimate to us, but that's not unexpected with a small business.

Dan and Matt came back yesterday to do the work.  They were hardworking, efficient, and cleaned up nicely.  The price came in a bit lower than the estimate, which was very comparable to what another company bid and it was nice doing business with a local company endorsed by the Ramona Chamber.

We haven't used the outlet yet so might have to wait for the 5th star :)
