It's Saturday, and it's Memorial Day weekend. A guest accidentally zaps my electricity while running a hair dryer. Circuit breakers look fine, but flipping them on and off doesn't solve the problem.  

Who do you call? Actually, anybody that'll answer. I called other highly rated Yelp-recommended companies, but they all bailed and weren't around for the weekend. I called up Kevin, it was already almost 5pm, and he answered and said he can come right over.

He diagnosed the problem methodically and within a half hour had everything back up and running again. He was courteous, pleasant, and very knowledgable (I think he's been doing this since 1976). Highly recommended when you need someone who knows his stuff in a pinch.

Hank is a very knowledgeable pro who is also very hard working. He will go to the store and purchase the parts needed to complete the project. I found his flat rate very helpful.

Always on time and always the best price , I've been using AJS for 10 years both commercial and residential and I'll refer him any day .

Great service

Lost power in master bedroom and all circuit breakers were fine.  Called Brandon at Ehlers and he was out the next day.  He quoted a reasonable hourly rate and had plenty of opportunity to make a long, drawn out diagnosis but he found the problem immediately, replaced an outlet and cleaned up.  Charged me for less than an hour!  Who does that?  If an honest, skilled, and experienced electrician is what you are looking for, you can do no better than Ehlers.

We had some work done on our kitchen back on February, but for some reason, after our recessed lighting was installed, our porch light stopped working. Unfortunately our contractor went MIA on us, so we had to source an electrician and I am so glad I came across M Tech Electric! Mr. Y was early for the job and came ready to work!

To be honest, I was expecting to have to compare quotes before moving forward with service, but after doing the diagnostics scan, Mr. Y was able to fix the problem quickly and with ease! He even identified another issue that could have caused a fire and repaired it as well. Price was very reasonable. I will definitely be storing his number for future use. Thank you for your service!

Dejan is an extremely professional, reasonably priced, and a diligent worker.  He installed landscape lighting in her backyard, as well as fixed some electrical issues caused by our pool construction.  I would highly recommend Dejan for any of your electrical needs.  He is the best!

Jerry did a great job mounting our two TVs. He was very professional,arrived on time to the appointment and listens to your request. He also hid the wires in the wall, as well as installed color changing LED lights around my entertainment system. The outcome was amazing, I have received so many compliments. Our community is in search of an electrician and Aaron agreed to come out to check it out. Well,  I didn't get a confirmation so when I messaged him, his response was that he couldn't come after all due to a bigger job he has. I asked if he could reschedule or to let me know if he is no longer interested and I did not hear back. He ghosted me. I would not want to do business with someone who is unreliable and unprofessional so I'm glad it never worked out.

Had Chris come by today to install a bedroom ceiling fan and install a bathroom faucet. Its been awhile since we contracted his services, but pretty happy with the result.  Price quoted for the work was excellent. He worked quick, efficiently and the final installation looks outstanding.  Second time we've requested his service and can't be happier!

APRIL 2018 UPDATE
I gave Greg Irwin business myself, and also gave him more business with a family member.  That was in 2014 and I don't know what changed, but after 3 phone calls and 3 text messages over a period of several days, I would think common courtesy warrants a return call or text to advise you're too busy and don't have, nor want, the time for another job.  I will not refer Irwin Power and Electric again! I turned to another professional electrician who did an outstanding job with my request, and will be giving a positive review on their company. I got a return call the same day, and an excellent job completed 2 days later.

On my way to appt but definitely worth taking the time to highly rate Greg, Irwin Power & Electric.  I ran into an electrical problem a couple of days ago with one of my outlets, that eventually could have led to a fire, and Greg showed up on time, professional, very nice man, honest and reasonable prices. He fixed the problem and very conscientious with his work.  It's great now having a qualified electrician who I can call when things come up, which they always seem to do  being a home owner.

I called this company to put cameras at my car dealership. They gave me a great price and the work was done in a timely manner with a great quality. Definitely recommended for all my friends

Literally cannot say enough nice things about Carlos. We've had him to our home to do a number of projects and each time he earns every penny. He's done:

-bathroom fans
-recessed lighting
-ceiling fans
-surround sound

You name it, Carlos can do it! He is so kind and polite, he is such a pleasure to do business with. He is also really reliable: when he says he's not leaving until the job is done he means it! And all with a smile on his face.

Added bonus- he works directly with a drywall repair and paint guy named Gabriel so as Carlos opens walls to do electrical Gabriel follows right behind him patching and painting so your installs are done and presentable same day! Can't express how much value that adds to the experience of working with CCYD.

We have more projects planned for our house in the future and there is no one I'd rather call than Carlos.

I had a plumbing leak above a light fixture in my laundry room. I was unable to get my usual electrician to come out to remove the ceiling light fixture. I looked on Yelp and found Glen. Glen happened to be available, and arrived in less than an hour. He removed the fixture and opened the ceiling to confirm the location of the leak. He called a plumber, who then arrived within the hour, and agreed to return to install a new fixture. He was a pleasure to deal with, had a professional manner and got the task completed quickly. What a lifesaver! I recommend him highly and will let my neighbors know I had a positive experience.

Excellent service with superior results. I had no idea how important it was to hire the right electrician. I highly recommend booking with these professionals they were able to fix the potentially hazardous problem we had and get it done in a timely manner.

I'm responding to the ceiling fan review. We did install one of the blades upside down but the colors were similar and neither we nor the customer saw it at first. We returned to flip the blade as soon as we heard and we apologized. The remotes all synced to each other when we set them up. We spent an hour trying to get them independent but we couldn't.  The owner replaced the remotes and when we installed them they all worked independently. We charged for the return because the new remotes proved it wasn't our fault. The ceiling fans were balanced when we left. She never asked us to come back to rebalance. I can understand the customer's frustration but we can't be responsible for manufacturing problems or poor quality fans.
