It's Saturday, and it's Memorial Day weekend. A guest accidentally zaps my electricity while running a hair dryer. Circuit breakers look fine, but flipping them on and off doesn't solve the problem.  

Who do you call? Actually, anybody that'll answer. I called other highly rated Yelp-recommended companies, but they all bailed and weren't around for the weekend. I called up Kevin, it was already almost 5pm, and he answered and said he can come right over.

He diagnosed the problem methodically and within a half hour had everything back up and running again. He was courteous, pleasant, and very knowledgable (I think he's been doing this since 1976). Highly recommended when you need someone who knows his stuff in a pinch.

Hank did miscellaneous jobs around the house and did great! Detail oriented, courteous, and reliable. He gave me some advices for the future projects beyond handyman's scope, which was useful and appreciated.

AJS Electric was wonderful.  He was thoughtful, careful, gentle, read instructions immediately and worked well with my landscape architect figuring out how to install a stainless box for my new garden lighting timer.  He came quickly, was prompt, cleaned up after himself and his pricing was very fair.  I highly recommend him.

These guys are great I wife and I just purchased an electric vehicle we don't like a slow charger. I called up the company the day before told him what I wanted they said great I sent them a picture of the device they followed up with me they came to my house talked me through the whole situation fixed my circuit box great personalities if you need someone to come to your house or anywhere that needs any electrical work call them.  I guarantee 100% satisfaction.

Great communication, prompt, and professional. Helped me try to diagnose my problem before coming over, but was quick to solve the problem when he arrived. Highly recommended!

I wish I could write a better review for these guys, they came recommended by a friend, and were very friendly, but I'll explain briefly why I wasn't particularly pleased with the service.
I called Rudolph to get a couple of non-functional outdoor outlets up and running again. In fairness, the outlets weren't functioning because of some wiring my father-in-law did last year that was the cause of the problem. In any event, after getting Tim to come out on Saturday morning at 10am, he found the problem within about 10 minutes, and explained to me what he'd need to do to fix it. He took  off to Home Depot to get parts, and was back fairly quickly. He noted to me though on the way in that he was going to hustle through the job because he had a funeral to go to around noon. I didn't think anything of it, banking on the fact that he was a professional and that the job would be done and done right before he left. That didn't happen. What DID happen was this. After about 45 minutes, he asked me to come back and look at the 2nd outdoor cover he was going to install (having taken care of the first one with little trouble), whereupon he noted that he didn't have screws long enough to accommodate the cover. He'd have to get them from a specialty hardware store, and gave me the name of the store because Home Depot and Lowes didn't carry such an item., which wasn't true - I went to Home Depot and found 4 screws with toggle bolts for $1.98 that worked just fine. Then he gave me two options: he could either a) come back another time (leaving the job unfinished) and take care of it or b) I could find the screws myself and take care of it, which as I said, I did. I conceded that I didn't want to wait until he could be available again and would just do it myself.
Long and short is that I paid $285.00 for 1.5 hours of work, some of which I had to do myself. Also, Tim was apparently in such a hurry that he failed to replace the breaker cover panel on the breaker box before he left. Not a big deal, but unprofessional. Just left me shaking my head.
Again, if you read all my other Yelp reviews, they're 5 stars. I just felt like I was little more than an inconvenience for Rudoplh/Tim this morning, and now I wish I had waited for my regular electrician (who was booked out several weeks). I won't make that mistake again.

UPDATE: I had a conversation with Katelin at Rudolph after I wrote this review, and I explained to her that after a week or so, the outlets that had been repaired were not functioning. Wasn't anything simple either, reset the GFCI, reset the breaker, didn't help. Katelin agreed to offer a partial refund, to which I acquiesced. I received a check yesterday which offset the financial inconvenience a little (not a full refund, which I wasn't expecting, since two outdoor outlet boxes were installed), which is why I'm bumping this up from 2 stars. I appreciate that Rudolph at least made a concerted remedial effort. Not all businesses would do that.

Dejan is an extremely professional, reasonably priced, and a diligent worker.  He installed landscape lighting in her backyard, as well as fixed some electrical issues caused by our pool construction.  I would highly recommend Dejan for any of your electrical needs.  He is the best!

Jerry and his team were really very responsive and did an amazing job with minimal damage to the dry walls . He didn't rush up on anything . He took time and did an excellent job at a reasonable price . I would definitely recommend them .

If you're in the need for electrical work don't hesitate to call these guys! Just got my electrical panel upgraded from 100amp to 200amp and couldn't be happier with the results!

I originally signed up on home advisor to get some quotes and all I got was a whole bunch of bs just so they could try and reel me in. When it came time to get the estimate they would try and nickel and dime me because my lack of knowledge on electrical work. After a few of those a friend referred me to Aaryn and from the second I called he was honest and very professional. His pricing is very reasonable if not the best and his work is excellent! When the inspector came out to check his work he said this is one of the neatest panels I've seen. With that being said I'm definitely calling him back for any future work!

I called Christian to trouble shoot a light that was not working at a rental we have in Poway.  Within 30 minutes he was at the rental, had the electrical switch on his truck and the problem was fixed within the hour.  I will be calling him again soon.  Thanks Christian!

I haven't done business with this company, but I called them in a pinch because another electrician who I've done business with left me hanging. After a few minutes talking and no promise that they would be able to help me today, I got a text with the contact info for another electrician that would be able to help me in the time frame I needed.

So this review is on character and if their work is half as good then 5 stars from me. Thanks again!!!

I wish I could give this business more than 5 stars!!!! After sending out multiple requests for quotes to other companies, Abdu responded almost immediately and he was the only company (out of those that I contacted) that was able to help me out. The issue I needed fixed immediately was a chirping smoke detector, (we all know what that annoyance is and honestly I was about to take a bat to it before Abdu came to my rescue). My appointment was setup fast and in no time at all the problem was solved and peace (and quiet) was restored. Abdu (and his coworker David) were professional, knowledgeable and super nice! I would recommend them and their company in a heartbeat and I fully intended on having them come back for some more electrical jobs. Thanks again Abdu and David for saving the day!!!!

Johnny (Anh Lee) will have your back.  He is out to help solve a problem or do new construction.  He stands by his estimate even when the job takes far more time than planned.  We have used his services three times now and we are very happy.  He does his best to find the safest yet best way to handle your situation.

Stay Grounded Electric did an amazing job installing our EV home charger. Great communication, great price and great clean work. Tommy is super knowledgeable and straight up honest family man. It was a pleasure to have him do our work! We found our new electrician and will recommend him to anyone who asks.

I had a plumbing leak above a light fixture in my laundry room. I was unable to get my usual electrician to come out to remove the ceiling light fixture. I looked on Yelp and found Glen. Glen happened to be available, and arrived in less than an hour. He removed the fixture and opened the ceiling to confirm the location of the leak. He called a plumber, who then arrived within the hour, and agreed to return to install a new fixture. He was a pleasure to deal with, had a professional manner and got the task completed quickly. What a lifesaver! I recommend him highly and will let my neighbors know I had a positive experience.

Adam did an awesome job. He made sure to make as few holes in my wall as possible. The few holes he did make he patched up perfectly. You can't even tell where the holes were. I highly recommend him. Will use him again.

I am extremely happy with this local company and with Dan and Matt!  I built an approximate 1600 sq ft detached accessory building on my Ramona property, to be tied into the power panel about 125 feet from building, which required a trench,etc to code and the installation of wiring and outlets etc into the building.  These guys were hard working, professional, polite, and above all- honest!   They did quality work and the county inspection was a breeze with the inspector complimenting the quality of work they did.  I cannot be happier with the work they did and the work ethic they have, they are great ambassadors to the company.  I have referred them many times already and they will be back to do other work on household improvements and new projects.  Oh, and the work was all done in the midst of record heat here in Ramona, these guys didn't complain or slow down!  I highly recommend!!!
