A-EV Installs was formed in order to give all EV owners an affordable professional electrician to install EV chargers with precision and by the NEC Code book. Couldn't be a happier with A-EV Installs.  Their technicians did an excellent jobs on installing our EV outlets.  They provided excellent customer service and provided professional EV installations for both our outside and inside outlets.  They also installed our subpanel super nicely and neatly done. They pacthed up our dryawalls and cleaned everything up neatly.  We highly recommend A-EV Installs to everyone.  We are very happy with their quality of work and service. I recently used them for the installation of my EV charger and I couldn't be happier with the service they provided. From the initial quote to the final installation, the team was efficient, professional, and made the whole process seamless.

Not only did they provide pricing that was on par with the market, but they went above and beyond in terms of their service. They took care of everything from pulling permits to submitting plans to the city, which made my life a lot easier.

I recently had the pleasure of having them come out and install a NEMA outlet at my house, and I must say, the service I received was great. From start to finish, the electrician displayed a high level of professionalism and expertise, ensuring a seamless and efficient installation process. This is actually the second time A-EV has helped install a 240v outlet for me so I wanted to leave this review for them to show my appreciation. The first time was at our condo where we needed the plug on the other side of the garage where my EV was and they were able to accommodate that and made it look very nice like it always belonged there.
This time we had them install one at our new home and it was so quick and easy.  I actually initiated through Yelp on a Saturday night and Mark replied within hours with some questions about what I needed and was able to schedule an appointment first thing on Monday. In less than an hour Albert, the electrician was finished and even cleaned the area with a broom and dust pan.
I would highly recommend A-EV and would definitely give them a call again if I ever need another outlet installed for an EV charger.

Soon after a call, I had the price point and an install tech confirming a install date for my charger. They were quick, fuss free and straight forward with what needed to be done. Great experience, I called and got a quote to install my tesla wall charger. I also did not know anything about electrical but they explained what I might need so there wasn't any surprises, the staff was friendly and on time. Everything was done quick and professionally. I could not believe the price difference from this company and Trout, Trout wanted to add a subpanel and charge around 3 grand.

After a long research, I ended up with two companies that had the highest rate. The first one, they did not cover the paint/patch (cheaper $300) while A-EV Installs covered everything.

The cool thing was that A-EV Installs gave me an estimate based on my home pictures that I sent them. I did not have to be home. Almost other companies  came to my home for their estimates.

Overall, I am very happy with their service. I did not stay home while they did their job.

Here is my timeline. Hope this will help someone:
10/08/2021: They applied for a city permit and called SCE.
10/19/2021: Replaced the panel.
10/21/2021: City inspected and patched the wall.
10/29/2021: Painted the wall.
11/01/2021: City passed the final inspection.

Great Company, Great Service, and most importantly trustworthy.  I found them on Google and they made everything so easy from scheduling and explaining the process. They had quoted me $475 but once I sent them the pictures of my electric panel, I was told we would need to install another panel since the one I have was not efficient enough and that would cost another $600. I was perfectly fine with it and we proceeded.

The Albert, the tech came out and he was wonderful. Very professional and nice at the same time, explained everything to me down to the last detail. Then when the job was done, he told me he did not have to install the 2nd panel after all, because he figured out a way to make the room in my existing panel. This made me a customer for life with EV Installs. I don't ever write reviews, but had to on this one, they truly deserve it.

Have used them 3 times for installing EV outlets in my garage. They're prompt and responsive. The techs are also nice and always explain what they're doing. They give advice on what can be done realistically (IE, they recommended that I not install an EV box that's 40amp because my main breaker couldn't handle the load... good to know!).  They also seem to value their loyal customers so I will definitely continue to use them for my needs.

It's been awhile since I wrote a review but this  is a must. Mark and his team performed par excellence. I messaged Mark through the Yelp messages and he was always prompt in the response. Price was very good compared to everyone else, service was quick and in order (under 1 hour for Tesla wall connector install + NEMA 14-50 install). There was an issue with the city of Anaheim (FYI as of 2022 the city requires GFCI on their 50A or less breaker such as the NEMA 14-50; California will adopt this statewide Jan 2023. Also, if you live in Anaheim, you qualify for two rebates, each either $400 or $1000 each!) and Mark with his team fixed the issue by putting in a GFCI 14-50 breaker.

They arrived in a clean, well kept van with two people. Everything was done professionally, what more can you ask? I highly, HIGHLY recommend A-EV installs.

I had reached out through Yelp to get a quote for installation of our Tesla wall charger. I was impressed with the owner replying quickly and throughly.

We had been surprised when we got the alert our car was ready two months in advance of when we expected it so I had to find an installer for our charger quickly.

They sent someone the day I requested and he even showed up early. He completed the entire job within 15 minutes! And he even had to run one wire since our builder had left the hookups but failed to do the right wiring/circuit breaker.

Price was reasonable $325 and came with a year warranty.

Electrician was professional, polite and efficient.

Definitely would recommend working with them!

They arrived promptly as scheduled at 8:00am.  They completed installation of a NEMA 14-50 Plug in the garage in less than 1.5 hours.  They cleaned up as they were working.  The price was $1,410 for 55 feet, right about what they quoted.

The quote was completed quickly last week and work was scheduled by the estimator.  I would definitely recommend A-EV.

Trying to get a price quote for NEMA14-50 install right behind electrical box.
Their pricing is $575 for a Generic Brand UtilityTech Nema 14-50 installation (the outlet only cost $30 on amazon). They knew it is cheap and low-quality outlet, so they only offer 30 days warranty on it. $275 for them to pull the permit (cost only appx $60 if owner pull it). The office lady said their pricing is competitive. It is not a big project for electrician. In and out should takes less than 1 hour. It is a good project for home owner to recognize who is the good electrician in the area.

My wife and I were so impressed with their work. We got our Tesla earlier than anticipated so we called A-EV Installs for a quote and asked if they could squeeze us in since we needed our wall connector installed right away. Albert and Brandon came the following morning to install for us and they took only an hour which was exceptional!!! Their work was beautifully done....see photo attached. We couldn't be happier and will use them again for our future needs.

A-EV installed our Tesla wall connector and we are very pleased. I received no BS pricing via Yelp and we set an install time. The electrician arrived on-time and completed the work quickly. I had pre-cleaned the area and made room for the work and he left it spotless. They stand behind their work and gave me a 1yr warranty should I have any issues with the install. I'm now charging at 48A for right at 12kW after hours.

I'm sure other do good work but A-EV is who I'm recommending to all of my friends with new EVs.

I called various installation companies to get a quote to install my charger. I noticed when I called a-ev that I didn't just get a we will give you a call back or someone will contact you like I did with other companies.

It's frustrating to set up multiple appts/calls and time blocks when you have a busy schedule. It seems like these days you are mostly speaking with an automated call or a robot seeming person! With A-ev, I was able to get information based on literally sending a photo was a huge relief! It seems like this process can take very long depending on what company you go with.

I am so grateful that I was able to make an appointment and get a quick turnaround. Not only was it affordable to install my charger but it was time efficient. I also feel like I got a full walk though in general about chargers such as if I ever want to purchase a level 2 charger and what installation costs will look like.

I had A-EV Installs come out and put a 14-50 outlet at my home. The home was pre wired already so the job was rather simple, but the work was done exceptionally by Albert. He also helped me out with further troubleshooting the panel and look at lights to install in my rooms. He was a stand up guy, easy to talk to and knowledgeable in what he was doing. I was having trouble with my existing EV charger, it was frequently tripping the circuit breaker. The electrician was able to diagnose the issue quickly and reconfigured and replaced several circuit breakers. Great service at a fair price.

Highly recommend for your EV charging needs. Mark the owner, was very responsive via Yelp and they have a robust website for uploading photos of your panel and area to get an accurate quote. We were able to get it installed within a few days of initially reaching out. Husband was at home and everything went smoothly and Brandon installed the conduit and NEMA 14-50 plug. A few months later, the heavy duty plug works great and has been keeping the EV happy.

These guys are awesome. I picked them after Googling around since I liked that they specialized in EV chargers. My home is new construction and EV ready and as a result they installed a new Tesla charger in less than 30 minutes.

We needed a NEMA 14-50 outlet installed in our garage. We shopped around with quite a few EV Charger Contractors and found that A-EV Installs gave us the best price. Mark, the owner, was also most informative with what exactly needed to be done with our installation and was very responsive throughout our conversation. Scheduling our appointment with him was quick easy.

Brandon, our electrician, showed up on time, was friendly and professional, and worked quickly and did a great job wiring the 50 amp circuit and installing the NEMA 14-50 outlet. A-EV Installs also have a lot of payment options, which is always nice.

I would definitely recommend using A-EV Installs for your EV charging needs and will recommend them to my friends and family who have or will be getting EVs.

I contacted A-EV to get a quote on installing a Tesla Home Charger in my garage. They were very responsive and clear in communication. Process to send over my needs with photos of my setup was super simple. They were able to get me an appointment within 24hrs due to an opening in their schedule. Adam, Mark and the entire team at A-EV Installs was extremely professional to deal with.  I live in an older condo building that has individual 100 amp breakers and after talking to several electricians, most weren't up to speed on the requirements needed to get a Level 2 EV charger setup.  I found A-EV Installs from Tesla's preferred vendor list and after speaking with Adam on the phone for over 45 minutes, I knew he was well versed in what we needed to do to get a permitted EV charger setup in our building.  Adam's approach was to inform me of all the solutions and provide a no pressure quote.

From the quote, permit handling, communication and installation, A-EV Installs should be your first call when considering this type of set up (I received bids from multiple sources).  Words can't express how clean of an installation they did, but I'm extremely happy with the results and the outlet works perfectly and the permit was signed off the day after the install.

I think 5 stars is a very well deserved rating for the quality of work I received.

These guys were great! I sent out a Yelp quote to several Tesla recommended installers - some ranged as high as $1100 and A-EV Installs came back with a very competitive quote for much less (given that I was within 5ft of the panel). When coupled with the excellent reviews, it was an easy decision.
Adam from A-EV was at my house right on time and completed the work in less than two hours. It requires him to go from the laundry room to the garage, which he did so very neatly, and cleaned everything up afterwards.

I reached out to AEV and others via a Yelp request. While many electricians were responsive A-EV was very professional, prompt to reply, offered a great price, and was flexible with the job specifics as we were still deciding what to do.
Ultimately we decided to install a 240 outlet for my Tesla charger as well as if you dimmer switches throughout the house. The technician who came was courteous, professional, and efficient. There was a small mess left here and there (old screws from previous switch, a little drywall dust) but overall that was not enough to knock it down from five stars I will definitely come back to them for my electrician needs.

I found A-EV Installs here on Yelp and used the message system to request a quote on installing a new Tesla wall connector for my Model Y. We just moved to a new home in Irvine and at first, I thought I could watch some online tutorials and install the thing myself...boy I'm glad I didn't do that. I spoke to Mark who responded really quickly to all my questions, and he set me up with an install appointment right here on the Yelp messages. The installer showed up on time, wearing all the necessary protective gear (mask, etc) and got my wall connector installed with no problem in under and hour. When finished, he cleaned up his work area and I paid the very reasonable flat fee. Such a great price and great service! Will definitely recommend these guys to anyone that needs It!

They were quick to respond and I was able to set up an appointment soon after that. How A-EV Installs saved Christmas

Once upon a time, there was a girl named Cindy, who loved to drive her Tesla. But all Cindy had to recharge her Tesla was a mobile charger, and a 50 amp outlet in her garage, which was both slow and inconvenient. Cindy secretly wished she had a Tesla wall connector charger, but she couldn't afford one.

Well, it was getting close to Christmas, and up at the North Pole, Santa and his elves were hard at work getting ready for Christmas Eve. It had been a long time since Cindy believed in Santa, but Santa hears wishes from children of all ages, whether they believe in him or not. So because Cindy had been a good girl, Santa decided to bring Cindy a wall connector for Christmas, and leave it mounted on her garage wall, wrapped in a shiny red box.

Unfortunately, due to the effects of global warming on the reindeer, polar bears and other North Pole creatures, the power of Santa's magic was very low, and his elves couldn't afford to make any more brand new Tesla wall connectors.

Fortunately though, one of Santa's electrician elves found a new wall connector, from the Island of Misfit Toys, on eBay! It seemed Cindy was going to get her wall connector for Christmas after all. But when it arrived via elf mail to the North Pole, just ONE DAY before Christmas Eve, the elf was horrified to find it had no mounting bracket or screws! (which is probably why it got sent to the Island of Misfit Toys in the first place) The elf called Tesla, and tried to buy a replacement bracket, but Tesla doesn't sell replacement wall connector parts (naughty list for Elon Musk!)

It looked like Cindy's Christmas would be ruined. Without a mounting bracket and screws, Santa wouldn't be able to install Cindy's charger on her garage wall, and because it was so close to Christmas Eve, it was too late for the elves to make another toy for her. That meant Santa wouldn't have a Christmas present for Cindy, which made Santa very sad, because Cindy had been so good, and Santa liked her so much.

But then, the electrician elf got an idea: maybe a company that installs Tesla wall connectors could help! So the elf got back on the phone, and started calling electrical contractors listed on Tesla's installation website, asking if they had any spare mounting brackets Santa could buy. At contractor after contractor, the elf encountered people who just said no, or weren't interested in helping Santa.

But then, the elf called A-EV Installs, and spoke with the owner, Mark Phillips. Mark was very friendly, and agreed to try to help. Mark immediately called around to his employees who were installing Tesla wall connectors, found a spare mounting bracket, then took an hour out of his own personal time to go get it that same day. This friendly, kind, personal customer service was totally different from the grinchy way the elf had been treated by all the other, bigger name installers on Tesla's list.

Using some of Santa's magical flying reindeer dust, the elf went to meet Mark. Mark not only gave the elf the mounting bracket and screws Santa would need to install Cindy's wall connector, but after learning the charger just would be plugged into an outlet (for now), gave the elf an industrial-grade 50 amp outlet to replace the one already in Cindy's garage. Those Leviton outlets have a tendency to melt, Mark cautioned, so we only use these industrial grade outlets in our installations, because they're much better.

Most amazingly, after learning this was a Christmas present from Santa, Mark refused to take a penny of compensation from the elf for the bracket, screws, or the outlet! Instead, Mark offered the elf a job with A-EV Installs. Mark told the elf he had built A-EV Installs from the ground up, only wanted to hire the best electricians, and showed the elf some amazingly neat and clean charger installations A-EV Installs had done. Mark explained that while every A-EV Install had to be done neatly and correctly to code, the most important thing was to always find a way to solve any problem the customer had, and that the elf's friendly personality, and problem-solving skills, were what he was looking for in an A-EV Installs employee. (The elf was very flattered, but told Mark he already had a job at Santa's toy factory, which came with all the Christmas cookies the elf could eat!)

Thanks to the incredible kindness, generosity and customer service attitude of A-EV Installs, Santa was able to leave a beautiful new Tesla charger on Cindy's garage wall for Christmas, carefully wrapped in sparkling red, silver and gold. The elf took some photographs. Cindy was totally surprised, and at first, had no idea where it came from. But eventually, she realized Santa had heard her wish after all, renewing her faith in the magic of Christmas.

And that is how Mark Phillips and A-EV Installs saved Christmas, and earned a spot on Santa's good list.

Amazing. Super quick to provide a quote for our new Tesla 60amp charger. They were half the price of the previous quote I received. Two guys showed up on time the day of the install, they said it would take about 4 hours. They were all wrapped up within 2. Super clean job ran the conduit through the attic and installed the Telsa wall charger securely on the wall. Will be our go-to electricians from here on out. THE BEST. Fernando and Kwan were awesome.

They did a nice job installing our new electric panel, and were responsive when we initially reached out. However, they broke one of our sprinklers on one day, AND whacked a hole right through our wall into our master bedroom while trying to get the old panel out. When it was time to come and repair it, the repair job was absolutely horrible-literally just slapped some spackle over the hole and left. And also, ever since they finished, there's a pipe or something inside that same wall that rattles extremely loudly every time it gets windy. They did what we needed them to do (install a new electric panel and a Tesla wall charger, but not without some pretty egregious errors along the way.

The only thing I regret is not hugging Mark (the owner) at the end of the job.

I hired A-EV Installs to replace my old breaker panel and to install a plug so I could start charging my Tesla at home. Mark went above and beyond during every step of the process starting with the very first phone call. He took his time to fully explain everything and won my confidence right away due to how thorough and how kind he is. I was overwhelmed before I called him because I knew I'd have to get a permit from the city for this project, and by the end of the phone call all of my anxiety was gone and I was looking forward to getting the job done.

The entire project went smoothly, thanks to Mark being so on top of everything with city permits and communicating with me every step of the way so I would know what to expect. He also got everything prepared so quickly! I was impressed.
Once the job was underway, I was equally impressed with the men on his team. They were all hard workers that got the job done the right way while also working quickly. Every single person at A-EV Installs is fantastic at their profession and equally as kind.

The inspection from the city passed without any issues, which was not a surprise to me as I could tell they were doing top notch work. I am thrilled with their work, how smoothly it went, and how well I was treated throughout the process.

I already have a list of things I'd like them to come back out for as I'll be a loyal customer to them from here on out. I'm so glad I found Mark at A-EV Installs. The costumer service and the work ethic with them is the best of the best.
I have already been telling friends and family in the area about A-EV Installs because I know they'll get the same treatment and great work, which is exactly what I want for them. You'll get the same treatment too.

One side note: When I read Yelp reviews I always get a little skeptical when I see a company with such rave reviews (like mine). It always makes me wonder if the company was giving discounts for good yelp reviews or something like that because I've heard of that happening before. A-EV electricians had a cancellation, called to ask if they could arrive early. I said yes, and they were there in no time. They explained the work to be done discussed options with me, and then got to work. The installation went quickly, the area was cleaned up when they finished, and the project looks great. In addition, the final cost was just over have of the original online estimate!!

We had an electrical issue where several outlets on one circuit didn't work.  We received a response almost immediately and Fernando from A-Home Electric came out 2 days later to see what was going on.  He had to schedule another appointment to get in the attic to check to see if that's where the issue was.  Prior to the scheduled appointment we removed a wall unit and noticed the plug had burnt.  Once Fernando and Brendon arrived they determined that outlet was the issue and fixed it within a half hour.  All lights are on!  They are an A-1 operation and recommend them to anyone who has electrical issues.

I used A-EV installs to put a home EV charger at my home after I bought a used Tesla model S.  As with everything I do.  I shopped around to find the best value.  My first call was to Mark and after he spent 15-20 minutes calmy and clearly explaining his process and my options, he said please feel free to get other quotes as I am confident you will come back and be happy with our service and fair prices.  He did and I was!  

One cheap quote I got was from a guy who wasn't liscensed or certified.  No city permit,  no thanks and wouldn't qualify the EV rebates through SCE.  Another was from a guy who quickly spit out info and seemed bothered by many questions.  Hell No!  

As Mark predicted,  I went back to him and was 100% satisfied. Cool guy, articulate and smart.  He gave me several options and I love where we landed.  I saved money on not buying an unnecessary wall unit, he showed up on time, did great work and was very responsive.  He even offered to paint the pipes to match my house if I had the paint!!!  I did and he did.  I highly recommend Mark and his company - Nordstroms level service and product at a N-Rack price!

Saw that A-EV installs was listed on Tesla's site for local electricians in the area and I emailed them for a quote. Steven responded immediately and guided me to how to proceed with photos of the panel and area in the garage where I wanted the Tesla Wall Connector (WC) installed. After getting the quote and costs I proceeded forward and he sent out Mark to complete the wiring and installation for the WC on the other side of the garage. They did a great job of putting in the metal housing to cover the wires and pulled it along the garage door outline to ensure little or no visibility of the extension to the WC.

I even asked them to throw in an extra NEMA outlet installation and they did it on the same day. Very reasonable pricing.

After the installation they even swept up the garage floor and walked me through any of the questions I had. Great customer service and highly recommend for those who are thinking about getting your house ready for EV charging.

We recently got a new electric car and quickly figured out we needed the ability to charge at home. We called A-EV install and from the start they made us feel comfortable that they knew what they were doing. They came out to look at the location and gave us a quote. A few days later they came out and did the work. They were clean, courteous and did a great job. They pulled the permit for us and followed up to make sure the inspection passed. Just had A-EV come out and complete a Tesla Charger install. They did a fantastic job.  The did a complete estimate via photos prior to coming out which was very convenient.  The estimate was less than most and the completed job was $145 less than the estimate.  The electricians were very professional and cleaned everything up afterwards such that it was cleaner than before they arrived.  I highly recommend them for EV Charger installs.  Great work!  Now I'm just waiting for my Tesla to arrive!

A-EV Installs did a great job installing a NEMA 14-50 outlet in my garage. The process of contacting them through Yelp was painless. They respond to your queries quickly. I don't know what happened to Mark but when I used him the first time he was pleasant, helpful and did a great job hooking up my electrical needs.  I tried him again in my new place and told him specifically what I needed.  He did not come out to do an estimate just decided on the phone what price he would charge.  When his guys came out they took longer than Mark anticipated and were late for the next job.  Mark got irate on the phone with me saying he didn't know it was going to take this long and that the guys were not going to finish nor come back.  I asked why he was mad at me, I didn't change the order or add anything more to the job.  I think he was just mad that he misquoted the job because he didn't bother to come and look at the space where I wanted the the outlets installed.  I would have paid any overage and told him so but by this time he was so frustrated that he said I'm not charging you and I'm not coming back

On a blustery day half of our lights went off downstairs & we were not sure if we had blown a fuse or something else was amiss.

I hired this company to install a Tesla Wall Connector for my new Model 3. They were so impressive.

Their website is professional and informative and getting a quotation from them was easy. I also got quotes from other companies and AEV was competitive. Communications throughout were quick and professional.

My experience with Mark at A-EV Installs has been terrific. I contacted them to install a level 2 charger for our car and Mark and his company took care of everything from permitting to installation, left the place clean and even followed up to make sure that we were satisfied.

Fernando and his crew did an amazing job - Needed a Tesla Wall Connector installed along with a new 60 amp circuit. I called and then emailed them information about the job, and had A-EV handle all the permit application and inspection scheduling. On the day of the install Fernando and his crew arrived promptly on time, and completed the work in a couple hours. Everyone on the job wore masks and kept social distance. Later in the afternoon, the local inspector showed up to check out the work, and a technician from A-EV was there to meet the inspector and handle the entire process. Once finished, I received the permit paperwork for my records. Flawless experience.

Had a 240v NEMA 14-50 outlet installed and the process was smooth from start to finish.

They replied to my Yelp quote request quickly and after I sent them some picture and some more information via e-mail, they started the permit process and scheduled an install date. The guys arrived on time to start the job.

Our panel is on the back corner of the house opposite the garage, so I was anticipating the need to run pipe quite some distance and around the house. They were able to go through the attic and out the side, which ended up being aesthetically much better than I thought it would look. They dropped off the permit papers with instructions and I called my city for the inspection.
Inspector told us everything was good and that it was a clean installation.

Cost was in line with what I was quoted, even perhaps slightly less given the distance from the breaker to the outlet.

Very satisfied and would recommend A-EV wholeheartedly!

This company did a stellar job of helping from the very beginning to the very end. I recently took delivery of my Model 3 and I was in the market for a charger. I found them on Tesla's recommended electricians in my area. So I went to their website to start up the process, I sent in pics as they requested. After that, they took care of everything from installation to permit. The city was a little behind on permits, but A-EV install still did the installation and picked up my permit the following day. These guys kept me updated on every step of the way during the installation to permit to inspection. I recommend them to any one who is looking for electrical work. According to the city inspector the conduit should have been painted the same color as the house. Never happened, never mentioned by them. Drilled a big hole in the wrong spot and sealed it off with some kind of white compound. Solar installers actually helped paint both.

I've worked with many contractors, subcontractors, and electricians, and I cannot recommend Mark and Steven highly enough.

I had just a simple receptacle upgrade, but Steven still treated me like I was their only customer. He communicated quickly and efficiently, and had me text a few photos to ensure that he was able to get me an accurate quote over the phone. Their pricing was extremely competitive (I called 3 other electricians). He also got me in on their tight schedule the day after I called!

The owner, Mark, came out to do the actual work. He was super friendly, very thorough, informative, and shared funny stories of how not to treat expensive electrical equipment.

I've been told that when it comes to contractor jobs, you can only pick 2 of the following -- fast, cheap, and good. Now I have proof that you can get quick service, a great price, and high quality.

I needed to install 2 Tesla chargers in my garage as I was getting tired of going to the Superchargers.  Contacted A-EV Installs and spoke to Steve and Mark about how I wanted it done. Mark thoroughly explained to me what my options were and got a quote right over the phone. We schedule an appointment a couple of days later for the install.

On install day, Mark and Adam showed up with my permits ready to go. They went to work right away and a couple of hours later, it was all done. They did a fantastic job installing both chargers and the install looks very clean. After install, I didn't have the car to test it out as my wife took it out but Mark explained to me that I shouldn't have any problems with it. I trusted him and sure enough when I tested it, it worked flawlessly.

I scheduled for the inspector to come out the next day and got it signed off right away after he checked the panel to make sure the correct wire gauge were used.  It is such a relief having a charger at home now since I don't have to sit and wait in line to charge my car.  Call them if you need to install any EV charger at home.

I highly recommend A-EV Installs.  I contacted them to instal my Tesla wall charger.  After reviewing my existing panel I unfortunately needed to upgrade my panel.  They worked with the city, did what they promised and charged a very reasonable fee for their work.  The city inspector told me they did great work and he could tell they cared about their work product.  
The panel upgrade improved our home's electrical output and increased the wall Chargers output so I can charge faster.

I wanted a company with lots of experience installing EV chargers for cars. I also wanted a company that was licensed, bonded and insured. I got both items with A-EV Installs. We were able to do a virtual estimate with pictures which was actually quite easy and setup an install appointment. The electricians arrived on time and were very nice. They installed a 240 volt, Level 2 NEMA 14-50 Chargepoint EV charger in about 3 hours because I have a 4 car garage. They did an excellent job and the process went very smoothly. The electricians stayed to make sure the charger worked properly. I am a completely satisfied customer. So, if you want an electrician and a company with the expertise to manage this type of electrical installation, you need A-EV Installs to do the work.

Let me tell you, Mark was a godsend. And, I don't mean that to exaggerate either.

I have been waiting a month for our contractors to even begin the demolition and installation of our new kitchen, and to find out at the end of a business day that we needed an electrical outlet cancelled (a smaller job than the usual) before the contractors can even continue their work, it was too late to call anyone, and I would have to wait another week for the kitchen to keep going!

I made different calls to different electricians, including our usual go-to guy, but none of them can come out past 5pm. Luckily, Mark answered the call. He checked to see if any of his guys can come out and do work for me, and when he found out no one could, he took the initiative to come out and do the work himself--THAT is good customer service! He's the boss and didn't have to do the work, but he came out to do the job anyway.

Took him about 20 minutes tops to turn our outlet completely off, and he did a quality job. Now the contractors won't have to delay the work, and they can keep on going!!! Thank you for the prompt response, Mark! It looks like we may be going with you for our next few projects for the home from now on.

I had a NEMA 14-50 plug installed in my garage. The process of taking some pictures and then getting a estimate was a little strange to me but it went smoothly and they gave me a $900 dollar estimate and stated I did not need to change my panel but just recondition it. They came out on time and when he was able to open the panel he stated my panel was in great condition and took $300 dollars off. They did a great job installing the plug and left the area neat and clean. They came back out for the inspection and everything is good. The whole process was very easy and no hassles or headaches and I even got it for less. I am very happy with their service and would highly recommend them for a EV install.

Cannot say enough good things about this service.  Mark is knowledgeable, prompt, efficient, and professional.  His care and honesty are immediately apparent in his estimates of work needed, and explanations of how the work will proceed.

Mark gave us several options for a repair of upstairs bathroom lighting in our older home, and installed an additional plug set for me to use my hair dryer without an extension cord.  His pricing was fair and reasonable, and he completed the work in a timely manner.  He also removed and discarded the defunct fluorescent light bulbs, which cannot be disposed of in the regular trash.

Mark also installed an electric vehicle charger in my garage.  I purchased a plug-in model charger (Juicebox) which could run on our existing circuit.  Mark was careful about the installation, ensuring the cable ran free of interference from the dryer hook-up.  He also fit the installation into his schedule so that I wouldn't be inconvenienced during the work week, and would be able to charge my car in time.

If you're looking for electric work, repairs, or need an EV car charger installation, Mark is the guy.  Great company.

When I needed a charging solution for our Tesla Model 3, I did what any yelp user does. Check reviews and ask for quotes. I sent everyone a description of my current electrical panel. Mark with A-EV Installs responded back right away. Others not so quick.

I received, IMO a very good rate for a NEMA 14-50 outlet installation. In-line with other quotes I've seen on Tesla forums. Mark's quote was actually the cheapest out of all my quotes. I initially thought there was a catch. Turns out I made the best decision with a very upfront, very patient, and honest guy.

Mark worked with me in finding the best solution for my home. We actually sent 38 emails back and forth! There was no upselling. He and I researched a bunch of different options. There were more costly options. In the end, Mark advised and I agreed the easiest solution and cheapest was to disconnect my electric range (which i never used) and use that slot for the Tesla HWPC install.

A-EV Installs took care of my permit and did the installation on the 1st preferred day. Have you dealt with a company that overbooks or shows up late? That didn't happen with A-EV Installs. Their team came on time, on the day I preferred, didn't make a mess, and the Tesla HWPC was configured correctly for my panel.

I'm deliriously happy with my time with Mark and his team at A-EV Installs. They even messaged me to make sure I remember to get my home inspected and the permit signed off. Without a doubt, these guys know what their doing, because Mark remembered my inspection date and emailed me that afternoon to make sure all is well. Just this alone, I know I'm in great hands and that if any issues arise (highly doubt it), they'll take care of it.

I'll probably get another EV car in 2021 and for sure Mark will be on my speed dial. Thanks for everything.

These guys were great.  I ran a construction company and am currently on the Board of a company that does nothing but high voltage electrical work.  I am a hard grader and these guys were fantastic.  They were safe, Covid sensitive, polite, professional, and recently talented.  I had to have cable run all the way across my garage in a complicated format and they handled it no problem.  Only one person showed up and he did it all.  At the end I asked if he could look at installing another socket on one side of a wall while he was there.  He called in and no problem, did the job without hesitation.  Done deal.  Adam arranged it all and was prompt and courteous.  There are a lot of slack contractors, these guys are not one of them.  Hire them.

Found these guys directly from the list of Tesla recommended companies on the Tesla website to install my EV charger. Their quoting system was very convenient and allows you to send all the required photos in before hand for them to view. Great experience today with A-EV. We had a Gen 1 charger wall charger that was incompatible with our new Model S.  We got a newer wall charger from Tesla and they recommended we downgrade our 90amp circuit to a 60amp. A-EV was able to use our existing 90amp breaker and existing wiring for the new unit and the installation cost was much lower than we thought it would be.  I'd definitely use them again.

I had a great experience with A-EV installs. From the start, this company stood out when I was getting quotes from 4 different companies. Mark called me to discuss my quote over the phone. I sent on inquiry via yelp on Tuesday morning, by Wednesday the project was complete, Thursday, passed Fullerton inspection with flying colors just as Mark said it would.

I reached out to A-EV Installs to get a Tesla Wall connector installed in my parents house. The whole process was very easy and service was better than expected. I was unable to be there while the inspection and installation took place, but they were very considerate and helpful when dealing with my parents who were there - they only spoke praises.

In addition to their friendly service they actually convinced us to save about $300 on the install price by moving the wall charger to another location than where we had originally intended. They also installed a 50 amp breaker instead of a 60 amp breaker after taking a look at our current electrical system (old) and the load it currently has on it to prevent the chance of an electrical fire.

I am aware the charge rate will be lower than if a 60amp breaker was installed, but either way it is plenty of charging for my needs. Also with the 50 amp circuit it can easily be converted to a NEMA 14-50 outlet in the future in the case an EV other than a Tesla finds its home in that garage.

All around A+ service. Thank you A-EV Installs for your great work.

We needed an electrician to check out our electrical panel because it was red flagged at inspection. I went through yelp to figure who to call, A-Home Electric had a ton of 5 star reviews so I decided to send them a message for a quote.

Mark answered right away and answered all of my questions minutes after asking. (I had to message due to me being at work) Mark gave me the quote and that's exactly what it was when he left after the inspection of the panel.

We live in an older house in Tustin.  The manager came out  and assessed the project for us, tailoring the work to our particular needs.  Then we received a prompt quote.  On the day of the install, the electrician was on time and polite.  He worked hard to do the job right, not just the easiest way possible.  He even included an extra 120 outlet install on the spot, since it made sense with our situation.  I would recomment A-EV to our neighbors.

I called them for a quote to install a NEMA 14-50, they asked for me to email them some photos of my panel and the location of where I wanted the charger.  They quoted me a very fair and reasonable price.  They came out to do the install within a very reasonable timeframe, they even called to tell me they were 30 minutes away.  

Adam did an amazing job of explaining everything to me.  He completed the work very efficiently without trying to up sell me on unnecessary things (like how some contractors do).  I felt very comfortable with how he handled everything.  He was meticulous and thorough in his work.  My outlet looks great and he assured me the Tesla charging cord would reach from the car to where I wanted the outlet installed.

He charged me exactly what was quoted.  He even swept up the debris from the installation. We had a problem with our home in HB. Seemed like the electrical outlet in both bathrooms and 2/4 bedrooms were out. Lights still work, breaker panel was all ON. I've tested using the Circuit Tester and Voltage Pen, showed Open Hot somewhere in the house. After a day of troubleshooting the different outlets, I gave up and called Mark from A-HOME and he came out the next day. Fair pricing, quick troubleshooting, quality work and fixed the problem w/in the hour.

It was embarrassing that I was unable to resolve but great because Mark helped explain how to troubleshoot and fix the Open Hot break in the different walls.

Highly recommend if you're in the HB or OC area. Give Mark a call. He's my new go-to for Electrical issues that I can't resolve.

I needed to upgrade my garage circuits, so I gave A-Home Electric a call.  Mark was very responsive and came promptly for an estimate.  He was very thorough and walked me through the work that would be done.  His estimate was very reasonable.  I gave the go ahead, and we set an install date.

Great experience. Easy to make an appointment via email.  Submitted the photos of my circuit breaker and garage area, and got a firm quote immediately.  Albert called and asked to come earlier than scheduled time due to a cancellation. Did a great job with our EV outlet install. Ours was a little tricky due to the length of the run and some limited options to get the dedicated circuit to the garage that required some fishing through a tight attic and some holes cut in the ceiling. They did a great job with this and even patched and painted the holes for a little extra which was worth it.  The result in the end was excellent and all the workmen were professional and skilled. Owners were easy to deal with. Highly recommend!

I found A-EV Installs under the Tesla website of recommended electricians to install a NEMA 15-40 outlet for Tesla vehicle home charging.  I first spoke with Steve at A-EV Installs about my need and the unique setup in our garage.  Steve took the time to explain the required work and suggested different options for my consideration.  He was very professional, patient, and down to earth, in my opinion.  Most important to me as a consumer, the pricing was very clear and removes the potential for ambiguity.

Mark and Johnny from A-EV Installs came on a Saturday to perform the work, which is a great plus given I'm busy during the weekdays.  They were both very professional and friendly.  They took the time to answer our questions and clearly explained the process.  In addition to the great customer service, the quality of their work was excellent.

Worth every penny!  Spoke with Steven.  Mark & Johnny came to do the installation.  I see now why these guys are like rock stars getting perfect reviews.  I was going to get a friend to do it for cheaper but he didn't know everything about what a Tesla needed like these guys.  You do not have to tell them anything - they got trained just for this.  All Tesla owners should consider them.

A-EV has been 1st class front start to finish! Was having issues with my 240v outlet not charging my Model 3 and retiring out. I messaged A-EV on had a response same day and a great dialogue back and forth for possible remedies before scheduling a visit. When we did determine that a visit was needed the team worked to get me scheduled the next day. I got a call a few hours later that they could squeeze me in same day and were at my house within 30 minutes. Mark was extremely knowledgeable and was able to figure out the issue and fix it with parts in hand. I would definitely recommend A-EV if you need electrical work done and done right for your EV!

Technician called within two hours, determined quickly that my main breaker had failed.  Came over and pulled the part even though it was after 6:00pm.  Found a replacement for the 50+ year old part and the lights were back on by 10:30am the next morning.  Couldn't be happier with the service and would definitely recommend.

I had them install a nema outlet for my tesla--- they quoted me $250(similar to other installers).  The day before the install date, some guy from their company calls and said they made a mistake and actually it costs $600+.  After I protested, he said ok since we already quoted you $250.

The install itself went ok but later when I asked about a permit, he wanted to charge an additional $240 for the paperwork even though the city charges only $50 for it.

 Needless to say I declined and I found all the info I needed online to complete the paperwork and the $50 permit fee myself.

Look I understand everyone needs to make a living but this company has a bit of bait and switch going on and they inflate prices hoping to catch an unsuspecting customer into paying it.  Not cool..  use a different installer or at least know what other electricians charge before you consider these guys

You do not need to call anyone else. They installed a home NEMA plug for my Tesla 3. Outstanding service. Professional, friendly, there within days of your call which they clear with you, arrive exactly on time, willing to answer all questions. Never in a rush to leave.

They truly  are a step above. I don't see even any negative reviews and there is a reason for that.

My neighbor recommended them to me. I am recommending them to you. I promise you will be recommending them to others.

After reaching out to several electricians on the Tesla list to request a quote for install of a 240 outlet of which I was not able to get any responses from, I reached out to A-EV Installs and Steve reached out right away.  I spoke with Steve, sent him photos of my place and received a quote right away. After accepting his offer, got a reply back that they were available right after the holiday.   The job was completed on 02/Jan/2019.   Mark and his team delivered what they promised, no hidden agenda or fees, pulled the city permit and did a really clean job in installing the EV outlet.   The city inspector came the next day and signed off on the permit.  The inspector said the install was nicely done - very clean.  Thank you Mark and team  - I am happy with the install.  I will certainly reach out to A-EV Installs again for any future electrical work.

5 Star Service All The Way! Mark was very accommodating to my schedule, very thorough in his explanation of the process and how to install my charger according to the city's specifications, and came back to explain to me how to use the charger effectively. His price was also significantly lower than the other company I got quoted on, AND his custom lock box for the charging cable was essential for my set up because I live in a community where I park my car in a public parking garage. So his box that keeps my charging cable safe from being tampered with was a huge selling point! I would recommend you look no further in your search for an EV Installer. Mark is your guy!

These guys did a great job for a reasonable price. First, Adam came out to clarify what they would have to do. We live in a condo, and don't have the capacity for the Tesla Wall Connector (which charges at 44 mph). We could upgrade the 100-amp breaker, but that would have to get HOA approval, and we'd have to upgrade the neighbors' breakers as well (we all share the same utility closet). Instead, Adam's solution was that since we had a gas dryer, to use the unused electric dryer circuit, run it from the laundry room, through the back of a closet, and into the garage. We scheduled a day, then Mike and Albert showed up and did a phenomenal  job. They put in a NEMA 10-30 outlet per code, with minimal cuts through the drywall, and had the permit all ready. I hooked up the 10-30 adapter I ordered from Tesla ($35), and you can see from the photo it is charging at 25 mph (more than the 22 mph cited on the Tesla site). Saved $500 not having to buy the Wall Connector. We called the city inspector out and he gave the thumbs-up. I would highly recommend A-EV Installs!

I used A-EV installs to install a new 200 Amp panel and an EV charger at my home for my Tesla Model X. Mark and Steven are extremely professional, honest, and reliable. Simply put, I would recommend them 100X over for anyone looking into installing EV equipment.

I had called several companies for quotes, and A-EV installs was one of the few companies that actually physically came out to my home to look the existing panel and assess my garage accessibility. Their upfront thoroughness made their price/quote absolutely reliable.

Also, for anyone new to buying an electric car, there are various steps that a homeowner must take before installation, specifically getting a permit through the city. I have 2 small children and work, so I don't have time to go through the city to navigate what I need to do to secure a permit. A-EV installs does IT ALL. They filed, scheduled someone from the city to do the inspection, and mailed me the final approved permit! Not to mention, they were super helpful in making sure I filed for applicable rebates through the electric company.

I can't thank Mark and Steven enough. You guys were awesome. And, if you're someone who might not be super in the know about EV installation and equipment, these are your guys. You're in good hands!

I bought a Bolt EV recently and purchased a Siemens 240v level 2 charger from Costco. I had two 240v outlets in my garage so I thought I was all set to roll.. until I opened the Siemens charger from package. Very soon I realized that the charger plug and outlet were not compatible (14-50 vs 6-50). Fortunately, I found A-EV Installs on Yelp. Asked them for quote. They immediately responded with a quote and were able to accommodate me the very next day. They were very professional all through the engagement. Came in, swapped the Nema outlets, did a clean install, tested the charger was charging vehicle. All of this within 20 minutes. I moved into a new place that had an electric dryer outlet, and I found out that it didn't fit my Tesla charging adapter.  I found A-EV Installs on Yelp, and I first I spoke with Steve.  After sending him pictures of my electric panel, he told me that to be safe, I need to upgrade the electric panel to install a Telsa charging outlet.  So, the total cost he quoted me was $600.  I agreed that safety is a priority, so I decided to use this company.  

The next day, Adam came over.  I told him that if possible, I want him to replace the current electric dryer outlet to a Tesla charging outlet.  I was telling him how I wished I could use the existing electric dryer outlet to charge my Tesla.  To my surprise, he said that I could!  He said that the outlet I have is called 10-30, and Tesla sells the adapter!  He showed me a Tesla charging speed chart and explained to me that 10-30 adapter will charge 14 miles per hour, instead of 20 miles per hour.  I live 5 minutes away from my work, so this was no issue.  I then went on to Tesla online store to order the 10-30 adapter, but it was sold out.  Adam suggested that I should contact local stores because sometimes they have them in stock.  He was right!  Buena Park store had a lot of them in stock!  Adam tested to make sure my electric dryer outlet works properly.  In the end, he didn't charge me anything!  He literally saved me $600!!  I am so grateful for his honesty, knowledge, and kindness!!  I will definitely use their service if I have any electrical issues in the future!  Thank you, Adam!!

I had Mark set up a new electrical panel and new outlets in the kitchen. Prices were reasonable, work was done on a very timely manner, and he went above and beyond by helping with other issues we hadn't noticed yet (extremely helpful for a new homeowner!).

We also had him come back to help with some additional quick interior work and he made recommendations to save us money even if it wasn't to his benefit.

A-EV installed a NEMA 14-50 station for my new Tesla Model 3. It looks professional (clean and organized) and works as expected - 32 Amps for some seriously fast charging! They went above and beyond, and I will be keeping them in mind for any other electrical work around the home for the future. These guys are solid! I was referred to A-EV Installs from Tesla when I purchased a new car. I needed to get a higher voltage outlet installed to charge the car. They were able to give me a quote and come out to the site within days. Within a week they were able to do the work. They explained everything thoroughly and prided themselves on safety over cost, which should always be the case. That being said, their rates were reasonable and affordable. They were even able to save me from having to get an entire panel upgrade by putting in the right breakers. There install was timely, they were prompt, and they left the site clean. Wow! Called A-Home in a panic about an electrical issue we ran into on a move-in day as if moving isn't already stressful enough. On a holiday weekend i was sure they were going to say sorry were totally booked and can't come till the following week. Nope could be there next day! But first the owner was kind enough to make sure we had done some basic things. He went through his up front rates and wanted to be sure his services were truly needed so we didn't haven't to waste money (wow! So honest of him!) I was walked through a few simple steps and BAM problem solved!!! We were back in business. We didn't end up needing to use A-homes services this time but they will be our first call any time we need any electrical work done. So refreshing to work with an honest repair service that isn't just in it for the $$$.

My alarm system went down and it's due to a busted GFI wall outlet. I requested a quote via Yelp from 6 electricians. Mark's quote was the most reasonable and it's a fixed price. I called one other electrician because he was in the neighborhood but I wasn't happy with his final quote. So I called Mark and he said he can do it within the hour. He was very pleasant on the phone and in person. He replaced the GFI unit within minutes. In addition, FREE of charge, he also replaced the old GFI unit in my front porch equipped with a weatherproof receptacle cover. These 2 units shared the same circuit so Mark told me, when the one outside gets wet, it affects the other GFI in the garage. So the receptacle cover will prevent that from happening. I'm very happy with his service and glad I found a good electrician in the area!

I contacted them because they were on the Tesla recommended list for Wall connector ev installs. I requested they come out to assess our needs but stated they couldn't and wanted pictures sent instead. I am of the old school thought that jobs should be assessed in person and you meet with the potential contractor to ensure it's a good fit and the quote/estimate is accurate. After much chagrin, I accommodated them by sending photographs of the areas for install. They also were hesitant to come out as we are towards the outskirts of Orange County. They were not available for any work for weeks so I requested the soonest weekend. They stated we needed to remove everything in our garage that would be in the way. However, I stated I  could not remove affixed items. That's when they stated they refused to do the job. I then requested why and the reason and even requested they call as I wished to resolve it. They called and stated they would not be intimidated by a negative review implying they are above it all. They tried to claim I did not follow their protocol in providing pictures and I had to laugh as I did everything to accommodate their needs! What ever happen to quality customer service and providing attention to projects?!

As you can see they try to cover up by stating I was hostile. I'd be happy to share the emails with anyone who has questions and I only feel the need to leave bad reviews when well deserved. They had no explanation for refusing and now are having a hard time finding ways to come up with an excuse. Use someone else who will actually take the time to come out and look at your inquiries. Don't let them gloss over your eyes

Very happy with the work they did to install two 220v outlets in my garage for my EV's.  Steven replied right away with options (I sent photos) and Mark came out a week later to do the install.  They took care of the permit, scheduled the inspection, and had all the work done on the same day.  Mark does neat work and was conscious of details like making sure the outlets are straight and level.  He upgraded some breakers in the electrical panel to make sure everything is to code and there would be no hiccups in the inspection.  I would use these guys again.  Very professional.

I needed to get an EV charger installed and after speaking to multiple electricians, Mark was recommended by a neighbor. Right from our first phone call, Mark was very professional and knowledgeable. He gave me a fair quote and even suggested that I call around to make sure I get a fair price. He arrived on time and finished in a timely manner. Throughout the installation, it was evident that Mark was passionate about his job and it showed in the quality of his work. He made sure to explain to me what he was doing. He went above and beyond what was required to be up to code. The city inspected his work, and sure enough it was approved. These guys are awesome. Very nice and clean work - NEMA 14-50, with surface mounted conduit. I believe they enjoyed the quality of job they done, they are proud of their final result, as any true professionals. As a courtesy these guys have even painted conduit with color matching to walls in garage, and matching beautiful light-green glowing LED of Tesla Powerwall (existing project). They also obtained all necessary permits and provided paperwork, which is required for you to apply for EV rebates (Charge Ready Home Installation Rebate). Please note that installation work cannot be performed by a general building contractor, to be eligible for a rebate, and your electrician's license must be classified as a C-10 license. A-EV Installs has everything for that, so rest assured.

I called in A-EV installs yesterday to have my wall charger disconnected. I thought it would be a long process and was prepared to pay the 125 dollars. Mark came in and told me that it was as easy as unplugging a regular outlet and didn't even ask me for a charge or tip or anything, I recommend this company and they will hundred percent help you with what you need!!!!

I called Mark Phillips to do the installation of our EV plug for our garage. He was the only one that responded quickly and gave us the most honest and upfront evaluation. He was specific, detailed and gave us all the options and very thorough. He included options we had not thought of. He also included information on licensing and working with the utility and getting approval from the city. Had a 240v outlet installed for our new electric vehicle.  It was particularly challenging because we live in a condo.  The distance from our electrical panel to the garage made the installation almost impractical.  Owner Mark came up with a solution which involved installing DCC-9 demand charge controller next to the electric meters on the utility side of the condominium.  This cut the distance to the garage by about 50% and eliminated the need to add a 240v circuit breaker to my panel, making the project feasible.  Mark's staff also prepared and filed the necessary paperwork with the City of Dana Point so that the project could be properly permitted.  The city inspector signed off on the finished project without hesitation.  Mark was very responsive to any questions that came up along the way.  Responses to my email inquiries were virtually instantaneous, whether night or day.

Where do I start! I just want to say that I did my research on who I was going to trust to do my EV Charger install with. I spoke to many people and the reason I chose this company was the friendliness and knowledgeable way that Mark explained the whole process to me. Mark and his team installed a personal system for level 2 charging in the shared garage of my condominium complex. The job was fairly sizable considering the electrical room with meters for each unit is 250 feet from the 2 parking spots which I own. I consulted with 4 other electricians and Socal Edison, and A-EV Installs provided the all-around best solution which routes off my existing meter using an electrical load balancing device. This device manages usage between the home and EV charger to stay within limitations of the existing setup and Edison restrictions, i.e. not allowing an additional meter. While others proposed solutions with the load balancing device, Mark was the most upfront with pricing (which was highly competitive) and personally handled the permitting process with the city end-to-end. Mark and his team were very responsive to my questions and worked with me on personalizing the solution which included a locked box for the charging cable both while in and out of use. Mark and 3 of his team members performed the installation in 1 day and provided me with all the necessary paperwork which I have used for various EV rebate incentives. I am very satisfied with the overall process and results and appreciate the dedicated effort and urgency from Mark and his team. Thank you Mark and team.

The power in my entire house went out overnight. Early the next morning I gave Mark a call and he promptly answered! He was able to get out very quickly on the same day and he was very upfront and forward about his pricing when we were speaking on the phone. A-EV Installs did a great job. I was looking at a few other companies and chose A-EV as Mark knew what he was doing. Another company told me they could install 2 wall connectors but when I asked my electrician about this he said no way as it would overload my system. I called Mark and he agreed and explained what my options were as I wanted to charge 2 cars at the same time. Mark's communication was great and he kept me informed every step of the way. The job ended up changing from what was originally planned and Adam explained what needed to be done and why according to code. Their pricing is competitive and fair and Mark even told me about a rebate I qualified for but didn't know about, so thank you Mark!  It turned out great and I definitely recommend and would use them again.

Apparently Mark will request Yelp to remove any negative reviews. Shame on you.  We need to fix our old electrical wall heaters replaced in our cottage. He showed up and then said he would get back to us with a quote. Didn't hear from him so I called him on his cell and he said he was in the process of tracking down replacement units. Since this was in the middle of the December cold spell, he said that he would provide a portable heater for us, since he carried them around in case he couldn't make a repair right away.  And that's the last we ever heard from him, He has not responded to my calls or texts. He just dropped off the face of the earth. Don't waste your time with him.

Mark was a total flake with me; although he appeared really nice and personable at first.  He came out to give an estimate to put in wiring to a sauna that I ordered.  He gave me a written estimate (lower than I expected) and said that he would come back to install the wiring when the sauna is put together.  When I called him that the sauna is ready, he did not answer my phone calls; neither my text messages, although he answered phone calls from others at the first ring a few minutes later and throughout the day.  Glad that I found out how he really is before he started the job.  I (although can't be sure of this) think that he realized the job is beyond his abilities.  Why would he disappear otherwise???  Very disappointing experience!  Don't use this guy if you want reliable, good service!

We used A-EV installs this month for an outdoor charger, level 2, we have a Kia Niro and Kia Optima and from start to finish they were so helpful, and professional. I left a message with Steven and he returned my call with in minutes and Mark was prompt to come out and give an estimate (very competitive). They were helpful with the information on where to buy, and they schedule an appointment so when the unit arrived they where there to install right away. We had A-EV install a 240 volt outlet in our garage in anticipation of the delivery of our new Tesla. It took a little longer than anticipated for our Tesla to arrive and then when we got it, Tesla did not have any adapters for our charger. So, we had to order an adapter. We had to scour the internet and eventually found one that was the right size. When it arrived, we set up our car to charge that evening (in the middle of the night). We were awakened when we realized we had no power in the house (circuit breaker tripped). We reset and 20 minutes later it happened again. We called A-EV Installs the next day. They were very responsive. They sent someone out that day who looked over the installation. Seeing nothing wrong, they wondered if it was our adapter. We tried again to charge and sure enough the circuit breaker tripped again. We called them back and they came out again the next day (Saturday) and used their adapter (that they carry around to test situations like ours) in place of ours. After about 2 hours went by and the car had successfully charged, the repairman (Mark) indicated that he would be willing to sell us their adapter at cost (even though they kind of needed it for other repairs). This kept us from having to go back online and order a new adapter (since our faulty adapter was obviously the problem). We might have been another week or two without being able to charge our vehicle at home. I highly recommend A-EV Installs - they really want to make sure the customer is happy.

I could not be happier with the service that A-EV Installs provided. I would unflinchingly, unhesitatingly and undoubtedly recommend them for any electrical work you have. When i purchased my Tesla, I contacted 3-4 companies that I found on Tesla's website to install a circuit to charge my Tesla. They all replied but A-EV was the only company that clearly stood out in its response. Thus, the stellar service actually started with their email response to me. Then, Steven from A-EV called me & in painstaking detail, based on the pictures I sent him coupled with the requested information, explained to me what my current situation was, what I should have & how we would get from current to needed. The installer who came out did an excellent job at a very, very competitive price. The story does not end there! They went above & beyond duty. When you accept delivery from Tesla, they do not currently supply adapters that interface between the 220 receptacle (mine is a 14-50) & Tesla's charge port. When I visited Tesla's website, it said the part is out of stock with no date on when their stock would be replenished. I texted Steven yesterday (12/30/19) on whether he had any advice, tips, etc. He told me I could get one at the Tesla location in Costa Mesa or that he could have one available to me. I don't think this is part of his job but he did it anyways. In less than 24 hours, he not only had the adapter for me, he actually sent someone TO MY HOUSE to personally deliver it this morning. WOW. Please, do yourself a favor, contact these guys if you need electrical work done. You will not regret it!
