I was informed by the city about a leak, called OC plumbing, they informed me that they would be here at 8 pm. 9:30 pm nobody showed up, 9:43 finally Diego showed up, look to the issue, took a picture and informed me that it is simple and need 10 to 15 minutes to be done. Later I called the office to ask for the quotation, they asked for $2500 for a 10 minutes job... Ridiculous

OC plumbing was assigned to us by our home warranty program - and thank goodness for that. Diego and Alex came over on short notice to take a look at our drainage situation. We had slow water drainage and weird bubbling in the toilet anytime the shower runs. They were unable to locate the drain-outs and hence did a high-pressure-water clean from the sewage vent in the roof. Once that was done, they passed a snake camera to assess the root cause. What we saw on the camera surprised us! We had severe tree roots clogging the clay joints. This apparently happens after years of tree growth and weak old-school clay joints which crack and let the root in. Regardless, he gave us a good quote - included pulling permits, labor & parts for replacing entire sewage line to SDR17 pipes (more durable, earthquake proof) and adding 2 clean outs (one for the house, and one for the city). Diego and Oscar worked tirelessly all day and got the work done in about 8 hours. They added a new pipe while breaking the old pipe, in place. Meant minimal digging. They were efficient, on time and effective. We still have some tree roots blocking the pipe that leads to the city mainline, they are helping us set up appointment with the City to get it cleaned out.

Overall, we are satisfied with their work and especially since they give lifetime warranty, we feel comfortable investing in this one-time fix to change the entire sewage pipes.

OC Plumbing is the best... look no further if you want quality craftsmanship and honest price.

We used yelp to send out requests for quotes and Octivio sent us a quick reply.
My needs were not urgent, with only drip, drip, drip to our exterior pipes. We scheduled the apt for 2 days out.

The day of, received a message that Alex the technician, was on the way and was within the 2 hour window. Wjen he arrived, he provided options and costs. We found it to be very competitive. However, since he was already there and ready to work my gutt said go for it, plus Alex just had that good vibe going.

Our job was a little complex as Alex had to redo shotty work from a prior company, galvanized pipes.. but he kept on working through. Then out of the blue, there was a change request.. home owner changed her mind.. and Alex flowed right on through and made the changes requested. I feel bad if he was late to his next apt. Not one complaint from Alex, he just kept working. I would give him a 10 if possible.

My favorite part of this entire experience, besides excellent craftsmanship, was the excellent communication with Alex, and together we discussed all options to make the customer happy. Happy, I am a happy happy customer!!.

If I could give them a 10, I would!

Timeliness: I called after hours (after 6pm) and while I reached an answering machine or service for other companies, OC Plumbing picked up the phone to assist me. They gave me a one hour time frame (7-8pm) for that same evening and sure enough, they arrived just after 7.

Professionalism: They quickly identified the problem and fixed it for me.

Personal Service: Not only did they fix the problem, they stayed to answer my questions and help assist with a phone call to the water company which was part of the underlying problem.

I highly recommend OC Plumbing to get the job done quickly, thoroughly and and a very fair price!

Called OC about my water heater going out. They were able to diagnose immediately over the phone and helped us get temporary hot water within minutes. Also they made an appointment the next morning and completed the permanent repair. This is the second time I have called them for plumbing needs and they are always on time , clean and knowledgeable. Spoke with Alex. Called late afternoon on a Friday and Alex was very friendly and helpful in working to schedule someone for a clogged kitchen sink/laundry drain. Service was impeccable. Received a text within 3 minutes that someone was already scheduled and on the way. Not bad for a 5 pm call on a Friday! Within 20 minutes Diego was onsite and helping to jet the cleanout to break up all the grease that has built up over the years. Less than an hour from the initial call, work was finished and all drains were back to normal. Even if I had to wait several hours I would have been equally impressed.

Pricing was very fair and both Alex and Diego were very friendly and helpful in dealing with the pain of a backed up sink at the end of the day. Would recommend OC Plumbing for any plumbing needs! Thanks, guys again for the help!

I've used their services twice before and have no complaints. Today, Alex was able to give me some advice on a rooftop solar heating unit that was leaking.

What I like about OC Plumbing is that 1) they always pick up the phone, 2) they're available at a time that is convenient to me, 3) they send you a text message immediately after booking with them, and 4) they send you a text when they're on their way--with a link to track them on a map so you know when they will arrive.

Property line sewer access point passed the 3x city/sanitation inspections first time, he always arrived on time, ~10% less $$ than two other plumbers, had the tools and the knowledge... and pretty much dug to the center of the earth to address the problem

Background - recently bought a house and sewer line backed up water into the basement. Called three plumbers (new to the area) and Alex was the third one to show up.

Communication - responsive and clear

Timing - arrived on time and completed work in estimated duration

These guys are great. I love that you get a text when the technician is on the way. They came out for a free quote and were amazing. They were honest in weighing the options between a water heater with a tank and tankless. I opted to get the traditional hot water heater. Ours was over 25 years old, but still working!! Amazing! We've had issues with water pressure for over a month and today it came to a full stop. We had two other plumbers quote to re-pipe our entire house both quotes were $8,000.00 and up. That didn't pass the smell test to me since neither previous plumber actually LOOKED at the plumbing or asked questions.

Diego was our superhero for the day and God bless him! He took the time to not only provide suggestions, but to also explain what he was doing and why he was doing it. The issue ended up being with our water softener and had nothing to do with the plumbing.

So glad I trusted my gut and reached out to OC plumbing. From the moment I asked for an estimate these guys were on it. They were fast, knowledgeable, honest and considerate. Traits you rarely find anywhere anymore.

We'll reach out to them again to replace some faucets, but I pray, we never need their services for something like this again. If we do, I know who to call......These Guys!

Sorry for the late review. After a brand new water heater installation a little less than a year ago, the cold water connection to the heater started leaking. I wrongfully thought the issue was with the water heater and called OC Plumbing to discuss the matter. They immediately responded and sent Octavio in less than 15 minutes and fixed the cold water connection in 5 minutes. Finding services in SF bay area is already difficult let alone high quality ones. OC Plumbing is very easy to work with.

We had a very bad experience with OC Plumbing yesterday since he came for a couple plumbing issues we had in our house including water heater problem.
The technician ,or owner Octavio was very rude and unprofessional from the first moment he arrived in our address since he kept on lecturing me and kept saying listen , listen, and he was yelling and raising his voice.
We ended up asking him to leave our house after he collected the deductible and the most crucial job was our water heater which was leaking, and now we don't have hot water for a few more days until we get the next plumbing company to come on.

He was suppose to drain the water from water heater after he was paid, but he refused to do it after he was paid since we was angry that we didn't want him do the all job.
He acted as if he was the only plumbing company in the area.
I do not want anybody else to go through the problem we went through with his company.

I had a kitchen sink issue and ended up having to buy a replacement faucet, the guy at OC was great and installed it without any problems. At first I wanted to only repair what was already installed in my kitchen, however the previous installation from 4 years ago was poorly done and needed to be changed. So under the recommendation of OC it was better to get the faucet replaced and it didn't cost too much for it to be done. No more leaks! I would recommend OC for house needs, the response is fast, less than 24 hours from when the problem first occurred and the repair was done. Locally owned and operated is always preferred too!

could send Diego out to fix our leaky kitchen faucet between 3:00pm-5:00pm. At 3:00pm Diego arrived and within 15 minutes the leak was fixed. Fortunately just needed tightening. Very professional. Clean.

Awesome service! We had a slow drip from our bath tub faucet, another plumber looked at it and immediately said the entire faucet assembly needed to be replaced (over $1000 for the repair). Called OC for a quote, and they immediately identified the issue as probably being only from the cold water handle.

An hour later and we're drip free for a third of the original quote price! Thanks OC plumbing! Highly recommended!

Great find! I was in need of a plumber for a backed up line. I messaged OC Plumbing first since they were nearby and had a good rating. Alex provided the best service you can look for he founded the water meter between 4 other meters around the shopping center after 10 pm,and he did provide extra parts for the sink and the toilet and they were not part of his job just to make sure everything runs well no extra charge even .

My water heater is old and having problem with thermocouple. Thought I have to replace the heater so I called OC to give a estimate. Alex came in , checked the heater and told me the heater is very good though aged, no need to replace the whole thing. So he only replaced the thermocouple and brought hot water. 7:00 AM today and no hot water -- called Alex, he fit us into an already scheduled day and was there in 4 hours. Hot water heater was nearing end of life cycle so we opted for a replacement, which was done by 3:30 pm. Pricing more than fair and we appreciated that Alex fit us in so we didn't have to wait another day. He & Rodrigo were terrific; these reviews are all on the money. Note: last week Alex spent 20 min. assessing a possible problem, told me how to resolve and refused to be paid anything for his very valuable time. Got a clogged kitchen sink, and failed with another plumbing company even with snake, twice.
As I hesitated to break the wall and replace the pipe, I decided to try my luck with OC on the second day. Alex came to rescue and got it unclogged with just another snake!
During the way he also noticed my faucet was leaking, and suggested a replacement. Fair price so I gave it a go.
As Alex was pulled to another site, Diego came to replace the faucet half an hour later. We got a 1/2 inch water pipe so they had to get a converter for 3/8 inch. Long story short, got shiny new faucet working quite fast.

Called OC plumbing when my house's main water line sprung a leak (at the meter). Alex was at my house within 2 hours of my contacting them, he said the job could be done in a couple of hours, he showed me the problem and offered a suggestion for how to fix it so that it would not happen again (seems the original contractor who built the house didn't make sure the connection to the water meter was straight, thus there was stress on the line/connection. Great service, knowledgeable, and will get the job done.

Price was about what I expected but just didn't have the time to shop around. Nevertheless, the work done was very clean and thorough, I would certainly consider calling them again for other repairs.

Had a plumbing emergency this morning, and OC Plumbing was my first and only call based on yelp reviews. They gave me a 2hr window appointment, but Diego showed up on the dot. He was able to diagnose the problem right away, and gave me a good price estimate. The work to get to the pipe was very tedious, but Diego was very patient and careful. He didnt take any short cuts, and did the work properly from start to finish. He was also very accomodating in answering all my questions and concerns, so i would highly recommend them.

OC Plumbing was very prompt with our request for a fix to our clogged kitchen sink. The technician Alex arrived within a couple hours. He was professional and courteous and explained the issue. (There was a lot of grease stuck in the drain pipe and some lemon skin was dumped in the garbage disposal the night before.)

Alex efficiently fixed the sink - pumped out the excess water and snaked the drain pipe - and put everything back in place. He wore shoe covers / took off his shoes before coming in and cleaned up after the job was done. He also gave us a 30-day guarantee if we used the sink properly (no more lemon skin down the drain!).

We didn't know a job done on an island sink costs more than normal sinks connected to the outer house wall. A suggestion to OC Plumbing would to be more clear in the initial quote for such differences.

Overall, we are happy that the sink got fixed so quickly.

Me and my family had an AWESOME wonderful experience with Mr Octavio, owner of OC Plumbing. I just called in today morning and was totally bewildered to get the same day Plumbing appointment. Octavio was punctual, sincere, on timer and with a smile after looking at the stucked water Drain in my upstairs bathroom tub, he said no worry, will take care of it. Octavio surprised me after 20 minutes that job is all done with all hairs, mess all removed and water now flowing smoothly through my bath tub drain trap.
Upon my and wife's request, Octavio even cleaned up the downstairs half bathroom with a big mess of hairs and life was back on track!!
Bottomline, after the mess fix both upstairs and downstairs bathrooms, we were very impressed with clean well done job. I am gonna strongly recommend OC Plumbing to all my family and friends for all their residential and commercial home plumbing needs and requirements. I had a pretty good experience with OC Plumbing. They were contracted by our home warranty company to fix sheet rock. One of the previous contractors rescheduled 4 times and still never showed up. However, the guys from OC Plumbing company responded fast and were very professional in conveying time, schedules etc.

Once onsite, they found out another service which was not an add-on and they still honored the service request while I was working with the insurance company. That was a pretty good gesture.

Overall after the fix, they cleaned the bathroom and made sure it was working before they left. Will surely recommend them to friends and also will use them in future.

Diego showed up on time, and did a great job fixing a leak in my wall that was situated in a tight space. It was a complicated repair, and Diego accomplished it by using Shark Bite style plumbing couplers. I do recommend OC Plumbing. 5 stars!

I recently called OC plumbing to unclog one of our shower drainage. I made the appointment Sunday night and the appointment was scheduled for 5PM on Monday. Because of my work schedule, I informed OC Plumbing that I can't make to home at 5PM so need to push the schedule out to 6PM. They agreed to the change without any hesitations. One of the technician showed up on time and got the problem resolved very quickly. In addition, he also addressed another issue at my roommate's request. Very good service!

Highly recommend OC Plumbing for the work they just did for me. Toilet needing to be re-seated and the shutoff valve replaced. My call was answered by a person right away. I described my needs and was given an estimate. Old house so no copper lines. Galvanized pipe instead and was told upfront of the potential problems with old, rusty pipes breaking due to age and corrosion. Given an additional quote in case the pipe broke and further repairs needed.
Moved ahead and made an appointment which was available next day.
Given a 2 hour window for the service call. The two man crew showed up within 15 minutes of the window and promptly got to work. A new wax seal was installed and the toilet bowl was properly re-seated and secured. The old shut off valve was removed (pipe held up) and a new valve was installed along with a new supply line and galvanized plate.
I spoke to Alex on the phone and he and Diego were the ones to come to the job. They know their stuff and did a fantastic job.

Alex did a fantastic job. He arrived earlier than the scheduled time. Quickly identified the problem and came up with a solution and a more importantly a reasonable price quote. We agreed on the details and he immediately started the work. He explained the details while performing the fix so that I know what went wrong and what we might do to avoid the same issue from happening too soon in the future. All my plumbing problems are solved nicely. Plus, he was very polite and fun to talk to. I would definitely hire him again if I ever need a plumber.

OC plumbing did a great job and the owner Octavio (I hope I spelled that right) went out of his way several times on this one job. We had a water heater that was starting to leak. It was mid day Saturday when we called with trouble and within an hour Octavio called back from Florida at the airport and took the time to assess the urgency of our problem. The next day he arrived 2 hours after his plane landed to determine what parts were needed. The very next day his crew came out and they replaced our water heater. They did what they could to keep charges to a minimum and still bring everything up to code. Octavio made yet one more trip to help clear out a clogged sink line at no charge even though it wasn't technically his a part of the work. Thanks OC, we'll be calling with the next plumbing job (hopefully not soon).

The water heater they installed was a high grade water heater and the install looks outstanding. I hate to say we blanked that we had home owner's insurance. Since they already worked with the insurance company I was able to have insurance pay for the replacement. I am happy they mentioned that. They seemed like a solid outfit and I'd use them again.

I have to say Diego was so quick and efficient and was able to make our garbage disposal work again in less than 5 minutes. He knew exactly what was wrong with it and explained what was going on. He was super friendly and courteous. Plus he was at my house at the beginning of the time window I was given, which was very helpful for me to do other things now instead of wait for someone to come to my house. Use OC Plumbing. Called OC Plumbing to give an estimate on replacing a water heater and circulation pump. They set an appointment to be at the house between 10:00 and 2:00. They arrived at 10:30. Generated an estimate after discussing the best options and suggestions to do more than replace units to make things better. They said they could complete everything (including building up around the heater to make it more secure and up to code) that day. So they started right away and finished by 5:30 and left to complete two other jobs they needed to do that day. They did great work. They were very professional. The heater and circ pump are working great. Would highly recommend them for general plumbing repairs.

We had a gas leak and PG&E shut off our gas. We contacted OC plumbing and he was the fastest plumber to respond and help us find the leak. He even came after ours because he wanted to resolve it for us as quickly as possible so we wouldn't be without hot water for much longer. You can tell Octavio really knows his stuff. He was able to try various things to pressurize our pipe and isolate the leak. We were impressed with how he explained step by step to help us feel secure of the work he was doing. When he found the leak he offered various options for us and fixed it immediately. PG&E came that same day and verified that everything was worked on correctly. We highly recommend OC plumbing! I sent OC Plumbing a request for a quote to fix 1 clogged toilet and fix 1 leaky pipe linked to anothet toilet. I sent my request at 8am and got feedback 10 minutes later! I called in was lucky enough to get an appointment the same day at noon. Diego and associate were professional and personalable. They looked at my issues and gave me an exact total for the services. They got the job done in 15 minutes! I'm happy with the rendered services, but must say my only complaint is the price I paid. Feel it was on the high side, but what can I do? My toilets were backed up for a week. My home warranty sent out other plumbing companies who were ill equipped to fix the problem. What I liked about OC Plumbing is that: 1) they sent their technician Diego immediately, 2) they were available at a time that was convenient for me, 3) they sent you a text message immediately after booking with them, 4) they sent you a text when they were on their way--with a link to track them on a map so you know when they will arrive, 5) they had the proper tools to diagnose, clean out and repair the problem, 6) they took time to explain the problems and what caused it, 7) they suggested options to remedy future problems such as these. Technician Diego and his supervisor Alex was professional, knowledgeable, personable and worked hard to clear out the main line to the toilets. We had a homeowner's nightmare: water coming out from under our driveway, probably a leaking water main. The prospects were grim--and expensive. I called OC Plumbing in the morning, and Octavio came by the same evening, took a look, and prepared me for the possible diagnoses, and the range of solutions that we would have to consider. He made arrangements to have a leak specialist come out and isolate the leak --then he and his helper had it fixed the day after the leak was located. This was not a cheap repair, but I felt that I was treated fairly, with respect and courtesy. Octavio texted me throughout the process to keep me posted, and showed me pictures of the job as it progressed. When I look at the prompt service, the level of professionalism and respect, I feel like it was the best possible outcome for a bad situation. When they left, the driveway was hosed off, and they even tried to replant my wife's irises!
