I called Bailey due to an emergency clog, and even though they had fully booked schedule, they were able to send someone and fix the problem right away.
Elijah, was very helpful and knowledgeable. Great service.

They had a few recommendations to help prevent future clogs and that was helpful to know I would definitely refer these to all my friends and family. Thank you for the quick response and service.

Needed help with a sump pump under the house that had stopped working. Called at 1030 & was able to get someone out the same day by noon.  Elijah was extremely polite & professional. After getting a brief explanation of the problem he geared up & went under the house.

After a short time Elijah was able determine the pump was still functioning, but the circuit had tripped (I had been looking in the wrong spot.  I know I know....major doofus move).

Elijah was straight forward & prompt with his service.  I'll be using Bailey Plumbing in the future for other plumbing services.

If I could rate higher I would!!!  I can always count on Bailey's plumbing to solve any issues with care and urgency.   I've used Bailey plumbing for a few years after calling other companies and I will ALWAYS return to Bailey's.  Tim knows his stuff - knew the problem and helped me to order the part I needed as my shower hardware only could use specific parts.   Tim had to return twice as I had ordered the incorrect part.   He came back and fixed it with no issues... trust me they are the BEST!

Alex and his team were a great help and responded quickly. I had a tankless water heater that wasn't working. They identified the issue immediately and quickly got my hot water back up and running. Alex and all of his team that helped with scheduling, etc were all very professional and friendly. Highly recommend

our experience could have been a disaster, but our technician was extremely capable. Randy was courteous and respectful, while installing a new water heater. We had an internal leak in our tankless water heater (which was only 6 years old). Bailey came out to diagnosis the problem. The tech that came out tried his best to lower the cost of the entire diagnosis and problem. Unfortunately it was still a little high. After consulting with other plumbers in the area, we decided not to continue the process with Bailey. We called them to let them know that other plumbers charged us a much lower rate for a consult and  Bailey was willing to provide us a refund of what we had paid. Thank you!

Buyer beware. I called these guys for a minor gas leak behind my stove. The estimator said it was necessary to cut a 3' diameter hole in the wall to replace a coupling even though it was protruding several inches from the wall and gave me an estimate for $3000. This didn't line up with what the PG&E worker who turned off the gas told me to expect so I called SWAGG plumbing instead. They came out and did the job superbly for less than 1/3 the estimate from Bailey and it was not necessary to cut a hole in the wall at all. Hope you will avoid being grossly overcharged and taken advantage of by avoiding Bailey Plumbing!

Called Bailey over based on a recommendation from a neighbor. The technician they sent out was super friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. After the initial issue wasn't resolved, they determined we had multiple issues under the house that were not expected.

After being given multiple different options, we decided on the best one based on our budget and timeline. The work comes with a warranty, and was well done.

Only concern was the price. I didn't multiple quotes, so I don't have anything to compare it to, but boy plumbing work is expensive!

Our kitchen sink was clogged and our neighbor recommended Bailey Plumbing. Here are pros and cons of the service in my opinion:

Pros: Responded to our request really quickly and in a kind manner. I was not in the house when the plumbers arrived but my husband spoke very highly about their work.They started by quoting us about $500 to unclog the sink. But the drain snake couldn't solve the problem. Then they sent a camera to check and it turns out that our kitchen pipe was badly clogged. According to the camera, there were also some leaks in our bathroom pipes and the sewer. I heard that the plumbers were very nice and professional so he trusted their judgements.

Cons: The price was way too high in my opinion. My husband trusted them and chose one of the five choices they offered us, which was repairing SOME leaks on the sewer (not for the whole house and outside), fixing ONE shower leak (not all of the three bathrooms) and fixing the kitchen drain using ABS with 2 years warranty. Our cost jumped from about $500 to nearly $8K, with no discount at all. The total working hours for this project was 2 hours, from 3pm to 5pm. I fully understand the inflation nowadays. But I still couldn't understand how a 2 hours fixing some leak projects would cost us $8K.

That's to be said, I appreciate their kindness and efficiency. But I think you should request other quotes and compare the prices before agreeing to start the project with them.

Randy did a great job fixing our leak. He is knowledgeable and  a hard worker. Will use him again if need be.

This company is what I want when I call for service. I had nothing but a professional experience from the initial phone call to completion of the job. The service was so good, I started asking what else they could do for me and my house. They redid all of my old plumbing, installed new water heater, toilets, shower valves, faucets and even added a gas line for my.future bbq island! They also gave me a piece of mind knowing that nothing plumbing related will have to be thought of for years. The best part is that their pricing is transparent, and it beats out the other companies that offered quotes. Call this company first!!

My mobile home is quite old and I needed a new toilet and quite a lot of work in my kitchen sink I called Baileys Plumbing and Elijah came over that day and assessed the problems. He was extremely nice and very knowledgeable and helpful . I was very happy and impressed with how helpful he was, explaining every question and concern I had. Tomorrow they are coming back to do the work for me! 5 stars!!

I called Bailey plumbing for a broken hot water heater. They had it installed and fixed within the day of the appointment. Elijah and Jose handled the installation and assessment. Very friendly and efficient. Highly recommend their services.

Dylan came to hook up our sink after new counters were installed. The design of our plumbing wasn't the easiest to work with but Dylan made it work. He was pleasant to talk to. I would recommend Bailey for future plumbing situations.

We've used Bailey for our home residence about three times in the last year and it's evident that this company prioritizes professionalism and customer satisfaction.

Our hot water heater was leaking. I called a number of plumbers and either got voicemail and left a message and never got a call back or they didn't cover our area. Bailey Plumbing called me back within a 1/2 hour and scheduled a tech to come out the next day between 11-1. Elijah called the day of the appointment and said he was finished early with his 1st job and asked to come early he was at my house by 10:30. Of course we needed a new hot water tank. Price was rather steep but in doing research was within standards for our area. Elijah left to get the new tank and was gone about a half hour, he drained and uninstalled the broke tank, replaced all the piping a installed the new tank, cleaned up the area and was out of here by 2pm. He was extremely friendly, efficient and gave some tips on how to maintain the new tank. Fabulous Job!

We hired Bailey to do a complete re-pipe of our drain system, which was very old and cast-iron.

Joe and his crew were very professional and handled everything in a most timely manner, from first contact to the piping, to finishing up the cosmetic aspects. The work was all well-done, and permitted. I literally had to do nothing, Joe and his crew took care of everything. The pricing was reasonable as well.

I just can't say enough about how good my experience was - I'm the kind of guy who doesn't at my age want to chase my tail around, and you'll get none of that here in my view. I would do business with Joe Bailey again in an instant. He's an excellent communicator, excellent plumber, and I couldn't help but notice how well his crew all got along. These folks enjoy working together, and it shows in their attitude, and in the finished product. I can't help but be pleased with the work, and doing business with such a straightforward and honest guy.

Bailey Plumbing has become very expensive. They quote exorbitant prices. I got the under sink RO system installed for $995 and for filter replacement with parts they quoted me $300, that is about 30% cost of installation. This is rip off for returning customers. You are better choosing someone else for under sink RO system

Woke up after Christmas to see that our water heater was leaking all over the garage. Called Bailey Plumbing and had someone at my house in 30 minutes. Got my water heater replaced along with piping and no hassle. Thank you to Elijah for your expertise and help.

Bailey's and especially David was fantastic in my project.   We ran in to issues with the city, but he was professional and available.   In the end they went above and beyond to get my project done.  I highly recommend using them!!!

Quick response! Complete scam. Charged me 129.00 to come out change a faucet. This would go toward cost. Got it and told us 786.00. We had the faucet. Told them no thanks after 5 minutes here and they got to keep the 129.00

Called Bailey Plumbing for a backup issue we had. Within a few hours they cleared our drains and at a fair price we thought. We'll use them again for future problems and recommend to our friends and fam.

I would not not use Bailey Plumbing for sewer lateral inspections. We used them recently, they charged $200 more than other providers to do the inspection. They didn't deliver the inspection video for 2 weeks and they failed the inspection. They kindly offerred to repair the sewer line for $4000+. I'm getting the repair done elsewhere by a licensed comnpany for $1000.

Bailey plumbing installed a tankless water heater which they had with them, probably it didn't work previously for someone & they dumped it on me and now it's not working, so they bought from PNE supplier who in turn bought from Navien, originally I believe PNE rejected to take it back, so they dumped it on me saying it's new and works great, it is under warranty but to make it work with Navien support, this Bailey will again charge for their time, for all the work they do, they desperately keep looking to charge hefty on the customers irrespective of whether they help the customer or screw up the work, the guy David never responds on time when things fail, he doesn't care about customer satisfaction, and the owners of the company will come to talk to you in huge anger if you pin point their foul work, perhaps when things doesn't work that David guy will immediately go on a vacation so that he can totally avoid you.
For every dam thing they will try to charge you in thousands, they are 5 to 10 times more expensive than others, just avoid these guys forever, and wait until you find someone modest.

We had a very pleasant experience with David Coronado, the Bailey Plumbing technician who answered my request to fix one of our  toilets. He was punctual, very pleasant, courteous, and most important of all, he was knowledgeable.
He explained the problem and immediately fixed it. Impressed with his expertise and friendly demeanor, we asked him to come back the following day for our second bathroom. We found Bailey Plumbing on Yelp and we're glad we made the right choice.

Bailey Plumbing has worked on quite a few things around our home- they have great plumbing knowledge, are very responsive, same day availability and fair priced.

Use a service that doesn't charge a diagnostic fee. When you have a sink clog, it's pretty easy to determine u have a sink clog (once u rule out disposal issues for the kitchen). I was told the $89 diagnostic fee would go towards the job but then they quoted me $312 to do the job. . . That's right . . . $312 to spend 30 minutes clearing a drain (comes out to $624 an hour for the mathematically challenged). You can go to Home Depot and purchase an electric 50 ft 1/2 inch line drain snake for less than $400 . . . use it twice or share it with a neighbor and you have more than recouped your cost. This pricing is ridic to say the least.

Guy who came out was a good guy but had to decline . . . I'm still in shock re: the price offered.

I contacted this company via Yelp for a simple faucet replacement. Responsiveness was a problem and when I finally got them to engage, they required I pay in advance to set up an appointment. Actual message from the company: I can get you set up in our system and send the invoice to be paid through email.  Once we receive this payment, your appointment window will be locked in.  This does get credited towards any work that we do for you.  

Wait, you want me to send you money before I even have an appointment set and before anyone shows up at my house? You must be kidding.

Joe Bailey came out and after I described the non-emergency issues I was having, he looked & verified what was needed. I received a professional, fair priced estimate a couple of days later.

John and Elijah came out today and completed the replacement of the failing PRV, replaced all the rusted out plumbing under the kitchen sink,  and installed a new faucet.  Since the old PRV had been causing hammer, Elijah even went under the house to make sure nothing was leaking.

I can't say enough how friendly, professional and safe Joe and his team were in my home. John and Elijah wore masks and booties throughout the job and sanitized everything afterwards. They left my kitchen cleaner than when they began.  I highly recommend Bailey Plumbing for any plumbing installs, upgrades or repairs - large or small.

Was recommended by a friend.  They charge 89 dollars to come out to do an estimate, total waste of money.  Their prices are almost 3x everyone else's.   Know that all these guys that comes out are commissioned based.  I called several companies and baileys was the highest.

Review of Bailey Plumbing in San Jose: That was the most professional and efficient plumbing service team I've encountered. The first plumbers I contacted (The Plumbing Guys) never showed up for my appointments, so I gave Bailey Plumbing a try. Right from the appointment setting, I was thoroughly impressed with their technology using automated emails and text messages. Joe gave me a reasonable and fair quote to fix our leaking toilet. He ordered the part and John was able to replace and install the part the next day. Both Joe and John were very professional and courteous from beginning the the end.

Way too expensive. $429.00 to fix a running toilet!!! Chris was responsive and successfully fixed the toilet. Pricing is out of line and they won't tell you the final price until they arrive.

I've used Bailey Plumbing to replace a hot water heater, snake a main line, and now to install a gas line to the fireplace. They are experts in their field, work wonderfully as a team, and are very clean and respectful. Joe explained the scope of each job clearly and offered fair and reasonable prices. Don't disappoint yourself with any lesser service. I will not trust any of my plumbing projects with anyone else. I highly recommend this business and wish them continued success.

I agreed to pay this company $89 to come to my home to replace a shower valve. I was told that that amount would be applied to the actual  cost for that replacement (time and materials). The rep that came to my home took one very quick look at the valve (I had already taken the handle and trim off, exposing the actual valve), and accessing a computer app estimator, he quoted a $589 cost, less the $89 I prepaid. I said that was an outrageous amount, and asked him to leave. Instead, he took a photo of the valve, called his office and came back to tell me that he would do the job for $489, less the $89. I told him, NO and asked him to leave. I have since had my valve successfully replaced by a handyman for a total cost of $150. The repair took less than one half hour; therefore I would not recommend Bailey Plumbing, Inc. to anyone!!!

We discovered two leaks under our house and we had no water pressure and no hot water.  We called Bailey plumbing and they fit us in to to check the problem and fixed everything the next day. thank you very much for all of your help.

Bailey plumbing sent a plumber to make an estimate. He was very polite and professional. However the cost that came back was at least 50% higher than I believe warranted for the work.

My water main valve was mal-functioning and I was able to get a same day appointment with Bailey. Chris is very professional and replaced my water main valve with no problems. For 600ish dollars, I am very happy with the job.

We had a great experience with Bailey Plumbing. They sent a text when they were on their way and arrived early within the expected arrival time frame. Turns out we needed to give the other units in our building 48 hours notice before we turned the water off, so David had to come back two days later. He was flexible and professional. He did not charge us for a second visit, and they were able to fit us in later that week so we could get our sink fixed as soon as possible. He solved the problem and replaced a few other things in a very short amount of time. I will definitely be recommending them to anyone who asks.

Should have never trusted someone that charges $89 just to make an appointment to come look at the job. Would not say what their hourly rate was when making appointment. They came and gave a quote so high we said forget it. Got another quote that was half theirs. Paid $89 for someone to come out for maybe 10 minutes. There are plenty of plumbers that will give you a quote without charging an appointment fee. Based on the time it took the other plumbers to do the job, Baileys was charging $600/hour.

Bailey Plumbing repaired a leak in my copper water main.  They came out quickly, gave me a quote for the work to replace the main and scheduled the repair work promptly.  They always showed up on time (or even early) and were very professional at all times.  They kept me updated as the work went along.  I was impressed also that they avoided as many plants as possible when digging the trench and gave me options for one trench that needed to go through concrete.  

Because the work was complete just before a big storm, the trenches couldn't be filled in right away, but they were careful to cover up the dirt with tarps.  When they came out to fill in the trenches, they did an excellent job.  They had cut an irrigation line during the work, so they replaced it and made sure all the plants had drip lines to the new line.  They even gave me a bag of extra connectors and drip line in case I wanted to add to what they had done.  They power washed the driveway were the dirt piles were.  They left the site looking better than before.

I highly recommend Bailey Plumbing.

I'll bet you could pay a plumber less and my experience is that you get less. Bailey plumbing is not likely to be the cheapest - or the most expensive** - but the estimate you get, and the work done will be thorough and complete.

Bailey plumbing was referred by our contractor (Classic Kitchens of Almaden). In keeping with all the skilled trade referrals, Bailey plumbing (especially Joe) was just awesome.  Work was done quickly, carefully and completely in adding new plumbing and a gas line for our kitchen remodel.  Joe is easy to work with, willing to fully explain whatever you ask, and will give you alternatives to consider.

I told Joe that we had had some serious drain problems, and I wanted to find out what the state of our waste lines was. The bad news is that a camera down our line showed that our 60 year old cast iron pipes had issues. The worse news was that the total cost was going to be quite high to replace all the pipes under our house AND the waste line from the house to the city hook up.

Joe brought a legion of guys and got the work done very quickly with minimal disruption to us - including adding a clean-out so that the city tree that is getting nourished by invading the sewer line is now the responsibility of the city, not us!

**For perspective, I had a plumber estimate the cost of replacing the sewer line from our house to the city - NOT including replacing the cast iron under our house - and that plumber gave me a HUGE round number that was greater than the cost of ALL of the work that Joe's crew actually did - and that plumber hadn't even camera'd the line to know where the problem actually might be.

I'd call Bailey plumbing for anything and everything going forward because quality work done neatly, skillfully and timely is something of high value to us.

I have to say this is one of the most profession and customer service orientated businesses. From the start Nicole who answered the phone had the answers I needed and was quick to find me an appointment. Her patients and service were above excellent. When David showed before the scheduled time, he was very professional, honest and straight to the point. David is by far one of the best I have come across when dealing with plumbers. His service nothing but top quality. bailey's plumbing will definitely be my go to plumber for future repairs. Thank you again for the great customer service.

Unfortunately when you need a plumber, it's never a good situation. Desperate for a plumber, we called around and we got the best quote/estimate from Bailey. The person we were communicating with even said they had availability the next day since we needed service as soon as possible. Well, when we tried to confirm the time, we got no response back. So we called and even left a voicemail so that we get in touch with someone but never received a call back. Crazy that they were responsive at first but then went MIA after that. Super frustrating...

I had a badly blocked Kitchen drain pipe. After multiple failed attempts attempts at clearing it myself, decided to call a professional. I made contact through Angie's List.   The first call I received was from a different Plumbing Company ( based in Fremont-covered the Bay Area) The second call I got was from James Bailey (Bailey Plumbing-Morgan Hill/Gilroy).  I wanted to support local business and James was very professional and honest with all my questions. Spoke about his brother Joe, who actually does the field work,  in a real BIG way. There was absolutely NO disappointment! Joe was definitely there to get my problem resolved and didn't stop until it got done. Great job Joe! Great company with Great People.

I had a garbage disposal problem and needed some quick help. I talked to Joe who is such a good guy he tried to walk me through fixing it myself. I hired him to come and he found a space in his busy schedule to come and fix the problem. Problem solved!

If you are looking for a top notch plumber then Bailey Plumbing is your company! Joe is extremely professional and knows his stuff. I had a water heater situation and had several companies out to trouble shoot the issue within 2 minutes Joe knew what the issue was and fixed it. His work is excellent! I'm thankful to now know such a great plumber!

My son flushed a toy down the toilet and it caused a clog. I requested a quote from a couple businesses and Bailey Plumbing was quick to respond with a great price. They were available when I needed to schedule. Communication was awesome with reminder texts and a text when they were on the way. Plumber did an awesome job and was honest about what may need to happen. Luckily he was able to push the toy through and checked multiple times to make sure everything was good before leaving. I highly recommend this company. Very punctual, honest, and priced right. Thanks so much for the help!!!

My water heater started leaking yesterday afternoon.   Sent a message to Bailey and got a quick response from Joseph the owner with a reasonable quote, a couple options on water heater brands and an opening for install the next day.   Team came out, did a great job on the install, cleaned everything up and were gone all in an afternoon.   Great experience overall.

Cannot recommend Joe and his crew enough! Our contractor referred him when I had two other exorbitant quotes from local plumbers. Joe came out the next day to look at the job and was HALF the price. He also suggested option upgrades to bring the project up to code and itemized his quote so we could decide each option. He was able to start the very next day! He was available by text & asked our opinion when it came for esthetics. He & his crew stayed until dark and got the job done in one day because he knew we were on a time schedule.  They had to trench (told you, big job) and you wouldn't have even know they were there!  They cleaned up and put everything back to normal. We have finally found a fabulous local plumber!!  Highly recommend

Seems like Joe had a real family emergency and he felt really sorry for the way he left me waiting. This time he offered me free install of the faucet that I ordered online and cleared one of the toilet clogs. Despite my attempts to pay for the service Joe said I am really sorry for your experience and consider this my token of gratitude for letting me come by and complete the work. Now why did leave the 1 star off and give 4 stars .. well turns out there is a small gap between the kitchen sink and the platform, which is a bigger leak than the filter faucet. I wish the first inspection identified this. Now I have to wait and find the right people to fix the Cualking or even worse replace the kitchen sink. All in all I am extremely happy with the punctuality of this company. They promise to be on time and 2 times in a row a minute before shceduled time slot. They give an exact time for appointment instead of a 2 hour window like most other facilities companies do. Keep up the good work. Leaving my previous review here for historical reference only

I would have given negative stars if it was possible.
Looking at only 2 reviews on Yelp for this new business wanted to try them. The first impression was good. They responded with a quote within an hour. Scheduled diagnostic appointment with a note: 89$ cost will be used towards repairs. Tech arrived one minute before scheduled time. I was impressed and happy.

Fast forward to estimate for repairs it was high. and when called Mr Joe was rude and said you run a business and tell me how much it will take to repair these things. and by the way to sent my technician back after diagnosis so 89$ will be not be subtracted from total for repairs. Then after a few phone calls, text messages Joe agreed to cover the 89$ into repair cost. and scheduled repair appointment.

30 mins before scheduled appointment time I get a text from Joe saying he has a family emergency. I hope all is well. Then no response to my calls, voicemails or text messages. At least have the human courtesy to let me know you are not available. Never going to call this guy again.
Joe doesn't know how to handle business and clients. Very poor customer service

I selected my star rating for Bailey Plumbing and you get this note from the yelp dialog box - Woohoo! As good as it gets! That pretty much sums up my experience with Bailey Plumbing. I had a serious water leak under my home. I was made aware of it from inspectors making a pass at a normal home inspection for sale purposes. Their response to the water was - it's normal for all the rain we have had, or it a property drainage problem. Not satisfied with that , I did call in plumber who checked it from the access point enough to say, nothing there to worry about. I watched the issue over several months, water never went away, always seemed new water was appearing. Enter a old, continuing problem of my drain pipes constantly backing up. Sure, I could clear it myself, just could not understand why is was happening every 6 months. Enough stress of not knowing. I did my yelp search for a plumber - thank you all who did your reviews on Bailey Plumbing. Joseph and his crew are everything you all say he/they are. Personable, Professional, VERY fair price and quick. My first meeting with Joseph was great and it was a pleasure to watch this man (after a few words describing my issue with the plumbing and standing water) he tells me, we can fix this and dives (no kidding - pulled the access hatch and just dove in) I did not hear from him for a good 15 minutes. I could hear him pulling himself around on the ground, just could not see him. I hear him - turn on the water to the shower. Okay? I turn it on, return to the access hatch for further instructions and hear found the problem. So confident and as a matter of fact, I instantly felt relived that I'm in good hands here, and to be completely honest, at this point, I did not care what it was going to cost me. I knew from our first conversation, the way he presented himself, the listening and how he was interactive, that he would be completely honest in the trade work, the solution and of course the price. He did not disappoint. If I can pay anything forward, this is it. If you have ANY issues with plumbing, bring in Baily Plumbing. You too will not be disappointed.
