I have been using Gunning Plumbing  for the past 15 years.  Jerry is very honest and  professional.  He knew exactly what our issue was.   He goes above and beyond.

On Sunday afternoon, all of our bathtubs and toilets had a backflow issue.
I requested a quote from yelp and got a very first response from James.
I was hesistant first but after reading other reviews, I decided to give it try.
James received a call. After listening to my problem, he gave me the cost up front in detail.  He patiently answered all our questions and told me he would arrive in an hour. He arrived on time and he immediately diagnosed the issue. (It was the tree root that got into our main pipe!) James cleared out all those roots thoroughly.  He made sure everything is working. He kept his words on the price. If I ever need any plumbing services in the future, I will definitely call him again.

I can't say enough great things about Jay. We have used him twice so far on our condo in Mission Valley and he has always come the same day and been super helpful. This last time he came out he was texting with my husband over the course of a half-hour to help fix the problem (and/or get more information) before he arrived. He stayed for two hours and did an extensive search for the source of our water leak coming out of some air vents in the downstairs part of the condo.

He's very reasonably priced and worth every penny. We can't recommend him enough! He will continue to be our go-to-guy until we go broke from living in San Diego and are forced to move to Oklahoma. ha

Our outside water valve was leaking, wasting water and needed to be replaced. Nathan came out within 48 hours and fixed the issue. Looks and works great. Would highly recommend for any plumbing or water issues within your home.

I can't say enough nice things about Joyce plumbing.  The owner, John, first did work for me when I did a major kitchen remodel about 9 years ago.  He was extremely professional, always on time, and very respectful about working inside my home.  

I recently had to call them as I had a major clog in my sewage drain for the laundry and kitchen drains.  He sent his assistant, Denver, out to work on the problem.  He was thorough and completed the work quickly.  

I have a big sewer pipe replacement project coming up this spring, and I will definitely be calling Joyce plumbing to do the work!

Christian Arguilez installed a new water pressure regulator valve for us. He was on time, pleasant and explained everything before and after completion of installation. These guys are great and they're very competitive on pricing! I highly recommend! A+

Sergio and his coworker were great. They showed up on time and really went the extra mile. I use contractors for my clients with my business whenever there's a need. My client purchased a new ceiling fan to replace the old one. There was an issue with the fan not working properly after being installed but Sergio stayed longer than expected to find the root cause of the problem. Everything turned out great, they got the new fan working and didn't charge me more than the original quote. I will definitely be calling him next time one of my clients needs some work done. My client was very happy with the work, Thank you!!

I recently bought a house in Chula Vista , CA.

I was in the middle of replacing a utility sink faucet unit and supply line, but felt a bit uneasy when I saw how corroded the old supply lines and valves were.  I checked Yelp! for a major SD plumbing company, but saw it got only 3 stars on average, and lots of complaints among the comments.

I scanned other listings and found that Bob the Plumber had 45 reviews with an overall rating of 4.5, and many were 5 stars raves.

I called and Bob responded quickly, and set up an appointment for two hours later.  He was prompt, courteous and got everything fixed and working within a half hour.  He did a neat, quick and efficient job at a reasonable price.

I'd certainly call him again.  My only regret is that, when I put the extension on my house, he does not do that type of work. I would have hired him in a flash for that job.

Steve and James were my technicians that installed my two story home with a brand new Air Conditioning unit.
They were amazing!!!!  Not only did they do a great job and were very professional.....but they are the most respectful and genuine guys!!!!  I am so pleased to have contracted TARPY for this big job..... again I am so pleased especially with this heat wave here in east county......they are truly the best!!!!!

Art came and did a great job with a leaking hot and cold water corroded pipe. He was friendly and affordable and quick. He showed up within a few hours of calling.

Bob Hauer Plumbing came highly recommended on NextDoor, so I called for a quote.  He came out and, most importantly, made friends with my dogs.  :)  He provided a quote, and got me on the schedule as soon as I accepted.  He accommodated my request for early morning, which is a huge help.
I had him installing a whole home water purification system that I had purchased independently.  He told me it would take just about all day, which surprised me.  However, once you see the finished product, it is a beautiful sight to behold.  
He used copped piping as we discussed.  He placed the system where we discussed, and it is oddly nice looking.  
He took additional steps I noticed along the way - like tying back my plants to both hold them out of his way, and to protect them.  It looked like pigtails and ponytails!  

Once he got going, he worked steadily and was chipper, kind of singing along to some 90s jams as he worked, and he sounded like he was in a great mood!  I work from home, so it was a nice touch nice having a cheerful person to hear in the background, just going about his business happily.

Now - my 1968 house ALWAYS brings complications and surprises.  This time was no exception, unfortunately.  Twice it foiled him - temporarily.  

When this happened, he would work until he could not - always leavi g me with working, running water, and cleaned up pristinely.  

Now, I know we all EXPECT co tractors to clean up.  Its part of the gig.  I dont think I have ever ever seen a cleaner site.  Each time he left, it may have been cleaner than when he got there.  No exaggeration, we all have trees and yard debris.  It has been a rainy, windy winter in San Diego - I think he swept up some of my leaves in addition.  

Bob was always pleasant, calm, personable, and sweet.  Even when he ran in to surprises that necessitated extra time or supplies, he informed me with a smile.  When he told me about one of the complications, and I replied Can that be done??  He replied I can do anything  with a smile.  

I would wholeheartedly recommend his plumbing services.

Marco is extremely professional! He arrived early and was very prepared. He fixed my dryer and cleaned it thoroughly. He left the laundry room spotless. Fair price and great service. Highly recommend! I'll be reaching out to him again if needed.

We recently got a new sink and countertop installed so we needed all our kitchen plumbing reconnected.  Robert came out this morning and was very knowledgeable and helpful in getting our faucet, dishwasher, and garbage disposal connected. His quote was the actual price he charged me on the invoice. The work was done quickly and professionally. I'll definitely look to use Pro Plumbing and Drains for any future plumbing needs.

I have used Plein Plumbing for the last 7 years and I am very impressed with the service and quality I receive each time.  This is a family run business that prides itself on customer service.  Steve Plein has installed our water heater, installed our dishwasher, replaced our faucets, replaced our home's pressure regulator, and even came out after-hours once when we had a leaky pipe.  His rates are always competitive, and he values repeat business.  Steve and his wife Chris (who answers the phone and coordinates the schedule) are amazing.

I called them over to remove an old faucet and install a new one in my daughter's bathroom.  They were going to charge me $900 but since it was a Wednesday I'd get 15% percent off!  I couldn't believe it and asked them if they were joking...nope.  I called out regular plumber and he came over the same day and had the job done in 20 minutes!  He charged me $60!

I needed a new water heater and called Anderson Plumbing since I've had good service from them in the past.  Samuel Marquez and Justin Moreau were the technicians who came to my home.  They were professional, friendly, courteous, respectful of my home and most importantly, very knowledgeable in their field.  My water heater looks great, heats great and since I signed up for the VIP membership, Anderson Plumbing will service my water heater on a regular basis.  That is one less thing for me to worry about.  I've never drained a water heater in my life, and now I'm happy to know that it will be looked after as it should be.  I recommend Anderson Plumbing because they are so professional and very responsive to your needs.
