Needed to have the very basic worn out on/off switch for the lights in my bathroom replaced.  Also was told by another electrician that 1 outlet in my bedroom's basic wires were crossed and needed to be corrected, even though it's been that way since 1966 and works fine . So had an appointment with PLP&E. The electrician quoted me $400 to do that work. I was so shocked. Really? They're simple things that have instructions on Utube on how to do, but you would think having a professional electrician do the work is safer. Well, not if you're an older woman owning a small condo in Point Loma. To make things even worse, a man from the company called this morning to follow up. I told him the situation and he said they do quality work and they guarantee it.  Really? $400 for half an hour of work, if that long? So, he ended by saying he would get back to me next week. OMG.. so... think twice before calling these people who are just looking to take advantage of people.

These guys are reliable, show up on time, do everything the right way and explain their process if you ask. They also give you a range of solutions if they're available and the pros and cons of each.

I can't say enough about these guys.  They responded to my request super fast and a price that I couldn't say no to.  Communication was awesome and planning was coordinated with precision and professionalism.  These guys came in on time as arranged, removed I pile of junk i would say in about 20 minutes and did it efficiently without any complaints or being judgemental.

It is really hard to give the young generation credit for working hard but these guys showed that hard working people are still out there.

I called Pure Window Cleaning because they had good reviews. They were friendly on the phone, and we're able to set up an appointment within a couple days. They showed up on time, gave me the price upfront, then did the work faster than any previous window cleaners I've had. The windows were cleaner than ever when they left, so I set up with then to come out 3 times a year to keep the windows looking good. Very satisfied

Today I had their technician Justin Miller stop by my house to do an evaluation/repair of my furnace. I was speechless about his knowledge, attitude and professional ethic. He went above and beyond what I was expecting. He immediately identified the problem and recommended a solution without any pressure. I am confident about his judgement. As a note, I had 4 licensed technicians come to my house and none were able to provide me with a clear response. Keep up the good work.

Have used Pip a few times in the past several years, but I was really disappointed that he cancelled last second after setting an appointment day on an emergency repair. I lost several days waiting on a repair that could have gone to another plumber. The best he could offer was Its not something I have time to mess with. Sorry. I guess his repeat customers aren't important.

Shawn has been our go to plumber several times over the last few years.  He is one hard working family man.  Very professional with a wonderful personality.  I wouldn't use anyone else.

I recently was faced with major plumbing emergencies at my residential rental property. Our property manager recommended I get multiple quotes, including one from Daniel's Plumbing & Son, who they recommended. Their estimate was very competitive. I've had repairs done by larger San Diego plumbing companies in the past but opted to go with Daniel's and I'm INCREDIBLY GLAD I did.

Steve, Daniel's son services the San Diego area and was present and hands-on onsite at my project site. It was evident that he has years of experience as he walked me through the multiple repairs. His communication is stellar as well...he's highly responsive and professional.

Steve and his team were such an amazing asset during a stressful time. Once Steve and his team were onsite and in motion I had complete faith that the repairs were being done correctly and in a timely manner I was able to exhale.

Two $9 screw on valve replacements and I was quoted $517 to replace. I explained that I know each part is $9, and I was told I pay for the service and guarantee. No thanks!

My upstairs bathtub was making gurgling noises when I flushed the toilet. I called my usual plumber in Vista and told her my concern. I was told that it sounds like my main water line needs to be cleaned out but doesn't have anyone until Monday next week unless I activate EMERGENCY SERVICES. I called Robert at Vanguard. (per recommendation from my neighborhood email posts-NEXTDOOR) I told him my dilemma. He asked how often I used my bathtub. I replied NEVER. He stayed on the line and told me to run water into my tub for 5 seconds, let it drain and then flush the toilet. NO MORE NOISES from my tub. He explained that there is a water trap for my tub, but since I don't use it, it had dried out and echoes water draining from my tub. Had nothing to do with the 'main water line'. Robert charged me nothing for the phone call. I cannot express how grateful I am. Vanguard Plumbing is my main plumber from here on out!!! WOW!! Thanks Robert!

Had my faucet replaced by Roby. He was very professional and did an excellent job.  Will keep their number for future plumbing jobs. Highly recommend.

After realizing I had no hot water in one shower when I was caregiving for my older sister who was handicapped and unable to climb stairs, I called my usual plumber that I had used in the past.  I'm still waiting for a return call two weeks later actually.  Thank goodness I found Bob from RJB as a recommendation on Nextdoor!   He was at my door literally an hour later and determined the problem and went above and beyond to get the parts needed to correct the problem.  He also took care of 2 other items that needed attention.   Bob is kind, professional, honest and a delight to work with.  He's going to be my go-to plumber from now on.

My water heater stopped working and r & j responded next morning  and got it going again. Technician was very professional and even called me the next day to confirm it was still working.

We've used Gary on several occasions, and will continue to use him. He is always prompt, courteous and friendly. Does not over charge. During COVID-19, he wore a mask and we social distanced. Highly recommend!

I'm happy with Mark's service. As part of a remodel project, we had a drain that need to be reconfigured. Once we had the appointment squared away, Marked arrived on time (very rare with contractors these days). The job was performed diligently and at a fair price. He even wore shoe covers to prevent staining my carpet.

A part of the job was quite a bit complicated and right away Mark informed me that he isn't properly equipped to do this part of job. He quickly referred me to another plumber and even made an appointment for me to come out the next day. Others may look at it and literally bite off more they can chew, charging into the project only to get problems left and right... So, its a sigh of relief, ahha.

Tips:  Mark is a very well known company here, so appointments may be couple days out. However, well worth the wait.
