I like that Point Loma was fast at getting back to customers. Something disappointing was Point Loma provided a 4 hour time period to show up for the initial estimation, but they cancelled on the very last hour. In the second appointment, two electricians who came were friendly and professional; however, they gave me an estimation of $1945 to replace two bathroom exhaust fans while the other company just replaced them for $600.

Our kitchen faucet was faulty and had a leak that was pooling up under the sink cabinet.  I called Bill, he told me a good brand to get (Moen), I picked it up at Home Depot and he came over that same day and installed it.  Good advice, fast service!

We had an excellent experience with our whole house repiping.  The crew was on time & did the job exactly as agreed to.  Cameron was honest, straight forward and fair in arranging this job.  I'd highly recommend this company.

My aging parents were in need of an inspection on their existing heater. They had a coupon for Same Day Heating and Air conditioning so they called them up and scheduled an appointment. During the inspection it was discovered their system was not functioning properly and there could be a fire danger. We received a quote on the spot for a quality replacement unit. The installation team came the very next morning and installed the unit. They were neat and respectful throughout the whole process.

I highly recommend this company. They are top notch and very good at what they do. They answered all my parents questions along the way and the new unit is working great. I promise you will not be disappointed.

I found out on Sunday afternoon that we had a broken pipe just inside the main valve to our house that was causing water to run like a stream down our street.  I had never used a plumber in Oceanside before, so I didn't know who to call.  After seeing reviews for The Works Plumbing on Yelp, I called first thing on Monday morning hoping they would be able to get someone out in the next day or 2.  Shawn was at my house within 45 minutes of making the call.  He was professional, courteous, and extremely helpful.  He had the job done within 3 hours despite the fact that he had to dig up the pipe in our front yard, and he didn't even charge me for the time he spent going out to purchase parts he didn't already have.  He even gave me some helpful advice on fixing another minor problem I had without spending extra money, and then he came back the next day to backfill the hole he dug to expose the pipe.  I was amazed at how smoothly the entire process went and how affordable it was.  Now I know for sure who I will be calling the next time I need a plumber!

Five years ago I moved into a condo that had been previously owned by a DIY buff. Blinds were hung upside down, hot and cold water swapped, plumbing under the kitchen sink not to code; the list goes on and on.  A year ago, I noticed when I took a shower that the shower pan felt crumbly beneath my feet. Fortunately, I have a second bathroom so switched to using that one. Covid-19 hit and it wasn't a good time to fix it. But I have had this dread, worrying about water damage below the shower pan for which I would be liable (and certainly worried about water damage to the neighbor below me).

My realtor recommended Pacific Drain & Plumbing. Ryan coordinated everything, and Vu and Carlos installed a new shower. Vu fixed the peculiar marginal things he found, even making a trip to the hardware store. I am so grateful to Vu for the wonderful, meticulous job he and Carlos did!

We're back in the purple tier with covid-19, but Ryan, Vu, and Carlos wore masks and I was completely comfortable with them being in my home.

I admire the DIY spirit. But professionals need to fix plumbing and electrical issues in a condo complex. I'll rely on Pacific Drain & Plumbing for future needs.

We had slow-draining bathroom and kitchen, a smelly drain, and a few other plumbing concerns.  After 2 plumbers with whom we hadn't been satisfied, I looked to Yelp for another plumbing company, and Daniel's Plumbing & Son had 6 five-star reviews, so clearly liked, but not well experienced? (They solved all of our plumbing issues -- details below.)

I phoned, and Steve and I had a long, informative and listening conversation.  We scheduled service, and he, Art, and Manny arrived, only to find a misaligned sewer-pipe junction with a camera...in the middle of our house...ugh.  We scheduled for the jackhammering and other items we wanted fixed (e.g. water-hammer arresters), and after a short medical-emergency delay for which Steve was clearly sorry and nervous I'd be upset (I wasn't.), they performed all of the work in 2 days.

Steve and Art pulled in their father, the eponymous Daniel, and he helped solve the misaligned sewer problem.  Art found two small leaks from the previous plumber's work, and he fixed them without charging.  They solved the hot/cold water mixing problem we had throughout the house (found crossed water lines at the hot water heater) and solved that.  They installed 4 water-hammer arresters in our lines and we no longer experience the daily explosions in our house multiple times a day (yay!).  And, finally, our sinks/tubs are draining much better.

The best part is that, even though Daniel's Plumbing & Son did not re-tile the tiles they'd jackhammered, after we finally replaced the tile ourselves (3 weeks, due to concrete dry time, 1 weekend trip, and 1 week trip), they came out the day after I said the tile was done to reinstall the toilet.  Can't ask for better service than that!

I highly recommend this company.  Communication is prompt and thoughtful.  Questions answered.  Payment easy (invoice emailed and all payments available; I paid by check, but could have with CC).  Work, so far (3 weeks later), remains as expected.

My first experience with Pristine Plumbing was excellent because they not only diagnosed the problem I had with my toilet, but they also made recommendations that affected the entire home and prevented further (costly) damage down the road.  I felt confident that my issues were handled with care and attention by Dwain.  He even found problems that other plumbers made and told me how to get them resolved.  I feel like I might be paying more for their service, but you get what you pay for - you don't want to cut corners or second guess plumbing issues when you own your home and want to maintain it well.  Also, you might find someone cheaper, but their mistakes can cost you.  The second experience with Pristine went well - Dwain came out again, so I had someone familiar to come to our home, and this was on a Sunday.  He is so wonderful!  He made sure to diagnose our problem effectively and also advised that we get water damage handled right away because it was toilet water and how the trapped moisture could cause mold, further problems down the road.  I immediately took action, thanks to him, and now am in a much better situation than if I had just fixed the immediate plumbing problem and not taken care of the water damage.  Thank you very much, Pristine Plumbing and Dwain!

Honest. On time.  Tests water regulator. A very extremely fair price. Bob is a one person shop--and comes from a plumbing family. His work ethic is tops and other companies should strive for. We had singing pipes from the master commode. He came in, analyzed and told me his price. Using master grade replacement parts, got the job done. Nice touches and left the area very, very clean. Being very experienced in maintenance and repair through my business, I have dealt with all types of contractors, plumbers, handymen, etc.. It is invaluable to have good contacts. After moving to the Poway area, I knew my previous plumber would not travel this far. I used yelp to find Ray's plumbing, and it was spot on!

After searching through Yelp, we saw a picture of a guy and his wrench. A plumber without a wrench is something to be wary of. I went to his business website and e-mailed him about our situation. Within the same day, he responded back with a straight and no fuss answer right away. He said he was available to do the work and would be there on Saturday at 2 pm. Well, Done Deal and BOOKED! When Saturday came along, we had another contractor doing some work, but then Mark texted me saying he can come earlier. For sure, if he can be done with one job, he can be at mine right now.

He came in at 1 pm and quickly introduced himself. No small talk and straight to the job. I showed him the laundry room and the rusted Washer Connections or BIBS. He said it was pretty simple. He walked outside and shutoff the water. I helped a little by opening the water faucets in the bathroom and kitchen to make sure we don't have any leftover water in the pipes. Basically, relieving the pressure on the pipes. Within seconds, he grabbed his tools from his van and got to work.

I didn't want to be bothering him while he worked. In under 30 minutes, probably even 20 minutes, he was done. He turned on the water and all the faucets were properly flowing. He was earlier than expected, he got the job done, and he was quick and simple. All I did was text him pictures and an address. Even before he left, we had a problem with a lock that we couldn't open. A key padlock. I asked him to open one since the previous owner lost his key. Mark said that Plumbers have the most tools of all trades. I guess so if he can cut through a padlock with ease.

Efficient Plumbing is a mobile service and a ONE man shop. Its not about the size of a company, but how one man does a job. I would call/text Mark in an instant if we have a project that calls for some improvement. I look forward to getting someone in and getting out.
