I WAS IN SHOCK!!!

I had a relatively small electrical job requiring the installation of two new sconces and the replacement of two existing ones, replacing an existing wall dimmer and mounting a separate wireless dimmer on a wall. Using wiremold, the ENTIRE in-wall wiring would total about 12 and right above existing dimmer switch!  My common sense estimate was that it would probably take two or three hours.  

The good - Point Loma Electric was very responsive and the man who arrived to give me the estimate was professional. Because I didn't use them, I have no way of knowing the quality of their work.

The bad is inexcusable- I was then handed an estimate for the job of slightly over $2500! I questioned the technician about such an outrageous quote and he told me unexpected surprises could occur. I  challenged him to come up with one even slightly reasonable example of that on my job. He could not.  He also stated that they were not the cheapest in town. Quite the understatement!

I then proceeded to request estimates from other electricians. Each one ranged from about $500 to $700. I priced out all the parts on Amazon and purchased them all for slightly under $100.  I then proceeded to hire an electrician. I supplied the parts and he quoted $500 for labor. In slightly less than three hours, the job was completed perfectly and professionally. To me, there is no ethical way to charge $2500 for a job that virtually all competitors quoted 80% less!  Buyer beware and definitely shop around. I've attached the estimate to this review.

We had a toilet at a rental property that was clogged and in bad shape. We needed same day help since we were trying to clean the place and needed access to facilities. Bob came out about an hour after we called, fitting us into his busy schedule for the day.

He fixed the clog and made recommendations for some things he saw in the bathroom that also needed to be addressed.

I called C&C Plumbing twice and the customer service is beyond expectations each time. They are very helpful and aren't out to squeeze a nickel. They are very polite and kind. I will call them for any plumbing needs and will highly recommend them.

What an incredible company! If anyone has a bunch of boxes or junk piling up that they need hauled away, I highly recommend Green Earth. They are truly sweet and compassionate people who want to help out the community and the planet. I had a ton of shipping boxes and recycling piling up from all the recent quarantine shipments. Our recycling bin was too full (we share it with the wonderful people downstairs), so the boxes were just accumulating in the hall (stressful. Oy!). Came across Green Earth San Diego on Yelp, and saw on their website that they haul recycling away. They also help the community by helping upcycle and donate unwanted items to those who can use them! Super fast response time and they hauled our stuff away beautifully...I don't know if they literally used a broom to clean the street/sidewalk area where we left things, but everything looked pristine after! No pieces of boxes or paper were left behind! They followed social distancing and just picked things up from the curb, no contact necessary. Extremely sweet, helpful people with wonderful ethics. A company that has good values, does a great job providing a service, gets back to you quickly, is eco-friendly, and cares for others is one I absolutely support. Excited to use them again. Due to my health issues, I can't go out right now, so I was so stoked to find a place that had the earth in mind with regard to all of these shipments I've been getting. They cleared our clutter, eased some of my stress, and were a joy to hire/communicate with. :) Check them out if you need to get rid of anything: Recycling, furniture, junk, etcetera. They will help donate what is usable to those in need and haul away the rest of it. So grateful for you guys, Green Earth!  You made our lives easier! Thank you again so much! As a property manager, I found Pure Cleaning through one of my Board members. They recommended them for a unique building on the ocean with glass railings. Cade and his staff were always super responsive and did an excellent job. They paid attention to detail and communicated well with onsite residents.

Over time, we had them do more work like specialty metal cleaning and power washing and then I got them involved with other properties I managed. They are super easy to work with, reasonably priced and produce a good result making my company look good as well. I would recommend them to anyone.

We used TS Backflow recently for our annual backflow test/certification.  Timothy was super quick to respond to our request via Yelp, and was able to come out the next day to our place in Escondido.  The testing process was quick, and Timothy even cc'ed us when emailing the report to our water district.  Highly recommended!

This is a terrific business!  Pip is wonderful!  I have used him several times and got the job done quickly and efficiently.  He is professional and courteous!  I highly recommend Pip and this business!

Shawn is friendly and a first-rate professional.  He quickly cleared gunk out of two drains that we had wasted a lot of time trying to clear with chemicals and the old baking soda / vinegar trick.

None of that had worked, in fact it seems to never work.  In the future, we'll just call Shawn and The Works Plumbing as soon as a problem arises.

We had a major leak in the ceiling between the first and second story of our house. Mike from Geottl came out within a half an hour, diagnosed what needed to be done and explained everything thoroughly. He arranged a special crew to come out right away. 5 stars.

Grant and Ricky (the special crew) were outstanding. They arrived quickly and were able to replace 40 feet of old type M copper line in the ceiling. Everything went smoothly and the cleanup was well done. 5 stars.

Very good service, prompt, efficient, communicative, and effective.

We had slow-draining bathroom and kitchen, a smelly drain, and a few other plumbing concerns.  After 2 plumbers with whom we hadn't been satisfied, I looked to Yelp for another plumbing company, and Daniel's Plumbing & Son had 6 five-star reviews, so clearly liked, but not well experienced? (They solved all of our plumbing issues -- details below.)

I phoned, and Steve and I had a long, informative and listening conversation.  We scheduled service, and he, Art, and Manny arrived, only to find a misaligned sewer-pipe junction with a camera...in the middle of our house...ugh.  We scheduled for the jackhammering and other items we wanted fixed (e.g. water-hammer arresters), and after a short medical-emergency delay for which Steve was clearly sorry and nervous I'd be upset (I wasn't.), they performed all of the work in 2 days.

Steve and Art pulled in their father, the eponymous Daniel, and he helped solve the misaligned sewer problem.  Art found two small leaks from the previous plumber's work, and he fixed them without charging.  They solved the hot/cold water mixing problem we had throughout the house (found crossed water lines at the hot water heater) and solved that.  They installed 4 water-hammer arresters in our lines and we no longer experience the daily explosions in our house multiple times a day (yay!).  And, finally, our sinks/tubs are draining much better.

The best part is that, even though Daniel's Plumbing & Son did not re-tile the tiles they'd jackhammered, after we finally replaced the tile ourselves (3 weeks, due to concrete dry time, 1 weekend trip, and 1 week trip), they came out the day after I said the tile was done to reinstall the toilet.  Can't ask for better service than that!

I highly recommend this company.  Communication is prompt and thoughtful.  Questions answered.  Payment easy (invoice emailed and all payments available; I paid by check, but could have with CC).  Work, so far (3 weeks later), remains as expected.

Cameron White was professional and friendly.   He diagnosed the problem with our leaking kitchen faucet, cleaned out our water heater and was detailed and forthcoming about the repair and services performed.  Would definitely recommend Cameron and Pristine Plumbing!

Responded on short notice and fixed my leaking regulator promptly and for a fair price.  I definitely will call them again.

I posted a while ago about issues installing my bidet and needed help. I never got it right so I called George Davis Plumbing. Roby was over within an hour, found my mistake, was super kind, and didn't make me feel stupid. The repair was quick. I am so thankful to have a fully functioning toilet again. I highly recommend them.
Also he showed up in a mask and wore it the whole time. It really made me feel safe too.

We needed our kitchen faucet replaced (along with a repair to the air gap and disposal button mount) and RJB Plumbing was available on weekends so we booked for first thing Saturday morning. Bob (the owner) came out and checked out the set-up, gave me a very reasonable quote and started working. First thing he finds is a improperly capped water line (fixed it free of charge) and then walked me through the steps to complete the repairs. He's a very knowledgeable plumber and suggested easy maintenance for the lines and valves he worked on. The job was done in an hour and the work is beautiful. Nicest guy, very professional and an expert at plumbing and customer service. Highly recommended.

Raul came within an hour of being contacted. He came all the way out from Chula Vista to my place in Poway. He was polite, easy to talk to, and quick at getting my pipe clear of blockage.

He had to break out the big drain cleaner and my kitchen appliances, sink and washer are running smooth once again.

I would recommend him to any and all who aren't sure whom they can trust to do the job right.

As Realtors, we need to totally trust in the honesty, knowledge and professionalism of the vendors we refer to our clients. I was most impressed that Efficient Plumbing took the time to listen to my problem and actually figure out if they could help me. Every other plumber I called, including the company I have used many times before, told me they could not come out for a day or two - that was even before I told them what was wrong. I honestly felt like Efficient Plumbing wanted to help if they could.  
After listening to my description of the problem, they knew I needed my main line hydro-jet'ed and their specialist had a slot open for that afternoon.  The tech was on-time, efficient, professional, and didn't appear to mind the wife and I camping out in front of his inspection camera.  
And fair pricing - no same day surcharge - will use again.
