My tenants contacted me complaining about a couple of outlets that suddenly stopped working.  I contacted Point Loma electric the next morning and they sent out Mike Murphy who arrived within 30 mins.  He was strait forward explaining how the pricing worked and what he had to troubleshoot.  He was so knowledgeable that I had him come over to my primary residence and replace all my dimmer switches which was not an easy job. I highly recommend Point Loma Electric.

Bill and his partner Carlos are reliable, timely and knowledgable about plumbing. We have a small house in NP with a tight crawl space. Carlos has been under there multiple times when others refused. They are friendly and if they can't take care of your problem right away (which they often do), they triage  and fit you in, all the while reassuring you with their calm and friendly attitude. They are wonderful and charge less than most other plumbers. I consider them my friends.

We have an old home down in San Clemente, built in the 50's or early 60's and it's caused us issues with drains clogging up frequently...like 1 or 2 times a month sometimes and it's been quite costly if you add it all up over the years....(think 150-200 bucks every month or so for 13 years). Every other plumber or rooter company we've tried has always arrived at the same thing...bad pipes, bad pipe design, corrosion...all boiling down to one solution...major plumbing retrofit / re-pipe for the whole building which would involve cutting out drywall and even cutting cement and trenching into our driveway to reach the main sewer  line. I've been asking about drain camera service as a way to potentially get the bottom of why our drains clog so often. To my knowledge, not a single one of them  actually ran a camera into the drain to inspect before proposing major construction to repair the problem.

...then I called CC Plumbing. My first intention and expectation really was here we go again another 150 bucks out the window until next month when I need to have it rooter'ed again. But when I explained this to Cameron over the phone (I think he's the owner) he came down himself. The first thing he did was call one of his guys to bring a drain camera. Finally someone was willing to actually try to help and figure out a real solution. I told him that several had already recommended retrofitting and re-routing pipes, he agreed that could be the case with old homes, but stated that's not always the case either...we'll have to see what the problem is and see what is causing the issue before recommending anything. Turns out the pipes were actually in fairly good shape and no major construction was even needed. They performed a heavy duty hot water hydro-jetting service and I can tell they really worked hard to get this solved for me.

These guys rock!!! For a business owner to come down to San Clemente himself...spend 2 hours with a drain camera...show me the interior of the pipes on camera screen and not recommend major costly construction after several other plumbers told me it was the only long term solution....incredible experience.

Been 8 months (and counting)...no more clogged drains!!!

They showed up on time, gave me the price upfront, then did the work faster than any previous window cleaners I've had. The windows were cleaner than ever when they left, so I set up with then to come out 3 times a year to keep the windows looking good. Very satisfied

We needed a new bathroom sink and drain replacement. Reasonable Drain and Plumbing Repair came out and fixed everything we needed and was happy to look into other issues we were having with our plumbing throughout our house. They were on-time, courteous, and knowledgeable. Their prices are fair and they did an amazing job with all the cleanup afterwards. I would definitely use these guys again. Very happy!!

My call was answered right away and Steve was very professional and courteous. They were able to come out right away, diagnose the issue and fix it in the same day. He left the sink area where he had worked very clean after he fixed the problem and charged a very fair rate. Would definitely recommend working with Daniel's Plumbing & Son in San Diego.

Very professional but more than double the price of everyone else I received a quote from. I cant comment on their workmanship because the tech didn't even bother to touch or inspect the existing heater.

Thanks to Vanguard Plumbing for the professional and competent plumber sent to us.  After having two major companies give us bids that were outrageous, we contacted Vanguard who sent Dave.  The first company's quote for changing the kitchen sink faucet of $380.00 labor only and $120.00 each to replace hot and cold water valves.  Vanguard charged $178.00 to change the kitchen faucet and $79.00 for each valve.  And at no extra charge Dave inspected our toilets and valves and gave us pointers on maintenance we could do ourselves.
This experience shows how important it is to shop around and not just accept the first bid.  We are very satisfied customers and would recommend Vanguard and Dave to our friends, family and to all who read this review.

I also found Robey(sp?) of George Davis Plumbing via recommendations on Nextdoor app. We had a leaky toilet even though I replaced the seal ring myself. Robey was friendly, professional, and above all, honest. I wished I found him much sooner because other plumbers in the area over-charged and were very dishonest in their assessments and prices.

Where do I begin???  We are blown away at the utmost professionalism of Bob, he is absolutely the expert in his trade!  He explained everything he was doing along the way.  He even wore protective shoe coverings upon entry to our house.  He was able to asses our issues and correct them within minutes.  We will definitely be using his services in the future for all of our plumbing needs.  Thank you Bob for an amazing experience!

I had a problem with my air conditioner freezing over.  I read on-line that it could be due to a lack of coolant (go figure).  

Based on Yelp reviews, I called up Thompson Heating and AC and made an appointment.  Garrett showed up.  I explained the problem to him and he said he'd check it out rather than just proceeding on what I'd told him - this is a really good practice if you actually want to fix the problem.

Sure enough the pressure was low.  Before he charged it, he told me that it was an old system (25 years old) and may still have a leak, albeit a slow leak.  He laid out the options in simple language and the risks/costs associated with each option.  I chose to charge the system.

If there is a leak, they'll be at the top of the list for replacing the unit.  

Bottom line:  friendly, professional, and knowledgeable for a decent price.

I chose to have Raul from R&J come in to do the work. I have a few requirements for contractors that I insist on. 1) they must be responsive and 2) they must be reliable about showing up within the scheduled time frame. And 3) of course, they must be competent. Raul excelled at all three. He took care to clean up after the work was done and asked me if I wanted to keep the old parts (a few I did).

I would definitely recommend him and will contact him again if I need further plumbing services.

Did some light plumbing on my kitchen sink about a year ago. Everything still works as expected. Would use again.

We've used Efficient Plumbing 3 times in the past 2.5 years. We have hard water out where we live which has caused a few things to break down. I like being able to text Mark a quick description of the issue and a couple of pictures to get a quick diagnosis and cost estimate. Efficient Plumbing is always on time and gets the job done quickly.
