Best Plumbing Services in California

Having used Point Loma Electric in the past we felt good about calling them for a plumbing problem....a toilet needed to be reset, a basic bread and butter job for any plumber. Brandon Moreno was the plumber they sent and he appeared  pleasant, capable and knowledgeable, quoting the job at $435, a fair price.  . My husband was a former contractor (retired)   and had done jobs like this on our previous homes and rental properties.  When Brandon removed the toilet he found that the flange was broken and left to buy a replacement.  He had problems finding one and After an hour he came back and said he would have to increase the price to $1,000 plus. When we objected he called the company owner and they reduced it to something in the $750 range, still too high for us.  We had to say no, the price was almost double what it should have been.  We called another plumber, highly rated, they came out and fixed it today,  including replacing the flange, for a total price of  $400.  They were in and out within 40 minutes,  job completed as promised. We will never call Point Loma Electric and Plumbing again, and suggest you look for other options.   In reading several the other reviews this up-pricing and gouging seems to be characteristic of this company

Scheduled an appointment with Bill a few days in advance. Bill called 20 minutes before to ensure we were still on.  Bill and Carlos showed up right on time and finished the job quickly and efficiently.  Two clogged drains and they were in and out in under 30 minutes.  Extremely pleasant to deal with and they were more than happy to invoice our landlord for the work.  Would definitely recommend.

Quick response from everyone. Lance was our tech and was professional and nice. There were on-site in an hour on a weekend!
Pricing was good considering I made the mess of the plumbing to start with.

Super professional and did a great job. Easy to schedule and showed up with proper equipment. They did a through job of cleaning my windows and screens which needed it after a period of being under construction. Would recommend them and will use the service again.

We were in need of an air conditioning unit installed at our new house. After through research we decided to call Same Day Heating and Air. And I'm glad we did. We got the quote we expected plus the 12 year parts and labor was definitely a plus! A week later Tech's Troy and Adrian came out and installed our A/C in one day. These guys were on top of it. They showed up on time, were professional, got the job done and then cleaned up the place like they weren't even there. Top notch company.

Have used Pip a few times in the past several years, but I was really disappointed that he cancelled last second after setting an appointment day on an emergency repair. I lost several days waiting on a repair that could have gone to another plumber. The best he could offer was Its not something I have time to mess with. Sorry. I guess his repeat customers aren't important.

Today our disposal stopped working and I called up John and The Works plumbing. My husband had worked with them before on our new refrigerator water line and really liked them. They came out to take a look at it and it ended up being a really simple fix. I was super impressed with them in general. They even gave me the tool that I could use in the future to fix it again (just a simple clog)! 100%, next time I need a plumber I will be calling John and The Works. Their service was amazing. Bathroom renovations here we come!

Great company with great service and work.  I have been working with Pacific Drain/Arrow Pipeline for several years.  I am a real estate agent and many times during the escrow period, an inspection is required for the sewer line.  Brandon Wheeler is their field expert in sewer camera inspections.  He provides quick service and is trustworthy, knowledgeable and fair in their pricing.  I have also recommended their repair services to my clients and their work has always been top notch.

Highly skilled, on time, and replaced hot cold water lines within an hour. Very much recommend this business for Asan Diego area!

What an efficient and friendly service. We had our sink backed up with grease from the former owner (we moved into our new home 3 weeks ago) and as luck would have it, the sink became totally blocked, the dishwasher flooded all on Saturday evening. Richard was able to come out on Sunday with no notice - already amazing - and fix the entire problem in under an hour. He tested our dishwasher to make sure there were no secondary probelms and we though we smelt a burning smell. So he also checked the engine of the dishwasher for no extra fee. Such an amazing service and he even cleaned the sink up after he had finished his work!!

I cannot recommend Pristine Plumbing highly enough. High quality work, efficient, quiet and respectful. I will definitely use Richard again. Such a relief to know that these other reviews on Yelp were accurate and reliable. I hope I can contribute to them. If you need a plumber - you won't be disappointed.

In Vista the water bill comes through Vista Irrigation, every two months. I had a bill at end of 2022 that was higher than I expected, then first bill of 2023 was mammoth. Obviously a leak. Now some leaks will require a specialty outfit, but Vanguard said let us have a look and I decided to go with them. And guess what, Vanguard came through! Robert was the plumber, he confirmed the leak, did his checks, and darn if the culprit wasn't simply a toilet running that my old ears couldn't hear. As one does I brought a couple other matters to Robert's attention, and he got those resolved. Price was fair for all the work Robert did. Highly recommend Vanguard.

Great service and experience working with Roby! I highly recommend him! He is an expert in plumbing! He is efficient, very professional and his work was outstanding! Pricing is very reasonable as well.

Needed to get some slow drains corrected and a  bathroom sink drain pipe resealed.  Bob was very responsive and scheduled to come over the same morning.  The work he performed was clean, efficient and the pricing was very good.  I'd highly recommend Bob and R.J.B for any plumbing needs.  Very nice guy as well.

Unfortunately our furnace went out on a Saturday afternoon. I called Thompson's and was scheduled for the following morning.  Garrett arrived on time and had our furnace back up and working in 30 minutes.   The whole process was very simple, professional and easy. I definitely recommend this company.

Raul was very responsive to my initial request and had great communication so that he was as prepared as possible for our first meeting.  While he was in our home, I felt very comfortable and that he was very knowledgeable.  He explained things in a way that was easy to understand.  Highly recommend.  Great follow up as well.

He Tries to save you money by suggesting cheaper alternatives for repairs and definitely knows what he's doing!

Mark was great, showed up on time after a phone call to let me know he was running late. $150 to repair a leaking shower. Replaced a Delta valve. Not sure if this price is good or not, but it was worth it to me. He gave great advice about a sink and a toilet and was a pleasure to deal with. I would use them again and refer to friends.
