I have been in the trade of contracting for over 20 years. Not only am I a plumber of San Diego but I am also a licensed general contractor with water damage and mold damage remediation experience. As a builder, I am familiar with the structural build of a home and imagine each project as if it were bare bones. I love trouble shooting and solving some of the most technical aspects of plumbing and drains. We needed our toilet replaced and created a yelp project and requested estimates and received a reply from Justin very quickly. Justin listened to our issue, gathered our information and gave us options on how we can resolve the issue and then put us in contact with their Plumber James to schedule an appointment.
James was available by both phone and text which allowed for efficient communication to communicate details of the job.
On the day of the appointment I was notified by text that James was on his way and he arrived at the time promised. The work was done quick, neat and very professional in his interactions.

My tenant called me on a Saturday morning to tell me sewage was backing up into her home. I spent time calling and leaving messages for lots of plumbers that said they had emergency services. I was having trouble getting anyone who would come out. But HomePro answered right away. He was willing to come out and do the job right away. He even made sure I understood it was extra because of the weekend and almost tried to talk me out of it because I explained that I knew there was root damage. He let me know that clearing the clog is just a temporary fix and asked if I was sure I wanted to pay him the extra weekend fee to come out for a temporary fix.
I let him know I didn't have much choice as a tenant having sewage back up into her home is not okay. So he was willing to come ASAP.
I ended up having him not come as moments after I hung up with HomePro my local plumber who I usually use let me know he was available. But after calling plumber after plumber it was nice to have someone answer right away, be willing to come fix the emergency right away and was upfront about pricing. So though I did t have him come do the work, I would recommend giving him a try.

James came very quickly. I called and he was available as soon as possible on a Saturday! I had a pipe leak while my husband was at work. He found the problem fast and was very transparent with cost before doing any work. He was respectful and quick. I'd recommend their services.
Update: just bought this house. home warranty will not cover the job that HomePro Plumbing did. Our loss. Super frustrating. It was on Saturday and I attempted to call while Homepro was working on our job, but was told to call during regular business hours what a joke.
We had a leak in our kitchen faucet. James responded quickly to the request and we were able to set up a mutually acceptable appointment quickly. He arrived on time and performed the replacement after providing us options.
On Sunday afternoon, all of our bathtubs and toilets had a backflow issue.
I requested a quote from yelp and got a very first response from James.
I was hesistant first but after reading other reviews, I decided to give it try.
James received a call. After listening to my problem, he gave me the cost up front in detail. He patiently answered all our questions and told me he would arrive in an hour. He arrived on time and he immediately diagnosed the issue. (It was the tree root that got into our main pipe!) James cleared out all those roots thoroughly. He made sure everything is working. He kept his words on the price. If I ever need any plumbing services in the future, I will definitely call him again.

James handled my plumbing issues to my satisfaction. Right from the first call, to giving me an estimate, options to fix the problem, getting parts, scheduling the repairs and getting it done quickly, James was very patient, listened to my requests and my preferences and giving me the best advice.
I am already planning to call him for a separate plumbing project.

The owner, James, is excellent! He is very responsive and professional. No drama. He gets the job done well at a fair price.
Our dishwasher was leaking from within our island and I was so nervous we had a disaster on our hands! James was able to come out the morning after I contacted the company and immediately discovered an old hose that had been worn by time and use and become kinked causing the backup. He replaced the hoses quickly and all is good! James was professional, timely and knowledgeable. Rates are reasonable and we will be choosing this company from now on for our plumbing needs!
Our drains were clogged at our rental unit and water was backing up. I contacted Home Pro and James came out to take a look. He was able to diagnose the issue with cameras and clear out the drain. James was very professional, responsive, and did great work. I highly recommend James and his team at Home Pro!!!
I would highly recommend James (Home Pro Plumbing) for your plumbing needs. James is very responsive and his work is very satisfactory. I had a very old kitchen sink faucet that was difficult to pull out due to rust but James did a great job and replaced that with the new one.
He was very efficient, professional and explained whatever he did for this work.

I had a draining issue with my sink. I have two sinks in my kitchen and the main side I use, the water was not going down properly. Had water overflowing up the sink on the other side and just didn't know how else to fix it. Reached out to Home Pro plumbing and they were able to send a technician out for the same day. He was able to get our sink running and draining properly! These guys work great and have good clear communications.

I had a great experience with Home Pro Plumbing. They were extremely reliable and always kept their word. The pricing was great and very reasonable for the quality of service provided. Great experience! James came out and replaced two of our shut off values in our bathroom sink-- one that was quite challenging since we tried fixing it ourselves! Was also very kind!

My house had a decent amount of plumbing issues and we needed it fixed immediately. I called home perfect plumbing for help and explained to them that we needed someone to come out and assess the issues and quote us on what itd cost. They were very accommodating and was able to get someone out at our convenience. The plumber was super professional and let us know when he was on the way and when he arrived. He did his diagnostic and was able to explain to us the situation and what we needed done. Of course we did our due diligence and took that and went around calling other plumbers to compare quotes. We decided with home perfect because they were the most professional and responsive and their price fell in line with most other companies. Fast forward to now, everything is done and completed and the plumbing in the house works great. Definitely will use them for future projects.
First off I gotta say these guys are very friendly and respectful of their clients. The first thing they did was to lay down protection product to protect the floors. Communication was key, they kept me informed each step of the way of them replacing the galvanized pipe with copper. Also had them replace and install 2 new toilets and kitchen faucet. They kept the area nice and tidy and were always punctual and engaging with us. Water pressure in the house was a problem they fixed and now it runs amazing. I highly recommend.
I had home pro plumbing come out and install a new toilet I got. Made the switch from normal to elongated and they were able to come out and install it right away and haul away the old one. Im glad it was super easy, great communication.
What i appreciate most about this company is how honest, thorough, and up front they are. I had an issue with the plumbing in my downstairs bathroom and needed it fixed (especially with the holiday coming up, i will be having guests over). Anyways had these guys come out and take a look and in my head, i was thinking this would cost a lot more than what they actually quoted me. It was actually a really simple fix and they just needed to replace a few things and they were on their way. They gave me the bill and I was happy to pay it. Everything works great now and couldn't be happier with how the interaction went. 5/5 highly recommend
I had a pipe in my house that was getting clogged up ( there was build up over time that accrued) and it was affecting water pressure in my house. The only reason I was able to figure that out was cause of my consultation with Home Perfect. They came out to inspect and run a few diagnosis and determined that was the cause of the issue. I gave them the bid to fix it because they knew what the problem was and after price shopping a bit, it was the best value for price vs time to go with them. Luckily that was the only problem with the plumbing that I had, it took a couple days to fix but the issue is gone and the part of the wall they had to get into was repatched and looks great. Overall very happy with Home perfect

The contractor gave us fast and professional service. James and his team figured out the cause of the leak fast and worked to have my plumbing back online in a timely manner. He is as honest as they come. I would definitely recommend him to everyone I know.
We had home perfect plumbing come out to fix our broken hot water pipe. Sadly, the leak caused a lot of water damage but fortunately they also work with a company to fix that. We originally called them thinking that it was just a pipe that needed to be fixed but they also did a full assessment and found that our pressure regulator was bad. They did the second inspection at no extra charge and gave us a good deal at changing out the pressure regulator valve.

We had some plumbing work done by this company after we had a bad blockage from some roots crack the drain line. We couldn't figure out why we keep getting issues after buying a new house. The came in and snaked out the roots and we are as good as new.
Our water heater broke in one of our rentals and Home Perfect Plumbing came to the rescue. Replaced it with a tankless water heater at a great price. Was able to connect them with my renter and did everything while I was out of town. Very reliable. Thank you Home Perfect Plumbing!!!
