It was just a nightmare.
After a couple of quotes from yelp, I have decided to go with Carlos to fix a bit of the leaking bathtub spout. He wasn't the lowest bid but the price of $900 was reasonable for a 4-hour project he mentioned.
A week later, his guys suddenly appeared two days earlier and wanted to start the job. I wasn't ready but I let them do it in their favor.
A couple of hours later, I found the guys cut the tile too big along with the supporting block and cement wall so they couldn't cover the area with a shower base plate. I talked to the owner about the situation, but he said that was my job to do the tile and wanted me to contact a handyman he recommended, which turned out to cost $1,300 due to the wall damage.
He mentioned he was done on his side and ran away with full payment even without any cleaning up. These guys are the worst plumber I have ever worked with. I had to have trouble hiring another plumber to finish the job.

We used Brent for our kitchen remodel.  He moved the plumbing so that we could move the sink when we remodeled.   Instead of going through the concrete floor he went up through the ceiling.  He added a pot filler for the stove. He installed a new faucet, installed our dishwasher, installed  our gas stove in addition to moving the gas line.  It seemed to be a fairly big job and he did it with ease.  He answered all our questions and is easy to talk to. His crew is super nice, they were always punctual and very clean.  Brent strikes me as a genuinely kind person.  I always see his truck working around town.  I'm very happy to highly recommend him and his team.  After our kitchen remodel was complete our water heater went.  Figures!  He came out first thing the next morning to replace it.  We will always use him for any plumbing needs.

I called Justin about a clogged kitchen sink on a Saturday afternoon and he was able to be at my house in an hour and got right to work. The clog went much further than expected (no easy drain snaking could clear it) so he had to work it from the drain cap outside (which had been stuccoed over so he had to go above and beyond to chip away the stucco in order to access it). Then he found that the main line clog stretched further than his 35' clearing equipment could fix so he drove home to pickup his 75' drain clearing machine and came right back and got everything fixed. His dedication to completing the job was impressive and I still got the problem fixed for a reasonable price even though it ended up taking most of Justin's afternoon... Great guy and excellent service!  (Also good with kids and pets - happily handled my three kids asking him questions the whole time and my two dogs watching intently from a foot away )

I needed a plumber to rest my toilet, replace my faucet cartridges and clean my dishwasher inlet filter, my upstairs neighbor David recommended Brandon to me - David is very happy with the plumbing work Brandon did for him.

Jay is a fabulous contractor and craftsman.  We could not be happier with the work that Jay did in our home and in our dealings with him.  Being six months pregnant and going through a renovation may not be an ideal experience but Jay put us completely at ease, and actually made the remodel pleasant.  We have an addition to our Long Beach ranch home that was put on by a previous owner, and was poorly laid out.  We had to walk through a bedroom to get to another bedroom.  Jay reconfigured the lay out and rebuilt a beautiful bedroom for us that we will now use as a nursery.  He was able to close off the room we used to have to walk through, and build hallways and fabulous closets for us, making our home much more functional.  He took down and rebuilt walls, installed new bamboo flooring, shaker style closet doors, windows, crown moulding, and more.  He also does upgrades you may not expect.  He made our floors seamless and gave us beautiful recessed lighting that was much nicer than what our previous contractor installed.  Jay does not cut corners, and went beyond our expectations.

In addition to being an honest, reliable, and reasonably priced contractor, Jay is simply a pleasant person to be around and have working in your home.  He is friendly and warm, hardworking, and a family man.  We feel really fortunate that we found Jay and would love to hire him back for future jobs.  Both my husband and I have jobs where we put in long hours.  It was nice to have Jay in charge to fix any issues that came up and find the materials we needed to complete the job.  It really put us at ease, and we trusted him completely.

This is by far the most reliable service I've received from a plumber. He's come out numerous times and given input on minor issues along with fixing those things free of charge. So when I had a major issue I knew I was going to call him and that's just what I did. He was on time and professional. He replaced my angle valves, faucet, and drain. Then he found the cause of a minor leak in my kitchen that I couldn't find for months. All this was done in less than 2 hours. To top it all off, he was reasonably priced. Definitely will be going to him for all my future plumbing issues and needs.

Main Sewer Line Clog - Daniel is an above average professional!  He spent a lot of time explaining and showing with his camera where the problem was.  

He did an initial snake which pulled out a bunch of roots but hardly made a dent on the clog which I could see with the camera.  Consequently, there was no hesitation on my part to do a thorough hydro-jet cleaning to clear out the rest of the debris and roots (see before and after photos).

I will highly recommend him to friends and family and will keep him on my list for future plumbing needs.

We experienced a water leak into our garage that was originally thought to be water leaking in from the planted area after our recent heavy rain. This had occurred in the past.

This past Sunday I read a Community Facebook Page post that stated they they had a leak in their garage, in our same community, so, I read that they had contacted Prostar Plumbing. I immediately called and they answered saying that they would stop by after taking care of the other garage in the area.

Damon called and came over on Monday afternoon as scheduled. The initial visual inspection appeared that there was a leak between the main at the street and our hose and cut-off valve located in the garage. Damon contacted our Community President and he came over to look at it, since this would be an Association issue.

Damon was scheduled to come back on Tuesday to discuss. Prior to his return, early Tuesday morning, I noticed a large continuous flow of water coming from the Water Heater room outside my Town-home. I took video and sent it to both Damon and Eric (with whom I had also met on Tuesday but had spoken to on the phone on Monday). They both determined that the water had been leaking slowly from the water heater and this was the primary cause of the leak. It was further determined that the Bradford White gas water heater back had ruptured causing the significant flow. Damon and Eric said that they would come back on Wednesday morning and install the new Bradford White water heater. They turned-off the hot water and that stopped the main leakage into the garage and out the water heater room.

Damon arrived yesterday morning as scheduled, installed the new heater and other associated peripheral equipment. I am happy to say that there is no additional leakage, the garage floor is drying up.

We are extremely pleased with Prostar and Damon's professionalism, courtesy, knowledge and safety consciousness during this Pandemic. We highly recommend Prostar and all of their staff and will use them for all of our future plumbing needs.

We had an unfortunate tub leak on New Year's Day which resulted in our ceiling leaking. Luckily I knew HHS plumbing would be there to save the day! Victoria was very kind and made the appointment process a breeze. Giovanni showed up on time like always and was able to not only fix our original tub leak, but also preventatively fix our other tub upstairs which would have inevitably had the same problem. His service and attitude is always top notch and I highly recommend HHS to anyone needing plumbing services.

Five stars no question. Fast and efficient service, neat work, and Greg takes the time to explain everything to you. This call out was for (another) pin hole leak that was showing in a different area but he located the leak quickly with minimum cutting.

Chris saved our lives!!!! I had been away for 3 days on a business trip and I get a call on my way home that our water heater broke... Perfect! I was looking forward to a hot shower. A friend of ours referred us to Chris and he came out immediately to replace our water heater. He was kind and professional. Our garbage disposal was leaking and corroded... we thought about trying to do the replacement ourselves. But sure glad we didn't! Michael was very responsive and more reasonably priced than the others who responded. He was able to arrive within an hour and was professional and wore shoe coverings. He provided the replacement which was the same brand we wanted and hauled away the old one.

Thank you to Jeff for the fast service.  My drain was plugged up and I was expecting out of town company within a few hours.  Crandall's came and fixed the drain and saved my day. I highly recommend Crandall's for your plumbing problems.

I called 3 companies.  Two had 1,500 gallon trucks and these guys had a 3,000 gallon beauty.  Pricing?  Felix quoted me the very best.  I didn't fill that bad boy up, but they accommodated my unique property with their flat rate pricing.  These are my new septic/sewer guys.  Very professional and no games.  Price quoted was honored, and they came at the scheduled time.  Zero complaints!!  See you guys in 3 years again for my property, and maybe sooner with some referalls!

Today I had a leak in my ceiling and Scott Linder (the plumber) came out to help me.  He looked at the problem and diagnosed it right away.  He told me it was coming from my toilet upstairs.  Sure enough, when he removed the toilet he showed me where it was leaking.  He replaced the parts under the toilet, cleaned up the old mess, and put everything back together again.  He was very knowledgeable, efficient, and a nice guy.  Next time I call Rooter Hero for a plumber, I hope Scott comes out!
