Born and raised in Orange County I started Prolific Plumbing Inc. with two main goals, to serve the greater OC with honest quality service at an affordable price, and for employees to have a work place that creates positive reinforcement for everyone to succeed and grow! I have over 10 years of trade experience, I’ve provided service to thousands of homeowners, trained by some of the best master plumbers and leading companies here in Orange County, and graduated from Wyotech Technical School for plumbing technology in 2012. Kody showed up on time, dressed in clean work uniform, presented himself professionally, and upon entrance first thing he did was put on shoe covers to protect the floor. He did a great job with my clogged kitchen sink air vent in a short time and got it back to functioning properly. Based on my experience he's honest, reliable and prompt. We called out Prolific Plumbing after we had we received several other quotes that seemed ridiculously outrageous for a sewer leak under our home. Kody came out, was super polite and respectful, and gave us a very reasonable quote to do the repair. Within minutes he was under the house and had the sewer repair finished by the end of the day. I purchased a home that had a bad tub spout... after talking with Kody, he contacted the manufacturer and confirmed it was under warranty. He had the item sent to my home and followed up with the installation once it arrived. He's polite, on time and does a great job of explaining what needs to be done and the potential risks. Kody quickly answered my request for a quote, and set up a quick call to go over the details of my requests (installing a water filtration system, w/ new piping). He really seemed to have a solid game plan for what the best solution was and walked me through it, which other plumbing services did not do. On the job, Kody and his partner were friendly, professional, and clear with what they planned to do. Was having some water leak from our ceiling from our master shower and i reached out and heard back immediately. Communication was great and they were able to come out within the next day or two to look at the leak. Super friendly, updated me on arrival time and showed up early! Kody did a super thorough job and was able to identify exactly what our problem was and explained everything clearly to us and also gave us great references for our drywall needs as well. The best decision I made when I called PROLIFIC PLUMBiNG. Read all the positive reviews on Yelp, and wonder if this for real? And Yes, they are indeed all true. Kody, the owner quickly response on the day I frantically called him due to my main toilet and shower clogged at the same time. He diagnosed the main issue and fixed the problem in no time. I even showed him my 2nd bathroom toilet that has been a problem for months, and nobody can figure out why it was constantly flowing water. It's already been decided to totally replace it since nobody can figure what seems to be the issue, but here comes Kody, check what's the root of the problem, do some test, replaced the valves and flappers, have I mentioned that previous plumber I hired already replaced that part too, but was not able to resolve the problem. And here's the kicker, he didn't charge me for the repair, how awesome was that! Finally, I found a gem in Kody, he's definitely a keeper for all our plumbing need. He went above and beyond! I placed an inquiry on Yelp to replace a very old shower valve that was leaking badly. Kody Rivas, the owner of Prolific Plumbing responded very quickly even though he was in the middle of another job. His quote was competitive with 2 other quotes I received and was available within the next hour so I booked him. He arrived on time; took time to put covers on his shoes and completed the job within an hour. He and his team are very polite and very professional. I would definitely use this company again.
Shower was leaking and required a new cartridge. Kody was among the first to respond and provided a straightforward assessment and estimate. Repaired same with professional service.
Six star. Cody replaced a toilet for us. I initially had HomeDepot to deliver the toilet. At the time of replacement, he noticed the bowl is damaged. He covered the drain and agreed to come next day with no extra charge. HomeDepot failed to deliver the toilet next day again. He quickly got a very competitive quote from his supplier (better than HomeDepot), picked up the material and installed the new toilet on Saturday. He was professional, had good manner and was on time. I definitely use his services in future again.

Kody was so professional, responsive and did a great job. He helped take diligent measurements and give us several options and recommendations, and then came back a few weeks later when the parts were all available to install. Install was clean and he spent time testing everything to make sure it was all working well. Our biggest concern was that removing the old under mounted sink would cause the granite to crack but he did such a great job and took his time to ensure that wouldn't happen.

I found these awesome guys in Google when I needed extremely emergency service for costumer of ours. They went to the house in less than 30 minutes and did AWESOME job. Not just that,but their price for emergency service was very fair. I called 3 places which popped up in Google before them for OC area and all 3 was difficult to even talk to and unhelpful. Kody just asked for pictures, quote me 3 minutes later and was on his way, 10 minutes later. This is your guy for plumbing needs. Called Prolific Plumbing for an emergency. Kody took the call and was able to squeeze me in on the same day. He is very professional and courteous. He will explain thoroughly what the issue is.
I am very satisfied with his work and will not hesitate to call him again for any future work needed.
We had a new gas dryer installed on Sunday and I noticed a very strong gas smell after the guys installed it. My husband and I didn't know what to do so we called around looking for plumbers. Since it was Sunday, nobody was available. When we called prolific plumbing, Kody advised us on how to turn off the gas line correctly. Kody came out the next day to check out our leak, and I'm glad we called because I found out that we had some funky installation! We have an old home, so he put in a new gas valve, a better gas line to the dryer, sealed everything properly, and made sure everything was compatible. I ran the dryer to test it and Kody continued to check if there was any more leaking which gave me a peace of mind. I talked to him about other issues we had and asked him to check out some recently installed equipment since we had a house renovation and he suggested some things to me for the future. Kody was very clam, professional, friendly, informative, and understanding which is great because I know nothing about plumbing. Payment was very fast and easy and he explained what I was signing. I feel great and relieved about his service because he was very thorough, so I will definitely use this company again for any future needs!
I would give 10 stars if I could! When all other plumbers I contacted could not repair my toilet, and even suggested I replace it altogether, Kody came by and fixed it right away! He even had the part needed on his truck -- no waiting to order, no other excuses given. The cost was reasonable and the service was excellent, never have I experienced a more responsive company. Highly recommend -- you will not be disappointed!

Excellent service in a prompt and professional manner. I appreciated the quick response with an estimate and then the appointment confirmation. I had a tankless water heater cleaned and descaled as it is required to be done annually. Would call them again for the next service.

If I could click on 10 stars to rate Kody's capabilities, I would. I created a Yelp request for help with a leaking shower valve located in a very complicated area that required that we break thru the back of the curved shower wall. Kody was the first to respond, so I immediately called him to review our issue. He said no problem and he could be there first thing Monday morning. He called before he arrived and began working the issue. It was a complicated project that he tackled layer by layer. He had all the tools, the products, and the expertise to make every issue seem like it was no problem. This was such a stressful problem for us, but Kody is a top notch professional who saved the day. I am so thankful that other people shared their reviews regarding Kody's performance because it was critical that we found someone who had all the right skills for our complicated problem. Kody has been a Godsend this month as we settled into our new home. He is accessible whenever we call and available to come out to fix what problems with this property have arisen.
Most recently we had a stoppage in the pipes causing the bathroom to flood when we used the washing machine located in a different part of the house. He diagnosed the problem, had the appropriate tools of the trade on his truck, explained things to our satisfaction, and provided us with excellent clean up, all at a very fair price.

I reached out to Prolific Plumbing and within 10min they contacted me back. Was able to setup an appointment for the next day to have our toilet looked at. Kody provided great communication and provided us a honest assessment. Keeping them in my contacts and will be our plumber from now on.
Kody did an amazing job installing our shower and tub faucet. We had another plumber quote us too, but they wanted to go through the other side into our bedroom and tear into the drywall for easier access, but my wife was not keen on that idea. After installing new floors, I sent a requests via Yelp to reinstall my toilet. Prolific Plumbing reached out within 10 minutes to discuss and offer solutions & quotes from the photos I sent. Options provided were install toilet on the old flange or replace flange, then seat the toilet.
Cody came out the next day and proved how the toilet would seat askew on the old flange (which was doable), but I opted for replacement. He also stabilized my pedestal sink at the same time. Everything was caulked and cleaned.
The price was extremely fair (I had 3 other quotes), his work was quick & neat and done to my satisfaction. He communicated at critical stages to confirm I was happy with the progress.

I am so glad I found a new plumbing company to keep for my future necessary services. I needed to repair squeaking, leaking bath faucets and a corroded kitchen faucet. Kody's pricing & estimates were upfront, competitive and transparent. He is courteous, professional and great with communication regarding scheduling and appointment time. When he came out to assess the situation my hunch was correct, the clog was too far for the snake to reach. They had to take the toilet off and use special equipment to reach it. I will definitely use Prolific again. Kody responded almost immediately and gave me all information up front. He was extremely polite too. His rates were reasonable as well. I am so glad I called these guys. There's plenty of plumbers to pick from on Yelp with 5-star ratings. But most will still have plenty of 1-star reviews when you resort their reviews and read. I saw that these guys had zero bad reviews.
This is younger smarter hungrier company. They responded to all my messages, even gave me a rough estimate of what I could be facing for repairs.
Prices were very competitive to everyone else. But where they really shine is in the work. No cutting corners. Taking their time to do the job and building a relationships for future work and references. They were not like other companies that just do the job and split as soon as they can.
Phenomenal work. They didn't try to upsell me on repairs. And really pointed out just what I needed. Very honest and knowledgeable. These are the kind of guys you want to pay and are glad they showed up to the call.

The pipe on our sprinkler system burst and we needed immediate assistance. We reached out to Kody in the evening and he responded right away. We sent him a photograph of the burst pipe and he was able to diagnose the issue prior to the visit. He penciled us in for an appointment the following day and was able to replace the pipe with a higher quality copper pipe in less than 30 minutes. He was very thorough in explaining what triggered the issue and how we might be able to mitigate any issues in the future. He also identified and showed us additional flaws with our system that we called him back to replace a few days later. Kody was wonderful to work with and provided honest and very high quality service. Our water heater started to leak on a Sunday so I put a message out to a few companies asking for help. Kody got right back to me and was communicative and patient, answering all of my questions. A couple others responded, as well, but they couldn't compete with Kody's fair price and transparency.
We talked on that Sunday, and he was out to my house on Monday afternoon, ready to install a new water heater. He worked clean, was great to talk to, and remained patient and informative each step of the way. Kody and Prolific Plumbing may not have the most Yelp reviews (yet), but he offers everything you want from a plumber and I HIGHLY recommend him to anyone in need of plumbing services!

Kody responded to my inquiry and scheduled my appointment. He showed up on time and completed the new garbage disposal within the timeframe he quoted. He is very polite and so nice to deal with. Will be using him next time I need a plumbing job.
Kody was super responsive, even on the weekend. Other plumbers told us we'd have to fully replace our guest room toilet as parts were discontinued, but Kody was able to fix it quickly. Would recommend!

I am so happy that I found prolific plumbing. I own my own construction company, and use prolific plumbing on all of my jobs. Working with Kody and his team of skilled craftsmen as always a breath of fresh air. They take pride in their work, they keep you updated with photos and videos throughout the whole plumbing process, they do not overcharge you like many of the plumbing companies that I've used in the past, and their price is always fair. They came today to fix the toilet handle and stabilize the toilet seat so it wouldn't move. They did a great job and were so nice. They also didn't charge me for fixing the toilet which was very kind. I recommend this place if you are looking for a trusting and reliable plumber.

Just the BEST! Reliable, intelligent, honest, experienced, available, and my tenants love him too! My new go to for all things plumbing. Kody and Ralphy were great guys to work with. We had a slab leak under our garage and downstairs bathroom and they were able to asses, identify, and fix the issue. Kody was super responsive (texting me back on a Sunday), and clearly communicated the problem, costs, and repair process every step of the way.
It's great to find local small businesses who provide excellent service. I would definitely use them again, and recommend to anyone who requires plumbing services.
My almost brand new water heater went out last night and I panicked! Kody was quick at responding first thing in the morning and was able to diagnose the problem right away. Kody and Ralph were the best. Extremely knowledgeable and even knew what parts to order just from pictures. Very responsive in the quoting process. 2 shower trims and cartridges were replaced. In and out in just 2 hours. Great team and very respectful as well. I highly recommend them for any plumbing projects moving forward!

I highly recommend Kody at Prolofic Plumbing. He is responsive and provides estimates based on photos. He was easy to schedule and the work performed for me was high quality.
Clean, considerate, up-front, responsive, on-time, and uses quality materials. What more could you ask for? Kody is my new plumber!
Our home came with a double bowl sink, which is really impractical; the bowls are too small to fit a large pan, let alone a baking pan. We were actually only using one of the bowls. Essentially, we are wasting half of the sink space!
Kody changed out our double bowl sink to a single large bowl sink. Now cleaning large items is so much easier! He was really nice and knowledgeable. We are very happy with his work!

I rarely give reviews, and I give reviews when i'm either extremely satisfied or extremely disappointed. Happy to say that in Prolific Plumbing's case, I'm extremely satisfied.
We got an excellent service from Kody. He did a great job fixing my broken pipe in the bathtub and they cleaned up really well after finishing the job. He arrived ahead of the time window he gave me, and very professional in his communication and in the way he conducted himself. His pricing was very competitive too.
I broke the pipe in my bathtub faucet when i tried replacing the faucet. The thread on the pipe got corroded really bad, and the soft copper pipe broke off when i tried getting the faucet off the wall.
I contacted 6 plumbers ,and Kody is the only one who gave me a quote based on the picture I've shown to him. All the others won't quote me unless they come in and see it in person. He told me on the phone a couple of ways he can fix it, and the price for each of those 2 options. I was impressed how knowledgeable he was. Don't let anyone talk you into paying just to give you a quote. There was even one plumber who came to my house and proposed to break off the tile from the front instead of cutting a hole in the drywall at the back, and gave me a ludicrous estimate for the cost.
He also cares a lot about his customers. I bought a cheap faucet from Home Depot as a replacement, but Kody told me that what I bought is not good and advised me to return it. He has a better one with him, for the same price as what I got at Home Depot. He charged me the same amount as the one i got from Home Depot ($15).
I highly recommend Kody and his company, and he will now be my go-to plumber.

I had put a plumbing problem with a dripping faucet out to the Yelp community for help. I received several responses that were unsatisfactory to me, including complete replacement of the faucets. They are a matched set and thus I would have to replace for both sinks as we did not know the brand and model.
Kody at Prolific asked for a picture, immediately knew the faucet, the parts needed and scheduled the repair with me. The work was fast, high quality and used ORM replacement parts. Plus, he had a great personality and engendered my trust.
I would certainly recommend both Kody and Prolific Plumbing for your next plumbing project large or small.

I was worried about a kinked toilet supply line and I contacted Prolific Plumbing. He (Kody) came early on a day I was available and was most convenient. He was able to replace the angle stop, the hose, and he even replaced some essential parts of the flush valve. Super professional.
