We found Chris on Yelp and called him on a Saturday for an emergency leak. He got back to us in minutes and went out of his way to stop by within the hour. Chris quelled the leak and quickly determined we needed to replace our toilet.

Chris was extremely transparent in his recommendations and pricing, guided us toward the appropriate toilet for us rather than the most expensive, and stuck by his quote. He wears a mask and is very respectful of social distancing, completed flawless work, and was very light hearted and polite along the way. He was also on time and very communicative regarding when he would arrive. He even followed up with us the following day to ensure we were happy with the installation and new toilet.

So I reached out to Chris regarding an issue I was having with my drain. His response time was super quick and he gave me an upfront quote and was also available to come out on the same day to take a look. We've had ongoing drain problems as our house is over 50 years old and the pipes have not been replaced. Multiple plumbers have come out over the last several years. While the prior plumbers were able to clear out the drains (barely), they were not able to clear them out completely and they were not able to come up with a solution to prevent the recurrent blockages.
Chris was able to not only clear out the drains completely, but he also provided an economic long-term solution.
He and his crew were very professional and his prices are very competitive and reasonable.

Chris responded to my super last minute request for a (what I thought was major) clog in one of our downstairs bathrooms as well as a drain issue in the kitchen. And last minute as in I texted him at 8:30 AM, he was able to be at my home by 2:00 PM to swiftly and patiently fix both issues with no hiccups.

So, I hired him to come back over the weekend to install a brand new faucet for our kitchen as well.

My cousins garbage disposal (Brand: Waste King) in the kitchen has been leaking since she bought it and has given her problems from day one.
Besides that the trap that she had on it was not working correctly it was like an accordion and also causing problems with the dishwasher. Well the garbage disposal malfunctioned yesterday completely and thankfully she had a 2 year warranty on it and we were able to get her a new one but a different brand. Then the pipe coming out of the wall broke at the threads, old galvanized pipe in a old house. We thought she would have to replace the whole pipe and we're dreading how much that was going to cost and 3 days before Thanksgiving and we needed the sink,dishwasher and garbage disposal to be working.
I found Chris on Yelp today and called him and explained the problem and sent him some pictures. He said no problem there was a solution without having to replace the entire pipe if the pipe was not completely shot. He was very accommodating and said he could be at her house later this afternoon. Sure enough he came as promised and on time and affordable. He got the job done in a timely manner and installed the new garbage disposal for us also. YAY!!!Thanks to Chris and his assistant for coming to the rescue and for doing such a great job and being so kind and helpful.
I would Definitely call him again and recommend him to anyone.

So Waste King Garbage Disposals in my opinion are a waste of money, we ended up getting a Moen instead. I've included some before and after pics

The water valve at our home was leaking and the gas valve was questionable when we moved in so Home Depot couldn't install the washer and dryer we ordered when it was delivered. Chris is great. He is very quick at communicating, punctual to the appointment (he was 10 minutes early), courteous (he took off his shoes in our home without us asking him to; we are an Asian household), and honest. Before our appointment, I sent him a couple of pictures of our leaky faucet and he confessed that he is not exactly sure what the issue was, and said he can't give me a quote if he doesn't know what to fix. When he came, Chris quickly identified the issue with the faucet and it turned out that the part that needed adjustment was not pictured in the pictures I sent him earlier. He even told me that he did not need payment because the fix was so quick (less than a minute). I will for sure ask him for any fixes moving forward.

The knob for the cold water on our kitchen sink faucet was not turning on correctly and Chris made time to come see us on the same day we found the issue, approximately 5:00 p.m., so we truly appreciate the great customer service to get this repaired.

Chris needed to get the parts for replacement so we scheduled install the following morning, again, great turnaround to get the job completed. Because the house is just a rental, we went with the most basic set-up, with labor, parts, and one year warranty was approximately $289 (approximate as other houses might differ in issues/parts).

I highly recommend calling Chris for the job if you're looking for courteous customer service, prompt response, and reasonable price.

We just completed the arduous (for us non-handy folks) of replacing our badly leaking garbage disposal this past weekend. Excited to use our sink again, we started up our dishwasher only to be met with flooding of our air pump. WHYYYYY?!?!? A few YouTube videos later, we were still stuck as to why it wasn't clearing. We reached out to some friends and they recommended Chris and now, we know why; he's awesome. He immediately responded to us that late evening and even tried to offer up a few solutions we may not have tried before booking to come out the very next day. He kept us in the loop on his pending ETA and worked quickly to resolve our problem. Turns out we used too much caulking on the tubing from the dishwasher to the garbage disposal. So, the water wasn't draining as fast as it could/should be. Best part? Chris did not make us feel like complete idiots for the error. :) All this said, we'll definitely be reaching out to him again for any of our plumbing needs in the future.

It is with great enthusiasm that I write this review.

I Called Chris today at 11:30 and we set up a same-day appointment for 2:00 in the afternoon to install/remove a garbage disposer, install an RO system (both underneath the sink) and also look at a couple of issue with my toilets. Over the phone Chris quoted a fair price, didn't ask for a non-refundable service call fee, showed up on time, wearing a mask, super nice, very professional! After doing an awesome job installing the garbage disposer and Reverse Osmosis system, in record time (under 2 hours) he identified the issue with the first toilet and installed a new flow-valve, also at a very reasonable price. He then proceeded to provide his professional viewpoint on rebuilding an old toilet and recommended upgrading to a new one based on the cost to rebuild. I will definitely give him a call when it's time to install the new toilet. Did I mention he also provides a one year warranty on his work? He does.

I highly recommend Chris the Plumber, I will hire him again for all my plumbing needs.

Our shower was slowly getting worse and worse, becoming almost impossible to turn the water on. We'd tried to tighten the knobs and it only worked for a short while, we looked on youtube for repairs and it was just a little bit beyond what we thought we could handle ourselves. Well this a first for me I had a broken shower head where the flange broke. I did not want to risk getting the broken flange out myself so I decided to call Chris to come out to fix. I picked him from the good yelp reviews. I was first impressed when he answered right away and said he could come out between 3 and 4 I said that would be fine. I texted my address and around 2:30 he texted me and said he was running behind and could he make it for 5:30, I said no problem. He arrived around 5:20 and had the shower head fixed in 5 minutes which I hoped it would take but told him I did not want to risk myself in case I stripped the threading he understood that sometimes a layman can make it worst by trying to fix it themselves. I laughed and said okay how much do I owe you he said nothing I was late and it was only a 5 minute job. I was kinda of shocked you just don't see that very often so by him doing that kind jester I will be looking for him for future plumbing problems and my father and father-in-law have already taken down his number for the future. Chris worked on our property during an emergency leak.

He was very fast in terms of both picking up the phone and surveying the property within 30 minutes of the call. He came out the next day, gave us a quote for the repairs and was willing and able to start the work immediately.

I highly recommend Chris. Gave us a very reasonable quote, but more importantly, understood the urgency of our repair as the property would have had to shut off its water due to the leak. He also provided us with videos and pictures of the damage and repairs.

Chris has helped me out a jam twice.
The first time I was trying to replace a shower faucet valve and was basically stuck. A neighbor recommended him and when I called he responded in a few minutes and was at my house shortly after. It took him less that 30 minutes to clean up the mess I created and didn't want to charge me anything, I did give him some cash though.
Second, my water heater went out Monday afternoon. I contacted him around 5 pm and after a few texts he gave me a quote for a replacement and committed to being at my house at 9am. He was a few minutes early and had the the new water heater installed before noon. He also cleaned up and hauled all the old parts, trash and water heater away.
So all said and done he is an excellent plumber, knows his stuff, is very efficient and neat, and most of all a very nice guy. Also his prices are fair.

We had a leak behind our water meter on the curb which unfortunately made it our responsibility to fix rather than the city. We received outrages quotes with some plumbers saying they have to jackhammer the sidewalk and replace a large portion of the pipe which just didn't sound right because the entire leak was visible and accessible from the sidewalk cover.
Chris's quote was very reasonable and he went over the work he would do to address the issue, which made much more sense than taring down our sidewalk. The work was completed the next day and now our street is no longer flooded.
Very happy with the work and Chris will be my go-to plumber going forward.

I was referred to Chris The Plumber by one of my clients after a home inspection on her property. I have worked with many plumbers through the years but Chris is my new go-to guy. He's very reliable, shows up on time and responded quickly to an emergency when I had a toilet back up. He did a great job with a new laundry drain and installation of a garage sink, and even put the drywall back in place. Chris was awesome. Had a stoppage that just kept getting worse, he was able to understand the issue and quickly point out what was needed over the phone! Gave me a great and fair price. He came out and showed up early. He was able to install a much needed clean out and completely jet the line faster than others estimated just the clean out. Some other plumbers gave me used car salesman upsell/vibe and I never got that vibe with Chris.

Showed plenty attention to detail by taking care of everything. He actually did more work jetting the line than I expected, he could've easily told me it was done when the clog was done but he spent the extra time/effort to address the whole line.

Quality service and great price/value. Definitely would recommend and definitely will be my go to plumber for future projects.

Texted Chris Friday after they closed around 5:30 pm. He texted me right back, had an opening Sat. morning. He and his helper Luis arrived on time. They went looking for a possible leak under my house. Did a thorough inspection, found the cause ( a leaking dishwasher- so that will be another story!) While here, he checked 2 other quick plumbing issues. Very courteous, very professional. He is my plumber from now on!

Chris was awesome. We had a toilet and shower leak and I thought it was a lot worse than he estimated. He was correct after further inspection, and completed the job in a timely manner. He could easily have played on my initial estimate and charged me an arm and a leg, but he gave an honest assessment. He didn't leave a mess and replaced all the fixtures on the toilet and shower, that he felt would make it last. My previous plumber who was honest and fair had just retired and I was trying find a new one for all my plumbing needs. Chris is now the one on my speed dial for any plumbing needs.

Great service! My kitchen sink was backing up and both sides were clogged. We tried plunging and the water would just go from one side to the other. We then tried Drano to no avail. I sent Chris a message through Yelp at 9:58 AM and he was at my house by 11:45AM. He cleared the clog within 20 minutes of arriving and even cleaned the scum from the sink. Fantastic plumber and service. We recently had a new stove installed and because our home was built in the 70's, the gas valve sticks out from the wall. Our new stove sticks out about 6 inches from the wall and my wife was not happy at all. Contacted Chris about a quote and received a reply within 5 minutes. Great! Great! Person to ask for help. I got a clogged kitchen sink due to very old piping that a bigger company wasn't able to help. Chris came and got it fixed. I'm not someone who is knowledgeable about all the plumbing tools but I know for sure Chris has all the tools needed for the job. In fact, he brought more useful tools than the bigger company I asked for help in the first place. Chris gave me a quote before the job is done and he asked for the exact amount after the job is completed even though the job took several hours. He made sure to clean up the mess after the job. BLOWN AWAY.... Chris responded within 15 min with a quote (extremely reasonable price). When I was asked
do you need service tonight or tomorrow I cringed a bit knowing my wife would not be happy if it was left for the next day and I would have to pay a premium for the happy wife scenario.... NOPE Chris told me he would be there within the hour, and boy did he deliver.. I believe it was about 40 min (I apologize if I have this wrong but it was quick) I truly expected a much longer wait, so I was surprised. Chris showed up with a smile and a very professional demeanor, he showed concern for my flooring and was very considerate of how I felt was the best way for him to bring in his equipment (or what I felt comfortable with).. my experience most plumbers just kinda barge in.. Best of all he got my main line running again.. no ridiculous up charge, matter of fact no up charge at all... he did leave me with a recommendation of a more permanent fix to the problem, with no pressure to perform it just a recommendation... For me this is a sign of a competent plumber that is fair in there pricing trying to give me the best options for the long term but not trying to force it down my throat.. I appreciate that...
I will highly recommend Chris to anyone that needs plumbing, I was that impressed...
FYI.... I rarely take the time to write positive reviews as I feel if others had a positive experience they can write them, but Chris truly Blew me Away with his expertise and professionalism.

This is by far the most reliable service I've received from a plumber. He's come out numerous times and given input on minor issues along with fixing those things free of charge. So when I had a major issue I knew I was going to call him and that's just what I did. He was on time and professional. He replaced my angle valves, faucet, and drain. Then he found the cause of a minor leak in my kitchen that I couldn't find for months. All this was done in less than 2 hours. To top it all off, he was reasonably priced. I found Chris on Yelp after reading the reviews and was very pleased with the service that he provided. Prices are reasonable, business hours are accommodating (most will only service on Saturdays if it's an emergency and charge accordingly), customer service is excellent, he's honest and an expert at what he does....It doesn't get any better than that. He came out to unclog my bathroom sink which I thought would take forever because of the severity. But it literally took him 10min or less to clear it and it has been fine ever since and the blessing of it all is, he didn't charge me! I was so shocked because that's unheard of...some plumbers will charge enormous rates any chance they get! Unfortunately, previous plumbers have tried to add on parts/services that were not really required to complete the job they were called for - but not Chris. He's very knowledgeable and kindly suggested some other things that I should take care of which I truly appreciate the fact that he didn't try to make it seem as though repairing those things were required to fix the job at hand. I called Chris out of desperation to get my dryer connected after Lowe's delivered it without the proper hoses/valves, I honestly did not know if a plumber was even who I needed.
I explained the issue (incorrectly) and he said he could help, and was at my door 30-minutes later on a SUNDAY at 4pm.

I previously reviewed Chris the Plumber when we moved into our house about a year ago. We knew we had galvanized pipes and needed a repipe of the whole house. As a novice homeowner, I thought a repipe was a specialty job and went with another plumbing company. I am kicking myself for not simply asking Chris the Plumber beforehand! Turns out, repiping is Chris's specialty.
Anyway, I told the other plumbing company that I needed a repipe because we needed to replaced the galvanized pipes, especially because brown water initially comes out of the tub for a split second when it's first turned on. The owner assured me it's due to galvanized pipe and the repipe with pex will take care of that. Long story short, I continued to see brown water on initial use of the bath tub spout. After the other company sent someone out to check it twice within a few weeks of each other and still seeing no change, I decided to bring in the big guns... aka Chris the Plumber.
In minutes, he said it's the water heater that needed to be replaced, and he can replace it within the next 2 days. I appreciated the confidence he has, which I didn't get from the other company. He replaced the water heater and placed a filter on. His price was definitely fair and affordable. The true test was to turn on the bath tub spout... Et voila! No more disgusting brown water! I even waited a few days before writing this review because I wanted to be certain that I didn't see brown water.
So so thankful for Chris the Plumber. It's very clear he knows exactly what he's talking about. He's always very straight forward with the cost and I never feel like he's trying to take advantage of a novice like me who doesn't know anything about plumbing!

Chris really is as good as it gets. Posted to him here on Yelp yesterday evening and he came back within 15 minutes with a low and high quote. Sounded reasonable so asked when was he available, would tomorrow work? He said yes, what time. Would 8am work? He replied see you at 8.

I could write a whole lot about Chris because I was very impressed with him. Suffice it to say, he showed up on time, took the time to talk with me, did the job quickly and efficiently, and charged me the low from the initial estimate. We had a huge family BBQ we needed to get done and needed the sink urgently. Found out our garbage disposal was not working.

After calling all around, everyone seemed busy for a Saturday, which is understandable.

Chris told us he could come in about 2 hours but decided to give us some quick fix advice to see if it would work. We ended up fixing it using Chris's advice!

There's a reason why Chris has all five star reviews! I'm going to add to the stack!
I had a leak under my sink somehow related to the garbage disposal installation and my dishwasher.
I reached out to several companies via Yelp and Chris was very responsive. Through messages, we worked out what might be the problem and he set up an appointment with me that same day! Three of the other plumbing companies just gave me the stock reply to call them to make an appointment.

Chris took the time to diagnose what could be wrong. When he talked to me, he said it was a very simple fix and he probably didn't need to charge me. When he got here it took him a whole 5 minutes or less to solve the problem. Turns out during the insulation of the garbage disposal a little cap wasn't removed. It's a cap that's there if you don't have a dishwasher but if you have one you have to remove the cap.

Chris & his assistant were on time, respectful as they put on shoe covers before they came into the condo, and after he fixed it, he said he felt bad for charging me. I asked him to charge me as I respected his time and energy to take the time out to come over and fix the problem.

Chris and his assistant were super professional, and more than reasonable. I mean, what other service technician would not want to charge you for showing up? Where I live, the technicians show up and charge you even if they don't know how to fix it! Dumbest thing ever I know. But that's why I appreciated Chris and his honesty and willingness to come all the way out to do a minor fix!

I have posted his name and phone number for my whole building and everybody else to use him when they need an honest and fair plumber!

Chris and crew are second to none in my book.
The job was a complete re-pipe of my home and the price was VERY reasonable compared to others I've reviewed and investigated.
I had known this day was coming for some time so I called around and Chris was the ONLY one who gave the impression he knew what he was doing from the start.
Chris told me what his plans were from the beginning and each and every day of the work that followed. He gave me a ridiculously low price before starting and stuck to it. Considering he used copper and ABS throughout (no cheap PEX, AKA rodent candy), I still know I got a great deal.
I knew it was a big job and Chris made it look so easy. He didn't even mind if I watched.
Don't bother with the other guys, Chris is the ONLY REAL plumber I've ever known.

Today, I had an emergency call for help to fix our kitchen plumbing issue. As a follower to the Nextdoor app., so I went asked around and everyone recommended Chris the Plumber. Chris is a great guy. We had a water pressure problem. The house is over 50 years old. I thought maybe it was a pipe issue. He mentioned something about a pressure regulator. He went outside and said the pressure was at 40%. He said it should be way higher. He turned one knob and boom! We had water pressure!

He could have come up all kinds of things, costing thousands of dollars and I wouldn't have been the wiser. Instead, he did the honest thing and turned a valve. I told him, you have a customer for life.

My husband and I hired Chris to fix a leaky faucet in the backyard. The hose was also stuck to the faucet. Chris had to turn off the main line to the house. Ok, I'll admit my husband and I had let the front yard go (where the main is located), so weeds were just growing out of control. Chris asked if he could borrow our weed wacker. Needed to get a toilet installed, and a drain cleared up. Chris came out and took care of it. Due to an unforeseen incident he wasn't able to come out on the day scheduled, but he came out the next day and also provided a discount for the work done. Did I mention his quote was less than the other quotes we had, before offering the extra discount? He explains what he is doing and why, and will answer any questions you might have. I highly recommend giving him a call if you need some plumbing work done. I don't know if you'll find a more fair and honest guy out there.

I can't say enough about Chris The Plumber. I was visiting my dad from Texas helping him around the house. The last day I was there I noticed his toilet was leaking. It was obvious it needed repaired. I ran out of time so I called around for a plumber.

I noticed Chris had good reviews so I gave him a call. I talked my dad into replacing his old toilet considering the old one would have to removed anyway. I also warned my dad the flange that secures the toilet might need replaced as well.

Chris gave my dad a reasonable price and scheduled to come the next day. He was fantastic! He arrived on time and did an exceptional job. Yes! He did have to replace the flange. My dad was very happy.

I had old galvanized piping in garage where some fittings were corroded. Chris asked me to send a picture of the corroded fitting. I send him the picture of this fitting with adjoining piping. Chris told me to swing by and look at the situation and to figure out how he can repair the piping and gave me an estimate to do the job. After I gave him OK he came on the very next day and replaced the galvanized piping with copper piping. He completed the job on time with my full satisfaction.

I had a leak under the tub and didn't know where it was coming from b/c it was not consistent. I called him and he came right away and comforted me that there is no estimate fee.
