So happy we found Greg Kranz on Yelp!  He is honest, reliable and professional. It's his business, he does his own work so you know he stakes his reputation on your satisfaction. My sink was leaking and I feared the worst. His diagnosis was a garbage disposal. Nothing more. He installed the new disposal and problem solved. Greg Kranz plumbing is now on my personal Angie's list of home services experts. He's also a nice man with a very clean appearance and big shiny white truck. So nice to have him to go to for all our pesky plumbing needs!

I met Greg when I asked for an estimate on a whole home repipe job.

He is professional, friendly, and knowledgable.  He reminds me of my dad, so of course I would trust him.

However, I did not go with Greg for my repipe job as he only repipes in high quality copper.  I instead went with the more cost efficient PEX material.

Although, I do plan on calling Greg if any other plumbing issues come up in the future.

I needed a plumber to clean out a bathroom sink. I live in Aliso Viejo and saw some great yelp reviews for Greg Kranz.  I called him to set up an appointment.  The past reviews are all true. He is prompt, knows his stuff, very personable and will give suggestions (free of charge) to help maintenance after he completes the job. He rocks!!  I am keeping his number in case I need a plumber again.

Greg Kranz was very professional and dependable. We had a shower that was leaking and he replaced the valve and changed out the trim for us and he did an amazing job. He was quick, clean, and friendly. We would highly recommend hiring him for any plumbing job you have. In the future, we plan to use him again!!!

Reviews looked good so I went to their website to schedule an appointment. Entered all my contact info and job description onto their request form. Almost one week later and no response!

We bought a real fixer in Huntington Beach/Fountain Valley and have had numerous plumbing issues like, slab leaks, re-pipes, drain clogs, etc.  We've gone through a couple of different plumbers...until we met Greg.  He showed up when he said he would and gave us thorough and detailed estimates.  His prices were a tad higher than some...but the saying you get what you pay for never has proved more true.  His work is impeccable.  He fixed a slab leak, as well as did some re-piping of a bathroom for us.  As I said...we paid a bit more (not much), but his attention to detail and the quality of his work is so much better than anyone we've experienced.  As someone who is a freak for details, I look at every little drop of solder and every joint with suspicion.  Greg's work is as good as it gets.  I will not use any other plumber as long as Greg is in business.  I am calling him in the coming days to replace a blown out shower p-trap and re-pipe my new shower.   Don't even mess around with anyone else...trust me.

Greg is the only plumber that you should call.  His talents are only surpassed by his humor and way with his customers.  He is someone that I would confidently refer to family and friends without hesitation on any size job.  I will request his services for any plumbing issue I encounter in the future.  Thank you, Greg!

Greg is my new hero!  He responded to my call very fast and was available and very prepared to handle my kitchen leak with efficiency.  I was also happy to see that he was reasonable!

We got new kitchen counters and sink. Needed everything under the sink redone. He knocked it all out in no time at all and was cheaper then he quoted.

Greg was willing to help me on a drain problem at the end of the day on a Friday -- Fortunately, I had another plumber come out who fixed the drain -- But Greg stayed on the line to make sure my drain problem was resolved and even gave me tips for maintaining my drain.  Of course, he didn't charge me for his really good advice.  For that, thank you, Greg.  I will certainly remember you for future plumbing/rooter needs!

Greg is awesome! I needed a reverse osmosis water tank installed at my work office after a handyman didn't install it correctly and it started leaking. Greg fixed the issue in under 30 minutes! He was on time, super friendly and efficient. I would highly suggest him if you need a plumber.

It's been a while since I've had the chance to meet an honest guy like Greg Kranz. I am a caregiver and my 92 year old clients kitchen sink was leaking severely, I didn't want to leave knowing that my client might later in the day wander into the kitchen and slip. Greg said he could only do the free estimate that day but when I explained the situation he took a little extra time to fix the problem. Greg Kranz is worth every penny for his skill, professionalism, and caring demeanor!

We've lived in Mission Viejo for a little over eleven  years. For the first five, we couldn't find a plumber we'd have out after the first visit, until we started using Greg. What a find! He's installed 3 toilets, a garbage disposal, fixed tub, shower and sink drains and today installed an additional hose hookup outside off the kitchen - all done to perfection.

Btw, he must have been an Eagle Scout for we've found him to be - helpful, friendly, courteous,  kind, cheerful and clean. Oh, did I mention, he's also relatively reasonable!

Five stars no question. Fast and efficient service, neat work, and Greg takes the time to explain everything to you. This call out was for (another) pin hole leak that was showing in a different area but he located the leak quickly with minimum cutting.

I had a shower leak and was searching for a new plumber because I was disappointed with the service from another guy that I'd used for a few years.  Greg did the job quickly and was very professional.  I would certainly recommend him to others.

I called Greg and explain to him what I need them to do for one of our shower, He said Text me the devise's picture which we wanted to install. Later I called him, left him a message and  I texts him couple times and got NO RESPOND from him. what a irresponsible!

Yesterday Greg Kranz himself of Greg Kranz Plumbing Service came out to reinstall kitchen plumbing.  We give Greg Kranz Plumbing Service 10 out of 5 stars.  Greg comes out himself and does his Kranztastic Service.  Greg is PROfessional, honest, prompt, efficient and he puts up with my fiance's jokes; but Greg does not work for beer, we tried that!!!  FANTASTIC SERVICE!!!

Amazing! I would recommend Greg Kranz plumbing to anyone. He is clean, professional and knows his business as a plumber. After using 2 other plumbers in the past who were not good and over priced, I am glad I finally found a truly excellent one with very reasonable prices.

You know that awesome feeling you get when you find that local mechanic that is upfront and honest? Well,  I just found that on the plumbing side with Greg Kranz Plumbing.  Greg is a straightforward honest guy who does the job right.    40 years of experience.  

I had a few issues (one a result of hiring someone who didn't know what they were doing).  He took care of that botched job and the other issues in no time.  

I feel that it also must be mentioned that he was on time for both scheduled jobs.  We don't see that much these days in Southern CA.  

His card found a spot on the refrigerator.   Thanks Greg for taking care of business.

I can't say enough wonderful things about Gregg Kranz.  He was not only on-time, but *early* and didn't charge me for what was a very thorough evaluation of my issue.  Nor did he recommend unnecessary and costly remedies that plumbers can be known to do ... they generally get a stereotyped bad wrap right up there with auto mechanics.  The time to be doing diligence and interviewing for a good plumber is NOT during a crisis situation, so I'm thrilled to have attained a level of comfort with him in advance.  High marks for being responsive, courteous, and a consummate professional.  I hope not to have to have him back out anytime soon - after all, no one WANTS to need a plumber, but after having read other reviews here and my initial positive experience, I wouldn't hesitate to call him again and to recommend him to others.

Very happy with Greg Kranz, prompt, professional, and very friendly service.  He came over within 30-40 minutes of our conversation together.   We reviewed together the pin hole leak, which was dripping from our garage ceiling, from the bathroom & he quickly put a stop to the leak.   This is as good as it gets - It was fast, painless, and I highly recommend Greg, as he provides great friendly service.

Yelp reviews on Greg are spot on.  I called Greg after discovering that I had slab leak in my downstairs bathroom.  He set up a time for that afternoon (Friday) and confirmed that I had a leak and set up time on Monday to repair.  He successfully diagnosed the issue and was able to run a bypass taking care of the issue.  While he was here he also detected a cracked drain pipe and a faulty shower valve which he repaired/replaced.  He was very courteous, professional and worth every penny.

This is the third time we used Greg. He is always prompt, knowledgeable and efficient. He has a large truck with parts. Today he repaired another's work. Very pleased. Prices seem to be very fair for top shelf work

Greg was awesome! I actually found him here on yelp and decided to give him a call. My second bedroom in my unit has dual sinks and they had been backing up and draining slow. I called him on Hey Monday and he was able to come the next day in the afternoon which worked perfectly with my work schedule. We scheduled our appointment for 4:15 and when I was arriving at my house at 4:10 he was already there. He took a look at the issue and was able to fix it in about 35-40 minutes. He charge me the exact price that he quoted me on the phone, no hidden fees. He also told me that Moulton Niguel water sometimes offers rebate deals for buying new toilets up to $250. He even said that he would take care of installing the toilets if I decided to do it, of course with a reasonable charge for labor and taking away the old toilet. He was super friendly and I felt totally comfortable with him in my home! He was dressed very professionally and a button-down shirt and was just all-around really nice. I highly recommend him to anyone who needs a plumbing issue fixed. I know that if I have another one I will definitely be calling him!

This was the first major plumbing issue I have had with my house and Greg was able to resolve it within a hour.  The copper piping behind my bathroom wall sprung a pin hole leak and flooded an adjoining bedroom.  I sent Greg an email that night after his closing hours and received a call from him early the next morning.  He came at the agreed upon time and was able to diagnose the issue within minutes.  I spent the next 45 minutes listening and learning from him as he fixed the leak and explained the nuances of plumbing.  He also gave me some excellent free advice on other annoying but minor issues I had been experiencing.  I highly recommend Greg to anybody who may be experiencing plumbing issues.  If the need arises I would not hesitate with giving him the first call.

I definitely give top marks to Greg Kranz Plumbing Service!  Greg arrived promptly at the scheduled time and proceeded to install four (4) new Moen faucet and valve assemblies - two sinks each in two separate bathrooms.  His service was conducted in a very professional and timely manner, even though he had to wrestle and cut out a couple very corroded valves that were over 30 years old.  His pricing is fair and reasonable and well worth the quality of his work.  This was the first time I utilized Greg's services, but it won't be the last.  He is very knowledgeable and personable.  It's my pleasure to give him my high recommendations!

I've been meaning to do this for a long time but never got ariund to it.....my fault.

A friend recommended Greg. We had a gas leak underground. Greg dug a huge hole by himself and replumbed the leaking portion. The guy was like a gopher! Fixed the leak, filled in the hole, and charged us a reasonable amount (compared to all of the work he did, I considered it a bargain). But wait.....there's more.

20 minutes after Greg left at the end of the day to go home, we found that our water heater wasn't working. We immediately called Greg. This guy turned his truck around, came back to our house, and fixed the heater (simple fix; bad thermocouple)!

Repair professionals don't get any better than this. I'm still amazed.

Reliable, friendly and affordable. Highly recommend him for your plumbing problems. We had few leaks and he was there to fix it.

We called Mike Diamond first and we're shocked by the bait and switch tactics are still prevalent today.  Then are second call was made to Greg and we were so happy.  Greg was out the next business day.  And his fee was a fraction of the cost diamond wanted from us.  We will definitely be using Greg again for our plumbing needs.

I had a pinhole leak in my kitchen. Not knowing any Plumbers in the area, I initially went through the yellow pages. After hours of waiting and getting the runaround, I went on Yelp and found Greg Kranz Plumbing Service.

He made time to fit us into his busy schedule and fixed the leak in no time. He also took his time giving us important information regarding our plumbing needs, with no sales pressure at all.

We are glad we found Greg and have a family Plumber we can trust.

Recently I've bought a new condo and the water heater is broke.
The pilot won't stay lit.
I've hired a previous plumber from yelp suggested me calling GE since it is still under warranty and GE sent me the thermal couple to be replaced.
So the first plumber came and replaced it for me.
It worked for 2 hours, and the pilot went out AGAIN.
I called my first plumber and he said he did everything he could to help me and suggest that I call GE again.
GE sent me a new gas control valve to be replaced.
I called my first plumber but his answering machine said he went on vacation.
So I had to hire Greg to do the job for me.
He came on time, and solved my problem in 20 mins.

He is a lot more experienced than my first plumber when it comes to GE water heaters!

So if you have any GE water heater problem, give him a call!

Last Sunday evening my husband and I found a leak in our living room ceiling. After turning off water to the entire house we decided to call a plumber first thing in the morning. I found Greg on Yelp and gave him a call at 7 am.

He told me could be at my house by 8 to examine the leak and give me an estimate. Greg was on time, gave me a fair price and was able to repair the leak within a few hours.

I called and talked to Greg, assuming I needed a service call to fix what I thought might potentially be a big problem.  Based on my description of the problem and the steps I had initially taken to identify and correct the problem, Greg accurately diagnosed the issue and recommended some easy steps that I could take to resolve it before I invested in a service call. I followed Greg's recommendations and quickly resolved the problem. Greg will be my first choice for any future plumbing issues.

We were in need of a kitchen faucet replacement. This was not an emergency but most certainly it was inconvenient to be without our faucet. After contacting Proserv, who covers our condo complex, we decided that surely it should not cost $700+ dollars for replacement. The first call after that estimate went to someone else on Yelp just because his name appeared first, this gentleman did not bother to return the call. Greg was next and definitely the third time was the charm. My better half called him in the morning and he said he could come by at a certain time that same day and he did what he said he would do. He was on time, courteous and took the time to explain a few things that we had questions about. Greg is now on the top of that list and we will certainly pass out his card when asked do you know a plumber. We don't want to have to call a plumber but if we are in the need we know who to call.
