Best Handymans in Arizona

Very good contractor.  Had them replace a tub, do a tile surround, and lay tile flooring in two bathrooms.  Price was very reasonable.  Did several bids and they were the cheapest licensed contractor.  Overall the work was very good.  Only problem I could say is they don't really work clean.  I have carpet upstairs and on my stairs.  They made a mess daily and did not clean up.  Also they stained a couple of spots on the carpet but with some chemicals and a shampooer we were able to get it clean.  Other than that they were great.  The owner was personally involved and did a lot of the work himself.  He sub contracted the tile work and they did a good job.  The owner of course followed up on him.  Quoted me one price and even though it took longer than expected the price was the same.  We will be using him again in the future.

Mike is good and fast and he does not waist time. It is money well spent.

Trevor has done several projects for us over the past year and each one has turned our amazing! Definitely recommend him for any remodel project you might have. He has built a new stairway/banister for us, kitchen cabinet remodel, wainscoting, home bar, shiplap walls, and built us a custom media cabinet. Super happy with how it all turned out!

This is Thrower Home Improvement under a different name, same Terry Thrower that will subcontract out the work to inexperienced people and leave your home a dangerous mess. Not to mention they fail to return calls and or emails.

They also let their ROC license expire. Changing names doesnt simply erase poor work..

Larry hempen is a real find... Trustworthy and efficient.  I called him in the morning to help with a fence repair on our duplex, and by the end of the day we were done.  Very reasonable, and a nice guy.  We will definitely call him again!

What a great array of quality, affordable services this company offers! I have used them for over two years now for inside and outside projects from a shed tear down to repair of my sliding glass door, to a leak in my kitchen sink. Not only are they quick to respond, quick to compete the job, polite and good at cleaning up after themselves, but it's always at the best price I find anywhere. I think what I like most about Linda and her team - what makes it really stand out - is that she is just plain helpful and as concerned about my bottom line as her own. I have called her several times to say 'This is what is happening, what do you think it is?" and she'll say "It's probably this or that. Try this and see if it works. If not, call me back." She could just as easily have said, "We'll come over and charge you $x but she didn't and doesn't." That's nice!

I own a small business too, and I know that for every 19 nice customers there are bound to be one or two that you can't please no matter how much you stand on your head for them. And they're often the folks who vent their spleen unreasonably on these review sites. So I thought it only right to take the time to tell you how great this company is. This is the guy you're looking for. Jim is a hard worker, true craftsman and a problem solver. I was very fortunate in tripping over his listing on Yelp among all the other numerous entries. He's a busy, busy man due to all the requests for his services so he may be a little slow in replying, but be patient and be assured - he has you in his queue...he'll take care of your needs. Just leave him to his own devices. His services are very fairly priced. A good man. Work done here was R&R skirting, some plumbing repairs, and shoring up an outdoor deck.
