Called to have a leaky toilet fixed.  Geoff was out the next morning, on time, called to let me know they were on their way.  He showed me the problem from the last plumber and he fixed everything!  Great job!  Will definitely be using Apex for ALL my plumbing needs from now on!

Vanguard is great! Water heater needs to be replaced and it is stuck in a tiny room behind the washer/dryer. Rather they say they can't do it, Jan and George figure out how to maneuver the wash/dry to get old heater out and new heater in. They even changed a few bad valves all at a great price. Really appreciate his determination to get the job done! Thanks, Vanguard!

I was having some frustrating plumbing issues with my office space. Victor took the time to chat with me before coming out and then was able to come out the next day to help. He is friendly and knowledgeable and I would 100% recommend his business for any of your plumbing needs!!!!

Excellent work!! Fixer was on time and was professional! Advised me to just replace an exhaust motor instead of replacing with a new one at a higher cost. I will continue to use them.

If you have a serious plumbing issue go directly to a professional and skip Drain Works. Erik is a nice enough guy but his niceness could not overcome his lack of knowledge. Diagnosing my issue took him all day and he mentioned several times he'd rather be with his family instead out in the cold and I was out almost $1000 in the end (for his time!!!)with NO FIX!!. When I got a second opinion that company diagnosed and came up with a plan within 45 minutes without me telling them what the first opinion was. If you have a simple issue you might be fine as long as the older gentleman is with him. Otherwise BEWARE.
EDIT 3/10/22: Hi Karla thanks for your reply. You were not there so let me offer some clarification to what you're putting out to the public. The offer to put half my bill ($500) was toward a whopping $5000 of additional work. I did not trust Erik to do ANY more work on my house because each step that he took came with more and more costs. He started at $350 and we ended at $1000. He was too nervous about putting his very expensive camera down my basement toilet so he put it in my second floor toilet which of course came with an additional charge. Why more money to do the same thing? Then, when that did not work even though he told my boyfriend that he was certain it would work he decided to put it down my catch basin for another charge. Again, why more money on top of money to do the same thing? In the end when he was about to leave with no fix and my boyfriend and I were very upset he offered to put the $500 toward the $5000 estimated charges for pursing additional work. No way, no thank you. The professional plumber that came after Erik put the camera in the right place the first time without additional charges and it was fixed with no issues or comments that if his camera broke in my basement toilet I would be on the hook for it. I feel as though Erik should be contacting me with a $500 refund. Just want the public to be aware that serious plumbing issues should be looked at by someone with more experience. When I bought my house 3 years ago I needed a good plumber because of a water main leak.  Being disappointed by all my plumbers I tried Craigslist and found Bert.  He came out and underbid my usual guy by almost over 15%.  I was worried because of how big the job was.  But Bert seemed very knowledgeable .  They did everything they said and on schedule.  The water main ran under the sidewalk and he was even able to get the cement work done.  
Now I use him at all my buildings. I have used him at least 10 time since.
He was at one of my buildings today to rod the line and as usual;  fast, great work and under budget.  and he always does a great cleanup.  Thank you To Bert and the crew at ALL.

Our bathtub handles and shower couplet were leaking and the pipes were very old.  Joe saved the day by replacing the pipes to the bathtub and shower and put a round dish with the on and off for the water and new shower couplet!  He also replaced the on and off valves in the laundry room.  Joe was quick and very knowledgable!  Joe and Lucas make a great team.  I would definitely use their service again!

When you need help in a hurry they are the one to call you don't get an answering machine! I'm still waiting for that call back from the 1st company! Gary answered the phone and had me text him the info & forwarded to his assistant Abel who called me within minutes. He was out within a few hours and gave me a reasonable quote to rod out the plumbing 45 feet worth backup yuk!

We have a 1930s house with 1930s plumbing and our bathtub wasn't draining properly. The problem was that the previous owners of the house hadn't bothered to maintain the pipes in so long, the trap had rusted itself shut. Jose did a fantastic job in fixing the issue. He was also great about answering any question I had. Their prices are fair and I greatly appreciate that they list out everything that comes with that pricing. I will definitely be using them again for anything that comes up.

Captain Rooter Emergency Plumbers responded and resolved the small gas leaks in basement promptly and efficiently. Very pleased w the attitude and professionalism of Gabe, the service tech, who drove all the way from Chicago. Nicor confirmed that the gas leaks were resolved & turned gas back on. While the total cost was expensive, at least i have peace of mind that I know there are no small gas leaks which probably existed for who knows how long? Hopefully this equates into savings on my gas bill!

When I needed a kitchen drain cleared, I contacted Arco and got a quick response with an estimate.  Jason showed up when promised, was very professional, respectful of my property, took care of the problem, and cleaned up after. I would call them again when needed.

My project, which was to replace the rotted trim around the entry doors of a rental property proved more challenging than was initially anticipated. Tim came up with a solution, and executed the work to my complete satisfaction.
He arrived on time, and somehow survived a trip to Home Depot to pick up supplies, when half of Chicago had decided to spend their Memorial Day there!

My 21 year old hot water heater died and after some research I reached out to Rooter Plumbing.  Alex (the owner) responded immediately and 2 days later (he actually offered to come the next day but i was out of town) he was at my house with the new heater.  Arrived on time and worked efficiently and left the place spotless.  I had a few questions and reached out to Alex again and he was so responsive!  Great service, friendly and most importantly, trustworthy.  I will definitely be using them again!

Ejector pump was running more frequently and seemed like ground water was coming in. They quickly went over to the main sump pump which they realized had failed causing the water to look for another way out.

These guys are pros and the company was super quick to respond. What else can you ask for in a plumbing service?

Unfortunately, we needed to replace our water heater AND repair our furnace in the span of 10 days! However, Goode made the process as painless as possible. My favorite thing about Goode so far is the consistency of the technicians - everyone is polite, friendly, knowledgeable, and patient. Across the board! They answered our questions thoroughly, leaving us feeling confident that we're getting great service and our money is well spent. For plumbing and HVAC issues in the future, our first call will definitely be Goode.

1st let me say how detailed Walter was with informing me on what was wrong. He walked me through everything with such detail. He gave me his plan and the best most cost effective way to execute it. Him & his crew came the next day, on time ready to work and cleaned all areas they worked in. Throughout the repair he kept me informed on what was being done.
