I had been calling a number of plumbers for an emergency repair, and Apex was the only one that even picked up the phone - even at places that advertised 24-hour service. I had a leak from a first-floor unit into the basement. Aidan came out in about 30 minutes and was able to find the problem in a galvanized, 90-year-old riser and replace it in about four hours. Because I had been calling plumbers since the night before, I was truly impressed with the service. Low key, nice, professional, everything you want in a plumber.

I talked to Jan to have both ejector pumps in my home replaced. I was also planning on getting the anode rod in my water heater replaced, however, due to its placement and the difficulty in getting access to the old one, I decided to against it. I definitely appreciated the time Jan took to discuss options and he wasn't pressuring me to go in one direction or another. After that, he quickly gave me an estimate for the ejector pump replacement, got it scheduled, and ended up charging less because the job took 1.5 hours less than estimated.

Excellent service. I contacted Victor after a contractor told me I may need to dig up my floor surrounding a pipe in order to fix a problem. Victor was very responsive and stopped by in a timely matter to access the situation and offer a solution. Victor and his team are professional, reasonable, and easy to work with. Highly recommend!

I requested a quote for a project, gave all the asked for information.  I received an email saying they were interested in my project, gave their hourly rate.  That asked for more information. 10 hours later I received a text saying they don't  service my area.  I'm 1.1 miles from their location.  So I guess if you are 2 blocked from them they will do the job??  Giving a 1 star rating because I can't give a 0.

If you have a serious plumbing issue go directly to a professional and skip Drain Works. Erik is a nice enough guy but his niceness could not overcome his lack of knowledge. Diagnosing my issue took him all day and he mentioned several times he'd rather be with his family instead out in the cold and I was out almost $1000 in the end (for his time!!!)with NO FIX!!. When I got a second opinion that company diagnosed and came up with a plan within 45 minutes without me telling them what the first opinion was. If you have a simple issue you might be fine as long as the older gentleman is with him. Otherwise BEWARE.
EDIT 3/10/22: Hi Karla thanks for your reply. You were not there so let me offer some clarification to what you're putting out to the public. The offer to put half my bill ($500) was toward a whopping $5000 of additional work. I did not trust Erik to do ANY more work on my house because each step that he took came with more and more costs. He started at $350 and we ended at $1000. He was too nervous about putting his very expensive camera down my basement toilet so he put it in my second floor toilet which of course came with an additional charge. Why more money to do the same thing? Then, when that did not work even though he told my boyfriend that he was certain it would work he decided to put it down my catch basin for another charge. Again, why more money on top of money to do the same thing? In the end when he was about to leave with no fix and my boyfriend and I were very upset he offered to put the $500 toward the $5000 estimated charges for pursing additional work. No way, no thank you. The professional plumber that came after Erik put the camera in the right place the first time without additional charges and it was fixed with no issues or comments that if his camera broke in my basement toilet I would be on the hook for it. I feel as though Erik should be contacting me with a $500 refund. Just want the public to be aware that serious plumbing issues should be looked at by someone with more experience. Very knowledgeable and professional. Melinko went out of his way for us several times to try to fix a problem that wasn't his to fix. The whole company is great with customer service and very willing to keep the customer happy. I will only be using this company from here on out. 5 stars for the company and 10 stars for melinko!

I'd give no stars if I could!  Came out over a week ago & charged $89, to say I don't know, let me call my boss, I sent him a picture, I never saw this before. It was a Saturday not sure what kind ofplumber would say that!!  I'll get back to you on Monday I'll make myself a note.  Never heard from him it's been well over a week!  Beware

Well Mr Szabo, any concerning owner,  would've come out to access the situation, instead of sending 2 unprepared guys, and would've refunded the $89

Before I called Adam I first called rooter router and the guy came and said he cannot open the dum trap because something might get in his eye- and left- please do not use rooter Router - complete garbage!!

I called Adam and he immediately can out and cleaned out my drain in 15 minutes- did an remarkably job!!!!

I am a first time homebuyer and became distressed when I stopped at the house the Monday before moving in to find no hot water. On Thursday, my dad and I tried to troubleshoot it when some basic knowledge but then I had to reach out to plumbers on Yelp. Arco was one of the few to have prompt replies ... they then sent a guy at the end of the day to inspect/diagnose the problem the same day i first talked to them on the phone.

They then scheduled for Monday 8am, which was impressive as I did stress I was moving in that day and would love to have hot water by Wednesday. The problem was fixed (a valve replaced and new piping out in) within an hour of his arrival and I'm all set up with nice, hot water! Thank you so much for your help!

I couldn't be happier with Ally Handyman. Tim is very friendly and personable.  He provided prompt and open communication.  He was flexible with scheduling needs. He also took time to review and understand the project needs before beginning any work. He addressed the scope of work effectively and efficiently and more timely than expected.  I will be using Ally Handyman for future projects and would recommend Tim to others in a heartbeat.

Called Alex Sunday night after fighting with a clogged kitchen sink all day.  He returned my call promply and scheduled service first thing Monday morning.  Alex arrived promptly at 8am and got to work quickly.  He resolved our clogging problem before 9am and provided helpful tips about my home's plumbing.  Overall great experience...don't hesitate to call!

I had two loose toilets and thought I needed new wax rings for both. Brian and his partner arrived on time, assessed the repairs, and told me that both needed a simple tightening. I was so impressed with their honesty and professionalism. In light of how quick the repair was, Brian even asked if there were any other issues I wanted them to look at so that I would get more value for the money. However, their honesty and professionalism is worth every penny! They will be my go-to plumber.

We have a boiler system to heat our water and the first floor of our home. We contacted them over the weekend to fix a gas leak that was found by our gas company on the boiler. After multiple texts and reaching out for more communication, they got the part and replaced it after 36-48 hours. They left and my husband presumed everything was working. When the water wasn't hot and the heater was still not working another 36 hours later they came back again, didn't even take off the door of the boiler to see what I was explaining the problem was (the burner was not turning on) and didn't believe me when I explained how our system worked. I paid 500 dollars for a 55 dollar part and a boiler left without working. Would never recommend. Shared this with the people who recommended them and they'll also stop using them. Honesty instead of charging us money for a system they didn't get would've been better.

We called Goode at the recommendation of friends who had worked with them. Chip and Henry came out to install a new toilet that we had purchased ourselves. While they were on-site I also decided to have our main sewer line cleared and scoped due to some other issues we were having and they quickly sent Mike and Jared out same-day to do that work.

They were on time (early, actually), were able to get the second crew out quickly, they worked fast, were extremely professional and courteous, kept me updated as the work progressed, explained things and answered questions along the way and kept things clean as they wrapped up the job.

The only 'complaint' is that the work was pretty expensive. We were able to get a break on price because we hired them for multiple services, which I appreciated, but it still was not cheap.

I can't say whether I'd recommend Goode for more extensive or complicated work given the given the straightforward nature of what we had done and the cost. However, I can say that that I definitely appreciated their team's customer service, professionalism, and attention to detail in the work they did for us and will strongly consider them the next time we need a plumber.
