We woke up to water pouring through our condo ceiling and called Apex as we'd used them before for plumbing. They were very busy and said they might not be able to make it out that day, but then moved things around to fit us in because it was an emergency! The plumber came quickly, called with a 30-minute heads up when he was on his way, and diagnosed the problem right away. The upstairs neighbor's plumbing was involved, so he had to communicate with her too, and wound up replacing her toilet. He did his due diligence of making sure the water stopped dripping in our place before confirming that was the problem, which we appreciate as we've had less diligent plumbers in the past. He got everything done quickly and wore a mask and gloves really appreciated too, as we are super paranoid right now. I will say I'm a bit on the crazy side about covid so I was disappointed that he didn't have shoe covers, and the mask was a basic surgical mask, not the N95 advertised on their site, but he was very careful and considerate the whole time, and I think his precautions were all reasonable and professional - plus I can understand they might not be able to access N95 masks right now.

Jan was extremely responsive and George came the same day. Our tenant says: nice - informative, worked quickly - I'd recommend him. I don't think I can add anything to that. We definitely have our go to plumber. Thanks!

Had a good first experience and re-booked.  Next time was a no show without contacting me.  Finally I reached out and they texted me back that they would have to reschedule.  No way to get a human on the phone to talk to either.

Eric is the best. It's so hard to find honest and knowledgeable people and we are lucky to have found him. Eric came out when our basement was flooded and within 2 hours of our call have the drain opened and the water gone on a SATURDAY! If you need a plumber look no further he's your guy!

I was very impressed with my technician Bert. He was very patient and diligent in finding the root (quite literally lots of roots) of our sewer problem. He ended up staying several hours beyond our appointment due to the problems he discovered. It gave me great piece of mind to have the work completed despite him working until 7pm on a Friday even though he arrived in the morning, as we were having major backup problems. I have used other sewer companies in the past, but I won't use any other than All Rooter & Plumbing. Bert used the biggest possible blade to rod our main line and took out lots of roots despite the fact that another company cleaned out the main line in mid May. If you want your work done right the first time, do yourself a favor and use All Rooter! Thanks again Bert!

Can't say enough good things regarding this company! Very knowledgeable, professional, reliable. Would not quit until the job was working perfectly! Also checked a few other concerns and cleaned up any mess that might have been made! Shocked how very reasonable their fee was especially how difficult the job ended up being. We will be calling them in the future!!!

Gary and his team were super speedy responding to us. They gave us full disclosure on possible obstacles/issues with our project and ran a gas line to our kitchen so we could have our ideal set up of a gas stove top and electric oven. They also helped install our new appliances which went above and beyond. We had an unexpected issue with our 8 year old water heater during the process of pulling the gas line, but they replaced it at the same time and although it was an unanticipated expense, we're glad we have a new water heater that is under full service warranty from Gary's team personally for 3 years. Overall they are nice guys and a pleasure to work with.

The 24/7 Service Team was awesome! Jose Castaneda and the other team member provided me with excellent service from the moment of contact until the job was over within the one day time frame which was actually a few hours. Not only was my issue resolved, but his plumbing expertise resulted in better service. Initially, I needed my toilets repaired. Jose suggested that I replace the toilets. He told me the brand and where to purchase. I purchased them immediately, and the next day they were picked up- by Jose and partner and installed. I couldn't be more pleased with the new toilets!  My home has never been more pleased! The team was efficient, knowledgeable of ALL plumbing services, polite,  and HONEST! Not to mention- the costs were reasonable. If you don't contact 24/7 Service Team for ALL of your plumbing needs- you'll be disappointed!

Captain Rooter Emergency Plumbers responded and resolved the small gas leaks in basement promptly and efficiently. Very pleased w the attitude and professionalism of Gabe, the service tech, who drove all the way from Chicago. Nicor confirmed that the gas leaks were resolved & turned gas back on. While the total cost was expensive, at least i have peace of mind that I know there are no small gas leaks which probably existed for who knows how long? Hopefully this equates into savings on my gas bill!

I wanted to replace my bathroom faucets and Arco definitely had the best price,1/2 of what a few others quoted me. Jason was super nice and did a fabulous job! I will certainly use them again in the future.

Charges a rate higher than that of a licensed plumber.    i didn't want to take the chance

Called Alex Sunday night after fighting with a clogged kitchen sink all day.  He returned my call promply and scheduled service first thing Monday morning.  Alex arrived promptly at 8am and got to work quickly.  He resolved our clogging problem before 9am and provided helpful tips about my home's plumbing.  Overall great experience...don't hesitate to call!

Chicago Sewer Experts came out to fix an issue we were having with our washer/sink draining. Not only were they late (arrived past the time window we were given and no call to let us know they were running late), but the worker then locked his keys in the car which took half an hour to resolve. He used OUR tools to get himself back into his car. Once he was finally able to get in the car and get his tools, he did NOT tell us that blowing out the hose of the dryer would cause our kitchen sink to be blown out too. This caused mud and debris from the pipes to be blown all over our kitchen and our ceiling, which led to a lengthy cleaning process on our end and trying to figure out how to scrub the ceiling. Absolutely do not use them.

Dave did an excellent job replacing my parents garbage disposal. They are very happy with the work and inexpensive price. They are now our go to plumbers

Unfortunately, we needed to replace our water heater AND repair our furnace in the span of 10 days! However, Goode made the process as painless as possible. My favorite thing about Goode so far is the consistency of the technicians - everyone is polite, friendly, knowledgeable, and patient. Across the board! They answered our questions thoroughly, leaving us feeling confident that we're getting great service and our money is well spent. For plumbing and HVAC issues in the future, our first call will definitely be Goode.

We gave Walter a $10,000 deposit a year ago and the past year has been a mess trying to get him to pay us back for the work he never did.  We tried to be flexible with him and understanding but now he refuses to answer our calls or texts. He has promised us to drop off some sort of payment about 15 different times of which he followed through with only 4 times, paying us back a total $5,000, so he still owes us $5,000. He promised us that we would be repaid in full by the end of October then changed to dropping off a $1,000 payment the first week of every month and now...nothing.  

He may be a fine plumber, but he is not an honest guy in my experience.  NEVER PAY HIM BEFORE WORK IS COMPLETED! And if you do still hire him, let him know that he should repay the customers who he stole money from first...if you want to send payment for any work he does directly to us we can deduct it from the total the he still owes us haha!

11/30 Update: Walter said he would submit a $1,000 payment the first week of every month until he had refunded us. He then changed it to by the end of each month.  It is the end of the month and he has not dropped off a payment. So he has lied to us again.

12/7 Update: Walter is still not responding to texts or calls and has still not refunded us our deposit.

3/10 Update: Walter told us he would drop off a payment earlier this week but is not answering calls or texts now. He has promised that he would pay us back in full by the end of April.

4/30 Update: Walter has promised to repay us by the end of April. Expecting a check in our mailbox by the end of the day tomorrow.  Texted on 4/24 with no reply.

5/5 Update: Walter broke his promise that he would pay us back by the end of April.  When we spoke on 5/2 he said he would give us at least half by Friday (today) we still have not received anything and there has been no response to calls or texts today

5/6 Update: Walter did not drop off a payment for at least half of the remaining $4500 that he owes us yesterday as he said he would.  He promised and swore to god that he would drop off between $1,000-$1,500 on Tuesday 5/9
