I called late on a Thursday night for a leaking kitchen faucet, requesting a Saturday morning, last-minute appointment if possible. Apex called me at 8:00am the very next morning to let me know that they had scheduled me for a 10:00am time window Saturday morning as I requested! Geoff arrived easily within the window, waited with me as I had inadvertently locked myself out of my place and was waiting for an emergency locksmith, removed my faulty faucet and installed a new one which I had purchased earlier, explained what had gone wrong with my previous faucet, was very tidy, was very knowledgeable, was very professional, was very conscientious about shoe coverings and a facemask. Apex is the only company in my contacts for plumbing. Thank you very much for everything!!

Vanguard is like the Mayo Clinic of plumbing! For the second time they found the source of a problem nobody could pinpoint  (this time water on my neighbor's unit coming from mine). They spent hours carefully investigating until they found the problem and thought of a solution that didn't require me to re-do my entire bathroom like I was told previously to find the source of the leak. I truly appreciate their knowledge, love for the job and customer service. I wish I had more Vanguards in my life!

AGAIN I  had a plumbing  issue this time in the bathroom,  so I called Victor again his response was within reason and came  as he indicated,  job well. Done  and pricing  within budget.  You are amazing , no short cuts. Up front  with solutions

Getting a handyman through Fixer was so easy! I was able to schedule a same day appointment for 4pm and Chang arrived right on time, that flexibility to schedule him with what works for me and the reliability alone were totally worth it! Chang was professional and did a great job at installing our garbage disposal. I also liked that since it's a flat rate for each visit, I didn't feel the pressure to get through my entire list of fixes, but i can slowly chip away at it for no extra cost if I only have someone out for a small fix.

I have a sewer drainage issue and Drain Works Plumbing was very responsive and accommodating at short notice. They were able to rod and open the main sewer line. The workers were very informative and knowledgeable. I was impress with their service.

Out of 4 plumbers each with 4-5 stars this was the only one that was most thoughtful and thorough about the work that needed to be done.  Very cordial, honest and communicated very well from estimate to job completion.  I had full confidence.  They were also priced competitively.  Rooting and seperate pipe replacement plus concrwas done perfectly!

Another good job a year later

Discovered the toilet collar was corroded in my master bathroom. Called and was able to make an appointment right away. Joe came out, and actually gave me a call to see if I was available early, which was great! He was able to replace the flange and was in and out in 30 minutes. He was very polite and respectful, didn't leave a mess, and the price was very reasonable. Would definitely recommend!

We have a 1930s house with 1930s plumbing and our bathtub wasn't draining properly. The problem was that the previous owners of the house hadn't bothered to maintain the pipes in so long, the trap had rusted itself shut. Jose did a fantastic job in fixing the issue. He was also great about answering any question I had. Their prices are fair and I greatly appreciate that they list out everything that comes with that pricing. I will definitely be using them again for anything that comes up.

Pretty terrible experience. I had a backup in my basement so I called Captain rooter out. After walking around they told me they recommended to hydrojet the line to clear it and then stick a camera in the pipes to see what was going on.

Quoted me $1300 because there was no cleanout (WRONG). I showed them the cleanout and now the price became $900. They took a look into the cleanout and dropped their flashlight which became stuck as well. Refused to get it out and never responded again.

We are new homeowners and reached out after discovering a wet rug and what appeared to be dried sediment in our laundry room. I smelled sewage, and my wife didn't, so we needed to consult a professional for a tiebreaker.

I saw positive reviews on Yelp, so I left a message for Arco in the early morning and Peter called back within two hours.

Peter took the time to listen to our issue and provide on the spot guidance, rather than coming out to diagnose a problem just to charge for a visit. He recommended calling the Downers Grove sanitation department first, which I did and they came out quickly to assess.

Without even knowing Arco referred us to them, the rep stated that we did the right thing by calling them to come out before having a plumber come out. He said if we had continued issues to call Arco because they  know the process, are honest, and will not upsell.  That was exactly my experience, so they will be our go-to from now on!

My project, which was to replace the rotted trim around the entry doors of a rental property proved more challenging than was initially anticipated. Tim came up with a solution, and executed the work to my complete satisfaction.
He arrived on time, and somehow survived a trip to Home Depot to pick up supplies, when half of Chicago had decided to spend their Memorial Day there!

I had a clogged underground downspout drain in La Grange area.  Just noticed it during installation of new gutters, replacing probably 40 year old gutters.  Rooter showed up within an hour for a free estimate.  He got hands on and showed me how extremely jam packed it was with dirt and roots.  It had probably been that way for years and years.

He offered a few solutions and was honest about the probability of it being a total loss anyway after trying those solutions, needing to dig up and replace the pipe.  In the end, I think I'm going to avoid it altogether and go with a normal above ground downspout solution.  

Rooter has fast, reliable, honest service.  I'm going to call them again the next time I need a plumber.

Where quick, and found issues didn't know we had, the gentleman were knowledgeable and professional. Resolved issues quickly and cleanly. Would recommend!!

Dave did an excellent job replacing my parents garbage disposal. They are very happy with the work and inexpensive price. They are now our go to plumbers

My sink was blocked and I called Goode Plumbing who sent our a two-man team within four hours of my call.  Jared and Martin were amazing and diagnosed and fixed my sink problem within ten minutes!!!  This is my second time calling on Goode Plumbing and I am sure it will NOT be my last time!

I hired Zuniga plumbing in a frantic panic after the previous plumber I hired went A-wall!  Walter was knowledgeable, provided detailed explanations on why problem areas occurred, and provided solutions at reasonable prices.  Most importantly, he is licensed and insured for a large re-piping job he was hired for.  I cannot thank him enough for the work he has completed and the hole he got me out of.  We signed a contract for the work within a few day and he was able to start the work right away and was always easily accessible by phone or text.  I would recommend Zuniga Plumbing for the simple fact that communication was always clear, transparent, and prices were reasonable.  

The plumbing jobs included a full re-piping of a 100 year old building and bathroom renovation.  The work only took about 2 weeks give or take and he was able to complete a second job for me within the same month.
