We had an emergency (leak) and they came out same day 2 hours after I called. The techs were courteous and knowledgeable. Price was fair. They finished up in an hour and cleaned up after themselves. Highly recommend!

It was Saturday and our water heater tank began to leak from the top and bottom.

I scrolled through Yelp and found this business. I gave it a try and called the number. I spoke with Victor and told him my issue.  He gave an estimate and told me he will come out as soon as he was done with his current job.

A little over an hour later texted he was picking up a new water tank and would be on the way. He was professional and kept us updated on the steps he was taking.

He replaced our water tank and did an excellent job. I highly recommend Victor.

We have had numerous, terrible experiences with Fixers. Multiple times we have had to bring them back for errors in the repair, one time something even as simple as not being able to fit a hose for a faucet through a hole in our installed counters so I had to call the counter installers back only to find out it fit just fine. Waste of everyone's time. Another time it was to address a massive leak from our dishwasher, that was not previously there, after an installation of a new disposal. Now, after a home inspection for the sale of our condo, just found out that the dishwasher is not allowed to be drained through the disposal in the city of Chicago, something that they probably should have known when they came to do the repair, even if it was already hooked up that way. Now we have asked for them to come and hook it up properly to address our buyer's request and it apparently isn't their problem since it was already hooked up that way. Would have appreciated knowing that when they were here making the repair. Super disappointed with their consistent errors and lack of accountability.

Erick from DW was so great. He came the day I called (that same afternoon), and was super communicative / explained exactly what our issue was, the cost, several options on how to approach solving it, etc.

On top of that, our water shut off was buried under a foot of snow, and he worked with his associate for a full hour outside trying to find it. I very much appreciated the extra time he took in trying to solve the problem.

Our kitchen drain was clogged and garbage disposal broke on a Friday night. I called All at 9:30 on a Saturday morning and Bert was able to come out shortly after. He arrived quickly, was friendly and fixed all issues speedily. He even cleaned out under our sink when he was done. All in all, great experience and highly recommended!

I would like to thank Zach and Vinny from Kevin Szabo Plumbing for the great job they did replacing a section of pipe under my basement floor. I highly recommend them for your plumbing needs.

Upon moving into our town-home we discovered that there was a problem in our upstairs bathroom. Every time we showered there was water leaking through the ceiling into our half bath below. Gary was on time and was able to identify and fix the problem quickly. We are finally able to use our shower again! He also helped us diagnose another issue with the upstairs bath and give us a recommendation for someone who could help us fix it. I would highly recommend his services!

We have a 1930s house with 1930s plumbing and our bathtub wasn't draining properly. The problem was that the previous owners of the house hadn't bothered to maintain the pipes in so long, the trap had rusted itself shut. Jose did a fantastic job in fixing the issue. He was also great about answering any question I had. Their prices are fair and I greatly appreciate that they list out everything that comes with that pricing. I will definitely be using them again for anything that comes up.

Pretty terrible experience. I had a backup in my basement so I called Captain rooter out. After walking around they told me they recommended to hydrojet the line to clear it and then stick a camera in the pipes to see what was going on.

Quoted me $1300 because there was no cleanout (WRONG). I showed them the cleanout and now the price became $900. They took a look into the cleanout and dropped their flashlight which became stuck as well. Refused to get it out and never responded again.

I am a first time homebuyer and became distressed when I stopped at the house the Monday before moving in to find no hot water. On Thursday, my dad and I tried to troubleshoot it when some basic knowledge but then I had to reach out to plumbers on Yelp. Arco was one of the few to have prompt replies ... they then sent a guy at the end of the day to inspect/diagnose the problem the same day i first talked to them on the phone.

They then scheduled for Monday 8am, which was impressive as I did stress I was moving in that day and would love to have hot water by Wednesday. The problem was fixed (a valve replaced and new piping out in) within an hour of his arrival and I'm all set up with nice, hot water! Thank you so much for your help!

Had a problematic front door that wouldn't close properly.  Tim picked up the phone right away - and just happened to be in the neighborhood.  Stopped by and fixed the problem in about 15 minutes.  Rates were very reasonable and I would definitely recommend him as he will now be our one stop shop going forward when needing a friendly neighborhood handyman!  Thanks again!

Called Alex Sunday night after fighting with a clogged kitchen sink all day.  He returned my call promply and scheduled service first thing Monday morning.  Alex arrived promptly at 8am and got to work quickly.  He resolved our clogging problem before 9am and provided helpful tips about my home's plumbing.  Overall great experience...don't hesitate to call!

Ejector pump was running more frequently and seemed like ground water was coming in. They quickly went over to the main sump pump which they realized had failed causing the water to look for another way out.

These guys are pros and the company was super quick to respond. What else can you ask for in a plumbing service?

Absolutely not! We called them about the toilets being backed up. Ladies room and men's room. So 4 toilets and a urinal. Told them how many toilets and urinals we had and how it had to be rodded out 200ft.
 We were quoted over the phone $1745. After not having luck with another vendor, I went ahead and got these guys out.
 Dominic was the one that came out with two other people. Very friendly and approachable. No problems. Well I see the paper. There is an additional fee of $625 if it has to be hydro blasted. Ok I thought well hey if it has to be done so be it. So didn't question that. I was not happy that I was not told this over the phone as I'm using a company card and I needed approval.
 So I call right away to get the approval. Done. Final bill I see him add $325. I ask what is this for? He said because he had to service each toilet and urinal. Wtf! So I'm I like ok are you going to clean up the mess?? He says yes. So I. Have no problem with that either. However they mopped the dirty disgusting floors with MY mops and leave water all over our back room. Puddles. Also the toilets and walls covered in sewage. What happened to the cleaning ?? Wtf was the extra $325 for??
So, long story short, I feel as if I got taken by a local plumber. I should have just went with rotor rooter. I will NEVER recommend these guys. I was so impressed with the fast response and promises. But the promises were empty and the rodding of $1745 turned into $2695. If you want to get taken I guess choose these people. I will never use them. Yes I have had this problem in the past but the plumber I originally used wasn't available. I was actually going to use Good Guys in the future and recommend them but I can't. Not after what happened today.

We called Goode at the recommendation of friends who had worked with them. Chip and Henry came out to install a new toilet that we had purchased ourselves. While they were on-site I also decided to have our main sewer line cleared and scoped due to some other issues we were having and they quickly sent Mike and Jared out same-day to do that work.

They were on time (early, actually), were able to get the second crew out quickly, they worked fast, were extremely professional and courteous, kept me updated as the work progressed, explained things and answered questions along the way and kept things clean as they wrapped up the job.

The only 'complaint' is that the work was pretty expensive. We were able to get a break on price because we hired them for multiple services, which I appreciated, but it still was not cheap.

I can't say whether I'd recommend Goode for more extensive or complicated work given the given the straightforward nature of what we had done and the cost. However, I can say that that I definitely appreciated their team's customer service, professionalism, and attention to detail in the work they did for us and will strongly consider them the next time we need a plumber.

I screwed up...

I put some stuff down the garbage disposal that I shouldn't have. Clogged it up. Needed help.

Here comes Jim from Zuniga. Jim was super professional, informative, and went the extra mile to fix the problem. I live in an old building and he had to basically rework the entire system to get me working again. I'm eternally grateful.

I really didn't want to have a conversation with the landlord. Jim hooked me up today and I will never call anyone else for my plumbing needs as long as I'm within range of Zuniga's.

If you can't tell, I'm a happy customer.
