These guys were quick to quote and provide the service. Had a leaky outdoor spigot that could only be replaced by cutting a hole in the ceiling and removing it from inside. It took a bit longer than Jon thought due to the tight space, but he kept the same price quoted and did a clean cut so replacing the drywall was easy for me to do solo.

Based on great reviews, I called them for a broken pipe in our basement. The person who answered said they didn't service River Forest. I explained that we were right next to Oak Park and definitely within the Chicagoland area, but he said he didn't service our area.

Victor is a rock star!  He rodded my kitchen sink that had a bad grease clog.  He took out the rusting pipes and replaced them with PVC.  Plus he's the nicest guy ever.  I would have paid three times as much with a different plumber.  He had the best estimate.  I highly recommend him!!!

WOW...just wow.  We had some closet doors that fell off and we needed one of the metal handles put back on.   Patrick came at the exact time he said he would, and he was efficient, professional and safe.  He wore a mask, took off his shoes, and went above and beyond what I expected for my first experience hiring a handyman in Chicago.     I cannot say enough about using this company.   I will definitely use Fixer and request Patrick for my next job.  I've already referred him to a friend.

All around excellent experience working with Gary and Plumbing Pros! I called in the morning about a Sump Pump that was running far too often and sure enough, it was worn out, old, and the float broke off and was floating in the pit. I received a knowledgeable response and an offer to come by later on that afternoon, since I happened to be off of work that day. The team was able to come by, same day, diagnose the problem and replace the sump pump. The new pump is so quiet, I wouldn't even be able to hear if it was running. The pricing was competitive and upfront as well. Thanks for everything, Plumbing Pros! I look forward to working with you in the future.

They seem to have done a good job overall, but it was hard to communicate with them. He came fairly quickly to give me a quote and explained everything he was going to do. He seems very knowledgeable about his job and gave me a good price. However, he must be very busy because after I agreed to the quote it was hard to get answers to my questions. Then, he was supposed to return to finish putting the plate on the wall and to adjust the lights as they are motion lights and one of them only turns on for a second and then it goes off, so now I'm left with trying to fix those final minor things. I'm not handy man, so that's just annoying to me.

Just as a follow up, they did come and finish the loose ends. My advice is that if you sense your questions or concerns are not being met, just reach out to the owner of the company, Jesse!

Can't recommend these folks highly enough. They have worked on a variety of projects for us, big stuff and small, and in every case they have been responsive, courteous, knowledgeable, professional and a joy to deal with. It starts at the top, with Peter. He listens carefully to our description of the problem and is thoughtful in his reply. Same goes for the guys who come out do the work. I think their prices are fair and because they have so earned our trust, I actually feel like we're getting more than our money's worth.

My 21 year old hot water heater died and after some research I reached out to Rooter Plumbing.  Alex (the owner) responded immediately and 2 days later (he actually offered to come the next day but i was out of town) he was at my house with the new heater.  Arrived on time and worked efficiently and left the place spotless.  I had a few questions and reached out to Alex again and he was so responsive!  Great service, friendly and most importantly, trustworthy.  I will definitely be using them again!

I had two loose toilets and thought I needed new wax rings for both. Brian and his partner arrived on time, assessed the repairs, and told me that both needed a simple tightening. I was so impressed with their honesty and professionalism. In light of how quick the repair was, Brian even asked if there were any other issues I wanted them to look at so that I would get more value for the money. However, their honesty and professionalism is worth every penny! They will be my go-to plumber.

Very nice guys. But I paid them over $1,300
And couldn't fix the clog. Their next step they were going to dig and fix it. But I had to pay extra $1200.
I called some one else and fix it for $500.
I request a refound of at least half of the $1300.
That I paid for nothing. But just said they will ask the office. The office say they will ask the guy. And still nothing. This is over a month now.

I called Goode plumbing for a second opinion when another plumber threw a HUGE estimate at me to fix a single pipe.

I've been around the block enough to know that shopping solely on price with contractors is a bad idea. You can save money here and there but if you're after nickels and dimes you're just doing yourself a disservice as a customer.

But boy was I relieved when Goode's estimate for the same work was less than half of the other company's price! The plumber on site was clear to me about what was wrong and why, and how the fix would be done. He was also familiar with the type of material in the building and was honest with me about options to go above and beyond vs just do what needs to be done to get a confident fix.

They did the work, at less than half what the other company said it'd cost, and my leak is gone. I'll come back to them for any big job I need.

We had a kind of crazy situation with a People's Gas inspection - we passed an inspection and then they claimed we needed a condo board to ask for a safety inspection when we're a SFH.

Walter responded to my text quickly, and Manny came by and checked all our lines to make sure we could pass any inspection they could possibly do. They not only did a great job of checking all our lines (which isn't easy, since our house was built in the 1870's) but also did a great job of helping us navigate the bureaucracy of getting everything straightened out.
