Geoff was awesome! Remely professional, efficient, and very considerate and helpful. He kept on his mask, put on covers for his shoes, moved quickly and explained everything to me on a basic level. He did everything efficiently and they have reasonable rates. They came promptly after my service call was made yesterday and work with me to get this done quickly.

I have used Apex for big projects as well as for small projects and I highly recommend this company. He also has a great demeanor and spent a few moments to talk to my toddler who kept asking him questions! Ask for Geoff!

Vanguard - Jan, George and Co. are great. I've used Vanguard for a few jobs around my house and they do exceptional work. Jan is quick to reply to an e-mail or phone call, easy to get a quote and is good about arranging a time to do the work. His estimate/price may seem high, but I feel he really comes in the middle of the pack. I'm more than happy to pay a licensed, honest, experienced plumber who does the job right, explains the process, answers ALL my crazy questions and is respectful and professional in my home. The pics are from the most recent work Vanguard did just a few days ago. George and his assistant completely removed and fixed the kitchen sink plumbing nightmare that the previous owner had screwed up. I waited too long to have it fixed, but I'm really happy with the results. I can't say enough positive things about Jan, George and Vanguard. They are my go-to plumber(s) for every plumbing job in my house.

Submitted request to Plumbing123. Victor called within hours to provide quote, explained all services available and offered references. Their quote was competitive and their references excellent. Then booked and scheduled appointment. Victor and crew arrived on time and is very personable and knowledgeable. Victor explained the process and showed via camera my sewer drain line and its route to street which was not clear. Rodding began and was completed after full path was cleared into street line. Had several small projects in two condos I own in downtown Chicago and hired Fixer Chicago. The handyman was about 1 hr late and did not call to let me know. He attempted to fix a chip on the edge of a kitchen countertop but did not have the skills to do so and the results were awful! A chunk of wood was broken off of the bottom of a folding door when he adjusted it and I had to clean up everything after he left.  Others mentioned that they were not charged for the time spent on communication about the project/ only the actual time worked.  Not so for my projects! The timer was on from the time he arrived until he was ready to pack up and leave! I would say about 45 minutes was spent in communication about the different projects in different condos 4 floors away in the same building

The pipe under our kitchen sink burst at 5pm on a Sunday night and we were sure it would be impossible to find someone to fix it.  We reached out to a few different places and Drain Works was the friendliest, most responsive, and best price.  They told us they could be there at 7pm and then called 10 minutes before arriving, and arrived right at 7pm.  Erick explained what needed to be done to fix it and gave us a fair price.  Would definitely hire them again.

Bert was great. Very friendly and thorough. Called late on a Tuesday and he showed up right away.

I won't comment on the cost as I think most places are at least somewhat over priced. I will say that the job was done expertly and in a timely fashion.

Gary and his partner came out within 24hrs of contacting them ... on a Saturday evening to resolve my plumbing issue. Great service, and they cleaned up after.

Quick and effective, problem solved!

I am very satisfied with the service I received from 24/7 Service Team.  Jesse was very responsive and I didn't have to call, I was able to schedule it all through Yelp. I scheduled late Friday afternoon and had service scheduled for first thing Monday morning.

Jose and his team did an amazing job installing the faucet and were respectful and informative.  They wore covers on their shoes and worked fast and accurately.

I will definitely use 24/7 Service Team again in the future and recommend anyone in the area do so as well.

The service guy Brandon was very professional and friendly, cleaned up after job was completed.rating is a 7.all work done well I had frozen pipes that bursted.

We used Arco when we had an issue in our upstairs shower that was leaking into the ceiling downstairs.  Jason came out and he was very professional and upfront with what needed to be done.  In addition to the shower, Jason was able to fix a leaky shower head in the basement as well as a leaky outdoor faucet.  I will be using Arco again if necessary and I would highly recommend them for their honesty and affordability.

I couldn't be happier with Ally Handyman. Tim is very friendly and personable.  He provided prompt and open communication.  He was flexible with scheduling needs. He also took time to review and understand the project needs before beginning any work. He addressed the scope of work effectively and efficiently and more timely than expected.  I will be using Ally Handyman for future projects and would recommend Tim to others in a heartbeat.

My 21 year old hot water heater died and after some research I reached out to Rooter Plumbing.  Alex (the owner) responded immediately and 2 days later (he actually offered to come the next day but i was out of town) he was at my house with the new heater.  Arrived on time and worked efficiently and left the place spotless.  I had a few questions and reached out to Alex again and he was so responsive!  Great service, friendly and most importantly, trustworthy.  I will definitely be using them again!

Ejector pump was running more frequently and seemed like ground water was coming in. They quickly went over to the main sump pump which they realized had failed causing the water to look for another way out.

These guys are pros and the company was super quick to respond. What else can you ask for in a plumbing service?

Dave did an excellent job replacing my parents garbage disposal. They are very happy with the work and inexpensive price. They are now our go to plumbers

I called Goode plumbing for a second opinion when another plumber threw a HUGE estimate at me to fix a single pipe.

I've been around the block enough to know that shopping solely on price with contractors is a bad idea. You can save money here and there but if you're after nickels and dimes you're just doing yourself a disservice as a customer.

But boy was I relieved when Goode's estimate for the same work was less than half of the other company's price! The plumber on site was clear to me about what was wrong and why, and how the fix would be done. He was also familiar with the type of material in the building and was honest with me about options to go above and beyond vs just do what needs to be done to get a confident fix.

They did the work, at less than half what the other company said it'd cost, and my leak is gone. I'll come back to them for any big job I need.

We gave Walter a $10,000 deposit a year ago and the past year has been a mess trying to get him to pay us back for the work he never did.  We tried to be flexible with him and understanding but now he refuses to answer our calls or texts. He has promised us to drop off some sort of payment about 15 different times of which he followed through with only 4 times, paying us back a total $5,000, so he still owes us $5,000. He promised us that we would be repaid in full by the end of October then changed to dropping off a $1,000 payment the first week of every month and now...nothing.  

He may be a fine plumber, but he is not an honest guy in my experience.  NEVER PAY HIM BEFORE WORK IS COMPLETED! And if you do still hire him, let him know that he should repay the customers who he stole money from first...if you want to send payment for any work he does directly to us we can deduct it from the total the he still owes us haha!

11/30 Update: Walter said he would submit a $1,000 payment the first week of every month until he had refunded us. He then changed it to by the end of each month.  It is the end of the month and he has not dropped off a payment. So he has lied to us again.

12/7 Update: Walter is still not responding to texts or calls and has still not refunded us our deposit.

3/10 Update: Walter told us he would drop off a payment earlier this week but is not answering calls or texts now. He has promised that he would pay us back in full by the end of April.

4/30 Update: Walter has promised to repay us by the end of April. Expecting a check in our mailbox by the end of the day tomorrow.  Texted on 4/24 with no reply.

5/5 Update: Walter broke his promise that he would pay us back by the end of April.  When we spoke on 5/2 he said he would give us at least half by Friday (today) we still have not received anything and there has been no response to calls or texts today

5/6 Update: Walter did not drop off a payment for at least half of the remaining $4500 that he owes us yesterday as he said he would.  He promised and swore to god that he would drop off between $1,000-$1,500 on Tuesday 5/9
