Last week I procured the services of Apex Plumbing for a modest problem of a leaking toilet base ring and flush valve replacement. I made the appointment with Coordinator Jenny who conscientiously kept me apprised of the 3 hour scheduling window and the arrival time. Upon arrival, Technician Geoffrey RAMOS assessed the problem, made a diagnosis with a full explanation then quickly commenced repairs. I must say, I have never encountered a plumber like Geoffrey RAMOS who is so passionate about his work! Not only is he a gifted and skilled tradesman but his vast knowledge of plumbing history is refreshing, too. I  found myself captivated while also being educated by his enthusiasm for his profession. A consummate professional, indeed! Technician RAMOS left a lasting impression as well as a stellar repair job. I am truly glad I chose Apex Plumbing & Sewer as I now finally have a permanent, reliable and, most importantly, trusted company for all my future plumbing and sewer needs!! ( After checking invoice, I had to Re-edit this post for accuracy of technician's correct name. Getting old sucks!)

We had been having issues with our shower effectively controlling our water temperature. We had previously had another plumber attempt to fix it but was not able to replace the broken part because they told us to purchase the wrong one. I found Vanguard and got a quote that included the necessary parts which the plumbers purchased and brought with them and were able to fix quickly. They also pointed out a couple other issues with building's water heater that they recommended fixing and provided a quote for that additional work that I could bring to our HOA. I really appreciated that both plumbers were professional, friendly and explained the work they needed to do. I would definitely feel confident using them again.

AGAIN I  had a plumbing  issue this time in the bathroom,  so I called Victor again his response was within reason and came  as he indicated,  job well. Done  and pricing  within budget.  You are amazing , no short cuts. Up front  with solutions

Everything about working with Fixer was easy and quick! I reached out on a Wednesday to see if they could help hang some floating shelves that I had installed poorly. Within a few hours I was contacted with a quote and some dates (within 48 hours) they could come complete my project. Although there was a 2-hour window for my project, Ricordo arrived promptly at 4:00 and got started right away. I'm not sure it took him even an hour to fix my shelves. These shelves are incredibly sturdy now (and they look great)! I will definitely be calling Fixer the next time I have a home project.

Great service and very knowledgeable. Very prompt and explained everything.  Cleared the drain and identified an additional issue that they said could be a problem and provided options to address vs others that would just upsell

The process of finding any home repair service is nerve wracking and difficult, I am skeptical, always.  In my research, I found that Bert and All Rooter gave less than competitive rates.  

In addition, Bert was very responsive and honest.  I called on a Friday and he came out on a Saturday - he would have come out on the Friday but my tenants were not avail.  The sink line from dishwasher to kitchen sink was clogged and the grease trap was filled.  He came and fixed and gave my tenant tips on how to slow down the process of something like this from happening.  

I never review on yelp but saw that Bert had a few reviews (which made me skeptical at first) so I wanted to put it out there that I was satisfied with the services he provided.

Can't say enough good things regarding this company! Very knowledgeable, professional, reliable. Would not quit until the job was working perfectly! Also checked a few other concerns and cleaned up any mess that might have been made! Shocked how very reasonable their fee was especially how difficult the job ended up being. We will be calling them in the future!!!

I hired Gary to look at a leak for an upstairs bathroom which was causing water to drip from the ceiling below. After a review of the issue during the initial appointment he scheduled another time to handle the issue due to some complexity around accessing the location of the potential leak. During the second appointment he worked very hard and was diligent in finding the exact location of the leak. He then removed the section of the piping where the leak was occurring and installed a replacement portion along with additional support. Once the issue was fixed, he then ran a number of tests to ensure the leak was no longer occurring. I would highly recommend Gary for all plumbing needs.

Two problem with my past experience with the company
1. The estimates they quoted are so much higher than others.
2. The business owner is not open for price negotiation and seems very inpatient.

The good part is the technician Jose explains things in great details and is very patient when answering questions.

Captain Rooter Emergency Plumbers responded and resolved the small gas leaks in basement promptly and efficiently. Very pleased w the attitude and professionalism of Gabe, the service tech, who drove all the way from Chicago. Nicor confirmed that the gas leaks were resolved & turned gas back on. While the total cost was expensive, at least i have peace of mind that I know there are no small gas leaks which probably existed for who knows how long? Hopefully this equates into savings on my gas bill!

I had several issues all at once toilet stopped up hot water heater went out. Arco tech john came out to snake the toilet turns out nothing in the line.  I need a new toilet I ran to Home Depot to buy new toilet. they put in the new toilet and water heater on the same afternoon.  so awesome   would highly recommend. very professional and clean. Thank you

Had a problematic front door that wouldn't close properly.  Tim picked up the phone right away - and just happened to be in the neighborhood.  Stopped by and fixed the problem in about 15 minutes.  Rates were very reasonable and I would definitely recommend him as he will now be our one stop shop going forward when needing a friendly neighborhood handyman!  Thanks again!

Called Alex Sunday night after fighting with a clogged kitchen sink all day.  He returned my call promply and scheduled service first thing Monday morning.  Alex arrived promptly at 8am and got to work quickly.  He resolved our clogging problem before 9am and provided helpful tips about my home's plumbing.  Overall great experience...don't hesitate to call!

After a minor overflow caused by torrential rains we had some water seep in through our drains leaving minimal, but standing water. I was away on business and found this team through YELP. They responded instantly, despite the majority of the city having flooded.

Robert arrived, explained honestly that outside of a flood prevention system, this was likely to be an issue. But in his inspection noticed that our pumps were clogged as well as our catch basin, which was severely backed up. We were informed that, clearing these may have helped prevent the water seepage but wouldn't guarantee it. However I knew these systems needed to be cleaned and maintained and he offered to help us on the spot. I appreciate honestly. They're also very confident and knowledgeable about what to do and expect.

This is a team I will call for any plumbing needs in the future. Knowing I can ask a question, get an honest answer, and the work done is peace of mind not always available.

Absolutely not! We called them about the toilets being backed up. Ladies room and men's room. So 4 toilets and a urinal. Told them how many toilets and urinals we had and how it had to be rodded out 200ft.
 We were quoted over the phone $1745. After not having luck with another vendor, I went ahead and got these guys out.
 Dominic was the one that came out with two other people. Very friendly and approachable. No problems. Well I see the paper. There is an additional fee of $625 if it has to be hydro blasted. Ok I thought well hey if it has to be done so be it. So didn't question that. I was not happy that I was not told this over the phone as I'm using a company card and I needed approval.
 So I call right away to get the approval. Done. Final bill I see him add $325. I ask what is this for? He said because he had to service each toilet and urinal. Wtf! So I'm I like ok are you going to clean up the mess?? He says yes. So I. Have no problem with that either. However they mopped the dirty disgusting floors with MY mops and leave water all over our back room. Puddles. Also the toilets and walls covered in sewage. What happened to the cleaning ?? Wtf was the extra $325 for??
So, long story short, I feel as if I got taken by a local plumber. I should have just went with rotor rooter. I will NEVER recommend these guys. I was so impressed with the fast response and promises. But the promises were empty and the rodding of $1745 turned into $2695. If you want to get taken I guess choose these people. I will never use them. Yes I have had this problem in the past but the plumber I originally used wasn't available. I was actually going to use Good Guys in the future and recommend them but I can't. Not after what happened today.

I had service on 11/29 . Antonio was the worker who contacted me. I was quoted $700.00 to replace a shower cartridge which I thought was too much but I was away from home and wanted my shower working. I agreed because I was 43 miles away working. I was then told the entire shower valve would have to be replaced and the risers would be replaced also. I requested ball valves to be install for shutoffs. I was quoted $2699 which I thought was way too much but the risers would be replaced and I was away from home. I agreed to the price. I was told later that the risers couldn't be replaced because went too far down the wall. A new shower valve and trim kit were installed. I was told the job was done and provided payment over the phone job unseen because I was still working. When I got home and inspected the job, I saw a huge hole in the closet where the access to the pipes was visible. There was minimal cooper replacement of the plumbing. Approximately 2-3 feet of work leaving most of the existing galvanized pipe untouched. No shut off ball valves were install as discussed, which was possible. Other galvanized sections that could have been replaced were not. With the Moen shower valve and trim kit and fittings, I couldn't see more than $500 in parts and that is being generous. I was never given a downgraded price for the downgraded work preformed. I feel I was taken very much advantaged of with the price charged for the work performed. A few days latter I received a text message from Lexus requesting a review of Martin D. who I didn't know. I called to discuss the matter and talked with Jake the manager. He said usually a job of replacing a shower valve was only $1350.00 and he would have to look into the work. I told Jake that I'm planning to leave my experience on Yelp but I thought I would contact him first for some sort of resolution to the experience. Jake or Goode plumbing never responded

This company is always the most  reliable, responsive, honest and as straightforward as they come. Walter the owner will always make sure you can get back up and running. He is conscience of working around your business schedule to help you minimize your losses.

He will also give you options. Most plumbers will only give you the most expensive option and nothing else. He knows how to treat his customers well which is why I have used Zuniga plumbing for the past 15 years and he has never let me down. In my book he would get ten stars.
